NWA Heartland Card #40 Value City Arena, Columbus, Ohio March 26, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to another special edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Columbus, Ohio, land of the Buckeyes! Coach Thad Motta has taken the Scarlet and Gray to the Final Four and the city is buzzing. And tonight, we have a championship tournament of our own reaching its climax! Mark Madden: That’s right, Lance, it is a very special night for the tag team division as we will crown new champions! Our main event will be the finals of the tag team tournament, where you will see the BRISCOE BROTHERS square off against THE PRINCES OF DANGER! I can’t wait! Let’s go to the ring for our opening match. CURT HENNIG (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned COLT CABANA(Referee: Danny Davis) Hennig opened the match with a flurry, taking over on Colt with his athleticism. Colt rallied briefly, hitting Hennig with a powerbomb, but Curt took the action outside the ring and suplexed Cabana onto the concrete floor. Hennig hurled Cabana back into the ring and finished him with a Hennig Plex. CHRIS HERO pinned STING(Referee: Joe Kopasz) An upset for Hero! The native Daytonian was at the top of his game tonight, taking charge after Sting missed a shoulder smash and careened into the turnbuckle. Hero was relentless, pounding away at Sting for four near-falls before finishing the weakened warrior with a diving double foot stomp. Mark Madden: Two fine matches to open tonight’s card. What a great win for Hero! That could really propel his career. Our next match is a very important one- the winner will be in line for a number one contenders’ match for the Heartland Title! BRYAN DANIELSON pinned "MR. BIG TIME" BUFF BAGWELL(Referee: Brady Boone) The "American Dragon" kept it simple tonight, dominating Bagwell on the mat. When Danielson rolled Bagwell into the Cattle Mutilation, it looked like one or both of his shoulders would pop completely out of socket. Bagwell survived, but was not the same after that hold, eventually tasting defeat after a full nelson suplex. Lance Russell: What a great match-up! The Dragon is on a roll and looking for a shot at the Hitman. That match would be a technical showcase! We’re off to a great start tonight, with two crucial matches yet to come. Let’s take a break. Ohio State Buckeye great JAMES LAURINITIS is here to sign autographs at the Heartland Souvenir Stand- you won’t want to pass this opportunity by! ***INTERMISSION***NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHCHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned DELIRIOUS(Referee: Heather Owens) Delirious and Daniels went around and around the ring, trading the advantage for a lengthy period of time. Delirious took the advantage with a leaping clothesline and trapped Daniels in the Cobra Stretch, but Allison Danger distracted referee Heather Owens. Daniels took advantage, hitting Delirious with a foreign object. Delirious was staggered, and walked into an Angel's Wings just as Heather sent Allison back to the floor. Heather counted the pinfall and awarded the match to Daniels. Enraged, Delirious took the microphone and berated the beleaguered blonde referee.Delirious: BAH BAH BLAH BLAH FUTSUTSUKA JOSHI SHINPAN! BAH BLAH JOSHI NO SHINPAN BAH GAH GAH GAH BAH BLAH! Mark Madden: Ummm… yeah, okay goofball, whatever you say! I’m not sure whether Heather has a date now, or maybe Delirious knows where the WMD’s are stashed in Iraq. Who can tell? Whatever. But now, fans, I am proud to present the finals of the NWA Heartland Tag Team Tournament! We have two teams ready to do battle who have toiled endlessly to achieve a level of success that would make even Pat O’Connor proud. Let’s go to Lillian Garcia for the introductions. MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FINALLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your Main Event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with no time limit, and is for the NWA Heartland Tag Team Championship! Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER, at a total combined weight of 430 pounds, the team of BJ WHITMER and RODERICK STRONG, THE PRINCES OF DANGER!And their opponents, at a total combined weight of 385 pounds, accompanied to the ring by WOMAN, the team of JAY and MARK, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS!THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) defeated THE PRINCES OF DANGER (BJ WHITMER & RODERICK STRONG w/ ALLISON DANGER)(Referee: Danny Davis) In an epic battle, the Briscoe Brothers survived a brutal encounter to capture the Heartland Tag Team Championship. The match more than lived up to the hype, with the Princes taking charge early in the match, isolating Jay Briscoe and wearing him down. Whitmer hit Jay with an awesome Exploder for a two-count and the Princes nearly captured the gold. Woman, sensing her men were in trouble, threw powder into the eyes of Whitmer, allowing Jay to escape and tag Mark into the match. Mark nailed BJ with a springboard clothesline, and proceeded to pummel Whitmer. Whitmer finally tagged out to Strong, who took over on Mark and powerbombed him into the turnbuckle! Jay narrowly made the save and re-entered the match despite his weakened condition. Jay was able to gain momentum, nailing Strong with a Yakuza kick. Whitmer was forced to return to the ring to make the save, and the Briscoes were ready, hitting BJ with a Spike J-Driller to score the pin! Lance Russell: Wow! What a match! And what an exciting conclusion to an outstanding tournament. Congratulations to Woman and the Briscoe Brothers for capturing the tag team titles! And I would be remiss if I did not also congratulate my partner, Mark Madden, for directing a most excellent championship tournament. But the rivalry between Woman and Allison Danger will continue, and I am sure Allison will have her men lurking just around the corner for another shot at the belts. Fans, it has been another great night of action here on Monday Night Adrenaline. Thank you for joining us! We’ll be on pay-per-view this Friday Night with Heartland Havoc VI from Dayton, featuring three exciting title matches. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Havoc VI Ervin J. Nutter Center, Dayton, Ohio March 30, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Heartland Havoc VI ! I am your host, Lance Russell, and I will be joined by Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia to bring you an exciting night of action for the heart of the Heartland, the Ervin J. Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. We have all three Heartland titles on the line tonight! Mark Madden: Lance, excuse the interruption, but there’s a melee happening in the locker room area! We need to get a camera back there now! The scene shifts to the backstage area where CARLITO and BATISTA are attacking BRYAN DANIELSON. Batista shoves Danielson back-first into a bank of lockers. As he staggers away, Carlito moves in from behind and clips Danielson across the back of the left knee. NIGEL MCGUINESS storms into the locker room, fists flying, and Batista and Carlito beat a hasty retreat. MELINA shrieks as she leads her men away from the scene of the attack. Danielson is seen laying on the floor of the locker room, holding his left knee.Lance Russell: Of all the low-down, dirty tactics. I am disgusted. Carlito is due to face Danielson tonight in our opening match. I guess he’s not man enough to get his business done in the ring, so instead he gets that big bully Batista to help him out in the locker room. I guess when Melina is involved, we shouldn’t expect anything less. BRYAN DANIELSON defeated CARLITO (w/ MELINA) by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) Despite being hobbled by the left knee injury, Danielson fought a very smart match, keeping Carlito grounded with submission moves. After weakening his man with a surfboard, Danielson delivered a series of mixed martial arts elbow smashes to Carlito's temple until he was knocked out! When Boone determined that Carlito was unable to continue, he called for the bell and awarded the match to Danielson. Lance Russell: Wow! Danielson is one dangerous competitor inside the squared circle. Even with a bad wheel, he took the fight right to Carlito and came away victorious. I wonder if that performance will earn him a spot on Team Heartland at Spring Stampede? GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATIONBUFF BAGWELL pinned CURT HENNIG (w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Danny Davis) Hennig controlled much of this bout in a slow, methodical fashion, with some help from Val who raked the eyes of Mr. Big Time. Infuriated, Bagwell nailed Hennig off the ropes with a powerful running clothesline, and pinned him after a well-executed spinning neckbreaker! After the match, a frustrated Hennig attacked Bagwell and knocked him to the mat. Hennig went to ringside and picked up a steel chair, but Bagwell kicked Hennig in the gut and the chair fell to the mat. Bagwell prepared to DDT Hennig onto the chair, but RICK RUDE stormed the ring. Rude and Hennig began a double-team beatdown on Bagwell until PETEY WILLIAMS dashed in from the locker room to clear the ring.Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! Two matches, two big brawls, and we are just getting started! The intensity level has never been higher. My question is, what on earth is Rick Rude doing out here? He has a title match against BRET HART tonight. He has no business being caught up in the middle of Bagwell’s business. We’ll see Rude again tonight in the main event. Now, let’s take you to the first of our title matches for tonight! MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP A. J. STYLES pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) to win the title!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In a spectacular, high-flying bout, A. J. Styles got the best of Daniels, getting an incredible aerial flurry going to build momentum. Allison tried to intervene, but Kopasz put her off the apron. Distracted, Daniels walked right in to a powerful Pele kick! AJ followed up quickly with an Air Raid Crash and pinned Daniels cleanly to capture the gold! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! It’s not often that someone gets the best of Christopher Daniels. You gotta hand it to A.J., that was a phenomenal move indeed. Congratulations to your new Midwest Heavyweight Champion, A.J. Styles. Fans, that match is going to take us to intermission. Be sure to check out the Heartland Concession Stand and Shoe Shine Stand during the break. We’ll be back in just a few minutes with more great wrestling action! ***INTERMISSION***Lance Russell: Okay, fans, we’re back. It is now time for the showdown between Rick Steiner and his partners as they take on LAX in a steel cage. Before we go to the ring, let’s take a look back at the history between these teams. But be advised, this footage is not for the squeamish. As the action resumes, a video package plays, featuring the feud between LAX and the Steiner Brothers. The scene from Memphis is replayed, with HERNANDEZ slamming the head of SCOTTY STEINER into the monitor at the announce table, followed by an unconscious Scotty being taken from the Mid-South Coliseum in an ambulance.STEEL CAGE SHOWDOWNLAX (KONNAN, HOMICIDE & HERNANDEZ) defeated RICK STEINER, NIKITA KOLOFF, & EUGENE(Referee: Danny Davis) The steel cage showdown between these bitter enemies was as brutal as expected. Homicide was busted open early in the match when Steiner ground his face into the cage and Eugene repeated the maneuver. But Homicide managed to avoid being pinned and tagged out to Hernandez, allowing the match to continue. All six men took a pounding, and none backed down. After a lengthy brawl, the finish came when Hernandez dropped Nikita throat-first onto the top rope, then delivered a powerful Megabomb. Neither Eugene nor Rick could interrupt Danny Davis as he counted the pin. Following the decision, the brawling continued. Hernandez dragged Nikita to the cage door, and slammed the door repeatedly on Koloff's left hand. Koloff shrieked and grabbed his wrist, finally prompting Steiner and Eugene to come to his aid. But the damage had already been done, and Nikita had to be helped back to the dressing room.Mark Madden: Oh, what a tough night for Koloff. Did you see how his wrist was hanging off his arm? That can't be good. Looks like another casualty of the LAX. These guys are nothing but trouble. Only an idiot would mess with the Exchange. Unfortunately, Rick Steiner and Eugene both fit the bill. Will the madness know no end? On to the next match. I am very proud to present a rematch for the Heartland Tag Team Championship! THE BRISCOE BROTHERS just captured the titles in the tournament, and they have already agreed to a rematch against THE PRINCES OF DANGER. This should be another instant classic! HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPTHE BRISCOE BROTHERS (JAY & MARK w/ WOMAN) defeated THE PRINCES OF DANGER (BJ WHITMER & RODERICK STRONG w/ ALLISON DANGER) to retain the titles(Referee: Heather Owens) The rematch was far less compelling than the original title bout, as the Briscoes dominated from the opening bell. The Brothers isolated Whitmer in the ring in the early stages of the match and wore him down before he could tag in Strong. Roderick suffered a similar fate as the Briscoes controlled him with frequent tags and superior teamwork. Allison tried to intervene, but Woman pulled her off the apron. Jay and Mark executed a fabulous Spike J-Driller for a clean pinfall victory. MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - NO DISQUALIFICATIONLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with no disqualification and no time limit. