NWA Heartland Card #75 Municipal Auditorium, Nashville, Tennessee August 31, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from Nashville, Tennessee. We are here at the Municipal Auditorium with an exciting night of action! Our main event tonight will feature a match for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship as BRYAN DANIELSON defends his title against MVP in what promises to be an outstanding match. We'll also have a great matchup in our Heavyweight Qualifying contest when THE ROCK takes on TAKESHI MORISHIMA. Now, let's get to the ring and get the action started! BJ WHITMER (w/ MR. FUJI) pinned JIMMY RAVE(Referee: Danny Davis) Whitmer and Rave went at each other in an intense matchup which lasted nearly 20 minutes. Both men took as much as they gave, both inside the ring and out. Whitmer slowly began to prevail by taking advantage of his strength. After a couple of unsuccessful pin attempts, Whitemer caught Jimmy in a Swinging DDT and finally captured the pinfall. After the match, a masked man in a hooded sweatshirt sneaked into the ring and attacked Jimmy Rave! A weary Rave tried to fight back, but the attacker overpowered him and prepared to run his knee into the steel post when BRENT ALBRIGHT dashed to the ring and threw the masked man to the floor. Albright pursued the assailant but was unable to catch him before his escape through the crowd.Lance Russell: Wow! What a match! Those two really gave it their all. Whitmer has been fighting with a new-found intensity since he signed on with Mr. Fuji. I don't know what the deal is with this masked man, but I know that COMMISSIONER KOLOFF is none too pleased! He has asked for time after the intermission to address the situation. Until then, we have more business to conduct in the ring! AJ STYLES pinned JAMES GIBSON(Referee: Brady Boone) In another highly competitive and athletic bout, Styles and Gibson locked up in a give-and-take battle. The aerial ability of Styles proved to be the deciding factor, as the Phenomenal One took to the air to nail Gibson with a frog splash, setting him up for the Styles Clash which was the decisive blow. Lance Russell: Another terrific contest! AJ has been a top competitor in the Heartland since day one, and Gibson is one of the best wrestlers, pound-for-pound, anywhere in the NWA. You can count on both these guys to bring the house down every time out. THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST w/MELINA) defeated STING & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Since hooking up with Melina, the Crist Brothers have never looked better! It was Jake's night tonight, hitting Sting with a devastating flurry of aerial maneuvers which put him on the canvas. As Melina distracted Claudio, Jake executed a pair of Springboard Hurracanranas on Sting, leading to a surprising victory for the Airborne! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What an onslaught by Jake and Dave! Granted, both Sting and Claudio are a little banged up from the War Games match, but give credit where credit is due- the Irish took the fight right to the Soldiers on this night and came away with a hard-earned victory. When is Claudio ever going to learn to keep his eyes off the ladies? It's bad enough that SO CAL VAL emptied out his bank account, but he obviously did not learn his lesson. I am appalled! Fans, it's time now to head to a break. We must apologize that the boys from the Heartland Souvenir Stand couldn't make it here tonight. Apparently they got a little too happy with the Tennessee Sippin' Water and haven't found their way out of Bristol just yet. Hopefully they will be back in action on Monday. We'll be back shortly with two more exciting contests! ***INTERMISSION***As the lights come down, IVAN KOLOFF enters the ring and takes the microphone.Koloff: Good evening, friends. I am not such a great talker but I need to speak my mind. I came here to support my nephew Nikita and his good friend Sting. But now I find that there were more problems here. More corruption at the highest levels. It is with respect that I come to lead this federation. Sting and his friends did well to put away the Commissioner, but now a new force is threatening our federation. These secret attacks must stop! And I must find out who is responsible. But as Sting has taught me, a war like this cannot be won alone. I need the help of everyone in the Heartland to bring this evildoer to justice. So, I am offering $5,000 to any man who will bring this masked scoundrel to justice! Lance Russell: How about that! Commissioner Koloff has decided to put his money where his mouth is! A reward is being offered for the capture of the masked man. I wonder who will step forward and claim this bounty? NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: QUALIFYING MATCHTAKESHI MORISHIMA defeated THE ROCK by disqualification(Referee: Heather Owens) Rock and Morishima went after each other in a brief, but furious brawl which did not take long to break down. In the early stages, Rock was unable to penetrate the powerful Japanese, until he went into his bag of tricks and delivered a low blow unseen by Heather Owens. Rock followed with a rally, hitting the People's Elbow twice on Morishima, who managed to kick out of the pin attempt. Morishima got back to his feet and attempted to retaliate, but Rock nailed him with a running clothesline and Morishima became tangled in the ropes. Rock pressed the attack as Heather tried to free Morishima. When Rock knocked the referee to the mat, she immediately called for the disqualification. Furious and frustrated, Rock began to pummel Morishima until BOBO BRAZIL came from the locker room to try and settle the Rock. Bobo was finally able to restore order, but not until Morishima appeared to have suffered an injury to his left shoulder while tangled in the ropes. Lance Russell: Goodness gracious! The Rock is sometimes too emotional for his own good. He cost himself a shot at the title with that mistake. Kudos to Heather for taking control and making the right call. So Morishima will move on to a number one contenders' match against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat this coming Monday on Adrenaline! Now, let's head to the ring for our main event! NWA HEARTLAND MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Brady Boone. Introducing first, the challenger, accompanied to the ring by MR. JAMES E. CORNETTE. Hailing from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 252 pounds, MONTELL VONTAVIOUS PORTER, MVP! And his opponent is your reigning and defending NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Champion. He weighs in at 190 pounds, and hails from Aberdeen, Washington. He is the self-proclaimed "Best Wrestler in the World", THE AMERICAN DRAGON, BRYAN DANIELSON!BRYAN DANIELSON defeated MVP (w/ JIM CORNETTE) by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) The American Dragon overcame the odds tonight to successfully defend his title. Jim Cornette was at his most annoying, constantly jawing at Brady Boone and infuriating Danielson. MVP used the distraction to his advantage early on, nailing Dragon with a Ballin' Elbow for a two-count. Danielson rallied, taking it to the mat and controlling MVP with suplexes and submission moves until he nailed a Roaring Elbow of his own! MVP went down, but Cornette continued to harass Brady Boone and the three-count was late. Undaunted, Danielson rolled MVP over for the Cattle Mutilation and forced him to tap out. Lance Russell: Bryan Danielson just continues to roll! Even the shenanigans of Jim Cornette could not overcome the deadly expertise of the Dragon. But with AUSTIN ARIES lurking around the corner, Danielson will need to continue to be at his best. No doubt Aries is angling for a title match after his upset win against Dragon in their last contest. What a showdown that will be! Fans, we thank you for joining us here tonight at Fury from Nashville. We'll be back on Monday Night with a special edition of Adrenaline, where you will see the grudge match between COLT CABANA and JIMMY JACOBS, as well as the #1 contenders match pitting RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT against TAKESHI MORISHIMA. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and the Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #76 Thompson-Boling Arena, Memphis, Tennessee September 3, 2007 SHIMMER EXHIBITION MATCHDAIZEE HAZE pinned MsCHIF(Referee: Heather Owens) After an opening flurry of power moves, MsChif spewed green mist into the face of Daizee and she tumbled out of the ring. But Daizee regained her vision quickly enough to grab MsChif by the hair and slam her face-first onto the ring steps! She followed with a pair of Missile Dropkicks onto the stunned MsChif, setting her up for Daizee's finishing combo Heart Punch / Yakuza Kick and a pin! Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Thompson-Boling Arena in Memphis, Tennessee. We are pleased to bring you a special night of action, including our opening Shimmer match! Heather Owens has requested it, and Commissioner Ivan Koloff has sanctioned it. NWA Heartland will now be presenting a series of exhibition matches featuring some of the bost dynamic ladies the aport has to offer. And who better than DAIZEE HAZE to get the ball rolling! Fine work, Heather! Now, let's get on to tonight's Heartland action. Our main event tonight will feature a no-disqualification grudge match as the result of a brewing feud between JIMMY JACOBS and COLT CABANA. Let's head to the ring! STING defeated DAVEY RICHARDS by submission(Referee: Danny Davis) Sting controlled most of this match. Davey absorbed a great deal of punishment and continued to fight back, but the Stinger kept the pressure on and maintained his advantage. Richards tried to seek respite outside the ring, but Sting followed him and got the best of the brawl. The lenient Danny Davis allowed the action to continue, and Sting rolled him into the Scorpion Deathlock. Too weak to escape, Richards was forced to tap out and Sting captured the duke. Lance Russell: Finally, it appears that Sting has gotten his career back on track! There is no limit to this man's potential, but he truly needs to keep his focus and tonight he took a step in the right direction. CHRIS HERO defeated CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) The two former partners squared off in a match which started peaceably, but quickly deteriorated into a violent brawl. Both men worked each other over outside the ring, where Claudio finally gained the upper hand. After whipping Hero into the steel post, Claudio shoved Brady Boone aside and kept his attack going against Hero. Boone called for the disqualification, but Castagnoli was relentless in his attack until STING came to the ring and convinced Claudio to break off the conflict. Hero remained down for a few moments, but was able to leave the ring area under his own power. Lance Russell: Wow! Looks like the hard feelings between the former Kings run deeper than we might have originally been led to believe. I thought Hero and Claudio were gonna tear each other limb from limb! I certainly am glad that Sting was here to bring some sanity to the situation. Let's just hope that this doesn't escalate any further. THE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN) defeated AUSTIN ARIES & RODERICK STRONG by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) These two highly coordinated teams engaged in a very entertaining bout. Aries had Owen on the defensive and nearly pinned him after an impressive dropkick bomb. Owen turned the tide, sidestepping Aries and sending him crashing to the turnbuckle. After Owen nailed a Missile Dropkick, a masked man in a hooded sweatshirt appeared out of nowhere and clobbered Hart with a spinning back kick! Aries and Strong appeared shocked initially, but made the decision to jump on Owen outside the ring as the masked man joined in. As the battle waged, it appeared that the masked man was getting the best of Owen. As Aries and Strong egged him on, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI dashed to the ring and intercepted the masked attacker! Claudio brawled with the masked man, but the invader grabbed Joe Kopasz and hurled him into Claudio. The invader slipped away and escaped into the crowd as Claudio struggled back to his feet. Aries and Strong left the ring area without further incident. In an instant, COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF arrived on the scene. Ivan put his arm around Claudio and led him back to the locker room, questioning him along the way about the identity of the masked brawler.Lance Russell: How about that? This masked man just seems to appear randomly and launch his attacks, and then he escapes without a scratch. I thought Claudio might get the measure of him, but the guy is just too elusive. And why was Claudio out here? Does he know something we don't? Or maybe he is just trying to collect the bounty money, now that he is totally broke. This situation continues to spin out of control, and it's a major test for Commissioner Koloff in his new leadership role. Whew! I am ready for a break after all that excitement. Good news! The Heartland Concession Stand is open for business and serving up a delicious plate of Memphis-style barbecue! Whether you like the Yankee Sweet, the Five-Alarm Spicy, or something in between, you're sure to experience a new taste sensation! When we return, we'll see a special interview segment as LILLIAN GARCIA will sit down with the hottest new contender in the Heartland, TAKESHI MORISHIMA.***INTERMISSION***Lillian Garcia: Welcome back, fans! It is nice to be here with the great fans of the Volunteer State! I am pleased tonight to have the chance for a conversation with the Japanese sensation, TAKESHI MORISHIMA! Mr. Morishima, welcome to America! Tonight, you have a great opportunity for a #1 contenders' match against RICKY STEAMBOAT. You, sir, are in line for a title match! Morishima: Thank you, Miss Lillian. Steamboat is great wrestler, but Morishima will fight hard to be champion! Lillian Garcia: Yes, I know you will bring your best effort tonight. You certainly put on a great match against THE ROCK.IF YOU SMEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL..... EL-EL-EL-EL-ELLLLLLLLLL...... WHAT THE ROCK..... IS COOKIN!THE ROCK and BOBO BRAZIL enter the interview set. Morishima steps in front of Lillian and glares menacingly at The Rock. Bobo steps in front of The Rock and stares into the eyes of Morishima. Silently, the two giants size each other up. The camera tightens on the faces of the mammoth wrestlers and fades to black.Lance Russell: Wow. You can feel the intensity between Bobo and Morishima building. But they have never faced each other in the ring! And besides, Morishima has a contenders' match to deal with. Let's head to the ring! NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHRICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT pinned TAKESHI MORISHIMA(Referee: Danny Davis) Morishima was nursing an injured wrist, and appeared to be preoccupied with Bobo Brazil before the match. The veteran Steamboat wasted no time taking advantage. It took several shots, but the Dragon finally floored Morishima with a leaping judo chop, then went to the air. Steamboat delivered three consecutive flying cross-body blocks and finally put the giant Japanese down for the three-count. Lance Russell: What a performance! Steamboat has toppled the giant Morishima! That is amazing. It's not often that you see Morishima with his shoulders on the canvas. But Steamboat is a legendary figure in the history of wrestling, and I am confident that he will put on a great show against DELIRIOUS with the title on the line! MAIN EVENT: NO DISQUALIFICATIONCOLT CABANA (w/ LACEY) pinned JIMMY JACOBS(Referee: Heather Owens) Jacobs lit into Cabana with a fury at the outset of the match. Cabana was forced to backpedal as Jacobs pulled out everything in his arsenal. After Jacobs hit the Contra Code, Cabana went for cover and slid out of the ring. Jacobs pursued him, but was distracted by Lacey outside of the ring. Colt took advantage, whipping Jacobs into the steel security railing. But Jacobs' passion continued to spur him on, and soon enough he was pummeling Cabana in the ring again. After levelling Cabana with a wicked spear, Jacobs went to the top rope, but Lacey came from behind and shoved him down to the canvas. Cabana immediately went to the Colt .45 and scored a pin on Jacobs. After the decision, IVAN KOLOFF came to ringside and took the microphone. Koloff: Cabana, you disgrace yourself and you disgrace this sport when you hide behind the skirt of a woman to win your match. You have no honor! You must settle your issue with Jimmy Jacobs man to man! I call for the Championship Committee to schedule another match for Cabana and Jacobs- in the STEEL CAGE! You will not escape and your girl will not intrude. Koloff hands the microphone to the stage hand and leaves the ring with a scowl. Cabana and Lacey pout together as Jacobs glares and shakes his fists.