How many Oblivion gates did you guys go into and de-activate?
I see that it's not necessary to do all of them, as the main story will settle the matter in time....but here I am, at my leisurely, 40+ hours already and not hurrying to get through the storyline.
I'm just curious as to how many gates you guys bothered with?

How many Oblivion gates did you guys go into and de-activate? Like 25ish if I remember right, counting the storyline gates. But most of those I just ran through as fast as I could casting heal spells when necessary, because the level design sucks.  |

I employed that same method from my 1st gate experience to the 2nd one.....I fought my way to the fight tower....then ran like hell up to the top and grabbed the stone. So that's pretty much the best way to go huh?  |

I don't remember that many gates though? BDS must've been closing the random ones that just pop up and keep popping up until you finish the quest. You could literally keep doing gates and do 100's of them. |

I was doing the random gates to get the Sigil Stones to socket into my equipment - especially for the Feather stones. Having a whole set of those for my random sprees of mass-murdering unsuspecting bandits made taking all of their blood-stained gear back to sell to my boy Calendil much easier. |

Took down another Gate last night....man, I feel like a coward, but running through the tower with an army of guys chasing you sure seems to be the way to go to get those sigil stones!

Next to getting 100% chameleon and beating on things with impunity, it's the best way to get through most of the game. 100% chameleon is much more fun, though. *WHACK* "What just hit me?
