NWA Heartland Card #28 Value City Arena, Columbus, Ohio February 2, 2007 Lance Russell: Hello again, fans of the Heartland! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from the capital city, Columbus, Ohio, birthplace of our very own Heartland promoter, Dave Little. We are excited to be here and we have a great card for tonight’s edition of Friday Night Fury. And it will be a furious night indeed as we have TWO spectacular grudge matches on the agenda, highlighted by a Flaming Tables match between DELIRIOUS and BRADSHAW! Bradshaw has sworn that if he can’t beat Delirious, he will leave the Heartland. Delirious has hoodwinked Bradshaw, challenging him to the Flaming Tables match. Despite his objections, Commissioner Alexandra York has ruled that Bradshaw must face Delirious tonight, and that he will be fired from NWA Heartland if he loses this match! Mark Madden: Blast it, Lance, Bradshaw is getting screwed! Whoever hired a woman to run a wrestling promotion has made a big mistake. I only hope Bradshaw can defeat Delirious tonight and get his revenge. The other big grudge match will pit SHAWN MICHAELS against PETEY WILLIAMS. Williams took out the knee of the Heartbreak Kid with a steel chair, and Michaels has his chance to get revenge tonight in this special No Disqualification match. Michaels hopes to go through Petey to get to Bret Hart, but it remains to be seen whether that will happen. Let’s head up to the ring and get this party started! SCOTTY STEINER pinned CM PUNKPunk had all the momentum in this match, until he charged at Steiner on the turnbuckle and missed. Out of nowhere, Scotty nailed Punk with a Frankensteiner and picked up the pinfall! RICK RUDE pinned DELIRIOUSIn a long and intensely competitive match, Rude finally prevailed after coming off the ropes and surprising Delirious with a flying bodypress. BATISTA pinned BAD NEWS ALLEN COAGEThe animal is still rolling through the competition, as he put away the newcomer Bad News with the Batista Bomb with relative ease. THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (STING & NIKITA KOLOFF) defeated THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI) by disqualificationSting dominated the action in this match, putting a beating on Hero. Hero took the action outside of the ring several times, but the Stinger continued to get the best of him. Finally, Hero tagged in Claudio, who could fare no better. In frustration, Hero came into the ring with an obvious double-team attack and referee Brady Boone immediately called for the disqualification. After the match, a frustrated Chris Hero took the microphone.Hero: It is good to be the king! Claudio and me plan to rule this territory. But the Kings cannot rule without the services of a beautiful Queen. We seek to find the perfect lady to rule with us. And last Monday night, we were introduced to the perfect lady to become the Queen of wrestling. So tonight, Claudio and me humbly request the presence of the beautiful So Cal Val to join with us! The tune “Rich Girl” by Gwen Stefani plays in the arena. So Cal Val struts down to the ring and walks slowly around Hero and Claudio, sizing them up before she asks for the microphone. So Cal Val: So… you boys think you have what it takes to be Val’s pals? I wouldn’t be so sure. You two just got beat by one guy. If you really think you are man enough to be with me, I want to see you prove yourselves first. I have my eyes on another tag team, but perhaps if you can beat them I will give you a shot. I want to talk to that handsome devil Rick Rude and his cute little buddy, Petey Williams. Rick Rude struts down to ringside as the tune “I’m Too Sexy” plays overhead. Petey follows behind, looking a bit less enthusiastic. Rude enters the ring and takes Val by the hand, circling her slowly and admiring her. Val smiles and bats her eyelids.Rude: You got two things right there, toots. I am handsome, and I am a devil. You and me could be beautiful together. Just say the word, darlin’, and you can be with the sexiest man in all the Heartland! Petey Williams: Rick, buddy, we have got to stay focused! Hitman has a rematch coming up against Sting and the title is on the line! We ain’t got time to be flirting and partying now! Rude: Relax, Petey, we’ll be there for the Hitman when he needs us. There are some things in life that are just too fine to pass by! Hero: Hey! Musclehead! Why don’t you go back to wherever you came from. This is the time for the Kings and you are interfering with royal business. Val: Now boys, settle yourselves. I have a little proposition for both of you. How about you bring your partners for a tag match- NO DQ- and prove yourselves to Val? The winning team gets the services of So Cal Val! Hero: You’re on! The Kings can take this pair of pretenders to the throne. Me and Claudio will give you a beating you will never forget! Petey: Rick, think about it! We have more important issues to deal with than this floozy and those two jokers. Let’s make sure Bret gets his title back, then deal with this situation later. Val slaps Petey across the face. Petey balls his fist and lunges after Val, but Rude catches him and tries to calm him down. Hero steps in front of Val, shielding her from the fracas, but Claudio reaches over the shoulder of Rude and pops Petey across the face with a sucker punch! All four men begin brawling wildly as Val shrieks and squeals, clearly delighted as the brawl escalates. Referees enter the ring and separate the combatants, finally managing to clear the ring.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a situation! What a brawl! That is one devilish woman we’re dealing with. I wouldn’t trust her under any circumstances. Look at the trouble she has stirred up! Let’s go to intermission and get things settled down. And speaking of stirring things up, be sure to stop at the Heartland concession stand during the break and try some delicious nachos with spinach and artichoke dip. Get it while it’s hot! ***INTERMISSION***HEART AND SOUL (CM PUNK & SHELTON BENJAMIN) defeated THE MASTERS OF SUBMISSION (SAMOA JOE & TAZ)Joe and Taz were still operating at less than full strength, and Punk and Benjamin worked this to their perfect advantage. Taz was isolated and worn down by Punk, who tagged to Benjamin. Shelton nailed Taz with a T-Bone suplex for the victory. GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATION SHAWN MICHAELS pinned PETEY WILLIAMSThe two rivals tore into each other fiercely, beating each other from pillar to post. Williams nailed a spinning DDT and had Michaels in big trouble! But the Heartbreak Kid was able to regain the momentum and finally nailed Petey with a pair of Sweet Chin Music superkicks and cover the Canadian for the victory. After the match, Michaels stood over Petey, pointing and screaming about his knee injury. Enraged, HBK slid out of the ring and went for a steel chair, intending to take his revenge on the knee of Petey. But before Michaels could strike, Ravishing Rick Rude dashed into the ring and intercepted him. Rude grabbed the chair and swung wildly at Michaels, who ducked away and rolled out of the ring. Rude stood over Petey and helped him to his feet as Michaels strode victoriously out of the ring area.Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! Just when it looked like Rude and Petey were headed to Splitsville, the Ravishing Once proves himself. He had Petey’s back that time, and now I think it is clear that Petey knows who his friends are. But there will be no friends in our final contest as the rivalry between BRADSHAW and DELIRIOUS comes to a head. It’s time for the Heartland’s first-ever Flaming Tables Match- and if Bradshaw loses, he will leave the Heartland for good! SPECIAL STIPULATION MATCH: FLAMING TABLES DELIRIOUS defeated BRADSHAWThe wacky Delirious had Bradshaw baffled the entire match. Bradshaw tried to roughhouse and brawl outside the ring, but Delirious repeatedly escaped his grasp, ducking in and out of the ring wildly and babbling loudly. Bradshaw was unable to keep up and missed wildly with an attempted clothesline. Delirious saw his opportunity and sprang from the far ropes, nailing the big Texan with a flying crossbody block and knocking him senseless. This gave Delirious the opportunity to retrieve and ignite the table. As Bradshaw staggered to his feet, Delirious whipped him to the ropes and backdropped Bradshaw high into the air, sending him crashing through the table as referee Danny Davis awarded the victory to Delirious! Delirious runs around the ring, babbling wildly and high-fiving the ringside fans. Bradshaw rolled free of the burning table as Tony Garea and Rene Goulet scrambled in with fire extinguishers. Garea sprayed the table while Goulet hosed down Bradshaw, much to his chagrin. The big Texan angrily waved his arms at Goulet, kicked at the bottom ring rope, and covered his ears as the fans taunted him and the show faded to black.Lance Russell: I guess this means goodbye to Bradshaw. Sometimes in this business, your mouth writes checks that your body can’t catch. That’s it for an exciting card here in Columbus, folks. We’ll be back on Monday night with another episode of Adrenaline, don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #29 Allen County Memorial, Fort Wayne, Indiana February 5, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Monday Night Adrenaline! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from the Allen County Memorial in Fort Wayne, Indiana! We are here in the Hoosier State as the celebration for the World Champion Indianapolis Colts is in full swing! NWA Heartland is here tonight with an exciting night of action. Our main event tonight will be a number one contenders’ match for a shot at the Heartland Tag Team Championship! The SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT, STING and NIKITA KOLOFF, will take on the team known as HEART AND SOUL- CM PUNK and SHELTON BENJAMIN! Now, let’s head to the ring for our opening contest. AJ STYLES pinned BATISTA (w/ MELINA)A major upset to open the card! Batista overpowered Styles in the early stages of the contest, but AJ kicked out of a spinebuster and took to the air. Coming at Batista from all angles, AJ rallied and gained the advantage. Melina tried to interfere, but was knocked from the ring apron and went down on the concrete floor. Style took advantage, flooring Batista with a springboard forearm strike and nailing the frog splash. Batista staggered to his feet, walking straight into the Styles Clash and a stunning defeat! CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ALLISON DANGER) pinned CARLITO (w/ MELINA)With his new manager at his side, Daniels returned to the ring for his first match since losing the Midwest Heavyweight Championship. The Fallen Angel looked as crisp as ever, quickly taking control of Carlito. Melina came to the ring apron, but Allison pulled her down and Daniels connected with the Angel’s Wings for a quick pinfall! After the match, Carlito jumped Daniels and began to beat him down. Melina shrieked for Batista, who quickly dashed to the ring and began a two-on-one pummeling of Daniels. Just as quickly, a figure sprinted to the ring and cleared both Carlito and Batista out of the ring. Daniels escaped the fracas unharmed. Allison Danger joined the duo in the ring and called for the microphone.Allison: Melina! Batista! Your reign of terror in the Heartland is coming to an end. My Angel has been screwed out of his Midwest Title. My Angel was attacked by an inferior wrestler. My Angel has brought me here to watch over him and to lead him through the darkness and take him to his rightful throne. But my Angel will not survive the journey alone. My Angel must have his princes to serve and protect him. Angel, I present to you RODERICK STRONG, a Prince of Danger. And now, I bring you the second Prince of Danger! The tune “Danger Zone” by Black Sabbath fills the arena as BJ WHITMER strides to the ring, joining Daniels and Strong. Allison kneels in front of Daniels, facing the audience, as Whitmer and Strong flank her, glaring menacingly around the arena. Finally, Allison stands and takes Daniels by the arm, leading him out of the ring as Strong and Whitmer hold the ropes.Mark Madden: What a freaky chick! Did you see the way her eyes rolled back in her head? Cripes, it wouldn’t surprise me to see her whole head spin around in circles. Still, any chick who is that tripped out is someone worth watching out for, and now she has the muscle to back up Daniels. Me, I’d rather check out the lovely- and dangerous- SO CAL VAL!SAMOA JOE pinned BIG TIME BAGWELL (w/ SO CAL VAL)Bagwell came in as the prohibitive underdog, but gave Samoa Joe an intense battle. The match repeatedly spilled out of the ring, and Bagwell effectively worked the injured rib cage of the Samoan. Joe finally got back on track, lifting a boot to the face of a charging Bagwell. Like a cobra, Joe trapped Bagwell in the Coquina Clutch, but Val jumped to the ring apron and distracted referee Heather Owens, allowing Val to slide Bagwell’s foot over the bottom rope. Unfazed, Joe stalked Bagwell and nailed him with a devastating enzuigiri for the pin. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! There is no stopping Samoa Joe. Even with his ribcage injury, he took out Bagwell in a most impressive fashion. We have seen a little bit of everything tonight, and we are just getting to intermission! We’ll be back in a few moments with more great Heartland action. While we are away, be sure to check out the Heartland Souvenir stand. We have a live appearance from MIKE DOSS of the Indianapolis Colts, so be sure to shake his hand and pick up an autographed 8X10 of a member of both the BCS and Super Bowl championship teams! ***INTERMISSION***RICK RUDE & PETEY WILLIAMS defeated THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI)Petey still appeared ambivalent when he came to the ring, but once the match started he went full throttle. Williams drilled Hero with a spinning DDT, causing Val to shriek with excitement while Hero headed to the outside. Inspired, Petey went for the Tope Suicida, but missed badly and crashed to the floor. Claudio tagged in and delivered an elevated senton, but Petey kicked out! The Canadian managed to bring Rude into the match, and Rude pummeled Claudio. Hero tagged back in, just in time to be greeted with a Rude Awakening and a three count! After the decision, Rude threw Hero out of the ring and kicked Claudio off of the apron. The Kings collected themselves and angrily left the ring area. Val entered the ring and raised the arm of the Ravishing One. Petey immediately came to Val and raised her opposite arm and the trio stood triumphantly in the center of the ring.Mark Madden: Now that’s more like it. Finally, a broad with some sense. Val is building herself quite a collection of talent. I wonder if the Hitman himself will join the party? Lance Russell: Well, Mark, that remains to be seen. But enough of the drama, it’s time for the main event! Let’s go back to the ring for Lillian Garcia for the introductions. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with no time limit. This match is for the number one contender’s spot for the NWA Heartland Tag Team Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, team number one, collectively known as HEART AND SOUL, at a total combined weight of 468 pounds, here are CM PUNK and SHELTON BENJAMIN! And their opponents, weighing in at 539 pounds, NIKITA KOLOFF and STING, THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT!MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERS’ MATCH THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (STING & NIKITA KOLOFF) defeated HEART & SOUL (CM PUNK & SHELTON BENJAMIN)With a title shot on the line, the Soldiers and Heart & Soul locked up in a very intense matchup. Benjamin got in trouble early and got nailed with a Stinger Splash. Benjamin managed to kick out, then dodged another Splash, sending Sting crashing to the turnbuckle. Punk tagged in and took over on Sting, attacking him with a series of martial arts strikes and forcing Sting to duck out of the ring. After rolling back into the ring, Sting made the blind tag to Koloff, and Nikita demolished Punk with a Russian Sickle out of nowhere! Sting cut off Benjamin as Nikita covered Punk for the victory. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a performance by the dynamic team of Sting and Nikita. The Soldiers are truly a magnificent team. Their showdown with the STEINER BROTHERS is not to be missed! Fans, thank you for joining us for tonight’s episode of Monday Night Adrenaline! It has been a most eventful evening here in Fort Wayne. Please be sure to join us this Friday night from Bloomington, Indiana for our next broadcast. We’ll see the new Midwest Heavyweight Champion, BIG JOHN STUDD, in his title rematch against the former champion, THE FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. And you can bet that WOMAN and this bizarre new manager ALLISON DANGER will both be at ringside to make this an even more unusual spectacle. Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #30 Assembly Hall, Bloomington, Indiana February 9, 2007 Lance Russell: Hello, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight’s edition of Friday Night Fury! We are coming to you live from Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana. We are coming to you live from the campus of Indiana University with an exciting night of action. Our main event tonight will feature a rematch for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship, pitting the new champ, BIG JOHN STUDD, against the former champion, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. Daniels was enraged when his former manager, WOMAN, turned on him and sided with Studd, leading the big man to victory in their last encounter. But it didn’t take long for the Fallen Angel to strike back, bringing in his own new manager, ALLISON DANGER, to watch his back and lead him back to the Midwest Title. This should be an epic showdown between two heated rivals! Let’s head to the ring to get the action started. CM PUNK defeated HERNANDEZ by submission (Referee: Danny Davis) Punk and Hernandez fought for nearly 15 minutes in a surprisingly clean match-up. Hernandez wore down the smaller Punk and appeared to be taking control. Punk responded by taking a chance, successfully executing a full nelson suplex on Hernandez and immediately clamping on the Anaconda Vice for the victory. DELIRIOUS defeated PETEY WILLIAMS (w/ SO CAL VAL) by submission(Referee: Heather Owens) In a frenetic match, Delirious got the upper hand immediately after Williams attempted a sneak attack. Delirious sidestepped Petey’s dropkick and cut loose with a flurry of clotheslines and hurricanranas, stunning Petey and setting him up for the Cobra Stretch. Val shrieked and slapped the mat repeatedly, but could not help Williams to escape before he was forced to tap. Val clearly appeared disappointed as she left the ring area with Petey. Mark Madden: Good lord! This guy gets loonier by the hour. Worse yet, it looks like Val is less than thrilled with the performance of Petey Williams in this match. THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI) defeated THE MASTERS OF SUBMISSION (SAMOA JOE & TAZZ)(Referee: Danny Davis) Another 15+ minute contest between two determined teams! The Masters took control early, wearing down Claudio badly. Taz surprised Claudio with three consecutive deathjumps, but Hero broke up the pin attempt and the match continued. The Kings fought back, hitting Taz with the monkey flip/ spear combo, and repeating the move on Joe! Claudio then caught Joe in the Swi$$ Sleeperholding, and Joe collapsed to the canvas as Taz was unable to respond. Lance Russell: Wow! Samoa Joe just went down for the count! You don’t see that often. The Kings are quite the polished tag team, you have to hand it to them. They functioned perfectly in that match and took another step up the Heartland totem pole. We’ll look forward to seeing more from this duo soon. For now, let’s head to intermission. Be sure to check out the concession stand while we are away and grab a Hoosier Hoagie. Get ‘em while they are hot! ***INTERMISSION***RICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned SCOTTY STEINER(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Rude and Val worked very well as a team to record an important victory over the former Heartland Champion. After Scotty had nailed a Steiner Line, Val managed to rake his eyes and Rude recovered to take control of the match. Scotty was able to kick out of the Rude Awakening, but a well-executed piledriver finished the onslaught and allowed the Ravishing One to emerge victorious. Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! I don’t think I have ever seen Rude look this dominant. He just beat the daylights out of a former Heartland champion! It looks like he has really found his niche with So Cal Val. But this Val still has a few things to prove if she wants to be among the top managers in the NWA. Our next match will be an awesome confrontation between two men with a grudge… and the women who drive them… with gold on the line! Let’s go to Lillian for the introductions. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit. This bout will be a rematch for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Brady Boone. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 232 pounds, from the City of Angels, accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER, he is a former Midwest Heavyweight Champion, he is THE FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS!And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, accompanied to the ring by WOMAN, weighing in at 364 pounds, and your current Midwest Heavyweight Champion, BIG JOHN STUDD! MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP (Referee: Brady Boone) CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN) to regain the title! It didn’t take long for the championship rematch to deteriorate into a duel of the managers. Both Allison and Woman worked tirelessly to put their men over. Woman nailed Daniels with a low blow, setting up Studd for a paralyzing backbreaker, but Allison pulled out Studd’s leg and sent the big man tumbling. In a flash, Daniels leaped to the corner and executed the BME for the stunning victory to regain his title! After the match, a furious Woman attempted to attack Allison Danger. Allison stood her ground and the two managers erupted into a fierce brawl. Both ladies rolled around the ring, shrieking and pulling hair, in such a fury that even the men were astounded! Brady Boone was unable to separate the women until the remaining referees spilled out of the locker room and settled the excitement.Once the fracas was resolved, the Titantron came on and HEARTLAND COMMISSIONER ALEXANDRA YORK appeared. Alexandra York: Ladies! Enough! This is NOT the type of behavior which promotes the world of professional wrestling! I am sickened by this outrageous display of impropriety! Worse yet, I am disgusted that the prestigious Midwest Heavyweight Championship has been decided TWICE by the outside influences of you managers. It is time for this issue to be settled, once and for all, INSIDE the ring. Our next pay-per-view, Heartland Havoc V, will be held 10 days from now. The Midwest Heavyweight Championship will be decided between Big John Studd and Christopher Daniels. And, to ensure that there will be NO outside interference, Allison Danger and Woman will be handcuffed- to each other – outside of the ring! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Fans, you heard it here first- Daniels vs. Studd for the Midwest Championship- and the managers handcuffed together outside the ring! What a battle that will be. Ladies and gentlemen, I have just been handed a press release from the Heartland Championship Committee. A special NWA World Championship Match has been scheduled for tomorrow evening, February 10, in Dayton, Ohio at the Ervin J Nutter Center, during halftime of the basketball game between the Butler Bulldogs and the Wright State Raiders! Be sure to join us as STING gets his shot at the NWA World Champion, DICK THE BRUISER.Fans, we thank you for joining us for tonight’s installment of Friday Night Fury. We will look forward to seeing you back tomorrow night for the special World Title match- don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH February 10, 2007 EJ Nutter Center, Dayton, Ohio NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPDICK THE BRUISER defeated STING to successfully defend the titleIn a special feature matchup at the halftime of the Butler Bulldogs-Wright State Raiders game, DICK THE BRUISER defeated Heartland Heavyweight Champion STING to retain his NWA World Heavyweight Championship. As in previous trips to the Heartland, Dick was at his brutal best, pummeling Sting outside the ring and inside, flaunting the rules and rough-housing his way to a dominant victory. Sting controlled the early moments of the match, nailing Dick with a running clothesline and a flying bulldog, but Dick rolled to the outside and resorted to brawling. The Bruiser smashed Sting into the steel steps, then delivered a devastating chair shot. Referee Joe Kopasz chose to allow the match to continue, but it was too late for Sting. Bruiser executed a top rope knee drop and pinned the Stinger cleanly to keep his title. On a happier note, the hometown Raiders upset the ninth-ranked Bulldogs 77-65!

