In association with Marc Kanter and a group of promoters, I am starting a new promotion called NWA-Heartland. Heartland is affiliated with seven other territories which will feature travelling world championships and regional titles reminscent of the golden era of territorial wrestling. Heartland will be promoting cards throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana.
I will try to continue running DWA cards when I get the chance.

HWA - Heartland Card #1 Millett Hall, Oxford, Ohio October 4, 2006 Lillian Garcia: From the campus of Miami University, NWA Heartland welcomes you to the first ever night of wrestling action!! Our first contest is scheduled for one fall with a 20-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Heather Owens.Introducing first, accompanied by Woman, weighing in at 232 pounds, from the City of Angels... The Fallen Angel, Christopher Daniels! And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Kimberly, weighing in at 253 pounds, from the Jersey Shore, Diamond Dallas Page!CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ WOMAN) defeated DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE (w/ KIMBERLY) by disqualificationThe first-ever Heartland bout was a thriller! Page and Daniels battled hold for hold, with Daniels ultimately taking advantage with the Angel's Wings and nearly capturing the victory. Referee Heather Owens was distracted by Kimberly, allowing DDP to escape. When Daniels confronted Kimberly, DDP took advantage and nailed a Diamond Cutter! But the resilient Daniels kicked out, and soon the action spilled outside of the ring. Page knocked Daniels headfirst onto the steel steps, then rolled him back into the ring and went to the top rope. A perfectly executed flying forearm smash by DDP sent Daniels tumbling into the ropes, where he became entangled. DDP attacked the helpless Daniels as Kimberly tried another distraction, but Woman waylaid Kimberly. Referee Heather Owens turned her attention to Page, who refused to allow Daniels to be set free from his predicament. Page shoved Heather away from the action, forcing her to call for the bell and award the match to Daniels by disqualification. After the match, an angry Page had to be restrained by Kimberly to prevent him from assaulting Heather Owens, but cooler heads prevailed and no further carnage took place. Lance Russell: What a situation we just saw there! Diamond Dallas Page is truly a volatile personality. Mark Madden: Volatile personality? Come on, Lance, he's an idiot. He could have beaten Daniels if he had managed to keep his cool. Page is just a freaky-haired moron. With a performance like that, he will never make it to the top of Heartland. Lance Russell: Speaking of volatile personalities, let's go back to the ring and see the debut of a local favorite, "Flyin' Brian" Pillman, as he squares off against the popular Junkyard Dog. BRIAN PILLMAN pinned JUNKYARD DOGPillman came out smoking in this match, immediately taking charge with a high cross body block off the ropes, followed by a whip to the turnbuckle and a running shoulder tackle. Pillman then nailed a spinning back kick and covered JYD for a quick pinfall victory before the Big Dog knew what hit him! The Millett Hall fans cheered wildly for their hometown hero as referee Brady Boone raised his arm. Even JYD was gracious in defeat, giving Pillman a handshake and a hug before leaving the ring area. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, your next contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 30-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest will be Heartland Senior Referee Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, from Hendersonville, Tennessee, he is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion! Weighing in at 248 pounds, here is Tommy "Wildfire" Rich! And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by his manager, Miss Elizabeth, from Orange County, California, weighing in at 280 pounds, he is the Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe! SAMOA JOE (w/ MISS ELIZABETH) defeated TOMMY RICH by disqualificationSamoa Joe clearly was the fan favorite in this bout, infuriating Wildfire. Tommy came out aggressively, pummeling Joe with uppercuts and elbow smashes, but nothing seemed to faze the bigger Samoan. Rich even caught Joe in an abdominal stretch, but Joe shrugged off the move with a hip toss as Elizabeth cheered him on. This exchange only frustrated Rich further, causing him to hurl Joe out of the ring and into the steel security railing. Referee Kopasz warned Rich repeatedly before finally calling for the bell and disqualifying Wildfire. Mark Madden: What the hell is the matter with this guy? You would think a former world heavyweight champion would have a better game plan for a match like this, even if the guy only held the belt for three days. Tommy Rich: (grabbing the microphone from Madden): That's right, Mark Madden, I AM a former world heavyweight champion, and I deserve more respect from the fans around this territory. They should be cheering me, instead of that big fat Samoan slob over there! Just you wait, Madden, I WILL make it back to the top of this territory, no matter what these fans think or what kind of competition I have to go through! Lance Russell: All right, all right, enough noise out of you, Tommy. We have another match in the ring ready to go. This match promises to be an intense clash of conflicting styles as old school Terry Funk takes on the young "Phenomenal One", AJ Styles!TERRY FUNK (w/ WOMAN) pinned AJ STYLES (w/ KIMBERLY PAGE) In a shocking development, Funk smashed Styles with a hard fist to the rib cage and pinned him just seconds after the opening bell! Referee Danny Davis suspected that Funk used a foreign object or a taped fist, but Funk refused to be inspected and left the ring area with Woman. Styles remained doubled over in the ring for several minutes before Kimberly was able to help him back to the dressing room area. Mark Madden: You see, Lance, that's what wrestling is all about! You can have your high-flying pretty boys, give me an old school, smash-mouth tough guy any day. Woman has exactly the right idea. That's twice tonight that her men have gotten the best of Kimberly's boys. Lillian Garcia: And now, Heartland fans, it is time for your MAIN EVENT! The following contest will be scheduled for one fall, with NO time limit. This is a first-round match in the tournament to decide the inaugural Heartland Tag Team Championship! Your referee for this contest will be Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first... at a total combined weight of 540 pounds, the team of SERGEANT SLAUGHTER and the Man with the Hands of Stone, "Rugged" RON GARVIN!"And their opponents... former WWF and WCW Tag Team Champions of the World... weighing in at 490 pounds and hailing from Bay City, Michigan, Rick and Scott, THE STEINER BROTHERS!THE STEINER BROTHERS defeated RON GARVIN & SGT. SLAUGHTERIn a brief, but highly competitive main event, Rick Steiner surprised the Sarge with a flying cross-body block off the top rope and pinned him cleanly! The Steiners will move to the semi-finals of the Heartland Tag Team Tournament. Lance Russell: Fans, thank you for coming out to Millett Hall and making the first-ever Heartland show a great success! Congratulations to the Steiner Brothers on a well-fought victory in tonight's main event, and best of luck to them in the rest of the tournament. Tonight we also saw Terry Funk make a statement and establish his spot as a tough competitor in this territory. I wish I could say the same for Tommy Rich, who really embarassed himself out here tonight after being disqualified in his match against Samoa Joe. We were also treated to fine performances by Christopher Daniels and by Brian Pillman in their NWA debuts. And now, before we go, we have a special word from NWA Heartland Commissioner Alexandra York. Alexandra York appears on the Jumbotron, dressed in immaculate business attire, hair pulled back tightly in a bun, glasses on, sitting behind a large oak desk and typing on her laptop computer. "Thank you all for joining us for tonight's special event. We hope you will be with us again for our next major show from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland. The main event for the next show will be another tag team tournament match, pitting two exciting young teams as Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuiness will take on AJ Styles and Chris Sabin. The show will also feature two MAJOR NWA superstars in singles action as BRET HART takes on CM Punk, and STING faces off against Carlito." "See you at the matches!"

NWA - Heartland Card #2 Wolstein Center, Cleveland, Ohio October 7, 2006 Lance Russell: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Wolstein Center at Cleveland State University! We are proud to bring you more action from NWA Heartland after a great opening night of action earlier this week. Tonight we will feature four more exciting singles matches, and a tag team main event as part of our Heartland Tag Team Tournament. Let's go to the ring for our first match! Lillian Garcia: Cleveland, Ohio, welcome to the NWA! Our first contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 20-minute time limit. Introducing first, weighing in at 210 pounds, from Alexandria, Kentucky, BJ Whitmer! And his opponent, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 180 pounds, Petey Williams!BJ WHITMER pinned PETEY WILLIAMSThe two young cruiserweights both came into this match hungry, and went at each other all out! Williams executed a Sharpshooter, and BJ was fortunate to escape to the bottom rope. After being forced to release the hold, Williams went to the top rope, but BJ caught him with a powerslam off the top! Whitmer then delivered a cradle piledriver to score the pinfall. Mark Madden: You see, Lance, this high-flying crap will get you nowhere. You will wind up more often than not having those moves backfire, and before you know it you're counting the lights. This next match will be a contest between two REAL MEN who can stand toe-to-toe and dish it out with the best of them. I have been waiting for this match all night! Let's watch the devious Jake "The Snake" Roberts get it on with the big man Batista!JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS (w/ WOMAN) defeated BATISTA (w/ MELINA) by countoutBatista controlled most of the action with his power moves, and twice managed to escape Snake's lethal DDT. Batista nailed a couple of spears and Jake was in big trouble, but Woman interrupted the pin and action spilled outside the ring. Woman struck again, clawing Batista in the eyes and setting him up for Snake to deliver a falling cross-body block off the ring apron! Batista was unable to recover in time to beat the count and Jake was awarded the victory. After the decision, an enraged Melina SCREAMED and grabbed the ring microphone: Melina: Woman! You are a dirty cheating witch! Your wrestlers have stolen every match! Batista could take that ugly Snake any day if it weren't for your interference! Woman: Oh, dream on, Melina. You are so lame. A real Woman knows what she is doing out here. You will never make it in this business until you learn how to make a difference for your man. Melina: We'll see about that! Batista will challenge the Snake to a Texas Death Match! Woman looks at Batista... shaking her head... until Roberts grabs the mike! Snake: You're on, Melina! I refuse to hide behind a skirt. You bring that stupid musclehead any time, and watch me drag him through the depths of the darkness and destroy him... no interference.... HARDCORE RULES! Snake throws down the microphone and picks up the burlap sack, leaving the ring area with Woman following closely... as Batista and Melina talk quietly and leave the ring confidently. Mark Madden: Holy mackerel! Batista and Jake Roberts in a Hardcore Texas Death Match! What an epic battle that will be! Lance Russell: Whatever it takes for these two men... and their devious women... to settle this score! But for tonight, we must get back to the business at hand. We have one of the greatest stars in wrestling history on hand tonight for his Heartland debut! Bret Hart is making his way down the aisle to face a stiff test from an up-and-coming young star, CM Punk. Let's go back to the ring for another exciting match! BRET HART defeated CM PUNK by disqualificationHart dominated this match from the outset, keeping Punk under control with a variety of suplexes and Russian leg sweeps. Punk had no answer for the Hitman's scientific tactics, other than to throw him out of the ring and into the steel barricade for the DQ. Punk stormed from the ring area, red-faced, as Hitman collected himself and accepted the victory. Lance Russell: There you go, Mark. We are fortunate that Ms. York has signed a legend like Bret Hart to compete here. We are equally proud to welcome another legend... the man called STING! Sting is here to take on another up-and-coming young star, the second-generation Puerto Rican, CARLITO!STING pinned CARLITO (w/ MELINA)Sting came to the ring to his upbeat original theme song, wearing the white and green face paint, hair spiked and dyed blonde, beating his chest and hollering to the fans! Carlito tried to attck the popular legend from behind, but Stinger whipped him to the ropes and nailed him with a clothesline! Before Carlito could recover, Sting wrapped him up in the Scorpion Deathlock and Carlito was forced to tap out! Mark Madden: Wow! The Stinger is at the top of his game! He put away Carlito in under one minute! You're right, Lance, Ms. York is a very smart commissioner. She has signed THREE awesome legends that have graced Cleveland tonight! Lance Russell: Three legends? We've seen Sting and Bret Hart. What else does Ms. York have planned for tonight? Mark Madden: You forgot about the other great legend in the building tonight, Lance... the legendary color commentator, Mark Madden! <laughs> Lance Russell: You can't be serious, Madden. We have a job to do here! It's time for the main event, so let's turn it over to Lillian Garcia for the introductions. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your Main Event! This contest is a first-round match-up for the Heartland Tag Team Championship! Your referee for this contest will be SENIOR Heartland official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first... at a total combined weight of 410 pounds... representing Ring of Honor... the team of Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuiness! And their opponents, accompanied by Kimberly Page... representing Total Nonstop Action.... at a total combined weight of 430 pounds, the team of AJ Styles and Chris Sabin!Styles and Sabin come down to the ring... Styles wearing bandages around his rib cage and wincing as the match begins. CHRIS SABIN & AJ STYLES (w/ KIMBERLY) defeated BRYAN DANIELSON & NIGEL McGUINESSSabin started the match for the TNA side, and was thoroughly dominated by Danielson. Danielson nailed the Cattle Mutilation, but Styles broke up the pinfall and clocked Danielson. Nigel tagged into the match, but Sabin had recovered enough to hit him with the Future Shock. Danielson came back in to attempt the save, but Sabin ducked away and McGuiness ate the powerful clothesline! Sabin quickly rolled up McGuiness and captured the pinfall! Lance Russell: What a performance by Sabin! Even with an injured partner, he managed to earn a victory for his team and move in to the semifinals of the tag team tournament. Thank you all for joining us here in Cleveland tonight! We'll be back in action later this week from Toledo!

