NWA Heartland Card #64 Assembly Hall, Champaign, Illinois July 13, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Assembly Hall in Champaign, Illinois on the campus of the University of Illinois! Tonight is a very important evening for Heartland wrestling. This is our last card before the pay-per-view, and there are two very important matches tonight which will set the card for the Havoc show. First off, we'll see the #1 Contenders' match for the tag team titles as OWEN HART and BRIAN PILLMAN square off against THE IRISH AIRBORNE for a title match against THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS. And, in our main event, DELIRIOUS will square off against FRANK GOTCH for the final spot in the Heartland Heavyweight Championship match to be held at Havoc. We'll also have a special interview with STING, who has asked for time tonight to discuss his actions during Monday's confrontation against HERNANDEZ. Before we go to the ring, we'd like to show you a special video package to recap that confrontation. A video is shown with the conclusion of the tag match from Monday Night Adrenaline. Hernandez attacks Sting after the match, but Sting gets the better of the brawl and traps Hernandez in a painful figure-4. Sting refuses to break the hold as Hernandez taps and screams his submission. Several Heartland officials are required to pry Sting off of his rival. Finally, the package concludes with footage of Hernandez being assisted from ringside.Lance Russell: Indeed, that was a most shocking incident. Sting is an exemplary sportsman, and such a display of anger and violence is clearly out of character. He certainly deserves the opportunity to address his actions, and we'll hear his statement after the intermission. Now, let's get to the ring for our opening contest. BRYAN DANIELSON defeated HERNANDEZ by countout(Referee: Danny Davis) Hernandez fought this match with a heavily bandaged left leg, and Danielson was right on him. After staggering his wounded foe, Danielson connected with a pair of Roaring Elbows and Hernandez took a powder. As he tried to recuperate outside the ring, NIKITA KOLOFF stormed down the ramp! Hernandez saw him coming and initiated a brawl with Nikita, which ended when Koloff threw Hernandez into the ringside steel steps. Hernandez went down hard, as he appeared to re-injure his left leg. Danny Davis laid on the 10-count and Hernandez was unable to return to the match. Danielson was awarded the match by countout, and Hernandez again required assistance to return to the back. Lance Russell: Looks like Hernandez is still pretty banged up after his encounter with Sting. The tensions still run high and Hernandez paid the price tonight after that brawl with Nikita. Without LAX here to watch his back, the big man has a tough row to hoe. Nikita himself remains pretty nicked up- can he do any better in his match? Let's go back to the ring. NIKITA KOLOFF pinned MVP(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Despite wrestling with a taped right arm, Koloff still managed to capitalize on his strength advantage over MVP. MVP absorbed a lot of punishment before finally succumbing to a left-armed Russian Sickle. Lance Russell: I guess that answers my question! Nikita still found a way to win against a tough opponent while wrestling hurt. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the hallmark of a great competitor. Let's just hope this continuing feud doesn't destroy all of them. Koloff has had more than his share of injuries since his Heartland debut, and it has certainly set him back and distracted him from his pursuit of a championship. THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated BJ WHITMER & COLT CABANA(Referee: Brady Boone) Whitmer brought his usual intensity, and Cabana is a fine technician, but the team of Hero and Castagnoli countered with superior tag team execution to win with relative ease. Cabana was isolated in the ring for a long period of time, and finally pinned when the Kings executed the KRS-1. Lance Russell: Another fine win for the Kings. These two have been inconsistent in their success, but I still believe that they could be a major threat to the tag team titles here with the right commitment and the right opportunity. Okay, fans, let's head to our intermission now. When we return, we will have our conversation with Sting, followed by two contenders' matches! By the end of the evening, the complete card for Havoc should be set. While we are away, fans, be sure to check out the Heartland Concession stand. Did you know that the state of Illinois is credited with the introduction of both hot dogs and Cracker Jacks? We're having a special tonight at the snack shop- buy two hot dogs and get a free box of Cracker Jacks! This is one offer you won't want to miss! ***INTERMISSION***As the show resumes, STING appears in the ring, alone, holding a microphone to address the crowd. The music of Creed, "My Sacrifice" blares over the loudspeakers until Sting raises his hand and calls for silence.Sting: Fans, I have come here tonight to apologize for my actions last Monday on Adrenaline. The wrestling business is a daily grind and it is a battle for survival. Ever time a man steps between these ropes could be his last. Just ask Scotty Steiner or Shawn Michaels. But Monday night, I crossed the line. I let my emotions get out of control. The Soldiers of the Covenant are here to show the world that there is a higher standard. That a man can compete in the business with honor and respect. As Sting fights back his emotions, CHRISTIAN slips into the ring behind him and knocks him to the mat with a steel chair! Sting falls to the mat, trying to roll away as Christian swings another chair shot wildly at him. Before any further damage is done, CHRIS JERICHO bolts out from the dressing room, swinging the baseball bat. Christian quickly slips out of the ring and retreats up the ramp with a smirk as Jericho helps Sting to his feet. While Jericho checks on Sting, NIKITA KOLOFF comes to the ring. Koloff and Jericho have an awkward staredown before Koloff begins to talk with Sting. The conversation between Sting and Nikita becomes more heated, and Jericho steps in to try and keep the peace. Without warning, Koloff slugs Jericho and another brawl commences! Action spills outside the ring, where Jericho grabs the ball bat. Nikita comes after him with a Russian Sickle, but Jericho lifts the bat and it smacks hard against Nikita's injured shoulder. As Nikita writhes on the floor in pain, Jericho and Sting talk together briefly and leave the ring together, only to be met at the top of the ramp by COMMISSIONER MARK MADDEN, TYSON TOMKO, and JIM CORNETTE.Madden: Chris Jericho, once again you have inserted yourself into a situation where you do not belong! I am fed up with your act! With the assistance of Mr. Cornette, I have hired an opponent for you to face at Havoc. This is a deadly mercenary man who I guarantee will put an end to your nonsense once and for all! Jericho: Walrus Boy, you and your goons don't scare me one bit. There's no one you can hire who can stand in the way of Y2J. I will be there at Havoc and I will take down your mystery man and leave him laying so he will never..... EVER... be able to work for your blood money..... A-GAIN! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Our esteemed Commissioner is at it again. His grudge against Chris Jericho will just not go away. But who is this mystery mercenary? I guess we'll need to wait until Havoc to find our for certain. Now let's get on to our Contenders' matches! NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHOWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST)(Referee: Brady Boone) As always, the Airborne put up a valiant effort, but the high-flying arsenal of Pillman and Hart was just too much. After a wild flurry of aerial moves from both squads, Owen surprised Jake with a spinning side backbreaker and scored a quick pin, before Dave could react. Lance Russell: Wow! Owen and Pillman are at the top of their game. They are undefeated in the Heartland, just as the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS. Their title match at Havoc certainly promises to be something special. MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. This match is a number one contenders' match for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Introducing first, coming to you from the Edge of Sanity, weighing in at 180 pounds, he is your current NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Champion. This is DELIRIOUS! And his opponent, hailing from Humboldt, Iowa, at 208 pounds, he is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Introducing, in his Heartland debut, FRANK GOTCH!DELIRIOUS pinned FRANK GOTCH(Referee: Danny Davis) The unpredictable Delirious was at his chaotic best tonight! Delirious was either too crafty or just too oblivious to recognize the immense talents of the former World Champion. But Gotch had no idea what he was in for, as Delirious took control with his wild antics and stunned Gotch with a huracanrana, then went immediately to the Cobra Stretch. Gotch never recovered as Delirious went to work, dazzling the Illinois crowd with high-impact manuvers from all directions, finally connecting with the Chemical Imbalance #2 and pinning Gotch cleanly! Lance Russell: Unbelievable! Wrestling purists all across the world are scratching their heads after that contest. Frank Gotch is one of the finest grapplers in the history of the sport and was looked upon as the prohibitive favorite entering this match. But Delirious is so unorthodox and so unpredictable, I don't believe Gotch ever really got his bearings in that match. So, it will be DELIRIOUS taking on MORISHIMA for the Heartland Heavyweight Title at Havoc! And in our other main event, we'll see THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS defend the tag team belts against OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Havoc IX AllState Arena, Chicago, Illinois July 16, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans, and welcome to tonight's Heartland Havoc pay-per-view! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Chicago, Illinois, where we have five exciting matches on tap for this evening! Tonight, we will crown a new Heartland Heavyweight Champion in our main event. That title has been vacant since SAMOA JOE captured the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, so tonight we will see the tournament final pitting TAKESHI MORISHIMA against the surprise of the tournament, DELIRIOUS. Now, before we head to the ring, Commissioner Mark Madden is here with a special introduction. Mark Madden makes his way to the ring, accompanied by TYSON TOMKO. Tomko carries a steel briefcase. Madden, in a tuxedo, reaches into his coat pocket for reading glasses and reads a prepared statement.Madden: Ladies and gentlemen, fans of the Heartland, tonight we will attempt to rectify a situation which has plagued our federeation for many weeks. We have among us a man who is a theif and a scoundrel, who has evaded disciplinary measures and flaunted the decorum associated with polite society. As a result of continuing disrespect to Heartland management, as well as two documented instances of theft, the time has come for CHRIS JERICHO to be brought to justice. And tonight, for one night only, Heartland Wrestling has contracted the services of a special agent who will help us to resolve this issue once and for all. Heartland Wrestling also wishes to thank MR. JIM CORNETTE for his selfless generosity and commitment in support of this cause. And now, ladies and gentlemen, we present to your our special guest, coming to us by way of Promoter Madness, from Cold Springs, New York, accompanied by NURSE ELIZABETH, we bring you DOCTOR PAYNE!$10,000 BOUNTY MATCHDOCTOR PAYNE (w/ NURSE ELIZABETH) and CHRIS JERICHO battled to a no-contest(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Jericho came out very aggressively against the mysterious mercenary, but his agreesion proved to be his undoing. After scoring a near-fall with a top-rope hurricanrana, Jericho went for a deathjump, but collided with referee Joe Kopasz. With Kopasz incapacitated, the evil doctor went to work, clamping Jericho into his deadly KO Temple Claw. Jericho held on and fought the pain courageously, reaching the ropes, but with no referee to intervene, Payne kept on the hold. Jericho blacked out, but Payne still did not release the hold, keeping the pressure on. When Kopasz regained his senses, he was detained by Nurse Elizabeth as Payne continued the torturous hold. Finally, STING sprinted to the ring and Dr. Payne quickly bailed out. As Dr. Payne and Nurse Elizabeth left, they were seen heading to a limousine where they were greeted by TOMKO. Tomko handed Dr. Payne the briefcase, and doctor and nurse departed. In the ring, efforts by Sting and Kopasz to revive Jericho were unsuccessful. Paramedics were called, and Jericho was transported out of the arena on a stretcher.Lance Russell: Well! That has got to be the most revolting thing I have ever seen in this federation. For all this talk about justice and decorum, this was nothing more than a scam by Madden and Cornette. And tragically, it seems to have worked. This Dr. Payne is nothing but a mercenary assassin! Madden brought him in because his own lackeys couldn't get the job done. But it would appear that Payne has done exactly was he was brought here to do, which is to eliminate Chris Jericho. I certainly hope that Jericho is able to recover, but right now it doesn't look too promising. I am disgusted! TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATIONTHE BRISCOE BROTHERS (MARK AND JAY w/ MR. FUJI) defeated CARLITO & BATISTA (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Danny Davis) The long-awaited no-disqualification showdown started with a fury, as Batista dominated both Briscoes and laid them out with powerful clotheslines. Jay finally managed to escape from the ring, and Batista followed. As the two battled, BJ WHITMER sprinted down to the ring and took out Batista with a chop block! Batista went down hard, clutching his left knee. Carlito took up the fight for his team, but the Briscoes continued to execute superior tag team tactics, moving in and out of the ring frequently. As Carlito was worn down, he refused to tag his injured partner. Mark took over the match, going to the air repeatedly. Once Carlito went to the outside, Mark executed a flying corkscrew pescado and nailed him cleanly. At that point, Jay came in to intercept Batista as Mark executed the Cut-Throat Driver and pinned Carlito cleanly. Lance Russell: What a shocker! Mr. Fuji has certainly made his presence felt since taking over the reins of the Briscoes. And now, the hiring of BJ Whitmer has made Fuji that much more dangerous. Whitmer has had a less than stellar career here in the Heartland. His singles record has been spotty and he has failed to find a suitable tag team partner, but it would appear that he has found a very good role at the side of Mr. Fuji. I wonder if Melina will be able to withstand this trio? Once again, Batista appears to have suffered yet another injury. He is quickly becoming the Heartland's answer to MARK PRIOR.NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPTHE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) defeated OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN by disqualification to retain the titles(Referee: Brady Boone) In a brief but furious encounter, the challengers opened with a flurry! Owen Hart began the match, dazzling both the Midnights, first hitting Lane with an enzuigiri, then levelling Eaton with a huracanrana. Pillman then tagged in and kept up the offensive, catching Lane coming off the turnbuckle with an awesome running clothesline. For a brief instant, it appeared that the title might change hands, but Lane managed to get his foot onto the bottom rope and the match continued. The Midnights kept their poise, slowing down the action. Seizing an opportunity, the champs surprised Pillman with a double-team flapjack, stunning him. Eaton went directly to the top, and the Express pulled off a crushing Rocket Launcher on a stunned Pillman. Owen immediately came into the ring to save his partner, hitting Lane with another flying enzuigiri to prevent a pin, but the move was too aggressive and the strict Brady Boone awarded the match to the Midnights by disqualification. Lance Russell: That has to be a big disappointment to Owen and Pillman. Brady Boone has a reputation as a strict, no-nonsense referee and tonight he held true to form. A more experienced referee like Joe Kopasz may have given the challengers a little more leeway, but after Kopasz went down in our opening bout, the situation changed. All right, it's time for a break before our double main event with two championships to be decided! Be sure to visit the Heartland Concession Stand tonight and try a delicious slice of Chicago Deep Dish Pizza! It doesn't get any better than this in the Windy City. ***INTERMISSION***NWA JUNIOR X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPMISTICO pinned HOMICIDE to regain the Junior X-Division Championship!