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, making his way down the aisle, accompanied by SO CAL VAL, weighing in at 246 pounds, from Robbinsdale, Minnesota, “RAVISHING” RICK RUDE! And his opponent, weighing in at 235 pounds, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, he is your reigning NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion, BRET “THE HITMAN” HART!BRET "HITMAN" HART defeated RICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL) by submission(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The Hitman was at the top of his game tonight, dispatching Rude in dominant fashion. Hart took control early with his technical skill, forcing a frustrated Rude to leave the ring. When Val tried to interfere, Joe Kopasz had her escorted from the ring area! With the distraction gone, Hart turned up the intensity, torturing Rude with the ringpost figure-4. This brought CURT HENNIG to ringside to take up for Rude. Hennig managed to pry Hart away from the figure-4 before Hart nailed Hennig and send him tumbling out of the ring. PETEY WILLIAMS sprinted to the ring and engaged Hennig in a brawl, allowing Hart to wrap Rude into a painful Sharpshooter. With no way to escape and a brutally wounded knee, Rude was forced to tap out. Lance Russell: Wow! What a match for the Hitman. I don’t believe the outcome of that match was ever in question. Hart keeps control of his title in convincing fashion. Neither Rude nor Hennig could do anything about it. I bet Bret is glad to have Petey Williams watching his back. So there you have it, folks, two successful title matches, and a new Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Congratulations to A.J. Styles for capturing the gold. Thank you, fans, for joining us from Dayton tonight. We’ll be back Monday night with another exciting episode of Adrenaline. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #41 Mackey Arena, West Lafayette, Indiana April 2, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the latest edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you from the Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Indiana, home of the Purdue Boilermakers! In the wake of a fine pay-per-view event at Heartland Havoc VI, we are here tonight with a very special night of action. NWA World Heavyweight Champion DICK THE BRUISER is on hand tonight! Bruiser will be defending his title in our main event against our very own BRET “THE HITMAN” HART!Suddenly, Lance Russell’s microphone goes dead, even as he continues speaking. The crowd seems confused, then the sound system kicks on and another voice is heard throughout the arena.Voice: MISTERRRRRRRRR KENNEDY! Kennedy is seen in the center of the ring holding an old-style overhead microphone.Kennedy: KEN – NE - DY! Ladies and gentlemen, NWA Heartland is proud to present to you the debut match of the man who will single-handedly change the face of professional wrestling. Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, standing six feet, three inches tall, at a magnificently chiseled 245 pounds, he is the uncrowned champion of the National Wrestling Alliance, MISTERRRRRRR KENNEDY! KEN – NE – DYYYYYY! Kennedy releases the microphone and remains in the center of the ring, self-absorbed, as the mike is pulled back up into the rafters. The music “Big Time” by Peter Gabriel, fills the arena as BUFF BAGWELL enters the ring and immediately begins brawling with Kennedy! Heather Owens scrambles to the ring and calls for the bell!MR. KENNEDY pinned BUFF BAGWELL(Referee: Heather Owens) A top-quality match for both men in Kennedy's debut! The match was back-and-forth throughout, with Bagwell taking control late in the contest. But Kennedy took all of Bagwell's best shots and kept coming back. Kennedy finally turned the tide, propelling himself off the ropes with an incredible flying cross-body-block and stunning Bagwell for the pinfall! Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! Does this guy know how to make his presence known, or what? I gotta hand it to the guy, I have been wanting to shut Lance Russell up for months now! CARLITO (w/ MELINA) pinned CHRIS SABIN(Referee: Brady Boone) Another highly competitive contest between two athletic youngsters. In the end, the strength of Carlito prevailed, as he crushed Sabin with a powerful DDT and defeated him cleanly. THE MASTERS OF SUBMISSION (SAMOA JOE & TAZ w/ TRACY BROOKS) defeated THE PRINCES OF DANGER (BJ WHITMER & RODERICK STRONG w/ ALLISON DANGER)(Referee: Danny Davis) In a marathon match lasting nearly 45 minutes, Joe and Taz finally wore down BJ and Strong. It was Samoa Joe who did the bulk of the damage, finally forcing Strong to tap out to the Coquina Clutch. Lance Russell: Wow! What a competitive match! That has to be one of the finest tag matches the Heartland has ever seen. You have to congratulate both teams for a hard-fought contest. I am worn out just watching those two teams compete. Let’s take a break! Be sure and stop by the Heartland Souvenir Stand while you are away. DWIGHT SCHULTZ, also known as “Captain ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock” from the A-Team, is here tonight signing autographs! You won’t want to miss this special guest appearance. ***INTERMISSION***CHRIS HERO pinned CURT HENNIG (w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Heather Owens) Hero and Hennig appeared evenly matched in the early stages of the match. As the match progressed, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI came to the ring with his briefcase and began chatting with So Cal Val. Val, sensing the wealth of Claudio, was taken with the Swedish banker and began to flirt with him. Hennig lost focus, yelling at Val, allowing Hero to connect with the Hero Sandwich and score a quick pinfall! After the match, Hennig continued to berate Val for her inattentiveness, but Val continued to focus her attention on Claudio. As Hennig became more irate, RICK RUDE came to ringside and pulled Hennig into a private conversation. Rude spoke calmly to Hennig, and seemed to gesture with his thumb and fingers, rubbing them together as if to indicate an interest in Claudio and his cash. Hennig remained upset over the defeat, but eventually left with Rude. Val took the arms of both Claudio and Hero and left the arena with a wink and a smile.HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHCHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned BRYAN DANIELSON(Referee: Brady Boone) Two of the Heartland's top technicians squared off with a title shot on the line. Danielson, despite a heavily bandaged left knee, controlled the early action, stunning Daniels with a Roaring Elbow to take control. The Dragon continued to work Daniels over with Mixed Martial Arts elbows and suplexes, and seemed to have things firmly under control. At this point, Allison Danger climbed to the ring apron. As Daniels distracted Brady Boone, Allison grabbed Danielson by the back of the neck and snapped his head throat-first across the top rope! Danielson went down hard, and Daniels took control, going immediately to the Best Moonsault Ever. Danielson kicked out, but Daniels was relentless, dominating the match from this point forward and scoring a clean pinfall after a powerbomb. Mark Madden: An excellent performance by both these two contenders. Even after losing the Midwest Title, Christopher Daniels is still one of the top competitors in the entire NWA. And soon, we’ll see him step into the ring with one of the all-time greats, BRET HART, in a match for the Heartland Heavyweight Title! The match will be epic, no two ways about it! Now, let’s see how Hart can fare against the dominant man in all the NWA, World Champion DICK “THE BRUISER”.MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is your current Heartland Heavyweight Champion, BRET “THE HITMAN” HART! And his opponent, weighing in at 260 pounds, and hailing from Reno, Nevada, he is the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion, he is DICK THE BRUISER!BRET "HITMAN" HART defeated DICK THE BRUISER by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Bruiser was his usual brawling self, pummeling the Hitman from pillar to post. Hart held his own, and returned fire when he could, but it was an uphill battle. The brawling continued in one-sided fashion, but Bruiser couldn't put Hart away. Out of frustration, or perhaps boredom, Bruiser finally pitched the Hitman over the top rope. Adhering to the strict NWA Championship rules, Joe Kopasz called for the bell and awarded the match to the Hitman. In spite of the decision, there was no question who the better man was on this occasion. Lance Russell: Wow! This Bruiser is all man and a yard wide. Once again, he took the best the Heartland has to offer and delivered a beating. Hitman was lucky to get out of there alive! That caps off a great night of action, fans. We’ve seen some truly competitive matches this evening. The Heartland action keeps getting better and better! We’ll be back on Friday night with another episode of Fury, and it will be an evening of fury indeed! Our main event will feature a confrontation which has long been brewing as RICK STEINER goes to war with HERNANDEZ. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #42 Roberts Stadium, Evansville, Indiana April 6, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to another edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live with an exciting card of wrestling action. My usual broadcast colleague, MARK MADDEN, is not at the announce table tonight, but has promised us a special announcement from his office back in Dayton. We'll cover that announcement for you live later in the broadcast. Instead, I am delighted to be joined here by the lovely and talented LILLIAN GARCIA.Lillian Garcia: Why thank you, Lance, you flatter me! I am pleased to be here with you tonight. I have been given the night off from ring announcer duties, since our main event will be more non-traditional and more intense than usual. RICK STEINER and HERNANDEZ will be squaring off in a Texas Death Match! Lance Russell: Good thinking, Lillian. You don't need to be anywhere near that match. No rules, no disqualifications, no holds barred. The hatred between these two is long and it is deep. That match will not be for the faint at heart. But we have a terrific undercard on tap for tonight, so let's get to the ring for our first match! SAMOA JOE (w/ TRACY BROOKS) pinned EUGENE(Referee: Danny Davis) Eugene hung in against Joe longer than expected, at one point hitting a People's Elbow! Joe finally took over on Eugene, stunning him with an enzuigiri, then nailing him with a suicide tope to score the victory. HOMICIDE defeated BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN) by disqualification(Referee: Heather Owens) Two volatile personalities clashed in this match, and it didn't take long for the action to get out of control. Studd and Homicide brawled outside the ring, despite Heather Owens' best efforts to keep control. When Studd slammed Homicide head-first into the steel ring steps, Heather was forced to call for the bell and disqualify the giant Studd. Studd was enraged, but Woman prevented him from going after Heather. Homicide, picking his battles wisely, left the ring area without incident. Following the decision, an angry Studd took the microphone.Studd: Blast it! Woman! You need to step it up, little lady! I’m paying you to help me win matches. It’s your job to deal with these dimwit blonde referees- and instead, you’re out here PROTECTING her and costing me a victory. You need to worry less about those daggone redneck Briscoe Brothers and take better care of the crown jewel of this dynasty. You hear me, Woman? Lillian Garcia: Lance, I thought Nancy did the right thing. We can’t have 400-pound wrestlers going after 120-pound referees. Heather took control of that situation and did a good job. She made the right call! THE IRISH AIRBORNE defeated NIGEL MCGUINESS & BRYAN DANIELSON by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) For the majority of this match, it was a hard-fought athletic competition between familiar foes, given the long history between McGuiness and the Airborne. As the match progressed, the intensity level rose. The Airborne turned it up a notch, flooring Nigel with a double-team wheelbarrow spinebuster. Danielson tagged in and also found himself on the receiving end of an Airborne double-team. Angered, Danielson tied up Dave Crist in the ropes and began pummeling him with forearm blows. When Brady Boone attempted to intervene, Danielson shoved him aside. The no-nonsense Boone immediately stopped the match and disqualified Danielson. After the match, McGuiness appeared to be frustrated with Danielson. The two partners exchanged words before McGuiness walked away in disgust.Lance Russell: Wow! It has really been an emotional night here on Fury. First we see Studd lose his head, and now it looks like Danielson and McGuiness are headed for a meltdown. What will happen next? Let’s go to a break now. Be sure to check out the Heartland Concession Stand during our intermission. In honor of our trip to Evansville, we’re having a special tonight on Purple Slurpees. Get ‘em while they are cold! ***INTERMISSION***Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Friday Night Fury! At this time, we will take you back to NWA Heartland Headquarters in Dayton, Ohio, where Mark Madden is standing by with a special edition of “Mark My Words”. Mark Madden: Thank you, Lillian. Fans of the Heartland and throughout the NWA, it has been my distinct honor to take a stand for the integrity of the NWA and for the history of this great sport. If Tommy Dreamer wants to call me a piece of crap, so be it! But under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will I apologize for any of my comments regarding the XU promotion or any of its garbage wrestling antics. The Sandman? That drunken slob is an embarrassment to the NWA. Tommy Dreamer? A crazed maniac. At this point, I could care less which one of his frozen turds Kanter wants to throw in as the third man on his team. No, Marc Kanter, I will NOT apologize for my comments. But I will do you one better. If the Heartland team loses at Spring Stampede, I will attend Xtreme Showcase on April 18. And I will personally climb into the ring, face to face, man to man, for five minutes, against Tommy Dreamer! Mark my words! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! I don’t believe it! Mark Madden has just offered to climb into the ring with Tommy Dreamer if Heartland loses the big match at Spring Stampede. Love him or hate him, you have to admire the way the Madden stands up for his beliefs. But in this case, you have to wonder whether the guy has more guts than brains. I can’t wait to see how this will play out. Let’s go back to the ring for more NWA Heartland wrestling action! KONNAN defeated AUSTIN ARIES by submission (Referee: Danny Davis) Konnan took control of this match from the outset, overpowering Aries. The flamboyant Austin never mounted any serious offense, falling prey to the Tequila Sunrise in a surprisingly decisive contest. Lillian Garcia: What a match! Konnan really showed some skill to gain a decisive win over a tough opponent. He is working his way toward a title match if he continues to climb the ladder. And now, it’s time for the main event. This will be a Texas Death Match between RICK STEINER and HERNANDEZ. This promises to be brutal! I made it clear to Lance and everybody back stage that I was not going anywhere near that ring with these two monsters. So let the battle begin! MAIN EVENT: TEXAS DEATH MATCHHERNANDEZ pinned RICK STEINER(Referee: Joe Kopasz) After the injuries to his brother and to Nikita Koloff, Rick was loaded for bear for this grudge match. Rick tore into Hernandez with a fury, pounding away at his head with a flurry of punches. Hernandez went down, and Rick quickly grabbed a bullrope and wrapped it around Hernandez' neck. The Evansville crowd gasped as Steiner threw Hernandez over the top rope, hanging him over the edge of the ring! Hernandez squirmed and struggled, finally working his feet onto the apron to relieve the pressure, then nailed Steiner with a back elbow and managed to free himself. Hernandez dropped to the floor, buying time, and went into his tights for a set of brass knuckles. As Steiner followed him to the floor, Hernandez turned and drilled Rick with the knucks, stunning him and busting him open! Hernandez pounded away at Steiner, opening a huge gash across the forehead before Steiner was able to pull away. As Hernandez pursued him, Rick picked up a ball bat and surprised Hernandez with a hard shot to the rib cage! Hernandez doubled over and dropped to his knees, but managed to drive the knucks into Steiner's abdomen and both men went down, gasping. Steiner reached his feet first and rolled back into the ring, trying to bring the fight back to a more traditional wrestling encounter. As Hernandez followed, Rick drilled him with a Steiner Line! Hernandez flew in one direction and the brass knucks went the other. Steiner followed up quickly, executing a flurry of suplexes and clotheslines to gain control of the match. Hernandez barely staggered to his feet, and Rick crushed him with a powerful Steiner Line, sending him sprawling across the ring! Exhausted and covered in blood, Steiner was slow to follow up. Hernandez managed to remove his boot and smash Steiner across the face with it as he returned! With Steiner down, Hernandez took his revenge, picking up the bullrope and wrapping it around Steiner's neck. Hernandez dragged Steiner to the ropes and hurled him over the top, hanging him with the bullrope! Steiner gasped and sputtered, but Hernandez was too weak to keep Steiner's weight hanging for more than a few moments. Hernandez collapsed weakly, dropping the bullrope. Steiner fell to the concrete floor, landing awkwardly on his left knee. Fans at ringside gasped when they saw Rick's knee buckle beneath him. Hernandez lay in the ring, breathless, as Steiner writhed and clutched his knee. Joe Kopasz laid down the count on both men. Steiner managed to get to his feet at seven and roll back into the ring. Hernandez made it up at eight, catching Steiner as he staggered to his feet. Using the last of his strength, Hernandez lifted Steiner into the air and slammed him to the mat with a powerful Megabomb! Steiner was drilled into the canvas and lay motionless. Hernandez collapsed on top, and Joe Kopasz counted the pin and immediately called for stretchers for both men. Lance Russell: Goodness gracious! What a bloodbath. You just knew that the situation between Steiner and Hernandez was about to explode. It looks like neither man will be able to leave here on his own power. Hernandez is your victor in this Texas Death match, but I am not sure you could declare either man a “winner”. We’ll check on the health of both of these men and keep you updated throughout the week. Fans, thank you for joining us in Evansville for this edition of Friday Night Fury. We’ll be back Monday with an all-new episode of Adrenaline. Our main event will be a title defense for the new Midwest Heavyweight Champion, A. J. STYLES, as he defends the belt against RODERICK STRONG. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia here in Evansville, and for Mark Madden back home in Dayton, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #43 Joyce Center, South Bend, Indiana April 9, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening fans, and welcome to tonight’s broadcast of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from South Bend, Indiana, with an exciting night of action! Our main event this evening is for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship, pitting the newly crowned champion AJ STYLES against the up-and-coming challenger, RODERICK STRONG. But before we go to the matches, we have a special update from Lillian Garcia regarding the condition of both the combatants in the brutal Texas Death Match we saw last week on Fury. Lillian? Lillian Garcia: Thank you, Lance. I am afraid I have some bad news about both the men involved in that contest. First off, HERNANDEZ suffered a punctured lung, and is expected to be out of action for the next 4-6 weeks. In his place, DAVE CRIST has signed to take on DELIRIOUS in tonight’s opening bout. RICK STEINER also suffered a severe knee injury, but he is expected to be here tonight in spite of his condition. Back to you, Lance. Lance Russell: That is unfortunate news indeed, Lillian. It just goes to show what can happen in this business when passions run hot. Now let’s go to the ring for our first match! DELIRIOUS defeated DAVE CRIST by disqualification(Referee: Heather Owens) Filling in on short notice, Dave looked sharp in his singles debut, nailing Delirious with a springboard dropkick and scoring several near-falls. Delirious finally regained his bearings, fighting back and hurling Dave to the floor. Dave grabbed Delirious by the ankles and dragged him out of the ring where the brawl continued. Dave got the best of the action, ramming Delirious into the security railing. Dave, the fans, and even Delirious were stunned when Heather Owens called for the bell and awarded the match to Delirious by disqualification. Mark Madden: What a crock! I can’t say I am surprised. Heather Owens is incompetent to begin with, and to make matters worse, she has history with the Crist Brothers. It’s no shock that she DQ’ed Dave at the first opportunity. I am disgusted! THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI & CHRIS HERO w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated RICK STEINER & EUGENE(Referee: Brady Boone) Steiner wrestled with a heavily bandaged knee, and was clearly less than 100%. The shrewd Kings took advantage, beating down Eugene to force Steiner into the contest. Rick was no match for the teamwork of the Kings, who quickly took control. Eugene saved Rick from one pinning predicament, but was unable to get back into the ring as the Kings pinned Rick after the KRS-1. SAMOA JOE (w/ TRACY BROOKS) defeated KONNAN by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) Samoa Joe was at the top of his game tonight, dispatching Konnan with a Coquina Clutch to advance to a number one contenders' match! Lance Russell: Wow! A dominant performance by Joe, taking out one of the Heartland’s toughest competitors, and barely breaking a sweat! Joe will take on the winner of the bout between CHRIS HERO and RODERICK STRONG for a shot at the gold! That will bring us to intermission, folks. Be sure and check out the Heartland Concession Stand during the break. Our special tonight is Killian’s Irish Red and an Irish Sausage Sandwich. It ain’t German, it ain’t Polish, but it is sausage, and that’s good enough for Notre Dame graduate and Heartland Championship Committee Member MIKE GOLIC, who will be signing autographs tonight! Following the break, Mark Madden will be back with a pair of special announcements about the upcoming NWA Spring Stampede! ***INTERMISSION***Mark Madden: Good evening, fans of the Heartland. It has been a busy week! But I am excited, and honored, to represent the Heartland and defend the honor of the NWA at the upcoming Spring Stampede. First off, I am excited to announce the Heartland match for the Supercard. In a special challenge match, two of the finest competitors the Heartland has to offer will square off in what promises to be a showcase of top quality wrestling action. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS will take on Midwest Heavyweight Champion A.J. STYLES with the title on the line! And finally, folks, the moment you have all been waiting for. After hours of negotiating, phone calls, faxes, and text messaging, the deal is done. The man who will join BATISTA and CARLITO as the third member of Team Heartland has been chosen. This man is an intense competitor, and a true honor to the sport of professional wrestling. He also happens to be the XU Heavyweight Champion, SENSHI!Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a shocker! Madden, you have really outdone yourself this time. First, you invade Kanter’s territory, and then you sign his Heavyweight Champion to team with Batista and Carlito to take on the XU boys. Best of luck to you, pal, especially if you wind up in the ring with Tommy Dreamer at the end of the match. Should be a great card! GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATIONRICK RUDE & CURT HENNIG (w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated PETEY WILLIAMS & BUFF BAGWELL(Referee: Brady Boone) Bagwell took matters into his own hands in his feud with Rick Rude, attacking the Ravishing One before the opening bell. Rude and Bagwell fought all over the arena, as Val shrieked and squealed. Meanwhile, Petey and Hennig squared off in the ring, with stright-laced referee Brady Boone focusing his attention on the legal men. Hennig took control quickly with a rolling neck snap, then delivered the Axe to a stunned Petey and pinned him. Meanwhile, Bagwell and Rude continued to brawl throughout the stands, finally being pulled apart by Rene Goulet and Tony Garea with the help of local rent-a-cops and indy wrestlers dressed in security T-shirts. Hennig left the ring with a smirk. Petey watched the action for a few moments, then shrugged his shoulders and returned to the locker room. Mark Madden: How about that! Bagwell and Rude are nowhere near finished with each other, but I think Petey is done with Bagwell as a partner. “MR. BIG TIME” is far too hung up on Val to be a reliable partner. He’s almost as hooked on Val as Petey is hooked on BRET HART. Let’s get on to the main event! MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: And now, ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit, and is for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER, weighing in at 220 pounds and hailing from Detroit, Michigan, he is the Messiah of the Backbreaker, RODERICK STRONG!And his opponent, from Gainesville, Georgia, weighing in at 215 pounds, he is your current Midwest Heavyweight Champion, “THE PHENOMENAL” A. J. STYLES!RODERICK STRONG (w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated A. J. STYLES to win the Midwest Title!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) What might have been an exciting and athletic contest ended in controversy, with a new Midwest Champion! Strong came into the match with a game plan, keeping Styles grounded and wearing him down with superior technique. Styles was able to score a couple of aerial manuvers, but could not get the momentum to inflict major damage. Strong was pitched out of the ring twice, but both times made it back inside before AJ could go to the air. As the match progressed, WOMAN came to ringside, drawing the ire of her rival Allison. Woman took up a conversation with referee Kopasz, trying to influence him to call the match in AJ's favor. AJ tried to maintain his focus, clearly wanting to settle the competition with Strong straight up. As the conversation continued, Allison Danger was drawn in, confronting Woman and screaming at her to leave the ring area. Woman continued to negotiate with Kopasz, refusing to leave. This finally brought CHRISTOPHER DANIELS to the ring. Daniels, a former Midwest champion and formerly managed by Woman, joined with Allison in ushering Woman out of the ring area. As the match continued, Styles finally hurled Strong to the ring floor and went for the Senton Splash to the ring floor. Daniels pulled Strong out of the way, sending AJ crashing to the ring floor. Strong alertly pulled AJ back into the ring and latched on the Stronghold. Unable to free himself, AJ was forced to tap out! Woman was infuriated to see Allison triumph, and had to be physically restrained from going after Allison. Lance Russell: No! You have got to be kidding me! I can’t believe that A. J. lost his title that way! After signing the match with Daniels at Stampede- he comes out and gets double-crossed that way! I am disgusted. I hope Commissioner York sets this straight- the sooner the better! Well, folks, that’s it for tonight. I wish we could end this show on a happier note. Heartland is taking a brief hiatus after tonight’s show in order to make a good showing at Spring Stampede. We’ll be back in action soon with more great wrestling! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