NWA Heartland Card #3 Toledo Sports Center, Toledo, Ohio October 14, 2006 Lance Russell: Good evening, NWA fans, and welcome to another exciting evening of NWA Heartland wrestling action! We are proud to be coming to you live from the Toledo Sports Center! We have a great card for you tonight, featuring--- Mark Madden: Lance! There is a huge brawl backstage! Shelton Benjamin has attacked Ron Garvin in the locker room! Let's get a camera back there NOW!!! The camera cuts backstage with no voiceover as Benjamin and Garvin exchange blows while Benjamin's manager, Miss Elizabeth, cowers in the background. Garvin appears to be getting the best of Benjamin until Randy Savage joins the fray. Before the two stablemates can take control, Garvin's tag partner Sergeant Slaughter rushes to the scene and the brawl escalates! Slaughter and Savage brawl to the other side of the locker room, where they are pulled apart by other wrestlers. Garvin floors Benjamin with a right hand, knocking him into a bank of lockers. Garvin follows Benjamin, opening a locker and slamming it viciously onto Benjamin's left hand! Shelton screams and grabs his wrist as Elizabeth shrieks and runs to the side of her wrestler. Garvin leaves the locker room area and heads to the ring. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, our first contest is scheduled for one fall with a 20-minute time limit. Introducing first, weighing in at 242 pounds and hailing from Montreal, Canada, he is the "Man with the Hands of Stone", RON GARVIN! And his opponent, weighing in at 228 pounds, from Orangeburg, South Carolina, accompanied by Miss Elizabeth, SHELTON BENJAMIN! Benjamin comes to the ring holding his left wrist and grimacing noticeably. He is flanked by Elizabeth who is pleading with him to return to the locker room for treatment of his wrist, but Benjamin disregards her advice and charges the ring! RON GARVIN pinned SHELTON BENJAMIN (w/ MISS ELIZABETH)Garvin was more than ready for the charging Benjamin. The veteran Canadian worked over his young opponent expertly, exploiting the injury and wearing down his foe with repeated stomps. A worried Elizabeth attempted a distraction, but Garvin callously knocked her off the ring apron! This drew the ire of Savage, who stormed the ring, but Garvin used Savage's momentum to hurl him over the top rope and down to the floor as well, then nailed Benjamin with a Hands of Stone KO punch to capture the victory! Mark Madden: What a performance by Garvin! From the locker room to the ring, this is one TOUGH SOB! Lance Russell: Mark, it looks like Miss Elizabeth has been injured by her fall. It looks like the trainers are taking her back to the locker room for medical attention. Mark Madden: And Randy Savage is BESIDE HIMSELF! Savage will have to wrestle all by himself tonight in his Heartland debut. And so will Elizabeth's tag team of Samoa Joe and Tazz! Lance Russell: Savage is already in the ring, so let's bring out his opponent and get the next match started. RANDY SAVAGE defeated CHRIS SABIN by disqualificationSabin appeared to be intimidated by the ravings of the Macho Man. He tried to keep his cool, but Savage repeatedly hurled him out of the ring and attacked him on the outside. Ironically, it was Sabin who was DQ'ed after grabbing a steel chair at ringside and clobbering Savage. Referee Brady Boone appeared to be equally intimidated, and both he and Sabin were clearly relieved after the match when Savage chose to sprint back to the dressing room to check on Elizabeth rather than taking his frustrations out in the ring. Lillian Garcia: Our next contest is scheduled for one fall with a 20-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, from Sweetwater, Texas, weighing in at 309 pounds, and accompanied by Melina, here is BRADSHAW! And his opponent, from Bay City, Michigan, weighing in at 240 pounds, SCOTT STEINER! SCOTT STEINER pinned BRADSHAW (w/ MELINA)Bradshaw attempted to sneak attack Steiner before the match and was successful in getting the early advantage, but Steiner rallied with a double underhook suplex to gain control. Surprisingly, Steiner then went to the top rope and drilled Bradshaw with a perfect cross body block and scored a quick, clean pinfall! Lance Russell: A nice victory for the Michigan graduate. And now, we go to a match which I have been very excited to see, pitting the dynamic SHAWN MICHAELS against a master of the technical skill of grappling, BRYAN DANIELSON! BRYAN DANIELSON defeated SHAWN MICHAELS by disqualificationThis match was everything is was built up to be. Michaels' quickness got him off to an early advantage, but Danielson was able to slow things down and take control with his vast repertoire of submission moves. Another Michaels rally got the crowd buzzing, but Danielson again slowed things down with a variety of suplexes and Michaels went to the outside. When Danielson pursued Michaels to the floor, a violent brawl erupted! In a controversial decision, referee Heather Owens disqualified Michaels and awarded the bout to the Dragon. Mark Madden: What a crock! Women referees are no better than women drivers. I hope to everything sacred that we don't end up with a woman president! Lillian Garcia glares at Madden after that comment before taking the microphone and entering the ring to introduce the final match. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the MAIN EVENT of the evening! This tag team attraction will be scheduled for one fall, with NO time limit. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. The winning team will advance to the semifinals of the Heartland Tag Team championship tournament. Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by WOMAN, at a total combined weight of 580 pounds, collectively known as DEVASTATION, here are JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS and BIG JOHN STUDD! And their opponents, at a total combined weight of 528 pounds, they are the MASTERS OF SUBMISSION, SAMOA JOE and TAZZ! DEVASTATION (w/ WOMAN) defeated THE MASTERS OF SUBMISSIONLightning strikes in Toledo! The mighty Samoa Joe was forced to submit to the Giant Backbreaker applied by Big John Studd! The Toledo crowd left the arena in a state of shock as Woman and her men celebrated. Mark Madden: What a tragic night for Elizabeth! Her mighty tag team bit the dustand she is probably laying in a hospital some place. Better luck next time, I guess. Lance Russell: It certainly was a night of surprises, Mark. I hope you will join us next week in Akron for another exciting card. We'll get to see the Acolyte Protection Agency make their NWA debut against Tommy Rich and Brian Pillman. Big John Studd will also be in singles action in Toledo against Rick Steiner in what promises to be an exciting brawl. See you at the matches!

Lillian Garcia (in the ring): Ladies and gentleman, our first contest is a special 16-man battle royal! The winner of this contest will be the first entrant into a title match for the NWA Midwest Championship! This event is an over-the-top rope elimination battle royal, with NO disqualification and NO time limit! Your referees for this contest will be Danny Davis on the inside, and Heather Owens on the floor. May the best man win! 16-man battle royal - order of elimination: RON GARVIN was dumped by SCOTT STEINER while battling with B.J. WHITMERRICK STEINER was eliminated by SAMOA JOE after missing a charge into the turnbuckle BRYAN DANIELSON was thrown out by SAMOA JOESAMOA JOE was hurled out by BJ WHITMER after tossing out Danielson BJ WHITMER was dumped by TAZZ with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex BRIAN PILLMAN was eliminated by CHRISTOPHER DANIELS while Pillman dueled with Scott Steiner TAZZ was thrown out by RANDY SAVAGE with a powerful body slam NIGEL McGUINESS was overpowered and hurled out by SCOTT STEINERRANDY SAVAGE was thrown out by SCOTT STEINER after a failed sneak attack STING and CHRISTOPHER DANIELS were *BOTH* eliminated by TERRY FUNK while struggling against the ropes! TERRY FUNK and BRET HART were eliminated by PAUL ORNDORFF while battling on the turnbuckle! PAUL ORNDORFF was dumped by JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS while trying to eliminate Scott Steiner SCOTT STEINER was pinned by JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS after a DDT Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner, and the first contestant for the NWA Midwest Championship, JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS!Lance Russell: Fans, it is great to be with you tonight from Columbus! It looks to be a long night for Jake the Snake. Believe it or not, we may see Jake three more times tonight! Right now, it will be Snake and his partner, Big John Studd, to take on the Steiner Brothers. The last two men from the battle royal will be in this semi-final tag team match! Mark Madden: Exactly right, Lance. Jake may have bitten off more than he can chew, especially with the animal Batista waiting in the wings for a Texas Death match! But first things first, let's see if the Steiners can take a measure of revenge against the team they call Devastation! Lance Russell: Just one minute, Mark! I have just gotten word from the back that a melee is taking place. Rick Steiner has been attacked by Woman and her stable. John Studd, Christopher Daniels, and Terry Funk have roughed up Rick Steiner and injured his right arm! Steiner refuses to be checked out by the trainers, and insists upon coming to the ring to join his brother for this tag team match! Mark Madden: You gotta love that Woman, Lance. Beautiful AND deadly. What a great strategy! Scotty is already worn out from the battle royal, and now Rick is injured too! (Laughs.) Lance Russell: You can't be serious, Madden. What a dirty, underhanded tactic! I am disgusted. DEVASTATION (w/ WOMAN) defeated THE STEINER BROTHERSStudd did all the work in this match, starting by taking advantage of an injured Rick Steiner and nearly pinning him after a brutal club. Rick managed to tag out to Scotty, but Studd trapped him in the Giant Backbreaker and the weakened Steiner was forced to submit. Mark Madden: You see, Lance, the Woman is a genius! Her strategy worked to perfection, eliminating the Steiners AND letting Jake take a breather before the tag finals and the Texas Death Match! Lance Russell: As much as I am ashamed to admit it, Madden, you called that one perfectly. Now, we have a match which I have been looking forward to with great interest. In the other tag team semifinal, the team of the "Wild Bunch", Tommy Rich and Brian Pillman, will take on the Kimberly's team of Chris Sabin and AJ Styles! Mark Madden: This will be a much different match than the last one. More athletic and less brutal. But Styles is still nursing a rib cage injury and is clearly not 100%, thanks to Terry Funk. If Kimberly had half the brains of Woman, she would take better care of her wrestlers! Lance Russell: Madden, I don't understand why you insist on fawning over that devilish Woman. Stop wasting my time! Let's go to the ring. THE WILD BUNCH defeated CHRIS SABIN & AJ STYLES (W/ KIMBERLY)Sabin again tried to cover for his injured partner, but the teamwork of Rich and Pillman was too much! Even the interference of Kimberly could