(Referee: Danny Davis) Mistico came into the rematch inspired, and performed to the top of his game. He alertly dodged a charging Homicide at the opening bell, and Homicide crashed hard into the steel ringpost. From that point, Mistico took to the air, delivering the Asai moonsault with perfection and keeping Homicide on the defensive with a flurry of dropkicks. Homicide never regained the momentum as Mistico was perpetual motion. After several near-falls, Mistico finally delivered a tumbling plancha which put Homicide down for the three-count. Lance Russell: Wow! Mistico gains his revenge and regains the Junior-X Division Championship! To be quite honest, Mistico really didn't show me much in his first match against Homicide, and he got squashed by Morishima, but after tonight's performance you can count me as a believer. Even Homicide is showing his respect, as the two competitors embrace in the center of the ring and Homicide hands the belt back to Mistico. After one win each, I would love to see these two hook it up one more time! I, for one, will be lobbying with Mark Kanter to make that match at the Great American Bash! I hope that our Heartland Heavyweight Championship match brings that level of excitement and competitiveness. MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Brady Boone. This match is for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, coming to you from the Edge of Sanity, weighing in at 180 pounds, he is your current NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Champion. This is DELIRIOUS! And his opponent, hailing from Tokyo, Japan, weighing in at 297 pounds, TAKESHI MORISHIMA!DELIRIOUS pinned TAKESHI MORISHIMA to win the Heartland Heavyweight Championship!(Referee: Brady Boone) In the latest of a series of stunning upsets, Delirious did the unthinkable, toppling the Japanese powerhouse Morishima to capture the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! In the early going, Morishima overpowered Delirous with a crushing lariat. Morishima then dominated the match for several minutes, hitting a pair of Saito Suplexes to nearly pin Delirious. Delirious fled the ring several times, but on each occasion Morishima took the fight to the outside and continued to pummel his masked foe. Morishima delivered another Saito Suplex for a two-count, and Delirious scurried out of the ring again. This time, he was prepared for Morishima's assault, blocking the giant's attempt to ram him into the steel steps, and reversing the move to send Takeshi face-first to the steel steps. Delirious capitalized immediately, rolling Morishima back into the ring and stunning him with the Shadows over Hell. Before Morishima could recover, Delirious followed with the Chemical Imbalance #2 and captured a three-count! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! I do not believe what I just saw! The unpredictable one has pulled off another upset! It really looked grim for Delirious for the better part of that match, but he turned the tide and scored a pinfall over the big hoss Morishima! History is made in Chicago, Illinois, as Delirious has captured the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Streamers are flying into the ring from all over the arena as the madman holds his belt overhead and sprints around ringside. We have a new champion here in the Heartland and this crowd is thrilled! I was stunned when Delirious pinned FRANK GOTCH, but now I am flabbergasted that he has captured the gold! The city of Chicago will be rocking tonight, no question about it! Fans, we thank you for joining us tonight for this special pay-per-view event. We'll be back on Television Friday night with another edition of Fury. The card for that show is yet to be announced, but be sure to tune in as we will have all the updates after tonight's big matches. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Commissioner Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing out and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #65 Worthen Arena, Muncie, Indiana July 20, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, it is great to be back in the Hooiser state of Indiana! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the campus of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, with an exciting edition of Friday Night Fury! We are on the heels of a very interesting Heartland Havoc pay-per-view, which seems to have raised more questions than it answered. Before we get to our opening contest, we have some special announcements from Heartland Commissioner MARK MADDEN about the card tonight. Mark Madden: Thank you, Lance. First of all, it is my privilege to congratulate DELIRIOUS on winning the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Delirious will defend his title against one of the top four contenders: CHRIS HERO, KENNEDY, MORISHIMA, and CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. We'll start tonight with two qualifying matches leading up to a #1 Contenders' match. We also now have a vacancy in the Midwest Title as a result of Delirious surrendering the belt. The obvious choice as #1 contender is HOMICIDE, who is back in the Heartland. Homicide will have his shot at the title against another contender to be determined tonight. Our main event will be a triple threat match to determine who will face Homicide for the Midwest title. Our three participants will be CARLITO, BRYAN DANIELSON, and STING. We believe that the excitement level in the Heartland has never been higher! So, let's get it on! RICK RUDE (w/ SO CAL VAL) pinned MVP(Referee: Brady Boone) MVP had it going until a failed death jump, when Rude caught him with a boot to the face. Rude took over the momentum and rallied to win it with the Rude Awakening. Lance Russell: An interesting match between two of the more inconsistent performers in the Heartland. Both men have had shots to bring home gold, but these two can just as easily lose a match on any given night. And I cannot honestly say that I have seen where So Cal Val has provided any kind of an advantage to Rude. Not that Rick minds- he seems to be perfectly content to travel with a beautiful woman and spend Claudio's money. As the participants for the next match come to the ring, BRIAN PILLMAN takes the microphone.Pillman: OWEN HART! Get your big Canadian nose in this ring! I am calling you out. You and me have had great success together until that dipstick BRADY BOONE decided to disqualify us in our tag team title match. You and me both know what a load of crap that was! From this point forward, partner, you and me are gonna take care of business. We are not going to be "Owen and Brian" any more. We need a tighter bond and a more connected identity. From now on, you and me are gonna do things the way your daddy taught us- the Calgary way. You and me are now going to be known as the CALGARY FLYERS!Owen: Ummm... sure, Brian, sounds good to me. In fact, I already had some t-shirts printed up! THE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN) defeated MARK & JAY BRISCOE (w/ MR. FUJI)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) After suffering their first loss at Havoc in a controversial disqualification, the team of Owen and Pillman came into tonight's matchup with a renewed sense of determination. The self-proclaimed "Calgary Flyers" controlled the action, first wearing down Jay and then isolating Mark in the ring for a lengthy period. Mark took severe punishment, despite attempts by Jay and by Mr. Fuji to turn the tide. After a diligent battle, Mark could not hang on and Owen pinned him after a flying clothesline from the top rope. Lance Russell: Wow! Pillman really lit the fire under these guys! The Calgary Flyers, as they are now known, are looking sharp and looking for a rematch against the Midnight Express. That will be a tremendous match-up indeed. CHRIS HERO (w/ SO CAL VAL) defeated MR. KENNEDY by disqualification(Referee: Danny Davis) In a very evenly matched and tightly contested match, Hero and Kennedy went at each other for a lengthy bout. Both men appeared to be at the brink of victory at times. Kennedy had two very close near-falls on Hero, only to be thwarted by timely interference from Val. In frustration, Kennedy took the match outside the ring and a violent brawl erupted. After failing to regain control, Danny Davis made a controversial decision and awarded the match to Hero as a result of a disqualification. After the match, a furious Kennedy stormed backstage and slammed his fist into a locker in frustration. He was greeted by his former tag team partner, an equally frustrated MVP.MVP: Listen up, brother! You and me both got problems. We can't be losing matches before intermission. We are two of the top superstars in the Heartland! Kennedy: You got that right, my man. Our first run as a tag team wasn't too successful. But it's obvious that I need somebody to watch my back, and I think a man like you can get the job done! MVP: Damn straight, bro. We especially can't be getting pushed around by that floosy Val and her pretty boys. Let's hook it up! MVP offers a handshake, which Kennedy accepts. The two men exit together and begin to talk strategy.Lance Russell: Well, that is an interesting development, no question. We have seen some great action tonight, and there is more to come after our break. We are scheduled for a special interview by LILLIAN GARCIA, as she will sit down with HOMICIDE to discuss his return to the Heartland. Be sure to check out the Heartland Souvenir Stand while we are away. OWEN HART himself was kind enough to provide a complete selection of Calgary Flyer t-shirts! You can have any color you like, so long as it is black. Be sure and get yours today! ***INTERMISSION***LILLIAN GARCIA appears in the ring. She is joined by HOMICIDE. Both are seated in chairs as Lillian takes the microphone.Lillian: Welcome back fans. Tonight it is my privilege to sit down with HOMICIDE, who has returned to the Heartland after a stint as NWA Junior X-Division Champion. Welcome back, Homicide! Homicide: Tank you vewy mush, Miss Wiwwian. Lillian: You must have mixed feelings, being back so soon after a short stint as X-Division champion. Homicide: I not so happy, Miss Wiwwian, but I gonna take on MISTICO again at da Bash and I gonna bea him! Lillian: So, your championship aspirations are still a motivation? Homicide: Say what? Lillian: Ummm... never mind. Tell me, Homicide, what are you plans for returning to Heartland? Will you be getting back together with LAX? Homicide: You know it, Miss Wiwwian. Me and ma boyz are tight like dat. As Homicide speaks, STING slips into the ring behind him and smacks him across the back with a steel chair. Lillian shrieks and scatters from the ring. Sting winds up for another chair shot on the fallen Homicide, but KONNAN appears in the ring and grabs the chair away from Sting from behind. Homicide gets to his feet, and joins Konnan in a double-team attack on Sting. Sting is beaten down and thrown from the ring, where LAX picks him up and slams his right shoulder into the steel post. Homicide and Konnan embrace, and leave the ring area together, leaving Sting laying.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! It looks like the original LAX is back together! Konnan has just finished rehabbing his injury, and now with Homicide back in the fold, I hate to see what lies in store for the Heartland. I guess the thought of seeing LAX back together was more than Sting could take. He is been uncharacteristically aggressive in this war, but tonight he appears to have made a major tactical error. He is supposed to wrestle in our main event triple threat match tonight, and now it appears that he will be coming into the match at less than 100 percent. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned TAKESHI MORISHIMA(Referee: Danny Davis) In a surprisingly decisive match, Daniels bested Morishima with a variety of aerial and technical manuvers. The giant Japanese never really got it going after Daniels surprised him with a sunset flip early in the match. An awesome flying clothesline from the top turnbuckle stunned Morishima and gave Daniels the opening he needed to connect with the Angel's Wings and score the victory. Lance Russell: Wow! No question about it, Christopher Daniels has returned to form. We'll see him in action next week against CHRIS HERO in the #1 contenders' match for a shot at the Heartland gold! Daniels was unstoppable in his early days with the Heartland, but has had more of a spotty track record recently. Perhaps this opportunity will prove to be pivotal in getting him back to the top of the heap. Now, let's head to our main event triple threat match! MAIN EVENT: NWA MIDWEST CHAMPIONSHIP - TRIPLE THREAT #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH(Referee: Joe Kopasz) BRYAN DANIELSON defeated CARLITO and STING to earn a Midwest Heavyweight Championship match! With Sting clearly less than 100%, Danielson adapted a smart strategy, isolating Carlito to deliver the brunt of the damage. Sting did his best to hang with the opponents, hitting Carlito with a Stinger Splash to add to his misery. Before Sting could follow up, Danielson pitched him aside and nailed the stunned Carlito with a Roaring Elbow and pinned him for the win! Lance Russell: Congratulations to the American Dragon! He will be squaring off against HOMICIDE to determine our next Midwest Heavyweight Champion. That confrontation will take place on Monday Night Adrenaline next week in Indianapolis. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Commissioner Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #66 Hinkle Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana July 23, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's episode of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the campus of Butler University here in Indianapolis. Tonight, we will crown a new Midwest Heavyweight Champion in what promises to be a very competitive match pitting the former champion, HOMICIDE, against the challenger, BRYAN DANIELSON. We will also see the return of KONNAN to competition, and the debut of a new athlete, just signed by promoter Dave Little, who promises to make his presence felt throughout the Heartland! Now, let's go to the ring for our opening contest. As KONNAN waits in the ring, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI appears at the top of the ramp. He is empty-handed, without his usual briefcase, and appears confused. He throws up his hands in disgust and angrily storms the ring, launching into Konnan. BRADY BOONE calls for the bell!CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI pinned KONNAN(Referee: Brady Boone) Claudio came out aggressively, but Konnan stood his ground and did not back down from the initial flurry. The match settled down into a ground-based encounter, with both men exchanging moves and counters. After several minutes of struggling, Claudio finally managed to get Konnan up for a Cough Drop. He followed with the release German suplex and was able to catch a surprise pinfall! Lance Russell: Wow! I don't know where SO CAL VAL is tonight, and it appears that Claudio doen't either. But. if anything, it appeared that Castagnoli was more focused and more decisive in his ring work. He certainly took down a tough opponent tonight. But now, he is headed back to the dressing room without hesitation, ostensibly to find his lost manager. CHRIS HERO pinned IVAN KOLOFF(Referee: Danny Davis) Also without the services of manager Val, Hero stormed in against Koloff and took the veteran by surprise. As soon as he gained the advantage, Hero pitched Ivan out of the ring. As Danny Davis let the action continue, Hero grabbed Koloff by the head and slammed him into the steel ring steps. After hurling Ivan back into the ring, Hero executed a Hero Sandwich and pinned Koloff cleanly. Lance Russell: Good heavens! Both Claudio and Hero were without the services of SO CAL VAL, but both men managed to pull off impressive wins. Hero is moving quickly back to the dressing room, where Claudio has been desperately working his cell phone, trying to locate their missing manager. I hope she is all right, whatever the situation is. TAKESHI MORISHIMA pinned SENSHI (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The giant Japanese superstar simply overpowered Senshi, capitalizing on his 110 pound weight advantage. Senshi mounted a brief rally, but could not put a dent in Morishima. The finish came after Morishima caught his smaller foe with a spinning side slam for the victory. Lance Russell: Indeed, Morishima remains a force to be reckoned with in the Heartland. Already he has been close to the top of the heap and it appears he will stay there. Let's head to intermission now. When we return, we'll have a special interview with STING to discuss his big victory at the Great American Bash. By the way, did you all know that July is National Women's Motorcycle Month? Stop by the Heartland Souvenir Stand while you are away and pay a visit to JAN EMANUEL, the self-proclaimed HARLEY DIVA and editor of REALDIVASRIDE.COM. She'll be signing autographs and showing off her 2002 Harley-Davidson 1200 Custom Sportster for all to see. How could you let that opportunity pass you by? ***INTERMISSION***As we return from the break, Commissioner MARK MADDEN is seated in the ring, where he is joined by STING. Sting has a heavy bandage on his right shoulder. He appears to be in some pain, and is not his usual jovial self. Madden: Sting, welcome back to the Heartland, and congratulations on your big victory over Christian Cage at the Great American Bash. It must have been very fulfilling to put your rival to the mat for the three-count. Sting: I don't know, Mark. My situation seems to be getting worse instead of better. This war with LAX has cost me some of my best friends in the business. SHAWN MICHAELS, SCOTTY STEINER, CHRIS JERICHO, and now NIKITA KOLOFF have all been carried out of here on stretchers... and for what? Madden: Good question, Sting. Not only has your wrestling career gotten bogged down, it seems that your whole life is in a downward spiral. LAX is back together and you have no one to watch your back! It must really suck to be you right now. Sting: It is looking pretty bleak from my point of view, Mark... Madden: My point exactly. And just so you know, Sting, I don't let just anyone call me "Mark". Perhaps there is something I can do to help you get things turned around. Sting: You? You're my boss. I'm here to compete, not to expect any special treatment from the Commissioner. Madden: Not so fast, Sting. I'm not talking about special treatment. I'm offering you a chance to earn your keep How would you like a job working for the Commissioner's office? Sting ponders.Madden: You will be treated with the utmost respect working for me. You're a former Heartland Heavyweight Champion! You deserve the best. And as an added benefit, no more attacks from LAX! Come work for me, heal that shoulder, and get a fresh start on your career. As Sting ponders, the tune "My Sacrifice" by Creed plays on the Hinkle Fieldhouse sound system. IVAN KOLOFF emerges to the cheers of the fans, and makes his way into the ring to join Sting and Madden.Madden: Well, well, well... Ivan Koloff... quite an inauspicious debut you made tonight... so what bring you out to the interview segment? Ivan: Sting, you need to watch yourself very closely and avoid this trouble in your life. I am a Soldier like you, and I know what the Soldiers stand for. Do not sell your soul to this devil! Madden: Hey! Koloff, you keep your mouth shut and keep your nose out of the Commissioner's business. I have eliminated anyone and everyone who has crossed me in the Heartland, and you're about to become the next man on my list! Ivan: Mr. Madden, Sir, I mean you know disrespect. My friend here is a confused man and needs good advice. Now is not the time for Sting to make the wrong decision for his life. "IF YOU SMELLLLLLL-EL-EL-EL-EL-EL-EL.... WHAT THE ROCK.... IS COOKING!"All three men are shocked and turn to face the entry way as the Heartland's newest superstar, THE ROCK, makes his entrance and strides cockily to the ring.Madden: Now wait just one minute! I have had as many interruptions as I can take! Just what on earth are YOU doing here? Rock: Finally... the Rock has come back to Indianapolis!!!! Madden: Listen, pal. I am the Commissioner here, and I asked you a question. I expect an answer from you, and I demand that it be respectful! Rock: Oh... Mr. Commissioner... yes, sir. Please forgive the interruption. What was your name again? Madden: My name is- Rock: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS! The Rock says, enough of this little drama! The Rock came here to kick some ass and the Rock doesn't give a damn about any names! Stinger, the Rock knows what a great reputation you have, and the Rock respects that. But the Rock is scheduled to face the Stinger in this ring right now, so why don't you quit your candy-assed blubbering and get up and do what you do best! The Rock offers Sting a handshake. Still in his seat, still pondering his fate, Sting accepts the handshake. The Rock yanks Sting out of his seat, nearly pulling Sting's injured shoulder out of its socket. Stinger winces as the Rock pulls him by the injured arm and hurls him to the mat! Koloff and Madden rush to grab their chairs and scurry out of the ring as the match commences!THE ROCK pinned STING(Referee: Brady Boone) Sting was slowed noticeably after his grueling match against Christian at the Bash. The Rock pounced like a piranha, torturing Sting repeatedly with the Sharpshooter. Sting fought back gamely, but was no match for the power and the passion of the Rock, who put him away with the Rock Bottom. After the match, the Rock again grabbed Sting injured arm and jerked it roughly as he helped Sting back to his feet. Rock then took Sting by the injured arm and raised his hand into the air in a supposed sign of unity as Sting winced and groaned almost audibly.Lance Russell: Well! I am not sure what to think of all that. The Rock has indeed made a big splash in his debut. Sting may have just made himself a new friend, but if that's how the Rock treats his friends, I hate to see what his enemies are in for! CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned MR. KENNEDY(Referee: Danny Davis) Daniels remained the hottest wrestler in the Heartland, putting aside the flamboyant Kennedy in decisive fashion. Daniels countered Kennedy at every turn, crushing him with a devastating reverse STO. Before Kennedy could recover, Daniels delivered a perfectly executed Angel's Wings to complete the pinfall. Lance Russell: Daniels was unstoppable in that match! As tough and as skilled as Kennedy is, he had no answer for any of the moves which Daniels executed here tonight. Clearly he is gearing himself up for a run at some championship gold. And speaking of gold, the time has come to determine who will be the next individual to lay claim to the gold belt which symbolizes the Midwest Heavyweight Championship. MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, from Aberdeen, Washington, weighing in at 190 pounds, he is the self-proclaimed Best Wrestler in the World, the AMERICAN DRAGON, BRYAN DANIELSON! And his opponent, weighing in at 220 pounds, and hailing from Brooklyn, New York, he is a former Midwest Heavyweight Champion and a former NWA Junior X-Division Champion, representing the Latin-American Exchange, this is HOMICIDE!BRYAN DANIELSON defeated HOMICIDE by submission to win the Midwest Title!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The main event met all expectations as Homicide and Danielson waged an epic war. Homicide tried to induce the Dragon into a brawl, but Danielson kept his head and managed to control the pace of the match. Using a ground-based strategy, Danielson rode Homicide into the ground, wearing him down badly. Danielson put Homicide on the mat with a Roaring Elbow, then locked in the Cattle Mutilation. Homicide struggled and strained, finally getting his foot under the bottom rope. But Danielson was relentless, bringing Homicide back to the center of the ring and again locking in the Cattle Mutilation. Homicide was spent and unable to repeat his escape, and was finally forced to tap out. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a performance! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Champion! BRYAN DANIELSON is now your title holder as he straps the 15 pounds of gold around his waist. The Dragon just captured a hard-fought victory in the title match. His game plan was flawless and he executed it brilliantly. Danielson simply controlled the pace and the flow of that match from the opening bell until the final submission. He has earned the right to call himself a champion! What an outstanding matchup to cap an exciting night of action. Thank you fans, for making the Heartland sizzle! We hope you will come back for more Heartland Wrestling action. The boys will be taking the night off on Friday, as Fury will be pre-empted by a special episode of "Who's the Boss?" featuring TONY DANZA and ALYSSA MILANO. The boys will be making a road trip to Cleveland, where our beloved Promoter DAVE LITTLE will be undergoing a cardiac procedure at the Cleveland Clinic. But rest assured, fans, the NWA Heartland will be back next Monday night with another exciting episode of Adrenaline! Our main event will be a number one contenders' match, with a Heartland Heavyweight Championship match on the line. You will be riveted to your seats as CHRIS HERO squares off against CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! Don't you dare miss it! Until then, fans, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #67 Geater Community Center, Anderson, Indiana July 30, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Anderson, Indiana, on the banks of the White River, with tonight's action. Our main event tonight will determine the identity of the number one contender to the Heartland Heavyweight Championship as CHRIS HERO squares off against CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. We also hope to have an update for you on the whereabouts of SO CAL VAL, who was a no-show at last week's Adrenaline. But first, let's get to the ring and get it started! GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE pinned CHRISTIAN CAGE(Referee: Danny Davis) After a long and tightly contested match, the veteran Valentine finally prevailed after a stunning falling elbow hammer. Lance Russell: Now that was a highly competitive situation. These two men gave it their all tonight, but Valentine prevailed with his strength and his savvy. THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST) defeated LAX (HOMICIDE & KONNAN)(Referee: Brady Boone) Another marathon match saw the return of the original LAX lose a hard-fought but clean battle against the high-flying Airborne. Brady Boone kept tight reins on this match, keeping the action confined to the ring, where LAX was not able to brawl and the Crist Brothers remained grounded. In the end, the superior teamwork of the brothers prevailed and Jake was able to pin Homicide after the Irish Air Raid. Lance Russell: Fine teamwork by the Crist Brothers. These guys think and act as one unit and they are fearless against even the most formidable opponents. That is an excellent victory for the Airborne as they continue to work their way up the ladder. JIMMY JACOBS defeated CARLITO (w/ MELINA) by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) It didn't take long for this match-up to break down as two of the Heartland's most emotional competitors squared off. The action spilled outside of the ring, where Jacobs went ballistic and pummeled Carlito. As Carlito struggled to return to the ring before the 10-count, Melina slipped behind Jacobs and nailed him with a vicious low blow! Joe Kopasz saw the violation and immediately called for the bell. After the match, Carlito jumped on Jacobs and the brawling continued outside of the ring. Melina, still enraged, came after Jacobs with a steel chair, but Jimmy ducked away at the last moment and the chair nailed Carlito! As Carlito went down, Jacobs smartly took a powder and headed for the dressing room as a distraught Melina shrieked and tended to the injured Carlito.Lance Russell: How about that. My heart bleeds for poor Melina! That conniving shrew deserves every bad thing that comes her way, and so does Carlito. Now we truly have something to celebrate as we go to break. We are especially fortunate to have as our guest this evening at the Heartland Souvenir Stand, our returning promoter, DAVE LITTLE! Dave is back after a brief absence, and says he couldn't wait to get back on the road with the fans. So stop by for a handshake and an autograph from the finest fantasy wrestling promoter on the planet! ***INTERMISSION***MARK MADDEN appears at his podium on the top of the stage, flanked by his bodyguard TYSON TOMKO.[/b][/color] Madden: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to tonight's edition of Mark My Words. My guest tonight is one of the most respected and feared men in the history of our sport. He made a surprise appearance last week on Adrenaline, and tonight he has graciously agreed to join me for an interview segment. Please welcome the RUSSIAN BEAR, IVAN KOLOFF!The music of Creed, "My Sacrifice", plays over the speaker system as Koloff moves to the stage and takes a seat across from Madden.Madden: Welcome, Mr. Koloff, to Mark My Words. First of all, let me state that you were one of my childhood idols. I loved to see you beat down BRUNO SAMMARTINO with your steel chain and watch all of Pittsburgh cry! Ivan: Thank you, Mr. Madden, you are a most gracious gentleman. But that was a different era and I am here now in service of a higher calling. I was invited to come here by STING, who asked me to replace my nephew NIKITA as a tag partner in the Soldiers of the Covenant. Madden: Ooooookay. I must admit that this is a vastly different agenda than what I thought would happen when I signed you. Ivan: That may be true, Mr. Madden, sir. But it is also true that I am not the only man here with an agenda. You seem to have your own ideas for Sting, and I do not believe that you have Sting's best interests at heart. I have declined Sting's offer to be his tag team partner. Instead, I have advised him to take time off, heal his shoulder, and more importantly, heal his spirit. Madden: Whatever. My job offer to Sting still stands, and I expect a straight answer from him. And I refuse to let some doddling old washed-up fool to stand in my way. So now, Ivan, let me make YOU an offer- an offer you can't refuse. If you fail to convince Sting to come to work for me in the next 30 days, then you will be FIRED... MARK MY WORDS! Madden slams his microphone down on the podium and storms off the set, followed by Tomko.