NWA Heartland Card #51 Broadbent Arena, Louisville, Kentucky May 18, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to another edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Broadbent Arena in Louisville, Kentucky. We have a very special night of action planned for you this evening, including the debut matches of new more newly acquired talents, TAKESHI MORISHIMA and BRUTUS BEEFCAKE! Our main event tonight promises to be a spectacular showdown for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. THE ELIMINATORS are on hand tonight to defend their belts against the Heartland's finest tag team, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS. This should be a classic matchup of two very intense and competitive units. Let's go to the ring and get the action started! NIKITA KOLOFF pinned TAKESHI MORISHIMA(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Koloff started with a flurry, putting Morishima on the defensive. Takeshi was able to turn the tables and mount a brief rally before Nikita exploded with a Russian Sickle and pinned the Japanese giant before he knew what hit him. Lance Russell: Wow! This Morishima is a very big and very athletic competitor, but Koloff took the measure of him tonight. Nikita remains a force to be reckoned with in the Heartland and he now appears to be back at full strength. CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned BRUTUS BEEFCAKE(Referee: Danny Davis) Another newcomer went down to defeat in his debut as Claudio laid a beatdown on Brutus and pinned him with a Ricola Bomb. Lance Russell: Two most unique individuals, to say the least. It looks like the old guard has really stepped up their competitiveness against these newcomers. Mark Madden has shown a great willingness to send a guy packing if he doesn't perform in the ring. And speaking of guys who are about to be sent packing, at our last show we saw TAZZ get called onto the carpet by Mr. Madden. A video package is displayed with Tazz and Madden in a heated debate, and the introduction of TYSON TOMKO as Madden's personal bodyguard and Heartland Special Enforcer.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Fans, A brawl has broken out in the back stage area. Tazz has jumped on Tomko and these two are going after each other with a vengeance! Let's get a camera back there to see if we can get an update on this situation! Backstage, we see Tazz and Tomko exchanging punches and battling around the entryway. Soon, they emerge from behind the curtain into the main arena, locked together in furious combat. Referee HEATHER OWENS is following the action, trailed closely by MARK MADDEN who is shouting encouragement to Tomko.TAZZ defeated TOMKO by submissionDespite the intensity of the brawl, Tazz took to a ground-based attack, controlling Tomko with suplexes in the ring and on the floor before choking him out with the Tazmission. Mark Madden enters the ring, screaming at Tomko for his failure to bring down Tazz. Tazz makes a move on Madden, who scurries out of the ring and pulls Tomko with him to safety. Tazz and Tomko continue to exchange trash talk as Madden pulls Tomko up the aisle and back to the dressing room.Lance Russell: Well! It looks like Tazz will live to fight another day. What an intense brawl we have just seen! I don't know about you, fans, but I am certainly ready for a breather. Let's go to a brief intermission. Be sure to stop by the Heartland Souvenir Stand while you are away. We have a number of special items of memorabilia available, including a wide selection of game-used pink Louisville Slugger baseball bats in honor of Mother's Day. Surprise Mom with an unexpected treat! ***INTERMISSION***THE IRISH AIRBORNE defeated MVP & KENNEDY(Referee: Brady Boone) Jake Crist fought this match like a house afire! Jake took over on Kennedy, drilling him with a Senton Splash off the top turnbuckle! Dave joined in the fun as the brothers executed the Irish Air Raid and pinned the stunned Kennedy! As the Airborne celebrated, Kennedy ran furiously and angrily about the ring. MVP stood outside and laughed at his partner after the defeat, only serving to infuriate Kennedy further. Lance Russell: Interesting. Individually, you would have to believe that MVP and Kennedy would have the advantage, but in this match it was all about teamwork. If those two expect to be successful as a tag team, they will need to get on the same page. A good win for the Airborne as they continue to strive to bring their game to the next level. Our next match is an important contest with championship contender implications as the Heartland competitors jockey for position in the race to challenge SAMOA JOE.SENSHI pinned BRYAN DANIELSON(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Senshi and Danielson battled ferociously for nearly twenty minutes. The advantage went back and forth, and Danielson nearly captured a win after nailing a deathjump. But Senshi battled back using everything in his arsenal. After mounting several comebacks, Danielson wore down and Senshi drilled him with the Ki Krusher and pinned him cleanly. Lance Russell: Tremendous! The stakes are building and the competitiveness has never been better in the Heartland. Both Senshi and Danielson performed superbly in that match and the fans have responded with an ovation for both men. MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, the challengers, hailing from Laurel, Delaware, at a total combined weight of 385 pounds. They are accompanied to the ring by WOMAN. They are your NWA Heartland Tag Team Champions, MARK AND JAY, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS! And their opponents, coming down the aisle, at a total combined weight of 513 pounds, they are your NWA World Tag Team Champions, PERRY SATURN AND JOHN KRONUS, THE ELIMINATORS! THE BRISCOE BROTHERS defeated THE ELIMINATORS by disqualification(Referee: Danny Davis) Tag team execution was the order of the day in this match. The Eliminators isolated Mark in the ring after Kronus delivered a stunning handspring back elbow. Mark was in big trouble at this point, but managed to kick out after the Total Elimination. He finally made a desperation tag to Jay, who took over on both Eliminators with a flurry. Sensing the momentum shifting, Saturn hurled Jay over the top rope. In accordance with NWA regulations, Referee Danny Davis called for the bell and awarded the match to the Briscoes by disqualification. The Louisville crowd booed lustily as the Eliminators took their belts and left the arena. Lance Russell: What a farce! The Briscoe Boys were toe-to-toe with these characters and had a legitimate shot at the World Titles until Saturn bailed out and escaped on a technicality. But, it is true what they say, if you want to be the champs, you have to beat the champs straight up. I think the Briscoes learned from this match and I truly believe that will be a threat to the Eliminators again before the day is over. Fans, we thank you for joining us for tonight's episode of Fury. We hope to see you again Monday night for our next edition of Adrenaline! Our main event will be a rematch from Slamiversary for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship as HOMICIDE defends the title against MR. KENNEDY. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #52 Rupp Arena, Lexington, Kentucky May 21, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight’s episode of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, with a great night of action. Our feature contest will be a rematch from Slamiversary with the Midwest Heavyweight Championship on the line as HOMICIDE defends his title against MR. KENNEDY. This promises to be a dynamic main event matchup between two very driven competitors. Let’s get to the ring and get the action started! JIMMY JACOBS pinned COLT CABANA(Referee: Heather Owens) Jacobs started off strong in his Heartland career, launching himself into his longtime rival Cabana with a passion. Colt was no match for Jacobs, and succumbed quickly after Jacobs nailed him twice with the Contra Code. KONNAN and STING battled to a double count-out(Referee: Danny Davis) Sting came out aggressively against Konnan, taking control early and putting Konnan on the defensive. Sting went for a leaping DDT, drilling Konnan, but knocking Danny Davis out of the ring and down to the floor. Konnan wasted no time, calling for HOMICIDE to come down to ringside, but he was quickly cut off by NIKITA KOLOFF. As Koloff and Homicide brawled, Sting took advantage, wrapping Konnan into the Scorpion Deathlock on the concrete floor! Senior Official Joe Kopasz quickly charged to ringside and threw the match out. After the match, Konnan remained down on the concrete floor. He required the assistance of Homicide and Heartland trainers to get back to the locker room. He appeared to be holding his left arm close to the body and wincing with each movement of the shoulder.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! The Soldiers of the Covenant have finally stood up to the bullies! Let’s just hope they know what they’re getting themselves in to. LAX has already put THE STEINER BROTHERS out of the Heartland. Let’s hope that Sting and Nikita don’t meet the same fate. OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN defeated THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Brady Boone) With Hero still hobbling, the Kings were unprepared for the high-flying tactics of the newcomers. Owen took over on Claudio, smashing him with a series of aerial maneuvers before executing a textbook Northern Lights Suplex to pin him cleanly. Lance Russell: Wow! Hart and Pillman are a very athletic combination. Val and her men were clearly caught off-guard by the abilities of this new team. A fine performance indeed! Okay, fans, let’s go on to a break at this time. When we return, we’ll hear from Heartland Commissioner MARK MADDEN. As always, the Heartland Souvenir Stand is open for business. We have a special guest tonight signing autographs for you. Please stop by and say hello to MARISA PARE, perhaps better known to you all as AMERICAN GLADIATOR LACE!***INTERMISSION***The break ends as MARK MADDEN enters the ring with a microphone in one hand and a briefcase in the other.Mark Madden: Hello, fans, and thank you for coming out tonight to support Heartland Wrestling. As you well know, no one is a bigger supporter of Heartland Wrestling than me, Mark Madden, your humble Commissioner. And as you also know, no one is a bigger embarrassment to Heartland Wrestling than TAZZ. For the benefit of all you loyal fans, I tried to get rid of Tazz to improve our product. Unfortunately, TYSON TOMKO couldn’t get the job done. So now, I am offering this opportunity to anybody in the Heartland. In this briefcase, I have $5,000 from my personal bank account. I will give this money to any Heartland competitor who can take out Tazz. Who’s up for the challenge? After a moment, the tune “I’m Comin’” by Silkk tha Shocker plays overhead and MVP appears at the top of the ramp. MVP: Sign me up! Lance Russell: Wow! Mark Madden has laid down the challenge and MVP wants to take the ball and run with it! These two have had it out once already, and it looks like there are more to come! CHRIS SABIN defeated BJ WHITMER (w/ ALLISON DANGER) by disqualification(Referee: Heather Owens) The two cruiserweight competitors went to war in an intense battle. Whitmer gained the advantage early with his strength advantage, hitting Sabin with a Northern Lights Suplex and a frog splash, but Sabin kicked out. Sabin managed to turn the tables, coming off the ropes and catching Whitmer with a stunning piledriver and following with a Future Shock. Allison came into the ring and jumped on Sabin's back, but Sabin flipped her hard to the canvas, and quickly blasted Whitmer with an enzuigiri! Whitmer went to the outside, where the battle raged on. Heather Owens tried to regain control, but was unable to separate the combatants. When Whitmer threw Heather to the side to get after Sabin, Heather called for the bell and awarded the match to Sabin by disqualification. After the match, Whitmer and Allison had a heated exchange. Whitmer grabbed a microphone and berated Allison.BJ Whitmer: Allison, you are an idiot! I am fed up with kissing up to you and watching Daniels win titles. I needed you and you blew it! Allison, YOU ARE FIRED! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Whitmer has just fired his manager. I guess it’s back to the drawing board for BJ. But enough of the drama- let’s get to the main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Intro- KEN KENNEDY appears at the top of the ramp, microphone in hand. Kennedy: Introducing first, the next Midwest Heavyweight Champion! He is 245 pounds of chiseled granite perfection. He hails from Green Bay, Wisconsin. MISTERRRRRRR KENNEDYYYYYY! KEN – NED – DY !!!! Lillian Garcia: And his opponent is your Midwest Heavyweight Champion! Weighing in at 220 pounds, from Brooklyn, New York, this is HOMICIDE!KEN KENNEDY pinned HOMICIDE to capture the Midwest Championship!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) With Konnan remaining in the trainer's room, Homicide was forced to go it alone. Kennedy was quick to capitalize, jumping on the champion at the opening bell and overpowering him! Homcide struggled to stay in the match, but the momentum remained with Kennedy. Kennedy floored Homicide with a running clothesline, then soared with a beautiful Kenton Bomb to score the victory and win the title! Lance Russell: Ladies and gentlemen, history has been made in Lexington! Ken Kennedy has captured the Midwest Heavyweight Championship! Congratulations to the new champ. He took the fight to Homicide and came away with the gold! What an exciting conclusion to tonight’s episode of Adrenaline. We’ll be back on Friday night with another great episode of Fury. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, this is for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #53 Murphy Center, Murfreesboro, Tennessee May 25, 2007
Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Murfreesboro, Tennessee! We are here at the Murphy Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University with an exciting night of action. Our special main event matchup tonight will pit our own HOMICIDE against the NWA World Junior X-Division Champion DYNAMITE KID with the title on the line! Let's get to the ring and get tonight's action rolling. TAKESHI MORISHIMA pinned JIMMY JACOBS(Referee: Danny Davis) Jacobs held his own despite being outweighed by over 100 pounds in this match. Jimmy nailed a corkscrew pescado on Morishima outside of the ring, then nailed the Contra Code, but Morishima kicked out. Jacobs went for broke with a deathjump, but crashed and burned when Takeshi evaded him. Morishima took control, punishing Jimmy and finishing him with a spinning side slam. Lance Russell: What a tough loss for Jacobs. You gotta hand it to the little guy, he gave everything he had, but this Morishima is a monster of a man and will be a formidable foe in the Heartland. BRYAN DANIELSON defeated CHRISTIAN CAGE by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) Once again, the unpredictable Christian let his temper get the best of him. After Danielson dominated several exchanges of mat wrestling, Cage became frustrated and drilled the Dragon with a low blow. Christian then executed his patented Con-Chair-To in full view of referee Boone, who immediately called for the disqualification. Boone was quick to interpose himself between Christian and Danielson to prevent any further incident. Lance Russell: Unbelievable. This Christian is a big-time crybaby. The American Dragon is one of the best technicians in the NWA. What was Christian expecting? OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN defeated THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (STING & NIKITA KOLOFF)(Referee: Heather Owens) In a highly competitive and hard-fought match, Hart and Pillman edged the Soldiers. Hart and Pillman worked together flawlessly in the early going, isolating Sting and wearing him down. Sting finally managed to tag Nikita, who nailed Pillman with a Russian Sickle, but Owen was able to make the save. Hart and Pillman went back to work on Nikita, putting him on the defensive and forcing him to tag Sting back in to the match. Pillman dropped Sting with a sweet enzuigiri, then went to the air with a stunning Missile Dropkick to score the pinfall as Nikita was unable to make the save. Lance Russell: Wow! Owen and Pillman are looking very crisp as a unit. Beating Sting and Nikita is a major feather in the cap of these two newcomers. The tag team division is really heating up! Let’s go to a break now. Tonight would be a good night to visit the Heartland Concession Stand for a delicious slice of Chicago Deep Dish pizza. But you better get there quickly, because MICHAEL BARRETT and CARLOS ZAMBRANO are headed to the snack bar and things could get ugly in a hurry! ***INTERMISSION***As the intermission ends, MARK MADDEN enters the ring accompanied by his personal bodyguard TYSON TOMKO. MVP enters the ring and stands beside Madden. Tomko carries a briefcase. Mark Madden: Good evening, fans of the Heartland. It is great to be back here in Kentucky! The crowd boos loudly. Tomko whispers something to Madden. Madden: Oh, right. It is great to be back here in Tennessee! Tonight I am pleased to welcome a special guest to this edition of Mark My Words. This newcomer has stepped up to the plate to take the Commissioner’s Challenge. Monday night, June 4, my guest MVP will square off against TAZZ in a no holds barred match. MVP is planning to get rid of Tazz once and for all! Tell me, Montell, what made you decide to take this match? MVP: Well, you know Mr. Madden, MVP is a man who takes the bull by the horns. MVP has gotten the best of Tazz once, and now that there is five thousand bucks on the line, MVP will take him out for good! MVP would do it for free, but MVP likes the bling-bling so you know he will be first in line for another piece of that coward! Madden: And I am confident, my man, that you will be the man to get the job done. We’ll see you on Monday night for the final match in the Heartland career of Tazz…. MARK MY WORDS! SENSHI (w/ MELINA) defeated DELIRIOUS(Referee: Danny Davis) Despite the fears of Melina, Senshi took control of this match from the outset. He incapacitated Delirious with a series of stiff kicks, then went to the Ki Krusher early in the contest. A stunned Delirious was unable to kick out and was pinned in under two minutes! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Senshi dominated that match tonight as he continues to move up the ladder in the Heartland. A lot of guys are gunning for SAMOA JOE and the Heartland Title, and it will be interesting to see who the Championship Committee puts up for the next title match. Now, let’s go to the main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD JR. X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Junior X-Division Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 210 pounds, hailing from Brooklyn, New York, here is HOMICIDE! And his opponent is your NWA World Junior X-Division Champion. He weighs in a 225 pounds and comes to us by way of Lancashire, England, THE DYNAMITE KID!DYNAMITE KID defeated HOMICIDE by countout(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Dynamite Kid continued his dominance of the Junior X-Division with an impressive win over Homicide. Homicide got off to a quick start, but seemed determined to keep the match in the ring rather than risk disqualification. The Kid responded with a flurry and nailed Homicide with a snap suplex. The champion continued his rally, capping it off with a diving headbutt, but Homicide kicked out. At this point, Homicide left the ring for a breather, but the Kid flew from the top turnbuckle and nailed him with a powerful cross-body block. Homicide was stunned, and unable to meet the 10-count of Joe Kopasz, who awarded the match to Dynamite by countout. Lance Russell: What a match! This Dynamite Kid is the top cruiserweight in the NWA and it doesn’t look like he is giving up that belt any time soon. Homicide has taken out many an opponent, but Dynamite clearly got the best of him tonight. Fans, we thank you for joining us for tonight’s episode of Fury. The Heartland will be on hiatus until Monday, June 4, when we will return with a great night of action to feature the showdown between TAZZ and MVP. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Commissioner Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #54 McKenzie Arena, Chattanooga, Tennessee June 4, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight’s edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where we have a packed house here at McKenzie Arena! Everyone is here tonight for a special night of action, capped off by the renatch between TAZZ and MVP. MARK MADDEN still has $5,000 riding on the head of Tazz, and MVP has stepped up to take a shot. Let’s get the matches started! CURT HENNIG (w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated BJ WHITMER by disqualification(Referee: Heather Owens) Whitmer and Hennig opened the card with a tight battle. The match started rough and intense, but clean, as Heather kept control. The tone changed after Val nailed Whitmer with a low blow, unseen by Heather. Whitmer recovered and got back in to the match. Hennig took advantage, getting Whitmer into trouble with a rolling neck snap followed by the Axe. Whitmer went outside of the ring, and angrily grabbed Hennig and pulled him outside of the ring. As the fight intensified, Heather last control of the action and called for the bell. Whitmer was hit with the DQ for inciting the brawl, in a decision which was highly unpopular with the fans. MARK MADDEN appears on the Titantron, sitting in his well-adorned office with TYSON TOMKO at his side.Mark Madden: Heather Owens! Young lady, you need to get your head screwed on straight! You are the most inconsistent and incompetent official in this territory. Once again, you have stuck your big ugly nose into a fine match and managed to make the wrong call. As a result of your incompetence, you are FINED the sum of $5,000! Until you pay this fine you will be ineligible to referee any further matches in the Heartland. And if your ineptitude continues, you had better believe that you will be FIRED. MARK MY WORDS! Heather, clearly shaken, rushes from the ring.HOMICIDE pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER)(Referee: Brady Boone) In a battle of two former Midwest Champions, it was Homicide who came out hungry and took the fight to Daniels. Homicide took the match outside of the ring and laid the heavy lumber to Daniels, whipping him viciously into the steel steps. Daniels was grounded and Homicide took over, levelling the Angel with the West Brooklyn Lariat and scoring the pinfall. Lance Russell: Wow! Homicide is one intense competitor in that ring. Daniels has been in something of a slump recently after his long title reign with the Midwest belt. He needs something to get his act back together. CHRIS SABIN and BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ WOMAN) battled to a double-DQ(Referee: Danny Davis) Sabin held his own against Studd, surprising the big man with a "stick-and-move" strategy. Studd nailed several ring-shattering power moves, but Sabin kept coming and scored a pair of stunning enzuigiri kicks. Studd threw Sabin out of the ring and launched an assault. Studd lifted Sabin high in the air, preparing to slam him onto the Spanish Announcers' Table, when suddenly BATISTA sprinted to ringside and speared Studd! All three men crashed to the concrete floor in a heap. Sabin was first to his feet, and launched himself at Studd. Batista quickly joined the attack, and the two men beat down Studd as Woman shrieked! Finally, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS came to the rescue of their stablemate, but the damage had been done. Sabin left the ring area quickly, as Batista stared down the Briscoes before walking away. Davis threw out the match and declared a double DQ. Lance Russell: Well, I guess the bad blood between WOMAN and MELINA goes on. Batista just cost Studd a shot at the #1 contender position! That double-DQ eliminates both men from contention. So, the next challenger to SAMOA JOE will be none other than SENSHI! Melina has outdone herself this time, and I’ll be most interested to see what she and Senshi have in mind when we see that title match on our next Havoc pay-per-view. With that, we will head to intermission. Be sure and stop by the Heartland Souvenir Stand and pick up some very special memorabilia, highlighting the career of one a pioneer in the world of the NWA. This man attended UT-Chattanooga, where he starred in football and wrestling. He was the first black wrestler in UTC history, and went on to a distinguished professional wrestling career, including two stints as NWA Florida Southern Heavyweight Champion before his passing in 2005. So, be sure and pick up tonight’s special yearbook in honor of the memory of "PISTOL" PEZ WHATLEY!***INTERMISSION***THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE(Referee: Brady Boone) The Crist Brothers started quickly as Jake went to the air against Sweet Stan. Jake got Stan outside the ring and nailed a pair of pescados, to the amazement of the crowd. Lane was able to tag in Eaton, who slowed things down. Cornette managed to trip up Dave to put Eaton in control. At that point, a figure in a hooded sweatshirt came to ringside and swiped the tennis racket from Cornette! Cornette tried to pursue the unidentified burglar without success. But the tide of the match had been turned, and the Express quickly nailed Dave with the Rocket Launcher and scored the pinfall. Lance Russell: So, the Midnight Express has outfoxed the young Irish team, although the Crists put up a heck of a fight. There's a good reason why Heartland boasts five of the top ten tag teams in the NWA according to the June rankings! The Express will now go on to face OWEN HART AND BRIAN PILLMAN with a title shot on the line! But my question is, who’s the guy who swiped Cornette’s racket? You can bet that Mama Cornette will be none to happy when little Jimmy comes home without his racket! MAIN EVENT: BOUNTY MATCHMVP and TAZZ battled to a no contest(Referee: Joe Kopasz) MVP and Tazz got after each other inside the ring and out. Both men stood toe-to-toe and took as much as they gave. As the fight progressed, MVP scored several Ballin' Elbows and Tazz was visibly weakened. MVP went to the figure-4 leglock, but Tazz refused to submit. MVP finally gave up on the hold and went back to brawling, leaving Tazz with an opening to hurl him out of the ring. After MVP landed awkwardly, Tazz launched himself off the apron with a flying body smash and nailed Porter! Both men were laid out as Kopasz put on a 10-count. Before Kopasz could finish the count, MARK MADDEN reappeared on the Titantron. Madden: Stop the count! Stop the count! Kopasz, don’t even think about stopping the match. Tazz, you are not getting off the hook that easily. The next Havoc pay-per-view will feature a Steel Cage Match between Tazz and MVP! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! MVP and Tazz will hook up again at Havoc! What a way to cap off an exciting- and controversial- night of action we have seen this evening. We’ll be back again on Friday night with another episode of Fury. We have what promises to be a huge main event grudge match as we have the return of HERNANDEZ, who will team with HOMICIDE to take on NIKITA KOLOFF and STING! Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Heartland Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #55 County Events Center, Lebanon, Tennessee June 8, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight’s edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Lebanon, Tennessee! Tonight we have an exciting main event showdown as the hostilities continue between LAX and the SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT. They will be squaring off in tag team action tonight, as we will see the return of HERNANDEZ! Suddenly, Lance is interrupted as the tune “Fighter” by Christina Aguilera fills the arena. Heartland Commissioner MARK MADDEN strides to the ring, accompanied by TYSON TOMKO who carries the briefcase.Mark Madden: Well, hello Lance. So sorry for the interruption, but if you want to get something done right around here, you have to do it yourself. As you all know, Heartland Havoc is only one week away! And I am also sure that you know about the big steel cage match between MVP and TAZZ. MVP is geared up and ready to go, and he will take home this briefcase with $5,000 if he can take out the trash! But, in honor of the big event, and to give Tazz a taste of what lies ahead, I have decided to make tonight’s first match a Steel Cage Match! Brian Pillman! Brutus Beefcake! Let’s get it on! Lower the cage! As the steel cage descends, BRIAN PILLMAN and BRUTUS BEEFCAKE head to the ring, together. Both appear perplexed as they enter the cage. Madden and Tomko leave the ring area together. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Fans, that’s not just a steel cage- it’s lined with barbed wire! This is not what Pillman or Beefcake prepared for. “Commissioner” Madden has gotten drunk on his own power, it would seem. But Brady Boone is in the ring and it looks like the match will proceed! BARBED WIRE CAGE MATCHBRUTUS BEEFCAKE defeated BRIAN PILLMAN(Referee: Brady Boone) Pillman didn’t hesitate to launch into Brutus, jumping him at the onset of the match and taking him down with a pair of death jumps, then grinding his face into the barbed wire. But Brutus regained his bearings, reversing a whip into the cage and sending Pillman hard against the steel. Beefcake then went to work on Pillman, using the cage expertly to dissect his smaller opponent. After slamming Pillman face-first into the steel cage, Beefcake drilled him with a flying knee smash and left him laying in the ring as he left the cage. Pillman remained on the mat for several minutes after the match as his tag partner OWEN HART rushed into the ring, Paramedics were called, and Pillman was taken from the arena on a stretcher.Lance Russell: Well, looks like Brutus got the best of that situation. Let’s hope Pillman comes out of this okay. I am disgusted that Commissioner Madden decided to make Pillman and Brutus fight in the cage. They are lifting the cage now, and sure enough, TAZZ is up next. I am sure he was watching that match closely. TAZZ defeated STING by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) Tazz had all the adrenaline in this match as he dominated Sting! Tazz exploded off the ropes and crushed Sting with an awesome running clothesline! Before Sting could recover, Tazz locked in the Tazmission. Sting held out as long as he could before he was forced to tap out. After the match, Tazz glared at Mark Madden in his sky box and pointed to the cage above the ring.Lance Russell: Wow! I guess Tazz is ready for MVP, and for whatever else Madden has up his sleeve. That confrontation at Havoc will be spectacular indeed! CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated OWEN HART by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) Still enraged at the fate of his tag team partner, Owen came at Claudio with a fury. Hart controlled much of the early action, setting up Claudio and executing a vicious tombstone piledriver. But before Hart could follow up, Val nailed him with a cheap shot low blow! Claudio recovered and took charge after delivering a Cough Drop. After Owen kicked out of the Ricola Bomb, Claudio locked in the Swi$$ Sleeperholding and it was lights out for Hart. Lance Russell: What a low-down, dirty wench! Boy, Pillman and Hart have had a rough go of it tonight. Let’s hope they can pull things together before Adrenaline on Monday night. They are slated to take on THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS in a #1 contenders’ match for the tag titles and they will need all the breaks to fall their way to beat Cornette and his boys. Now would be a good time for us to take a break. Be sure and stop off at the Heartland Souvenir Stand while we are away and pick up a commemorative refrigerator magnet featuring the most lopsided college football game in American history. In 1916, the hometown Cumberland University lost to Georgia Tech by a count of 222-0. Who could forget that? When we come back, we’ll have a special interview as our lovely and talented LILLIAN GARCIA sits down with controversial referee HEATHER OWENS for a face-to-face interview. ***INTERMISSION***Lillian Garcia: Welcome back, fans! I am here tonight for a special guest conversation with Heartland referee Heather Owens. Heather, it has been a rough week for you since you were fined by MARK MADDEN.Heather appears saddened, hair covering her face, as she mumbles into the microphone.Heather: Five thousand dollars? Where am I supposed to get five thousand dollars? Madden barely pays me that for a full year of work! I bust my tail out there every week, trying to control those animals, while Mr. Madden sits in his sky box and eats potato chips. Just once, I would like to see him do my job! Lillian: That may be true, Heather. You are a hard-working lady in that ring. But Mr. Madden holds all the cards now. Will you pay your fine and get back into action? Heather: I don’t know, Lillian… I just don’t know… five thousand dollars is such a lot of money… I may have to leave this business which I love and get a normal job. That would suck, but a girl needs to take care of herself this day in age. Lillian: Heather, I certainly admire your independence and I wish you all the best in the future. I do hope your future remains here with Heartland wrestling! Now, let’s get back to the ring for more action. COLT CABANA & BJ WHITMER defeated CARLITO & SENSHI (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) After getting the best of BIG JOHN STUDD, WOMAN had plotted her revenge. As the match began, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS came to ringside, glaring menacingly at Carlito and Senshi. Clearly distracted, Carlito lost his focus and Cabana drilled him with a powerbomb for the quick pinfall! Woman appears at the top of the ramp with a microphone as the Briscoes retreat to her side.Woman: Melina! You little shrew! You may have gotten one over on us with BATISTA- but DON’T YOU FORGET WHO YOU’RE MESSING WITH! I can get to you any time I want to- whenever, wherever. This ain’t over, girlfriend. When you least expect it, EXPECT IT! MAIN EVENT: GRUDGE MATCHLAX defeated THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (NIKITA KOLOFF & STING)(Referee: Brady Boone) In a heated battle, LAX got the best of the Soldiers. A highly competitive match turned when Nikita made a crucial error, taking the fight outside of the ring against Homicide. Homicide pounded Nikita mercilessly, then brought him back into the ring. The Exchange continued to isolate Nikita and work him over, and Sting was unable to come to the rescue when Hernandez nailed a Megabomb to finish the job. After the decision, LAX tried to set up Nikita for a vicious double-team, but Sting was able to clear the ring and spare his partner from any further damage. Lance Russell: Wow! Things continue to heat up between these teams, and putting Hernandez back into the mix certainly adds fuel to the fire. I’m sure these rivals will hook up again. Thanks for joining us for tonight’s edition of Fury. We’ll be back on Monday night with another episode of Adrenaline- our last televised event before the big pay-per-view. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #56 Memorial Center, Johnson City, Tennessee June 11, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans, and welcome to tonight’s episode of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Johnson City, Tennessee! This is our last TV show before Havoc, and we have action planned for you! Our main event will feature MR. KENNEDY defending the Midwest Heavyweight Championship against CARLITO. We’ll also have some special announcements from COMMISSIONER MARK MADDEN regarding Friday night’s pay-per-view card. Now, Let’s get to the ring! COLT CABANA pinned CHRIS HERO (w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Brady Boone) Hero dominated most of this match, but Cabana absorbed a lot of the punishment and kept coming. Hero remained in control until Colt nailed him with a big boot to the face as Hero charged the turnbuckle. Cabana capitalized immediately with the Colt .45 and pinned Hero cleanly, faster than Val could respond. Lance Russell: What an upset! Hero was favored in this match, but Colt is full of surprises. Any Heartland wrestler can beat anyone on the roster at any time. Our next contest will feature a man who has been at the center of controversy heading into Havoc. MVP is geared up for a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match against TAZZ. I certainly hope he isn’t looking past tonight’s opponent as he steps into the ring to face NIKITA KOLOFF.As Nikita waits in the ring, the tune “I’m Comin’” by Silkk tha Shocker plays. MVP walks to the ring, accompanied by TYSON TOMKO. MARK MADDEN joins Lance Russell at the broadcast table.Mark Madden: Hello, Lance, always a pleasure to be back with you at my old position. That is, before I moved up in the world! I don’t have much to say tonight. Tyson and I are just here to protect our investment. Watch what this guy can do, Lance – and imagine what will happen to Tazz on Friday night! MVP pinned NIKITA KOLOFF(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In his last match before the showdown at Havoc, MVP looked crisp against the more powerful Koloff. Porter used his quickness to put Nikita on the defensive, then wore him down with a pair of torturous figure-4 leglocks. As Nikita staggered to his feet, MVP was right there with the Playmaker to score a victory. Mark Madden: Yes! My man MVP has got all the tools to take out the trash… MARK MY WORDS! Madden and Tomko leave the arena together as MVP celebrates in the ring. MVP nods in Madden’s direction but does not leave the ring with the Commissioner.THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated LAX(Referee: Danny Davis) Worn down from their brutal encounter with the Soldiers of the Covenant, LAX looked a step slow against the well-coordinated Kings. Hernandez took the brunt of the damage, as the Kings nailed him with a series of double-team moves and finished him with the Hero's Welcome Kings of Wrestling Edition. Lance Russell: The ebb and flow of Heartland Wrestling goes on… the LAX have been one of the hottest teams in the territory, but they were second best tonight as the Kings strive to climb back into title contention. That will bring us to intermission, folks. Be sure and stop by the Heartland Souvenir Stand and meet tonight’s special guest. He is a member of the Heartland Championship Committee and a well-known action star, say hello to CHUCK NORRIS!***INTERMISSION***MARK MADDEN appears at the top of the ring ramp, accompanied by JIM CORNETTE. Mark Madden: Hello, fans, it is my privilege to welcome Mr. Jim Cornette. I am here to congratulate you for earning a title shot at THE BRISCOE BROTHERS. As a result of BRIAN PILLMAN being unable to compete tonight, it looks like THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS will advance to the title match at Havoc! Jim Cornette: Thank you, Mark. Or shall I call you Mr. Madden? My boys are looking forward to matching up against the Briscoes. But there’s one thing that’s got my goat. I need to know who the spineless coward is who stole my tennis racket! When I get my hands on that punk, I’m gonna slap him around and teach him a lesson! As Cornette scowls and shows his bravado, slowly he is approached from behind by CHUCK NORRIS. Norris gives Cornette a friendly, but unexpected, pat on the back. Cornette jumps into the air, startled and frightened as he turns and sees Norris. Chuck Norris: Oh, I’m sorry Mr. Cornette, I didn’t mean to startle you. But I am afraid the Mr. Madden failed to consult with the Championship Committee before making his big announcement. But there has not been a #1 contenders match, so the Express have not earned a title shot. Although Brian Pillman is unable to compete tonight, OWEN HART is here. The Committee has decided to allow Owen to choose a partner tonight to face the Midnights. The winners will receive he title match at Havoc! Madden groans and Cornette buries his head in his hands. Owen Hart strides happily to the ramp. Owen Hart: Thank you, Chuck Norris! WOOOO! Cornette, I am ready for you and your Midnight Express. Allow me to present my new tag team partner- come on out! As Owen waves his arm, the mysterious figure in the hooded sweatshirt emerges from the crowd. He holds Cornette’s tennis racket over head, waving it around playfully as the audience roars. The man joins Owen on the podium, finally pulling back his hood to reveal…CHRIS JERICHO!!!Cornette lunges after Jericho, who pulls the racket away and bolts to the dressing room with Hart following. Cornette abandons the chase and returns to the Midnights’ locker room. Chuck Norris waves ti the fans and returns to his skybox. Madden stands dumbfounded, shaking his head. Madden: Freakin’ Chuck Norris! THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) defeated OWEN HART & CHRIS JERICHO(Referee: Brady Boone) Hart and Jericho carried all the momentum and all the support of the fans into the number one conternders' match, but they were outfoxed by Cornette's men from the start. Timely interference by Cornette from the outside, and brilliantly executed double-teams by the Express got Owen into desperate straits, and he was defenseless when Eaton flew from the top rope with a Veg-O-Matic for the decisive victory. Lance Russell: Well, I guess that settles that. Jericho certainly made his presence known, but in the end, you can’t just waltz in here and expect to beat the Midnight Express that easily. So, it will be the Midnights vs. the Briscoes for the tag belts Friday night at Havoc. That should be a great matchup! Now, let’s go on to the main event! MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 210 pounds, accompanied to the ring by MELINA, this is CARLITO! And his opponent is your Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Weighing in at 245 pounds, and hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, MISTER KENNEDY!CARLITO pinned MR. KENNEDY to capture the Midwest Title!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The match started with fireworks when Kennedy attacked Carlito before the opening bell! Kennedy laid a beating on Carlito, but the Carribean superstar survived the onslaught and rallied back into the match. Carlito launched himself from the turnbuckle and nailed Kennedy with a flying clothesline! He followed with two back crackers and covered Kennedy for the victory! Lance Russell: Wow! History made in Johnson City! Carlito is your new Midwest Heavyweight Champion! What an exciting conclusion to a terrific night of action leading into Havoc. We hope you’ll join is on Friday night for the big pay-per-view. The Heartland Heavyweight Championship will be on the line when SAMOA JOE squares off against SENSHI. The BRISCOE BROTHERS and the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS will square off for the tag titles, and of course we’ll see the big cage match between MVP and TAZZ. And I have just been informed that the Midwest Heavyweight Championship match will now be a triple threat match as the new champion CARLITO will take on both former champions MR. KENNEDY and HOMICIDE! Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