NWA Heartland Card #31 Bank of Kentucky Arena, Highland Heights, Kentucky February 12, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans, and welcome to tonight’s presentation of Monday Night Adrenaline! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from Highland Heights, Kentucky, on the campus of Northern Kentucky University, with a great night of action in store. We have TWO special feature matches for you tonight, highlighted by a rematch for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship as the champion STING takes on his rival, the former champ BRET “THE HITMAN” HART.Mark Madden: That’s right, Lance, these two always go at each other with a vengeance, and tonight will be no different. Even in this little Podunk Kentucky backwater town! The other special feature match which I am excited about is a Triple Threat match for the cruiserweights! It will be HOMICIDE versus AJ STYLES versus CM PUNK in a match to determine who will wrestle for the NWA Junior X Championship! No doubt about it, Lance, these three will tear it up! Let’s head to the ring for tonight’s opening match. TAZZ defeated RICK STEINER by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) In a technical, yet brutal competition, Taz and Steiner wore each other down throughout the opening bout. Steiner had an opportunity for victory, but Taz kicked out after a powerful Steiner Line and the match continued. Taz turned the tables, catching the gremlin with a series of suplexes from all angles, weakening Rick and allowing Taz to finish him with the Tazmission. LAX defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The Exchange simply overpowered the Airborne, with the big Hernandez doing most of the damage. Hernandez beat Jake Crist down severely, but he was able to tag his brother Dave into the match. Hernandez nailed Dave with a chokeslam, then tagged in Homicide, who finished the match with Da Cop Killa. After the match, LAX continued to taunt and abuse the Airborne. Not to be intimidated, Dave got into the face of Homicide and the fists began to fly! Homicide threw Dave to the floor, where the fight continued, but Dave reversed a whip and sent Homicide careening into the steel steps. Homicide tried to catch himself, but his left wrist twisted awkwardly as he crashed into the steel. Homicide came up holding his hand and wincing. Hernandez came to his partner’s aid as Joe Kopasz finally regained order and sent the Airborne back to the dressing room.Mark Madden: Awesome! The Exchange looked terrific in that match. But you have to question the judgement of Homicide for getting into a meaningless brawl after the match. He has the triple threat match coming up later tonight! He can’t be losing his focus like that just because he thinks he has been disrespected. We’ll be looking for an update on his wrist injury after the trainers check him out. BJ WHITMER (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned CHRIS SABIN(Referee: Danny Davis) In a wild battle, the hard-hitting Whitmer locked up with the high-flying Sabin for an intense fight. Sabin dominated the early stages of the match with his quickness, executing several beautiful moves off the turnbuckle. The match turned when Sabin attempted a shoulder tackle, which Whitmer reversed into a swinging DDT, stunning Sabin. Whitmer followed up with an Exploder ’98 and Sabin was nearly out of it. Sabin was able to regain his feet, but BJ trapped him with a Northern Lights Suplex and captured the duke. Lance Russell: Outstanding matchup! Whitmer is a Kentucky native and the hometown fans are happy to see him prevail against a very capable opponent. That will take us to intermission now, folks, so be sure to visit the Heartland Souvenir Stand while you are up. Tonight’s special item, courtesy of Northern Kentucky University, is a Salmon P. Chase School of Law coffee mug. You won’t want to miss that exciting opportunity! ***INTERMISSION***NIKITA KOLOFF pinned RON GARVIN (Referee: Heather Owens) The intensity level in the arena continued to climb as Garvin and Koloff went to war. Inside the ring and out, the rugged brawlers punished each other severely. Nikita gained the upper hand on the floor, but Garvin ducked away from a clothesline and Nikita accidentally nailed referee Heather Owens. With Heather out of commission, it was Garvin who took control, pummeling Koloff. On two occasions, it appeared that Garvin could pin the powerful Russian, but Heather remained unresponsive outside of the ring. When she finally came around, she allowed the match to continue, choosing not to disqualify Koloff. Nikita then exploded out of the corner with a Russian Sickle, catching Garvin by surprise and pinning him cleanly. As Garvin protested the decision, PETEY WILLIAMS dashed in from the locker room and jumped Koloff from behind. Garvin got in on the act, stomping away at Koloff until SHAWN MICHAELS dashed into the ring and chased Garvin and Williams out of the ring. Koloff appeared unharmed as he got to his feet and embraced his fellow Soldier.Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! Lucky thing Michaels was here to watch Nikita’s back. But what was Garvin doing getting involved? Come to think of it, he IS a Canadian. Could he be connected to Hart and Williams? Interesting…. But you have to pity the poor guy. He should have won that match if it weren’t for the incompetent chick they hired to referee the thing. I can’t blame the guy for losing his head. Speaking of incompetent chicks, I have just gotten word that Lillian Garcia is back in the training room with an update on the condition of Homicide after his injury earlier tonight. Lilly, sweetheart, what’s the word? Lillian Garcia: Actually, Mark, I have two words for ya- UP YOURS! I just spoke with the esteemed Dr. David Little, Chief Physician for NWA Heartland. Homicide has been sent to the hospital for x-rays on his wrist. He has NOT been cleared to compete in the Triple Threat Match. Back to you, Mark, and NO, I will not shave your back for you later tonight. Mark Madden (laughing): Oh, ya gotta love a dame with a little fire. But an unfortunate break for Homicide. He is out of the triple threat match, so we will instead see a one-on-one bout between CM PUNK and AJ STYLES for the right to challenge for the Junior X-Division Championship! AJ STYLES pinned CM PUNK(Referee: Brady Boone) AJ Styles survived a spectacular “spot-fest” match to outlast CM Punk and capture a shot at the NWA Junior X Title! Both men executed scintillating moves from the ropes and the turnbuckles, including an incredible running clothesline from Punk which sent Styles on a full flip in midair. But Styles recovered and the action resumed. Finally, Punk missed a diving clothesline and Styles took advantage, scooping him up for a Styles Clash to score the victory. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a spectacular contest. That one could easily have gone either way. But in the end, it was AJ Styles who picked up a hard-fought victory. I can’t wait to see him in action against NWA Junior X Champion DYNAMITE KID this Friday night on Fury. And now, fans, the time has finally come for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship rematch. This promises to be an awesome encounter! Let’s head to the ring where the lovely and talented Lillian Garcia awaits to bring us our introductions. MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, he is a former Heartland Heavyweight Champion. He is accompanied to the ring by RICK RUDE and PETEY WILLIAMS. He hails from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is BRET “THE HITMAN” HART!And his opponent is your NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion. He is accompanied to the ring by SHAWN MICHAELS and NIKITA KOLOFF. Hailing from Venice Beach, California, weighing in at 259 pounds, a member of the Soldiers of the Covenant, ladies and gentlemen, this is STING!BRET HART defeated STING to regain the Heartland Heavyweight Title(Referee: Joe Kopasz) This match was almost over before it started! RICK RUDE and PETEY WILLIAMS accompanied Hart to the ring, prompting NIKITA KOLOFF and SHAWN MICHAELS to come to ringside in support of Sting. Soon, all six men were in the ring with tensions escalating. Referee Joe Kopasz managed to clear the ring, then called for the bell. Hart began to intimidate the official and an argument between the two broke out. As Sting moved to the center of the ring, Williams sneaked behind him and delivered a chop block across the knees! Hart seized the opportunity to catch the champion in a running bulldog, and drag him to the center of the ring for a sharpshooter. The Soldiers battled Rude and Williams, but could not get into the ring to save Sting, who was forced to tap out and lose the belt! The fracas continued outside the ring, and the angry Soldiers took revenge upon Hart’s men. Koloff trapped Rude in a massive bear hug and rammed him, back first, into the steel ring post. Rude went down and stayed down as Tony Garea and Rene Goulet along with Heartland referees managed to separate the remaining combatants, but Rude remained down. Kopasz awarded the belt to Hart as he celebrated with Petey. An angry Sting stormed to the broadcast table and grabbed a microphone.Sting: Bret Hart! You filthy piece of trash! I am not finished with you! That’s twice that you have cheated your way to victory against me! When are you going to face me like a man? Alexandra York! Where are you? I demand a rematch against the Hitman- one on one, best man wins! The tune “Got You by the Balls” by AC/DC plays and Heartland Commissioner Alexandra York strides angrily to the ring. Alexandra York: Mister Hart- I am appalled at your lack of decorum and I personally do not believe you are fit to represent this territory as champion. However, I do stand behind the decision of our Senior Referee, and I have no choice but to allow you to carry the title. But Sting WILL have his rematch, and it will take place at Heartland Havoc V. Furthermore, this match will be a LAST MAN STANDING match, with one further stipulation. If there is any outside interference from anyone- and I don’t care if it is Shawn Michaels, or Petey Williams, or anyone else- that individual will be FIRED from this promotion! Ms. York hands the microphone to Lillian Garcia and leaves the ring. Sting holds the ropes for her as he glares at the Hitman. After she departs, Sting puts his hands to his mouth and screams to the crowd, beating his chest and staring down Hart. Hart puts the belt over his shoulder and leaves the arena with Petey Williams as the show fades to black.Lance Russell: Ladies and gentlemen, what a stunning turn of events! Once again, Bret Hart has taken the low road against Sting, and once again he wears the 15 pounds of Heartland Heavyweight gold around his waist. I am disgusted. I don’t blame Ms. York one bit for putting these two in a Last Man Standing match. Heartland Havoc V is shaping up to be quite a night as both Heartland titles will be on the line, and both of these heated feuds will be the focus of attention. We hope you will join us for Friday Night Fury this weekend as there will be two exciting title matches in store. The two men you just saw, STING and NIKITA KOLOFF, will join forces for a Tag Team Title match against the men who have a stranglehold on those belts, THE STEINER BROTHERS. We’ll also see the exciting matchup of AJ STYLES against DYNAMITE KID for the NWA Junior X Championship. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #32 Broadbent Arena, Louisville, Kentucky February 16, 2007 CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI defeated SHAWN MICHAELS by submission(Referee: Heather Owens) Michaels entered the match as a last-minute substitution for the injured Homicide. The Kid looked ill-prepared as Claudio took control early and nearly put him away with the Swi$$ Sleeperholding, leaving Michaels an easy victim for the Neutralizer which caused him to tap out. BAD NEWS ALLEN COAGE pinned RON SIMMONS(Referee: Brady Boone) Bad News came out with his typical fury, overwhelming Simmons and surprising him with a deathjump. Stunned, Simmons was unable to avoid the Ghetto Blaster and Coage picked up the decisive win. SHELTON BENJAMIN pinned MATT SYDAL(Referee: Danny Davis) A flurry of flying maneuvers by Benjamin allowed him to easily finish off Sydal with the T-Bone. ***INTERMISSION***THE PRINCES OF DANGER (BJ WHITMER & RODERICK STRONG w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated RICK RUDE & PETEY WILLIAMS (w/ SO CAL VAL) by disqualification(Referee: Heather Owens) The Princes looked sharp in their first match together, but Rude and Petey were equal to the task. Both managers were involved early and often, distracting the wrestlers and drawing the ire of Heather Owens. Roderick Strong took control of the match, dominating Rude with his vast array of backbreakers. The Ravishing One finally made the tag to Petey, who fared no better and finally hurled Strong out of the ring in frustration. But Petey attempted a high-risk plancha, and Strong ducked away, causing Petey to crash and burn on the concrete floor. With the match all but decided in favor of the Princes, a sudden commotion arose as BIG JOHN STUDD and WOMAN hit the ring and attack Whitmer from behind. Whitmer and Studd exchanged blows, as Woman and Allison tangled yet again! So Cal Val quickly cleared her wounded men out of the ring area.Studd came after Whitmer with a steel pipe, but BJ ducked away and smartly responded with a dropkick to the right leg of Studd, buckling his lower leg and dropping him to the floor. Whitmer picked up the pipe and went after the injured leg, but Strong intervened and prevented him from doing any further damage and risking suspension. Order was finally restored with the Princes being awarded the bout by disqualification. Studd had to be helped to his feet and limped badly back to the dressing room.NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
STING & NIKITA KOLOFF defeated THE STEINER BROTHERS to capture the titles!(Referee: Danny Davis) The two teams conducted a rugged, rough, but clean title match throughout. Rick wore out Sting badly, but Stinger escaped an attempted figure-4 by Scotty and tagged in Koloff. Koloff drilled Scotty with a Russian Sickle and it looked like a pin was imminent. This brought Rick into the ring, aiming at Koloff with a Steiner Line. But Nikita had the move well scouted, and ducked away, causing Rick to nail Scotty with another powerful clothesline. Sting pulled Rick from the ring and Koloff covered Scotty to earn the 1-2-3! NWA JUNIOR X CHAMPIONSHIP
DYNAMITE KID pinned AJ STYLES to retain the title!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Styles and the Kid tore up the arena in an epic bout. Dynamite took control early in the match, keeping Styles on the mat and wearing him down. Styles saw his opening and took to the air, stunning Dynamite with a springboard forearm strike. When DK went out of the ring for cover, Styles didn’t hesitate, hurling himself out of the ring with a slingshot senton splash and nailing the champ on the floor! Amazingly, Dynamite kicked out and the match continued. Styles grew more aggressive, but it cost him as he charged into the corner after the Kid, who ducked away and sent AJ crashing into the ring post. Dynamite quickly took to the air himself, connecting with a diving headbutt for a thrilling and hard fought victory! After the match, Dynamite helped AJ to his feet and the two competitors embraced as the show came to a close.