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Madden has really outdone himself this time. He has now laid it on the feet of Ivan Koloff to deliver the services of Sting, or face a firing! I am disgusted. Let's get back to the ring and see some action. We have a special treat for you now, as we will see the Heartland debut of one of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history! The FABULOUS FREEBIRDS are here and set for action. THE DREAM TEAM (BRUTUS BEEFCAKE & GREG VALENTINE) defeated THE FABULOUS FREEBIRDS (JIMMY GARVIN & MICHAEL HAYES)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The Freebirds certainly made a splash with their arrival, but their in-ring debut was less than stellar. Too much strutting and too little focus proved costly, as Hayes fell victim to a pinfall from Beefcake after Brutus alertly ducked away from the turnbuckle. A charging Hayes crashed headlong into the steel post and was an easy victim for a roll-up. Lance Russell: Well, that is certainly a disappointment but not a shocker. A tough duo like Valentine and Beefcake is certainly not going to lay down for any match, no matter how "bad" the opponents might be. Congratulations to Brutus and the Hammer for pulling that one out. Now, let's head to the main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! But before this contest, I have been asked to read the following statement: "Dear Chris and Claudio, Thanks for so many wonderful memories together. Rick and I have decided to spend our lives together, and we won't be returning to the Heartland. Acapulco is beautiful, wish you were here! Love and kisses, Val."Lance Russell: Good heavens! SO CAL VAL and RICK RUDE ran off together! I always knew Val had a taste for the finer things in life, but I don't see Rick as the type to settle down. Oh well, all our best to the happy couple, and for goodness sakes, can we please get back to WRESTLING? Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match will determine the number one contender to the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, hailing from Metropolis, weighing in at 240 pounds, here is CHRIS HERO! And his opponent comes to us from the City of Angels. He weighs in at 220 pounds and is accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER. He is THE FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS!CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned CHRIS HERO(Referee: Danny Davis) The Fallen Angel continues to dominate the Heartland! Daniels was crisp in his execution tonight, dismantling Hero with efficiency and precision. After taking control with a boot to the head of a charging Hero, Daniels went right to work, pulling out everything in his arsenal to crush Hero before finishing him with the Best Moonsault Ever. Lance Russell: So, Christopher Daniels gets a long-awaited shot at the Heavyweight Title. Can he topple the upstart champion DELIRIOUS? You won't want to miss Friday Night Fury this week when that match takes place! Fans, we thank you so much for joining us here at Adrenaline tonight. We'll be heading to Evansville on Friday night and we certainly hope you will be there when the title is on the line. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Commissioner Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and swaying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #68 Roberts Stadium, Evansville, Indiana August 3, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Evansville, Indiana with tonight's exciting card of action. It's a very special night in Evansville, as tonight we will be treated to the debut of a true legend of the sport, RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT. Our main event tonight will be for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship as the new champ, DELIRIOUS, defends against the winningest wrestler in the Heartland, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. What a great match that should be! Now, let's head to the ring for our opening contest. HOMICIDE pinned AJ STYLES(Referee: Danny Davis) An excellent match with a lot of back-and-forth action. Homicide controlled much of the action with his roughhouse tactics, until AJ drilled him with a springboard crescent kick out of nowhere. But AJ failed to capitalize on the opportunity and the momentum swung back to Homicide, who plastered Styles with a West Brooklyn Lariat to score the pinfall. Lance Russell: What a matchup! Those are two of the most athletic and competitive men in the Heartland, and both men gave it their all in that match. Let's hope the rest of the card brings that much excitement. BRYAN DANIELSON defeated JAY BRISCOE (w/ MR. FUJI) by submission (Non-Title Match)(Referee: Brady Boone) The singles debut of Jay Briscoe proved to be a tall order as he faced off against the newly crowned Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Jay had Danielson backing down initially with his hard-hitting aerial tactics, but Danielson eventually gained control of the pace of the match and slowed things down. The Dragon wore down Briscoe with suplexes and submission holds. Mr. Fuji attempted to interfere, but when he climbed to the ring apron, Danielson sidestepped a charging Briscoe, sending Jay careening into Fuji. Danielson quickly took advantage, rolling Jay into the Cattle Mutilation and forcing him to tap out. Lance Russell: Bryan Danielson is on a roll! He has all the momentum working for him. With his newly won Midwest Championship, I think he will be a tough man to beat! BJ WHITMER (w/ MR. FUJI) pinned JAKE CRIST(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Whitmer came out inspired under his new management and took the fight to Jake. Jake connected on a series of flying manuvers to take control briefly, until Whitmer catapulted off the turnbuckle and blast Crist with a running clothesline. Before Jake could recover, BJ caught him and delivered a powerful Exploder to score the pin. Lance Russell: My, oh my. BJ Whitmer is alive and well and under new management. This guy has the potential to be a sleeping giant in the Heartland, and I think Mr. Fuji will certainly help him to achieve that potential. Let's go to a break now. When we return, we'll have a special segment of "Mark My Words", featuring one of the more controversial personalities in the Heartland. Oh, and MARK MADDEN will also be interviewing a guest... but seriously, folks, be sure and stop at the Heartland Concession Stand while you are away. Summer is here, and it's the perfect time of year for a cool, refreshing snack. Why not try a cold glass of chocolate-flavored Kindercal, a nutritious beverage brought to you by Mead-Johnson, Inc., a subsidiary of Bristol-Myers Squibb with worldwide headquarters right here in Evansville, Indiana! (Pause). Charlie, is the damn camera off? Who writes this crap anyway? ***INTERMISSION***MARK MADDEN appears at the top of the ring ramp, behind his podium, guarded by the watchful eye of TYSON TOMKO. Madden: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the latest edition of Mark My Words. My guest this evening is a man who is just getting started in his Heartland career, and seems to have had some difficulty establishing himself here. Please welcome to the podium, CHRISTIAN CAGE!Christian Cage comes to the podium and casts a glance at Tomko.Christian (to Tomko): Nice suit, dude. Tomko: Thanks, dude. It's nice to work for someone who actually pays me. Madden: Whatever. Christian, tell me what's up? You got your tail kicked by Sting at the Great American Bash, and now your pal HERNANDEZ is on the shelf and probably getting back with the re-united LAX. Where do you go from here? Christian: Well, Madden, you don't need to worry about me. Captain Charisma has a plan, like always. Sting is out of my life, he is a problem for LAX now. I am ready to take my career in a new direction. Tonight, I will be introducing my new tag team partner and we'll have our debut match, right here in beautiful Evansville! Madden: Right here? Tonight? Holy mackerel, Christian, this will be the most excitement that Evansville has seen in the past decade! Who's your partner? Christian stands and raises one arm, pointing to the locker room area.Christian: Ladies and gentlemen... and everyone else residing in Evansville, Indiana... it's time for you to get to your feet, and put your hands together for the hottest new tag team in the Heartland, the CHARISMA CORPS... and allow me to introduce my tag team partner... AJ STYLES!The music "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred plays over the speakers as AJ preens and struts to the podium.<Chirp, chirp>Christian: And now, for the benefit of those of you with flash photography, the Charisma Corps will perform its first-ever public posing session! The arena responds with a rousing round of silence as Madden shakes his head and leaves the podium.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness. If there was ever a time for RICKY STEAMBOAT to make his debut, this is it. Thank heavens that The Dragon is here to give our fans something worth watching. RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT pinned COLT CABANA(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Cabana could barely contain his excitement about facing the legendary Steamboat in his Heartland debut. But Steamboat was all business, quickly dispatching Cabana with a flurry of martial arts moves and finishing him with a flying judo chop. Lance Russell: Well, I guess we've discovered who Steamboat's number one fan in the Heartland is. But the Dragon certainly looks to be in top shape and ready to establish a presence here in the Heartland. It is truly an honor for me to watch one of the true greats of the sport in action. THE CHARISMA CORPS (CHRISTIAN & AJ STYLES) defeated THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI)(Referee: Danny Davis) The desperate Kings came out with both barrels blazing, launching into the new teammates with a fury. AJ took the bulk of the punishment as Hero pounded him mercilessly. AJ ran for cover, ducking out of the ring with Hero in pursuit. The crafty Christian cut off Hero's pursuit, nailing him with a low blow on the concrete floor. Christian then rolled Hero back into the ring, where Styles delivered the Styles Clash and scored the pin. Lance Russell: How about that? The Corps may not have impressed the fans of Evansville with their entrance, but they did manage to get it done in the ring. It's not any ordinary tag team that can come in here and take down the Kings of Wrestling in their debut match together. Of course, the Kings simply haven't been the same since SO CAL VAL ran off with RICK RUDE. Now, let's get to the main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 232 pounds and hailing from the City of Angels! He is accompained to the ring by ALLISON DANGER. He is a former three-time Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Here is THE FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! And his opponent is your reigning and defending NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion. Weighing in at 180 pounds, and hailing from The Edge of Sanity, this is DELIRIOUS!DELIRIOUS pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) to retain the Heartland Heavyweight Title!(Referee: Brady Boone) Both competitors brought their "A" game to this match, and the intensity level was at its peak. Daniels refused to be distracted by the antics of Delirious, and worked effectively against him early in the match. Delirious countered by going to the air, and was able to stun Daniels with an incredible plancha on the ring floor! Several minutes later, Daniels tried to retaliate with a flying Air Juvie, but Delirious sidestepped him and Daniels crashed to the floor. Allison Danger tried to buy time for her man to recover by slapping Delirious, but Brady Boone caught her in the act and ejected her from ringside! Delirious took control at that point, incapacitating Daniels with a barrage of clotheslines to set up the Chemical Imbalance #2 which sealed the victory. Lance Russell: Wow! I didn't think he had it in him... but Delirious is really beginning to prove his mettle as a champion. And for Daniels, it looks like he will go back to the drawing board. He is one of the most talented competitors in the Heartland, but he has never been able to reach out and grab hold of that brass ring. Tonight's controversy involving Allison Danger didn't seem to help is performance either. So, that's all from Evansville tonight. We certainly appreciate you joining us for tonight's episode of Fury. We'll be back on Monday Night with another episode of Adrenaline. I have just been informed that our main event will be a grudge match pitting JIMMY JACOBS against CARLITO. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #69 Convention Center, Frankfurt, KY August 6, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Convention Center here in Frankfurt, Kentucky. We have a great night of action planned for you tonight, highlighted by a double main event! First, we'll see a grudge match pitting CARLITO against his new rival, JIMMY JACOBS. And in our grand finale, we'll see a match to determine which Heartland competitor will vie for the NWA World Championship this Friday night on Fury. In a non-title match, Heartland Heavyweight Champion DELIRIOUS will square off against CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. Now, let's get to the ring for our opening bout. DAVEY RICHARDS pinned CHRISTIAN CAGE(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The debut of the hard-hitting Richards was a success as he overwhelmed and overpowered Christian. After delivering considerable punishment, Richards ended it with a D. R. Driver for the conclusive victory. Lance Russell: That's a fine victory for Davey Richards to get his Heartland career under way. Believe me, fans, this guy delivers some of the hardest strikes in this business, whether with his hands or his feet. And now, let's take a look at the return of NIGEL McGUINESS as he begins his third tour of duty here in the Heartland. JAKE CRIST and NIGEL McGUINESS fought to a double disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) They've been friends. They've been rivals. They have been around the block any number of times. Jake and Nigel went at each other with their usual intensity as Nigel sought to make a splash in his debut. Before long, the action spilled out of the ring in spite of Brady Boone's efforts to maintain control. Jake levelled Nigel on the floor with a spectacular enzuigiri and McGuiness went down hard. Brady Boone called for the bell and disqualified both men. Still scowling, Jake called for a microphone. He hovered over Nigel, got right into his faced, and screamed.Jake: Dang, Nigel, you limey bastard! It's great to have you back! Jake reaches down to give Nigel a hand and help him to his feet. Jake and Nigel embrace.Nigel: Good to be back, mate! But you bloody well better believe I'm not finished with you! Jake: Me either, Spike! Next time we do it NO DISQUALIFICATION! Lance Russell: Indeed, these two have a most unique rivalry. But one thing I must agree with Jake about, it is great to see Nigel back in the Heartland. His lovely wife is a native of this area! Nigel has had a respectable degree of success here, but is also very popular with all the promoters in the NWA and has toured several territories around the country. LAX defeated AUSTIN ARIES & RODERICK STRONG(Referee: Danny Davis) Aries and Strong looked crisp in their return match, but the brawling street tactics of the Latinos were too much. After all four men sustained significant damage, Homicide took over on Roderick and pinned him with Da Cop Killa. Homicide tried, in typical LAX fashion, to continue his aggression after the decision, but Aries came to the rescue and pulled Strong to safety. Lance Russell: Wow! LAX is simply too much for any team in a toe-to-toe brawl. Aries and Strong are formidable, but will have to get better control over the tempo of the match if they expect to compete with the Exchange. At least they had LAX scouted well-enough to avoid the post-match assault and live to fight another day. Now, let's head to intermission. It's One Dollar Hot Dog night here in Frankfurt, so be sure and stop by the Concession Stand. Or, if you are so inclined, you can stop by the Souvenir Stand and get an autograph from none other than TIM CURRY!