not save her team, as Rich pinned Sabin after a belly-to-belly suplex. Lance Russell: So, the finals are set! It will be a contrast in styles as The Wild Bunch will face off against Studd and Roberts. Finally, we will have tag team champions! Not only that, but the winner will get a coveted title match against the NWA World Tag Team Champions. Mark Madden: Right you are, Sir Lancealot! But first, Jake the Snake has an issue to settle with Batista after the brawl these two had in Cleveland. Woman enters the arena and comes to the announcers' table. Woman: I don't think so, Mark. Jake has more important issues to take care of tonight. He will not be involved in any hardcore matches this evening! (The crowd boos.) Batista storms the ring area, followed closely by Melina. But before they make it down the ramp, Batista is attacked by Terry Funk! The hardcore match is on!TEXAS DEATH HARDCORE MATCH: TERRY FUNK (w/ WOMAN) defeated BATISTA (w/ MELINA)Funk and Batista battled all over Nationwide Arena! In the end, it was the experience and guile of Funk which prevailed, after he slammed Batista in the knee with a branding iron and forced him to submit to the Spinning Toe Hold! Batista left the ring area gingerly, but appeared to walk off his pain without injury. Lillian Garcia: And now, ladies and gentlemen, it is time for your Main Event! The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish, with NO countout and NO disqualification! The winners of this match will be crowned the first ever, NWA Heartland Tag Team Champions! Your referee for this contest will be Heartland Senior Referee Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Woman, at a total combined weight of 610 pounds, and collectively known as "Devastation", here is Big John Studd and Jake "The Snake" Roberts! And their opponents, at a total combined weight of 474 pounds, the team of Flyin' Brian Pillman and Tommy "Wildfire" Rich, The WILD BUNCH!!!MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPTHE WILD BUNCH defeated DEVASTATION when Brian Pillman pinned Big John Studd after a springboard clothesline.Mark Madden: Lance, I am shocked! Just when Studd appeared to be in control, Pillman reverses a whip to the steel security rail, rolls Studd into the ring, and nails him with the springboard clothesline for a quick 1-2-3! That happened so fast, even Woman couldn't do anything about it! Lance Russell: Yes, indeed, Mark. I am excited to present the first-ever NWA Heartland Tag Team Champions, Tommy "Wildfire" Rich and "Flyin' " Brian Pillman! Thank you for joining us tonight at Heartland Havoc. We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did. And now, for my broadcast colleague Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God Bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #5 Worthen Arena, Muncie, Indiana October 31, 2006 Lance Russell: Hello fans, it's great to have you here in Indiana! Tonight the NWA Heartland will make its Hoosier State debut with an extra special night of action. It is our privilege to host the World Tag Team Champions! In tonight's main event, the recently crowned Heartland Championship team of Brian Pillman and Tommy Rich will take their shot at the World Tag Champions, Bruiser Brody and Shinya Hashimoto! Mark Madden: Exactly right, Lance! But before we get to the big event, we have five more matches to check out. Let's go to the ring. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Muncie, Indiana for tonight's presentation of NWA-Heartland Championship Wrestling! Our first contest is scheduled for one fall, with a twenty-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Heather Owens. Introducing first, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 220 pounds, CM PUNK! And his opponent, making his way down the aisle, weighing in at 276 pounds, from Parris Island, South Carolina, SERGEANT SLAUGHTER! CM PUNK defeated SGT. SLAUGHTER by disqualification-Sarge controlled most of the action, but Punk proved to be highly resilient! The smaller Punk took everything Slaughter could dish out and kept coming back for more. Finally, a frustrated Slaughter attacked Punk with his riding crop and was hit with the DQ. Slaughter stormed to the commentator's table and took over the microphone: Sgt. Slaughter: Alexandra York! This federation makes me wanna puke! If your referees are gonna stop the match every time the combat heats up a little, then I have no choice but to call in some reinforcements! I am hereby offering my services to any manager in this federation who has the brains to give the marching orders that will take me to the championship! Sarge throws down the microphone and storms out of the ring area.Mark Madden: Now that's what I'm talkin' about! The Sarge is taking charge! My only question is, who will step up and sign the big man? You can bet the price won't be cheap. Lance Russell: I don't know, Mark. I hate to see a good man like Sergeant Slaughter make such a rash decision. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail. Let's go back to the ring for our next contest, pitting two exciting young rising superstars in SHELTON BENJAMIN and CARLITO! CARLITO (w/ MELINA) pinned SHELTON BENJAMIN-Benjamin still had his left wrist heavily taped after being injured by Ron Garvin in Toledo. Carlito wasted no time, taking control from the opening bell and dispatching Shelton with the Overdrive. Lance Russell: A good win for Carlito against the ailing Benjamin. I would love to see these two hook up when they are both at 100%! Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, our next contest is a special tag team attraction, scheduled for one fall, with a 30-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, at a total combined weight of 410 pounds, representing the Ring of Honor, the team of BRYAN DANIELSON and NIGEL McGUINESS! And their opponents, accompanied by MELINA, at a total combined weight of 598 pounds, the team of RON SIMMONS and BRADSHAW, the ACOLYTE PROTECTION AGENCY! THE ACOLYTE PROTECTION AGENCY (w/ MELINA) defeated BRYAN DANIELSON & NIGEL McGUINESS-Simmons pinned McGuiness after a Dominator, as Bradshaw held off Danielson from the pin save. McGuiness had Simmons set up for the Tower of London when Melina nailed him with a low blow to put Simmons in control! Mark Madden: What teamwork! These two Acolytes can brawl with the best of them! And it never hurts to have that third set of eyes to watch your back. Lance Russell: I don't know what Danny Davis was looking at. He completely missed the boat on that one. Now, it is time for the action to pick up, Mark. These next two singles contests are part of the Heartland Heavyweight Championship tournament! Our winners tonight will advance to the final eight in the championship round! The first match will pit one of the favorites, BRET "HITMAN" HART, against the surprising qualifier RICK STEINER. Steiner is a tough competitor, but he will really have his work cut out for him tonight. Brady Boone will be the third man in the ring for this bout. RICK STEINER pinned BRET "HITMAN" HART-Another upset win for the Dog-Faced Gremlin! Hart began the match by wrestling circles around Steiner with suplexes, Russian leg sweeps, and a Figure-4 around the ring post, but was unable to finish him off. When Hart went to the top rope for a death jump, Steiner caught him and powered him to the mat with an awesome body slam. Steiner then took to the top rope himself, delivering two flying bulldogs and scoring an unlikely pinfall! Lance Russell: Wow! What a surprise pinfall! Look at the big dog celebrating! Bret Hart can't believe it! Mark Madden: Neither can I, Lance. What an idiot! Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while, I suppose. But now, we get to see a real man in action! And I'm not talking about that painted-up moron, STING. I came to see the most dangerous man in the Heartland, the #1 contender for the Midwest Championship, JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS! And let's not forget about Snake's deadly manager, Woman- the best in the business! STING pinned JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS-Sting came out a house afire, flooring Snake with a top rope splash! Woman tried to refocus the Snake, pulling him out of the ring and slapping him across the face! Snake was fired up, and returned to the ring to put on a brief flurry, but Sting quickly turned the tables with another splash and pinned Snake after a leaping DDT. Lance Russell: A dominant performance by the popular Stinger! Sting and Steiner, the former tag team partners, are the first two wrestlers in the final eight of the Heavyweight tournament. Too bad your little flame, Woman, came up on the losing end tonight, Mark. Madden sulks quietly.Lance Russell: What's the matter, Mark? Cat got your tongue? Never mind, it's time for the tag team title match! Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the MAIN EVENT! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 45-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. This contest is for the NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challengers. At a total combined weight of 474 pounds, collectively known as the Wild Bunch, they are the NWA-Heartland Tag Team Champions, "FLYIN" BRIAN PILLMAN and "WILDFIRE" TOMMY RICH! And their opponents are your NWA World Tag Team Champions! At a total combined weight of 571 pounds, BRUISER BRODY and SHINYA HASHIMOTO! FLYIN' BRIAN PILLMAN and TOMMY "WILDFIRE" RICH defeated BRUISER BRODY & SHINYA HASHIMOTO to win the World Tag Team Championship!-All four men were extremely active in this match, with frequent tags and a highly competitive series of exchanges. Brody and Rich battled for a long stretch with neither man gaining advantage. Twice the action spilled outside the ring, but referee Kopasz allowed the action to continue. Pillman and Hashimoto tagged in, and the action continued fast and furious. Hashimoto caught Pillman in a triangle choke out of nowhere, and nearly caused Pillman to tap out before he reached the bottom rope. When Hashimoto was forced to break the hold, Pillman rallied with his speed and agility! After slowing Hashimoto with a figure-4, Pillman nailed Shinya with a spinning back kick and executed a cover! Rich was able to cut off Brody's attempted pin save as Joe Kopasz counted the pinfall, and the match- and the belts- went to the Wild Bunch! Lance Russell: Great work, Wild Bunch! Congratulations on becoming World Tag Team Champions! Brian Pillman: Thank you very much, Lance, and I would like to congratulate Brody and Hashimoto on a great match. But tonight, the Wild Bunch was up to the task, and the belts are now here in the Heartland! Tommy Rich: That's right, Brian, the Wild Bunch is on top of the world! But before you guys take off, Brian and I will challenge you to a rematch, with the belts on the line! This Saturday night, Evansville, Indiana, the Wild Bunch against Brody and Hashimoto for the World Tag Championship! Lance Russell: You heard it, fans! The rematch is on! We'll be back in action on Saturday night! Until then, this is Lance Russell for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia signing off and saying, God bless and see you at the matches!