Mark My Words April 20, 2007 Mark Madden: Greetings, fans of the Heartland! It is great to be back in action after a tremendous showing by the boys from the Heartland at Spring Stampede. We have a lot of ground to cover with today's update, so let's get down to business! First off, it is my privilege to congratulate BRET "THE HITMAN" HART on capturing the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! Bret has been a tremendous champion in Heartland and a man who will represent the NWA well. Bret will be missed here, but his career is now committed to the ultimate task of defending the most prestigious belt in the business. Furthermore, I must also congratulate the team of BATISTA and CARLITO for an outstanding victory at Spring Stampede. We are all proud of the way that you fellows took it to the FROZEN TURDS and brought honor to the NWA. I was ready to take a beating for speaking my mind, but I had complete confidence in Team Heartland to get the job done. And it is with great pleasure that I welcome the Heartland's newest superstar, SENSHI, to the territory! Senshi will be taking Hart's place on the roster, and I couldn't think of a better man to fill that slot. Welcome aboard, fearless warrior! Next, an important announcement from the Promoter of NWA Heartland, the esteemed DAVE LITTLE. First off, I would like to wish Dave a happy 43rd birthday! As all you fans know, Dave has been on the road to Chicago, Illinois. ( www.uic.edu/depts/oaa/nca/index.html ) While doing his real job, our industrious promoter found time to negotiate with GOVERNOR ROD BLAGOJEVICH, and in an exciting development, NWA Heartland is expanding its territory to include the great state of Illinois! We'll be running shows in great towns like Peoria, Urbana, Rockford, and in Chicago itself in the very near future. This promises to be a great opportunity for the NWA to widen its borders! Next on the agenda, I have a special interview segment prepared earlier today with Heartland superstar NIGEL McGUINESS. Nigel, what's on your mind? Nigel McGuiness appears on-screen behind Madden.Nigel McGuiness: Thank you, Mr. Madden, for allowing me this time, and congratulations on your success at Spring Stampede. I want to discuss the trade rumors coming from NWA Northeast. To make this short but sweet, I have four words: Been There, Done That! I agreed to go to work for the same promoter earlier this year. I went to the cold Northeast and I sat on my bum for weeks and weeks without wrestling a single match. Until that bloody idiot proves to me that he can produce quality shows on a consistent basis, I will not work for him again! Mark Madden: Wow! Strong words from Nigel. I can't say that I blame him. I have it on good authority from Commissioner ALEXANDRA YORK that none of our boys will be going to the Northeast until there is some good action being promoted up there. Not Nigel, and certainly not RODERICK STRONG, who now holds the Midwest Heavyweight Title. Finally fans, be sure to check out the Heartland as we return to action tonight! Friday Night Fury will be brought to you live from Muncie, Indiana. Our main event will be a contest for the NWA National Heavyweight Championship! Newly crowned champion RAVEN will be defending his title against the Heartland's own A.J. STYLES. A. J. is coming off a major victory at Spring Stampede and has plenty of momentum heading into tonight's title match. Also tonight, we should be getting a special announcement from the Heartland Championship Committee about the vacant Heavyweight Championship. So, be there tonight and you will be treated to some top NWA Heartland action... MARK MY WORDS!

NWA Heartland Card #44 Worthen Arena, Muncie, Indiana April 20, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to another episode of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Muncie, Indiana, the home of Ball State University! It’s great to be back in action after a wonderful card at Spring Stampede. We have a lot of great wrestling in store for you tonight, including two important contests with championship implications. In our main event, the NWA National Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as A. J. STYLES gets his shot against the newly crowned champion RAVEN. A. J. earned this shot at the belt with a hard-fought win over CHRISTOPHER DANIELS at Spring Stampede. We’ll see how our man does tonight in his title match against one of the hard-core icons in this business. For more on our other special match tonight, we take you to a special announcement from Heartland Commissioner ALEXANDRA YORK.Alexandra York appears on the Titantron, seated at her stately mahogany desk.Alexandra York: Thank you, Lance. It is always a privilege to be interviewed by the finest announcer in the wrestling business. First of all, I must congratulate BRET “THE HITMAN” HART for becoming the first Heartland wrestler to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! We wish Bret all the best as he goes on the road to defend the championship. As for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship, that title is now vacant. In consultation with the Heartland Championship Committee, we will be conducting an eight-man tournament to determine a new champion! Seven names have already been selected for entry into the tournament. These names will be announced at a later date. The eighth participant will be selected tonight! The winner of tonight’s match between CHRIS HERO and RODERICK STRONG will be entered into the championship tournament! Now, let’s get to the ring and get the action started! BJ WHITMER (w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated NIGEL McGUINESS by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) McGuiness completely dominated this match, keeping BJ off-balance with his unorthodox style. But the resilient Whitmer took everything Nigel could dish out, surviving seven near-falls before turning the tables on McGuiness. Nigel missed a charge into the turnbuckle and crashed shoulder-first, putting BJ in the driver's seat. BJ hurled McGuiness out of the ring, hoping to inflict some punishment, but Nigel whipped him hard into the steel ring post. Despite the warnings of Joe Kopasz, McGuiness continued to pound on Whitmer and was disqualified by Kopasz. After the decision, Nigel angrily confronted Joe Kopasz, slapping the Senior Referee during the dispute.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Nigel has got to keep his temper better than that! I wouldn’t be surprised if the Heartland officials come down hard on Nigel for that misdeed. CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned PETEY WILLIAMS(Referee: Brady Boone) Claudio made quick work of his smaller Canadian Foe and pinned him decisively after the Ricola Bomb. RICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned MATT SYDAL(Referee: Heather Owens) This match started with a flurry by Sydal, catching Rude off-guard with a slew of arm drags into a dragon screw leg whip and a massive corner lariat. Rude finally came to his senses, powering out of an attempted monkey flip and delivering a massive clothesline. Sydal spun in six different directions before coming to rest on the canvas. Rude followed with a spinning neckbreaker, which was merely academic as he covered Sydal for the pinfall. Lance Russell: Two more matches, two more convincing victories for So Cal Val and her men. They are certainly gaining momentum here in the Heartland! Let’s go to intermission now. I am pleased to announce a very special guest appearance at the Heartland Souvenir Stand. Signing autographs tonight is the newest Heartland superstar, SENSHI! Be sure to get a glossy and shake hands with the warrior during the break. When we return, we’ll hear from Mark Madden. *** INTERMISSION ***The second half of the card begins with Mark Madden entering the ring to a roaring ovation from the Heartland fans. Madden is decked out in a Hawaiian shirt, drinking a martini and smoking a Cuban cigar.Mark Madden: Ladies and gentlemen… HEARTLAND ROCKS!!! Congratulations to our boys for their victory over the FROZEN TURDS at Spring Stampede. Let’s hear it for our boys, BATISTA and CARLITO!The fans cheer wildly.Madden: And let’s give a warm welcome to the Heartland’s newest superstar… SENSHI !!!Senshi, it’s great to have you here in the Heartland. Your talent was clearly being wasted in that promotion up north. We’re all looking forward to your in-ring debut. And Marc Kanter, good luck with your second-class promotion. I hear you lost the lease on your bingo hall. What a shame! BATISTA & CARLITO (w/ MELINA) defeated LAX (HOMICIDE & KONNAN) by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) The team of Batista, Carlito, and Melina returned to a hero's welcome after the triumph at Spring Stampede. SENSHI accompanied the team to the ring and stood by Melina at ringside. The undermanned LAX, working without HERNANDEZ, took the fight to their opponents in typical LAX fashion. Homicide and Batista engaged in a fierce brawl, with the powerful Batista taking control. Before long, the fight spilled out of the ring. As Batista began to prevail, a commotion arose in the locker room and suddenly THE BRISCOE BROTHERS stormed the ring! Jay and Mark, accompanied by WOMAN, attacked Batista and Carlito! Soon, LAX and the Briscoes were pummeling Batista and Carlito! Senshi shielded Melina from the fracas, shoving Konnan away. As Homicide battled Carlito, the Briscoes took over on Batista! Working together, the brothers hurled Batista into the ring post, then lifted the ring steps and slammed them onto his left knee! Batista hollered in pain as the Briscoes scattered back to the locker room. Senshi and Carlito fought off the members of LAX and driove them back to the locker room as Melina kneeled over the injured Batista, shrieking. Grimacing and favoring his left leg, Batista refused medical attention, but needed to be helped back to the locker room by Carlito and Senshi.Woman remained at the top of the ramp, grabbing a microphone and screeching at Melina.Woman: NO! NEVER! Melina, you may think your team is hot stuff, but my Briscoes own this territory! We will not rest until you and your team are out of commission! You’re no heroes! You’re zeroes! I promise we will put you in your place! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! I can’t believe it. One of the finest moments in the history of Heartland wrestling, but Woman refuses to be upstaged. What a petty, jealous shrew she is. I am disgusted! Blast it! Well, at least we have our double main event to look forward to. Let’s see the match-up for our first entrant into the Heartland Heavyweight Championship tournament, as CHRIS HERO takes on Midwest Champion RODERICK STRONG in a non-title match. CHRIS HERO (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned RODERICK STRONG (w/ ALLISON DANGER)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The surprising Chris Hero grabbed the eighth and final spot in the heavyweight championship tournament with a hard-fought win over Roderick Strong. Strong appeared to have the advantage after connecting on a powerful backbreaker, but Hero deftly countered a whip to the turnbuckle and nailed Strong with an awesome running clothesline! Stunned, Strong was easy prey for the Hero's Welcome and it was all over. MAIN EVENT: NWA NATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the NWA National Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, the challenger, from Gainesville, Georgia, weighing in at 215 pounds, he is “THE PHENOMENAL” A. J. STYLES!And his opponent is your current NWA National Heavyweight Champion. Hailing from The Bowery, weighing in at 245 pounds, here is RAVEN!A. J. STYLES pinned RAVEN to capture the National Heavyweight Title!(Referee: Danny Davis) History made in Muncie, Indiana! A. J. Styles stunned the NWA by defeating Raven to win the National Heavyweight Championship. Raven appeared to have the early advantage, repeatedly hitting Styles with the discus clothesline and keeping him grounded. Styles finally cut loose, surprising Raven with a springboard forearm strike! Raven managed to kick out, but Styles kept after his man, nailing him with the Styles Clash and scoring a clean pinfall victory to capture the belt! Lance Russell: Wow! What a performance by A. J. Styles! The Phenomenal One has captured the National Heavyweight Championship! What a great week it has been in the Heartland. Team Heartland wins the showdown at Spring Stampede, AND Bret Hart brings home the World Championship! And to top it all off, A. J. Styles captures the National Heavyweight Championship. I can state without hesitation that Heartland Wrestling is at the center of the wrestling universe. Fans, we thank you for joining us on tonight’s episode of Friday Night Fury. We’ll be back on Monday with another episode of Adrenaline. We expect to reveal the bracket for the Heavyweight Championship tournament. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #45 Metro Centre, Rockford, Illinois April 24, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the great state of Iliinois! I am so proud of our fine promoter, Dave Little, for expanding the horizons of this great territory. Tonight we come to you live from Rockford, Illinois with an exciting night of action. Our main event will pit BJ WHITMER against BRYAN DANIELSON, with a shot at the NWA World X-Division Championship on the line! But before we go to the ring, Mark Madden has some special announcements on behalf of the Heartland Championship Committee. Mark Madden: Thank you, Lance. I have good news and bad news. First, the bad news. Following his actions last Friday night in Muncie, NIGEL McGUINESS has been suspended for the next two weeks. But now, the good news - the Championship Committee has been hard at work organizing the Heartland Heavyweight Championship tournament. Tonight we will be bringing you a pair of first-round match-ups. First, we'll see DELIRIOUS square off against CARLITO. Following that, RICK RUDE will take on STING! Let's get to the ring and get the action started. BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN) defeated AUSTIN ARIES by submission(Referee: Heather Owens) Studd was dominant in dismantling Aries in methodical fashion, finishing the smaller opponent with a massive shoulder breaker. SENSHI (w/ MELINA) pinned BUFF BAGWELL(Referee: Danny Davis) The former World Champion Bagwell started quickly, but Senshi mounted an impressive comeback and pinned Bagwell with a Ki Krusher to win his Heartland debut match. After the match, the intense Senshi stood over Bagwell, glowering. Bagwell angrily got to his feet and hurled Senshi to the floor outside the ring. Senshi appeared to fall awkwardly on his left wrist, favoring it as he headed back to the dressing room with Melina.Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! What a debut for Senshi! I knew this guy was headed for stardom. I hope his wrist is okay. Melina has been through a rough patch of luck here with Batista going down and now Senshi getting dinged up in his first match. Let's see if Carlito can fare any better. Suddenly, the arena goes dark! The eerie music of DELIRIOUS comes over the sound system as colored spotlights swirl around the fans. The masked lunatic slides into the ring, his streamers flowing around Melina as she appears baffled. Delirious quickly dashes in and out of the ring, coming to rest in the corner, squatting and staring into space. Clearly shaken, Melina strides to the corner in front of Delirious and shrieks loudly! When Delirious remains motionless, Melina shrieks again at the top of her lungs. Finally, CARLITO enters the ring and moves Melina to the apron. Just as Carlito re-enters the ring, Delirious explodes out of the corner and the match is on!DELIRIOUS defeated CARLITO (w/ MELINA) by submission(Referee: Joe Kopasz) With Melina rendered largely ineffective, Delirious went to work against Carlito in a crisp, well-fought contest. After surviving a couple of backcrackers, Delirious got the momentum and nailed Carlito twice with the Chemical Imbalance #2. With Carlito reeling, Delirious locked in the Cobra Stretch and forced Carlito to tap out! Lance Russell: Wow! That Delirious is some character. The fans love him, but I am not convinced that this guy should be the face of the Heartland. He still has some stiff competition ahead if he wants to make it to the championship. Let’s go to a break now. Be sure to check out the Heartland Concession Stand while you are away! In appreciation for our first venture into the great state of Illinois, GOVERNOR ROB BLAGOJEVICH himself has sent some Chicago Cubs memorabilia! Who wouldn’t want an 8X10 glossy photo of LOU PINIELLA bearing the Governor’s autograph? ***INTERMISSION***STING defeated RICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL) by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) With so much at stake, this match between the two legends lived up to expectations. Sting and Rude battled inside the ring and out, until Sting caught the Ravishing One with a boot to the face as Rude charged into the turnbuckle. Sting capitalized with a leaping DDT, stunning Rude and setting him up for the Scorpion Deathlock. Lance Russell: What a competitive bout! Your man Sting comes out on top and moves to the semifinals of the Heartland Championship tournament! THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated THE MASTERS OF SUBMISSION (SAMOA JOE & TAZZ w/ TRACY BROOKS) by disqualification(Referee: Heather Owens) In a bizarre turn of events, Samoa Joe lost his cool in an important match and brutally assaulted Chris Hero, costing the Masters an opportunity for a title shot. After flattening Hero with a flying forearm off the top rope, Hero became tangled in the ropes. Joe's intensity got the best of him and he refused to allow Heather Owens to release Hero from his predicament. Joe shoved Heather to the mat and she called for the bell. Joe continued his assault on Hero, clotheslining him out of the ring! Hero fell awkwardly on his right ankle and was unable to get out of the ring area without assistance. After the match, Tazz and Joe had words, as Tazz was clearly upset over the loss of the match. Tracy tried to keep things together, but Tazz walked away in disgust.MAIN EVENT: NWA JUNIOR X TITLE #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit. The winner of this bout will receive a title match for the NWA Junior X-Division championship! Your referee for this contest is Brady Boone. Introducing first, weighing in at 190 pounds, from Aberdeen, Washington, the “AMERICAN DRAGON”, BRYAN DANIELSON! And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER, weighing in at 210 pounds and hailing from Alexandria, Kentucky, B. J. WHITMER!BRYAN DANIELSON defeated BJ WHITMER (w/ ALLISON DANGER) by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) Danielson was relentless in taking down Whitmer, barely allowing his foe to breathe. Danielson tied Whitmer up like a pretzel and pummelled him with elbow strikes and forearm smashes, and finally putting him away with the Cattle Mutilation. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Danielson was awesome in that match! I can't wait to see the match on Friday night when Danielson squares off with DYNAMITE KID for the Junior X Title! Fans, we thank you for joining us tonight. We hope you'll come back for Friday Night Fury from Carbondale, Illinois. In addition to the Junior X Title, we'll see the two more first-round matches in the Heartland Heavyweight Championship tournament. CHRIS HERO will take on CHRISTOPHER DANIELS, and SAMOA JOE will square off against NIKITA KOLOFF. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #46 Southern Illinois University Arena, Carbondale, Illinois April 27, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from The Southern Illinois University Arena in Carbondale, Illinois! We have a great night of action ahead, to be capped off by a special championship match! NWA Junior X-Division champion DYNAMITE KID is on hand tonight to defend his title against BRYAN DANIELSON! We are looking forward to what should be a great match-up, arguably the best wrestling match ever to take place in the town of Carbondale. Let's get to the action! CM PUNK pinned PETEY WILLIAMS(Referee: Danny Davis) Missing his mentor and idol BRET HART, Petey looked listless in this match and Punk took advantage. Punk dominated the action and pinned Petey after a bulldog. Mark Madden: How pathetic is that? Petey lost his hero, and now he can't fight his way out of a paper bag. These stinkin' Canadians are worthless! I hope the rest of the card is better than that travesty. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated CHRIS HERO (w/ SO CAL VAL) by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) Hero wrestled injured, his right ankle heavily taped after the confrontation with Samoa Joe in Rockford. Hero fought gamely against the Heartland's winningest wrestler, and pulled out every trick he could. The strict referee Brady Boone would not tolerate Hero's tactics, sending the action back into the ring. As Daniels took control, Hero desperately pitched him to the floor again and hurled him into the steel pole. Boone immediately called for the bell and awarded the match to Daniels via disqualification. After the match, Daniels angrily went after Hero and the two men brawled briefly on the concrete floor. Allison smartly pulled Daniels away, reminding him that there were more important matches ahead in the Heartland tournament. Daniels turned his back on Hero and returned to the locker room without further incident.Lance Russell: A tough break for Hero. After working so hard to make the tournament, he just didn't have enough to keep up with Daniels on a bad wheel. SAMOA JOE pinned NIKITA KOLOFF(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Joe took the fight to Nikita with a fury, controlling the action and pinning the big Russian with a musclebuster in under two minutes! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a match by Samoa Joe! The Submission Machine is the last man to join the Final Four in the championship tournament. You can guarantee it, he will definitely be a factor in the run for the title. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS, SAMOA JOE, STING, and DELIRIOUS are your final four, and a fine collection they are. Delirious would have to be considered your dark horse candidate, but any of the other three could easily come away with the belt. I can't wait to see how this tournament plays out. Now, fans, it's time to take a break and head for intermission. We have a special guest here in Carbondale tonight, signing autographs at the Heartland Souvenir Stand. Although she never graduated, she attended SIU and went on to become a Playmate of the Year! Stop by and say hello to the fabulous JENNY MCCARTHY!***INTERMISSION***THE IRISH AIRBORNE (JAKE & DAVE CRIST) defeated SENSHI & CARLITO (w/ MELINA) by disqualification(Referee: Heather Owens) The duo of Carlito and Senshi had a difficult time getting on the same page in their first match together. The Airborne took advantage, working together crisply. Dave and Jake nailed Senshi with the Irish Air Raid and Jake made the cover, prompting Carlito to enter the ring to attempt the pin save. But Heather would have none of the outside interference and immediately threw out the match and disqualified Carlito. After the match, an angry Carlito attacked Dave and a brawl developed. Before the action could escalate, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS stormed the ring and took up the fight with Carlito and Senshi. All six men battled up and down the aisles of the arena before Rene Goulet and his elite security forces could gain control of the fracas and send the brawlers back to the locker room.Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! The animosity between Melina's men and the Briscoe Brothers knows no bounds. It seems that Carlito and Senshi are more interested in brawling with the Briscoes than in taking the belts. As a result of that win, it will be the Airborne taking on the KINGS OF WRESTLING with a tag team title match on the line! MAIN EVENT: NWA JUNIOR X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This contest is for the NWA Junior X-Division Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from Aberdeen, Washington, weighing in at 190 pounds, THE AMERICAN DRAGON, BRYAN DANIELSON! And his opponent, is your reigning and defending Junior X-Division Champion. Hailing from Golborne, Lancashire, England, and weighing in at 217 pounds, THE DYNAMITE KID!DYNAMITE KID pinned BRYAN DANIELSON to retain the NWA Junior X-Division title(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The Kid and the Dragon went to battle in a closely fought contest. Both men excelled at counter wrestling in the early phases of the match with neither man gaining advantage. Danielson took control briefly with a surfboard, then wore down the Kid with a series of mixed martial arts elbows. Dynamite finally managed to fight back, hitting Danielson out of nowhere with a stunning snap suplex. Dynamite then floored the stunned Dragon with a neckbreaker drop, setting him up for the Diving Headbutt and a clean pinfall victory. Following the match, Danielson embraced the Kid and the two combatants left the ring together.Lance Russell: Wow! What a fine matchup between two outstanding competitors. A nice change of pace after the brawling and disqualifications we have seen. Both these men have earned the respect of the crowd here tonight, and deservedly so. In spite of all the tensions, we've had some important bouts tonight and we have some crucial contests ahead. Be sure to join us on Monday for another episode of Adrenaline, which will feature an intense grudge match! THE BRISCOE BROTHERS will be on hand for a non-title tag team match against CARLITO and SENSHI. WOMAN and MELINA have been at each other ever since Melina's team got the glory for their performance at Spring Stampede. We've already seen the passion between these teams, and next Monday they finally get to square off in the ring. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lilian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #47 US Cellular Arena Bloomington, Illinois Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the US Cellular Arena in Bloomington, Illinois! We are proud to bring you an exciting night of action with a very special main event! RODERICK STRONG is here tonight to defend his Midwest Heavyweight Championship against the dangerous HOMICIDE! Homicide and LAX have been terrorizing the Heartland in recent weeks, and now he has set his eyes on the Midwest title. You won't want to miss this one! Now let's get to the ring for the opening contest. BJ WHITMER (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Heather Owens) Whitmer went on the attack from the opening bell, taking control with an early flurry of high-impact manuvers. Val did her best to intervene, raking the eyes of BJ to give her man a brief advantage, but the hard-hitting Whitmer would not be denied. BJ went back on the offensive and pinned Claudio after a pair of Exploders. BRYAN DANIELSON defeated EUGENE by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) Danielson tied Eugene up in knots, despite his attempts to fight back. Perplexed, Eugene could not free himself from the Cattle Mutilation and was forced to tap out. Following the match, Danielson refused to released the hold! Eugene screamed and cried, but the Dragon was merciless. When Danny Davis tried to intervene, KONNAN dashed to the ring and prevented the referee from breaking the hold. A sickening "pop" was heard at ringside, and Eugene's screams turned frantic. Danielson finally laughed and released the hold as RICK STEINER charged the ring. Danielson quickly retreated, with Konnan close behind. Eugene had to be helped from the ring with assistance from Steiner.Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! Did Konnan just put out a hit on Eugene? He certainly picked the right guy to get it done. Danielson can tear a guy limb from limb, and I think Eugene is living proof. This LAX is one bunch of bad dudes, and anyone who crosses their path is in big trouble. And now, we will see another intense rivalry taking center stage as the BRISCOE BROTHERS take on CARLITO and SENSHI in a no disqualification showdown! NO DISQUALIFICATION GRUDGE MATCHTHE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) defeated CARLITO & SENSHI (w/ MELINA) by countout(Referee: Danny Davis) The action between the Briscoes and Melina's Army continued to intensify! All four men battled in a brutal match. The Briscoes had the upper hand until Melina stunned Mark with a vicious low blow! Mark took a pounding from both opponents before finally tagging out to Jay. Jay proceeded to hurl Carlito out of the ring and launch himself with a springboard flying bodypress! Both men hit the concrete hard as Danny Davis started the count. Mark and Senshi brawled outside the ring, and even Melina and Woman got into the action! Jay managed to roll back into the ring and beat the 10-count while Carlito remained on the floor, and Davis awarded the match to the Briscoes. The brawl continued with all four men and both managers pummelling each other all the way back to the locker room. Lance Russell: Wow! The bad blood between Woman and Melina runs deep, and both these teams will go to any length to establish their dominance. No doubt, we haven't seen the end of this situation. I believe we're ready for a break now. Be sure to stop by the Heartland Concession Stand while we are at intermission. In honor of our maiden voyage into Illinois, we're having a special today on Chicago Deep Dish Fried Asparagus. Get it while it's hot! ***INTERMISSION***CHRIS SABIN pinned MATT SYDAL(Referee: Heather Owens) In a spectacular match between two high-flying daredevils, Chris Sabin prevailed over Matt Sydal. Sabin started quickly, but Sydal survived the opening onslaught and took to the skies. Sydal delievered an amazing flurry of aerial attacks, connecting on a senton splash and a suicide tope to set Sabin reeling! Sydal brought the action back into the ring, but was unable to put Sabin away. Sabin smartly slowed the action down, grounding Sydal with a series of strikes, capped off by the Future Shock and a victory for Sabin. Mark Madden: What a match-up! These two high-flyers really brought the house down! And now, the time has come for two crucial matches. We have reached the semifinals of the Heartland Championship tournament. Our first semifinal will pit DELIRIOUS against CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. Please, please, oh please tell me that the title is not going to wind up around the waist of this goofball! CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned DELIRIOUS(Referee: Brady Boone) In another top-flight match, Delirious and Daniels went to war! Delirious started with a flurry, getting Daniels reeling and nailing him with the Shadows over Hell! But the Angel mounted a comeback, hurling Delirious out of the ring and nailing him with a corkscrew pescado! Delirious never regained his bearings after the blow, and Daniels capitalized, converting the Angel's Wings for the pinfall. MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit, and is for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, a member of the Latin-American Exchange. He hails from Brooklyn, New York and weighs in at 220 pounds. He is accompanied to the ring by KONNAN, this is HOMICIDE! And his opponent is your Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Weighing in at 220 pounds, from Detroit, Michigan, he is a member of the PRINCES OF DANGER. Accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER, here is RODERICK STRONG!HOMICIDE (w/ KONNAN) pinned RODERICK STRONG (w/ ALLISON DANGER) to capture the Midwest Heavyweight championship!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Homicide was relentless, attacking Strong from the opening bell and pounding away. Homicide tied Strong into the tree of woe and dropkicked him twice! Winded, Strong made the mistake of fleeing the ring, and Homicide wasted no time in smashing his head into the steel steps. Homicide then delivered Da Cop Killa twice to Strong and covererd him for a decisive pinfall victory! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! History made here in Bloomington! Homicide really took it to Strong and brought back the gold in dominant fashion. What a finish to a great card of action tonight. Fans, we thank you for joining us! Be sure to come back Friday night for our next big show. Newly crowned National Heavyweight Champion AJ STYLES will be back in the Heartland to defend his title against CARLITO. We'll also see the last semifinal in the Heavyweight Championship Tournament as SAMOA JOE takes on STING. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #48 Assembly Hall, Champaign, Illinois May 4, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight’s edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the campus of the University of Illinois with an exciting night of action. This is our last event heading into next week’s pay-per-view, and we have some important matches scheduled in preparation for the big event. Tonight’s feature match-up will be for the NWA Junior X-Division Championship, as DYNAMITE KID is on hand to defend his title against CARLITO. Let’s get it started! MR. KENNEDY pinned KONNAN(Referee: Heather Owens) After a hard-fought contest, Kennedy surprised Konnan with a slingshot into the steel post, and finished him with a spinning spinebuster slam. Mark Madden: Wow! You gotta love this guy Kennedy. He brings the intensity with every match. Even the LAX respects this man for his toughness. CURT HENNIG (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned DAVE CRIST(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Dave gave Hennig a tough battle, but timely interference by Val gave Hennig the opening to deliver the victory via a Hennig Plex. After the match, BUFF BAGWELL came to ringside and again approached Val, pleading to be taken back into the fold. Val spurned Bagwell’s approach, and Hennig stepped between. As Bagwell continued his appeal, RICK RUDE came from the rampway and blindsided Bagwell, and the two bitter enemies brawled around the ringside area as Hennig escorted Val to safety. As the brawling settled down, Rude called for a microphone.Rick Rude: Bagwell – you’re PATHETIC! Get over it! Val is not interested in you. You’re a second-rate wrestler, and you’re not half the man that I am. What would Val want with you, when she already has a real sexy man to be with? You’re nothing but a washed-up, out-of-shape Georgia jabroni! Enraged, Bagwell tried without success to push his way past the security guards to get after Rude, but was unable to do so. Bagwell grabbed a microphone of his own. Buff Bagwell: Shut up, Rude! I am a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion and you are just a piece of garbage! When I get my hands on you, you will get the worst beating of your life! I challenge you to a match at Havoc- in a STEEL CAGE! Rude: Oh, you want a piece of me? Baby, I will take you on any place, any time. I will see you at Havoc! Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! Get a load of that! Bagwell and Rude are going at it in a steel cage at Havoc! That match alone should be worth the price of admission. I think we’ll finally be able to get back to some action in the ring, where we have a fine tag-team matchup in store for you next. THE PRINCES OF DANGER (RODERICK STRONG & BJ WHITMER w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated LAX (HOMICIDE & KONNAN)(Referee: Brady Boone) The match got off to an intense start, with new Midwest champion Homicide squaring off against the former champ Strong. The two rivals battled around the ring, but settled nothing. Konnan and Whitmer tagged in, and it was Whitmer who took the measure of Konnan, dominating the action and wearing down Konnan badly. When Whitmer could not finish Konnan with an Exploder, he tagged in to Strong. Roderick delivered a flying body splash for the victory as Whitmer held off Homicide. Lance Russell: Beautiful teamwork for the Princes! Allison and her men did a fine job taking out the LAX. But you better believe that the Exchange will be back stronger and meaner than ever, once HERNANDEZ is recovered from his injuries. That will bring us to intermission. This would be a great opportunity for you all to visit the Heartland Souvenir Stand. Tonight, and tonight only, we have a special sale on Filsinger Games newest release, Promoter Madness! You won’t want to miss this exciting new addition to the Champions of the Galaxy series, featuring Dave Little’s own creation, DOCTOR PAYNE! ***INTERMISSION***Mark Madden: Okay, fans, we’re back! Hope you enjoyed the break. My, oh my, that NURSE ELIZABETH is one hot cartoon chick! But let’s get back to action. Our next match is the last semi-final contest in the Heartland Championship Tournament. The winner of this bout will earn a spot in the main event at the Havoc pay-per-view to take on CHRISTOPHER DANIELS and crown a new Heavyweight Champion! We have two of the icons of the Heartland set to square off as SAMOA JOE will take on STING!SAMOA JOE defeated STING by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) Sting took control early in the match and pummelled Joe with clotheslines and bulldogs. Joe survived numerous pin attempts, and finally turned things around by ducking away from the Stinger Splash. Sting smacked hard into the turnbuckle and Joe rolled him into the Coquina Clutch. Sting was unable to escape and was forced to tap out. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a competitive match! I have to agree with Mark Madden, these two men are icons of the sport. Great match for Sting, but not quite enough to get past Joe. So the championship match for Havoc is set, with the two winningest wrestlers in Heartland history squaring off for the title. SAMOA JOE versus CHRISTOPHER DANIELS should be a classic! THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI & CHRIS HERO w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE (JAKE & DAVE CRIST)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) With the title shot on the line, Hero came to the ring injured, with a heavily bandaged right ankle. Claudio took most of the action for the Kings, while Dave and Jake tagged frequently and pushed the action to a fast pace. Hero had enough mobility to save Claudio from a pin after the Irish Air Raid and save the match for the Kings. Hero and Claudio were then able to execute a double-team Hero's Welcome to put Jake down for the three count. Mark Madden: A fine matchup for the Kings. The Irish Airborne had a nice run to get this far, but they aren’t ready for the likes of the Kings and the Briscoes. We’ll see that matchup at Havoc with the titles on the line, but with Hero’s injury U believe the scales are tipped in the Briscoe’s favor. MAIN EVENT: NWA JUNIOR X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Junior X-Division Championship. Your referee for this contest is Brady Boone. Introducing first, the challenger, accompanied to the ring by MELINA, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 210 pounds, CARLITO! And his opponent is your Junior X-Division Champion. Weighing in at 217 pounds from Lancashire, England, THE DYNAMITE KID!CARLITO defeated DYNAMITE KID by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) Carlito came after the champ with aggression, but Dynamite was up to the task. Carlito almost caught a fall with a DDT, but Dynamite kicked out. After the Kid regained control, he put Carlito on the mat and nailed him with a diving headbutt! Carlito kicked out, much to Dynamite's surprise, so the champ tossed Carlito out of the ring and a brawl erupted. Both men refused to return to the ring, and referee Boone tried to allow some leeway until the Kid pushed him to the floor. At this point, Boone called for the disqualification and awarded the match to Carlito. Dynamite Kid appeared unconcerned as he took his belt and left the arena. Lance Russell: So, the Dynamite Kid holds onto his title after a very competitive situation. I am sure Carlito and Melina are hoping to cross paths with the Kid for another title shot soon. A bit of a let-down after what has been an exciting night of action. A couple of important matches have been set for Havoc, where all three titles will be up for grabs! HOMICIDE will defend the Midwest Title in a rematch against the former champion, RODERICK STRONG. The BRISCOE BROTHERS will face off against THE KINGS OF WRESTLING for the tag team championship. And in the main event, the vacant Heartland Heavyweight Championship will be decided as SAMOA JOE takes on CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