***INTERMISSION***MARK MADDEN appears at the top of the ring ramp, behind his podium, guarded by the watchful eye of TYSON TOMKO. Madden: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the latest edition of Mark My Words. My guests tonight are the self-proclaimed KINGS OF WRESTLING, CHRIS HERO and CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI. Guys, you have had some success here in the Heartland, but you always seem to come up a little short in the big matches. And to make matters worse, your manager SO CAL VAL has skipped town and run off with RICK RUDE. So, what's next for the Kings of Wrestling? Chris Hero: You know, Mark Madden, me and Claudio are two very angry men right now! We are hungry and we are motivated. We are going to PROVE to the Heartland that we are the BEST tag team in this territory, with or without that stupid broad Val! Claudio (much more subdued): Ummm... Chris... I am afraid I have some bad news. Hero: Dude! Get over it! Val is yesterday's news. We have titles to win! Claudio (head in his hands): Chris... my friend... today I found out... before Val left town, she cleaned out my bank account. All my money, my stocks, my precious metals... everything.... Hero: Dude! No way! I can't believe you let that floozy take advantage of you like that. I thought your assets were protected! Claudio: So did I... I don't know what to say... Hero: I say, screw it. You are on your own now, dipstick. I have my own career and my own problems. Have a nice life, dork. Hero throws down his headset and walks off the stage. Claudio sighs, and meekly exits by himself.Madden: Well, what can I say, folks. When you're rich, you have plenty of friends. But when the money dries up, life can be pretty lonely. Let's get back to action in the ring. TAKESHI MORISHIMA pinned BJ WHITMER (w/ MR. FUJI)(Referee: Danny Davis) In a match highly reminiscent of the opening bout on their ROH pay-per-view, Morishima ran through Whitmer and pinned him easily with a Saito Suplex. Lance Russell: Wow! Morishima is still a man on a mission. He wants Heartland gold and he really doesn't care where it comes from. He clearly is a man of honor, and he holds his countryman Mr. Fuji in the highest contempt for his underhanded actions. Morishima moves on to a #1 contenders match as he angles for the title match against Delirious at Heartland Havoc X! Next we take you to a grudge match- a rematch from a controversial encounter on last week's Adrenaline. A video clip is shown of JIMMY JACOBS fighting against CARLITO. Jacobs is nailed with a low blow by Melina! In the next clip, Melina swings a chair at Jacobs, who ducks away as the chair nails Carlito. The final clip shows an injured Carlito clutching his right leg and being helped from the ring area.JIMMY JACOBS pinned CARLITO (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Brady Boone) Jacobs and Carlito went after each other furiously as Melina shrieked and cheered on her man. But the wounded Carlito just didn't have enough to keep up with the inspired Jacobs, who quickly took control of the match and finished Carlito with the Contra Code. After the match, Jacobs departed from the ring victoriously. Melina came into the ring to console Carlito, who was extremely upset and was favoring his injured shoulder. As Carlito got to his feet, he pointed his finger at Melina and began screaming at her. Carlito pointed at his shoulder and yelled at his manager, who turned to walk away. Carlito used his good arm to grab Melina by the shoulder and spin her around to continue his tirade, and Melina responded by slapping Carlito across the face! Incensed, Carlito angrily slapped Melina! At this, Melina exploded, shrieking at Carlito, jumping on him and pounding with both fists!Carlito fell to the mat as Melina pummeled him. He managed to grab her by the hair and roll over on top, but she continued swinging wildly. Soon, the wrestler and the manager were rolling around on the mat, screaming, pulling hair, and slapping wildly.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Fans, we have a full-on catfight right in the middle of the Heartland ring! Do you believe it? As the brawl continued, Carlito wound up on top of Melina. She cowered helplessly as his eyes widened. Shaking his fists, he stared into the crowd, then back down at Melina. Still seething, he drew back his fist and prepared to slug his helpless manager. Before he could carry out his threat, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI stormed the ring and threw Carlito to the mat! Claudio put the boots to Carlito and forced him to roll out of the ring. Carlito landed on his injured shoulder and grimaced in pain. Claudio tended to Melina, gently helping her back to the locker room as tears streamed down her face.Lance Russell: Well! Claudio certainly saved the day for Melina. Carlito is one volatile personality, and I guess it's no shock that this situation blew up the way it did. Without Claudio being on the scene, things might have turned out much worse. Let's get back to the ring for the main event! MAIN EVENT: WINNER GETS NWA WORLD TITLE MATCHLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is a non-title match, scheduled for one fall, with a sixty-minute time limit. The winner of this match will receive a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Introducing first, weighing in at 232 pounds and hailing from the City of Angels, accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER. He is a former three-time Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Here is THE FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! And his opponent is your reigning NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion. Weighing in at 180 pounds, and hailing from The Edge of Sanity, this is DELIRIOUS!CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned DELIRIOUS(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Daniels refused to be swayed by the antics of Delirious on this occasion. The Fallen Angel waited for Delirious to make his charge, and promptly sidestepped the champion and levelled him with a reverse STO. Before Delirious or the crowd knew what happened, Daniels covered a stunned Delirious and Kopasz delivered the three-count! Lance Russell: Wow! Daniels did not mess around here tonight. He got right down to business and earned his shot at the gold. Congratulations to the Fallen Angel, and best of luck Friday night against Giant Baba for the Heavyweight Championship! What an impressive way to cap off a great night of action. We thank you for joining us from Frankfurt, Kentucky! We'll be back on Friday with the next episode of Fury with the World Title on the line. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #70 Bank of America Arena, Highland Heights, Kentucky August 10, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the campus of Northern Kentucky University with an exciting night of action. It is a very special night here in the Heartland, where we are privileged to host an NWA World Heavyweight Championship match! The renowned champion, GIANT BABA, is here tonight to defend his title against the winningest wrestler in the history of the Heartland, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. It is always an electric moment to see that hallowed strap of leather and gold, and Baba carries it with the utmost dignity. Let's head to the ring for tonight's first matchup! IVAN KOLOFF defeated COLT CABANA by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) Koloff looked a step slow in the early going, and Colt had the big Russian in trouble. But Ivan kicked out of the Colt .45 and took the match out of the ring. Cabana was no match for the brawling of Koloff, who wore him down on the floor and sent him back to the ring. Koloff finished with the Russian Bearhug as Cabana was forced to submit. Lance Russell: A fine performance from Koloff to battle back against Cabana to earn his first victory in the Heartland. And I must say, Cabana has taken some legendary beatings from some of the biggest names in the sport here in recent weeks. MVP (w/ JIM CORNETTE) defeated KONNAN by countout(Referee: Danny Davis) MVP and Konnan battled for nearly 15 minutes in this intense matchup. Danny Davis had his work cut out for him, and nearly lost control of this match as both men took the fight to the floor repeatedly. MVP used the Ballin' Elbow with great effectiveness throughout the match, piling up the fatigue tokens on Konnan. But K-Dog fought back gamely, using a ground-based attack to control long segments of the match. Konnan finally applied the Tequila Sunrise, and MVP was on the verge of tapping out before Jim Cornette distracted the referee, buying MVP time to reach the bottom rope. With both men exhausted, MVP crushed Konnan with a flying cross-body block on the arena floor and Konnan was unable to beat the count back to the ring. Following the match, Konnan took the microphone and called out his partners from LAX. He berated Hernandez and Homicide for failing to have his back. Konnan: "LAX! This ain't over! To survive in the streets, in the jungle, or in the Heartland, we have to be on our game EVERY MINUTE!" Konnan slapped Hernandez across the face, and repeatedly poked Homicide in the chest during his tirade, but neither man offered any resistance to their LAX mentor.Lance Russell: Wow! Konnan is really fired up. He has never been one to take losing lightly. If LAX gets back to their old ways, you can bet that there will be tremendous mayhem afoot in the Heartland. Fans, I have just been informed that there is an altercation taking place in the parking lot! Let's get a camera out there and see what is happening! The scene shifts to the parking lot of the arena, where GREG VALENTINE and BRUTUS BEEFCAKE are stomping on a fallen AJ STYLES. Styles is heard grunting while Valentine growls and curses the Charisma Corps. Styles is virtually defenseless until finally CHRISTIAN CAGE runs to the scene and shoves both Valentine and beefcake away from his partner. The Dream Teamers exit the scene laughing as Christian looks over his injured partner. Christian turns and shoves the cameraman awy from the scene and action cuts back to the arena.Lance Russell: For the life of Pete... what a disgusting act of cowardice. This Dream Team is really getting out of control. First it was RICK RUDE in Canton, and now another parking lot attack against an unsuspecting opponent. I cherish the day when somebody gives those two thugs the beating they deserve. THE DREAM TEAM (GREG VALENTINE & BRUTUS BEEFCAKE) defeated THE CHARISMA CORPS (CHRISTIAN CAGE & AJ STYLES)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) With Styles severely injured, Christian fought this match essentially on his own. Cage wrestled the match of his life, keeping both members of the Dream Team on the defensive. After wearing down Beefcake, Christian hit the Unprettier on Valentine, but Brutus was able to make the save. Valentine came back, punishing Christian with his chops and punches and finally trapping Cage in the figure-4. Styles managed to come in and make the save, but Beefcake also hit the ring and a wild four-way brawl broke out. Valentine capitalized on the situation, nailing Cage with a neckbreaker and getting the pinfall. Lance Russell: Goodness gracious. Well, you gotta hand to Christian. You may not like him, but he was all heart and all guts out there tonight. What a shame to see him go down to the underhanded crap that the Dream Team has pulled. Give me a break! In fact, that sounds like a plan. Let's head out to intermission now. Please be sure to stop off at the Heartland Concession Stand tonight for some special culinary delights. CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI is having a bake sale tonight, hoping to raise enough money to pay his rent. He'll be serving up Swiss chocolate, and hand dipped Swiss cheese-flavored ice cream cones. I sure hope things turn around for the poor guy. ***INTERMISSION***NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHHOMICIDE pinned CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI(Referee: Brady Boone) In a controversial match, Homicide outslugged Claudio and moved on to the #1 contenders' match. Early in the contest, the usually reliable Brady Boone was knocked to the floor by Claudio during an attempted deathjump. With Boone down, Claudio dominated Homicide, battering him from pillar to post. On several occasions, it looked like Homicide was finished, but there was no referee present to render a decision. Finally, Boone recovered and rejoined the match, but not quickly enough to catch Homicide slamming Claudio facefirst onto the steel ring steps. At that point, Castagnoli was easy pickings and Homicide planted him with Da Cop Killa and scored the victory. After the match, Homicide continued to pound on Claudio. The Swiss grappler tried his best to fight back, but soon HERNANDEZ and KONNAN hit the ring and jumped Claudio viciously. Claudio rolled out of the ring in an attempt to escape, but LAX was relentless and continued the attack on the arena floor. Just as it appeared that Claudio was unable to fight back, IVAN KOLOFF charged into the fracas and took up the battle against the Latinos! Ivan held his own, but soon fell prey to the numbers game and was knocked to his knees. At that moment, STING dashed down the ramp and dove into the fray! With the sides now at even strength, LAX took the opportunity to retreat and head back to the dressing room. All three of the gangstas stood at the top of the ramp, flashing hand signs and screaming in Spanish as Sting and Ivan helped Claudio get back to his feet. As LAX left the stage, MARK MADDEN appeared from behind the curtain, microphone in hand.Madden: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Sorry to interrupt your happy little reunion there, boys, but lest we forget, there is still the matter of my job offer for you, Sting. Uncle Ivan, the clock is ticking. Your fate is now in the hands of the goofy-looking painted up freak in the neon green tights. If Stinger is not working for me at the end of your 30 days, Ivan, you will be FIRED... Mark My Words! Sting appears enraged at the words of Mark Madden, but Ivan calmly puts his arm around Sting, speaking quietly to him as they leave the ring area.Lance Russell: Fans, I don't know what to say. Ever since his promotion, Madden has become drunk with his own power and authority. How many men will have to pay the price before Madden is stopped? This is a very disturbing situation. Let's get back to the ring and see our main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! This match is scheduled for one fall, with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 232 pounds and hailing from the City of Angels, accompanied to the ring by ALLISON DANGER. He is a former three-time Midwest Heavyweight Champion. Here is THE FALLEN ANGEL, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! And his opponent is your reigning and defending NWA Heavyweight Champion of the World! He stands at a towering six feet, ten inches, and weighs in at 298 pounds. From Sanjo, Niigata, Japan, here is SHOHEI "THE GIANT" BABA!GIANT BABA pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS to retain the NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Baba showed the world why he is the champion, overpowering Daniels and successfully keeping his title despite a hard-fought battle. Daniels came at the Giant from all angles, but was unable to solve the big man. At one point, Daniels delivered a charging high knee which seemed to stun the champion momentarily, but Baba quickly turned the tables and chopped Daniels to the mat. Baba then surprised the Heartland crowd by delivering a powerful deathjump to a prone Daniels. The Angel was able to kick out from the big leg drop, but Baba followed up with the Neckbreaker Drop and it was all over for the valiant challenger. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What an awesome champion we have! Baba is a great warrior who represents our Alliance very well. Congratulations to the big fella for an outstanding title defense. Christopher Daniels was simply no match for the Giant on this evening. I gotta hand to Daniels for giving an excellent effort, and as I know him, he will be back in the gym tomorrow jsut as determined as ever to improve his game. But for tonight, it is all about the champion, Giant Baba, as he celebrates his victory and receives a sincere handshake from Daniels. What a great competitor! Fans, we do thank you so much for joining us here at Friday Night Fury. We'll be back Monday with our next broadcast from Pikeville, Kentucky. Be sure to join us for a great night of action, including a championship main event! The Midwest Heavyweight Title will be on the line as the champion, BRYAN DANIELSON, defends the belt against CHRIS HERO. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #71 Exposition Center, Pikeville, Kentucky August 13, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the brand new Eastern Kentucky Exposition Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. We have an exciting night of action in store for you tonight! Our main event tonight will be a title match for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship as THE AMERICAN DRAGON, BRYAN DANIELSON, defends his title against CHRIS HERO! We'll also have a special interview segment with STING, for the first time since the job offer- and the ultimatum- from COMMISSIONER MARK MADDEN. This I gotta hear! Now, let's head to the ring for our opening contest. JAY BRISCOE (w/ MR. FUJI) pinned CARLITO (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Observers were stunned to see Melina accompanying Carlito to ringside after the falling out they had at last week's episode of Adrenaline. Carlito wrestled with his leg heavily taped, and was no match for the agile Briscoe. Jay dominated the match and won convincingly with the Falcon Arrow. Following the match, Carlito took the microphone and again berated Melina.Carlito: You stinking floozy! I can barely walk, let alone wrestle! This is all your fault. You're fired! Melina: You can't fire me! I QUIT! Melina walked out of the ring area, leaving Carlito to hobble out to the locker room alone.Lance Russell: Wow! Things for Melina and Carlito have certainly been on the decline. It's no surprise that their association has ended. Let's see if she has any better luck with her crown jewel, BATISTA.RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT defeated BATISTA (w/ MELINA) by disqualification(Referee: Danny Davis) Steamboat and Batista had a competitive match going, with the advantage going back and forth between high-speed flurries from Steamboat and power moves from Batista. Steamboat gained an advantage, catching Batista off the ropes with a body tackle and going to the top rope for a cross-body block. Batista kicked out, but Steamboat went back to the top turnbuckle and Melina shoved him to the mat. Unfortunately, Danny Davis saw the entire move and called for the disqualification. Disgusted, Batista took the mike.Batista: Melina, I have had ENOUGH! You have screwed up for the last time! It's bad enough that you have gotten Carlito hurt, now you're costing me matches, too! Hit the bricks, toots, YOU'RE FIRED! Melina: Fine! You and your dork friend Carlito don't deserve a classy lady like me. But just you wait, you muscle-bound freak- I will be back- and I will put together the most powerful stable in the Heartland. You will be sorry! Batista rolls his eyes, drops the microphone, and offers a handshake to Steamboat as he leaves the ring area.Lance Russell: Good heavens! Things for Melina have just gone from bad to worse. She has been left completely out in the cold! She has just informed us that she will be putting together a new stable. I have no idea where she is bluffing or if she has bigger plans. It will be very interesting to see what develops next. THE ROCK defeated GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) The Rock brought his usual flair against the rugged intensity of the Hammer. Valentine roughed up the Rock a good bit, but Rock turned the tables and surprised the Hammer with a figure-four leglock in the center of the ring! After a brief struggle, Valentine was unable to escape and was forced to tap out. Lance Russell: The Rock is looking dominant here in the Heartland since his debut. He has put aside the competition, but he has not given us any indication of his objective for being here. One thing I will say, no title is safe with the Rock in the picture. All right, fans, let's head to a break now. Be sure and stop off at the Heartland Souvenir Stand while you are away. Tonight we have plenty of memorabilia on hand as Pikeville welcomes the CBA's newest franchise, the East Kentucky Miners! The Miners will be opening their season right here in this very building! Miners owner and former NFL quarterback JAY FIEDLER is on hand to sign autographs, so stop be and say hello! ***INTERMISSION***MARK MADDEN appears at the top of the ring ramp, behind his podium, accompanied by his bodyguard TYSON TOMKO. STING sits sullenly in a chair beside the podium.Madden: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to the latest edition of Mark My Words. Tonight, we are glad to have another conversation with STING! As I am sure you know, Sting has a job offer on the table to go to work for the Heartland front office. And I must say, this is a very generous offer, especially considering how limited your options are. Let's face it, Sting, your career has hit the skids. You are a broken man. Every ally you had is gone and LAX is stronger than ever. If you don't join with me, I doubt that you will survive. Sting: Mr. Madden... don't ever underestimate the power of a Soldier. Madden: Is that so? Well, Mister Army of One, there is no one who can protect you from the three members of LAX. You must realize, I am the only thing between you and an ambulance ride! The music of Creed, "My Sacrifice", fills the arena as IVAN KOLOFF strides to the podium.Madden: Ivan Koloff? Tell me you are here to talk some sense into this man. And remember, your career depends on it! Ivan Koloff: Mr. Madden, with all due respect, sir, Sting is correct. The Soldiers will not surrender and the Soldiers will not abandon our mission. If we go down, we will go down in the ring, with our heads held high and our dignity intact. Madden: Don't push your luck, old-timer. You just might find yourself going down for the final time. Ivan Koloff: Your threats do not intimidate me, sir. Madden: Is that so? You seem to forget that I hold all the cards here. One word from me and you're history. Sting leaps from his seat and grabs Koloff's microphone.Sting: YYEEOOWW!! Mark Madden, Ivan Koloff, I have heard enough!! You are right, Madden, there is only one way to settle this- IN THE RING! Heartland Havoc X - Wargames style! Madden, you get LAX out here - all three of them - and that weasel Christian too. Me and my Soldiers will end this feud once and for all! Madden (laughing): Let me get this straight. You and Uncle Ivan are going to take on LAX and Christian- in a wargames match? Sting: You got it, daddy-oh! Four on four. By Havoc, we will have four Soldiers ready to make our stand in that ring. If we lose, I will sign your contract and do your dirty work. BUT - if we win - YOU will take a hike! Madden appears shocked.Madden: Whoa - let's not let this get out of hand, Sting. Sting: What's wrong, Madden? Are you scared? Afraid your boys can't get the job done in a fair fight? Madden (scowling): You must be kidding. Me? Scared? Never in a million years. Go find yourself some partners, Stinger - you got yourself a match! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Fans, I do not believe what I have just heard! Heartland will see its first-ever War Games match! The stakes could not be higher. The career of Sting against the career of Mark Madden! But who will be the men to step up and team with Sting and Ivan? Sting has one week to get his partners lined up and his future is at stake. THE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN) defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST)(Referee: Brady Boone) With a #1 contenders' match on the line, both teams went all out in search of victory. After a high-speed opening flurry, the Airborne took control when Pillman missed an attempted plancha outside of the ring. The Airborne hit the Irish Air Raid and Pillman was in big trouble, but Owen made the save. Pillman finally managed to tag in a fresh Hart, who went to work on Dave Crist and pinned him after a crushing Tombstone Piledriver. Lance Russell: The Calgary Flyers continue to roll! These guys have already come within a whisker of the Heartland Tag titles and now they are knocking on the door once again. They will be headed to a showdown with THE DREAM TEAM with another title shot on the line! Now, let's head to the main event. MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, the challenger, from Metropolis, weighing in at 232 pounds, here is CHRIS HERO! And his opponent, hailing from Aberdeen, Washington, at 190 pounds, he is your reigning and defending Midwest Heavyweight Champion, THE AMERICAN DRAGON, BRYAN DANIELSON!BRYAN DANIELSON defeated CHRIS HERO by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) In a competitive match, Hero and Danielson took to the mats in a technical bout featuring many reversals and submission manuvers. Danielson seized an opening, clobbering Hero with a roaring elbow and rolling him into the Cattle Mutilation to earn a tapout victory. Lance Russell: How about that! Danielson looked terrific in his title defense with a convincing win over a tough challenger. It has certainly been an exciting evening here in Pikeville. I am still at a loss for words about the situation between STING and MARK MADDEN. Who will step up to join the Soldiers at Havoc X? Be sure to come back to join us on Friday night for a special episode of Fury! Our main event will be for the NWA World Tag Team Championships as THE ELIMINATORS will be on hand to defend the belts against THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Mark Madden and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #72 Diddle Arena, Bowling Green, Kentucky August 17, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Bowling Green, Kentucky, at the E.A. Diddle Arena on the campus of Western Kentucky University. It is a big night here in the Heartland as we bring you the final television broadcast before the upcoming Havoc pay-per-view. There are a lot of questions to be answered tonight. Who will challenge JUSHIN LIGER for the NWA Junior X-Division Championship? Who will face DELIRIOUS at Havoc for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship? Who will team with STING and IVAN KOLOFF in their showdown against LAX? It is a suspenseful night here in Bowling Green, and the tension is so thick you could cut it with a foreign object. And, lest we forget, our main event tonight will be an NWA World Tag Team Championship match as THE ELIMINATORS are here to defend the titles against our own MIDNIGHT EXPRESS. Now, let's head to the ring for our opening contest! BRYAN DANIELSON pinned JIMMY JACOBS(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In a non-title match, Danielson dueled Jimmy Jacobs and dominated the contest with his technical and submission tactics. Jacobs showed great heart, fighting through numerous predicaments and hitting several flurries to keep the match competitive. As the match wore on, COLT CABANA came to the ring and took a seat, accompanied by LACEY. Jacobs was immediately taken aback at the sight of his former valet, and Danielson took advantage of the distraction to deliver a Northern Lights Suplex and score the pinfall. Following the match, an enraged Jacobs went after Cabana at ringside! Lacey tried to get control of the situation, but was knocked to the floor. NIGEL McGUINESS dashed to the ring area and managed to separate the rivals. As Nigel hauled Cabana up the ring ramp, Jacobs rushed to the side of Lacey and helped her to her feet. Lacey looked at Jacobs and burst into tears, and ran back to the dressing room as Jacobs stood bewildered.Lance Russell: Goodness gracious! That woman has been in the Heartland for 15 minutes and she is already stringing guys along. You can guarantee it- nothing good will come out of this situation. But tonight, there are larger issues to be settled. IVAN KOLOFF and STING are going to be in action in their final match together before the War Games showdown with LAX at Havoc. Before their match against THE BRISCOE BROTHERS, let's recap the events of the past few weeks. A video package is displayed, highlighting the ongoing hostilities between Sting and LAX. Numerous injuries to SHAWN MICHAELS, SCOTTY STEINER and NIKITA KOLOFF are featured. Scenes of KONNAN and HERNANDEZ suffering war wounds are interspersed. The package continues with the reuniting of LAX while Sting stands alone. UNCLE IVAN arrives... MARK MADDEN offers Sting a job... and Sting explodes, challenging LAX to the final confrontation in the War Games match. The last confrontation in Highland Heights is replayed as Sting and Ivan save the defeated CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI from a beating at the hands of LAX.THE SOLDIERS OF THE COVENANT (IVAN KOLOFF & STING) defeated THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ MR. FUJI)(Referee: Danny Davis) In a lengthy struggle, the Soldiers brought out everything in their arsenal to overcome the Briscoes. Ivan was a force in this match, surprising the fans with the frequent use of his steel chain. Danny Davis let things go, and even Mr. Fuji was unable to turn the tide. After waylaying Mark with the chain outside the ring, Ivan rolled Mark into the ring and applied the Russian Bearhug. Mark was already out on his feet and the submission was a mere formality. After the match, Ivan took the microphone.Ivan: Sting- you know I am with you and I support you. But this is a dangerous place you are going and you need to be prepared. This is WAR. Tonight you have seen me more vicious than before, because I am ready. Mark Briscoe, tonight you were the wrong man in the wrong place at the wrong time. You are collateral damage. It was regrettable but I offer no apology. It is a desperate time and we are desperate men. And tonight I am calling out another desperate man to join with us in our fight. This man has lost his fortune... his manager... and his tag team partner. He is just the kind of desperate man we need to fight with us. Claudio Castagnoli- I am calling you out. Come join with us! The music plays and Claudio makes his way to the ring. He shakes the hands of Sting and Ivan and the trio leaves together.Lance Russell: Well! It looks like Uncle Ivan is making progress. He is a brilliant and devious man, but he is still one guy short of filling his team for the War Games. Who will be the fourth? Let's go back to the ring for our #1 contenders match. The winner of this bout gets a title match with DELIRIOUS!NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHHOMICIDE and TAKESHI MORISHIMA battled to a double-DQ(Referee: Brady Boone) Two of the most intense competitors in the Heartland engaged in an all-out war with a title match on the line. Homicide brought his "A" game and managed to keep the huge Morishima on the defensive for most of the match. But Homicide was unable to finish off Morishima, even after an earth-shattering West Brooklyn Lariat. Morishima powered his way back into the match, levelling Homicide with a powerful boot to the face. Morishima followed with a Saito Suplex, but Homicide kicked out. Homicide pitched Morishima out to the ring floor, where a violent brawl erupted! Brady Boone tried desperately to restore order, but was unable to do so. Boone was forced to disqualify both men and throw the match out. Despite Boone's best efforts, the brawl continued to escalate. Never one to back down from a brawl, Morishima overpowered Homicide and slammed him into the security railing on the arena floor. This immediately drew the ire of LAX, and HERNANDEZ and KONNAN charged the ring. Morishima held his own against the attackers, and soon enough IVAN KOLOFF, STING, and CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI dashed to the ring and joined the fracas. With the numbers now against them, LAX retreated as the Soldiers united in the ring. But out of nowhere, CHRISTIAN CAGE appeared and drilled sting across the back with a steel chair! Christian dropped the chair and scurried away before the remaining Soldiers could exact their revenge. As Sting got to his feet, Morishima took the microphone. Pointing and gesturing at the locker room, he shouted loudly in Japanese. Then he pointed to the remaining Soldiers and then to the sky before he finally shook the hand of Ivan Koloff.