NWA Heartland Havoc V Ervin J. Nutter Center, Dayton, Ohio February 19, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Heartland Havoc V! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from Heartland Headquarters at the Nutter Center in Dayton with an exciting night of action! We have two title matches in store for you tonight, and both are championship rematches! In our main event, we will finally see the end of the issue between BRET HART and STING for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. The bad blood runs deep between these two, and it will come to a head tonight in a Last Man Standing match! And speaking of bad blood, we’ll also see another showdown tonight between CHRISTOPHER DANIELS and BIG JOHN STUDD with the Midwest Heavyweight Championship on the line! These two have been at odds since Studd and his manager WOMAN double-crossed Daniels and took his Midwest Title. ALLISON DANGER has stepped up to manage the Fallen Angel and has immediately developed a deep and intense hatred for Woman. The rivalry deepened in Bloomington on February 9, when Daniels defeated Studd and regained the Midwest Title! Tonight’s rematch promises to be another intense struggle in the long and storied history between these two. Mark Madden: That’s right, Lance, both our man events should be special. But first, we have some issues to settle. The rivalry between SHAWN MICHAELS and PETEY WILLIAMS continues to intensify. We all know how much Petey idolizes Bret Hart, and he has made it his personal mission to take out the man who screwed his hero in their beloved homeland. SINGAPORE CANE MATCH PETEY WILLIAMS defeated SHAWN MICHAELS(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Petey and Shawn renewed their hostilities in a vicious brawl. At first, they neglected the cane and simply beat each other with fists and fury. Soon enough, Petey brought the cane into play and drilled Michaels across the forehead. Petey whipped him to the ropes and nailed him again! Shawn was stunned, and Williams quickly took advantage with a crushing Canadian Destroyer and a pin. As Michaels lay stunned, Petey went back to the cane, beating Michaels and attacking his recently injured knee! Williams' associates, RICK RUDE and SO CAL VAL, came to the ring and cheered him on. NIKITA KOLOFF attempted to save Shawn, but Rude held Koloff at bay as Williams savagely beat Michaels and worked over his knee. So Cal Val seemed especially delighted as Michaels suffered a brutal beating and was left laying in the ring.Mark Madden: Wow! Petey really stepped up his game for this match. I bet the Hitman is proud of his little buddy. It looks like Michaels has reinjured his knee and will require assistance to get back to the dressing room. But now, it is my sincere pleasure to welcome the hottest manager in all the Heartland for a very special announcement! Woman walks to the announce table as Madden watches and grins widely. Madden nearly falls flat on his face as he extends the microphone to her.Woman: Thank you, Mr. Madden. It is certainly a pleasure for me to make your acquaintance. It is always good to have friends in high places. Especially when a woman as powerful and beautiful as I am makes enemies, too. Not that Allison Danger is any sort of a threat… but she is a nuisance and she must be dealt with. So tonight, I am here to introduce my new tag team, whom I have brought here for the very purpose of protecting my assets. Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present, JAY and MARK, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS!TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) defeated THE PRINCES OF DANGER (RODERICK STRONG & BJ WHITMER w/ ALLISON DANGER)(Referee: Brady Boone) After the two teams brawled extensively, the Princes slowed down the pace. Strong took control over Mark Briscoe with an impressive flurry of backbreakers, but Jay Briscoe broke up the pin attempt. As Brady Boone put Jay out of the ring, Strong tagged out to Whitmer. BJ pursued Mark to the Briscoes corner, where Woman greeted him with a handful of powder to the face! As Whitmer staggered, Mark and Jay teamed up for the Spike J-Driller and Jay covered him for the pinfall. Following the decision, Whitmer went into a rage and went after Jay Briscoe. Still blinded, Whitmer was unable to pick the appropriate target, instead nailing Brady Boone with a devastating clothesline! Boone crumbled to the mat as Woman and the Briscoes beat a hasty retreat from the ring.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Woman certainly has found herself quite a tag team with these Briscoe Brothers. Not only did she get the best of Allison Danger tonight, but Brady Boone took the worst of that encounter and needs to be helped back to the locker room. Worse yet, I think Mark Madden may also need an oxygen tank after that interview. Seems like no matter where Woman travels, trouble follows. TRIPLE THREAT MATCH CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI defeated AJ STYLES and SAMOA JOE (Referee: Danny Davis)Claudio earns a title match! The Swiss sensation nailed Joe with a Cough Drop, sending him tumbling out of the ring. Styles attempted a suicide dive on Joe and missed, slamming hard to the concrete floor. Claudio took advantage of the opportunity, pulling Joe back into the ring and applying his Swi$$ Sleeperholding. Still groggy, Joe succumbed to the hold and Claudio captured the victory! Lance Russell: How about that! Claudio had to be considered the underdog in this match, but he took advantage of an opportunity and outsmarted Joe and AJ to earn himself a title match. Whether he is out of his league against Bret Hart remains to be seen. It’s time to go to break now. Be sure to visit the Heartland souvenir stand while we are away and pick up your copy of “Claudio on Claudio: The Autobiography of Claudio”- get it now, it’s sure to be a best seller! ***INTERMISSION***HEARTLAND MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN) pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) to recapture the belt!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Despite an ankle injury Studd suffered at the hands of Strong and Whitmer, the giant was able to overpower Daniels and dominate most of the bout. Allison Danger was able to distract Studd and turn the match on a couple of occasions, but Studd kept his focus and put away Daniels with a full nelson suplex to regain the championship! Mark Madden: There you have it, folks. Twice tonight, Woman has taken the measure of this wannabe Allison Danger. She should just go back to waitressing. Studd has the Midwest Title back around his waist where it belongs, and I don’t see Daniels or anyone else as a threat. Now let’s go to the main event for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: LAST MAN STANDING BRET HART defeated STING to retain the title!(Referee: Danny Davis) In a back-and-forth, intense confrontation, Bret Hart outlasted Sting to retain the Heavyweight Championship! Hart tool control of the match in the early stages, punishing Sting outside of the ring with the ringpost figure-4 and a sharpshooter on the concrete floor. Sting managed to get back into the ring, dodging a charging Hart and sending the champion slamming into the steel ring post. Sting then tortured Hart in the Scorpion Deathlock, howling to the crowd as Hart screamed in agony. Hart finally reached the bottom rope, and Davis called for the break. Hart made it to his feet at the count of six and the match continued! Hart managed to turn the contest back into his favor, again taking action outside of the ring and slamming Sting face first to the steel steps. Stinger went down and Hart took control. Hart wrapped Sting up in the figure-4 around the post again, and he was helpless and unable to escape. Sting collapsed upside down as Hart poured on the pressure, and Davis called for the bell. Lance Russell: What a match! You gotta hand it to the Hitman for that performance. It’s not every day you can get the best of the Stinger. Hart has captured the championship and for this night, has captured the respect of the Heartland. Fans, thank you for joining us for Havoc V tonight! For Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

The Irish Airborne are Jake and Dave Crist, two brothers from just outside Dayton who are just breaking in to the big time. www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/i/irish-airborn.htmlThey have been the superstars of the local Heartland Wrestling Association, and recently made the roster of Ring of Honor. I have bootleg cards from the LOW Creations yahoo group. One of the greatest ladder matches I have ever seen was Dave vs. Jake at HWA Cyberclash last year. Thanks for watching the Fed!