Havoc in the Heartland VIII Ervin J. Nutter Center, Dayton, Ohio June 15, 2007 Mark Madden: Good evening, fans, and welcome to tonight’s Heartland Wrestling pay-per-view! Tonight we have a tremendous card on tap for you, with all three titles on the line! We thank you for joining us live from Heartland Headquarters in Dayton, Ohio, at the Ervin J. Nutter Center. Our first contest tonight will be- Madden is interrupted as the tune “Break the Walls Down” by Sevendust plays. CHRIS JERICHO strides to the podium as Madden scowls.Chris Jericho: Thank you! Thank you very much! I know that my in-ring debut on Adrenaline was less than stellar… but I promise, you have not seen the best that Chris Jericho has to offer… MARK MY WORDS! Madden scowls.Jericho: Now wait just one minute there, Walrus-Boy. I am here tonight with some business to conduct. With apologies to a certain Mr. James E. Cornette, I was forced to acquire some collateral to consummate a transaction. Much to my surprise, Sparky’s tennis racket fetched quite a price on eBay… to the tune of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS! I am here tonight, Mr. Madden, to surrender this cash to you, and pay the fine of REFEREE HEATHER OWENS!The fans cheer wildly. Madden covers his head in his hands and shakes his head sadly. HEATHER OWENS emerges from the crowd and joins Jericho at the podium.Jericho: Now Heather… you don’t need to thank me, babycakes! Just go do your job, and you will never…. EVVVVVEERRR… need to worry about Walrus-Boy… AGAIN! Jericho turns his back to the crowd and stretches out his arms as the fans cheer. Heather follows him back to the locker room area.Madden: Whatever… Heather, I hope you brought your gear, because you are going to ref tonight’s first match. But, consider yourself warned… if you screw this up, there will be no more fines, or suspensions… you will be FIRED! #1 CONTENDERS’ MATCHCLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (w/ SO CAL VAL) and CHRIS SABIN battled to a double DQ(Referee: Heather Owens) Sabin looked sharp at the onset of the match, but Claudio hung tough and a tight battle developed. Sabin finally gained the advantage, going to the air and smashing Claudio with a missile dropkick. Sensing her man in trouble, Val interfered and caught Sabin with a low blow. Heather did not see the interference and the match continued. Enraged, Sabin threw Claudio out of the ring and a fierce brawl erupted. Heather tried unsuccessfully to regain control, and called for the bell, disqualifying both men. Claudio and Sabin continue trying to get after each other as Heather struggles to keep them apart. Mark Madden reappears at the podium, shouting.Madden: Enough! ENOUGH! The last thing this federation needs is unnecessary violence! Sabin, Claudio, get your butts back to the locker room NOW. Heather Owens, YOU ARE FIRED! The crowd boos as Heather skulks away. Lance Russell: How pathetic. I am disgusted! Fans, I do apologize for the conduct of my former broadcast colleague. Once again it seems that power has gone to his head. But, in the case of Heather, we can only hope she lands on her feet and makes it back into the business. Now, let’s get back to the action! MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: TRIPLE THREAT MATCHHOMICIDE defeated CARLITO and MR. KENNEDY to regain the title!(Referee: Danny Davis) An action-packed match saw Homicide surprise his opponents to recapture the gold. The match started with Carlito on the receiving end of a double team. Kennedy came out on top and took advantage, wearing down both his foes. Homicide turned up the aggression, pitching Kennedy out of the ring where a fierce brawl erupted. Homicide took over, slamming Kennedy into the steps and rolling him back into the ring. Carlito tried to sneak a cover, but Homicide made the save and hurled Carlito to the floor. Homicide went for broke, but missed with a suicide tope and crashed and burned on the concrete. Carlito and Kennedy took up the fight inside the ring, where Carlito nailed Kennedy with a stunning DDT. He appeared to be on the verge of retaining his belt when Homicide finally made it back to the ring. Homicide whipped Carlito to the turnbuckle, then nailed him with an awesome running clothesline. Carlito collapsed to the mat, where Homicide made the cover and captured the three-count before Kennedy could recover. Lance Russell: Wow! What a powerful clothesline by Homicide! I daresay, that clothesline was RIDONCULOUS! Fans, we have a new Midwest Heavyweight Champion as Homicide has recaptured his title! BARBED WIRE STEEL CAGE MATCHMVP defeated TAZZ(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Tazz started quickly, putting MVP on the defensive with a flurry of ground attacks and wrestling moves. MVP survived the early onslaught, and came back after slipping out of an attempted press slam. MVP went to work, naililng Tazz repeatedly with the Ballin’ Elbow then surprising him with a perfectly executed figure-4. With Tazz weakened, MVP smelled blood and hurled Tazz into the side of the cage. MVP viciously ripped Tazz about the face and head, then left him laying as the crowd gasped. After the decision, MVP returned to the cage with a baseball bat and slammed it repeatedly into the ribs and back of Tazz. TYSON TOMKO stood outside the cage and kept the Heartland security away from the action while MVP pounded away at Tazz. Finally, MVP finished his work, dropped the bat, collected his briefcase and left the ring area without a word.Lance Russell: Fans, I am stunned! Who knew MVP had such a sadistic side? Fans, that is one dangerous hombre in that ring. It’s gonna take us a while to get things back under control here. We need to go to a break here. I think I will skip the Heartland Concession Stand tonight… I have lost my appetite. ***INTERMISSION***HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPTHE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) defeated THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) to win the belts!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The rise of the Midnights is complete! Eaton and Lane outmaneuvered the Briscoes and came away with the gold. Eaton was in trouble early in the match, but was able to kick out after Mark hit the Cut-Throat Driver. Eaton tagged in Lane, who put both the Briscoes on the defensive with his kicks. Jay turned the tide briefly after Woman distracted Joe Kopasz, but the veteran Midnights would not be denied. Stan surprised Jay with a stunning enzuigiri, and the Midnights quickly executed a powerful rocket launcher and Jay was pinned! Lance Russell: Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is outstanding tag team action. I think we have just seen the beginning of a rivalry which may go on for quite some time. You better believe that WOMAN will have her team ready for a rematch, and you can certainly expect Cornette and his men to be on point at all times. And now, ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the main man in the Heartland, SAMOA JOE, to defend his Heavyweight Title! HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Brady Boone. Introducing first, the challenger, from Brooklyn, New York, weighs in at 180 pounds. He is accompanied to the ring by MELINA. Here is SENSHI! And his opponent is your NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion! He hails from Orange County, California, and weighs in at 280 pounds. This is SAMOA JOE!SAMOA JOE defeated SENSHI (w/ WOMAN) by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) Samoa Joe came out like a man on a mission tonight. Joe took everything in Senshi’s arsenal and kept coming. Brady Boone was a major factor, preventing Joe from hitting the Ole kick on Senshi on the outside, but Joe continued unfazed. When Melina attempted to distract Boone, he sent her away from the ring! Joe took control at that point, neutralizing Senshi with a corner knee smash before finishing the match with the Coquina Clutch. Lance Russell: Samoa Joe keeps his title in convincing fashion! Three championship matches, and two title changes here at Havoc. Congratulations are in order to THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS and to HOMICIDE for their exciting victories! And, begrudgingly, I must congratulate Commissioner Mark Madden for putting together a very compelling pay-per-view. We thank you for joining us for this evening’s action. We’ll be back on Monday night with another edition of Adrenaline. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Commissioner Mr. Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #57 Convocation Center, Athens, Ohio June 18, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans, and welcome to another exciting edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Convocation Center on the campus of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio! We have just completed a very successful pay-per-view, and now it is back to business for the boys of the Heartland. Tonight we will be bringing you two qualifying matches for the next Heavyweight Title matchup as SAMOA JOE continues his stranglehold on the belt. Let’s get to the ring for tonight’s action! CHRISTIAN CAGE defeated HERNANDEZ by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Two of the more volatile personalities in the Heartland squared off in the opening bout. It didn’t take long for the action to spill outside the ring, and Joe Kopasz was right on top of it. Christian smartly backpedaled as Hernandez came after him with a steel chair, forcing Kopasz to call for the bell and award the match to Christian via a disqualification. After the match, Christian grabbed a microphone and confronted Hernandez.Christian: Yo! Big man! What’s the problem? Beating the “Instant Classic” with a steel chair isn’t gonna get you anywhere in this federation! Hernandez: Whatsamatter with you boy? You now how we play- anyone who messes with the LAX gets a beat-down! Christian: LAX? What LAX? Your homey KONNAN is in a coma, and HOMICIDE is busy parading around his Midwest title! I don’t LAX giving you any love, dude! Look around- in the glory days of LAX, your boys would have been out here and beaten me to a bloody pulp. Now they just wanna use you to do their dirty work. Hernandez: Hey now, don’t you be disrespectin’ my homeys, punk! Christian: Whoa, whoa, whoa…. My man… no disrespect here… all I am saying is, you deserve better than to be a lackey for LAX. Why don’t you come and roll with me for a while… we’ll take out the Midnight Express and bring you back some gold, bro! What do you say… you and me? Hernandez ponders.Hernandez: I’ll tell you what, my man… you’re startin’ to make some sense… why don’t you and me pull it together for a minute and see what shakes? Christian shakes the hand of Hernandez and continues to chat him up as the two leave together.SENSHI (w/ MELINA) pinned STING(Referee: Danny Davis) A very athletic and competitive contest between two accomplished competitors. Sting and Senshi went back and forth, as Senshi kept Sting off-balance with his elusiveness and martial arts techniques. Midway through the match, the action was interrupted when HERNANDEZ and CHRISTIAN stormed the ring! Targeting Hernandez’ rival STING, the new friends went after him, but surprisingly, Senshi came to his defense! Sting and Senshi managed to fend off the attackers and the match continued. No sooner did the match resume, when in all the confusion, Melina sneaked in behind Sting and nailed him with a low blow! Sting was stunned, and Senshi took advantage. Senshi nailed Sting with the Ki Krusher and pinned him cleanly! Lance Russell: Goodness gracious! So much for the spirit of fair play. I don’t know what is worse, a beating from Christian or the Melina treatment. Sting comes out on the short end of the stick either way. He has a grudge match against Homicide coming up, but with Christian as a part of the equation, all bets are off and Sting had better be watching his back. THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ WOMAN) and CARLITO & BATISTA (w/ MELINA) battled to a double countout.