NWA-Heartland Card #6 Roberts Stadium, Evansville, Indiana November 3, 2006 Lance Russell: Hello fans, and welcome to another big event from NWA Heartland! We have an extra-special main event tonight- a rematch for the NWA World Tag Team Championship! Heartland's own "Wild Bunch", Tommy Rich and Brian Pillman, defend their newly won belts against the former champions, Bruiser Brody and Shinya Hasimoto. You can bet this will be an exciting contest! Mark Madden: Exactly, Lance. Rich and Pillman shocked the world just by winning the Heartland Tag Titles and qualifying for a title match, let alone bringing home the belts. I will be every bit as shocked if these clowns manage to retain the titles tonight. Also tonight, we will see another 16-man battle royal! Tonight's winner will square off against the previous battle royal winner, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, for the Midwest Championship. But first, we have a full slate of matches on the card tonight. Let's go to the ring! Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Evansville, Indiana! NWA Heartland is proud to present an exciting evening of wrestling action. Our first contest is one fall with a 20-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest will be Brady Boone. Introducing first, weighing in at 289 pounds, and accompanied by Melina, representing the Acolyte Protection Agency, he is the All-American, RON SIMMONS! And his opponent, accompanied by Kimberly, weighing in at 253 pounds, from the Jersey Shore, DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE!RON SIMMONS (w/ MELINA) pinned DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE (w/ KIMBERLY)-Simmons overpowered Page, although Kimberly disrupted the match on a couple of occasions to rescue DDP. Simmons finally prevailed with a Dominator and a clean pinfall victory. Mark Madden: Surprise, surprise, another defeat for Kimberly and her minions. Why doesn't she just go back to dancing? But now... my personal favorite manager, Woman, will lead the awesome BIG JOHN STUDD into action against a worthy foe, the JUNKYARD DOG!BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN) defeated JUNKYARD DOG by submission-Studd made short work of JYD, delivering an awesome running clothesline into the turnbuckle to set up the grinding bearhug for a submission victory. Lance Russell: Madden! Sit down! You know that as a broadcast journalist you are supposed to be objective. Giving a standing ovation hardly qualifies you as an impartial observer. You have a job do to, and it doesn't involve fawning over the managers! Mark Madden: Aw, lighten up Lance! Life is too short too miss out on a few selfish pleasures every now and then. So sit back and enjoy the show! Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, your next contest is a special tag team attraction! This contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 30-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, at a total combined weight of 562 pounds, the team of SERGEANT SLAUGHTER and RON GARVIN! And their opponents, at a total combined weight of 524 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Miss Elizabeth, collectively known as the MASTERS OF SUBMISSION, SAMOA JOE and TAZZ!SAMOA JOE & TAZZ (w/ MISS ELIZABETH) battled to a double DQ with SGT. SLAUGHTER & RONNIE GARVIN-Samoa Joe was trapped in the opponents' corner for a long period of time, and was brutalized by Garvin. Finally, the big Samoan took the fight out of the ring, and Garvin was up to the task. Both men ignored Danny Davis' warning to take the action to the ring, and Davis was forced to throw the match out. Mark Madden: Wow! I bet Indiana hasn't seen action like that since Dr. Jones discovered the Holy Grail! Lance Russell: Whatever you say, Mark. That was just as I would suspect from the likes of Joe and Garvin. Neither man gave an inch! Now we move ahead to a pair of quarterfianl matches in our Heartland Heavyweight Championship tournament! Brady Boone will be your third man in the ring for this contest as the "MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE takes on the "AMERICAN DRAGON" BRYAN DANIELSON!BRYAN DANIELSON defeated "MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE (w/ MISS ELIZABETH) by DQ-Savage started the match at his maniacal best, pummeling the Dragon with punches, head butts, and flying moves from every angle. But Danielson kept his wits, countering Savage and slowing things down with arm bars and suplexes. The more that Danielson slowed the match, the more infuriated Savage became, despite the efforts of Miss Elizabeth to keep him under control. Finally, Savage hurled Danielson out of the ring and slammed him head first into the steel steps. As Brady Boone signaled for the DQ, the brawl continued. Savage's stablemate Shelton Benjamin came to ringside and jumped Danielson, but the Dragon's partner Nigel McGuiness was close behind! A four-way brawl ensued and continued all the way to the locker room! Lance Russell: Good heavens! It looks like Danielson will be awarded a victory by disqualification. Savage is out of control! Mark Madden: Hold that thought, Lance. Commissioner York is coming up on the Titantron! Alexandra York: Gentlemen! Control yourselves! This is hardly the behavior we would expect from championship contenders. But sadly, it does seem that the fans in Evansville have enjoyed the action, so I am forced to make a tag team match to be held at the next Heartland Havoc. Randy Savage and Shelton Benjamin will face Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuiness in a Falls Count Anywhere showdown!Lance Russell: Let's just hope our next quarterfinal match doesn't break down the way the last one did. Let's go back to the ring now that the situation is under control. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, your next contest is scheduled for one fall with a 20-minute time limit. The winner of this match will advance to the semifinals of the Heartland Heavyweight Championship Tournament! Your referee for this contest is Senior Heartland Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, from Bay City Michigan, weighing 240 pounds, SCOTT STEINER! And his opponent, from London, England, weighing in at 220 pounds, NIGEL MCGUINESS!SCOTT STEINER pinned NIGEL MCGUINESS-Scotty made quick work of McGuiness, overpowering him with a backbreaker and finishing him with a perfectly executed Frankensteiner. Lance Russell: So Scotty moves ahead to the semifinals. Should be an exciting conclusion to the tournament. But the fun is just getting started as we now move to the Battle Royal! Midwest Championship Semifinal Battle Royal: Order of eliminationCARLITO was suplexed out by CM PUNKBIG JOHN STUDD was ambushed and eliminated by BRADSHAW as Studd was about to eliminate SGT. SLAUGHTERDIAMOND DALLAS PAGE was eliminated by DICK MURDOCH after a crushing piledriver CHRIS SABIN was eliminated by BATISTA with a dropkick! PETEY WILLIAMS was eliminated by BRADSHAW after a swinging neckbreaker CM PUNK was eliminated accidentally by BATISTA after BATISTA missed AJ STYLES with an attempted clothesline SGT. SLAUGHTER was eliminated by BRADSHAW after a Full Nelson Suplex BATISTA was dropkicked out of the ring by AJ STYLESAJ STYLES was pitched by SHELTON BENJAMIN while trying to eliminate BRADSHAWSHELTON BENJAMIN was eliminated by BRADSHAW with a Clothesline from Hell! Lillian Garcia: Your winner, and finalist for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship, BRADSHAW !Mark Madden: Bradshaw versus Jake the Snake for the Midwest Championship! I can't wait to see that match, it will be epic! Lance Russell: For once, we agree on something, Mark. Both Melina and Woman will be strategizing well into the night to prepare for this championship showdown. But now, it is the main event of the evening! Lillian Garcia: And now, ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the main event! The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish, and is for the NWA World Tag Team Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, they are the former NWA World Tag Team Champions. Weighing in at a total combined weight of 571 pounds, the team of BRUISER BRODY and SHINYA HASHIMOTO! And their opponents, your NWA World Tag Team Champions, the are collectively known as the Wild Bunch. At a total combined weight of 474 pounds, here are FLYIN' BRIAN PILLMAN and TOMMY WILDFIRE RICH!BRUISER BRODY & SHINYA HASHIMOTO defeated TOMMY "WILDFIRE" RICH & BRIAN PILLMAN by disqualificationBrody dominated much of the match, scoring two near falls against Pillman and beating him down severely. Rich finally tagged in and immediately took matters into his own hands, pitching Brody out of the ring and slamming him face first into the steel steps. Joe Kopasz was forced to call for the disqualification, awarding hte match to the former champions, but permitting Rich and Pillman to keep the titles. Lance Russell: So, there you have it fans. Rich and Pillman got disqualified but retain their titles tonight. That caps off a great night of NWA Heartland action! Congratulations to Bradshaw for winning the Battle Royal tonight to earn a shot at Jake "The Snake" Roberts for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship. That's all for tonight, folks. This is Lance Russell for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia saying God Bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA-Heartland Card #7 Special Events Center, Murray, Kentucky November 9, 2006 Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to NWA-Heartland Wrestling! On behalf of Heartland Commissioner Alexandra York, I am pleased to present some important announcements! Heartland congratulates the team of the "Wild Bunch", Tommy Rich and Brian Pillman, for winning the NWA World Tag Team Championship! As a result of this victory, the Wild Bunch has surrendered the Heartland Tag Team Titles. The Titles will be on the line next week in Lexington, Kentucky. The #1 contenders for the belts, Big John Studd and Jake "The Snake" Roberts, will face the winners of tonight's tag team match to determine the new champions! NWA-Heartland would also like to announce a special addition to tonight's card. As a result of last week's confrontation between Nigel McGuiness and Shelton Benjamin, these two competitors will face off tonight in a special LADDER MATCH! The winner of this match will be entered into the NWA Cadillac Cup!Lance Russell: Wow! What a shocking announcement! Tonight's action has just gotten kicked up a couple of notches! We will have three extra-special contests tonight, a #1 Tag Team Contenders' Match, a Ladder Match, and the Midwest Heavyweight Championship in our main event! Mark Madden: Yes, indeed, Lance! Heartland's first trip to Kentucky will be an eventful one indeed! But first, we will go to the ring for our opening contest, pitting the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels against the Canadian Destroyer, Petey Williams!PETEY WILLIAMS pinned SHAWN MICHAELS-In a surprisingly quick and one-sided bout, Williams took control from the opening bell and scored a decisive victory with the Canadian Destroyer. Mark Madden: What a performance by Williams! He just put away a former world champion with that flip piledriver! Lance, I am not easily impressed, but tonight I am impressed. Now let's check out two of the light heavyweight stars of Heartland as hometown favorite BJ Whitmer takes on the "Fallen Angel", Christopher Daniels.CHRISTOPHER DANIELS pinned BJ WHITMER-This match exceeded expectations! In a fast-paced and high-flying contest, both men traded the advantage back and forth until Daniels deftly reversed a whip to the turnbuckle, sending Whitmer careening into the buckle and rolling him up for a surprise pinfall victory! Lance Russell: Straight from the old school! Daniels is a wrestling whiz, and he was clearly one step ahead of Whitmer to catch the pinfall. Too bad for Whitmer, losing a match in his home state. Now we will see another Kentucky native, Miss Elizabeth, accompanying the dangerous Samoa Joe to the ring for a match against Ron Garvin. This match is another contest in the Heartland Heavyweight Championship Tournament! The winner will join Daniels in the quarterfinals of the championship tournament. SAMOA JOE (w/ MISS ELIZABETH) pinned RON GARVIN-Garvin was masterful in this match, taking Joe to the limit. Garvin weakened Joe twice with the Garvin Stomp, and nearly pinned him with a piledriver before Elizabeth interfered, distracting referee Danny Davis and allowing Joe to waffle Garvin with a chain and score the victory! Mark Madden: Whoa! I never knew the fragile Miss Elizabeth had it in her! Samoa Joe is one tough hombre to begin with, and if Elizabeth is able to watch his back that effectively, there will be no stopping the Submission Machine! But now, it's on to the first of our three exciting main events- the Ladder Match pitting Nigel McGuiness against Shelton Benjamin! Above the ring, Joe Kopasz has suspended a clipboard with the contract for entry into the Cadillac Cup. The first man to capture the clipboard will be your winner, and the Heartland respresentative to the Cup! LADDER MATCH: SHELTON BENJAMIN defeated NIGEL MCGUINESS -Another high-flying and closely contested match, McGuiness nearly captured the contract until Benjamin took the ladder over and sent Nigel tumbling. Benjamin was quick to follow up, slamming McGuiness with the ladder and executing a T-Bone suplex, leaving the Brit stunned while Shelton scrambled up the ladder and took the prize! Lance Russell: Oh my goodness! That is quite an unorthodox way to settle things, but Benjamin earned a hard-fought victory. We wish him the best of luck in the Cadillac Cup! It is now my privilege to introduce the Tag Team #1 Contenders' match! The dynamic young team of AJ Styles and Chris Sabin are ready for action as they will square off against one of the most decorated teams in wrestling history, the Steiner Brothers! Brady Boone will be your referee for this important contest. THE STEINER BROTHERS (w/ KIMBERLY) defeated AJ STYLES & CHRIS SABIN by countout-A superb performance by the tag team specialists as Rick and Scotty tagged frequently, wearing out Sabin then destroying Styles. Rick hit Styles with a Steiner Bulldog, but Sabin interrupted the count. Rick hurled Styles out of the ring and crushed him with a flying body press and AJ was unable to recover before Brady Boone completed the 10-count. Lance Russell: You better believe it, fans, the Steiners are the best in the business when it comes to tag team wrestling. Tomorrow night in Lexington, it will be an awesome showdown when Rick and Scotty take on Big John Studd and Jake Roberts for the Heartland Tag Titles! And now, we have come to the main event. Let's take it to Lillian Garcia for the ring introductions! Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your MAIN EVENT of the evening! This bout is scheduled for one fall with NO TIME LIMIT and NO DISQUALIFICATION. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, a member of the Acolytes Protection Agency, he is accompanied to the ring by Melina. He weighs in at 309 pounds and hails from Sweetwater, Texas, BRADSHAW! And his opponent, representing the team of Devastation, accompanied to the ring by Woman, from Stone Mountain Georgia, weighing in at 260 pounds, JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS!BRADSHAW pinned JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS-With lighting quickness for a big man, Bradshaw drilled Roberts with a clothesline against the turnbuckle, then delivered an awesome full nelson suplex to score a clean pinfall! Bradshaw becomes the first-ever Heartland Midwest Champion, and moves on to face the National Heavyweight Champion tomorrow night in Lexington! Lance Russell: Congratulations to Bradshaw on capturing the Midwest Heavyweight Championship! Please join us tomorrow night in Lexington for a major televised night of action featuring a double main event! Rick and Scott Steiner will face Big John Studd and Jake Roberts for the Heartland Tag Team Championship, and Bradshaw takes on National Heavyweight Champion Nikita Koloff! Thanks you for joining us tonight from Murray, Kentucky. Until next time, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #8 Rupp Arena, Lexington, KY November 10, 2006 Lance Russell: Good evening, Heartland fans, and greetings from Lexington, Kentucky! We are coming to you live from the Rupp Arena with another exciting night of NWA action! Mark Madden: That's right, Lance. Tonight we have TWO championship bouts scheduled! The vacant Heartland Tag Championship will be decided tonight as the Steiner Brothers take on the dangerous team of Devastation- Big John Studd and Jake the Snake Roberts. And you can bet that Woman will have Devastation ready to bring home the gold tonight. Lance Russell: There you go again, Madden. Your infatuation with Woman is painfully obvious. If you manage to not chase her back to the dressing room after the Tag Team Championship, you can stick around for the main event! National Heavyweight Champion Nikita Koloff is with us tonight to defend his title against Bradshaw! Before we get started, we have a special announcement. I am joined at ringside by the lovely Kimberly Page. Miss Kimberly has asked for time to share with the fans about her newest acquisition. Kimberly Page: Thank you, Lance. Although we were quite pleased with the performance of Paul Orndorff, we no longer require his services. Mr. Orndorff has been traded to SCW, and I am pleased to introduce the newest member of our family, "Ravishing" Rick Rude!Rick Rude comes down to ringside, accompanied by Dallas Page. Rick Rude: Thank you Miss Kimberly. It is great to be here in Chattanooga! Lance Russell: Lexington, Mr. Rude. Lexington, Kentucky. Rick Rude: Shut up, you four-eyed geek. All these hillbilly hick towns look the same. And none of them deserve to have a truly sexy man like me in the building. If it weren't for the beautiful Miss Kimberly and my good buddy Dallas, I would never set foot in a stinkin' mud hole like this. So what I'd like to have right now is for all you fat, out of shape, moonshine-swilling Kentucky cretins to shut your toothless mouths and watch in awe as I take off my robe! Rude throws down the microphone and climbs into the ring. He shimmies his hips and begins to open his robe when the sounds of Aerosmith's "Dream On" suddenly fill the arena. Woman appears at the top of the ramp, accompanied by Jake Roberts, Big John Studd, and Batista.Woman: Now wait just one minute! I will not have this narcissist upstage my men on the night that we capture the Heartland Tag Team Championship! So Kimberly, why don't you take your skinny little butt out of here, and take those buffoons with you before you dirty up the ring any more. We have a championship to win here tonight! Rick Rude: Hey! You don't disrespect the sexiest man on the planet like that! You wouldn't know a REAL man if you saw one. Why don't you send me one of those jacked-up dunderheads up here right now and let me show you what it takes to excel in this ring! Batista grabs the microphone from Woman.Batista: You're on! BATISTA (w/ WOMAN) pinned RICK RUDE (w/ KIMBERLY)-The intensity level for these two was through the roof as they brawled in the ring and out! As the melee continued, Kimberly attempted to intervene but was knocked off the ring apron! Rude barely seemed to notice, continuing to battle with Batista as DDP tended to his fallen manager. Woman took advantage of the situation, distracting referee Danny Davis as Rude was setting up the Rude Awakening. The distraction allowed Batista to score a low blow, escaping the hold and setting up the Batista Bomb for a clean pinfall victory! DDP appeared very upset at the injury to Kimberly, and exchanged glares with Rude after the match.Mark Madden: Woman, oh, Woman! Won't you marry me now? That lady is the finest creature on earth! I can't wait to see the celebration of Devastation leter tonight. But first, we have another interesting singles match. Referee Heather Owens is in the ring to officate the contest of large vs. small, in my opinion a mismatch, as Dick Murdoch takes on Chris Sabin. CHRIS SABIN (w/ DDP) defeated DICK MURDOCH by disqualification-Angered and embarassed by her humiliation at the hands of Woman, DDP brought Sabin to the ring and offered him a $5,000 bonus if he could "take out" Murdoch. Murdoch, a tough guy in his own right, took the fight to Sabin, overpowering the smaller foe and almost pinning him with a Brainbuster. Sabin fought back gamely, taking the match outside the ring and nailing Murdoch with a flying bodypress. When the action returned to the ring, Sabin misfired on another aerial move and became tangled in the ropes. Seeing his chance, Murdoch pummelled Sabin and shoved Heather Owens away when the undersized referee tried to free Sabin. As Heather called for the bell, Murdoch high-tailed it back to the dressing room with Page in pursuit, but appeared to escape with his hide intact. Lance Russell: Foiled again! It's a rough night for Kimberly by all accounts. Word from the training room is that she will be all right, but her men have really made a mess of it this evening. Perhaps Miss Elizabeth will have a better time of it, as she brings her man Tazz to the ring to take on another of Woman's charges, Terry Funk. The winner of this match will be the last quarterfinalist for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Brady Boone will be the referee for this important contest. Mark Madden: Lance! We have a situation in the locker room! Tazz has been jumped by Terry Funk and Christopher Daniels! Daniels has come from behind Tazz and nailed him with a steel chair! I don't know if he will be able to compete. He is in a lot of pain and holding his back, but he insists on coming out for the match! TERRY FUNK (w/ WOMAN) defeated TAZZ (w/ MISS ELIZABETH) by Countout-Funk was at his brutal best, abusing the weakened Tazz and focusing on his injured back. Funk used abdominal stretches and neckbreakers repeatedly, working over the back with surgical precision. Tazz fought back, brawling outside the ring with assistance from Elizabeth. But eventually the injury wore Tazz down, and Funk surprised him with a falling cross-body block on the outside and put Tazz down for the 10-count. Funk then continued his assault, picking up the injured Tazz and slamming him onto the security rail. Tazz was stretchered out of the arena as Funk took the microphone. Terry Funk: You see, Kimberly, THAT is how you take someone out! Suddenly, Alexandra York appears on the Titantron. Alexandra York: Enough! Woman, your men are out of control! I have seen enough! We have two title matches tonight, and we will NOT have these kinds of antics to continue. For the rest of the evening, Woman, you and your thugs are BANNED from ringside! Lance Russell: Way to go, Ms. York! Finally, we will get to see some legitimate competition. It's time now for our Tag Team Championship showdown as Big John Studd and Jake Roberts take on the Steiner Brothers!THE STEINER BROTHERS defeated DEVASTATION-Scotty pinned Studd after a Steiner DDT to capture the Heartland Tag Team Championship! Mark Madden: What a screw job, Lance! How can Devastation expect to win without Woman? Would my Steelers have won the Super Bowl if Bill Cowher was banned from the field? This is bogus, Lance, and I think the Championship Committee should investigate this and award Devastation with a rematch! I am going to personally see to it that justice is done! Madden storms away from the broadcast booth.Lillian Garcia (in the ring): Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for your MAIN EVENT! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 30-minute time limit. This bout is for the NWA National Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 309 pounds, from Sweetwater, Texas, a member of the Acolyte Protection Agency, and the newly crowned Heartland Midwest Champion, BRADSHAW! And his opponent, from Moscow, Russia, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is the NWA National Heavyweight Champion, the "Russian Nightmare", NIKITA KOLOFF!NIKITA KOLOFF pinned BRADSHAW to retain the NWA National Heavyweight Championship!-Bradshaw came out a house afire, nailing Nikita with a vicious clothesline for a two-count. But Nikita's Russian Sickle found its mark, and he retained the belt in a decisive battle of the clotheslines! Lance Russell: Very impressive performance by your National Heavyweight Champion, Nikita Koloff. Congratulations on a fine victory over a tough opponent! Fans, it has been our privilege to present this special night of action from Lexington, Kentucky. For Mark Madden, wherever he is, and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

Havoc in the Heartland II Louisville, Kentucky November 15, 2006 Lance Russell: Hello, fans, and welcome to the Louisville Gardens as NWA Heartland presents, "Havoc in the Heartland II". We are here tonight for one reason, and one reason only- to crown the first ever Heartland Heavyweight Champion! Mark Madden: That's right, Lance. We have eight contenders lined up for tonight's showdown. These men have battled through intense competition to be here. And tonight, they will go to the mats to decide the title: Lance Russell: Indeed they will. Tonight there will be no disqualifications, no managers, no interference, just competitive wrestling action! Let's go to the ring now for the quarterfinal matchups! TERRY FUNK pinned BRYAN DANIELSON-Danielson had Funk in trouble for most of the match, but made a critical error, attacking Funk outside of the ring and missing with a flying double axe-handle. Funk capitalized, rolling the Dragon back into the ring and pinning him cleanly after a piledriver. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS defeated SAMOA JOE by submission-The unthinkable happened! The TNA rivals squared off, and it was Daniels who took charge, leveling Joe with a series of aerial maneuvers and nailing him with the BME, setting up the Angel's Wings for a submission victory! SCOTT STEINER pinned STING-The matched turned when Sting missed the Stinger Splash and Scotty took advantage. Scotty pinned Sting after a well-executed Frankensteiner. RICK STEINER pinned BRADSHAW-A hard-fought, back-and-forth match ended with a Flying Bulldog and a win for the dog-faced gremlin. Mark Madden: Lance, I can't believe it! It will be Steiner vs. Steiner in one semifinal, and two of Woman's wrestlers squaring off in the other! Lance Russell: This should be quite a conclusion to this tournament, Mark. We have already seen some great action. That Funk match was outstanding, and Scotty Steiner and Sting absolutely tore the house down! Let's get back to the ring for the semifinals. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS pinned TERRY FUNK-A quick and controversial victory! Funk charged Daniels at the opening bell, missing with a running knee strike, which Daniels converted into a sidewalk slam and a pinfall victory! Scotty Steiner accused Woman of rigging the match to save Daniels for the finals, but Woman denied any wrongdoing. Commissioner Alexandra York declared that there was no evidence of any misconduct, so the tournament must continue! SCOTT STEINER pinned RICK STEINER-The Heartland Tag Team Champions went to battle against each other, and the contest did not disappoint. The brothers suplexed each other all over the ring, and even scuffled briefly on the floor on two occasions. Scotty won the match with his Frankensteiner and the brothers embraced afterward. Mark Madden: Give me a break! Who needs this huggy business in the world of wrestling? I wanna see a FIGHT! Lance Russell: You can count on that, Mark. It's time for the finals! Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, NWA Heartland proudly presents the main event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with no time limit and no disqualification. Your referee for this contest is NWA- Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, in the corner to my left, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is a native of Bay City, Michigan. He is also a co-holder of the NWA Heartland Tag Team Championship... Scotty Steiner! And his opponent, in the corner to my right, coming to you from the City of Angels. He weights in at 219 pounds. Here is the "Fallen Angel", Christopher Daniels! SCOTT STEINER pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS-Woman's strategy failed! The fresh Daniels was still no match for the athletic and powerful Scotty, who surprised the Fallen Angel with a powerbomb and scored a quick victory! Lance Russell: What a fine performance by Scotty Steiner! This fine young athlete from the state of Michigan has won three matches tonight, and captured the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship! He beat Sting... he beat his own brother Rick Steiner... and he beat Christopher Daniels. This man deserves the belt, and he deserves to enjoy the celebration in the ring right now. Rick Steiner is in the ring, Sting is in the ring, and now Alexandra York is presenting Scotty with the 15 pounds of gold to wear around his waist. Mark Madden: Wait a minute! This isn't right, Lance! Scotty already holds the tag team gold! How in the world does he think he can defend BOTH titles? He may have to give up the tag team title. In fact, he and Rick SHOULD surrender the belts. Big John Studd and Jake Roberts deserve to be recognized as the TRUE Heartland Tag Team Champions. Lance Russell: Now hold on, Madden. You are getting ahead of yourself. We all know you have the hots for Woman, but I refuse to allow you to use your influence to favor her team. Let's see if we can get an official ruling from Ms. York while she is in the building. I'm going to throw it over to Lillian Garcia for an interview with Commissioner York. Lillian Garcia: Thank you, Lance. I am here with Heartland Commissioner Alexandra York. Ms. York, there seems to be some controversy about the Heartland Tag Team Championship. Will you allow Scotty Steiner to hold both the Heartland Heavyweight Championship AND the Tag Team Title? Alexandra York: Thank you, Lillian. First of all, I would like to congratulate Scotty Steiner on a job well done here this evening. I am honored to present you with the Heartland Heavyweight Championship belt! And as far as the Tag Team Titles go, we wish you the best of luck! You are officially permitted to carry both championships as long as you meet the deadline for mandatory defenses of both titles. Lance Russell: Well, Madden, I guess that settles that. Congratulations again to your new NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion, Scotty Steiner. And fans, thank you for joining us here in Louisville this evening for Havoc in the Heartland II. For Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA - Heartland Card #9 County Events Ctr., Lebanon, Tennessee November 17, 2006 Lance Russell: Welcome, fans, to the County Events Center in Lebanon, Tennessee! NWA - Heartland is proud to bring you another exciting night of wrestling action. We have a great card planned for this evening, to be highlighted by the main event pitting Big John Studd against Diamond Dallas Page!Mark Madden: No doubt about it, Lance. But first, we take you to a new segment debuting tonight. This promises to be a very interesting segment, bringing you the news and personalities from around NWA Heartland. It's called "The Front Page", hosted by the one and only Diamond Dallas Page!Diamond Dallas Page is in the ring, accompanied by the lovely Kimberly.Page: That’s right, Mark Madden, welcome to the hottest new segment in the Heartland! This is The Front Page and I am your host, Diamond Dallas Page. My guest this week is a man I consider to be the most overrated wrestler on the planet. This man TAPPED OUT in the Heartland Heavyweight Championship tournament! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the “So-called Submission Machine”, Samoa Joe!Joe makes his way down to the ring, but before he arrives, he is jumped by Batista! Batista lays out Joe with a steel chair and beats him down. Page looks surprised, but makes no attempt to assist Joe. Page and Kimberly leave the ring area as Batista continues to pummel the helpless Joe, cheered on by Melina. Elizabeth rushes to the ring, but it is too late as Joe lays unconscious. Elizabeth cries as Joe is loaded onto a stretcher and taken from the arena.Lance Russell: Mark, I am disgusted! That was totally unprovoked. Mark Madden: That’s the world of professional wrestling for you, Lance. Joe and Batista were scheduled for a match next week in Memphis, but it looks like Batista wanted to take matters into his own hands. You gotta watch your back in this business! Lance Russell: That may well be true Mark. We’ll get a remote over to the hospital and give you an update on Joe as soon as we have any information to pass along. Our first match tonight features an exciting young competitor who recently made the finals of the Heartland Heavyweight Championship Tournament. Christopher Daniels is one of the brightest up-and-coming stars in the business, and the man who made Samoa Joe tap out! Let’s watch as he moves out against Chris Sabin. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ WOMAN) pinned CHRIS SABIN (w/ KIMBERLY PAGE)-The two cruiserweight stars opened the card in magnificent fashion, putting on an aerial classic. Both men wore each other down until the managers got involved. Kimberly stopped a pinfall chance by Daniels, but Woman responded by tripping Sabin, setting up her man Daniels to convert the Angel's Wings for the pinfall. Mark Madden: Well, Lance, I guess there’s more than one way to skin a cat. Both Daniels and Batista have gotten over on Samoa Joe. Personally, I like Batista’s approach better! BRUISER BRODY & DICK MURDOCH defeated SGT. SLAUGHTER & RON GARVIN by disqualification-After a rugged old-school brawl, Garvin was disqualified for smashing Murdoch into the steel ring post. After the decision, Slaughter and Garvin had words. Lance Russell: Quite an impressive debut match for Bruiser Brody. Since he lost the World Tag Team Titles, he has moved on from Shinya Hashimoto and it looks like he has found quite an imposing partner in “Captain Redneck”. NIGEL McGUINESS pinned AJ STYLES-Styles continues to battle with the bruised rib cage. McGuiness took advantage after a tight contest, nailing Styles with a flying bodypress off the top rope and capturing the win! Mark Madden: Not bad, not bad. Styles still can’t get past that rib cage injury. I expect better from him once he is fully healed. But now, the match I have been waiting for all night, my man Big John Studd against that loudmouth DDP! BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN) defeated DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE (w/ KIMBERLY)-In an epic brawl which lasted over 40 minutes, Studd and Page fought high and low, with Kimberly and Woman mixing it up early and often. Page nearly won the match after Woman threw powder at Page and missed, hitting Studd, but the big man managed to escape out of the ring and clear his vision. Studd rallied, taking the action outside of the ring and beating down Page. But before Studd could take advantage, Kimberly got tangled up with referee Danny Davis and her man was able to escape. The match ended with both men and both managers in the ring. With Woman and Kimberly brawling, Studd caught Page with the Giant Backbreaker! With Kimberly tangled with Woman, Page was unable to give up, and nearly passed out in the hold before Davis finally took notice and called for the bell. Lance Russell: Wow! This Big John Studd is a force to be reckoned with. And with that evil Woman watching his back, he will be a serious threat to the health and well-being of everyone in the Heartland. Fans, I have just gotten word that Samoa Joe suffered a serious back injury and will be kept at the hospital. I don’t think we’ll be seeing him in Memphis next week. I only hope someone will step up and put that animal Batista in his place. For Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA-Heartland Card #10 Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis, Tennessee November 21, 2006 Lillian Garcia: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Memphis! NWA Heartland is proud to be here tonight to bring you a special night of wrestling action! Tonight we have an extra special main event- a World Heavyweight Title Match! Ox Baker, your World Heavyweight Champion is here tonight to defend his title against your Heartland Heavyweight Champion, Scotty Steiner. Our opening contest of the evening is a singles match, scheduled for one fall with a 20-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Heather Owens. Introducing first, in the corner to my right, from Chicago Illinois, weighing in at 220 pounds, CM PUNK! And his opponent, making his way down the aisle, accompanied by Miss Elizabeth, weighing in at 235 pounds, a native of Sarasota, Florida, the MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE!RANDY "MACHO MAN" SAVAGE (w/ MISS ELIZABETH) defeated CM PUNK by disqualification-Macho Man took the measure of Punk from the opening bell, catching him with a piledriver and nearly scoring a quick pinfall. Punk took the action outside of the ring, whipping Savage into the steel ring post to force Heather Owens to call for the bell. Enraged, Savage turned the tables on Punk, grabbing the ring bell and swinging wildly. As the brawl continued, Batista entered the fray and blindsided Savage. Punk appeared surprised, and moved to protect Miss Elizabeth, but Batista went on to powerbomb Savage through the commentator's table! Savage remained motionless on the arena floor as Batista and Melina gloated. Savage was taken from the arena on a stretcher, accompanied by Miss Elizabeth in tears. Lance Russell: What a piece of garbage! That animal Batista has just taken out ANOTHER member of Miss Elizabeth's family! Mark Madden: And worse yet, Lance, he took out our announce table! Lance Russell: It looks like Savage is being taken to the hospital. We'll send Lillian Garcia for an update later in the broadcast. What a shocking development for the Macho Man. But it looks like cooler heads have prevailed and we are ready to go back t othe ring for another match. SHELTON BENJAMIN is in the ring, without Miss Elizabeth, to face off against Melina's man, CARLITO!SHELTON BENJAMIN pinned CARLITO (w/ MELINA)-Benjamin and Carlito went at it in a fast and furious aerial showdown which thrilled the Mid-South fans. Carlito played it straight up, keeping the match on the level despite the influence of the devious valet. Carlito hit a couple of backcrackers resulting in near-falls, and appeared to be in control. But Shelton took the match to the outside and slammed Carlito head-first into the remnants of the announce table. Benjamin followed up with a T-Bone Suplex and a two-count. Melina jumped to the ring apron, but Benjamin inadvertently knocked her to the floor. As Carlito look to his fallen manager outside the ring, Benjamin followed up with another T-Bone and scored the victory! As Melina lay injured on the floor, Batista returned to the ring area to attack Benjamin, but Shelton quickly sidestepped the Animal and escaped to the locker room. Mark Madden: What a coward! Somebody tell Benjamin to get back out hear and take his whoopin! First he assaults an innocent lady, half his size, then he won't stick around to fight someone his own size! Lance Russell: I beg to differ with you, Mark. Melina is certainly not innocent and she is definitely not a lady! The good news is, she appears to be okay. Carlito is helping her back to the locker room. Brady Boone is in the ring to referee our next match, as the tough Texan DICK MURDOCH will try his hand against the animal BATISTA.BATISTA pinned DICK MURDOCH-The animal continued his tear through the Heartland, finishing Murdoch quickly with a piledriver and a Batista Bomb. Mark Madden: Wow! You gotta hand it to the big animal. He can get it done in the ring just as well as he can take care of Melina's business on the outside. And speaking of taking care of business, we have an update on Randy Savage. Lillian Garcia is with Miss Elizabeth at the hospital where the Macho Man is being evaluated. Lillian Garcia: Thank you, Mark. I am here with Miss Elizabeth. Can you give us an update on the condition of the Macho Man? Miss Elizabeth (crying): The doctor said he is hurt pretty badly... his back is hurt... oh, Lillian, I hope he will be okay... Melina keeps hurting all my wrestlers... I can't keep control of all of them... from now on, Lillian, I will manage Randy and ONLY Randy... I am so sorry for Joe and for Tazz and for Shelton... but you will be better off on your own... while I focus on Randy.... my heart belongs to Randy... Elizabeth sobs and Lillian gives her a hug.Lillian Garcia: Let's go back to the Coliseum and give Miss Elizabeth some time to be with Randy. Mark, back over to you. Mark Madden: Oh, give me a break! There's no crying in wrestling! Let's get back to some action and watch some REAL MEN bring the fight to the ring. BIG JOHN