NWA Heartland Card #33 Events Center, Clarkston, Tennessee February 26, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans, and welcome back to the Volunteer State! This is Lance Russell bringing you another action-packed episode of Monday Night Adrenaline! We have an outstanding card tonight, including a special main event rematch for the Heartland Tag Team Titles! The new champions, the SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT, will be defending the gold against the former champions, THE STEINER BROTHERS! These two teams have the mutual respect, but there is a growing rivalry developing here and tonight's match should add to that legacy. Mark Madden: That's right, Lance. And we have a tremendous undercard planned! The NWA has been on a hiatus recently, and Alexandra York has taken advantage by signing some new talent to come to the Heartland. Tonight, we will see the debut of AUSTIN ARIES, and the return of BRYAN DANIELSON to the Heartland. I can't wait! CARLITO (w/ MELINA) pinned AUSTIN ARIES(referee: Heather Owens) The newcomer Aries started quickly, but Carlito turned the tables with a spinebuster slam and went on an awesome flurry, finally pinning Aries after a swinging neckbreaker. BRYAN DANIELSON defeated CHRIS HERO by submission(referee: Joe Kopasz) The self-proclaimed "best wrestler in the world" took the best that Hero had to offer, then reversed an attempted choke slam into a Dragon suplex and trapped Hero in the Cattle Mutilation, forcing Hero to tap out. Mark Madden: Wow! Danielson has not lost a step during his absence. Tough break for Aries in his debut. But now, we get the best of the newcomers! The fabulous team of the BRISCOE BROTHERS, led by the most fabulous lady on the planet, the beautiful and deadly WOMAN!THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) defeated HEART AND SOUL (CM PUNK & SHELTON BENJAMIN)(referee: Danny Davis) Both teams tagged in and out crisply, exchanging moves evenly until Woman nailed Punk with a vicious low blow and Mark Briscoe pinned him with a Cut-Throat Driver. Lance Russell: You gotta be kidding me. What on earth is the problem with this lady? That was a perfectly competitive match and her cheap shot was completely unnecessary. I am disgusted. Let's go to a break. The Heartland Snack Shop is open for business tonight! The Tennessee corn dogs are especially tasty with a little spicy mustard- take my word for it, Madden has already downed a half dozen of them tonight. ***INTERMISSION***AJ STYLES pinned SAMOA JOE(referee: Brady Boone) AJ seized an early opportunity, ducking away as Joe charged him at the turnbuckle. Styles went immediately to the Styles Clash, not once but twice, and Joe kicked out both times. AJ went to the air, nailing Joe with a springboard crescent kick to set up a third Styles Clash and a pinfall as the crowd was stunned! Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! What an upset! I don't think anyone saw that coming. This puts Styles in line for a #1 contenders' match. Joe is clearly disappointed and frustrated. He's been in the top 10 consistently, but can't seem to get over the hill to earn a title match. Let's go back to the ring where Lillian Garcia is waiting to introduce our main event. MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the Heartland Tag Team Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challengers, at a total combined weight of 490 pounds, hailing from Bay City, Michigan, they are your former tag team champions. Here are RICK AND SCOTTY, THE STEINER BROTHERS!The tune of "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses blasts through the arena as the Steiners stride intently down to the ring. Lillian Garcia: And their opponents are your Heartland Tag Team Champions! At a total combined weight of 534 pounds, representing the SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT, here are NIKITA KOLOFF and STING!"My Sacrifice" by Creed blares through the arena as the champions head to the ring. Both teams are respectful, but intense, as they square off in the center of the ring. Handshakes are exchanged as Sting and Rick prepare to lock up. Kopasz calls for the bell!THE STEINER BROTHERS defeated THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (STING & NIKITA KOLOFF) to regain the titles!(referee: Joe Kopasz) An epic encounter between two highly competitive teams! The challengers trapped Sting in the ring for a long period of time, twice delivering their patented tag team finishers. Both times, Nikita made the save before Kopasz could count three, but Stinger was clearly on his last legs. Sting finally tagged into Nikita, who charged at Scotty but mistimed his approach. Koloff slammed hard into the turnbuckle, and Scotty immediately rolled him up and Kopasz delivered the three-count! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a stunning finish! Fans, once again we have new tag team champions! The Steiner Brothers have recaptured the Tag Team Titles! History is made here in Clarksville! And a fine display of sportsmanship as Nikita and Sting hand over the belts and shake the hands of the new champs. This type of match makes me proud to be affiliated with the NWA. And I am sure these two teams will be in action again soon! Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for joining us tonight. The Heartland will be back next Monday night with another exciting night of action. The main event will be another championship rematch. The Midwest Heavyweight Championship will be on the line once again as BIG JOHN STUDD defends the belt against his heated rival, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. Don't you dare miss it! For Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #34 Viking Hall, Bristol, Tennessee March 5, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans, and welcome to the latest installment of Monday Night Adrenaline! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from Bristol, Tennessee, with an exciting night of Heartland action! Our main event this evening will be the fifth- and FINAL- confrontation between BIG JOHN STUDD and CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! Commissioner Alexandra York has decreed it! These two have traded the Midwest Heavyweight Title repeatedly, and tonight's match will take place in a Steel Cage! No managers, no interference, no disqualifications. Studd and Daniels, mano a mano, for the final time until a winner is declared. I can't wait! Mark Madden: What a crock! Studd is still nursing an ankle injury! Without WOMAN at his side, the big man is at a distinct disadvantage. Ms. York is smarter than that! This is a total screw job! SCOTTY STEINER defeated KONNAN by disqualification(referee: Heather Owens) After a long a drawn-out battle, Scotty gradually gained control, nearly forcing a submission from Konnan with the STF. Frustrated, Konnan went outside the ring and slammed Scotty's head into the steel steps. Heather Owens called for the DQ, but HOMICIDE and HERNANDEZ came to the ring and began to attack Scotty until RICK STEINER made the save. Scotty came away from the match with a large gash on his forehead and required 13 stitches to get the injury under control. DELIRIOUS pinned SHELTON BENJAMIN(referee: Brady Boone) In a brief but fast-paced match, Delirious took control by escaping from a powerbomb and nailing Benjamin with a leaping clothesline. Delirious quickly stunned Shelton with the Shadows over Hell, and executed a brutal Chemical Imbalance #2 for a decisive win! Lillian Garcia: I am here in the trainer's room with Scotty Steiner. Scotty, can you give us an update on your condition? That was quite a nasty gash you suffered! Scotty Steiner: I don't care! Lillian, I swear to you, I will get my hands on that Mexican idiot Konnan! I challenge you to a rematch- no disqualification! Rick Steiner: Dude! Chill out! We still have a title defense against NIKITA and STING! You can't get into a fight with Konnan now! Think about it! The door to the training room bursts open and KONNAN rushes in with HOMICIDE and HERNANDEZ. The three attack Scotty again as Rick tries to fend them off and protect his brother! Rick grabs Konnan and hurls him toward the whirlpool and the two begin brawling furiously. Homicide pulls out a flapjack and goes after Scotty again as Hernandez grabs his arms and the mugging continues! Finally, NIKITA KOLOFF and STING storm into the room, grabbing the members of LAX and shoving them out into the hallway. Steiner shoves Konnan out of the room, and Konnan decides to call off the attack. Konnan: You wanna fight me, Steiner! You got it! Friday Night Fury, you and me! Lillian Garcia (Shrieking): Oh my! Help! Thank goodness for Sting and Nikita! THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI) defeated BRYAN DANIELSON & NIGEL MCGUINESS by disqualification(referee: Joe Kopasz) The match almost ended when Danielson trapped Claudio in the Cattle Mutiliation, but Hero made the save and Claudio escaped to the floor. The brawl spilled outside the ring, where Danielson was disqualified for slamming Claudio to the ring steps. Joe Kopasz quickly intervened, separating the combatants before the brawl could escalate. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Another match, another wild DQ. What's gotten in to the boys tonight? Just once I would like to see a decent match in the ring. I think we need to take a break to get things back under control. Let's go to intermission. Be sure to stop by the Box Office while you're with us- advance tickets to the DukesFest are on sale now! You won't want to miss the greatest Dukes of Hazzard tribute on the planet, so get your tickets now! ***INTERMISSION***RICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated NIKITA KOLOFF by disqualification(referee: Danny Davis) Danny Davis was at the center of controversy in this match, pulling the trigger on Nikita Koloff after a brief confrontation outside the ring. At the pleading of So Cal Val, Davis called for the bell and awarded the match to Rude. Koloff protested loudly, but was restrained by STING to prevent further trouble. Rude and Val quickly headed back to the locker room after stealing the win. Mark Madden: Oh, Val! That was brilliant! Rude gets the victory by DQ - AND a number one contenders' match against AJ STYLES! If has sure been a rough night for the Soldiers. Finally, fans, the cage is being lowered and it's time for the Main Event! MAIN EVENT - MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - STEEL CAGE SHOWDOWNCHRISTOPHER DANIELS defeated BIG JOHN STUDD to regain the Midwest Heavyweight Title!Daniels kept Studd off-balance with a "stick and move" strategy as the big man continues to nurse an injured right ankle. As Studd wore down, Daniels saw his opportunity, grounding him with a charging high knee and locking in the figure-4! Studd held out for a long time, and Daniels finally released the hold. But the Fallen Angel had another plan, springing to the ropes and nailing Studd with the Best Moonsault Ever as he lay on the mat. Studd was immobilized and unable to prevent Daniels from escaping the cage and regaining the title! Lance Russell: What a performance! I think the Fallen Angel has put an end to this rivalry once and for all, and it is back to the drawing board for Studd and Woman. Congratulations to Daniels on regaining the title! Fans, it has been a great night here in Bristol. Thank you for joining us! We'll be back again Friday night with an exciting episode of Fury, featuring the grudge match between SCOTTY STEINER and KONNAN! Don't you dare miss it! NWA Heartland Card #35 Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis, Tennessee March 9, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the latest addition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, and tonight we are excited to bring you six great matches from the heart of wrestling in the southern U.S.