Good card mwjergs. I had Bockwinkel wrestle Londos once in my fed too and Bockwinkel also won that match. Looking forward to seeing what happens next between the Road Warriors and the Vachons.

LWF Superstars September 15, 2000 Columbia, SC University Hall
VTR (Video footage of the Iron Sheik leaving Ted DiBiase’s Corporation and the appearance of Nikita Koloff. GS: Good evening and welcome to LWF Superstars. As you just saw if you did not join us last week, THE IRON SHEIK apparently has had a change of heart and has rejoined his old tag team partner and his group led by NIKITA BREZNIKOV. We hope to have some comments from Mr. DiBiase today. Also I must convey to the fans on the condition of JIM LONDOS who was unsuccessful in capturing the Television title from NICK BOCKWINKEL and was brutally assaulted after the match and was injured. As a result, the long time tag team partner of Mr. Londos, ANTONINO ROCCA has demanded a match with Nick Bockwinkel to avenge this injury. No word yet from BOBBY HEENAN’S camp. We have two World title match for you on today’s show, so let’s go to the ring!
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff (w/ Gen.Nikita Breznikov) vs. Koko B. Ware
Ware proved to be a tougher match than expected. He had Koloff on the ropes and got a near fall with a TOP ROPE DROPKICK. Koloff recovered and hit a LEG DROP and hooked the leg to secure the win. Winner: Koloff by pin @ 6:21
-Backstage- ( Ted DiBiase and Virgil are searching around the locker room areas until they find King Kong Bundy.) TD: Allright Bundy, now we need to get ready I have a plan- KKB: Wait a second. Plan for what? I’ve been trying to call you for two weeks and you don’t seem to answer phones. TD: That’s not important. KKB: It is to me. Why am I in tag team matches? Why am I not getting title shots that I deserve? TD: I’m busy. I have a lot to plan. KKB: That’s what I figured. I got an offer to head to Japan, make some real money and get to wrestle in high profile matches. So see you later. TD: What?! You can’t. I’ll double it. You can’t go know. I’ve got no one else! KKB: Glad I’m so important. Well, you must be used to this so – I quit! (Bundy lumbers away.) TD: I can’t believe this. I’ll sue. I have no one left Virgil. No one. Except. You. You are going to half to teach the Iron Sheik a lesson for us. V: Me? TD: Yes, now is your chance to shine and make a name for yourself. You can do it Meanwhile I need to make some calls.
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Masked Superstar (w/ Bobby Heenan) vs. “Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich
Both men were evenly matched and the bout could have gone either way. Von Erich reversed a whip and landed the DISCUS PUNCH and this brought Heenan up on the ring apron. Von Erich quickly grabbed him and tossed him into the Superstar. As the ref pushed Heenan back out of the ring, Von Erich landed another stiff DISCUS PUNCH to gain the victory. Winner: Von Erich by pin @ 13:47
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- LWF World Tag Team Title Match- The Road Warriors © vs. Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon
Hawk and Animal hit the ring before the bell sounded and the brawl was on. The ref had trouble at times keeping order and it wasn’t long before all four were in the ring again. Animal landed a POWERSLAM on the Butcher and then helped Hawk execute the DOOMSDAY DEVICE on the Mad Dog to retain the titles. The Warriors wanted to continue the fight but, Butcher dragged his brother out of the ring and they headed to the back. Winners: Road Warriors by pin @ 22:10
-Backstage- (Rick Rude stands before the camera alone.) RR: I’ve taken some time to think and leaving the Heenan family was the best move of my career. But, the problem is HARLEY RACE that I can’t seem to get you in a ring with me. You can use any excuse that you like but the fact remains that you are afraid of me. Now I’m finally going to get what I want on September 18th in Miami. I will not let the opportunity pass me by of not only embarrassing you, not only taking your title, but, shocking you as well. I may have a trick up my sleeve. I’ve got friends all over the world. But I have two very good friends in Miami and they will help me get what I want. See you then.
-LWF World Title Match – 45 Minute Time Limit- “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers (w/Sherri Martel) vs. Killer Kowalski (w/Jim Cornette)
The match was marred by constant interference. Kowalski had Rogers set up for a FLYING KNEEDROP and BRUISER BRODY was out at ringside to distract him. Rogers threw him off the top rope. The ref was finally able to expel Brody to the back. Later on, Rogers hit an ATOMIC DROP and this time RIC FLAIR was outside the ring. As the two jawed, Cornette threw his TENNIS RACKET to Kowalski. He slammed it on Rogers’ head and the ref rang the bell. Winner: Rogers by Disqualification @ 31:45