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Commissioner Koloff has spoken! Jacobs will finally get his hands on Cabana- man to man- in a steel cage showdown! I can't wait for that confrontation! And I am very excited about the upcoming title defense for DELIRIOUS against RICKY STEAMBOAT. The action never stops here in the Heartland. Fans, we thank you for joining us here tonight for this special edition of Monday Night Adrenaline. We'll be back on Friday night with more great wrestling action. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #77 James A. Rhodes Arena, Akron, Ohio September 7, 2007 OPENING EXHIBITION MATCH"SEXY" SEAN CASEY pinned DAVE CRIST(Referee: Heather Owens) In a warm-up match, the HWA star and leader of the "Five Most Wanted" dominated Dave Crist inside the ring and out, winning a one-sided bout with a stunning Superkick. Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the James A. Rhodes Arena in Akron, Ohio, with an extra-special night of action! We have an outstanding main event tonight, as the NWA World Champion BRET HART is here tonight to defend his title against the reigning Heartland Heavyweight Champion DELIRIOUS. As you know, the Hitman is a former Heartland Champion in his own right, and it is always great to have him back in the territory. Delirious has been on an amazing roll, surprising observers throughout the wrestling world by winning and defending the Heartland Title. Hart and Delirious are ranked #1 and #2 in the NWA rankings, so tonight's match is as good as it gets! Let's head to the ring for our opening contest. BATISTA defeated GREG VALENTINE by submission(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Batista controlled the majority of the action as Valentine struggled to mount any offense against the powerhouse. After beating down the Hammer, Batista trapped him in an elevated Elevated Half Crab to secure the submission. Lance Russell: Wow! The Hammer is no pushover, but the animal Batista tossed him aside like a sack of garbage. Batista has been floundering a bit since MELINA left him behind, but you better believe that this big man is a threat to anyone who crosses his path. THE ROCK pinned JIMMY RAVE(Referee: Danny Davis) In what amounted to little more than a squash match, The Rock laid the smack down on Rave and dropped him with a Rock Bottom in under 2 minutes. Lance Russell: My, oh, my! The Rock just blew right past Jimmy Rave. One of the true greats of the sport, and it is a great privilege to have him here in the Heartland. AJ STYLES defeated JAKE CRIST (w/ MELINA) by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) Two of the Heartland's premier high-flyers squared off in an aerial showdown. Unfortunately for the Akron crowd, Brady Boone kept tight wraps on the action, refusing to let the match spill outside of the ring where the acrobats could strut their stuff. Grounded, AJ took the advantage with superior mat wrestling and power, setting Jake up for an Air Raid Crash. Before Styles could make the cover, Melina intervened and nailed Styles with a low blow! Boone immediately called for the bell. After the decision, Styles remained down on the mat. Melina ordered Jake to continue beating him, so Jake began stomping away. Melina handed him a steel chair, but before Jake could smash AJ, the speaker system came on, playing "Break the Walls Down" by Sevendust. Melina and Jake appear shocked as CHRIS JERICHO appears at the top of the ramp. Jericho dashes to the ring, as Melina scurries away and Jake follows.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Chris Jericho is back! The fans here in Akron are literally going berserk! I can't believe what I just saw! AJ Styles was about to get a chair shot from Jake Crist, and out of nowhere Jericho has come and put a stop to the brutality! AJ has made it back to his feet and looks to be okay, but it is Y2J who has stolen the show! On that note, let's go to a break, fans. It is a great night to be in Akron, but tomorrow is like to be a tough day as the local Akron Zips head to the horseshoe to do battle with The Ohio State University Buckeyes. And you thought that match between The Rock and Jimmy Rave was one-sided? You ain't seen nothing yet! In the meantime, you can drop by our Heartland Souvenir Stand where ZIPPY THE KANGAROO is signing autographs and snapping Polaroids with the kids. Who could pass by an opportunity like that? ***INTERMISSION***THE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN) defeated DAVEY RICHARDS & JAMES GIBSON(Referee: Danny Davis) In an outstanding match, Richards & Gibson gave the Flyers all they could handle. Hart was isolated in the early going, and trapped by Richards in the Stretch Muffler but refused to submit. Hart finally tagged to Pillman, who went to the air and nailed Richards with an amazing Missile Dropkick! Gibson managed to break up the pinfall, leading to a four-way brawl. After Pillman took out Gibson with a Flying Crucifix, Owen managed to trap Richards in the Sharpshooter and force a tapout. As Owen and Pillman celebrated, a masked man in a hooded sweatshirt came from nowhere to storm the ring! The attacker knocked Pillman out of the ring and down to the floor, then stunned Owen with a kick to the midsection and planted him with a beautifully executed DDT. The attacker disappeared through the crowd before Pillman could pursue him. Owen remained motionless on the mat for a few moments before Pillman and Danny Davis helped him to his feet. Owen returned to the dressing room under his own power.Lance Russell: What in the tarnation? This masked attacker has struck again! Thank heavens, it seems that Owen will be okay, but there MUST be an explanation for this! Someone has GOT to put a stop to this insanity! This masked guy is cutting a swath through the entire tag team division. Ivan Koloff has offered a major reward, yet no one has been able to bring this masked intruder into captivity. I must admit that I am perplexed about this situation. Let's head now to the main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 190 pounds, from The Edge of Sanity, he is your current NWA Heartland Heavyweight Champion. This is DELIRIOUS! And his opponent, hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and weighing in at 252 pounds, he is your reigning and defending NWA Heavyweight Champion of the World, BRET "THE HITMAN" HART!BRET HART pinned DELIRIOUS(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The NWA Heavyweight Championship very nearly changed hands in Akron! Delirious took the Hitman to the absolute limit from the opening bell. Delirious started quickly, hitting Hart with everything he had, and locking in the Cobra Stretch TWICE! Hart managed to survive the onslaught, and eventually managed to turn the tide, putting Delirious on the canvas and drilling him with a flying clothesline. Hart dominated Delirious for the next several minutes but was unable to put him away. Frustrated, Hart threw Delirious over the top rope, but Joe Kopasz allowed the action to continue and Delirious mounted another rally! Delirious slammed into Hart with the vaunted Shadows Over Hell, and followed with a vicious flurry of 20 clotheslines in the corner. Hart again managed to pull through, exloding out of the corner with another flying clothesline. Delirious went down hard, and the Hitman finished him off with a running bulldog to finally capture the pinfall. Lance Russell: What a match! The Hitman has retained his championship, but not without a very tight struggle against Delirious. Delirious is really showing a fine display of sportsmanship as he raises the hand of the Hitman and the two competitors embrace after the decision. Bret Hart worked very hard tonight to hold on to that belt and he certainly deserves the accolades which the Akron crowd is providing. Hart is a hard working, fighting champion, and a man who brings respect and honor to this federation. Fans, we thank you for joining us for tonight's episode of Fury. Stay tuned on Monday night, as we will be back with a special episode of Adrenaline. We will see the Heartland champion DELIRIOUS back in action, as he will defend the title against RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Commissioner Ivan Koloff and Lillian Garcia, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #78 Beeghly Center, Youngstown, Ohio September 10, 2007 OPENING EXHIBITION MATCHNIGEL McGUINESS defeated "SEXY" SEAN CASEY by countout(Referee: Heather Owens) HWA Superstar Sean Casey fared much less well in his second exhibition match. McGuiness controlled the majority of the action, torturing Casey with the cross arm breaker and the English ankle pick. Casey took the action out of the ring several times, holding his own against Nigel and mounting a couple of brief rallies but failing to do significant damage. Finally worn out, Casey took the brunt of another brawl on the arena floor and was unable to meet the 10-count back into the ring. Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Beeghly Center on the campus of Youngstown State University in beautiful Northeast Ohio! We have an exciting night of action on tap for you tonight. We've already seen our opening exhibition bout as HWA Superstar SEAN CASEY, managed by none other than the BARNESTORMER DAVID BARNES, continues his quest to achieve greatness in the world of professional wrestling. We have a full card of action ahead this evening, highlighted by our main event- an NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship match as the champion DELIRIOUS defends the belt against the number one contender, RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT! Let's head to the ring for our opening contest. NON-TITLE MATCH: BRYAN DANIELSON defeated JIMMY JACOBS by disqualification(Referee: Danny Davis) The American Dragon looked strong in his final tuneup before the Midwest Title showdown against AUSTIN ARIES. Jacobs met with little success, inside the ring or out. It looked like curtains for Jacobs when Danielson floored him with a Roaring Elbow, but Jacobs kicked out and slid from the ring. When Danielson pursued him out of the ring, AUSTIN ARIES appeared at ringside and jumped him! Aries and Danielson brawled throughout the Beeghley Center before RENE GOULET and his Elite Security Forces came to save the day! Neither man appeared to suffer injury, but the hostilities continued to escalate as the combatants were escorted out of the ring area. Lance Russell: Good heavens! Aries just cannot wait to get after Danielson and get his shot at the Midwest Title! The intensity between these two rivals is growing in anticipation of their championship showdown. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) defeated DAVEY RICHARDS by countout(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Richards had Daniels in trouble in the early going, after dodging a ram into the turnbuckle to send Daniels crashing into the turnbuckle. Richards immediately went to the DR Driver for a near-fall, then trapped Daniels in the Stretch Muffler and nearly forced the Angel to tap out. At this point, Allison got involved, grabbing Richards at the ankle and yanking his knee into the steel post. Daniels followed this with a baseball slide dropkick, knocking Richards out of the ring to the floor. As Davey struggled to regain his feet and slide back into the ring, Allison grabbed his injured leg and pulled him off the apron to secure the countout victory for her man. Lance Russell: What a shame. The Fallen Angel has been growing more and more frustrated since he lost the Midwest title. Things just haven't gone his way, and it's really quite pathetic to see him resorting to the tactics of Allison Danger to win his matches. Let's go to our intermission now. I have just been informed that when we return, we will have a special announcement from Heartland Commissioner IVAN KOLOFF. Word has it that the Commissioner has uncovered the identity of the mystery attacker! While we are away, be sure to visit the Heartland Souvenir Stand for an extra special autograph session! The former coach of the Youngstown State Penguins football team, and now the man at the helm of The Ohio State Buckeyes, COACH JIM TRESSEL is here! Come by and pick up an autograph, and purchase a sweater vest to commemorate the 2002 National Champions! ***INTERMISSION***As the lights go down, COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF appears in the ring with a microphone.Koloff: Fans, I have been working day and night to learn who is disturbing our matches in the Heartland! With the help of an ally, I have discovered the man responsible for these heinous acts. To reveal the man, please welcome- IF YOU SMEEEELLLLLLLLL- EL- EL- EL- EL- ELLLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK....... IS COOKIN'!THE ROCK, microphone in hand, strides to the ring and joins Commissioner Koloff. Rock: Thank you very much, Commissioner! The Rock is here tonight to reveal the identity of the candy-assed coward who has been interfering in the matches around here. This man, Sheriff Koloff, has already been under official suspension by the Heartland! He has been taking out tag team wrestlers left and right so that his team can get back to the tag team championship! So, Boss, hand over the five grand and The Rock will deliver your man! Koloff reaches into his jacket pocket and produces a handful of bills. The Rock takes the wad, kisses it, and pockets it.Rock: Okay, Bobo, bring him out! BOBO BRAZIL appears at the top of the ramp. He is dragging a handcuffed figure in a hooded sweatshirt. He pulls the captive to the ring and dumps him at the feet of The Rock. The Rock pulls the man to his feet and pulls off the hood to reveal JAY BRISCOE!Rock: All right, punk, the gig is up! The Rock knows that you have been skulking around and back-jumping your fellow wrestlers ever since you got busted! Briscoe: Dude, you got it all wrong! I been home training since that dumb broad Heather Owens got me suspended. My brother MARK and BJ WHITMER are taking care of business while I chill out. Rock: Say what? You wanna blame your problems on that referee broad? What makes you think this is her fault? Briscoe: Dude, didn't you see- Rock: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHOSE FAULT YOU THINK IT IS! You have no business running around in your mask and your sweatshirt jumping guys from behind. If The Rock ever catches you interfering in another match, The Rock will rip that mask off your ugly face... turn that sumbitch sideways... AND SHOVE IT STRAIGHT UP YOUR CANDY ASS!Koloff: Okay, Mr. Rock, this is enough! You have given the Heartland a valuable service. Now if you and Mr. Brazil would kindly escort this scoundrel to my office, I will determine his punishment. Rock and Bobo grab Jay roughly by the shoulders and haul him up the ramp as Koloff follows.