All I'm saying is that if you are not in the WWE you suck as a wrestler. That's it.
WOW
Toshiako Kawada Mitsuharu Misawa Kenta Kobashi Jushin Thunder Liger Jun Akiyama Hiroyoshi Tenzen
All suck ?
Wrestling in Japan= sport Mexico =Religion Canada= tradition America= Joke
This pointless though. We're never going to change your point of view and that's fine because it's yours and your entitled to it.

I really don't get this point at all. I'm pretty sure Batista, Flair, Kane, Khali, Lashley and himself make Vince money by being on TV and being positioned on the card where they are. Maybe I'm misinterpreting your post, I don't know. I'm talking -wrestlers- and their talents. I myself don't give a rip how much money they bring into the WWE. That's not why I watch wrestling. Well you should. Because if the wrestlers you like don't make any money, they won't be on TV and you won't be able to watch them. Real simple.

Yes they DO make Vince money but the post was regards to your post about "if your not in WWE you suck as a WRESTLER." With the capped being the word of importance of course.

But in your opinion it is not wrestling that is the key it is cash and sports entertainment that the key components. Wrestling is a distant third.

So I missed a whole page of this while on the conference call, but everyone's been fighting the good fight without me. However, since I was specifically addressed ... What makes him principled? He chose something he values in ROH, be it his freedom, his ability to ply his craft in the manner he chooses, or whatever, over money. In my eyes, that makes him principled (and awesome).

As Joey Styles said they're not even called wrestlers is the WWE. So why should they worry about good wrestlers ? They only need the guys that look good , talk good and can sell stuff. It's all about the Benjamin's baby because WRESTLING ended years ago . Doesn't matter though , the purist know where to look.

[quote author=aquinas board=nwa thread=1168625707 post=1170189554"X is a great wrestler because he sold more t-shirts last month than any other wrestler"
That's fine, but I don't think most wrestling fans (or any fans of any entertainment form) actually think that way.
[/quote]
But the thing is a lot outside of the IWC do think that way. If the guy sells a lot of shirts he is popular. You either go with the crowd because everyone likes this guy or your the exact opposite and hate him because everyone likes him.
Either way all the workrate in the world without any charisma wont make the random fan put down 50 bucks to order the ppv. Not here in America. Vince runs a business, his business makes tons of money, he could care less if Umaga can't carry a match like RVD, people will pay to see if the monster can beat John Cena or not because you can look at the guy and be like "Damn, dude is a beast. He might kick Cena's ***" Vince could care less about the dude who complains about whether the match was 2,3, or 4 stars. He cares about getting the person that just bought this ppv to enjoy the enviroment, atomsphere or entertainment and buy the next one.

Let's hear it for circular arguments where neither side listens to each other!
Oh, wait. I'm tired of hearing that.