(Referee: BRADY BOONE) The hostilities between Woman and Melina continue to burn! The battle between these teams was intense both in and out of the ring. Jay Briscoe actually got the best of Batista outside the ring, allowing the Brothers to isolate him and wear him down badly. Finally, Carlito tagged in, but walked right in to a double-team guillotine knee drop. Melina, sensing danger, hit Mark with a low blow and the brawl was on! Brady Boone did his best to get the action under control, but was finally forced to call for the bell. Lance Russell: Wow! This feud between Woman and Melina just seems to keep building and building! These two factions will not let it die. Commissioner Madden is gonna have to find a way to get this thing settled once and for all. Now would be a good time for a break. Be sure to check out the Heartland Souvenir Stand while you are away. We’re running a special 2-for-1 sale on all HEATHER OWENS merchandise tonight, so stop by and grab your “Leave the diva at the door- this is wrestling!” t-shirts. Believe me, these babies will be a collector’s item, no doubt about it. ***INTERMISSION***Mark Madden: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! Tonight I have the privilege of interviewing a very special guest. Please give a warm Heartland welcome to the manager of champions, the man who guided his MIDNIGHT EXPRESS to the Heartland Tag Team Championship, MR. JIM CORNETTE!Cornette: Thank you, Mr. Commissioner. I knew my boys would bring home the gold from the instant we signed the contract to compete here. But I’m not here to talk about that. Mr. Commissioner, something needs to be done about this CHRIS JERICHO character. The man stole my tennis racket! Mr. Madden, I have been very impressed at the way you dealt with TAZZ and the way you dealt with HEATHER OWENS. I am here tonight with a check for $5,000, signed by Mama Cornette, and with your blessing, I want Jericho to be put out of business! Madden: Jim, you are right about Jericho. He needs to be stopped. So I will do you one better. I will match your $5,000- we’ll make it a cool TEN GRAND for whoever can put away Jericho! The tune “I’m Comin’” by Silkk tha Shocker plays overhead, and once again MVP enters the arena and stands at the top of the ramp, swinging a baseball bat.Madden: MVP! My main man! I knew I could count on you to step up and take the challenge. Ladies and gentlemen, announcing tonight’s MAIN EVENT- a no-disqualification match between MVP and CHRIS JERICHO!Lance Russell: What a revolting development. Now MVP is coming after Jericho. I am disgusted. Now, let’s get to our qualifying matches. MR. KENNEDY defeated BRUTUS BEEFCAKE(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Domination! Kennedy ducked a right hand from Brutus and floored him with a clothesline. A leg drop over the ropes and Kennedy had Beefcake set up for the Lambeau Leap which decided things quickly. Lance Russell: Wow! What a performance by Mr. Kennedy. This guy will be a force to contend with. Not only does he move on in the qualifying round for a shot at SAMOA JOE, he is also in line for a shot to regain the Midwest Championship- if he can get past CARLITO next week. Now we will see Carlito in action in his own qualifying match against a very capable foe, COLT CABANA.CARLITO (w/ MELINA) defeated COLT CABANA by countout(Referee: Danny Davis) In a marathon match, Cabana and Carlito went toe-to-toe, absorbing as much as they dished out. Cabana finally nailed the Colt .45, but Carlito managed to kick out. Carlito pitched Cabana out of the ring, where Melina raked him across the eyes! Carlito followed with a flying bodypress off the apron, smashing Cabana on the concrete floor. Colt was unable to respond to the 10-count as Carlito celebrated. After the decision, Colt confronted Melina, only to be blindsided by Carlito. The two commenced brawling again as Danny Davis tried to intervene. In his excitement, Carlito shoved Davis to the floor. Cabana got the best of the brawl, prompting Melina to pull Carlito away and haul him back to the dressing room.Mark Madden comes to the podium after the brawl.Madden: Carlito, you are well aware what the rules of the NWA say about referee abuse. I have no choice but to SUSPEND you for one week! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Carlito has been suspended by Mr. Madden. That means he won’t be able to wrestle MR. KENNEDY for the Midwest Title contenders’ match! MAIN EVENT: $10,000 BOUNTY MATCHMVP defeated CHRIS JERICHO(Referee: Brady Boone) In a no-disqualification slugfest which would have made Bruiser Brody proud, MVP outlasted Jericho and gained a victory. Both men brawled inside of the ring and out, using anything and everything they could get their hands on. In the end, it was the Ballin’ Elbow which MVP used to great effect, wearing down Jericho. After the spectacular confrontation, it was a simple spinning back kick by MVP which floored Jericho for the three count. After the match, MVP went for his ball bat to finish Jericho, but Jericho greeted him with a flying dropkick and the bat went flying! Jericho hurled MVP out of the ring and retrieved the bat. MVP beat a hasty retreat as Jericho pointed the bat at him menacingly.Lance Russell: Good heavens! Jericho has certainly come out fighting in his effort against Madden and Cornette. The man’s hide is on the line and I can’t blame him for taking the offensive. More power to you, my man! That wraps it up for tonight’s episode of Adrenaline. Fans, we thank you for joining us! We’ll be taking the night off on Friday, as our good friends from Ring of Honor will be in town. We’ll be back this weekend with an extra special episode of Fury. Don’t you dare miss it! Until then, for Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we’ll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #58 Beeghley Center, Youngstown, Ohio June 23, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to a special weekend edition of Fury! We have an outstanding night of action tonight, featuring a match for the NWA Junior X-Division Title as the champion MISTICO defends against our own HOMICIDE. Let's get to the ring for tonight's opening bout! JIMMY JACOBS pinned OWEN HART(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Owen looked good at the start of the match, but Jimmy fled the ring for a breather. Owen went for a suicide tope, but Jacobs ducked away and Owen crashed to the floor. Jacobs was quick to capitalize, rolling Owen back into the ring and executing the Contra Code to earn the pinfall victory. Lance Russell: Wow! I would certainly label that as something of an upset. It's been a rough ride for Owen here since he signed on with the Heartland. Let's hope things begin to look up. CHRIS HERO (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned BATISTA (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Danny Davis) Hero stood toe to toe with Batista and took his best shots. Even the interference of Melina was not enough to slow down Hero, and when Val saw her opportunity, she took her shot, grabbing Batista by the ankle, giving Hero enough of an opening to put Batista on the mat. Hero came off the second rope with a diving double foot stomp and pinned the big man! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Another upset! This evening has already proven to be full of surprises. And with all the feuding between Melina and Woman, you have to wonder if Melina was overlooking the presence of Val at ringside. Next, we will see the debut of the Heartland's newest tag team, the "DREAM TEAM" of BRUTUS BEEFCAKE & GREG VALENTINE.BRUTUS BEEFCAKE & GREG VALENTINE defeated BJ WHITMER & COLT CABANA by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) The debut of the "Dream Team" was a rocky one, but successful in the end. After a lengthy struggle, Valentine trapped Whitmer in a figure-4 leglock. Cabana came to the rescue, hitting Valentine with a boot to the head, forcing Boone to call for the disqualification, Valentine and Cabana had a brief scuffle, but were quickly separated and no further hostilities took place. Lance Russell: Well, there you have the debut of the Dream Team. I am sure we all would have preferred a clean ending to that match, but at least we got to see what these guys are made of. That will bring us to intermission now. Rather than our usual commercial for the Souvenir stand, we are going to dedicate this intermission to the memory of one of the true legends of the sport. Please enjoy this video montage celebrating the career of "Sensational" Sherri Martel: ***INTERMISSION***Mark Madden: Welcome back, fans, to the second half of tonight's show. Once again, I am here to address the so-called "Y2J" problem. Sadly, MVP was unable to get the job done, and Jericho is still strutting around here like he owns the place. But let me warn you, Jericho. Don't get too comfortable. There is still $10,000 riding on your hide, and I am confident that someone will step up and put you out of commission... MARK MY WORDS! HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHCHRIS SABIN pinned CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Danny Davis) Sabin and Claudio hooked up in a classic battle. The match went back and forth repeatedly until the wrestlers had combined to pile up 11 fatigue tokens! Sabin survived multiple applications of the Swi$$ Sleeperholding and finally toppled Claudio with a magnificent deathjump to score the pin. Lance Russell: Well done! Sabin is one of the hottest wrestlers in the Heartland right now, and he is headed for a title match against SAMOA JOE! Joe looks to be the prohibitive favorite going into that match, but Sabin is full of surprises and I wouldn't put it past him to pose a serious threat to the title. GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATIONHERNANDEZ pinned STING(Referee: Brady Boone) The bad blood ran deep throughout this contest, as both men went after each other with a fury. The match went inside the ring and out, and the steel steps and the security railing each came into play. After a lengthy brawl, Sting began to gain the upper hand. As he set up for the Stinger Splash, CHRISTIAN appeared at ringside and whacked Sting with a steel chair. Sting staggered into Hernandez, who lifted him up for the Megabomb and the pinfall. After stealing the victory, Christian and Hernandez set Sting up for the Con-Chair-To, but NIKITA KOLOFF rushed the ring with a chair of his own, chasing the attackers back to the dressing room.Lance Russell: Goodness gracious! Hernandez has not lost a beat in his pursuit of Sting. His alliance with the devious Christian will only make him that much more dangerous. Sting and Nikita will need to be on guard at all times with these two on their tails. Now, let's go to the main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD JUNIOR-X CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Junior X-Division Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 210 pounds, he is the current NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Champion. This is HOMICIDE! And his opponent is the defending NWA Junior X-Division Champion. Weighing in at 165 pounds, and hailing from Mexico City, here is MISTICO!HOMICIDE pinned MISTICO to win the JUNIOR-X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Homicide used his power and aggression to neutralize the speed of Mistico and capture the Junior X-Division title! The two men exchanged moves through the early stages of the match, with neither man gaining advantage. Homicide turned it up a notch, peppering Mistico with the flying body splash and the tree of woe dropkick. Mistico left the ring for a breather, but Homicide pursued him and levelled him with a powerful running clothesline. Joe Kopasz issued a warning, but chose to allow the match to continue. Homicide took control, clobbering Mistico with Da Cop Killa. When Mistico managed to kick out, Homicide delivered the move again and it was lights out for Mistico. Lance Russell: Ladies and gentlemen, history has been made here in Youngstown! We have a new NWA Junior X-Division Champion! Congratulations to Homicide for bringing back the gold! And best of luck to Homicide as he will be hitting the road to defend his belt against all comers. What a way to cap off an exciting night of action! Fans, we thank you for joining us here tonight. We'll be back Monday night for the next episode of Adrenaline in our usual time slot. Our main event will be the Heartland Heavyweight Championship match pitting SAMOA JOE against the new #1 contender, CHRIS SABIN! Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Commissioner Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #59 Canton Civic Center, Canton, Ohio June 25, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans, and welcome to tonight's episode of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Civic Center, in Canton, Ohio. Tonight we have an exciting night of action planned, with a special main event match-up as SAMOA JOE is here to defend his title against CHRIS SABIN. We'll also see- MISTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR KEN - NE - DY !!!!Lance Russell appears startled as he is interrupted by the voice of Mr. Kennedy at the top of the ring ramp. He holds the Midwest Title belt over his shoulder.Kennedy: KEN - NE - DYYYYYYYY! Ladies and gentlemen, it is my distinct honor, and YOUR privilege, to welcome to Canton, Ohio, your new Midwest Heavyweight Champion. With HOMICIDE leaving the federation and CARLITO under suspension, the Midwest Championship has returned to its rightful owner. He hails from the TRUE football capital of America, Green Bay, Wisconsin, and comes to the ring at 248 pounds of chiseled perfection. He is MISTERRRRRRRRRRR- Kennedy continues his rant, but his microphone is suddenly cut off. MARK MADDEN appears next to Kennedy on the stage.Madden: Um, excuse me, Ken. You're getting a little ahead of yourself. As much as I admire your panache, you can't just declare yourself to be the new Midwest Champion. Kennedy grins sheepishly as Madden takes the belt.Madden: The Midwest Heavyweight Title will be awarded on Friday night at Fury. As the number one contender and former champion, Mr. Kennedy will have his shot at the title. His opponent will be determined tonight, in this very ring, in a 10-man battle royal! And, despite his pending suspension, MELINA has petitioned the Championship Committee to allow CARLITO to enter the battle royal. Kennedy: Freakin' Chuck Norris! Lance Russell: Well, there you have it, fans, a special match has been added to tonight's card. We'll see a 10-man battle royal, with the winner to face Kennedy on Friday night for the Midwest Title. Fans, I've just been informed that an altercation has broken out in the parking lot! Let's see if we can get a camera out there to see what is taking place. The camera picks up the action in the parking lot, where GREG VALENTINE is seen brawling with RICK RUDE. SO CAL VAL looks on, squealing and cheering for her man Rude. Rude is on top of Valentine, pounding on him with fists. Valentine reaches up and pokes Rude in the eyes, freeing himself. Valentine gets to his feet and kicks Rude in the side of the head with the flat of his boot. Rude goes sprawling onto the concrete. Val jumps on top of Rude, protecting him from further assault as Valentine turns and head into the arena.