Havoc in the Heartland VII United Center, Chicago, Illinois May 7, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Havoc in the Heartland VII! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois with tonight’s exciting action. All three Heartland Titles are up for grabs tonight! Our main event will be the finals of the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. The two winningest wrestlers in Heartland history have made it to the finals and will do battle tonight as SAMOA JOE will square off against CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. We’ll also see the Midwest Heavyweight Title and the Tag Team Championships contended tonight. Our first contest will be a triple threat match to determine the number one contender to the Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Let’s head to the ring and let the Havoc begin! MR. KENNEDY defeated DELIRIOUS and BJ WHITMER in a triple threat match (Referee: Brady Boone) An exciting, hard-hitting opening triple threat match saw Delirious open with a flurry! The masked lunatic hit both opponents with the Chemical Imbalance #2, to the delight of the Chicago crowd. As the match progressed, Whitmer took a double-team beating and was weakened severely. Delirious threw him out of the ring and prepared to execute a pescado when he was jumped by Kennedy. Kennedy floored Delirious with a spinebuster slam, and nailed him with the Kenton Bomb. Kennedy made the cover and earned the victory before Whitmer could return to the ring and make the save. Lance Russell: Wow! What a contest! All three of those competitors gave their best, but you can always count on Kennedy to seize the opportunity to take advantage of a situation. Mr. Kennedy is now in line for a shot at the Midwest Heavyweight Championship, against the winner of our next contest! But fans, I have just been informed that after this match, Mark Madden will be here with a very special announcement about Slamiversary. HOMICIDE (w/ KONNAN) pinned RODERICK STRONG (w/ ALLISON DANGER) to retain the Midwest Heavyweight Championship(Referee: Danny Davis) Strong gave Homicide a wrestling lesson for most of this match. Roderick put Homicide through a full arsenal of backbreakers, but the resilient champion refused to submit to the Stronghold twice! Homicide brawled his way back into the match, tying Roderick to the Tree of Woe and executing a devastating dropkick. Strong fled the ring, which proved to be a mistake, as Homicide brutally slammed him face first into the steel steps. Homicide hurled him back into the ring and clobbered him with the West Brooklyn Lariat to make a clean victory and a successful title defense! Mark Madden: So, Homicide successfully defends his title against the former champion. Roderick put up a much better fight this time, but Homicide would not be denied. Congratulations to the new champion! And now, a message about Slamiversary. My guest at this time is a man who is, in my opinion, one of the greatest underachievers in the history of the Heartland. He has yet to hold any titles in this territory, and in his last tag team match he walked out on his own partner. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to TAZZ.Tazz: Underachiever? Madden, you’re just a loudmouthed fat guy who never did a single athletic thing in your life! You know for yourself that Heartland is the pinnacle of professional wrestling. All the best talent is right here, big man, and I bust my tail every night in this very ring! Mark Madden: The best talent? Like Samoa Joe? You’re darn right, that’s talent. Talent that you walked away from after another tag team defeat. Let’s face it, homeboy, you were holding Joe back, and since you split from him, he is headed for the title and you are headed for the crapper! Tazz (drawing back a fist): Why, you big fat ugly sumbitch, I oughta put you on the ground right now! Mark Madden: You wanna hit me? That’s what I’m talking about! You can take down a big fat broadcaster, but that won’t make you a man. You need to prove yourself, pal, or get your sorry butt out of this man’s game. You’re going to Slamiversary to face DAN SEVERN- and if you lose that match, YOU’RE FIRED! Mark my words! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! I guess it’s put up or shut up time for Tazz. He’s hit a rough patch here lately in the Heartland, and now he is facing his last chance. That was quite a heated exchange between Tazz and Madden. I think we need a break for things to cool down. Be sure to stop off at the Heartland Concession Stand while we’re away for a refreshing drink of Heartland Papaya Punch. It’s cold, it’s sweet, it’s a taste that can’t be beat! ***INTERMISSION***Lance Russell: All right, fans, we are back! One of the hottest feuds in the Heartland has been the continuing hatred between BUFF BAGWELL and RICK RUDE as they battle for the attentions of the lovely SO CAL VAL. Finally, it has come down to this- a steel cage showdown! STEEL CAGE MATCH: BUFF BAGWELL defeated RICK RUDE(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Bagwell came into the cage with a fury, launching himself into Rude with a barrage. Buff raked Rude's face into the cage repeatedly, ripping him open! Rude gamely fought back, reversing a whip to the turnbuckle and nailing Bagwell with a running clothesline out of nowhere! Bagwell went on the defensive as Rude delivered clotheslines and neckbreakers, but Rude could not escape the cage. Finally Buff stunned Rude with a flying dropkick and planted him with a Blockbuster. Rude laid on the canvas, bleeding profusely, as Bagwell climbed the cage and dropped to the floor in triumph! Lance Russell: Boy, oh boy, Bagwell was at his best tonight! He went through Rude like a buzzsaw. His face is a crimson mask and he may not be quite so ravishing when he wakes up tomorrow morning. Now, it is time for the next title match as the Heartland Tag Championship is on the line! HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) defeated THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Danny Davis) With Hero still hobbling, the Kings were not at their best, but managed to keep the match competitive until the Briscoes nailed Claudio with the Spike J-Driller to secure the victory. Mark Madden: And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the finest tag team on the planet. And with Woman pulling the strings, I don’t think anyone will come close to toppling the Briscoe Brothers ant time soon. Now, let’s get to the main event! MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with no time limit and no disqualification. This match is for the finals of the Heartland Heavyweight Championship tournament. The winner of this match will be crowned your NEW NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion! Your referee for this contest if Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, from Orange County, California, weighing in at 280 pounds, he is accompanied to the ring by TRACY BROOKS. He is the Samoan Submission Machine, SAMOA JOE! And his opponent comes to you from the City of Angels. He weighs in at 232 pounds and is accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER. He is the Fallen Angel, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS!SAMOA JOE pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS to capture the Heartland Heavyweight Title!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Joe and Daniels went back and forth, with both men trading the advantage. Daniels caught a near-fall after the Best Moonsault Ever, but Joe got his foot to the bottom rope. Joe then nailed Daniels with an enzuigiri to take control. Firmly in charge, Joe unleased a flurry of moves, crushing Daniels with a flying bodypress and nearly knocking him out with the Coquina Clutch. Daniels escaped, but Joe then delivered a powerful Musclebuster to finish Daniels and capture the belt! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! History is made here in Chicago, Illinois! Samoa Joe is your new Heartland Heavyweight Champion. Congratulations to Joe on a tremendous victory, and to Christopher Daniels for a great match and an outstanding tournament. Joe is celebrating in the ring and hoisting that 15 pounds of gold over his shoulder. Even Heartland Commissioner ALEXANDRA YORK is in the ring, making a rare public appearance to celebrate this momentous occasion. Fans, we thank you for joining us for this exciting pay-per-view. We’ll be back in action on Friday night with another episode of Fury. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #49 Athletics Center, Richmond, Indiana May 11, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the latest edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the campus of Earlham University in Richmond, Indiana with another exciting night of action. But before we get to the matches, we have a special announcement from my good friend and broadcast colleague, Mark Madden. Mark Madden: Thank you, Lance, and good evening to you and all of our great Heartland fans. It is with great sadness that I must announce a ruling of the Heartland Board of Directors. MS. ALEXANDRA YORK has resigned her position as Commissioner of the Heartland. It is with great humility that I have accepted the position of Heartland Commissioner. The crowd boos.Lance Russell: What a turn of events! Well, love him or hate him, I must admit that Madden has become the most passionate spokesman and defender of Heartland wrestling. Whether he is up to the task of leading this territory remains to be seen. As you may now, Madden has been instrumental in signing some new talent to the Heartland, and we’ll have the opportunity to see one of those individuals in our opening match as MVP takes on the controversial TAZZ.MVP defeated TAZZ by countout(Referee: Heather Owens) The newcomer MVP started slowly, as the inspired Tazz opened with a flurry. Tazz outwrestled MVP and controlled him with a series of suplexes, scoring a couple of near-falls in the process. MVP decided to take a powder, rolling out of the ring to catch a breather. Tazz followed, and a brawl broke out on the floor. Heather Owens let the action continue, and Tazz went for the ring bell. Before Tazz could connect, MVP kicked him in the stomach and the bell dropped to the floor. When MVP picked up the bell and swung it at Tazz, Tazz retreated up the aisle. MVP returned to the ring, beating the count and earning the victory as Tazz continued to backpedal to the locker room. Mark Madden: Unbelievable. The second this Tazz faces any kind of adversity, all he can do is open up a can of haul-ass and run away. This guy is in big trouble at Slamiversary when he goes up again DAN SEVERN with his Heartland contract on the line. Lance Russell: I’ll give you one thing, Madden, Severn will be a supreme test for the skills of Tazz or any wrestler. But do you honestly believe that firing a talent like Tazz is a good move? Madden: Shut up, Russell, I know what I’m doing. Your job is to call the matches, not to second guess the Commissioner. And you darn well better do your job or my next pink slip will have your name on it. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness. So that’s how it’s going to be. Very well, then, I will make every effort to keep it professional. I am very pleased to welcome back to the territory a former Heartland and World tag team champion! Let’s bid a fond welcome to BRIAN PILLMAN!MR. KENNEDY pinned BRIAN PILLMAN(Referee: Danny Davis) Pillman started quickly, going to the air to stun Kennedy with his aerial tactics. The wily Kennedy soon turned the tables, rolling away from an attempted falling leg drop. Kennedy capitalized, hitting Pillman with a rolling Samoan Drop and scoring a clean pinfall victory. Lance Russell: Well, it certainly is good to see Pillman back in the Heartland, but unfortunately he met with some stiff competition in Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy is one of the hottest newcomers in the territory. He is on a collision course with the Midwest Heavyweight Champion HOMICIDE in what promises to be a tremendous confrontation! THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (STING & NIKITA KOLOFF) defeated CARLITO & SENSHI (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Brady Boone) This match was practically over before it started. Carlito attempted to back-jump Sting, pummeling him with punches and slaps, but the Stinger was unfazed. Before long, Sting took control with a stunning press slam and scored a quick pinfall over a stunned Carlito before either partner had tagged into the match! Lance Russell: Wow! Sting and Nikita are back in business and looking better than ever. These guys were serious title contenders before the injury to Nikita, and I would not be surprised to see them back in the title hunt very soon. And that brings us to intermission here at Fury. We’ll be back in a few minutes with more great action. While you are away, be sure to stop at the Heartland Concession Stand. In honor of the Earlham Quakers, we have freshly baked oatmeal cookies, oatmeal bars, oatmeal floats, and our extra-special oatmeal-and-banana flavored milkshakes. You won’t want to miss it! ***INTERMISSION***BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN) defeated CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) by submission(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In a rematch from a heated feud over the Midwest title, Studd and Daniels squared off again. The hatred between these men, and their respective managers, was evident as a long and brutal match played out. Daniels saw early success with flying moves over the top rope, stunning Studd with a corkscrew pescado to take control. Studd survived the onslaught and grounded Daniels woth clotheslines and bearhugs. Allison did all she could to turn the odds back in her man's favor, interrupting the count after a massive chokeslam. At this point, Woman hurled Allison out of the ring, allowing Studd to catch Daniels in the Giant Backbreaker. Daniels was unable to counter, and was forced to submit. Lance Russell: What a match! Daniels may have gotten the last laugh in the feud over the Midwest title, but Studd certainly gained a measure of revenge tonight and proved that he is indeed a formidable competitor inside that ring. And now, folks, we have a special feature main event as JAKE CRIST has challenged DELIRIOUS to a match! You may recall last month when Delirious defeated Jake’s brother DAVE CRIST. Well, Jake wants to prove himself in singles competition and Delirious was more than willing to step into the ring this evening. MAIN EVENT: SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCHDELIRIOUS defeated JAKE CRIST by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) Delirious and Jake went around and around in a very tight struggle with multiple near-falls. Jake nailed a Corkscrew Plancha on Delirious outside the ring as the crowd marvelled, but Delirious recovered. Delirious trapped Jake in the corner and delivered his trademark 20 clotheslines, stunning Jake and setting up for the Cobra Stretch to gain the victory. After the match, Delirious helped Jake to his feet, babbling wildly as he embraced the young Irishman and the two left the ring together.Lance Russell: Hear, hear! What a fine matchup between two outstanding athletes. That, my friends, is wrestling competition at its finest. That’s what the Heartland territory is all about. No baseball bats, no barbed wire, no trash can lids, just wrestling! Thank you so much for joining us tonight. We’ll be back on Monday night with another exciting card of action. The main event will be for the Heartland Tag Team Championship as the BRISCOE BROTHERS put the titles on the line against THE IRISH AIRBORNE. Don't you dare miss it! NWA Heartland Card #50 Geater Community Center, Anderson, Indiana May 14, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the 50th live broadcast of NWA Heartland! I am your host, Lance Russell, proudly bringing you tonight’s action from Smalltown, USA! We have an exciting night of action tonight, including a championship match as the BRISCOE BROTHERS defend the titles against THE IRISH AIRBORNE in a battle of brother tag teams. We’ll also have a special update from my broadcast partner, and now Heartland Commissioner, MARK MADDEN. Now, let’s get to the ring for the debut match of Heartland newcomer CHRISTIAN CAGE!CARLITO (w/ MELINA) defeated CHRISTIAN CAGE by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The match went back and forth for several minutes before Christian took control with the Unprettier. Carlito managed to escape the ring as referee Kopasz was distracted by Melina. Christian pursued Carlito out of the ring and slammed him face first to the steel steps, forcing Kopasz to call for the DQ. The brawl continued as both men exchanged blows on the concrete floor. Carlito began to get the better of Christian, so Christian turned and high-tailed it back to the dressing room. Lance Russell: My, oh my. Win or lose, this Christian Cage is sure to bring controversy wherever he goes. But you can always count on Carlito to step it up when the going gets tough. OWEN HART pinned BUFF BAGWELL(Referee: Brady Boone) Bagwell wrestled with heavily taped ribs after his fierce cage match with Rick Rude. Hart took advantage with his superior mobility, crushing Bagwell with a tombstone piledriver to emerge victorious in his debut match. Lance Russell: Owen Hart is looking good! We saw his older brother capture the Heartland title, and then move on to become World Champion. But it doesn’t look quite as good for Bagwell. He got his piece of Rick Rude, for sure, but he looks pretty banged up as a result. And now, --- Suddenly, Lance Russell is interrupted as the tune “The Chase” my Giorgio Moroder plays on the sound system. The arena darkens and a single spotlight shines at the entryway. Three figures appear at the top of the ramp.Jim Cornette: Ladies and gentlemen, Heartland Wrestling proudly presents to you, every man’s nightmare and every schoolgirl’s dream, the Sultan of Swing and the Gangster of Love, BEAUTIFUL BOBBY and SWEET STAN LANE, the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS!THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) defeated THE PRINCES OF DANGER (CHRISTOPHER DANIELS & BJ WHITMER w/ ALLISON DANGER)(Referee: Danny Davis) The Express demonstrated why they are one of the finest tag teams in history in defeating the formidable Princes. Lane found himself in trouble in the early going, but he was able to kick out of Whitmer's Exploder and tag in Eaton. Beautiful Bobby took control on Whitmer thanks to some timely interference by Cornette. Before long, Whitmer was on the receiving end of the Veg-O-Matic and the three count. Lance Russell: Wow! Speaking of auspicious debuts, you can always count on Jim Cornette to make a splash. You can bet the Express will be headed to the top of the tag team ranks very soon. Let’s head to a break now. Be sure to hang around and catch a special concert performance by the local legends, KRIS ROE and THE ATARIS. After the break, we’ll be back with a special update from Heartland Commissioner MARK MADDEN. Rumor has it, someone will be fired from NWA Heartland tonight! I hate to think what might happen. ***INTERMISSION***Mark Madden enters the ring, dressed in his ordinary sport coat and wearing a Sports International Xtreme baseball cap as he takes the microphone.Mark Madden: Fans, let’s face it. It was a tough night for the Heartland at Slamiversary. The BRISCOE BROTHERS put up a hell of a fight against STEVE WILLIAMS and TERRY GORDY, but in the end they came up a little bit short. SIX got the best of us that one night, and I respect that. I am not ashamed to put my hair on the line for the Heartland. Madden pulls off the ball cap to reveal his clean-shaven head.Madden: In fact, I am PROUD of the Briscoes and I am proud to be affiliated with Heartland Wrestling. This is still the finest promotion on the planet. The crowd cheers.Madden: However, there is one situation which was truly embarrassing to the Heartland. Once again, that idiot TAZZ has failed to defend the honor of the Heartland. And worse yet, this time, we lost the rights to promote in Chicago after all the hard work DAVE LITTLE invested in negotiating that deal. Tazz, get your lame butt into this ring… NOW! Tazz walks slowly down the ramp, his head covered with a towel. He enters the ring defiantly, removing the towel and coming nose to nose with Madden, glaring silently.Madden: Tazz, you are a loser! You walked out on SAMOA JOE. You laid down for DAN SEVERN. You lost us the rights to promote in Chicago. YOU COST ME MONEY! Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t fire you right here and right now! Tazz: Whatever. You’re probably going to fire me, so I might as well get a few good shots in before I go! Tazz slaps Madden across the face. Madden drops to the mat and Tazz locks him into the Tazzmission. Suddenly, a huge man leaps over the security rail and storms the ring. The man grabs Tazz and pries him away from Madden. He stomps Tazz repeatedly. Tazz finally manages to get to his hands and knees, diving at the man and bringing him to the mat with a double-leg takedown. The two men battle around the ring until they roll out to the floor. Tazz picks up the ring steps and attempts to throw them onto his attacker, but the man nails Tazz in the face with a boot. Tazz drops the ring steps and falls to the floor. The attacker climbs into the ring and stands with Madden.Madden: Ladies and gentlemen, as your new Heartland Commissioner, my first official act has been to hire a bodyguard for situations just like this. Allow me to introduce the new Heartland Head of Security, TYSON TOMKO!The crowd boos lustily. Tazz picks himself up off the floor and glares at Madden and Tomko.Madden: Tazz, you may be a loser, but I gotta hand it to you. You’re entertaining. Firing you would be a bad business decision. Not only am I keeping you on the roster, I am putting you in a feature match on Friday night at Fury. No holds barred, no disqualification, anything goes. Tazz versus TYSON TOMKO! Tazz: Tomko, you are a piece of crap. You picked the wrong guy to screw around with. I will be at Fury on Friday night and I will beat the snot out of you! Tazz leaves the ring area to the cheers of the fans. Tomko and Madden shake hands and depart together.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness. Nobody works harder in this business than Tazz. But it looks like now that Madden has the power, Tazz has a rough road ahead. I guess we will see Tazz and Tomko this Friday night! DELIRIOUS defeated CURT HENNIG (w/ SO CAL VAL) by disqualification(Referee: Heather Owens) Delirious dazzled the Indiana crowd with his speed and agility, outwitting Hennig and Val at every turn. Hennig took a powder, but the masked man soared through the sky and nailed Hennig with a devastating Senton Splash! Hennig was nearly finished at this point as Delirious continued his assault. When Delirious hit Hennig with a corkscrew plancha to the ring floor, Val intervened and raked the eyes of Delirious. Heather Owens immediately disqualified Hennig. After the match, BUFF BAGWELL returned to ringside. The lovesick Bagwell approached Val, carrying a single red rose. Val rolled her eyes as Hennig and Delirious continued to brawl. Val took the rose and threw it aside, turning away from Bagwell. With Val distracted, Delirious caught Hennig in a suplex and he landed hard on the concrete floor. Bagwell grabbed Val by the arm and spun her around to face him. As he did so, TOMKO rushed from the dressing room and grabbed Bagwell, prying him away from Val and dragging him up the ramp by his hair. Mark Madden appeared at the top of the ramp and addressed Bagwell. Madden: Bagwell, you are PATHETIC! It’s one thing to be a loser, but assaulting an innocent lady is way out of bounds in my book. Nobody wants to watch you mope around the locker room and fawn over Val. You have gone from a former World Heavyweight Champion to a whiny little frustrated Romeo, and I am sick of it. Buff Bagwell, YOU ARE FIRED! Tomko grabs Bagwell by the tights and hurls him through the curtain to the backstage area.Lance Russell: Well! I guess that’s the last we’ll see of Bagwell around these parts. I only hope Madden is not getting too carried away with his newfound authority. What I would really like to see is some honest-to-goodness wrestling, and I think our main event should provide just that. Let’s go to Lillian Garcia for our introductions! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This contest is for the NWA Heartland Tag Team Championship. Your referee for the contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challengers, at a total combined weight of 348 pounds, hailing from New Carlisle, Ohio, DAVE AND JAKE CRIST, THE IRISH AIRBORNE! And their opponents are your Heartland Tag Team Champions. Hailing from Laurel, Delaware, accompanied by WOMAN, at a total combined weight of 385 pounds, JAY AND MARK, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS!THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST) to defend the titles(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The young Irish duo fought gamely, taking all of the best moves the Briscoes had to offer. The champs isolated Jake in the ring and pummelled him mercilessly. At the end of his stamina, Jake finally made a desperation tag to Dave, who came into the ring a house afire! Dave unleashed a flurry of moves on Jay before a distraction by Woman gave Mark Briscoe an opening for a cheap shot from the ring apron. Mark then drilled Dave with a springboard clothesline, nearly turning him upside down. At this point, the three count from Kopasz was a mere formality. Lance Russell: That does it for tonight’s show, folks. The Crist brothers gave it a good run, but these Briscoes are at the top of their game. We’ll see them in action again on Friday night as they vie for the World Tag Team Championship! THE ELIMINATORS will be on hand to defend the titles from Louisville, Kentucky. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!