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! The identity of the masked man has been revealed! And now that I think about it, it all makes sense. This character showed up right after Jay Briscoe was suspended, and he has been taking out tag wrestlers at every opportunity! You have to believe that MR. FUJI is behind this diabolical plot to clear the path for the Briscoes to get back into Tag Team Title contention. I am disgusted! STING defeated BJ WHITMER (w/ MR. FUJI) by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) Whitmer and Sting went at it in a tremendous bout for over 15 minutes! The action was give-and-take throughout, as both men wrestled and brawled evenly. The advantage was traded back and forth frequently. Stinger managed to weaken Whitmer with a Stinger Splash, and wrap him up in the Scorpion Deathlock! Whitmer fought the pain, and Fuji slid his cane into the ring to pull BJ to the bottom rope. Whitmer rolled out of the ring and managed to regain his senses as Brady Boone held Sting at bay in the ring. When the action resumed, Sting again took control, and before long had Whitmer wrapped up again in the Deathlock. Before Fuji could intervene, a masked man in a hooded sweatshirt appeared at ringside and floored Fuji with a powerful Yakuza kick! Trapped in the center of the ring, Whitmer was forced to give it up and Sting claimed the victory! Lance Russell: What the- ? I thought Jay Briscoe was the masked man! But Briscoe is upstairs in Koloff's office... and his manager just got his head kicked in? Somehow, I don't think that Commissioner Ivan got the right man. The camera cuts to the back entrance, where THE ROCK and BOBO BRAZIL are seen hopping into a red convertible and speeding away from the arena. Both men are laughing and smoking cigars as Bobo counts the cash and Rock cranks up the stereo.Lance Russell: Oh, my! What an amazing development. Looks like the Commish has been hoodwinked. But we still don't know who this masked invader is. The plot thickens... THE DREAM TEAM (BRUTUS BEEFCAKE & GREG VALENTINE) defeated AUSTIN ARIES & RODERICK STRONG by countout(Referee: Heather Owens) In a tag team showdown, the Dream Team and Aries & Strong waged an intense brawl. Beefcake was especially effective, holding both opponents at bay and creating an advantage for his team. Brutus went for the sleeper on Aries, who quickly grabbed the top rope and slid out of the ring. As Aries circled the ring, BRYAN DANIELSON dashed into the picture and clobbered Aries across the back of the head with a double axe handle! Aries went down hard as the American Dragon slithered away. Strong pursued Danielson, but was unable to catch him as Heather Owens completed the 10-count and awarded the decision to the Dream Team! Lance Russell: Goodness gracious! Aries and Danielson are trying to rip each other apart... again! Their confrontation in the ring should be spectacular! Aries wants the belt... and Danielson wants revenge... what an explosive situation! Now, let's head back to the ring for our main event title match for the evening! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Danny Davis. Introducing first, the challenger, from Honolulu, Hawaii, weighing in at 235 pounds, RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT! And his opponent is your reigning and defending Heartland Heavyweight Champion. He weighs in tonight at 190 pounds, hailing from the Edge of Sanity, this is DELIRIOUS!RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT pinned DELIRIOUS to win the Heartland Heavyweight Championship!(Referee: Danny Davis) Steamboat was taken aback by the antics of Delirious at the opening bell, and the crafty champion took advantage. Delirious trapped Steamboat in the Cobra Stretch, but the Dragon refused to tap out and was able to escape out of the hold. Ricky then ducked a flying clothesline, and rebounded off the ropes with a running clothesline, turning the champion inside out! Steamboat was quick to capitalize, nailing Delirious with a flying dropkick for a two-count, then mounting the top turnbuckle for a breathtaking Cross Body Block to plant Delirious and capture the pinfall! Lance Russell: Ladies and gentlemen, history has been made here in Youngstown! Ricky the Dragon Steamboat has captured the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! What a great accomplishment for the Dragon. His performance tonight against Delirious was amazing! Even the masked madman and former champion is in the ring, congratulating Steamboat for an outstanding match, as Steamboat graciously accepts the title belt with a sincere handshake for his opponent. Fans, this match was a testimony to what professional wrestling is all about! After a night of disqualifications and countouts, bitter rivalries and intense competition, Steamboat and Delirious have treated the Beeghly Center faithful to an unforgettable contest. What a great way to end the evening. Fans, we certainly thank you for joining us here tonight. We hope you will join us on Friday night for the upcoming episode of Fury. We'll be coming to you live from Columbus, Ohio, with a World Championship match on the card as the newly crowned champions, DANNY HODGE and JIM LONDOS, will defend the titles against our ver own MIDNIGHT EXPRESS. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God Bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #79 Fairgrounds Coliseum, Columbus, Ohio September 14, 2007 SHIMMER EXHIBITION MATCHLACEY pinned ALLISON DANGER(Referee: Heather Owens) Two of the Heartland's premier managers donned the tights and delivered a highly entertaining exhibition match. Both ladies demonstrated athleticism and ring savvy. The match turned when Lacey stunned Allison with an awesome running clothesline off the turnbuckle, setting the stage for a Float-Over Implant DDT and a pinfall victory. Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Fairgrounds Coliseum in Columbus, Ohio. This legendary facility dates back to 1918, and has been the site of some great wrestling events. Men like Buddy Rogers, Antonino Rocca, Giant Baba, Ruffy Silverstein, and Flying Fred Curry have performed right here in this very Coliseum! And tonight will be no different, as we are pleased to bring you a special night of action. Our main event tonight will feature the NWA World Tag Team Championship as the newly crowned champions, DANNY HODGE and JIM LONDOS, will be defending the titles against THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS! This should be a classic confrontation, worthy of the founding fathers of this great sport. Now, let's head to the ring! JAY BRISCOE defeated RODERICK STRONG by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) Tensions were high as Jay Briscoe returned from his suspension and the controversy surrounding the hooded intruder. Surprisingly, MR. FUJI did not accompany Jay to the ring after Fuji was assaulted on Monday night's card. Brady Boone, the strictest referee in the Heartland, was assigned as the third man in the ring, but it still didn't take long for the action to spill out of control. Strong took the offensive in the brawling, pitching Briscoe out of the ring and whipping him into the steel ring post. Perhaps acting on instructions from Commissioner Koloff, Boone immediately called for the disqualification and awarded the match to Briscoe. Following the decision, a masked man in a hooded sweatshirt came to Briscoe's assistance. The intruder surprised Strong and levelled him with a powerful Yakuza kick! This brought AUSTIN ARIES quickly to ringside to shield his partner from further attack. Brady Boone attempted to apprehend the atacker, who grabbed a steel chair and chased Boone away from ringside. Jay led the attacker into the ring, where they were joined by MARK BRISCOE and BJ WHITMER. Whitmer took the microphone and addressed the Columbus crowd.Whitmer: Fans, the time has come for the Briscoe Brothers to take their rightful place at the top of the tag team rankings. Unfortunately, Mr. Fuji was obviously not the man to get the job done. So I got on the phone and made the call to the roughest, toughest, most dangerous enforcer in the wrestling world to come to the Heartland and help the Briscoes take care of business. And now, it is time for the Heartland to sit up and take notice as the Briscoes make their move! The attacker removes the hooded sweatshirt, then dramatically peels off the mask to reveal...
SARA DEL RAY !!!Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Fans, do you believe it? Sara Del Ray is the masked attacker! I don't think anyone in the Heartland saw this coming! But I gotta give credit to BJ and the Briscoes, this lady is a dangerous and fearless woman who will back down from no one! What a brilliant move by Whitmer as he and the Briscoes have shocked the world! TAKESHI MORISHIMA pinned COLT CABANA (w/ LACEY)(Referee: Danny Davis) Cabana and Lacey tried a novel strategy against the giant Japanese, going frequently to the top rope. But Morishima was more than able to overcome the swerve, repeatedly slamming Cabana to the canvas. Even a desperation low blow from Lacey did not turn the tide against Morishima as he finished Cabana with a well-executed Saito Suplex. Lance Russell: Wow! This giant Morishima is one dangerous individual. Cabana was completely out of his league in that match, even with Lacey on his side. Whenever BOBO BRAZIL gets back from his road trip with THE ROCK, the confrontation between those two giants will be epic! Well, fans, we are certainly off to a great start to tonight's card with plenty of interesting developments happening. But the best is yet to come! Let's head to a break now. We'll be back in a few short moments to continue the action. While we are away, be sure to stop off at the Heartland Souvenir Stand where we have some great memorabilia on sale! In honor of this distinguished old wrestling venue, you can choose from our collection of vintage wrestling photographs with the likes of the late BRONKO NAGURSKI, EDOUARD CARPENTIER, GORDON SOLIE, and of course the late MAE YOUNG. What's that? Oh, I've just been informed that Mae Young is not dead yet. My mistake. I just saw her the other day, and you know I could have sworn... oh well, never mind. Fans, enjoy the memorabilia and stay tuned for more great Heartland action! ***INTERMISSION***AUSTIN ARIES pinned CHRIS HERO(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Still enraged and fired up over the confrontation with the Briscoes, Aries started the match on fire! He immediately put Hero on the defensive and nailed a stunning Crucifix Bomb. BJ WHITMER and SARA DEL RAY came to ringside to watch the action, but did not interfere. Whitmer was cheering on Hero, but Sara was unimpressed. Aries took control with a series of brainbusters and pinned Hero as Sara scoffed. Lance Russell: Well, Aries continues to impress as he prepares for his shot at the Midwest Title against BRYAN DANIELSON. But it certainly doesn't look like Sara Del Ray was too impressed by the performance of Chris Hero. If Sara is looking to add talent to her stable, I think she is going to look elsewhere. STING & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI defeated KEVIN STEEN & EL GENERICO(Referee: Danny Davis) In a hard-fought and closely contested bout, all four men showcased their abilities. It looked like curtains for Claudio when El Generico nailed him with a brainbuster, but Claudio managed to kick out and tag in Sting. Sting planted Generico with a running facecrusher, then wrapped him up in the Scorpion Deathlock and forcing him to tap out as Claudio held Steen at bay. Lance Russell: What a fine match! Sting has found himself a new partner, and Claudio has found a new lease on life with this partnership. Steen and Generico came to the Heartland highly touted, but so far they have not met with a great deal of success despite some very entertaining and competitive matches. Now, let's get to the main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Your referee for his contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challengers. This legendary tag team is the current NWA Heartland AND NWA Tradition Tag Team Champions. They are accompanied to the ring by the manager, JAMES E. CORNETTE. At a total combined weight of 458 pounds, "BEAUTIFUL" BOBBY EATON and "SWEET" STAN LANE, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS! And their opponents are your reigning and defending NWA Tag Team Champions of the world! First, weighing in at 205 pounds from Argos, Greece, JIM LONDOS. And his tag team partner, standing at 220 pounds and originating from Perry, Oklahoma, DANNY HODGE!THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (w/ JIM CORNETTE) defeated DANNY HODGE & JIM LONDOS to capture the NWA World Tag Team Championship!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In a classic tag team bout, the Midnight Express outdueled the reigning world champions Hodge & Londos to win the World Tag Team Titles! Eaton and Lane were crisp in their early exchanges, isloating Londos in the ring to weaken him. Londos fled the ring, which proved to be a costly error against the crafty Express. As Eaton battled Londos on the floor, Lane dispatched Hodge, leaving the Midnights free to execute their patented Veg-O-Matic on Londos and complete the pinfall! Lance Russell: Fans, history has been made here at the Fairgrounds Coliseum in Columbus! The Midnight Express have captured the NWA World Tag Team Championship! Their superior teamwork clearly provided them with the advantage they needed to overcome the former champions and capture the gold! Congratulations to Eaton and Lane, and yes, to Jim Cornette, as they celebrate the victory. What a tremendous night it has been here in Columbus! Fans, we do thank you for joining us for tonight's episode of Fury. Be sure to tune in on Monday Night for our next exciting edition of Adrenaline! Our main event will feature the long-awaited showdown for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship as BRYAN DANIELSON will defend his title against AUSTIN ARIES. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card # 80 US Bank Arena, Cincinnati, Ohio September 17, 2007 SHIMMER EXHIBITION MATCHCHEERLEADER MELISSA pinned SARA DEL RAY(Referee: Heather Owens) In the most intense and competitive ladies' match that the Heartland has seen, the two bitter rivals fought for over 20 minutes and piled up a combined nine fatigue tokens! With both ladies on their last legs, Melissa alertly ducked out of an attempted clothesline and caught Sara with a stunning Samoan Drop to capture the victory! Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio! This state-of-the-art facility overlooks the Ohio River, sitting alongside the Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium. We are pleased to bring you a special night of action in our last TV taping before the Heartland Havoc XI pay-per-view spectacular. Our main event tonight will be the long-awaited showdown for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship pitting BRYAN DANIELSON against AUSTIN ARIES in what promises to be a classic encounter. We've already seen an exciting opening bout between two tremendous lady wrestlers. Now let's head back to the ring! JAMES GIBSON pinned BRENT ALBRIGHT(Referee: Danny Davis) James Gibson wrestled the match of his life in overcoming the larger Albright. Gibson executed several slick reversals to keep control of the match, and even took the measure of Albright when the action went to the floor. After reversing an Irish whip on the ring floor to send Albright hurtling into the steel security railing, Gibson rolled his man back into the ring and delivered the Gibson driver to capture the pinfall. Lance Russell: How about that! Gibson really showed his mettle in that match against a huge opponent. That's exactly what it takes for a small man to make it in this business. Straight-ahead, no-nonsense, smashmouth wrestling and no backing down. Ya gotta love it! CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI pinned JIM LONDOS(Referee: Brady Boone) This match was originally scheduled for Ricky Steamboat, before the Dragon captured the Heartland title. Jim Londos stepped in at the last moment, only to be overpowered and outbrawled by the powerful Swiss grappler. Londos tried to escape to the floor, but Claudio beat him down and pitched him back into the ring, finishing him with a powerful Ricola Bomb. Lance Russell: Welcome to Heartland wrestling, Mr. Londos. Like we saw in our last match, the little man really has to bring it to keep up with the bigger guys. If this Londos fellow doesn't pick it up a notch, his tenure here will be short-lived. BOBO BRAZIL defeated NIGEL McGUINESS by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) McGuiness took a page from James Gibson's book in his battle with the powerhouse Brazil, taking the fight to the big man from the opening bell. Nigel held the advantage for most of this match, weakening Bobo with a pair of Guvnor's Crumpets. Bobo pitched Nigel to the floor and took up a brawl, but Nigel was more than ready to stand his ground. Unfortunately, Nigel took matters a little too far, pounding Brazil headfirst into the steel ring steps, forcing Joe Kopasz to call for the bell. After the decision, an angry McGuiness kept on the attack against the woozy Brazil. Before he could inflict any further punishment, THE ROCK stormed to the ring to defend his pal. Rock and Nigel brawled all the way around the arena in a spirited battle which saw no clear winner before cooler heads prevailed and the wrestlers were escorted back to the dressing room area.Lance Russell: My, oh my! That is one hot-tempered Brit! But I can't say that I blame him. Bobo and The Rock have been parading around here like they own the place. Nigel may be in for more than he bargained for in this situation. I think this would be a good time to head to a break. When we return, COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF will be here with a special announcement about the Heartland Tag Team Titles. Until then, be sure to visit the Heartland Concession Stand for some of Cincinnati's finest taste sensations! Pick up a cheese coney or a three-way from Skyline Chili, or enjoy some Graeter's ice cream, the finest on the planet! ***INTERMISSION***IVAN KOLOFF enters the ring and is joined by JAMES E. CORNETTE, BOBBY EATON, and STAN LANE. Cornette and the Midnights are hauling the tage belts from the NWA World Championship, the Heartland Tag Titles, and the NWA Tradition tag team belts.Koloff: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. Tonight it is my joy to congratulate Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express for becoming the new NWA World Tag Team Champions. Cornette: Thank you very much, Uncle Ivan. You know, it sure is tough to be me. I don't know how on God's green earth I am going to keep track of all these gold belts. We've got the World titles! We've got the Heartland titles! We've got these crappy old tin belts from that Tradition federation. Hell, we've got belts we don't even want! But that's a small price to pay for being the greatest tag team on earth. I'm gonna need a U-Haul to lug around all this gold! Koloff: Yes, Mr. Cornette. You have had great success. We wish you all the best as you defend the World titles! However, tonight I announce that the Heartland titles are vacant and we will choose new champions at Heartland Havoc. Cornette: The Heartland belts are vacant? Okay, baldy, you can have your belts back. Cornette and the Midnights sort through their collection of belts, grinning and smirking as they toss the Heartland belts onto the mat in front of Koloff.Stan Lane: Hey, Cornette? What about these cheap, leftover Tradition belts? Cornette: Good question, Stan. Probably not worth anything on Ebay. Cornette looks into the crowd. He spots a young boy in a University of Kentucky t-shirt. He points to the young man and motions him to come to the ring.Cornette: Hey, you. Little fat kid. Come on up into the ring. (The boy reluctantly climbs the ring steps and enters the ring.) Listen, Skippy, you look like an underprivileged little hillbilly kid who is having a difficult childhood. I want to give you a gift to help you get off to a better start in life. Is your daddy here? I assume you know who your daddy is? Sparky: My uncle brought me. Cornette: Oh, okay. Your uncle brought you. Are you sure he's not your daddy, too? Oh well, never mind that. The world may never know. Whoever dressed you in that goofy University of Kentucky T-shirt must not love you anyway. Which one of those goofy-looking inbreds is your uncle? (The child points into the crowd.) Oh, I see. Everyone in the third row is your uncle. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Here's what I am going to do for you, Skippy. As of now, I am officially declaring you and your toothless, tobacco spitting Uncle Jesse to be the new NWA Tradition Tag Team Champions. Take these belts with you and enjoy. You can mount them on blocks out in front of your trailer. You can have them stuffed and hang them over your mantle. Do whatever you want with them, Skippy, because we don't need them! Cornette hands Skippy the belts and sends him back to his seat.Cornette: Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for your new NWA Tradition Tag Team Champions, Skippy the fat kid and his toothless, tobacco spitting Uncle Jesse!! The Midnight Express' music plays, and Cornette and the Midnights leave the ring.Ivan Koloff: Fans, I do apologize for that rudeness. The Heartland will be much better off without the likes of this fellow. I am here to announce that the Tag Team Championship will be decided Friday night at Heartland Havoc XI. The CALGARY FLYERS have already been booked for a championship match. They will wrestle the winners of our next tag team match tonight to determine the new tag team champions! Lance Russell: What a stunning announcement! Our upcoming tag match is now a number one contenders' match for the tag team championship! HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHTHE IRISH AIRBORNE (w/ MELINA) defeated MARK BRISCOE & BJ WHITMER (w/ SARA DEL RAY)(Referee: Heather Owens) Team Briscoe made a splash at the last show with the introduction of Sara Del Ray, but Melina and her boys refused to be intimidated. Whitmer established the advantage for his side in the early going, getting the measure of Dave Crist with a ground-based power attack. But Dave managed to hurl Whitmer out of the ring and tag in Jake, who immediately took to the air. Jake nailed BJ with a corkscrew pescado, stunning him and forcing him to tag out to Mark Briscoe. Mark fared no better against the aerial onslaught, as Jake took him out with a tope suicida. As Melina tussled with Sara outside the ring, Jake and Dave nailed Briscoe with the Irish Air Raid to capture the pinfall! Lance Russell: Wow! Jake Crist can dominate a match once he gets off the ground. Havoc will see another high-flying match-up in the series between the Airborne and the Calgary Flyers- and this time for all the marbles! Now, let's head to the main event! MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA Heartland Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Your referee for this contest is Brady Boone. Introducing first, the challenger, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 215 pounds, AUSTIN ARIES! And his opponent is your reigning and defending Midwest Heavyweight Champion. He hails from Aberdeen, Washington, and weighs in at 190. He is THE "AMERICAN DRAGON", BRYAN DANIELSON!AUSTIN ARIES defeated BRYAN DANIELSON by disqualification(Referee: Brady Boone) The tension between Aries and Danielson was evident from the opening bell, as both competitors launched into each other with tremendous intensity. Both men ignored their technical skills and got down and dirty, pummeling each other with chops and elbows. The fight went out of the ring repeatedly, until finally Danielson smashed Aries onto the announce table. Brady Boone had seen enough at this point and called for the bell. The brawl continued outside the ring as wrestlers and officials streamed out of the locker room in an effort to maintain control. Aries seized an opening as Danielson was being restrained, lunging at Danielson from behind and clipping him across the left leg. Danielson crumpled to the floor as the officials finally subdued Aries, but the damage had been done. Danielson remained down for a few minutes, clutching his left leg, before getting to his feet. He required some assistance get back to the dressing room, walking gingerly as the show faded to black.Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a brawl! And what a horrible cheap shot by Austin Aries. I am disgusted. But that is the level of intensity and competitiveness that Heartland wrestling inspires in its men. I am sure that Bryan Danielson would be the first to tell you that. Fans, I have just been informed that the Heartland Championship Committee has ruled that Aries and Danielson will face off again on Friday night at Heartland Havoc XI in a rematch for the Midwest Championship- in a [glow=red,2,300]TEXAS DEATH MATCH! [/glow] What an exciting addition to an already loaded pay-per-view.Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

The fun part will be when the promoter who runs the Tradition fed reads this.
I even went into our Yahoo group and edited the file with the title holders, so that the Tradition tag champs are now officially "Skippy the fat kid and his toothless, tobacco-spitting Uncle Jesse".

NWA Heartland Havoc XI: A Night of Champions EJ Nutter Center, Dayton, Ohio September 21, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's Havoc pay-per-view! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Ervin J. Nutter Center on the campus of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, the site of NWA Heartland headquarters! This should be an amazing night of action as we have four titles on the line, including the NWA World Junior X-Division championship! REY MYSTERIO, JR. is on hand tonight to defend his title. His challenger will be determined in our opening contest, a triple-threat match with three of our great cruiserweight contenders! We'll also see the rematch for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship as the new champion, RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT, defends against the former champion DELIRIOUS. We'll see the Midwest Heavyweoght Championship decided in a Texas Death Match between the bitter rivals, BRYAN DANIELSON and AUSTIN ARIES. And finally, the vacant Heartland Tag Team Championship will be decided as the IRISH AIRBORNE will challlenge the CALGARY FLYERS. Now, let's get to the ring for our opening contest! TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: NWA JUNIOR X-DIVISION TITLE SHOTAJ STYLES defeated JAMES GIBSON and NIGEL McGUINESS in a triple-threat match!(Referee: Danny Davis) The match began with AJ and McGuiness double-teaming on Gibson. Gibson took a serious pounding and was severely weakened. AJ and Nigel then took after each other, competing to see who could get a pinfall on Gibson. After Styles connected with a Pele kick on Nigel, Gibson crawled over and attempted a pin, but AJ threw him off and the match continued. Finally, AJ hurled Nigel out of the ring, then turned to deliver a Styles Clash on Gibson and score the pinfall before McGuiness could recover. Lance Russell: Wow! Styles played that one perfectly. Gibson was clearly in big trouble, so AJ dispatched Nigel and got the job done by putting away Gibson. We'll see him later tonight in the main event to take on REY MYSTERIO, JR. for the World Junior X-Division title! NWA HEARTLAND TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPTHE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN) defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST w/ MELINA) to win the Heartland Tag Team Championship!(Referee: Brady Boone) This match more than lived up to expectations! Owen entered the match with his rib cage taped as the result of a previous attack from SARA DEL RAY, so Pillman started off against Jake Crist. Pillman got the early edge, getting a near-fall on Jake after a deathjump. Jake appeared to be in trouble, but Melina interfered and nailed Pillman with a low blow! Dave tagged in and laid some more punishment on Pillman, forcing him to tag out to Owen. Owen immediately nailed Dave with an enzuigiri, and Dave was on dream street! But before Owen could capitalize, Dave managed to pitch him out of the ring and tag Jake back into the match. Jake went right to the air, nailing Owen with a dazzling corkscrew pescado for a near-fall. Jake continued his aerial attack with a dazzling array of daredevil moves, and Dave joined in the fun with a Senton Splash of his own. It looked like Owen was in major trouble when Brady Boone finally got the action back into the ring. Owen managed to collect himself, catching Jake out of nowhere with a side backbreaker and capturing the pinfall to win the titles! Lance Russell: What a match! Fans, you have just seen four of the finest athletes in the entire NWA. The Heartland has the finest tag team division around. Even after the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS moved on, our tag matches continue to showcase the finest talent, athleticism, and teamwork you will ever see. Congratulations to the Clagary Flyers for capturing the belts! And another close call for Jake and Dave Crist- it seems that the heartache never ends for these guys, but you can bet your bottom dollar that they will keep coming- and with MELINA now on their side, they are more dangerous than ever! And speaking of dangerous- is there anyone more dangerous than LACEY? Our next contest is a steel cage match which was entirely brought about by this little shrew and her manipulations. COLT CABANA and JIMMY JACOBS are going at it, and I hope they don't hurt each other just for Lacey's perverse amusement. STEEL CAGE SHOWDOWNCOLT CABANA defeated JIMMY JACOBS(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Jacobs was a total mess coming out for this match, alternating between tears of grief over Lacey and shrieks of rage at Cabana. He tore into Cabana at the outset, pummeling Colt with a flurry of punches and chops. Cabana found himself on the defensive, but Lacey's taunts from ringside were more than Jimmy could bear. As Jimmy turned to pine after Lacey, Cabana shoved him into the corner and nailed him with the Flying A-hole! As soon as Jacobs went down, Cabana picked him up and planted him with the Colt .45! Lacey quickly waved Colt out of the ring, and he obediently scurried from the cage before Jacobs could regain his feet. Lance Russell: You have got to be kidding me! Cabana took a powder from that cage just as quickly as he could. What a stinking coward! And poor Jimmy Jacobs- look at that sap, on his knees in the ring, broken-hearted and sobbing like a little girl. He lost his precious Lacey, and he really didn't even get a chance to get after Cabana tonight. Some guys just have no luck, and you can put Jimmy Jacobs' name at the top of that list. Where does he go from here? Oh well, fans, this would be a good time to head to a break. Please drop by the Heartland Souvenir Stand to meet tonight's VERY special guest! She is a Dayton native and a graduate of Beavercreek High School just down the road. She was a star for the amazing Duke women's basketball team, and she is now a key player for the WNBA Indiana Fever. Please stop by and get a polaroid with our guest tonight, ALLISON BALES!