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a confrontation! I have been told the Rude initiated that brawl when he jumped Valentine from behind a car. But it looks like Valentine handled his business perfectly well, and might have done some serious damage if Val had not stepped in. Tonight's opening contest should be a tremendous battle indeed! GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE pinned RICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Brady Boone) After escaping the Pearl Harbor job in the parking lot, Valentine tore into Rude and Rude was ready for it. The two veterans battled back and forth, absorbing heavy artillery and dishing out their best shots. Valentine seized the advantage when he nailed Rude with a boot to the face as Rude charged the turnbuckle. A few short moments later, Valentine delivered a devastating piledriver to claim the victory. Lance Russell: Wow! Valentine really showed up tonight! I think Rude may have learned a good lesson about bad behavior. The Hammer is here... let the competition fear! CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Danny Davis) In a highly competitive and wild match-up, both managers got into the fray before Daniels finally got back on the winning track. Claudio gained an early advantage, but was unable to put Daniels away with the dreaded Swi$$ Sleeperholding. Daniels responded a few moments later, flooring Claudio with a high knee smash. As he prepared for the Angel's Wings, Val jumped to the ring apron. Daniels shoved Castagnoli, who slammed into Val and sent her to the concrete floor. Daniels was concerned, but Claudio fought on, hitting consecutive Cough Drops, followed by a Ricola Bomb which drew a two-count. As Danny Davis checked on the injured Val, Allison saw her opportunity and jumped onto Claudio's back! Before Claudio could escape, Daniels nailed him with another high knee smash. As Allison fled, Daniels applied the Angel's Wings, but Claudio kicked out! Not to be denied, the Fallen Angel set him up again, repeating the Angel's Wings to finally secure the victory. Lance Russell: Not such a good night for Val tonight. Two matches, two defeats. MethinksVal needs to go back to the drawing board. Perhaps her fortunes will improve when CURT HENNIG makes it back to action. And now, we have a special tag team match, pitting two teams of great competitors. Both teams need a win to get back on track as BRIAN PILLMAN returns to action with his partner, OWEN HART, as they prepare to take on THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT.OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN defeated STING & NIKITA KOLOFF(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In another highly competitive match, the high-flying duo of Hart and Pillman wore down Sting and Koloff to capture a dramatic victory. The match was conducted with the highest degree of sportsmanship, as both teams were respectful in the early going. As the match progressed, Koloff took a more aggressive tenor, throwing Owen out of the ring and roughing him up on the floor. Kopasz allowed the action to continue, and Owen fell victim to a powerful Russian Sickle, forcing Pillman to make the save. Owen finally managed to tag Pillman, who went to town on both opponents with dropkicks and head scissor takedowns. Sting tagged in, and Pillman immediately went to the air, stunning his larger opponent with a flurry of aerial manuvers. FInally, Pillman nailed Sting with a flying crossbody block from the top rope, scoring a pinfall as Nikita was unable to make the save! Lance Russell: Wow! Pillman is back and with a vengeance! I must say, Pillman and Owen exceeded my expectations in that match. I never expected them to get the best of a fine team like the Soldiers. Now, let's head to Intermission. Despite Mr. Kennedy's ravings, Canton is the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, so be sure to stop at the Heartland Concession Stand for a Hall of Fame Hot Dog! One-third of a yard of gustatory delight. Get 'em while they're hot! ***INTERMISSION***As the intermission ends, JIM CORNETTE enters the ring, still without his tennis racket.Cornette: Fans, everybody here knows that James E. Cornette is a man of action. I brought my Midnight Express here and we took the Tag Team Titles in record time. And now I have that punk, CHRIS JERICHO, to deal with. Let me tell you this, you piece of garbage, you may have slithered off the hook once, but it will NOT happen again! I have hired a man to watch my back, and to take you out! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the newest member of James E. Cornette, Incorporated... MVP!HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE CONTENDERS: QUALIFYING MATCHTAKESHI MORISHIMA pinned MVP (w/ JIM CORNETTE)(Referee: Danny Davis) Even with Cornette at ringside, MVP was no match for the powerhouse Morishima. The giant Japanese simply overpowered the rookie MVP, nailing him with multiple Saito Suplexes and pinning him cleanly. Lance Russell: Well, it is true that Chris Jericho may need to watch his back, but obviously Morishima has nothing to worry about. The big man wins tonight's match and moves closer to a shot at SAMOA JOE. And now, we move ahead to our special attraction for tonight- a 10-man battle royal! The winner receives a match against MR. KENNEDY with the Midwest Title on the line! BATTLE ROYAL RESULTSSENSHI was tossed out by CHRIS HERO after a diving double foot stomp NIKITA KOLOFF was dumped by CARLITO after missing a charge to the turnbuckle against CHRIS HEROMISTICO was pitched out by CARLITO after a swinging neckbreaker CHRIS HERO was eliminated by BATISTA as Hero tried to throw out CHRISTOPHER DANIELSBRYAN DANIELSON was eliminated by BATISTA as he struggled with CARLITOCLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI was eliminated by CHRISTOPHER DANIELS after a long struggle CARLITO was knocked out by DANIELS with a charging high knee CHRISTOPHER DANIELS was eliminated by DELIRIOUS after a Cobra Stretch BATISTA was eliminated by DELIRIOUS after a Cobra Stretch WINNER: DELIRIOUSLance Russell: There you go, fans. Your winner, and challenger for the Midwest Title, is Delirious. That should certainly prove to be a highly competitive matchup between two athletic, talented, and... shall we say... colorful personalitites. I can't wait! Now, let's head back to the ring where Lillian Garcia is ready with the introductions for tonight's main event. Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 215 pounds and hailing from Detroit, Michigan, being accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER, here is CHRIS SABIN!Lance Russell: My, oh, my. This is an unexpected development! Sabin is coming to the ring with Allison Danger. This is a new alliance for the young challenger- I wonder what the story is behind this? Is this a new manager? Or is this just a one-time assignment? I guess taking on the likes of SAMOA JOE, Sabin feels like he needs all the help he can get. Lillian: And his opponent is your NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion! Weighing in at 280 pounds, from Orange County, California, this is SAMOA JOE!MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPSAMOA JOE pinned CHRIS SABIN (w/ ALLISON DANGER) to retain the title(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Sabin was inspired by his new valet, but Samoa Joe was simply too much. Sabin had a couple of impressive flurries, but Joe overpowered him with the Coquina Clutch and finished him cleanly with the Avalanche Muscle Buster. Lance Russell: Very impressive! Samoa Joe retains his belt and remains the dominant force in the Heartland. Who will step up to face the champion next? That remains to be seen. Folks, we thank you for joining us here tonight for this special edition of Adrenaline. We'll be back on Friday with a loaded card at Fury, featuring TWO title matches! You'll see the tag team titles on the line as the BRISCOE BROTHERS square off in their championship rematch against the newly crowned champions, the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS. And of course, the match you have been waiting for, as a new Midwest champion will be crowned as MR. KENNEDY takes on DELIRIOUS. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #60 Wolstein Center, Cleveland, Ohio June 29, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Friday Night Fury! This is Lance Russell coming to you live from the campus of Cleveland State University with a very exciting night of action. Tonight we will have two titles on the line! The vacant Midwest Heavyweight Championship will be decided tonight, as former champion MR. KENNEDY takes on DELIRIOUS. And, in our main event, the Tag Team Championship will be on the line as THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS defend the belts against the former champions, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS.Fans, I would be remiss if I did not wish a sad farewell to one of our own. Love her or hate her, we have all been shocked at the passing of a Heartland legend. We have lost the dynamic and energetic WOMAN this week, and we are all in a state of mourning. The BRISCOE BROTHERS will be in action tonight, under new management. Our heartfelt condolences and our prayers go out to Nancy, her family, and everyone whose lives she touched during her life. (Moment of silence.)DELIRIOUS pinned CHRIS SABIN (w/ ALLISON DANGER)(Referee: Brady Boone) The athletic cruiserweights waged a high-flying war! Delirious controlled much of the action, forcing Sabin to flee the ring, only to by hit with a flying corkscrew pescado! Allison interjected herself at this point, taking a shot at Delirious with her high-heeled shoe. But Delirious ducked away, and the shoe nailed Brady Boone. Boone was out for several minutes as the brawl continued with neither man gaining the advantage. As Boone recovered, Allison went at Delirious with the other shoe, again missing her target! This time, it was Sabin who was decked, allowing Delirious to launch a death jump and score the pin. Lance Russell: Wow! What a competitive contest! That Delirious is one shifty wrestler- and he's not finished yet! He will be back after intermission to take on MR. KENNEDY for the Midwest Title. As for Sabin, it looks like he and Allison have some more strategy sessions in their future. Now, let's take a look at the controversial CHRIS JERICHO, still walking around the Heartland with a bounty on his head. CHRIS JERICHO defeated NIKITA KOLOFF by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) Still fighting for his career against the threats of JIM CORNETTE, Jericho came out like a house afire! Nikita was caught off-guard when Jericho nailed a dropkick, and stunned when Jericho nailed him with a missile dropkick! Nikita managed to kick out, but Jericho moved immediately to the Liontamer and Koloff was unable to escape, forcing the submission. After the decision, Koloff surprised the world, getting up from the canvas and attacking Jericho from behind! Nikita knocked Jericho to the mat with the Russian Sickle, then stomped on his head, and hurled him out of the ring. Nikita went for his chain, preparing to lay in to Jericho, but Chris reached under the ring and pulled out MVP's baseball bat! The element of surprise got the best of Nikita as Jericho smacked Nikita on the arm with the bat, forcing him to drop the chain, and giving Jericho a clear path to escape. As the brawl settled down, STING came to ringside to confront Nikita. Nikita refused to listen to Sting, and stormed out of the ring area. Sting offered Jericho a handshake, and the two men returned to the backstage area together.Lance Russell: Oh, my! I guess the $10,000 bounty proved too much for Nikita to resist. He and Sting will need to have a long discussion after that incident if the Soldiers of the Covenant are going to hold it together. It looks like Nikita was holding that left arm against his body as he left. He took a pretty good shot from Jericho. And once again, Jericho continues to survive another onslaught! A video package plays, depicting RICK RUDE and GREG VALENTINE having a parking lot brawl at Monday Night Adrenaline in Canton. SO CAL VAL appears in the clip, shrieking and squealing as Valentine gets the best of Rude and leaves the parking lot unharmed.THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST) defeated THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Mayhem in the tag division! The old rivals, the Kings and the Airborne, hooked up in another competitive encounter. Some fine coordination by the Kings had Jake in early trouble, but he was able to tag out to Dave to keep the Airborne in the match. Dave and Jake responded with a flurry of their own, hitting Hero with the Doublestomp DVD for a near-fall. But the Kings slowly regained control, wearing down Jake and setting him up for rhe Hero's Welcome. Just as the Kings were prepared to deliver the finisher, GREG VALENTINE rushed the ring and back-jumped Hero! The Crist Brothers reacted quickly, nailing Hero with the Irish Air Raid and scoring the pin! After the pin, an enraged Hero went after Jake, but Jake held his ground. Joe Kopasz was able to regain control of the situation and put a halt to the brawl as Valentine sneaked away unnoticed.Lance Russell: Well... it looks like Valentine has taken a measure of revenge against Val! I am sure he has his eye on RICK RUDE, and you better believe Rude wants a piece of Valentine just the same. We have certainly seen our fair share of action here tonight. Let's head to an intermission. We're having a great night here in Cleveland, home of the NBA Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers. In celebration, be sure to stop by the Heartland Souvenir Stand and pick up an ANDERSON VAREJAO wig! Show your support for the team! ***INTERMISSION*** Mark Madden: Welcome back, fans! It is a very special night here in Cleveland- better than anything this town has seen since the Cuyahoga River caught fire! We are proud to have the Tag Team and the Midwest belts on the line! We'll get started again as soon as Lance Russell takes off that goofy wig and gets back to his job. HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE CONTENDERS: QUALIFYING MATCHCURT HENNIG (w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated BRYAN DANIELSON(Referee: Brady Boone) Hennig started off quickly, getting after Danielson with a flurry of dropkicks and kneelifts. The Dragon never got untracked as "Mr. Perfect" rode the momentum to victory after a nicely executed Hennig Plex. Lance Russell: Finally... something goes right for Val! A big victory for Hennig, who moves on in his quest for a shot at SAMOA JOE. And now, we take you to our double main event! MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPDELIRIOUS pinned MR. KENNEDY to win the title!