STUDD and JAKE ROBERTS are ready for action against SHAWN MICHAELS and STING!STING & SHAWN MICHAELS defeated BIG JOHN STUDD & JAKE THE SNAKE ROBERTS (w/ WOMAN)-A wild and intense battle between two powerful teams! Sting and Michaels, the "Soldiers of the Covenant", took the fight to the team called Devastation. Roberts was in big trouble as Sting prepared a Scorpion Deathlock, but Woman interfered and nailed the Stinger with a low blow to put her team in control! Roberts tagged out to Studd, but Sting caught the big man with a flting clothesline off the ropes. As Woman was being put out of the ring, Sting nailed Studd with a Stinger Splash and rolled him up as Danny Davis turned and counted the pinfall! Lance Russell: Wow! The Soldiers of the Covenant really took charge in that match. What a victory! The future looks bright for the team of Sting and Shawn. And now, fans, we have a special treat- our main event of the evening! Lillian Garcia cannot be here to provide the usual ring introductions, so I will present the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. This giant of a man hails from Waterloo, Iowa at 313 pounds. His name is OX BAKER. Ox will take on our own Heartland Heavyweight Champion, SCOTTY STEINER!MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPOX BAKER pinned SCOTTY STEINER-Steiner had Baker backpedalling for much of the match, taking advantage of his technical skill and dazzling the mammoth with his array of suplexes. But the Ox didn't get to be champion by accident, and he withstood Steiner's opening onslaught. Baker slowed the pace of the match and took control with his power. After a massive press slam, Baker drilled Scotty with two Heart Punches and scored the pinfall to retain his championship! Scotty appeared to be shaken up after the heart punches, but Rick came to the ring and helped his brother to his feet and Scotty left under his own power. Lance Russell: A great match between two great champions. Scotty gave it his best, but the big Ox proved his mettle on this night and will keep the NWA World Title. Thank you, fans, for joining us here in Memphis this evening. Be sure to tune in Friday night from Chattanooga when we bring you another exciting night of wrestling action. We'll see the debut of the exciting young tag team, the Irish Airborne, and in our main event, the Midwest Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as Bradshaw defends against Christopher Daniels. For Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA-Heartland Card #11 November 24, 2006 McKenzie Arena, Nashville, Tennessee Lance Russell: Good evening fans, and welcome to another edition of NWA Heartland Wrestling! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from the McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee! We have a special evening of action planned tonight, featuring the Midwest Heavyweight Championship on the line! The champion Bradshaw will be defending his title against the Fallen Angel, Christopher Daniels! But first, we will begin the evening with a special segment, "The Front Page", featuring Diamond Dallas Page.Dallas Page: That's right, Lance! My guest this week is a man who I call, "The Last of the Mohicans", Shelton Benjamin. This man has been abandoned by his manager, and has stood and watched every one of his friends get beaten down. Last week it was the Macho Man, Randy Savage, who was carted out of the arena after getting powerslammed through the announce table by the animal Batista! Now Savage is laid out in the hospital and Miss Elizabeth is crying a river. Samoa Joe and Tazz both are on the shelf. What's next on tap for you, Shelton, now that you have NO ONE to watch your back? Shelton Benjamin: You know, DDP, it has been a tough row to hoe these past few weeks, but I am a man who can take care of myself. I am good to go for the Cadillac Cup, and I have a Jr. X Championship match coming up against Senshi. But I will be watching out of both sides of my head for anybody who wants to mess with the finest athlete in the Heartland. Dallas Page: That's a bold statement, Shelton. Samoa Joe and Randy Savage ain't exactly chopped liver, and Batista tore through those two and left them laying. And besides, you and Savage are scheduled for a tag match tonight? What are you gonna do? Music begins to play overhead. The tune "Cult of Personality" blares over the arena speakers, and CM PUNK emerges on the set! Punk approaches Benjamin, staring him down intently.CM Punk: Shelton Benjamin! You need somebody to watch your back? You call yourself "the finest athlete in the Heartland". Maybe you should consider joining forces with the most competitive man on the planet- CM Punk! Punk offers his hand to Benjamin. Shelton hesitates, but accepts the handshake as the music blares again.Dallas Page: Ladies and gentlemen, there you have it! We have just seen the formation of a new tag team in the Heartland. The self-proclaimed "most competitive man on the planet" is going to team with the finest natural athlete in the Heartland. Back over to you, Lance. Lance Russell: Okay, fans, you heard it here first. CM Punk and Shelton Benjamin should be a force in the Heartland. I believe I will refer to these guys as "Heart and Soul". Heart and Soul have already entered the ring together as we await the appearance of one of the most anticipated arrivals in Heartland history- the team of the IRISH AIRBORNE, DAVE CRIST and his brother JAKE CRIST. Let's go to the ring for our opening contest! CM PUNK & SHELTON BENJAMIN defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE-Shelton was clearly fired up for this match, dominating the action against the dynamic young newcomers and pinning Jake Crist after an incredible flying crossbody block off the ropes. Mark Madden: What a match! I bet the Airborne had no idea what they were getting themselves into in that match. But I agree, Lance, this tandem of Punk and Benjamin will make noise in this federation. But speaking of young punks who have no idea what they're getting themselves in to, let's watch another wide-eyed wanna be, BJ WHITMER, and see as he gets taken apart by the tough veteran, RON GARVIN.RON GARVIN pinned BJ WHITMER-Garvin simply overpowered and overwhelmed Whitmer, stunning him with a piledriver and pinning him after a flying sunset flip. Lance Russell: I have to hand it to you, Mark. You called that one, right on the nose. Whitmer is an up-and-comer, but Garvin is a former World Heavyweight Champion and not a man to be taken lightly by any account. Our next match will take us back to the old school. TERRY FUNK is here, and ready to go toe-to-toe with the Dog-Faced Gremlin, RICK STEINER.RICK STEINER pinned TERRY FUNK (w/ WOMAN)-Funk and Steiner engaged in a wild brawl, fighting outside of the ring for much of the match. Funk tortured Steiner with the spinning toe hold both inside the ring and out, and nailed a piledriver, but Rick managed to kick out. Woman attempted to interfere, but failed, earning a tongue-lashing from Funk. Steiner took advantage of the distraction, catching Funk from behind and executing a textbook Release German Suplex to capture the pinfall! Mark Madden: Now that's what I call wrestling! Steiner really took a lot of punishment in that match. A smarter man would have quit while he was ahead, but nobody ever accused Rick Steiner of having a lick of sense. You gotta hand it to the guy, he came out on top in the end. And now, at long last, we get to see the man who has rocked the Heartland in action with his tag team partner as BATISTA and CARLITO square off against AJ STYLES and CHRIS SABIN.AJ STYLES & CHRIS SABIN (w/ KIMBERLY) defeated BATISTA & CARLITO (w/ MELINA)-Melina's crew suffered a rare defeat when a tiring Batista made the mistake of climbing to the top rope! Sabin alertly caught Batista and hurled him to the mat! As Styles cut off Carlito, Sabin delivered an awesome Cradle Shock to Batista to score a stunning pinfall! Lance Russell: What a shock! Sabin and Styles have scored a stunning upset, and Batista took the pinfall! The big man is enraged, and it's gonna take both Carlito and Melina to get him settled down. Let's hope he doesn't tear apart Kimberly's family the way he did Miss Elizabeth's. Let's get that lunatic out of the ring so we can see the main event! Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for the main event! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 30-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is NWA Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. This contest is for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 232 pounds, from the City of Angels, accompanied by Woman, here is the Fallen Angel, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Melina, weighing in a 309 pounds, and hailing from Sweetwater, Texas, he is your NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Champion, BRADSHAW!MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPCHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ WOMAN) pinned BRADSHAW (w/ MELINA) to capture the Midwest Heavyweight Championship!-The Fallen Angel was masterful in dismantling Bradshaw. Daniels baffled the big Texican with aerial and technical manuevers, and outfoxed Bradshaw when action spilled out to the floor. Melina did her best, turning the tide in favor of Bradshaw on a couple of occasions. In the end, Daniels was able to reverse Bradshaw's attempt to slam his head into the ringside table, slamming the champion headfirst and rolling him into the ring. With Bradshaw incapacitated, Daniels delivered the Angel's Wings and scored a clean pinfall victory! Lance Russell: Wow! History has been made here in Chattanooga, as Heartland has crowned a new Midwest Heavyweight Champion! Congratulations to Christopher Daniels on a stunning victory over the former champion, Bradshaw! That matched capped off a terrific night of NWA Heartland action here in Chattanooga. We hope you will join us this coming Monday night, as Heartland hits the ring once again, from the Viking Hall in Bristol, Tennessee. Heartland Tag Team Champions, the Steiner Brothers, will be defending their titles against AJ Styles and Chris Sabin! For Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA - Heartland Card #12 Viking Hall, Bristol, Tennessee November 27, 2006 Lance Russell: Greetings, fans of the Heartland! We are happy to be here in Bristol, Tennessee tonight to bring you another exciting night of Heartland wrestling! We have an exciting card for you tonight, with a Heartland Tag Team title match, and a special showdown between two of the all-time great legends of the sport! Our main event tonight will see the STEINER BROTHERS defending the Heartland Tag Team Championship against the exciting young duo of AJ STYLES and CHRIS SABIN!Mark Madden: What a match that should be. Personnally, I don't think those punks stand a chance against the champs. The match I am excited about should be one for the ages as the "HITMAN" BRET HART faces off against STING! But first, we have a few preliminary matches to get us started. Newcomer RICK RUDE is on hand tonight, and he will get things started as he takes on the "AMERICAN DRAGON", BRYAN DANIELSON.RICK RUDE (w/ KIMBERLY) defeated BRYAN DANIELSON-The two grapplers exchanged holds in the early going until the veteran Rude nailed the Dragon with a clothesline out of nowhere. The Ravishing One followed with a pair of Rude Awakenings to score the pinfall. Lance Russell: A fine start to the evening! Rick Rude looked very impressive against some stiff competition. Next up we have another fine, athletic youngster in PETEY WILLIAMS, squaring off against a dangerous veteran in JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS.JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS (w/ WOMAN) pinned PETEY WILLIAMS-A wild match! Roberts dominated the early going, beating down the Canadian with arrogance. But Petey kicked out of a DDT and took the action out of the ring, slamming Jake's head into the steel steps and nailing Roberts with a Canadian Destroyer. After Roberts kicked out, Woman threw powder into the face of Williams and Jake was back in control. Roberts hit a vicious gutbuster for a two-count, but Petey rallied again and smashed the Snake with a beautiful spinning DDT and nearly acored a pin. Before Petey could follow up, Woman sneaked into the ring and nailed him with a low blow, unseen by referee Danny Davis, allowing her man to catch Petey with another DDT and capture the victory. Mark Madden: That's two in a row, Lance. The old school warriors are dominating tonight! And sure enough, Woman is the beauty AND the brains behind this operation! And now, we will see the return of a ticked-off Texan, BRADSHAW, fresh from losing his Midwest Title. Bradshaw will be taking on TAZZ in tonight's next contest. BRADSHAW (w/ MELINA) pinned TAZZ-Tazz came to the ring without Miss Elizabeth, and still nursing a severe back injury from last week's beatdown by Terry Funk. The New Yorker fought gamely against the big Texan, but was unable to overcome the power of the former Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Bradshaw clobbered Tazz with a vicious clothesline from hell for a decisive victory. Lance Russell: Wow! Bradshaw is back with a vengeance! He just about took the head off of Tazz with that clothesline. His rematch with Christopher Daniels should be one heck of a contest. Now, fans, we have a very special contest between two of the finest competitors this sport has to offer. Former WWF Champion BRET "THE HITMAN" HART will take on former NWA World Champion STING in one that should be a match for the ages! BRET HART pinned STING-The match started out on respectful terms, with the two legends exchanging a handshake. But at the first opportunity, Hart executed a Victory Roll and hooked the tights of the Stinger, catching a surprise pinfall! Sting was enraged, and went after Hart outside the ring. As the brawl escalated, Sting's partner Shawn Michaels came to the ring, trying to act as peacemaker. It didn't take long for Michaels and Hart to get after each other, and the fighting continued! At that moment, Petey Williams rushed to the ring, coming to the aid of Hart! The two Canadians stared down the "Soldiers of the Covenant", but the hostilities cooled down. Sting took the microphone and demanded a rematch, but Hart laughed and called Sting a second-rate loser. This infuriated Michaels, who grabbed the microphone. "You should know all about losers, Hart!" Hart responded by coming after Michaels, but Sting and Williams pried the two apart. Finally, Heartland officials intervened and managed to get all four men back to the dressing room. Both Sting and Hart appeared to be slightly injured, but both men left the arena without seeking medical assistance.Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 45-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Tag Team Championship. Your referee for this contest is NWA Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challengers, accompanied to the ring by KIMBERLY, at a total combined weight 430 pounds, the team of AJ STYLES and CHRIS SABIN! And their opponents, the Heartland Tag Team Champions. They hail from Bay City, Michigan. At a total combined weight of 490 pounds, the team of RICK and SCOTTY, THE STEINER BROTHERS!MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPTHE STEINER BROTHERS defeated AJ STYLES & CHRIS SABIN to retain the titles-The Steiner Brothers were dominant in defending the belts, as the flashy young duo of Styles and Sabin could never get any meaningful offense established. Rick and Scotty looked crisp, trapping Sabin in the ring and wearing him down. Scotty did most of the damage before tagging out to Rick for a double-team Steiner Bulldog for the win. Lance Russell: Wow! The Steiner Brothers are certainly imposing champions. They looked very impressive in putting aside the challenge of Styles and Sabin. What a great night of action! We thank you for joining us here in Bristol, Tennessee. For Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA - Heartland Card #13 Canton Civic Center, Canton, Ohio December 2, 2006 Lance Russell: Good evening, NWA fans, and welcome to Canton Ohio! We are here in the shadow of the Pro Football Hall of Fame to bring you an exciting card of wrestling action. We have an extra special guest in the building tonight, the NWA Junior X Division Champion, SENSHI! Senshi is here tonight to defend the title against the challenger, SHELTON BENJAMIN, in what promises to be a scintillating Main Event! Leading up to that match, we have a great set of matches planned, so sit back and enjoy the show! BUFF BAGWELL pinned CM PUNK-A back-and-forth match, with Punk controlling most of the action, punctuated by some timely reversals by Bagwell to keep the match competitive. The veteran Bagwell outfoxed his opponent in the end, dodging a ram to the turnbuckle and rolling up Punk for a pinfall. RON GARVIN defeated BRADSHAW (w/ MELINA) by disqualification-A hard-fought brawl between two rugged competitors. The advantage changed hands throughout the match, with neither man taking charge. Finally, action spilled outside of the ring where both men refused to heed the warnings of referee Brady Boone. As Boone tried to intervene, Bradshaw shoved him away and was disqualified. As the fracas continued, boone got into a shouting match with Garvin, who shoved the official out of the ring and down to the floor. This brought Heartland Commissioner Alexandra York to ringside, as Melina managed to convince Bradshaw to retreat to the locker room. Commissioner York fined Garvin $5,000 for his actions, but did not suspend him.BATISTA (w/ MELINA) pinned RICK STEINER-The big animal continued his tear through the Heartland, decimating the dog-faced gremlin with an awesome Batista Bomb after a huge spinebuster. Batista stood over his fallen opponent, staring into the back stage area and gesturing with his hands around his waist, clearly in search of a title match against Heartland Heavyweight Champion Scotty Steiner. Mark Madden: Awesome! This Batista is a maniac, and now he has his sights on the Heavyweight Title! Clearly, he is sending a message to the champion, after easily dismantling his big ugly brother. What a confrontation that would be! Scotty Steiner is a great athlete and a great champion, but I don't know if even he can handle the power and intensity of the big animal Batista. Before we go to break, let's recap tonight's action. Buff Bagwell looked good in his debut match against CM Punk. What a fine victory for the former world champion! Looks like Scotty Steiner has more than one tough challenge ahead. I thought that Garvin and Bradshaw would fight all night! It's not surprising that the tensions between those two became so hot. There may be another hookup in the future for those two. After the intermission, we have a spectacular match between BRET HART and JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS! These are two legendary figures in the sport, and they should have an outstanding contest. That match will bring us to our main event showdown for the X title! ***INTERMISSION***BRET HART pinned JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS (w/ WOMAN)-In spite of wrestling with injured ribs, Hart was at his technical best, quickly catching the measure of Jake Roberts and pinning him with a side Russian Leg Sweep. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your main event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit, and is for the NWA Junior X-Division Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from Spartansburg, South Carolina, and weighing in at 228 pounds, here is SHELTON BENJAMIN! And his opponent, the reigning NWA X-Division Champion, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 180 pounds, SENSHI!MAIN EVENT: NWA JUNIOR "X" DIVISION TITLESENSHI pinned SHELTON BENJAMIN to successfully defend the X Title!-Senshi was brilliant in his defense against Benjamin, countering him at every turn. Senshi wore down Shelton with stiff kicks and suplexes, earning the admiration of the Canton crowd. Shelton attempted to rally, but Senshi reversed an arm drag into cartwheel kick, setting up the fallen Benjamin for the Ki Krusher and the pin. Following the contest, Senshi helped Benjamin to his feet and Benjamin raised the champion's arm in a show of sportsmanship. Lance Russell: Wow! What a fine matchup between two exciting young stars of the sport. Senshi really proved why he deserves to have that belt around his waist. He is an honorable champion and we here in the Heartland wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Thank you for joining us here in Canton tonight! We hope you will be with us on Monday night when we come to you from the Memorial Athletic Center in Kent, Ohio. Our main event will be a rematch for the Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship, as the champion CHRISTOPHER DANIELS will square off against the former champion, BRADSHAW. For Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA - Heartland Card #14 Memorial Athletic Center, Kent, Ohio December 4, 2006 Lance Russell: Good evening, NWA Heartland Fans, and welcome to the campus of Kent State University. It''s a chilly night here in Northeast Ohio, so let the boys from the Heartland warm you up with some HOT wrestling action! CHRISTOPHER DANIELS is here tonight to defend his Midwest Heavyweight Championship against the former champion, BRADSHAW! But before we get to the main event, we have more excellent matches planned for you, starting with a battle between CARLITO and TAZZ!TAZZ defeated CARLITO (w/ MELINA) by disqualification-Tazz continues to wrestle injured, entering this match clearly less than 100%. Carlito dominated most of the action, but Tazz fought gamely. Carlito gained control with a falling leg drop off the top rope, and capitalized with a pair of back crackers, but amazingly the wounded Tazz was able to kick out twice! Despite the efforts of Melina, her man Carlito snapped and threw Tazz out of the ring! Referee Heather Owens tried to restrain Carlito in his rage, but the angry Carribean threw the lady referee to the floor. This drew Carlito's tag team partner BATISTA to the ring to talk him down and assist Melina in removing Carlito back to the locker room. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What an incendiary situation! I thought they would never get Carlito under control. Let's send Mark Madden backstage to check on the situation. Meanwhile, let's go back to the ring to see a matchup of two rising young superstars, as BRYAN DANIELSON takes on CHRIS SABIN.CHRIS SABIN (w/ KIMBERLY) pinned BRYAN DANIELSON-Sabin and Danielson lived up to expectations, with Sabin using crisp dropkicks to speed up the pace as Danielson tried a ground-based attack to neutralize his quicker foe. Both men were happy to carry the fight to the outside of the ring, but referee Danny Davis strangely turned aside when Sabin smashed Danielson head-first into a steel post. Sabin took advantage, weakening Danielson with a future shock and pinning him after a Leap of Faith. Kimberly celebrated with Sabin after the decision, and appeared to have a wink and a smile for Danny Davis on the way back to the locker room. Mark Madden: Lance, I am backstage here with Melina and Carlito, and we have been joined by Heartland Commissioner Alexandra York. Ms. York, what is your impression of the events which took place earlier this evening? Alexandra York: Mr. Madden, I am SHOCKED at the display of careless disregard showed by Carlito for the authority of the NWA Heartland officials. Carlito, effective immediately, you are hereby SUSPENDED from Heartland for ONE MONTH!Mark Madden: Holy mackeral! Lance, it is breaking down again back here! Carlito has gone berserk! I don't think even Batista will be able to get this situation under control. We need more security back here NOW! Lance Russell: Thank you, Mark, I am sure the National Guard will be arriving at any time to quiet the situation. Now, let's get back to the ring to see the matchup between NIGEL MCGUINESS and RICK RUDE.NIGEL MCGUINESS pinned RICK RUDE (w/ KIMBERLY)-Kimberly was not so lucky in this match, as referee Brady Boone turned a deaf ear to her advances. After the first distraction, Kimberly was removed from the ring area by Boone, leaving Rude to fend for himself. Rude and McGuiness reversed each other many times, with McGuiness dictating the pace of this deliberate scientific bout and eventually wearing down Rude to finish him with the Tower of London. ***INTERMISSION***Mark Madden: Welcome back, fans, and what a chaotic night it has been! I don't know what kind of shenanigans Kimberly is up to, but she was furious when Brady Boone sent her away from ringside during the Rick Rude match. That was surely a different attitude than she showed after the victory by Sabin. We'll keep a close eye on that situation. In the meantime, we have an exciting tag team match coming up, featuring the team of SHAWN MICHAELS and STING- the "SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT", taking on "HEART AND SOUL"- CM PUNK and SHELTON BENJAMIN. The winner of this match will be the #1 contender to the Steiner Brothers' Heartland Tag Team Titles! SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT defeated HEART AND SOUL -An exciting match, clean and scientific, as both sides traded moves. It was the veteran Michaels who turned the tide, sidestepping a charging Benjamin, then nailing him with a Sweet Chin Music for a clean victory! Punk and Benjamin were clearly frustrated, but exchanged handshakes with the winners after the decision. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 60-minute time limit, and is for the NWA-Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, accompanies to the ring by Melina, he is a former Midwest Heavyweight Champion. He weighs in at 309 pounds and hails from Sweetwater, Texas, BRADSHAW! And his opponent, hailing from the City of Angels, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is your reigning Midwest Heavyweight Champion, THE FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS!MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPCHRISTOPHER DANIELS pinned BRADSHAW (w/ MELINA) to defend the title!-Things went from bad to worse for Melina in this match, as her attempt to save Bradshaw lead to a collision and a rollup for the alert Daniels, who kept his title! Lance Russell: Good heavens! What a fine title defense for Christopher Daniels. He has eyes in the back of his head, so it would seem. And when you are facing the likes of Melina, you have to be on the top of your game at all times. Congratulations to the Fallen Angel on a hard-earned victory! Fans, thank you for joining us here in Kent this evening for a great night of action. Turned out to be a rough night for Melina, as she saw her man Bradshaw fail to reclaim the Midwest Heavyweight Championship, and she lost Carlito to a lengthy suspension as a result of his actions. This girl needs to pull her act together, and quickly! Be sure to join us for our next Heartland wrestling event, scheduled for Saturday night, December 9, from the Convocation Center in Athens, Ohio. Our main event will be a showdown between two heated rivals, whose animosity recently came to a head once again, as the HITMAN, BRET HART takes on the HEARTBREAK KID, SHAWN MICHAELS! For Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God Bless and we'll see you at the matches!