*** INTERMISSION***MIDWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: TEXAS DEATH MATCHAUSTIN ARIES defeated BRYAN DANIELSON to capture the Midwest Heavyweight Championship!(Referee: Heather Owens) An incredible confrontation between intense rivals produced a classic bout. Danielson came into the match already nursing a left leg injury, but the crafty American Dragon had a masterful game plan prepared. Danielson grounded Aries and kept the match on the mat, dominating the action with surfboards and submission holds. Danielson made liberal use of a variety of choke holds, sapping Aries' strength as he piled up a huge advantage. Aries tried to escape to the ring floor, but Danielson pursued him and rolled him into a painful Cattle Mutilation on the concrete. At this point, Aries was all but out on his feet, but managed to duck away from a flying clothesline to send Danielson crashing into the security rail. Trailing 9-2 in tokens, Aries mounted his comeback, rolling Danielson back into the ring and delivering a series of high-impact manuvers. When Aries connected on a pair of brainbusters, Danielson was clearly stunned. Aries took a page out of the Dragon's playbook, going to the Rings of Saturn to punish Danielson while regaining his own stamina. Once Danielson was down, Aries went back to the high-impact moves, pounding away with the Rewind Elbow Drop followed by a sensational 450 splash! Danielson was barely able to stagger to his feet, but Aries was ready and waiting with a corkscrew plancha that put Danielson on the mat to stay as Heather Owens completed the 10-count. Following the decision, both men remained on the mat for several minutes. Aries eventually made it to the corner under his own power, grimacing and holding his rib cage as Heather Owens handed him the Midwest title belt. Danielson required the assistance of Heartland trainers to get to his feet, but insisted upon embracing Aries and raising his arm before being helped back to the dressing room.Lance Russell: What a match! That has got to be one of the most competitive matches in the history of the Heartland. Both these men gave everything they had! I didn't think there was any way that Aries would mount such a stirring comeback. He deserves all the credit in the world for winning that match. I think both these men have earned a new measure of respect for each other, and I also believe that we may have just seen the match of the year! Let's see if DELIRIOUS and RICKY STEAMBOAT can top that! NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPRICKY STEAMBOAT defeated DELIRIOUS by submission to retain the title!(Referee: Brady Boone) Steamboat and Delirious went all-out in this championship rematch. The Dragon went to the air early, nearly capturing a quick pinfall after a flying cross-body block. But Delirious managed to turn the momentum with some choatic brawling, delivering 20 clotheslines to Steamboat in the corner and drilling him with the Shadows Over Hell. Steamboat kept his cool, retaliating with a martial arts flurry which put Delirious on the mat. The Dragon then expertly manuvered Delirious into a double chicken wing in the center of the ring, and the masked man was forced to tap out. Lance Russell: Wow! Steamboat really showed me something new in that title defense. We all know about his aerial abilities and his martial arts, but I think he surprised Delirious by locking on that submission hold. The challengers for the belt will be lining up, but I am confident that Steamboat will be a worthy champion and he will be ready to take on all comers. Now, let's head to our main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD JUNIOR X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Junior X-Division Championship. Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, from Gainesville, Georgia, weighing in at 215 pounds, he is THE PHENOMENAL AJ STYLES! And his opponent is your reigning and defending NWA Junior X-Division Champion. Weighing in at 165 pounds, hailing from San Diego, California, please welcome REY MYSTERIO, JR!REY MYSTERIO, JR. defeated AJ STYLES by disqualification to retain the title!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The World Junior X-Division Champion put on a sensational show, dazzling the Dayton crowd and stunning AJ with an aerial showcase. Rey hit Styles with a flying hurricanrana and followed with the West Coast Pop. AJ kicked out, and pitched Rey out of the ring to allow himself a breather. Joe Kopasz let the infraction slide, but when AJ pursued Rey to the outside and whipped him into the ring steps, Kopasz was forced to call for the bell and award the decision to the champion. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! What a disappointing end to a fine match. But Joe Kopasz definitely made the right call, and Rey Mysterio Jr. remains your NWA Junior X-Division champion. You have to wonder if fatigue didn't play a part in that match after Styles had to compete in a grueling three-way match-up just to get here. AJ would be the first to tell you that it didn't matter, but I would love to see these to get after it when they are both at full strength. Fans, we do thank you again for joining us here at Heartland Havoc XI for what has been an awesome card of wrestling action. We'll be back on Monday night with a special broadcast of Adrenaline. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #81 Metro Center, Rockford, Illinois September 24, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Metro Center in Rockford, Illinois! Rockford is a small town, but the fans here are loyal and enthusiastic, and have once again packed out the Metro Center for tonight's show. We are pleased to bring you a special night of action, on the heels of Havoc XI. Once again, COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF has recruited and signed a number of new talents as the Heartland action continues to thrill fans all over the Midwest. Our main event tonight will feature a qualifying match for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship, as RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT awaits a new number one contender. We'll see the big man, BOBO BRAZIL, square off against young AJ STYLES for a spot in the #1 contenders' match. But before we head to the ring, MELINA has asked for time to address the fans of the Heartland. Melina: Thank you, Mr. Russell. A few weeks ago... when I dumped that idiot CARLITO and that big lug BATISTA...I promised the Heartland that I would be back, and that I would be back stronger than ever. Sure enough, my guys in the IRISH AIRBORNE are wrestling better than ever. But I am not finished! No, Lance, I promised the Heartland that I would make an impact, and now the time has come. Fans, please welcome my newest, biggest, and baddest wrestler to the Heartland... TERRY "BAM BAM" GORDY!TERRY GORDY (w/ MELINA) defeated DEAN MALENKO(Referee: Brady Boone) Malenko appeared surprised, but not intimidated, when the huge Gordy was led to the ring by Melina. Malenko traded holds with Gordy for a few minutes, and actually gained an advantage and went to the Texas Cloverleaf. But Gordy was still too strong, and managed to power out and leave the ring. Malenko followed Gordy to the floor, where he was confronted by Melina. When Malenko continued to pursue Gordy, Melina was knocked to the floor, and appeared to injure her ankle. Malenko foolishly stopped to assist her, and Gordy turned him inside out with a powerful lariat. Gordy rolled Malenko back into the ring and delivered a powerbomb, and Malenko was an easy victim for the pinfall as Melina rose to her feet gracefully and with a smirk. Lance Russell: My, oh, my! Bam Bam Gordy is here! And I must agree with Melina, this is one of the baddest men in the business. She is collecting quite a bit of talent, and with her mean streak I sense nothing but trouble ahead. And speaking of trouble, here it comes now! LACEY is here, with her little errand boy COLT CABANA in tow. We're ready to see Cabana in action, so let's head back to the ring. COLT CABANA (w/ LACEY) pinned BRUTUS BEEFCAKE(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Cabana strutted to the ring with newfound confidence, accompanied by the lovely Lacey, and made short work of Beefcake. After clobbering Brutus with a bionic elbow, Colt took control, beating down Beefcake and finishing him with a pair of Colt .45s. Lance Russell: There you go. Once again, the lady has warped the mind of the wrestler and Cabana is more aggressive than ever. And there is no sign of JIMMY JACOBS anywhere in the arena. Somehow, I don't think we've seen the end of Jimmy's unrequited love... GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATIONTHE IRISH AIRBORNE (JAKE & DAVE CRIST w/ MELINA) defeated JIMMY RAVE & BRENT ALBRIGHT(Referee: Heather Owens) In a rematch from the bloodbath at Fall Brawl, the Crist Brothers hooked up with Rave & Albright in another intense confrontation. The brothers started strong, isolating Albright in the ring for a long time and wearing him down with dropkicks from Dave and double-team manuvers. A weary Albright managed to tag in Rave, but Jake hurled him out of the ring and plastered him with an incredible plancha! The action returned to the ring, but Heather Owens was knocked to the floor and the Crist Brothers took advantage. Melina entered the ring and blasted Rave with a low blow, setting up Dave for the Irish Air Raid which proved to be the finisher. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Melina has spoken the truth! She is a vicious woman and she is a woman on a mission! There will be hell to pay for anyone who stands in her way! Fans, we have two more exciting matches on tonight's program. Let's head to a break now! But before we go, I am pleased to announce a very special event at intermission. As you may know, our own BRYAN DANIELSON has captured the NWA Junior X-Division Championship! He will be leaving the Heartland, but COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF has arranged for Danielson to make one last appearance, tonight, in this very arena! Bryan will be at the Heartland Souvenir Stand, displaying his title belt and signing autographs. And, in a show of support, newly crowned Midwest Champion AUSTIN ARIES will also be making an appearance with his title belt. So, take this opportunity to say farewell to one of the Heartland's finest! ***INTERMISSION***As we return to action, a video package is seen displaying last Monday's match between NIGEL McGUINESS and BOBO BRAZIL. As the action spills outside the ring, Nigel slams Bobo onto the ring steps. Bobo goes down, but Nigel keeps on the attack, putting the boots to Bobo until THE ROCK sprints to the ring to make the save. Rock and Nigel continue to brawl all around the arena until they were pulled apart by Heartland officials.THE ROCK and NIGEL McGUINESS battled to a double count-out(Referee: Danny Davis) Nigel and the Rock got down and dirty from the opening bell! McGuiness attempted to control the pace of the match with his European technique, but The Rock countered with hard-hitting blows to gain the advantage. Rock threw Nigel to the ring floor and began pummeling him. Danny Davis tried to get the action under control without success. As Rock's assault continued, WILLIAM REGAL sprinted to the ring and took up the fight for Nigel! Nigel and Regal pounded away at Rock, leaving him battered and beaten on the concrete floor as they departed together. Davis threw the match out and disqualified both wrestlers. Lance Russell: How about that? This feud is brewing deeper and deeper and the factions are growing as the battle lines are being drawn. And now Nigel has reinforcements with Regal here to watch his back! I think things between these stables will get worse before they get better. Now let's head to our main event! MAIN EVENT: NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCHLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen. it is now time for your main event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 60-minute time limit. This match is a qualifying match for the number one contenders' position to the NWA Heartland Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, weighing in at 215 pounds, from Gainesville, Georgia, THE PHENOMENAL AJ STYLES! And his opponent, hailing from Benton Harbor, Michigan, weighing in at 280 pounds, BOBO BRAZIL!BOBO BRAZIL pinned AJ STYLES(Referee: Heather Owens) AJ gave it his best shot, opening with a flurry of aerial moves before Bobo took over. Brazil hit AJ with a Coco Butt, and AJ fled the ring. But Bobo followed, outbrawling Styles and rolling him back into the ring. Bobo then delivered another Coco Butt and scored a clean pinfall to move on to the #1 contenders' match. Lance Russell: Well, AJ put up his best shot, but Bobo Brazil is just too big and too powerful for the Phenomenal One to overcome. Bobo moves ahead to the number one contenders' match. That caps off a fine night of action here at Adrenaline, fans, and we do thank you for joining us. Be sure to come back on Friday night for the next broadcast of Fury. Our main event will feature another qualifying match for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship as TAKESHI MORISHIMA takes on STING. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #82 Redbird Arena, Normal, Illinois September 28, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Redbird Arena in Normal, Illinois, on the campus of Illinois State University. We are in the home of the "Red Rage" with another exciting episode of Heartland Friday Night Fury! We are pleased to bring you a special night of action, including the in-ring debut of WILLIAM REGAL in our opening contest. Our main event tonight will feature another qualifying match for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship, as TAKESHI MORISHIMA takes on STING with a number one contenders' match on the line! Let's head to the ring for tonight's opening contest. JAMES GIBSON pinned WILLIAM REGAL(Referee: Danny Davis) In a spirited opening bout, Gibson and Regal squared off in a rugged encounter. Gibson and referee Davis nearly came to blows outside the ring as Davis tried to control the action. Regal took advantage and whipped Gibson into the steel ring steps, but Davis allowed the action to continue. Gibson then smartly rolled out of a knee drop and planted Regal with a swinging neckbreaker to score the pinfall! Lance Russell: Wow! Expectations were high for Regal in his debut match, but James Gibson is no pushover and refused to be taken lightly here tonight. Even when Regal was bending the rules, Gibson kept his focus and took advantage when the opportunity presented itself. NIGEL MCGUINESS pinned JAKE CRIST (w/ MELINA)(Referee: Heather Owens) The two friendly rivals squared off in their first encounter since Nigel's return to the Heartland, but this match took on a decidedly different tone. The competitors were exchanging moves fairly evenly until Melina got into a confrontation with Heather Owens. Jake smartly pitched Nigel out of the ring and nailed him with a senton splash, then whipped Nigel into the steel ring steps. It didn't take long for Nigel's temper to explode, countering Jake with a body slam onto the concrete floor! Heather regained enough control to get the action back into the ring, where Nigel delivered the Tower of London, but Melina pulled Jake's foot under the bottom rope to interrupt the count. As Jake staggered to his feet, Nigel mounted the turnbuckle and delivered a handstand dropkick into Jake's chest to finish the contest cleanly. After the decision, Nigel helped Jake to his feet, then glared at him and poked a finger in his chest. Jake got right back into the face of Nigel, but Melina pulled him away as Heather Owens stepped in front of Nigel until cooler heads prevailed.Lance Russell: How about that? The Crist Brothers have taken a much more aggressive approach since Nigel's last tour of duty here in the Heartland. You have to think that Nigel was caught off guard to face such an assault from an old friend. In the end, Nigel's experience enabled him to survive and emerge victorious. But what will be next for these two? It's tough to tell. THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (MARK & JAY w/ SARA DEL RAY) defeated KEVIN STEEN & EL GENERICO(Referee: Joe Kopasz) The team of Steen and Generico started the match effectively, as Steen overpowered Jay and controlled the action with frequent tags. Steen managed to manuver Jay into the Package Piledriver, but Mark broke up the pinfall. At this point, Sara decided to make her presence felt, climbing onto the ring apron and giving Steen a poke in the eyes! Steen was blinded, but managed to tag in Generico. The Briscoes took control, hitting the masked foe with a variety of double-team blows to weaken him before Mark finished the bout with a Cut-Throat Driver. After the match, COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF stormed into the ring and took the microphone. Koloff: Enough! Enough! You Briscoes have insulted the integrity of the Heartland for the final time. I declare a rematch for you with Steen and Generico with NO help from any such manager. You, Briscoes, will be fighting Steen and Generico in a scaffold match! Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! The Commissioner has declared a scaffold match for the Briscoes and Generico and Steen. This will be a match unlike anything the Heartland has ever seen! What a spectacle that will be. Fans, I don't know about you, but I am ready for a break. We'll go to intermission now. I could use a glass of warm milk. The good news is, we have a very special guest, a man who is a native of nearby Bloomington Illinois and needs no introduction. We once knew him as Edward W. Stratton III, the childlike son of one of the country's richest industrialists. He was father to Ricky Schroeder on the legendary television show, Silver Spoons, stop by and say hello to JOEL HIGGINS!***INTERMISSION***JIMMY RAVE & BRENT ALBRIGHT defeated DAVEY RICHARDS & JAMES GIBSON(Referee: Brady Boone) Albright dominated this match, overpowering both opponents. Richards got control long enough to deliver his DR Driver, but Albright powered out and the onslaught continued. A powerful and perfectly executed Half-Nelson Suplex from Albright to Richards ended the match abruptly but impressively. Lance Russell: Another impressive performance from a Heartland newcomer. Brent Albright is a big strong kid with a lot of ability and a lot of toughness, and I expect great things from him in the days to come. Now, let's head to the main event! MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCHLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 60-minute time limit. This match is a qualifying match for the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. The winner of this contest will face BOBO BRAZIL for a shot at the Heartland Heavyweight Title! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, weighing in at 255 pounds, from Venice Beach, California, this is STING! And his opponent, from Tokyo, Japan, weighing in at 297 pounds, here is TAKESHI MORISHIMA!STING sprints to the ring and is checked by Joe Kopasz. As Morishima is announced, the crowd buzzes with anticipation, but the Japanese star does not appear in the entry. After considerable confusion, referee HEATHER OWENS appears at the top of the ramp. With blood on her hands, she shouts to Joe Kopasz and waves him to the back. Kopasz sprints out of the ring area, followed closely by Sting.Lance Russell: Fans, there appears to be some confusion in the backstage area. I have just been informed that TAKESHI MORISHIMA has been injured! Let's get a camera back stage to check on the action. The camera comes on to reveal a flurry of activity involving officials and paramedics. Morishima is seen face down and unconscious on the floor of the locker room with a large gash on the back of his head. NIGEL MCGUINESS is nearby, screaming at IVAN KOLOFF and reporting that BOBO BRAZIL was responsible for the attack. Neither Bobo nor THE ROCK are present at the scene. The camera cuts to the back entrance, where THE ROCK and BOBO BRAZIL are seen hopping into a red convertible and speeding away from the arena.Ivan Koloff steps between Morishima and the camera.Koloff: Bobo Brazil! You will NOT get away with this crime! You will NOT be permitted in the Number 1 Contenders' match! Instead, you and the scoundrel Mr. Rock will have a NO DISQUALIFICATION tag team match next week on Friday Night Fury. Mr. Rock and Mr. Brazil will be facing NIGEL MCGUINESS and WILLIAM REGAL. Mr. Sting, you will take your place in the Number 1 Contenders' match, and the opponent will be the previous champion, DELIRIOUS!Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! Bobo has been ejected from the number one contenders' match! Sting and Delirious will be facing off for the title shot, while Bobo and The Rock will have to face two angry Brits, Nigel McGuiness and William Regal, in a no disqualification tag match next week on Fury. Commissioner Koloff has once again taken the bull by the horns and laid down the law here in Normal. It has been the night of Red Rage, no question about it! Fans, we thank you for joining us on this very eventful evening. We'll be back on Monday with another episode of Adrenaline. Our main event will be the Scaffold match! KEVIN STEEN and EL GENERICO will be high above the ring, battling it out with the BRISCOE BROTHERS. Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God Bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #83 Allstate Arena, Chicago, Illinois October 1, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to tonight's edition of Monday Night Adrenaline! I am your host, Lance Russell, coming to you live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. This fine facility has hosted three Wrestlemanias, and is now the site of a spectacular night of Heartland action. Our main event tonight will feature the Heartland's first-ever scaffold match! COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF has demanded it, and tonight THE BRISCOE BROTHERS will be squaring off against KEVIN STEEN and EL GENERICO atop the 20-foot high platform, where new manager SARA DEL RAY will be helpless to assist. Let's head to the ring for our opening contest. BJ WHITMER (w/ SARA DEL RAY) pinned RODERICK STRONG(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Before the match, Whitmer cornered his former tag team partner Strong in the locker room, trying to convince him to abandon his tag partner AUSTIN ARIES and join with the Briscoes' faction. When Strong refused, the conversation became heated and the former partners came to blows! Strong actually got the best of the exchange before officials broke up the brawl and forced both men to head to the ring. When the action finally got started, it was Strong who took the early advantage and executed several crisp backbreakers. Whitmer appeared to be weakening before Sara got involved, tripping up Roderick as he bounced off the ropes. Whitmer took advantage, catching Roderick in the Exploder '98 and escaping with the victory! Lance Russell: How about that? Strong perhaps learned his lesson about the value of Sara Del Ray. With his partner Aries fighting an injury and defending the Midwest title, you have to wonder who will be watching Strong's back. Tonight was the prime example, as Roderick held his own in the backstage brawl, but lost the edge in the ring when Sara got involved, and ultimately came out on the short end of the stick. THE IRISH AIRBORNE (DAVE & JAKE CRIST w/ MELINA) defeated GREG VALENTINE & BRUTUS BEEFCAKE by countout(Referee: Heather Owens) It was all Airborne in this tag match, as Brutus was trapped in the ring and roughed up by a variety of double-team moves by the Irish. After the Airborne planted Beefcake with a double wheelbarrow spinebuster, Dave pitched him out of the ring and drilled him with a falling cross-body block! Brutus was unable to make it back to the ring for the 10-count, and the Irish took home the win. As Melina and the Crist Brothers celebrated in the ring, Melina's new charge TERRY GORDY came to ringside and assaulted the fallen Beefcake! Gordy slammed Beefcake onto the concrete floor, then picked up the steel ring steps and smashed them onto Brutus' exposed right knee! Beefcake screamed in pain as Melina and the Airborne held off Heather and Valentine while Gordy did his damage.Lance Russell: How pathetic is that? Melina has a new toy and she has been dying to show it off. Guess what, Terry Gordy is a big tough guy. We all know that, but he hasn't proved anything by kicking a man who is down. I am disgusted! BATISTA pinned DELIRIOUS(Referee: Danny Davis) Batista simply overpowered the crafty former champion and dominated most of the match. Delirious caught a near-fall when he caught Batista with a boot to the head as Batista charged into the turnbuckle, but it appeared that Danny Davis executed a slow count! Delirious was frustrated, but followed up with the Shadows Over Hell. Batista kicked out cleanly and soon regained control, crushing Delirious with the spear before finishing him off with a running powerslam. Lance Russell: Wow! Batista has underachieved in the Heartland since day one. I certainly hope he hasn't taken to paying off the officials to get back on the winning track. When he finally gets the momentum going, no one in the Heartland will be safe from this animal. Okay, fans, let's head to a break now. When we return, we will have a special interview segment with LILLIAN GARCIA as she interview Heartland superstar JIMMY JACOBS. You will want to be sure and check out the Heartland Concession Stand while we are away. We have some great treats for you tonight, including doughnuts, bagels, and muffins supplied by STAN MIKITA'S DONUT SHOP. Don't you dare miss it! ***INTERMISSION***As we return from the break, LILLIAN GARCIA is seated in a chair in the ring. JIMMY JACOBS enters the ring, wearing a dog collar with a long chain attached. He walks past the empty chair across from Lillian, and sits on the mat at her feet.Lillian: Ummm... okay... welcome, Jimmy, to the interview segment. What's on your mind? Jimmy: Lacey. Lillian continues to hold the microphone out to Jimmy for a moment, then shrugs when Jimmy says nothing else..Lillian: Okay... you still have Lacey on your mind... I think we get the point. So, what's with the dog collar? Jimmy: I can't take it any more! I finally got COLT CABANA into the cage, and he ran away before I could get my hands on him. So now, I will challenge Colt to the match he can't run away from- a dog collar match! Lillian: Wow! I think I see the picture. But Colt has already beaten you in the cage match. Why would he fight you again? Jimmy: Because if he doesn't, the whole Heartland will realize he is a coward. So I challenge Colt to a dog collar match, LOSER LEAVES TOWN!Lillian: That's a pretty gutsy move, Jimmy. So, the challenge has been laid down- Jimmy Jacobs and Colt Cabana is a loser leaves town dog collar match! The only question is, will Cabana accept the challenge? Let's head back to the ring for the rest of tonight's action. STING & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI defeated NIGEL MCGUINESS & WILLIAM REGAL(Referee: Brady Boone) Sting and Claudio looked sharp in this match, tagging in and out frequently and wearing down both opponents. Nigel took most of the abuse and finally succumbed to the Scorpion Deathlock after a couple of rescues by Regal. Lance Russell: Bravo! Sting and Claudio are really gelling as a unit. They play to each others' strengths extremely well! Both these guys have had a tough time being successful in the tag team division. Perhaps if they continue to work together, they can reach the upper echelon of the tag ranks and challenge for the belts. THE ROCK pinned JIMMY JACOBS(Referee: Heather Owens) This match was more tightly contested then observers originally expected. Jacobs withstood Rock's opening flurry, then surprised him with a spear to catch a near fall! Rock recovered quickly, and the battle continued in back-and-forth fashion for several minutes. Rock finally prevailed, levelling Jacobs with a spinebuster and finishing him off with the Rock Bottom. Lance Russell: The Rock was heavily favored in that matchup, but Jacobs acquitted himself nicely. If he performs that well against Colt Cabana, then he just might get to stick around for a while longer here in the Heartland. Well, fans, it is finally time to see this big scaffold match between STEEN & GENERICO and the BRISCOE BROTHERS. I must admit I am more than a little nervous about this contest. It is a dangerous, dangerous situation for all four of these men- but IVAN KOLOFF has demanded it, and the Briscoes' manager SARA DEL RAY is none too pleased. She is already pacing around the outside of the ring as her men climb the scaffolding. Joe Kopasz will be observing this match from the floor, but the action will be 20 feet above the ring as these two teams get it on! MAIN EVENT: TAG TEAM SCAFFOLD MATCHTHE BRISCOE BROTHERS defeated KEVIN STEEN & EL GENERICO(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In a very exciting contest, the Briscoes held off Steen and Generico to survive the elimination scaffold match. Steen and Mark started the action with an intense brawl, pounding away at each other until both men lost balance and rolled to the edge of the scaffold! The men kicked away at each other, until Steen lost control and slipped off the scaffolding. El Generico was quick to respond, taking over on both Briscoes as the crowd went into a frenzy! After blasting Jay with a drop kick, Generico hit an Ole kick on Mark! Mark was badly staggered, and El Generico followed with a suicide plancha which sent Mark sailing off the platform and crashing to the mat! With only Jay and Generico remaining, the action picked up another notch. Generico came at Jay with everything in his arsenal and plastered Jay with a Rocker Dropper! Generico tried for a body slam, but Jay managed to escape out the back door. Jay caught Generico with a gorilla press, slamming him powerfully onto the platform, then applied the Falcon Arrow to send the masked opponent tumbling off the scaffold to finish the match. Lance Russell: Oh, my goodness! The Briscoes were lucky to get away with their hides intact after that match. That was as brutal as expected. El Generico went down hard and it looks like he will need some help to get off the canvas. Steen looks pretty banged up as well. Mark hit the mat awkwardly, but has been able to get up and around under his own power. The Briscoes are your winner, but from my standpoint it is clear that match took a lot out of all four participants. That wraps up a very exciting night of action from Chicago tonight, fans. We thank you for joining us. Be sure to come back on Friday night for our next episode of Fury. We will see World Champion SAMOA JOE on the card defending his title! Don't you dare miss it! Until then, for Lillian Garcia and Commissioner Ivan Koloff, this is Lance Russell signing off and saying, God bless and we'll see you at the matches!