- the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis! Our main event tonight will be a grudge match, no disqualification, pitting SCOTTY STEINER against KONNAN, in the wake of the incident which occurred Monday night on Adrenaline. But before we go to the ring, we’re going to check in with Lillian Garcia backstage with a special interview. Lillian Garcia: Thank you, Lance. I am here with TAZ, who has asked for time tonight to give us a special announcement. Taz, what’s on your mind, my friend? Taz: Thanks, Lillian, you’re not so bad yourself for a tomato. I have become frustrated with the lack of progress I’ve made here in the Heartland, both in my own matches and in my tag team with SAMOA JOE. I am here to announce that I have hired a new manager! I present to you, TRACY BROOKS!THE MASTERS OF SUBMISSION (SAMOA JOE & TAZ w/ TRACY BROOKS) defeated LAX (w/ KONNAN)(Referee: Brady Boone) A long and exciting battle saw new manager Tracy neutralize the presence of Konnan! After a pin save by Tracy, Samoa Joe took over, pinning Hernandez after a pair of Island Drivers. Mark Madden: I guess Taz was right- it does help to have somebody to watch your back in this business. And Tracy Brooks ain’t a bad choice! I can watch her back while she watches his. Everybody wins in the end! (No pun intended, of course.) BUFF BAGWELL (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned STING(Referee: Joe Kopasz) A major upset! Sting controlled the early phases of this contest, until he missed a charge into the corner and slammed shoulder-first into the steel. Bagwell took over with surprising aggression, assaulting Sting inside the ring and out. After Bagwell nailed Sting with a flying clothesline from the top turnbuckle, he delivered an awesome double-arm DDT and pinned Sting cleanly, much to the shock of the Memphis crowd. Lance Russell: Wow! What a match for “Big Time” Bagwell! Sting has been through some intense struggles with BRET HART, so I guess he’s a little off his game right now. Fans- I have just gotten word that there is a commotion in the backstage area- let’s see if we can get a camera back there to see what is happening! The camera comes on back stage as THE BRISCOE BROTHERS are seen engaged in a wild brawl with RODERICK STRONG. WOMAN directs the brothers as they put the boots to Roderick. Strong’s opponent for the evening, CURT HENNIG, stands by watching in amusement. ALLISON DANGER arrives on the seen quickly, coming to the defense of her man Roderick. Allison calls for CHRISTOPHER DANIELS, who helps Strong to fight off the Briscoes as she shrieks at Woman. Strong escapes to the entrance to the ring as Hennig follows with a smirk.RODERICK STRONG defeated CURT HENNIG by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) After Strong escaped the attack from Woman, he appeared to enter the match at a disadvantage, but quickly turned the tables with his superior technique. Strong weakened Hennig with a series of backbreakers and a pair of powerbombs into the turnbuckle, setting up the Stronghold for a submission victory. Lance Russell: Well, I guess Woman’s little ploy failed that time, thanks to some quick thinking by Allison and a very strong performance by Roderick. With his partner BJ WHITMER under suspension, Roderick really needs to step it up and tonight he did just that. What an exciting night it has been! Let’s head to intermission now. Be sure to check out the Memphis Wrestling Wall of Fame, featuring the newest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, JERRY “THE KING” LAWLER!***INTERMISSION***CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned TAZ (w/ TRACY BROOKS)(Referee: Heather Owens) In a non-title match, Midwest Champion Daniels dispatched Taz with the Angel’s Wings. Allison and Tracy kept a close watch on each other, but neither manager attempted to interfere. Mark Madden: What an interesting contest! Both Allison and Tracy are new on the scene, testing each other out. Allison has enough enemies already, so she is smart not to mess with this new gal. Daniels continues to roll! HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS’ MATCHTHE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI) defeated HEART AND SOUL (CM PUNK & SHELTON BENJAMIN)(Referee: Danny Davis) Hero was the dominant force in this match, beating down Punk and pinning him after a high-impact choke slam. The scene shift to video footage from Monday Night Adrenaline as KONNAN slams SCOTTY STEINER face first onto the ringside steps, opening up a large cut on his forehead. Footage of the LAX attack on Scotty in the training room follows as we see HOMICIDE attacking the head of Scotty with his flapjack before being chased away by RICK STEINER and NIKITA KOLOFF.MAIN EVENT: NO DISQUALIFICATION GRUDGE MATCHSCOTTY STEINER (w/ RICK STEINER & NIKITA KOLOFF) pinned KONNAN (w/ LAX)In a wild main event which looked more like a battle royal than a singles match, Scotty Steiner pinned Konnan after Nikita Koloff entered the ring and leveled Konnan with a Russian Sickle. Steiner had just kicked out after a DDT from Homicide which busted open his gash and caused him to bleed profusely. After the match, the brawl escalated and all six men became involved. In a shocking turn of events, Hernandez caught Scotty Steiner from behind and slammed his injured head into a monitor at the ringside announce table. Steiner crumpled into a heap on the concrete floor, where he lay motionless for a period of several minutes. Paramedics were called to the scene, and Steiner was placed on a stretcher and removed from the Coliseum via ambulance as LAX taunted and celebrated.Lance Russell: What a shocking incident! Scotty looks to be in bad shape. We can only hope for the best for him. This is certainly a sad way to close out an exciting night of wrestling. We’ll update you on Scotty’s condition soon. Fans, we do thank you for joining us tonight. We hope to see you again on Monday night for the next episode of Adrenaline. Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #36 Allen Arena, Nashville, Tennessee March 12, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight’s exciting edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! We are coming to you live tonight from the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. I am your host, Lance Russell, but before we get to tonight’s action, we bring you a special announcement from Heartland Commissioner ALEXANDRA YORK.Ms. York appears on the Titantron.Alexandra York: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It is with the deepest regret that I inform you that, as a result of the incident which took place on Friday night in Memphis, that SCOTTY STEINER has been diagnosed with a grade III concussion. Mr. Steiner will be out of action indefinitely. As a result, he will be unable to defend the Heartland Tag Team Titles as scheduled tonight. The severity of his injury is such that the Heartland Board of Directors has determined that the Tag Team Titles are officially vacated. An announcement as to the future of the belts will be forthcoming. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Fans, I am shocked and saddened by this news about Scotty Steiner. Scotty has been a great competitor here in the Heartland, winning both the Heartland Heavyweight Championship and the tag team titles. What a disappointment! The music of Koonan’s Dawgs begins to blare over the loudspeakers as KONNAN, HERNANDEZ, and HOMICIDE approach the announce table.Konnan: Yo, yo, yo! Let me speak on this! Let me be the first to congratulate LAX for taking over the tag team division! My hombre Hernandez has put Scotty Steiner out to pasture and now the gold belongs to LAX. It’s the rule of the streets, you get what you take! Orale! Arriba La Raza! Mark Madden: Now wait just a minute, Konnan. This ain’t the streets of Mexico City, this is the Heartland. You don’t just take a Championship Title by eliminating the competition with a bunch of back alley brutality. This ain’t no bingo hall garbage wrestling like that crap that MARC KANTER runs up north. These titles will be awarded to the team that earns it inside the squared circle, NWA style. So why don’t you take your Mexican flunkies and step back until we hear the official word from the Heartland Championship Committee! Konnan: No, why don’t YOU step back, fat boy. You best stay out of my face and out of LAX business! Konnan places his hand on Madden’s face and shoves him to the floor. Homicide and Hernandez climb over the announce table and begin pummeling Madden. The beating continues until STING, NIKITA KOLOFF, and RICK STEINER charge to ringside and pull the members of LAX off the fallen announcer. Konnan leads his men away from the ring area, scowling and gesturing at Sting. As Nikita helps Madden to his feet, Sting takes the microphone.Sting: LAX! You cowards! If you’re not backjumping my buddy Scotty Steiner, you’re ganging up on a helpless announcer. Watch your backs, boys! Madden, you tell the committee that Nikita and me are coming back for the belts! Rick, why don’t you find a new partner and get in on this action too! YYEEOOWW!! Sting drops the microphone and pounds his chest, then leaves the ring area with Rick and Koloff.Lance Russell: Wow! What action! I gotta hand it to you, Mark, I am impressed that you stood up to Konnan that way. Thank heavens for Sting and his soldiers coming to your rescue. Let’s head to the ring for our first match! NIGEL MCGUINESS pinned BATISTA (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Brady Boone) The savvy Brit took advantage of Batista's injured leg, trapping him with an English Ankle Pick. Batista managed to make it to the ropes for an escape, but Nigel caught him getting to his feet and drilled him with a stunning DDT for a pinfall! BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN) defeated COLT CABANA by submission(Referee: Heather Owens) After losing his Midwest title, Studd was in no mood for the comedic antics of Cabana. The Giant Studd quickly put aside Colt with a brutal club followed by a Giant Backbreaker. Mark Madden: Now that’s what I’m talking about! Wrestling! Good old-fashioned competition in the center of the ring. And nobody can guide a contender like the beautiful WOMAN.Woman sashays to the announce table and takes the microphone.Woman: Hello, Mark. How lovely to see you again. Would you be a dear and tell your little Championship Committee that my BRISCOE BROTHERS are in position to bring back the Tag Team Titles? Of course you know, my Briscoes are undefeated in the Heartland, so of course we are in line for a shot at the gold! Mark Madden: Why… of course, Woman… I will gladly put in a good word for you with the committee! Woman gives Madden a peck on the cheek and slinks back to the locker room. Madden, clearly distracted, grabs a bottle of water and drinks deeply, then mops the sweat from his brow.HOMICIDE pinned CM PUNK(Referee: Danny Davis) In a tightly competitive match, Homicide turned the momentum on Punk with a running clothesline off the ropes and pinned him with a perfect cross-body block from the top rope. Lance Russell: An excellent showing for both Punk and Homicide, two rising young stars in this business. I don’t like the company that Homicide keeps, but you gotta respect his ability in that ring. That will take us to our intermission, folks. I believe Mark Madden has gone for a cold shower after that conversation with Woman. And while we’re away, maybe you all should stop by the Heartland Concession Stand for a cold beverage! A soda for your lips, from the good folks here at Lipscomb college. We’ll be right back! ***INTERMISSION***BATISTA & CARLITO (w/ MELINA) defeated AJ STYLES & CHRIS SABIN(Referee: Brady Boone) Styles and Sabin looked sharp in their return to tag action. Melina was kicked out of the match early on by Brady Boone after connecting with a low blow on Styles. The match continued on, and Batista methodically wore down Sabin to the tune of SEVEN tokens! Sabin finally tagged out to AJ, who nailed Batista with a springboard forearm strike and put him on the canvas with a Styles Clash! When AJ went for the cover, Carlito hit the ring and soon all four men were brawling. Batista recovered enough to plant Styles with a spear and pin him as Sabin and Carlito were tangled up. Lance Russell: So, Batista pulls double duty tonight here in Nashville, this time with better results. Batista and Carlito pick up the victory. Do they have what it takes to capture the belts? Still no word from Madden after the break. I wonder what he is up to? Perhaps we will find out before the end of the night. But now, let’s go to our main event! Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 232 pounds, he hails from the United Bank of Switzerland, here is CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI!And his opponent is your NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion. From Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is the “Excellence of Execution”, BRET “THE HITMAN” HART!MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPBRET HART pinned CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI to retain the title!Hart made short work of the Swiss challenger, taking him down with a running bulldog and dominating the action in a technical masterpiece. Hart cleanly finished Claudio with a devastating piledriver to keep the title. Lance Russell: A great job by the Hitman to retain the title. With Sting out of the way, I wonder who will step up next to challenge Hart for the championship? Tonight was a clear demonstration of the Excellence of Execution. Fans, I have just been informed that Mark Madden has been called to an emergency meeting of the Heartland Championship Committee. I expect we’ll get an announcement within the next few days about the Tag Team Championship! We’ll be back this weekend with a special edition of Fury. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #37 Lima Civic Center, Lima, Ohio March 16, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the latest edition of Friday Night Fury! We are coming to you live from the Civic Center in Lima, Ohio, with a very special night of action. Before we go to the ring, we have an important announcement from my broadcast partner, Mark Madden. Mark? Mark Madden: Thank you, Lance. It is my privilege to report that Heartland Commissioner ALEXANDRA YORK has appointed me as the Director of the Tag Team Division in NWA Heartland. Since the tag team titles are vacant, my first order of business will be to announce that the championship committee has approved an eight-team tournament to crown new champions. The first round of this tournament will take place tonight, right here in Lima, Ohio! First off, allow me to introduce the members of the Championship Committee. First, we have a Cleveland native and a well-known sports personality, and my colleague at ESPN Radio, MIKE GOLIC. Secondly, a lovely and talented lady with first-hand knowledge of the world of professional wrestling, COURTENEY COX. And last, but certainly not least, he is a world-famous martial arts expert and television star, the one and only CHUCK NORRIS! And now, here are the participants for tonight’s opening round of the tag team tournament, as they are seeded by the championship committee: (1) NIKITA KOLOFF & STING vs. (8) RODERICK STRONG & BJ WHITMER(The camera shifts backstage, where Strong and Whitmer are seen with manager ALLISON DANGER, clearly unhappy with receiving the lowest seed in the bracket.)Allison Danger: Number 8 seed? Freakin Chuck Norris…. (2) CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. (7) CARLITO & BATISTA (3) SAMOA JOE & TAZZ vs. (6) JAY & MARK BRISCOE (4) HOMICIDE & HERNANDEZ vs. (5) RICK STEINER & A MYSTERY PARTNEROn behalf of Commissioner York, and myself, I would like to thank the championship committee for their efforts in preparing this tournament. Back to you, Lance. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Thank you Mark, and a fine job you have done in creating an exciting tournament for the Heartland Tag Team Championship. Let’s head to the ring for our opening contest! THE PRINCES OF DANGER (RODERICK STRONG & BJ WHITMER w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (NIKITA KOLOFF & STING)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The tournament starts with a huge upset! The Princes took over on Sting early, using frequent tags and wearing him down. Whitmer hit a pair of exploders, and on the second occasion appeared to have Sting finished off, but Nikita came in to make the save. A huge four-way brawl ensued, but referee Kopasz allowed the action to continue. An exhausted Sting managed to tag out to Koloff, who held his own against both Princes for some time before Whitmer drilled him with a swinging DDT. Koloff chose not to tag out as Sting remained weakened, but Strong tagged in and wrapped up Nikita in the Stronghold. With Sting unable to assist, Koloff ultimately tapped out and the Princes emerged victorious! THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI) defeated BATISTA & CARLITO (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Brady Boone) Superior teamwork carried the Kings to victory over Melina's duo. Frequent tags seemed to frustrate Batista, who tried to take the action outside of the ring. When Brady Boone instructed Batista to get back into the ring, Hero caught him with a monkey flip into a spear by Claudio. The pair followed with the Hero's Welcome Kings of Wrestling Edition to finish Batista and advance to the semifinals. Lance Russell: Wow! Two great matches to kick off the tournament. You have to hand it to Mark Madden, he has outdone himself this time! It seems that tag team experience and expertise are the keys to victory in this competition. Hats off to the Kings, and to Allison Danger and her men for advancing to the semifinals. THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) defeated THE MASTERS OF SUBMISSION (SAMOA JOE & TAZ)(Referee: Heather Owens) Mark Briscoe dominated this match for the Brothers, nailing Joe with a pair of springboard dropkicks to stun him. Joe rallied, hitting Mark with an enzuigiri and following with the Coquina Clutch, but Mark was able to reach the bottom rope with an assist from Woman. Woman hauled Mark out of the ring and appeared to have words with him. Joe tried to take advantage by climbing to the top rope, but Jay alertly shoved Joe to the canvas and Mark covered him for a surprising three-count! Lance Russell: Another fine performance! Woman has her team clicking on all cylinders. Could another showdown with Allison Danger be ahead? We still have two more great matches after the break. We will see a number one contenders’ match for the Heartland Heavyweight Title, and the final opening round contest in our tag team tournament. Who will Rick Steiner bring in as a partner? Be sure not to miss the Heartland Souvenir Stand during the break. Plenty of DVD’s available, and free autographs from our local hero, Lima’s favorite son, AL SNOW!***INTERMISSION***HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS MATCHLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back for more Heartland wrestling action! The following contest is a number one contenders’ match for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. The winner of this contest will receive a title match against your NWA Heartland Champion, BRET “THE HITMAN” HART. Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, from Gainesville, Georgia, weighing in at 215 pounds, “The Phenomenal” AJ STYLES! And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by SO CAL VAL, weighing in at 246 pounds, from Robbinsdale, Minnesota, he is RAVISHING RICK RUDE!
RICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned AJ STYLES(Referee: Danny Davis) Styles started quickly, dazzling Rude with a springboard forearm strike, but Rude slowed the match down and went to roughhousing tactics to take control. Rude clotheslined AJ out of his boots, and followed with a pair of Rude Awakenings for a decisive victory. Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! I thought AJ’s head was going to fly right off! Congratulations to Rick Rude for the victory. But now, I want to bring out RICK STEINER to ringside. We need to know right now who you intend to team up with tonight. “Hail to the Victors” plays on the sound system. Steiner, in his Michigan jacket, parades to the ring with a grin.Rick Steiner: Hi, Mark! Mark Madden: Um, hi, Rick. Enough of the pleasantries. Who will be your partner tonight? Rick Steiner: Hey, Mark- guess what? I found a great partner! He wrestles as good as Scotty! We’ll get those Mexican dummies tonight for sure! “Hail to the Victors” plays on the sound system. Another figure in a Michigan jacket appears at the top of the ramp and strides proudly down to the ring.Mark Madden: I don’t believe it! EUGENE ?!?!?!? Good heavens, I didn’t think Steiner could find someone goofier than he is, but he managed it. I’m not sure either of these clowns has a clue what they are in for against the LAX. LAX defeated RICK STEINER & EUGENE(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The team of Steiner and Eugene came out quickly, laying into Homicide with a fury. Rick pummeled Homicide viciously, but Homicide took Steiner's best shots and managed to tag out to Hernandez. The big man took considerable punishment from both Steiner and Eugene. The Lima crowd went nuts when the duo executed the Steiner Bulldog, but Hernandez kicked out. Hernandez soon tok over on Rick, and in an amazing display of power he connected with two consecutive Megabombs to pin Steiner. Exhausted, LAX collected themselves and left the ring area with no further incident, stopping at the top of the ramp and gesturing for the belts as they glared back at Rick and Eugene. Lance Russell: Fans, what a great night of action from the Heartland! The tag team division is loaded with talent and I can’t wait to see the conclusion of this tournament. Congratulations also to Rick Rude, who earned a shot at the Heartland Heavyweight Championship tonight. I’ll be looking forward to seeing him square off against the Hitman with the belt on the line. Thank you for joining us from Lima, Ohio tonight. We’ll be back on Monday with another episode of Adrenaline, featuring a Midwest Heavyweight Championship match pitting the champion, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS, against “MR. BIG TIME”, BUFF BAGWELL. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #38 Sky Bank Arena, Findlay, Ohio March 19, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Monday Night Adrenaline! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from Findlay, Ohio with an exciting night of action! We have an exciting main event planned for this evening with the Midwest Heavyweight Championship on the line! CHRISTOPHER DANIELS will be in action, defending his title against "MR. BIG TIME" BUFF BAGWELL. We'll also see the first semifinal matchup in the tag team tournament as the KINGS OF WRESTLING take on THE BRISCOE BROTHERS. Let's get right to the ring for tonight's action! AUSTIN ARIES defeated BATISTA (w/ MELINA) by submission(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The troubles for the big man continued. Aries used his quickness and savvy to overcome the stronger Batista. After Melina was inadvertently knocked off the ring apron, Aries caught Batista with a piledriver off the ropes, then quickly locked in the Rings of Saturn. Batista struggled, but Aries smartly used his own leverage and power against him to force the bigger foe to tap out. RODERICK STRONG pinned BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN)(Referee: Danny Davis) Studd and Woman were in control most of this match before Studd missed a falling axe handle outside the ring. Strong took advantage with a whip to the ropes followed by a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, stunning the Giant. Strong followed up with a fireman's carry into a devastating gutbuster and shocked the Findlay crowd with a pinfall victory! Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! What a rough night for the big men! That just goes to show, anything can happen in this business. Two matches, two upsets, two of the giants of the Heartland tasting defeat. Who'da thunk it? But now, fans, I am honored to present the first semifinal matchup in the tag team tournament as the BRISCOE BROTHERS take on the KINGS OF WRESTLING. The winner of this match will advance to the finals and have a shot at the gold! THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) defeated THE KINGS OF WRESTLING(Referee: Heather Owens) A tremendous match with a disappointing ending. The Kings and the Briscoes staged a highly competitive, back-and-forth match with all four men giving and taking their share of punishment. Hero had Mark Briscoe in big trouble after a Hangman's Clutch II, but Briscoe managed to free himself with help from his brother. Woman then interfered, nailing Hero with a low blow as Heather Owens put Jay out of the ring. Mark followed with a pair of cut-throat drivers and pinned Hero as Claudio battled with Jay. Lance Russell: What a cheap shot! I am disgusted. Somebody needs to put a stop to that shrew before she ruins Madden’s tournament. Of course, knowing Madden, he is just as interested in flirting with Woman as in doing his job. I guess that remains to be seen. Okay, folks, it’s time to go to intermission. The Sky Bank Snack Shop is open for business with a fresh supply of Roethlisburgers. Get ‘em while they’re hot! ***INTERMISSION***During the intermission, Mark Madden is seen conferring quietly with Heartland referee Brady Boone. As the camera approaches, Madden quickly shuts the door to his office. DELIRIOUS defeated HOMICIDE by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) Homicide and Delirious tore up the arena, with the bizarre Delirious keeping his foe off balance most of the match. Homicide hit a couple of stiff lariats to slow down the babbling Delirious, but the masked man countered with 20 clotheslines in the corner, stunning Homicide and setting him up for the Panic Attack. Delirious dragged Homicide to the center of the ring and slapped on the Cobra Stretch, and Homicide was forced to submit. Lance Russell: Wow! Congratulations to Delirious on an impressive win. He will move on to face CHRISTOPHER DANIELS for a shot at the Heavyweight Title! But first, Daniels has his own issue to deal with, a Midwest title defense against “MR. BIG TIME”, BUFF BAGWELL.MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: And now, ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your main even of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 30-minute time limit. This contest is for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 235 pounds and hailing from Tampa, Florida. He is accompanied to the ring by SO CAL VAL. He is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, “MR. BIG TIME”, BUFF BAGWELL!The tune “Big Time” by Peter Gabriel plays on the sound system as Bagwell struts to the ring with So Cal Val on his arm. The pair is trailed closely by RAVISHING RICK RUDE, who is ignoring Bagwell and fawning over Val.Lillian Garcia: And his opponent, hailing from the City of Angels, and weighing in at 232 pounds. He is accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER. He is your current NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Champion, THE FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS!“Head Like A Hole” by Nine Inch Nails blares loudly on the arena sound system. Daniels strides to the ring confidently, trailed by Allison, who follows him from corner to corner and raises two fingers to the sky as Daniels mounts each turnbuckle and gestures to the fans.CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated "BIG TIME" BAGWELL (w/ SO CAL VAL) to retain the title!Bagwell appeared to be distracted from the match as Rude flirted with Val. Daniels was all business, taking apart Bagwell and finishing him off with the Angel's Wings. After the match, Bagwell left the ring and angrily confronted Rude. Bagwell: Rude! What is the matter with you? You and Val are supposed to have my back! You’re so busy trying to play kissy-face that you’re letting us down! Rude: Letting you down? Do you know who the hell I am? Listen, pretty boy, I am the number one contender to the Heartland Heavyweight Championship- the REAL DEAL, not that second-rate piece of Midwest tin that you are after. Don’t blame me if you can’t get the job done! Besides, there’s no reason that a beautiful lady like Val should waste her time with a schmuck like you when she could have a real sexy man like the Ravishing One. The sound system comes alive once again with “Calm Like a Bomb” by Rage Against the Machine. Rude’s tag team partner PETEY WILLIAMS strides to the ring and snatches the microphone from Rude.Williams: Rick, what is your problem? You and me are supposed to be partners! Why are you coming after the Hitman’s title instead of working as a unit? The Hart Attack was a great team before you got sidetracked by that floozy redhead. Val reaches out and slaps Petey across the face. Rude grabs Petey by the collar and backs him into the ring, getting nose to nose with him.Rude: Listen, you little Canadian pipsqueak. So Cal Val ain’t no floozy. She is one classy broad who is smart enough to appreciate a real man like me. I don’t need a punk like you riding my coat tails, and I don’t care about Bret Hart either. That belt will be mine and Val will be mine, too. Bagwell: I don’t think so, big mouth! I brought Val to the Heartland and she works for me. Rick, you better just cool your jets and get out of here. Come on, Val, let’s go. Bagwell extends his hand to Val, gesturing back toward the locker room. Val looks at Bagwell, then back at Rude, appearing quietly pleased at the growing rivalry for her attention. Rude extends his arm to Val, who accepts it and follows him away. Bagwell glares as Rude holds the ropes open for Val and they head back to the locker room together.Rude: Sorry, Bagwell. Val don’t have time for a loser like you. You lost the belt and you lost the babe. So I guess that makes you the biggest loser of the night. So now it’s time for me and Val to go spend some quality time together while you go to some watering hole and cry in your beer with all these fat, toothless, Findlay freakazoids. We’re out of here! Rude drops the microphone and escorts Val back to the locker room area. Bagwell seethes in the ring. Petey Williams offers Bagwell a handshake. Buff appears infuriated, and storms out of the ring without acknowledging Williams. Petey shrugs, and heads back to the locker room.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness. What started off as a title match seems to have become a soap opera. Rick Rude is a very self-obsessed man. He wants Bagwell’s girl and he wants Bret’s title. You gotta be careful about collecting too many enemies in this business. One thing I do know, Petey Williams idolizes the Hitman and I do believe he’ll be watching out for Hart in any situation. It will be an interesting night on Fury Friday night when Rude and Hart go to the mat with the Heartland Heavyweight Championship on the line. Don’t you dare miss it! We’ll see you Friday from Akron. Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #39 James A. Rhodes Arena, Akron, Ohio March 23, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to another special edition of Friday Night Fury! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from the James A. Rhodes Arena in Akron, Ohio. Our main event this evening will be for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship as BRET “THE HITMAN” HART defends against “RAVISHING” RICK RUDE! That is sure to be an outstanding match. We’ll also have another semifinal match in the Heartland Tag Team Tournament. Mark Madden, tell us about tonight’s tag team match. Mark Madden: Thank you, Lance. I am very pleased and excited at the tournament so far. Tonight we will have the second semi-final match pitting THE PRINCES OF DANGER against LAX in what should be a great match-up. The winner of this match will move on to face THE BRISCOE BROTHERS in the tournament final! I can’t wait until we see the action continue to heat up. Let’s head to the ring! KONNAN defeated SHELTON BENJAMIN by submission(Referee: Heather Owens) K-Dawg and Shelton tore up the arena in the opening match, tearing into each other both inside the ring and out. As the match heated up, action moved outside the ring more frequently and more violently until Heather Owens eventually lost control. Heather got herself caught between the brawlers and was knocked to the floor. Konnan took advantage, beating down Shelton on the floor and wearing him down. Senior Referee Joe Kopasz finally came to the ring and chose to allow the match to continue. It didn't take long for Konnan to wrap up Shelton in the Tequila Sunrise, forcing him to submit. Mark Madden: Unbelievable. Just like a dame, Heather Owens doesn’t know enough to keep her nose out of the middle of a situation and get the job done in the ring. At least we don’t have to watch these broads try to wrestle. You can leave that nonsense to MARC KANTER and his Eskimo Garbage Wrestling Federation. The only thing worse than watching women wrestle is watching women wrestle in parkas and snow boots. SAMOA JOE pinned CM PUNK(Referee: Danny Davis) After a battle outside the ring, Joe slammed Punk's head to the steel steps. He rolled Punk back into the ring and delivered a Muscle Buster to score the pinfall. NIKITA KOLOFF pinned TAZZ(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Tazz controlled the early stages of this match, keeping Koloff off-balance with an assortment of suplexes. Nikita took the action to the outside, stunning Tazz with a powerful boot to the head. Dazed, Tazz slid back into the ring and directly into the path of a Russian Sickle and the pinfall was academic. Lance Russell: Wow! You could have counted to a hundred after that Sickle. A fine victory for Koloff over a very capable foe. That match brings us to intermission here in Akron, the home of the Zips. Would you believe, after a 26-6 season, the Zips didn't even get an invitation to the NIT? Be sure and visit the Heartland Souvenir Stand during the break and pick up a Special Edition "Syracuse Made the NIT But We Got Zip" T-shirt! ***INTERMISSION***CARLITO (w/ MELINA) pinned NIGEL MCGUINESS(Referee: Brady Boone) Freshly returned from his venture to Alaska, Carlito started sluggishly, but was alert enough to dodge a running double axehandle from McGuiness in the corner. Nigel crashed hard into the corner and Carlito alertly folded him up and pinned him with his feet on the ropes. Mark Madden: Good job, Carlito. But now, it’s on to the tag team semifinal match-up. I am pleased to announce that JOE KOPASZ has agreed to referee for us tonight. You know I have no place for incompetent referees in the matches I book. Let’s get to the semis! NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT: SEMIFINALTHE PRINCES OF DANGER (BJ WHITMER & RODERICK STRONG w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated LAX (w/ KONNAN) (Referee: Joe Kopasz) The Princes executed a superior strategy, slowing down the brutality of LAX and keeping the match focused on wrestling. The Princes isolated Hernandez in the ring and methodically wore him down as Homicide and Konnan became increasingly frustrated. Even with Konnan attempting to distract Joe Kopasz, the Exchange were unable to tag. Strong trapped Hernandez in a couple of backbreakers, sapping his energy, then tagged to Whitmer who delivered a powerful Exploder and pinned him as Strong held off Homicide's attempt to make the save. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! The Princes are at the top of their game. I think most people expected LAX to go right through the Princes and directly to the finals. Allison Danger certainly had this match scouted well. I guess now we will see Allison and Woman square off again in the finals, when the Princes hook up with the Briscoe Brothers. What a match that will be. And now, the time has arrived for the Title match! Let’s go to Lillian Garcia for the introductions. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentleman, it is now time for your Main Event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 30-minute time limit. Introducing first, the challenger, making his way down the aisle, accompanied by SO CAL VAL, weighing in at 246 pounds, from Robbinsdale, Minnesota, “RAVISHING” RICK RUDE!And his opponent, weighing in at 235 pounds, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, he is your reigning NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion, BRET “THE HITMAN” HART!MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPRICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated BRET "HITMAN" HART by disqualification(Referee: Danny Davis) A wild melee broke out to mark the climax of an intense battle! Rude and the Hitman struggled back and forth in an all-out war. Hart controlled much of the action, but timely distractions from Val allowed Rude to turn the tide. Rude brutalized Hart on the concrete floor, then slung him back into the ring and nailed him with a Rude Awakening. As he strutted and shimmied, preparing to cover the Hitman, PETEY WILLIAMS dashed to the ring and climbed to the apron. Rude responded, gesturing and taunting Petey, allowing Hart enough time to recover. Hart hit Rude with a double axe-handle from behind, sending him crashing to the turnbuckle. Val came after Petey, shrieking and slapping at him, while Hart wrapped up Rude in a ringpost figure-4! Referee Danny Davis tried to convince Hart to let go, but Hart ignored the instructions and Davis called for the bell, awarding the bout to Rude by disqualification. After the match, a frustrated Hart continued to brawl with Rude outside the ring. BUFF BAGWELL sprinted to the ring, and nailed Rude from behind, knocking him to the floor. As Hart began to prevail, he went to work on Rude’s knee and prepared for another ringpost figure-4. A commotion arose from the locker room, and CURT HENNIG stormed down to attack Hart and prevent Rude from being assaulted further. Bagwell and Hennig began to brawl as So Cal Val attended to Rude and Petey Williams shielded the Hitman from the fracas. Bagwell and Hennig brawled all the way back to the locker room as the card drew to a close.Lance Russell: Wow!! It didn’t take long for that situation to get totally out of control! Hart and Rude really lit each other up tonight. There is plenty of intensity between those two, and the whole element with Bagwell and Val and Petey takes it to another level. And Rude is a smart man, he is wise to have Hennig watching his back. I have no doubt that Rude and Hart will meet again. The stakes have never been higher!