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In an exciting and fast-paced match, the bizarre Delirious outmanuvered the cocky Kennedy to win his first title in the Heartland. Kennedy attempted to slow down the frenetic Delirious with his arsenal of power moves. Delirious absorbed the punishment, then saw his opening, coming off the ropes with a spinning heel kick to stun Kennedy. Once in control, Delirious delivered a series of flying moves, flooring Kennedy with the Shadows over Hell, setting up the Chemical Imbalance #2 which sealed the victory! Mark Madden enters the ring, holding the Midwest Title belt. Kennedy grimaces with disgust and rolls out of the ring in frustration. Streamers of black and green fly into the ring from all directions as Delirious grabs the belt. He holds the belt overhead and runs wildly around the ring as Madden scowls and pulls the streamers off of his head and shoulders. As Lillian Garcia enters the ring, Delirious grabs her and dips her low to the ground for a kiss before running through the crowd, holding the belt and throwing the streamers into the crowd.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! You gotta love a happy ending. The goofy Delirious wins the Midwest Title and goes home happy. The fans are happy, and it appears that even Lillian Garcia has a twinkle in her eye as she prepares to introduce the main event. MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Tag Team Championship! Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, the challengers, accompanied to the ring by MR. FUJI. From Laurel, Delaware, at a total combined weight of 385 pounds, here are MARK AND JAY, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS! And their opponents are your reigning and defending Tag Team Champions. They are accompanied to the ring by JIM CORNETTE, at a total combined weight of 458 pounds, "BEAUTIFUL" BOBBY EATON... "SWEET" STAN LANE... THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS!THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) defeated THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ MR. FUJI)(Referee: Danny Davis) In a surprisingly quick finish, the Express held on to the belts when Eaton smartly ducked away from a Mark Briscoe deathjump. Mark crashed and burned, and Eaton quickly made the cover and captured the three-count! Lance Russell: Wow! What a match! I can't believe the Midnights dispatched the Briscoes that easily. Cornette has his boys at the top of their game now, to be sure. What an awesome ending to what has been a truly great night of wrestling. Congratulations to Commissioner Madden for putting together a tremendous card! Congratulations are also in order to Heartland Promoter, Dave Little, who is proud to announce that the Heartland Forum at the Filsinger Web Page has recently welcomed its 1000th visitor! Keep up the good work, Dr. Dave! Fans, we do thank you for joining us from Cleveland tonight. We'll be back in action on Monday with another exciting episode of Adrenaline. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #61 U. S. Cellular Coliseum, Bloomington, Illinois July 1, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the special Fourth of July edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, and it's great to be back in the state of Illinois! We are coming to you live from the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington with the final televised event before promoter Dave Little heads to Galacticon 2007 to scout some new talent! Tonight's card will feature a double main event as the qualifying matches continue for the #1 contender's position to the Heartland Heavyweight Title. Our matches are down to the final four, and tonight we will see TAKESHI MORISHIMA take on CURT HENNIG, and in our finale, the rivalry between CARLITO and MR. KENNEDY will be renewed! Let's head to the ring for our opening contest. CHRIS JERICHO defeated GREG VALENTINE by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) Valentine started slowly and deliberately, backing Jericho down with chops and forearms. Valentine went to the figure-four in the early going, but Jericho was able to work his way to the ropes, forcing Boone to call for the break. Jericho rolled out of the ring, and the rugged Valentine followed. But it was Jericho who got the drop on the Hammer, slamming him head-first to the ring steps to take control. Jericho went to the air, scoring with a pair of death jumps, setting up Valentine for the Lion Tamer and a clean submission victory. After the match, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI came to the ring and back-jumped Jericho! Jericho and Claudio slugged it out furiously before STING bolted to the ring and ran off Claudio.Lance Russell: Do you believe that? Jericho is still walking around with a $10,000 bounty on his head, and wouldn't you know that the richest man in the Heartland comes to try and collect. But once again, Jericho was up to the task, and now it appears that he has found a powerful ally in STING to assist his cause. COLT CABANA pinned BRUTUS BEEFCAKE(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Chaos in the ring! Beefcake and Cabana had barely gotten started when Brutus summoned his tag partner GREG VALENTINE to the ring renewing the rivalry which began at Friday Night Fury in Youngstown. But Cabana was wise to the interference, quickly dispatching Valentine and taking the offensive on Beefcake. Cabana delivered a Colt .45, but Beefcake kicked out. Cabana immediately rolled him over in a pinning combination and caught a surprise three-count for the win! Lance Russell: Wow! Cabana surprised Beefcake with that pinning combination and stole a quick victory with a classic wrestling manuver. Sometimes we forget, fans, in the words of the late, great GORDON SOLIE, "The name on the marquee is WRESTLING". And for all his goofy antics, Cabana is a fine technician inside that squared circle. CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated CHRIS SABIN (w/ ALLISON DANGER)(Referee: Danny Davis) In the latest installment of a continuing rivalry, Claudio finally managed to get the best of Sabin. After Sabin missed with a flying "Air Juvie", Claudio manuvered his groggy opponent into the Swi$$ Sleeperholding. Allison tried to coax her man to escape, but Castagnoli was too strong and Sabin blacked out. Lance Russell: Finally, a win for one of Val's Pals. Her guys have been in something of a slump recently. And Sabin got the best of Claudio the last time around, so I am sure the big Swiss grappler feels vindicated on some level. We still have three more exciting matches planned, but now will be a good time to head to a break. Be sure to stop by the Heartland Souvenir Stand tonight and meet our very special guest. A graduate of Illinois State University, and Olympic hero, and a former overall #1 draft pick in the NBA, be sure to say hello to DOUG COLLINS!***INTERMISSION***BATISTA (w/ MELINA) pinned OWEN HART(Referee: Danny Davis) Batista had Owen overmatched for the majority of this contest. Owen survived the Spear on three occasions, and even rallied with a brief aerial flurry. Owen's moment was interrupted when Melina nailed Hart with a low blow. Batista immediately capitalized with a Batista Bomb and finished him. Lance Russell: How pathetic is that? Batista is twice the size of Owen, but he still needs shortcuts from that witch Melina to win a match. I am disgusted! MARK MADDEN enters the ring with a microphone. TYSON TOMKO stands beside him, holding his briefcase.Madden: Good evening fans, and thank you for joining us here tonight. The final two matches on tonight's card are the semifinals of the qualifying tournament for the number one contender's position at the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Tonight's winners will face off in our special Galacticon edition of Fury to determine the number 1 contender to the Heartland Heavyweight Title! Best of luck to all four men in their quest for the title shot! HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHTAKESHI MORISHIMA pinned CURT HENNIG (w/ SO CAL VAL)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Hennig jumped out to a quick start after coming off the ropes and catching Morishima with a wicked piledriver. "Mr. Perfect" delivered a flurry, earning a couple of near falls, but was not strong enough to hold Morishima down for the count. Hennig went to the top rope, but Takeshi caught him and slammed him hard to the canvas. Morishima took control, eecuting three consecutive Saito Suplexes to overwhelm Hennig and pin him cleanly. Lance Russell: Wow! This Morishima is one big, bad dude. SAMOA JOE had best be studying tapes of this guy. The will be one Clash of the Titans if it plays out. HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event of the evening. The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by MELINA, from Puerto Rico. Weighing in at 230 pounds, he is Carribean Cool, CARLITO! Carlito strides to the ring confidently, with Melina on his arm. They are accompanied to the ring by BATISTA and SENSHI. Lillian Garcia: And his opponent, weigh- Kennedy: MISTERRRRRRRRRR KEN - NE - DY! Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, passing through the Heartland on his way to the NWA World Heavyweight Champion... he is 248 pounds of chiseled perfection... KEN - NE - DYYYYYY! Kennedy marches to the ring with a scowl. He brushes past Batista without flinching, then threatens to backhand Senshi as he ascends the ring steps. He steps between the ropes and immediately stands nose to nose with Carlito. Brady Boone calls for the bell and the match is on!MR. KENNEDY pinned CARLITO (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Brady Boone) Kennedy went right to work, scoffing at Melina's show of force. As Carlito exchanged the gladhands with his stablemates, Kennedy pounced! Kennedy threw Carlito to the mat with a reverse neckbreaker, scooped him up, and crushed him with the Lambeau Leap! Brady Boone was in perfect position to count the pinfall before Batista and Senshi could intervene. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Kennedy just stared down the barrel of the gun and refused to be intimidated! What a great performance by the rising star to top off a great night of action. And so, it will be Kennedy versus Morishima to determine the number one contender for the Heartland Championship! We'll see that match at our Galacticon Supershow. We'll also see a special NWA World Championship match as FRANK GOTCH defends against SAMOA JOE! Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #62 GALACTICON SUPERSHOW, Jamestown, New York July 7, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to an extra special presentation of Heartland Wrestling, brought to you by the NWA. I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Galacticon 2007! It is both an honor and a privilege to be part of the festivities for this special event, hosted by the Founding Father of the Legends of Wrestling, Tom Filsinger! We are live from the campus of Jamestown Community College in western New York with an exciting night of action. Tonight's card will feature two title matches, and a number one contenders' match for a shot at the Heartland Heavyweight Champion. Our main event will be for the biggest prize of them all - the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! The reigning champion, FRANK GOTCH, is here at Galacticon to meet the challenge of the number one man in the Heartland, SAMOA JOE. Let's get the action rolling! CHRIS HERO (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned JIMMY JACOBS(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Hero dominated the match from the opening bell. Jacobs absorbed a considerable amount of punishment, but failed to mount any meaningful offense. After several near-falls, Hero finally finished Jacobs with a diving double foot stomp to score the victory. Lance Russell: Jacobs was clearly out of his league tonight. Hero dominated that match, and he is now moving up the ladder toward championship contention. He may be the sleeping giant of Val's Pals. STING defeated RICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL) by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) The longstanding feud between Sting and the Ravishing One re-emerged in Jamestown. After a brief early exchange, Sting quickly got the upper hand! Rude took the action outside the ring, but Sting got the best of the violent brawl and immediately rolled Rude back into the ring and clamped on the Scorpion Deathlock. Val was helpless to intervene and Rude was forced to tap out in a surprisingly quick match. Lance Russell: Wow! Sting really took the fight to Rude tonight. Rude had no chance, even with Val in his corner. Sting has had plenty of problems dealing with Hernandez, and even now with his own tag team partner, so tonight he was all business in dismantling his old rival. Strong work! MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPAs the match is announced, DELIRIOUS sprints down the aisle as his music plays. He holds the Midwest belt overhead as the fans cheer wildly. As CHRISTIAN CAGE is announced, Delirious enters a trance while squatting in his corner. Cage is clearly annoyed and perplexed. He approaches Delirious, who remains motionless until Christian makes a grab for the belt. At that moment, Delirious springs into action, leaping up from the corner and levelling Christian with a forearm. Before Christian can get to his feet, Delirious leaps on top of him and bites him squarely on the nose! Christian pulls away, enraged, as Danny Davis calls for the bell.DELIRIOUS (c) defeated CHRISTIAN CAGE by countout(Referee: Danny Davis) Delirious and Christian went back and forth through the early stages of the match until Delirious caught Christian in the Cobra Stretch. Christian was clearly weakened and tried to roll out of the ring for a breather. But Delirious followed and a brawl erupted. The crazy champion got the best of his challenger until HERNANDEZ came to ringside to rescue Christian. Danny Davis tried to maintain control, but Christian turned away and threw his hands up in dismay at the champion's bizarre antics. Davis gave Christian a 10-count, but he refused to return to the ring and the decision was awarded to Delirious. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! It looks like the antics of Delirious were just too much for Christian to comprehend. I have always suspected that there is a method to this man's madness, and tonight he clearly got into Christian's head. Perhaps Christian is not the "master manipulator" we once thought he was. He'll need to get his thoughts together after that debacle. Fans, we've got two exciting events remaining tonight, so let's head to a break. We have a plethora of special guests on hand here tonight, but none more preeminent than the man himself... TOM FILSINGER! Stop by the Heartland Souvenir Stand for a conversation with the creator of Legends of Wrestling! ***INTERMISSION***Mark Madden: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Galacticon 2007! It is a privilege for us to be a part of this special event. We have a plethora of dignitaries on hand tomight! Let's give a special welcome to TOM FILSINGER! And tonight's entertainment, brought to you by THROWING TOASTERS! We are also joined by MARK ASHBY... the legendary SWARM, aka the number one Delirious fan on the planet! And let's not forget TY STATES, the master historian of wrestling, and of course the greatest booker in the Legends of Wrestling, the TOURNAMENT MASTER! And finally, our congratulations are in order to Galacticon Cup Winner TROY XAVIER, who took CHAOS to the cup! And now, with no further ado, let's get to our number one contenders' match! HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHTAKESHI MORISHIMA pinned MR. KENNEDY(Referee: Danny Davis) Kennedy took the early initiative, putting Morishima on the defensive with an amazing back suplex and nailing the giant Japanese with a Lambeau Leap. But Morishima kicked out, and action spilled outside the ring. Morishima smartly returned to the ring, getting the jump on Kennedy and capturing him with a series of Saito Suplexes. The third suplex proved to be more than Kennedy withstand, and Morishima made the cover and captured the three-count. Lance Russell: Strong! Morishima is making his move to the top of the heap in the Heartland. This man is impervious to punishment, and can dish it out with the best of them. He is a superb technician in the tradition of Japan's finest. I am VERY impressed with this man's future in the NWA. Now, fans, it is time for the NWA World Championship! MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, from Orange County, California, weighing in at 280 pounds, he is your current Heartland Heavyweight Champion, the Samoan Submission Machine, SAMOA JOE! And his opponent is your reigning and defending Heavyweight Champion of the World. Hailing from Humboldt, Iowa, weighing in at 208 pounds, FRANK GOTCH!SAMOA JOE pinned FRANK GOTCH to win the NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The defending champion Gotch appeared to be out of his element against the stronger and more aggressive Samoan challenger. After an unsuccessful attempt at a figure-4 leglock, Gotch was drilled by a devastating enzuigiri from Joe. Gotch sought to escape the ring, but Joe followed and gained the measure of Gotch on the ring floor. Referee Joe Kopasz watched the action closely, but allowed the match to continue. Joe rolled Gotch back into the ring, and twice applied the Coquina Clutch. Gotch refused to submit, but was badly weakened. Samoa Joe kept on the attack, taking Gotch to the top rope and nailing him with an Avalanche Muscle Buster to score the pin! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Goodness gracious! History has been made here at Galacticon as we have crowned a new NWA World Heavyweight Champion! Samoa Joe has captured the gold, ladies and gentlemen. The ring is filled with streamers as Joe is celebrating. Frank Gotch is certainly taking this all in stride as he offers Joe and handshake and raises the arm of the new champion. Many of the Heartland competitors are celebrating with joe in the ring, including the Commissioner himself, Mark Madden, and the head of the Championship Committee, CHUCK NORRIS. STING is in the ring, along with DAVE AND JAKE CRIST, OWEN HART, AJ STYLES, and many other well-wishers as the show closes with a bang! Thank you so much, ladies and gentlemen, for joining us here at Galacticon 2007. On behalf of the entire crew of the Heartland, including Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #63 Metro Center, Rockford, Illinois July 10, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the latest edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Metro Center in Rockford, Illinois. We continue to celebrate with SAMOA JOE, your new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Before we get to tonight's matches, we will have a special announcement from the Commissioner regarding our own Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Mr. Madden? Mark Madden: Thank you, Lance. As you know, NWA regulations call for the World Champion to tour all federations and defend his title. As a result, Samoa Joe has vacated the Heartland Title. The Heartland Championship Committee has selected four men as the top contenders for the belt. These men will be entered into contenders' matches, and the winners will face each other at Heartland Havoc IX to crown a new champion. The four men selected are: former NWA World Champion FRANK GOTCH; former NWA Junior X-Division Champion MISTICO; current Midwest Heavyweight Champion DELIRIOUS; and current Heartland #1 contender TAKESHI MORISHIMA. Tonight's main event, randomly selected, will pit Mistico against Morishima for the first spot in the championship match! Lance Russell: Thank you for that update, Mr. Madden. And thanks to the Championship Committee for setting up an excellent tournament between four top-notch competitors. Now, let's get to the ring for tonight's action! CARLITO & BATISTA (w/ MELINA) defeated THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ MR. FUJI) by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The hostilities between these hard-hitting teams continued! Batista dominated this match, spearing both Briscoes repeatedly, even nailing Mark with a crushing spear on the concrete floor. Mr. Fuji was unable to distract Joe Kopasz, and finally resorted to pelting Batista with salt in his eyes. Kopasz immediately called for the disqualification. The Briscoes continued to pummel Batista, but Carlito managed to clear the ring before any serious damage could be inflicted. Lance Russell: Wow! Batista has certainly returned to form. He dominated that match! The Briscoes are not exactly thriving under their new management. But MR. FUJI is a dangerous man, and if he and the Briscoes are backed into the corner, they will always be dangerous competitors. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned SENSHI (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Danny Davis) The two long-time rivals hooked up in another excellent duel, which turned when Senshi missed a corkscrew plancha and crashed to the concrete floor. Daniels quickly rolled him back into the ring and delivered the BME, but Melina was able to pull Senshi's foot onto the bottom rope. Not to be denied, Daniels delievered the Angel's Wings and scored a clean pinfall victory. Lance Russell: Outstanding match! Daniels is another guy who has peaked, but hasn't been the same since he lost the Midwest Title. It looks like he is finally working his way back into contention. Our next match is a tag team contest. The winners of this match will move on to a #1 contenders' match for a shot at the tag titles! THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST) defeated THE DREAM TEAM (BRUTUS BEEFCAKE & GREG VALENTINE)(Referee: Brady Boone) Superior teamwork by the Crist Brothers was the theme of this match as they isolated Brutus in the ring and broke him down. Valentine was able to rescue Beefcake from one pinning predicament, but Jake made the blind tag to Dave who came off the top turnbuckle with a perfect cross-body block and pinned Brutus cleanly! Lance Russell: Congratulations to the Irish Airborne for moving on! These young men continue to grind their way through the tag ranks and I cannot help but admire their determination. We'll see them Friday, as they will be back to face OWEN HART and BRIAN PILLMAN for a shot at the tag titles! Now let's go to our intermission. Tonight we have a very special guest at the Heartland Souvenir Stand, none other than NWA World Heavyweight Champion SAMOA JOE himself! Stop by for an autograph, and get yourself a picture with the most renowned gold belt in our sport. ***INTERMISSION***TAKESHI MORISHIMA pinned MISTICO(Referee: Brady Boone) Weighing nearly twice as much as his opponent, Morishima squashed Mistico with little difficulty. Morishima battered his smaller foe with side slams and his patented running hip attack. Mistico made it to the top turnbuckle at one point, only to be grabbed by Morishima and hurled to the canvas. Mistico hung on gamely, surviving three Saito Suplexes before Morishima was able to suplex him a fourth time and score the victory. Lance Russell: Sometimes, Goliath wins. Whether it's FRANK GOTCH or DELIRIOUS, whoever moves on to the championship match is gonna have his hands full with Morishima. MAIN EVENT: NO DISQUALIFICATION GRUDGE MATCHA video package is displayed, documenting the brutal feud between LAX and the SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT. The broken bodies of SCOTTY STEINER and SHAWN MICHAELS are shown, both having been put out of the Heartland by LAX. Injuries to KONNAN and NIKITA KOLOFF are featured. Footage of Nikita's shocking attack on CHRIS JERICHO, Jericho's revenge, and the later confrontation between Nikita and STING complete the package. Sting and Koloff come to the ring together, but the tension between them is evident. Koloff wears a heavy bandage on his right arm, courtesy of Chris Jericho. Christian and Hernandez follow. Hernandez seethes with rage, leading the duo to the ring, while Christian appears more intimidated, as if wondering what he has gotten himself into. Sting and Hernandez face off in the center of the ring, speechless, glaring at each other with palpable fury until Danny Davis calls for the bell and the match begins!THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (STING & NIKITA KOLOFF) defeated HERNANDEZ & CHRISTIAN(Referee: Danny Davis) The bad blood between Hernandez and Sting continued to boil, even as tension between Sting and Nikita had surfaced. Nikita, proving faithful to his partner, put on an outstanding performance despite a heavily bandaged right forearm. After weakening Hernandez, Nikita surprised him by going to the left arm for a Russian Sickle and scoring the pinfall. After the match, Hernandez tried again to get after Sting, but Sting was up to the task! Nikita clotheslined Christian out of the ring, leaving Hernandez isolated against both Soldiers. Sting and Nikita went to work on Hernandez, beating him down. Sting applied a painful figure-4 leglock to a helpless Hernandez and refused to release him. Nikita held Danny Davis at bay as Sting continued to torture the left leg of Hernandez. Finally, RENE GOULET and his elite security forces were summoned from the locker room to defuse the situation. After much convincing, an angry Sting gave up the hold. Nikita stomped Hernandez in the ribs as they departed. Hernandez was unable to get to his feet, and required the assistance of Christian and Davis to leave the ring area as the show came to a close.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! The intensity of this situation may never end! I have never seen Sting reach this level of anger and violence. I thought he was going to rip Hernandez' leg off! Luckily for Hernandez, Rene Goulet was here to save the day. I just can't help but to feel, in the pit of my stomach, that this was not the final confrontation between these factions. As much as I admire Sting, and respect Hernandez, I am not sure I want to be witness to what lies ahead for these two. On that note, fans, we bid you farewell from Rockford, Illinois. We'll be back on Friday with an exciting episode of Fury, where we will see two #1 contenders' matches as we prepare for our upcoming Havoc pay-per-view. We'll see the tag team contest pitting OWEN HART and BRIAN PILLMAN against THE IRISH AIRBORNE with a title shot on the line! We'll also see the single match-up between FRANK GOTCH and DELIRIOUS, with MORISHIMA waiting in the wings for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship match at Havoc. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Heartland Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!