NWA Heartland Card #84 SIU Arena, Carbondale, Illinois October 5, 2007 Lance Russell: Good evening, fans of the Heartland, and welcome to a very special edition of Friday Night Fury! NWA Heartland is celebrating its ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY tonight! We are coming to you live from the campus of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois! Our main event will be well suited to this occasion as the NWA World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line. The reigning champion is a former Heartland Heavyweight Champion, SAMOA JOE! Joe is excited to be back in the Heartland to defend his title, but his challenger has not yet been announced. COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF is on hand to announce tonight's challenger. Ivan Koloff: Thank you, Mr. Russell. It is my honor to be here tonight. I congratulate you, Mr. Russell, for being such an important part of NWA Heartland as we celebrate one year of wrestling action! After meetings with the Heartland Championship Committee, we have selected tonight's challenger for the World Championship! After defeating our former champion Monday night in Chicago, the committee has selected BATISTA to face Samoa Joe in tonight's main event. Lance Russell: Wow! The animal Batista versus Samoa Joe tonight! Batista has really been an underachiever in the minds of most observers, but he did defeat DELIRIOUS earlier this week, and he is certainly capable of beating any opponent on any given night. What a great match that should be. Now let's head to the ring for our opening bout! TONY ATLAS defeated CHRIS JERICHO by submission(Referee: Brady Boone) Mr. USA dominated this match, overpowering Jericho from the opening bell. The Carbondale crowd was amazed at the show of strength from the big man as he tossed Jericho around like a rag doll and finished him with a full nelson. Lance Russell: A fine debut for a powerhouse wrestler in Tony Atlas. Here's a guy who is powerful, athletic, and beloved by fans all across the US and around the world. As much as the Heartland is excited to see the return of Chris Jericho, tonight he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and Tony put him away with relative ease. JAY BRISCOE (w/ SARA DEL RAY) pinned CHRIS HERO(Referee: Danny Davis) Sara Del Ray once again proved her value to the Briscoe family. Hero started strong, using his size and strength advantage get the advantage. Briscoe smartly slid out of the ring, where Sara levelled Hero with a powerful Yakuza kick as Jay distracted Danny Davis. Hero was stunned, and Briscoe took control, hitting the Falcon Arrow twice to secure the victory. Lance Russell: What a load of crap! This Sara Del Ray has been nothing but trouble from day one. Both the Briscoes are perfectly capable of taking care of business inside the ring, but their frustration over losing the tag titles certainly does not warrant tactics like this. I am disgusted! CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (w/ ALLISON DANGER) pinned CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI(Referee: Heather Owens) The match began amidst controversy, as Daniels and Claudio had a dust-up outside of the ring. COMMISSIONER IVAN KOLOFF intervened to break up the brawl and declared a No Countout Match! Both men took liberties under the loosened rules, but it was the Fallen Angel who came out on top of the violent brawl. Daniels rolled Claudio into the ring and delivered the Angel's Wings to finish the beating. Lance Russell: The Fallen Angel appears to be back on track! He has hit a rough patch recently, but Daniels has been one of the Heartland's top performers over the first year of our history. It is only fitting that he is here tonight and delivers an impressive performance. Now we will head to intermission on this festive occasion. When we return, SARA DEL RAY has asked for time to discuss her plans for the future. I am not Sara's biggest fan, but we will certainly hear what she has to say. While we are away, be sure to visit the Heartland Souvenir Stand! In honor of this special occasion, we have a lot of great Heartland T-shirts, DVD's, and other memorabilia available. The entire Championship Committee is on hand to sign autographs, so stop by and say hello to MIKE GOLIC, CHUCK NORRIS, and the lovely COURTENEY COX!***INTERMISSION***Lance Russell: Welcome back, fans! Hope you enjoyed the festivities at intermission on this momentous occasion. Sara Del Ray will be joining me at the announce table in just a few moments. Before she arrives, she has asked the Heartland technical crew to show a video clip. A video replay of the steel cage showdown from Heartland Havoc XI is displayed. As COLT CABANA escapes the cage, leaving JIMMY JACOBS alone in defeat, the voice of Lance Russell is heard on the broadcast as he proclaims:"...and poor Jimmy Jacobs- look at that sap, on his knees in the ring, broken-hearted and sobbing like a little girl."Sara Del Ray appears at the announce table. She stands over Lance Russell and shrieks.Sara: Sobbing like a little girl? You listen to me, Lance Russell! Girls in this sport do not sob and we do not cry! That is the EXACT reason why I am here- to prove to the world that the time is here for the women of the wrestling world to step up! The whole time I was helping the Briscoes take out the competition- you foolishly assumed that it was a MAN behind the mask! And now you want to bad-mouth women for the entire Heartland audience- on a pay-per-view? It is time for you to learn your lesson, you stupid neanderthal! Sara steps behind the table before Lance can get out of his chair. She steps forward and smacks Lance with a powerful Yakuza kick! Lance falls out of his chair to the floor, his glasses flying off his face. The chair collapses and papers fly as Lance goes to the floor behind the table. Sara grabs the table and turns it over on top of Russell, then flexes her biceps proudly and leaves the ring area. Streams of officials, wrestlers, and paramedics rush to the ring to tend to the fallen announcer. Sara walks through the concerned onlookers non-chalantly, smirking as she returns to the locker room. A gurney is called to ringside. Russell is placed on a backboard, lying motionless with a trail of blood flowing down the side of his face. The crowd sits in shocked silence as Lance is quickly wheeled out of the arena. Confusion prevails at ringside. Championship Committee member MIKE GOLIC picks up a headset.Mike Golic: Fans, this has been a shocking scene! What kind of person would attack a guy like Lance Russell? He is the most beloved figure in the entire Heartland. Not to mention the fact that he is well into his sixties and completely defenseless out here. I have been asked by Ivan Koloff to finish out the broadcast, so here I am. We still have three more matches on the card, and the Commish says we need to go on with the show. While we collect ourselves, we have another video package for you to enjoy, then we'll get back to the matches. A video package detailing the feud between NIGEL McGUINESS and THE ROCK plays. Involvement of BOBO BRAZIL and WILLIAM REGAL is highlighted. The assault on TAKESHI MORISHIMA, allegedly perpetrated by Brazil, completes the package. Finally, the camera cuts to the ring and action resumes.WILLIAM REGAL & NIGEL McGUINESS defeated THE ROCK & BOBO BRAZIL(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In a tremendous battle, Nigel McGuiness single-handedly brought his team back from the jaws of defeat and pinned Bobo Brazil! Bobo and The Rock dominated William Regal at the outset, laughing and taunting as they pounded Regal from pillar to post. When Rock nailed the Rock Bottom, it looked like curtains for Regal, but Nigel made the save and finally tagged in to the exhausted Regal. After McGuiness nailed Rock with the Guvnor's Crumpet, Bobo tagged back into the match. Nigel proceeded to undress Bobo with a wrestling clinic. Twisting Brazil like a pretzel, Nigel took full control and finally finished the big man with the Tower of London as Regal mustered the strength to keep The Rock from making the save. Mike Golic: Would you look at that? This guy McGuiness took down a much bigger opponent with superior technique. You gotta hand it to the guy for a great performance. NWA HEARTLAND #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHSTING pinned DELIRIOUS(Referee: Brady Boone) The top contenders tore up Carbondale in a very entertaining bout! The action was back and forth as Sting tried to overpower Delirious, but the masked man kept him off-balance with this speed and unorthodox manuvers. Sting connected with the Splash, but Delirious ducked out of the ring and dashed wildly around the arena. Sting was amused, but Delirious caught him off guard and twisted him into the Cobra Stretch. Sting rolled to the bottom rope, but Delirious immediately nailed him with the Shadows Over Hell for another near fall! Sting finally regained his composure, reversing the action with a running facecrusher and delivering another Stinger Splash to pin him cleanly. Mike Golic: A great victory for Sting! This guy is a veteran in the ring and he wasn't about to lose his focus in a big game situation. That Delirious is one goofy dude, but he is a fine wrestler in his own right and I am sure he'll be back at the top of the ladder before too long. And finally, folks, it's time for the main event between two big powerhouse guys- just the way I like it! Good old-fashioned, smashmouth rasslin without the flipping and flopping. I can't wait to see these two in action! NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! Your referee for this contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challenger, from Reston, Virginia, weighing in at 317 pounds, here is "THE ANIMAL", BATISTA! And his opponent is your reigning and defending NWA Heavyweight Champion of the World! Hailing from Orange County, California, weighing in at 280 pounds, SAMOA JOE!BATISTA pinned SAMOA JOE to win the World Championship!(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Observers thought Batista was a decided underdog in this match, but the Animal withstood the Coquina Clutch twice and recorded a stunning victory over the reigning champion! Batista came at Joe with an all-out brawl, but Joe stood toe-to-toe as the intensity of this match rapidly escalated. The match went to the floor on several occasions, but Joe Kopasz smartly allowed the action to continue as both men gave as good as they got. Batista got the best of Joe after several exchanges, slamming the champion's head into the steel steps to stun him. Bloodied, Joe refused to allow Kopasz to even check his lacerated forehead. Joe launched himself at Batista, but the Animal caught Joe coming in with a huge Batista Bomb and put him down for the three-count! After the decision, Joe remained down on the canvas as Batista celebrated. The Animal took the belt and mounted the middle turnbuckle, raising his title overhead as the fans cheered. Heartland wrestlers streamed into the ring in celebration, led by STING, CHRIS JERICHO, and RICKY STEAMBOAT. IVAN KOLOFF entered the scene to congratulate the new champion as the Anniversary streamers filled the air. Batista then returned to the ring to check on Samoa Joe, who was actually helped to his feet by Heartland wrestlers. Joe offered Batista a handshake before leaving the ring with disappointment. Mike Golic: What a terrific match! This is the most exciting contest I have ever seen. What a great way to end the evening after all the controversy. It's a grand shame that Lance Russell couldn't be here to witness this amazing spectacle. Here's hoping Lance is all right. I have been told that he was taken to Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Our thoughts and prayers will be with him throughout the weekend. I guess at this point, it's time for me to say good night. Thanks for watching!