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Fans, it looks like the Soldiers have found their fourth man for the War Games match! And what a man they have discovered! This Morishima is a beast. Suddenly it appears that the tide has turned in favor of the Soldiers. LAX may have just bitten off more than they can chew, and better yet, you can believe that MARK MADDEN is squirming in his seat as well. I don't believe what I just saw! Fans, this is a great time to take a break. This may be a bit premature, but the Heartland Souvenir Stand has a special on Sting memorabilia. I guess they thought we were about to see the last of the Stinger, but now I am not so sure. In any event, we've got T-shirts, we've got DVD's, we've got glossies. You name it, you can get your hands on it at the Souvenir Stand. ***INTERMISSION***During the break, stage hands set up the podium for the "Mark My Words" segment, but MARK MADDEN failed to appear. The cameras cut away to Madden's office, where confusion and tension prevailed as Madden, Konnan, Homicide, Christian, and Hernandez shouted and screamed and entered full panic mode at the announcement that Morishima would be the fourth participant in the War Games match.TRIPLE THREAT JUNIOR-X MATCHNIGEL McGUINESS defeated DAVEY RICHARDS and BJ WHITMER to earn a title shot!(Referee: Brady Boone) In a highly entertaining and see-saw battle, Nigel McGuiness overcame an early barrage to capture the victory and earn the Junior X-Division title match at Havoc X. At the onset of the contest, McGuiness found himself on the receiving end of a brutal double-team by his foes as Whitmer nailed a frog splash and Richards followed with a pair of DR Drivers. But Nigel kicked out and the match continued. McGuiness went to work on Whitmer, wearing him down and hitting the Tower of London, forcing Richards to make the save. Nigel kept his cool, pitching Richards out of the ring and executing a beautiful cross-arm breaker on Whitmer to earn the victory. Lance Russell: What a match! Nigel McGuiness is back, and he has picked up right where he left off. He took a pounding in that match, but he took advantage of a situation and now he is headed to Havoc to face JUSHIN LIGER for the X-Division World Title! Now let's head to the main event. MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with NO time limit. This match is for the NWA World Tag Team Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challengers, a team which holds the distinction of carrying both the NWA Heartland and the NWA Motor City Tag Team championships. They are accompanied to the ring by manager JIM CORNETTE. They are BEAUTIFUL BOBBY EATON and SWEET STAN LANE, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS! And their opponents are your reigning and defending NWA World Tag Team Champions- PERRY SATURN and JOHN KRONUS- THE ELIMINATORS!THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) defeated THE ELIMINATORS by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The Midnights and the Eliminators hooked up in a classic tag team showdown with the World Titles on the line. Both teams executed smoothly and tagged out frequently. The Midnights caught the first break of the match when Eaton got the best of Kronus outside of the ring, and Lane quickly went up to execute a Veg-O-Matic for a two-count. Kronus made the desperation tag to Saturn, who proceeded to pitch Eaton over the top rope and get his team disqualified. Lance Russell: What a travesty! By all rights, the Midnights had that match won. They SHOULD be the new World Tag Team Champions! But in the NWA, to win a title you have to beat the champion without dispute. So, the Eliminators will go on to fight another day. I am disgusted! In any event, fans, it has been an exciting night here at Fury, and the pay-per-view should be something spectacular. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

Heartland Havoc X Rupp Arena, Lexington, Kentucky August 20, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Heartland Havoc X ! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, with an exciting night of action as NWA Heartland proudly presents its tenth pay-per-view spectacular! We will have two title matches tonight, but the bout that has everyone buzzing is the War Games show down which will pit the members of LAX, together with CHRISTIAN, against STING and his makeshift team of Soldiers, including IVAN KOLOFF, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI, and TAKESHI MORISHIMA. As you know, the stipulations of this match could not be higher! If the Soldiers lose, Sting will be forced to work for Commisioner Mark Madden, and Ivan Koloff will be fired! But, if LAX loses, Mark Madden will lose his job as Heartland Commissioner. What a pressure-packed situation! Lance Russell: But, before we get to the War Games, there are other issues to be resolved. Let's go to MARK MADDEN for a special announcement. Madden: Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for joining us here tonight for Havoc X. As promised, DELIRIOUS will be defending his Heartland Heavyweight Championship tonight. But as of now, we do not have a #1 contender! As a result of the double-disqualification between HOMICIDE and TAKESHI MORISHIMA, the #1 Contender position is presently vacant. So, in tonight's opening bout, we will hold a 10-man, over-the-top-rope battle royal to determine who will face Delirious for the Championship tonight. Let's get it started! HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS' BATTLE ROYALCARLITO was eliminated by CHRIS HEROJIMMY JACOBS was eliminated by MVPTHE ROCK was eliminated by BRYAN DANIELSONBATISTA was eliminated by CHRIS HEROMVP was eliminated by CHRIS HEROBJ WHITMER was eliminated by RICKY STEAMBOATRICKY STEAMBOAT was eliminated by CHRIS HEROCHRISTOPHER DANIELS was eliminated by BRYAN DANIELSONCHRIS HERO eliminated BRYAN DANIELSONLance Russell: Wow! What a performance by Chris Hero! He dominated that battle royal with five eliminations! He was especially impressive in outfoxing Danielson. That last move was something special as Hero slipped out of a Northern Lights Suplex and put Danielson down with a reverse DDT. He will move on to the Heartland Heavyweight Championship match tonight against DELIRIOUS in what should be a fine contest! NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHTHE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN) defeated THE DREAM TEAM (BRUTUS BEEFCAKE & GREG VALENTINE)(Referee: Danny Davis) Owen was the dominant force in this match. The Flyers isolated Beefcake and Owen took him apart! After torturing Brutus with the Sharpshooter, Owen went to the top rope and levelled Beefcake with a Missile Dropkick and pinned him as Pillman held Valentine at bay. Lance Russell: What a performance! Owen and Pillman are headed for another showdown with the Midnight Express, and I, for one, can't wait! The Flyers are breathing down the necks of Cornette and his Midnights yet again. This is becoming quite the competitive rivalry! Now, let's go back to the ring for our first title match of the evening! WORLD JUNIOR X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPNIGEL McGUINESS pinned JUSHIN "THUNDER" LIGER to win the X-DIVISION TITLE!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Liger was completely overwhelmed and mounted very little offense against the athletic Brit. Nigel took control early on, ducking a running clothesline and catching the champion with a reverse neckbreaker. Nigel proceeded to dominate the champion with an impressive array of submission moves, piling up fatigue tokens with a pair of Guvnor's Crumpets and a Tower of London. Liger took a lot of punishment, kicking out of several near-falls before a crushing DDT from Nigel put him away. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new NWA Junior X-Division Champion! History made here in Lexington as Nigel McGuiness has captured the gold! He has worked his way up the ladder and taken advantage of his opportunity to become the top dog in the X-Division! Congratulations on an outstanding performance. And now, fans, we'll we take you to intermission. We invite you to join us at the Heartland Concession Stand for a delicious Wildcat Wiener! They're hot and tasty and only $4.00 each. Don't you dare miss it! ***INTERMISSION***NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Brady Boone. Introducing first, the challenger weighing in at 232 pounds, from Metropolis, this is CHRIS HERO! And his opponent, from the Edge of Sanity, at 190 pounds, he is your reigning and defending NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion, this is DELIRIOUS!DELIRIOUS defeated CHRIS HERO by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) The champion looked impressive in turning back the challenge from Hero. Hero had Delirious on the defensive with early power moves, but the champ slipped out of an attempted choke slam and sent him careening into the turnbuckle. Delirious then delivered 26 clotheslines to his helpless foe, then trapped him in a well-executed Cobra Stretch in the center of the ring. After a brief struggle, Hero was unable to break free and was forced to tap out. Lance Russell: What a match! This character Delirious keeps finding ways to win and keeps holding on to his title. Who would have thought he would still me the king of the mountain? We'll see who will be the next competitor to step up and try to solve this most unorthodox champion. All right, folks, now we have the final confrontation which has been brewing for months. The man called Sting leads his makeshift crew of Soldiers into war against the most destructive force the Heartland has ever seen, the Latin-American Exchange. Everything is at stake here tonight! If Sting and his Soldiers are defeated, then Ivan Koloff is fired from the Heartland and Sting will be forced to work for Mark Madden. But, if Sting and his crew wins the match, Mark Madden will resign from his duties as Commissioner and leave the Heartland. It all comes down to this one match, folks, so let's get to the ring and get this issue solved once and for all! MAIN EVENT: WAR GAMES: LAX & CHRISTIAN vs. STING, IVAN KOLOFF, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI & TAKESHI MORISHIMASTING pinned CHRISTIAN CAGE to win War Games! The members of LAX knew they were in trouble when they lost the opening coin flip. Despite his protests, CHRISTIAN was sent into the ring to open the match against Ivan Koloff. After an even exchange, Koloff took control and pummelled Christian badly. Using powerful slams and the Russian Bear Hug, Ivan severely weakened Christian. MORISHIMA was the next man in, and the beating continued. When KONNAN finally entered for his team, Christian had almost nothing left in his tank and Konnan was left to fend for himself. Konnan held his own, doing some damage to Koloff until STING entered. Sting immediately came after Christian as Morishima and Koloff held off Konnan. Stinger hit the Splash and Christian was down and out in the corner when HOMICIDE entered. Homicide turned the tide for his team, hitting a double clothesline on Sting and Koloff. But Morishima took over on Konnan with a series of Saito Suplexes, and the Soldiers remained in firm control of the match as their final man, CLAUDIO, hit the ring. Claudio dueled with Homicide, as Ivan came over to lend a hand. Homicide responded with a monster Shining Wizard which nearly decapitated Koloff. Morishima continued to dominate Konnan when HERNANDEZ finally hit the ring. The LAX members made every effort to keep in the match and keep the Soldiers away from the downed Christian. Homicide hit Da Cop Killa on Koloff to put him onto the canvas. Finally, Sting was able to break through the LAX line of defense and get his hands on Christian. With the remaining combatants brawling, Sting nailed Christian with a running facecrusher and it was all over! Lance Russell: It's over! Sting and the Soldiers have toppled LAX! After months of this bloody feud, the Stinger has finally prevailed. Mark Madden is beside himself, but his days as Heartland Commissioner are over. Sayonara, big fella! But it looks like Madden is not the only casualty of this war. Christian Cage is a bloody mess, and he hasn't moved since Sting put him down with that running facecrusher. Both Konnan and Homicide appear to need some assistance in getting out of the cage. Claudio Castagnoli also appears to be hurting. But all in all, the mood here in Lexington is one of happiness as the Soldiers have triumphed and Havoc X is in the books. Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for joining us for this monumental night. We hope you will be back on Friday Night for the next episode of Fury as we begin to sort through the fallout from this climactic match. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and the now-deposed Commissioner Mark Madden, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #73 County Events Center, Lebanon, TN August 24, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition for Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the County Events Center in Lebanon, Tennessee with an exciting night of action. Havoc X is in the books, but the fallout has only just begun! As you all know, as the result of his team losing the War Games match at Havoc, MARK MADDEN has been relieved of his duties as Heartland Commissioner! In my humble opinion, that move was long overdue. The big surprise, however, came from the Heartland Championship Committee today, as they have appointed a new Commissioner! Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the new head man of the Heartland, IVAN KOLOFF!Ivan Koloff: Thank you, Mr. Russell, I am honored to be the new Commissioner. It is my desire to return the honor to the Heartland. For too long the office of the Commissioner has been used for personal vendettas and grudges. This is no longer acceptible! Too many deserving and hard-working athletes have been unfairly treated, fired, and even injured by the actions of our last Commissioner. My first act as your new leader will be to restore the career of an unfairly treated professional. I am officially reinstating HEATHER OWENS as a Heartland referee! Heather Owens is seated in the crowd. Appearing shocked and surprised, she runs to the podium as the fans cheer for the deposed former referee. She then disappears into the locker room and appears again in her referee shirt, calling for the bell as the fans continue to cheer.BOBO BRAZIL defeated JAY BRISCOE (w/ MR. FUJI) by DQ(Referee: Heather Owens) Big Bobo dominated his debut match against Jay Briscoe. Only the assistance of Mr Fuji, and frequent forays out of the ring, kept Jay alive in this match as Bobo dealt out the punishment. When Jay slammed Brazil headfirst into the steel ring steps, Heather had seen enough and called for the disqualification. After the decision, Fuji tried to control the enraged Jay, but Jay broke free and shoved Heather to the floor. COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF immediately came to ringside and grabbed Briscoe by the ear, dragging him to the podium.Commissioner Koloff: BRISCOE! How dare you lay hands on a Heartland Official! This is exactly the behavior which we will no longer tolerate in the Heartland. You are now SUSPENDED for the next two weeks! Lance Russell: Wow! Ivan Koloff is making his presence felt right from the start! I am most impressed by the take-charge attitude of our new Commissioner. I have a feeling that the Heartland is about to see some of our greatest action ever with Ivan in control. JUSHIN "THUNDER" LIGER pinned GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE(Referee: Danny Davis) In his Heartland debut, Liger dazzled the fans and stunned the Hammer. After a few exchanges, Liger exploded off the ropes with an incredible flying cross-body block and recorded a quick three-count against the startled Hammer to bring home the victory! Lance Russell: What a fine opening performance by Liger. I know he must be terribly disappointed about his loss to NIGEL MCGUINESS for the X-Division Championship. Tonight he got back to the top of his game and has a rematch with Nigel to look forward to. That should be an outstanding confrontation! JAKE CRIST defeated BRENT ALBRIGHT by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Albright came to the ring filled with confidence, and took the early edge against Jake Crist. But Jake played to his strength and took to the air, unleashing a flurry of spectacular aerial moves to put Albright on the defensive. Albright took a powder, and Jake didn't hesitate to deliver a crushing suicide tope, followed by a breath-taking corkscrew pescado to flatten Albright onto the floor. A violent brawl ensued, and Albright refused to heed Kopasz' instructions to return to the ring. Kopasz disqualified Albright, but the brawling continued. As Jake and Albright brawled, JIMMY RAVE dashed to the ring area and helped Albright, pummeling Jake. DAVE CRIST sprinted in from the locker room to make the save. All four men brawled all over the ring and the floor, until RENE GOULET and his Elite Security Forces came to save the day. The combatants were separated and ushered back to the dressing room. Commissioner Koloff: Enough! Enough! You boys want to fight? I declare a no-disqualification tag team match for this Monday night at Adrenaline. This is the new Heartland- we settle our business in the ring like men! Lance Russell: Hear, hear! Commissioner Koloff has it exactly right! We'll see Rave and Albright take on the Crist Brothers on Monday night and I can't wait! Wow, it sure is great to have a no-nonsense, take-charge commissioner at the helm. I could not be more favorably impressed. Let's head to intermission, fans. We have a VERY special guest signing autographs at the Heartland Souvenir Stand. Earlier tonight, this budding superstar took a slant pass and ran 65 yards on the game's final play to score the winning touchdown with no time remaining! Stop by and say hello to the Beavercreek Great White Star of the Game, CHRIS "FLASH" LITTLE!***INTERMISSION***JAMES GIBSON & DAVEY RICHARDS defeated KEVIN STEEN & EL GENERICO(Referee: Brady Boone) The wild duo of Steen and El Generico took on the newly formed squad of Davey Richards and James Gibson in a highly entertaining contest. Steen began the match by dominating Gibson with his power moves, leaving Gibson in rough shape. El Generico tagged in and continued the assault with a swinging tornado DDT and a crushing Ole kick. Generico mounted the top turnbuckle, but his attempted flying bodypress went awry and Brady Boone was knocked to the canvas. Gibson tagged to Richards, who took over on the stunned El Generico. After hitting Generico with the DR Driver, Richards trapped him in the Stretch Muffler. El Generico tapped, but no referee was present to call for the submission. DANNY DAVIS rushed to the ring to take over the zebra duties as Richards smashed El Generico with another DR Driver and pinned him cleanly. Lance Russell: A tremendous match! There is a lot of new talent on board here in the Heartland. In addition to taking control of the action inside and out of the ring here, Nikita has also signed some terrific young wrestlers to add to the competition. Both these teams are young and hungry, and it will be highly entertaining to watch them try to make it to the top and test their mettle against the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS. Now, let's head back to the ring for our main event! MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCHRICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER)(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Steamboat and Daniels tore up Tennessee with a match-of-the-year candidate performance! The action went back and forth repeatedly. Daniels got the best of Steamboat on several exchanges at the turnbuckle and scored a couple of near falls. Steamboat left the ring, and Daniels pounced on him with a spectacular Senton Splash, leaving the Dragon stunned. Daniels went to the air again, but Steamboat ducked away from the Suicide Tope and Daniels crashed and burned. Steamboat went to the air, hitting the Fallen Angel twice with cross body blocks to take control. Allison Danger tried to intervene, but Steamboat ducked away from her attempted slap and levelled the stunned Daniels with a flying dropkick. Steamboat made the cover, and Kopasz made the three-count before Allison could assist her man. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Steamboat has gotten the measure of the Fallen Angel! These two absolutely brought the house down! The Dragon came out on top this time, but I for one am hopeful that these two talented competitors will hook it up again soon. As much as I enjoy the new talent, there's nothing like watching an old school legend like Steamboat in action. That match alone was worth the price of admission. Fans, we thank you for joining us tonight here in Bristol. We'll be back on Monday night with a special edition of Adrenaline. We'll see the grudge match pitting the IRISH AIRBORNE against the team of JIMMY RAVE and BRENT ALBRIGHT. But the match that has the Heartland buzzing is the Tag Team Championship rematch where the CALGARY FLYERS, OWEN HART and BRIAN PILLMAN, have earned another shot against the champs, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #74 Viking Hall, Bristol, Tennessee August 27, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Viking Hall in Bristol, Tennessee! We have an exciting night of action planned for you this evening, including a double main event! We'll see the no-disqualification tag team showdown pitting the IRISH AIRBORNE against JIMMY RAVE and BRENT ALBRIGHT after their confrontation last Friday. Then, in our main event, the Heartland Tag Team Championship will be on the line in a rematch, as the champs, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, take on THE CALGARY FLYERS, OWEN HART AND BRIAN PILLMAN. Now, let's head to the ring for our opening contest! MVP (w/ JIM CORNETTE) pinned JIMMY JACOBS(Referee: Danny Davis) Jacobs surprised MVP early on, flooring him with a low blow and following with a flurry of aerial moves to put MVP in a bad way. But Jacobs was unable to finish MVP, who rallied. MVP took control with a sitout side powerslam, then went to work on Jacobs with a series of Ballin' Elbows. MVP finally put away his foe with the Playmaker to earn the victory. During the match, LACEY and COLT CABANA came to ringside to watch the match. Lacey giggled and Cabana grinned each time MVP connected with the Ballin' Elbow, infuriating Jacobs as he struggled to keep up with MVP. When MVP hit the Playmaker, Colt and Lacey left their seats and returned backstage before Jacobs could pursue them.Lance Russell: What a farce. Jimmy Jacobs is a good kid, and this shrew Lacey just wants to play him for a fool. He deserves better. I am disgusted! But let's give credit where credit is due. MVP got the job done, and he will be first in line at the pay window tonight. COLT CABANA (w/ LACEY) pinned BATISTA(Referee: Brady Boone) A stunning upset! Cabana was full of fire and inspiration as lovely Lacey led him to the ring, and Cabana did not disappoint. Colt surprised Batista on the opening series with a huracanrana, taking the big man off balance. After stunning Batista with the flying butthole, Cabana shocked everyone in Bristol, including himself, by hitting a massive powerbomb! Before Batista could react, Cabana wrapped him up and delivered a Colt .45 to score the pinfall! Lance Russell: Wow! I can't believe what I just saw! Colt Cabana wins over the animal Batista! The love of a good woman is a powerful motivator, to be sure. Batista bid his lady farewell, and Cabana is on top of the world! I guess even Batista is capable of having an off night, but nobody expected this outcome. MARK BRISCOE & BJ WHITMER (w/ MR. FUJI) defeated GREG VALENTINE & BRUTUS BEEFCAKE(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Filling in for the suspended Jay Briscoe, Whitmer didn't miss in beat in teaming with Mark. Mark and BJ used superior strategy under the watchful eye of Mr. Fuji, isolating Brutus in the ring. Valentine was able to interrupt a couple of near-falls, before he was mysteriously pulled off the ring apron by a masked man in a hooded sweatshirt. As Valentine battled the interloper, Whitmer lifted Brutus into a mighty Super Exploder '98 and pinned him cleanly. Lance Russell: What in the tarnation? I don't know who the man behind the mask is, but he has made his presence felt in this match. And you can bet that Commissioner Koloff will have some questions about this situation. Let's head to a break now. It's been a long, hot summer, so why not stop by the Heartland Concession Stand and enjoy a glass of Tennessee Sippin' Water! It's not just your average mountain spring water... and some have been known to carry it in a hip flask, but if you're over 18 then you can enjoy the beverage and make sure you have a designated driver! ***INTERMISSION***NON-TITLE MATCH: AUSTIN ARIES defeated BRYAN DANIELSON by submission(Referee: Heather Owens) As Bryan Danielson was being interviewed in the ring for Friday night's Midwest Title match against MVP, he was accosted by Austin Aries! Aries got into Danielson's face, and soon a shoving match broke out. Danielson gained the upper hand, but Aries refused to back down. After stunning Danielson with a corkscrew plancha, he trapped the Dragon in the Rings of Saturn. Danielson managed to reach the ropes, but Aries immediately pulled him to the center of the ring and slapped on the Rings a second time! Danielson fought it briefly, then tapped out as the crowd looked on in disbelief. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Danielson tapped out to Austin Aries! Perhaps he was looking past Aries to the title defense against MVP, and maybe he just wanted to save himself for Friday night. But this was a huge feather in the cap for Aries and he is certainly to be congratulated! I am sure he will get quite a boost to his career after such a major victory. All right, we have two terrific tag team matches ahead. Let's get back to the action! A video clip is shown from Friday Night Fury as JAKE CRIST battled BRENT ALBRIGHT. After Albright was disqualified, the battle waged on as JIMMY RAVE and then DAVE CRIST were drawn into the conflict, leading to tonight's tag team confrontation.NO DISQUALIFICATION GRUDGE MATCHIRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST) defeated BRENT ALBRIGHT & JIMMY RAVE(Referee: Brady Boone) As the teams were being introduced, MELINA came to ringside to watch the action. Albright started out the match by overpowering Jake and building a tremendous advantage. But much to his surprise, Melina moved behind Albright and nailed him with a vicious low blow! Albright rolled out to the ring floor, which was all the Airborne needed. Jake launched himself over the top rope with an Air Juvie, smashing Albright to the floor! The aerial onslaught continued with Dave taking out Jimmy Rave with a tope suicida and the young Irish team was firmly in control. Rave mounted a comeback briefly until Melina also nailed him with a low blow! Staggered in the ring, Rave was defenseless as the Airborne delivered a powerful double-team flying neckbreaker for the victory! Lance Russell: Holy mackerel! I am shocked! When I saw Melina show up to this match, I figured for sure she was working for Albright. But the Airborne? These young guys have always walked the straight and narrow, and I am speechless that they have hired the likes of Melina! I know that she promised to be back and bring a powerful group together. But the Irish Airborne would be the last team I would expect to sign with Melina. You just never know! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a sixty-minute time limit. Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. This match is for the NWA Heartland Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, the challengers, at a total combined weight of 451 pounds, collectively known as the CALGARY FLYERS, BRIAN PILLMAN and OWEN HART! And their opponents, accompanied to the ring by manager JAMES E. CORNETTE, at a total combined weight of 458 pounds, they are your reigning and defending NWA Heartland Tag Team Champions, "BEAUTIFUL" BOBBY EATON and "SWEET" STAN LANE, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS!THE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN) defeated THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS by disqualification(Referee: Danny Davis) Once again, the Flyers and the Midnights put on a highly competitive match! All four men looked sharp in this return match. Lane caught a near-fall on Pillman with a stunning enzuigiri, but Pillman tagged out to Owen. Owen took over against Lane, and drilled him with a spinning back kick as Lane bounced off the turnbuckle. Lane tumbled out of the ring, then hauled Owen outside by the ankle and whipped him into the steel post! Even the usually lenient Danny Davis took umbrage at the brutality and called for the bell. After the decision, a masked man in a hooded sweatshirt came over the railing and jumped Lane from behind! Lane was caught unprepared as the mystery man picked up a TV monitor from the announce table and went for his head! At the last moment, Lane got his hand up and blocked the blow, and Eaton and Cornette quickly chased off the attacker. Lane got to his feet, but was grimacing and holding his right wrist as the Midnights returned to the locker room.As the masked attacker departed, COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF sprinted to the ring area, but was unable to catch up to the mystery assailant. Koloff grabbed the microphone and began to rant.Koloff: You! You! You come back here! When I find you, there will be no mercy! You will pay dearly for your misdeeds, I promise you! Koloff thows down the microphone in anger and storms back to the locker room.Lance Russell: Goodness gracious! That is one angry Commissioner! He has shown us already that he is a man of discipline and honor. He is infuriated that his federation could be infiltrated like this, and I must say that I cannot blame him. You had better believe that Commissioner Koloff will use everything in his power to put a stop to this! Fans, it has been a very eventful night here at Adrenaline, and we certainly thank you for joining us. We look forward to seeing you on Friday night for another edition of Fury. Our main event will be a championship match! The Midwest Heavyweight Title will be on the line as BRYAN DANIELSON defends the belt against MVP. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!