NWA Heartland Card #85 Ervin J. Nutter Center, Dayton, Ohio October 8, 2007 Ivan Koloff: Hello, my friends. Thank you for joining with us to watch Monday Night Adrenaline. It is sad for me to say that my good friend LANCE RUSSELL is still in hospital in Illinois after his head was kicked last week. Things in our Heartland are not so much organized right now since the NWA has announced the splitting. We will have some good matches for you tonight to watch. I have signed a match for this evil one SARA DEL RAY to wrestle in handicap against a fine ladies' tag team, LACEY and RAIN. We also have the NWA World Tag Team Champions here tonight so the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS can be challenged by our CALGARY FLYERS. Finally, I have brought a special guest announcer tonight who is great announcer and great wrestling fan. Please welcome our special guest announcer from Cincinnati Reds, MARTY BRENNAMAN.Marty Brennaman: Thank you, Ivan Koloff. I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of Monday Night Adrenaline! You better believe that my adrenaline is flowing for this momentous occasion. I have loved the sport of wrestling ever since my childhood in North Carolina. Let's get this action started! Ivan Koloff: One more announcement before we start, sir. As the result of the injury to Lance Russell, I have decided I am not fit to continue as the Commissioner of Heartland. I am submitting my resignation, effective immediately. Marty Brennaman sits in stunned silence as Ivan Koloff removes his headset and walks slowly to the locker room.Marty Brennaman: Fans, I am stunned. I guess Ivan Koloff considers himself a failure as Commissioner since he was unable to protect Lance Russell. I would personnally beg to differ, as I believe Koloff has done an outstanding job in a very difficult position. But, the show must go on, and we have our first match on tap, so let's get it started! LACEY & RAIN defeated SARA DEL RAY(Referee: Heather Owens) Sara got a little bit of comeuppance in the opening handicap match against Rain and Lacey. Lacey did most of the damage, but tagged in frequently to Rain whenever Sara tried to rally. Sara never did get any meaningful offense going, while the "Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew" wore her down. It was finally Lacey who finished the match with an agonizing Boston Crab, forcing Sara to tap out. Marty Brennaman: Whatever that was, I'm glad it's over. I have never been a fan of women wrestling. Luckily I am just a guest here, because I would hate to end up like Lance Russell with my head kicked in. Now let's get to the real action in a good old-fashioned grudge match as the big Texan TERRY GORDY takes on GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE.A video clip from last week's Monday Night Adrenaline is played, showing the conclusion to the Dream Team match against the Irish Airborne. Beefcake screamed in pain as Melina and the Airborne held off Heather and Valentine while Gordy did his damage.TERRY "BAM BAM" GORDY (w/ MELINA) defeated GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE(Referee: Brady Boone) This match went no better for Valentine than last week's confrontation. Except for a few brief rallies, Valentine was powerless against the monster Gordy, who smirked and laughed through the match before finishing Valentine with three consecutive powerbombs. Marty Brennaman: That didn't take long. Frankly, there was little doubt in my mind that Gordy was here tonight to put Valentine on the shelf. Who knows when we will see either Valentine or his partner Beefcake again. You gotta hand it to Melina- she called her shot and she came strong with a top tag team and a monster enforcer. That, fans, is one dangerous lady. LOSER LEAVES TOWN SHOWDOWN: DOG COLLAR MATCHCOLT CABANA pinned JIMMY JACOBS(Referee: Joe Kopasz) Jacobs came out with his usual fury, attacking Cabana the instant the collar was applied and whipping him viciously with the chain. Jacobs kept the pressure on, hurling Cabana to the floor and choking him down with the chain. Cabana appeared to be out on his feet as Jacobs hurled him back into the ring. In a last-ditch effort, Cabana reversed a whip to the turnbuckle and Jacobs smacked into the corner hard. Colt turned the tables, whipping Jacobs with the chain and bloodying him badly before applying a devastating Colt .45 to pin Jacobs cleanly. Marty Brennaman: As we say in the business, "Ain't Love Grand?" I guess it is if your name is Colt Cabana. And for Jimmy Jacobs, I guess this means farewell. This is a man's world, so take your beating like a man and good riddance. Let's go to the intermission now, folks. When we come back, we will see two championship matches! First off, Heartland Heavyweight Champion RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT will be challenged by the dynamic STING. And in our main event, the age-old rivalry will be renewed between the CALGARY FLYERS and THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, with the NWA World Tag Team Championship up for grabs! ***INTERMISSION***During the break, a ruckus develops in the locker room area. BOBO BRAZIL and STING are seen brawling around the locker room. Bobo picks up a weight belt and is ready to flog Sting, but IVAN KOLOFF jumps between the two men. The belt smacks across Koloff's head and knocks him to the floor. Ivan quickly regains his feet and lunges at Bobo, taking him down to the floor. Koloff and Brazil engage in a fierce struggle, punching and screaming at each other as RENE GOULET and his elite security forces try vainly to separate the two men. Sting makes it to his feet as RICKY STEAMBOAT appears on the scene. Steamboat calmly puts his arm around Sting and directs him to the ring as the brawl between Koloff and Brazil begins to cool down.Marty Brennaman: What a titanic struggle! Ivan Koloff just took a bullet for his good friend Sting, and probably saved the championship match at that very moment. Even after resigning his position, Koloff continues to be a positive force to keep this wacky federation running smoothly. Now, let's see the match! STING defeated RICKY "THE DRAGON" STEAMBOAT to win the NWA HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP(Referee: Danny Davis) After the locker room brawl, Sting came out a little sluggish, and Steamboat took the early edge. The Dragon laid into Sting with a flurry of martial arts manuvers, leaving Sting backpedalling. Stinger fled the ring for a breather, but Dragon would have none of it. Steamboat launched himself onto Sting, who sidestepped and sent Ricky crashing into the security rail. Sting immediately took advantage, pulling Steamboat into the Scorpion Deathlock and forcing him to submit! Marty Brennaman: Sting wins! Sting captures the Heartland Heavyweight Championship! It has been a long dry spell for the California surfer dude, but he has made it back again to the top of the mountain! Our congratulations to your new Champion! Stinger has been through so much adversity the past few months, but he has fought his way through it and he truly deserves this moment. And now, fans, it has all come down to the main event! Let's go to the ring for the introductions by LILLIAN GARCIA.MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPLillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your MAIN EVENT of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 60-minute time limit. This match is for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Your referee for his contest is Heartland Senior Official Joe Kopasz. Introducing first, the challengers. This team is your current NWA Heartland Tag Team Champions. At a total combined weight of 451 pounds, collectively known as the CALGARY FLYERS, here are OWEN HART and BRIAN PILLMAN! And their opponents are your reigning and defending NWA Tag Team Champions of the world! They are accompanied to the ring by the manager, JAMES E. CORNETTE. At a total combined weight of 458 pounds, "BEAUTIFUL" BOBBY EATON and "SWEET" STAN LANE, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS!THE CALGARY FLYERS (OWEN HART & BRIAN PILLMAN) defeated THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS by disqualification(Referee: Joe Kopasz) In a marathon bout, the Flyers and Express went back and forth repeatedly. The faster Flyers controlled much of the action, but frequent tags by the Express kept them from suffering too much damage. The Midnights got Pillman in trouble with a double flapjack, and Lane nearly pinned him with a superkick, but Hart made the save. Pillman finally made the hot tag to Owen, who took over on both Midnights as the Dayton crowd went wild. Lane took a powder to the outside, but Owen nailed him with a flying clothesline to keep the pressure on. Joe Kopasz managed to get the action back into the ring, where Owen nailed Lane with an enzuigiri and made the cover, but Eaton interrupted the count. In desperation, Lane pitched Owen out of the ring, forcing Kopasz to call for the disqualification and award the match to the Flyers. Marty Brennaman: What a travesty of justice, fans. The Midnight Express and that scoundrel Cornette know exactly what the rules are, and they know exactly how to play those rules to the best of their advantage. It will take a monumental effort indeed for anyone to get the belts away from that shiftless duo. So that's it from Dayton tonight, fans. I can't tell you what a privilege and a pleasure it has been to bring you tonight's action. Our thoughts and our prayers go out to LANCE RUSSELL and we hope he is back in action soon. I don't know what will happen next in Heartland wrestling. We have no Commissioner, no lead announcer, and a talent draft coming up in less than 48 hours, so stay tuned!

NWA Heartland Card #86 Convocation Center, Athens, Ohio October 12, 2007 Chuck Norris: Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to tonight's episode of Friday Night Fury. I am Chuck Norris, representing the Heartland Championship Committee. We have just come off a very successful draft and we are looking forward to bringing in some exciting new talent. Lance Russell remains out of action, but the Heartland will continue to present plenty of exciting matches as we reorganize our championship structure. We are pleased that STING continues to carry the Heartland Heavyweight Championship. Out first order of business will be to select a number one contender to the championship. So tonight, we will begin a 32-man tournament to choose the next challenger to Sting's title. Let's get the action started. JAKE CRIST (w/ MELINA) pinned BG JAMES-Timely interference by Melina aided Jake's cause, and the Flying Irishman's aerial tactics wore down BG. Jake pinned BG cleanly after a well-executed double shot. As Referee Joe Kopasz prepares the ring for the next match, the music of Also sprach Zarathustra fills the Convocation Center. RIC FLAIR, ARN ANDERSON, TULLY BLANCHARD, and BARRY WINDHAM stride to the ring, accompanied by TRACI BROOKS. Flair takes the microphone.Flair: !!!! Ohio University! One of the greatest party schools in alllllll the Heartland! The Nature Boy is proud to be here in the finest federation in the NWA. I brought my pals, the FOUR HORSEMEN. I brought the finest piece of arm candy in wrestling today, TRACI BROOKS. And before you know it, all the gold in the Heartland will be right here in the hands of the Horsemen, baby! Chuck Norris, you and your championship committee knew exactly what you were doing on draft day, bringing in Ric Flair in the very first round to light this federation on fire. It's all about the Horsemen, daddy-o! !! As Flair and the Horsemen exit the ring, the music of "Roll On" by The Living End blares over the sound system. NIGEL MCGUINESS strides to the ring and stands face to face with Ric Flair. McGuiness: With all due respect, Mr. Flair... I have truly admired the magnificent career which you have had. But before you get too full of yourselves, allow me to remind you that the number one draft pick of the Heartland was me- Nigel McGuiness! Flair: You listen to me, you little spikey-headed punk! No one- and I mean NO ONE- comes in to this ring and gets in the face of the Nature Boy. You understand me? McGuiness: Yes, of course I do. My dear mother always taught me to respect my elders. But sir, you must know that Nigel McGuiness has been to the top of the mountain in the NWA. Every territory has begged me to sign their contracts. And that is precisely why I was selected to be the number one man in the Heartland. Flair: Elders? Why you little Billy Idol wannabe, I oughta break you in half- Before the tensions can escalate, CHUCK NORRIS sprints to the ring and steps between Flair and McGuiness.Norris: All right, boys, let's settle ourselves. The Heartland is proud to have both of you under contract. So why don't we settle this like men? This Monday night, on Adrenaline, our main event will be Nigel McGuiness versus Ric Flair. The winner of that match will receive a shot at the Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Now you two shake on it like men and we'll see you on Monday Night. Nigel steps forward and eyes Flair intently as the Nature Boy stares daggers. McGuiness offers his hand, and after a moment, Flair accepts the handshake and departs with the Horsemen.TULLY BLANCHARD (w/ TRACI BROOKS) pinned BOBBY FULTON-Blanchard made particularly effective use of dirty tactics, repeatedly choking down Fulton with a small chain fron his tights until Fulton was forced to succumb. TERRY GORDY (w/ MELINA) pinned MIL MASCARAS-Mascaras, the Ohio-Con champion, dominated the early portion of the match with his aerial and submission moves, but ultimately Gordy overpowered the Mexican star and pinned him after a pair of powerbombs. AJ STYLES pinned MARK BRISCOE (w/ SARA DEL RAY)-In a lengthy and highly competitive match, AJ ultimately took control with his flying tactics and Mark was in deep trouble. It looked like curtains for Briscoe when Styles crushed him with a Pele kick, prompting Sara to climb to the ring apron. Unfazed, AJ nailed Sara with the Pele, then finished Mark with the Air Raid Crash for a clean pinfall. Chuck Norris: Ladies and gentlemen, the NWA Board of Directors has just informed me that there is a problem with the Heartland roster. As a result of the trade on Wednesday, we are now over the limit of competitors! To resolve this situation, we will conduct one final match this evening. This will be a no-disqualification contest. The winner of the match will receive the final Heartland contract, while the loser will be released from the federation. So, Mr. Kopasz, if you please, let's bring our two competitors to the ring. MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND CONTRACT MATCHMICHAEL "PS" HAYES pinned MIKE ROTUNDA-In this no-disqualification bout, Hayes went hardcore, dropping Rotunda with a set of brass knuckles for a clean victory. Chuck Norris: Fans, this concludes our show for this evening. Before we go, I have two announcements. First, the Heartland is accepting applications for the positions of television host and Commissioner! And finally, don't forget to join us on Monday night for Adrenaline. The tournament will continue, and we'll see the showdown match between RIC FLAIR and NIGEL McGUINESS for a shot at the Midwest Championship!

STEVE WILLIAMS pinned TIGER MASK-The big Sooner was too powerful for his high-flying foe, dominating the action outside of the ring and crushing Tiger Mask with the Oklahoma Stampede. Dr. Death takes the ringside microphone.Williams: Fans! You all know that I am an Oklahoma boy, born and bred. Cleveland is about the last place on earth I care to be. Whoever drafted me to this stinking Heartland federation is gonna have some explaining to do. So I am gonna kick butt and get out of this god-forsaken place as soon as I can. My goal here is to win some gold, get a world title shot, and get out! TERRY GORDY! My man! Get down to this ring and let's get started after the tag belts! Terry Gordy appears at the top of the ramp, accompanied by MELINA.Williams: Come on, Bam Bam- leave the broad. We have work to do! Melina takes Gordy by the hand, but Gordy pulls away and joins Dr. Death in the ring. Melina scowls. Her eyes narrow and she turns and leaves the stage in a huff.Gordy: Hit the bricks, toots! What are you gonna do? Send the IRISH AIRBORNE after me? You are nothing without me, Melina. Me and Doc are headed to the top of the tag ranks. BARRY WINDHAM (w/ TRACI BROOKS) pinned JESSE "THE BODY" VENTURA -Ventura dominating the opening moments of the match with power moves, but was surprised by Windham with a Flying Lariat off the ropes for the pinfall. DUSTY RHODES and ARN ANDERSON (w/ TRACI BROOKS) battled to a double count-out-These bitter enemies engaged in a fierce brawl for the ages! Dusty used his Bionic Elbow repeatedly, and nearly made AA tap out to the figure-four before he reached the bottom rope. Arn escaped from the ring, then nailed Dusty with a Gourd Buster on the arena floor. Both men launched into each other as Danny Davis made the 10-count. The brawling continued after the decision until Rhodes picked Anderson up and dropped him throat-first onto the steel security rail. Arn went down to the floor clutching his throat as Dusty stood over him and taunted. The scene shifts backstage, where the Championship Committee continues to meet. MIKE GOLIC is watching the monitor as Anderson is carted away from ringside on a stretcher.Golic: Man! This is one dangerous place to be! We need a Commissioner in here who can lay down the law! What do you think, Chuck? Norris: In my day, nobody could lay down the law better than the toughest cop on the streets- ERIK ESTRADA!Courteney Cox buries her face in her hands and shakes her head sadly.MAIN EVENT: MIDWEST CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS' MATCHNIGEL MCGUINESS pinned RIC FLAIR (w/ TRACI BROOKS)-In an intensely competitive match, Flair and Nigel went toe-to-toe inside the ring and out. Neither man backed down as Flair chopped away at McGuiness and worked over his knee, and Nigel responded with a barrage of forearms and lariats, leading to a stunning DDT. Nigel quickly went to the Tower of London, stunning Flair and capturing a victory! After the decision, the three members of the Championship Committee come to the ring together. Mike Golic takes the microphone.Golic: Congratulations to Nigel for an excellent victory! And good luck to you, pal, in your title match.