LWF Superstars September 22, 2000 Nashville, TN Municipal Auditorium
VTR (Video of the LWF House show in Miami where two titles changed hands.)
GS: Hello, wrestling fans and welcome. I have a bevy of information to convey to you and as you saw at the top of the program we have not one but two title changes in Miami, Florida. First, we have a new LWF Television champion and that is ANTONINO ROCCA. He bravely challenged the champion, NICK BOCKWINKEL after he severely injured his tag team partner, JIM LONDOS and it what was a fantastic match, we have a new titleholder. We also have new LWF World Tag Team champions, in the Vachon brothers. It was a match held inside a Steel Cage and they were able to upset the ROAD WARRIORS. An interesting side note is that both ANIMAL and HAWK are nowhere to be found. They left quickly from the arena and were to have had a scheduled appearance on this program. So we will watch for further developments. On today’s show our Main Event will feature two men who have feuded bitterly not only over the World title but over whom the true Nature Boy really is. BUDDY ROGERS will defend his title against RIC FLAIR in a 2 out 0f 3 Falls match. This was how so many titles in the great history of this sport have been defended and you will see it here. This and much more.
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Dan “The Beast” Severn vs. Gorgeous George (w/Cheri Dupree)
George was in rare form as he used the outside of the ring to run, hide, and frustrate Severn. At one point, Severn beat him to the outside and delivered a sick FIREMAN’S CARRY SLAM through a ringside table! Severn returned to the ring as the official counted George out. Medicial officials helped George to the back, but it was obvious that he may have a concussion. Winner: Dan Severn by Count Out @ 11:20
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Bullet” Bob Armstrong vs. “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff (w/ Gen. Nikita Breznikov)
Armstrong used his martial arts training to frustrate the Russian. Ivan was able to gain the upper hand and used a LEG DROP to get the victory. He then threw Armstrong over the top rope and to the floor. At this, Breznikov demanded the microphone. He warned that the last workers of the capitalist dog, DiBiase are gone. Only the manservant remains and soon he will see the shining light of Communism as well. Once he is finished with him all the LWF will bath in the glory of the RED FACTION. Winner: Ivan Koloff by pin @ 5:28
-THE HOT SEAT w/ BILL APTER- Guest : STEVE CORINO
BA: Welcome wrestling fans and I’m here today with one of the bright starts of the LWF, a former LWF World tag team champion, STEVE CORINO. I have several issues to discuss. First, how is your tag team partner, JUSTIN CREDIBLE? He suffered a stinger I believe from a Spike Piledriver delivered by TULLY BLANCHARD and ARN ANDERSON. SC: He’s fine Bill. He’s a tough guy and a great partner. But can I talk about the two men you mentioned? I have the greatest respect for both Arn and Tully. These men I watched on television and I patterened my career after them. I want to do things the right way, the old school way. I really feel that I can learn so much from them. BA: So what exactly are you saying? SC: I want them to be my teachers. I want to learn from then to become the best wrestler I can be. BA: Don’t you have any interest in helping your partner get back at them? SC: On the contrary, I feel that we can learn a lot from them. I mean, they came out of nowhere and won the LEGENDS INVITATIONAL. What competitors. (TULLY BLANCHARD and ARN ANDERSON arrive on the scene.) TB: Pardon me, Bill Apter but we heard our names mentioned and we had to respond. Look you seem like a nice enough guy but, what you have to learn is that we are the greatest tag team here and we will have the tag team titles before long. So the compliments are nice, but we are used to them. SC: I just want to be able to do things like you. I have so much deep admiration for you both. I could learn so much. AA: I don’t think you get it. But, if you want to learn, here’s lesson number one. (Anderson clobbers Corino with a left hand and he and Tully set him up with a GUORDBUSTER on the floor. Corino is writhing in pain.) TB: Class dismissed.
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Ravishing” Rick Rude (w/ Mona) vs. Konnan
Rude took the microphone and gave a special intro to his new lady, Mona. He said that this is the inspiration that will carry him to greatness in the LWF. The match was fairly brief as Mona distracted Konnan with her “assets” and he landed the RUDE AWAKENING. At the match was over, JIMMY SNUKA appeared on the ramp and issued a challenge. He said that he was tired of Rude sticking his nose where it didn’t belong and said that if he interfered in another title match of his, it would be hell to pay. Winner: Rick Rude by pin @ 3:52
-LWF World Title Match- 2 out of 3 Falls – 60 Minute Time Limit- “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers (w/Sherri Martel) © vs. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair (w/Cowboy Bob Orton)
Fall One: Both men started slowly until a slap to the face by Flair quickened the pace. Several near falls later, Flair applied the Figure Four Leglock but Rogers was able to slip to the ropes. Flair made a costly mistake and ran into the ringpost shoulder first. Rogers quickly applied his own FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE and won the first fall. Winner: Buddy Rogers by submission @ 10:34
Fall Two: Rogers continued to work on the legs, in hopes of finishing the match quickly. Flair showed courage as he fought back and used the crowd’s cheers to rally him. He went to the top rope and hit a beautiful CROSS BODYBLOCK off the top rope to even the match at one fall apiece. Winner: Ric Flair by pin @ 23:44
Fall Three: The crowd was tense as the pace was furious and both men had near falls. The ending saw the ref down and Rogers going for his Figure Four Grapevine asBob Orton jumped on the ring apron. Flair grabbed Rogers’s arms and Orton grabbed a steel chair. As he swung, Rogers ducked and Flair caught the blow. Rogers punched him off the ring and went for the cover. The ref was only half awake and only counted two and a half. Flair then hit a low blow out of desperation and Flair went for his own Figure Four. Now, Martel panicked, as the ref was still woozy. She mounted the top turnbuckle but Flair caught her and tossed her on Rogers. Flair then rolled up Rogers with his FEET ON THE ROPES and claimed the title in a thrilling bout. Winner: (New Champion) Ric Flair by pin @ 41:05

VTR (Video of the thrilling LWF World title match between Rogers and Flair. Flair captures the final fall for the belt.) GS: Hello, ladies and gentlemen this is Gordon Solie and welcome to LWF Superstars. If you missed last week’s episode you may have missed the missed the greatest bout in LWF history as RIC FLAIR captured the LWF World heavyweight title in a 2 out 3 falls match from BUDDY ROGERS. We will hear from both men later in the broadcast. We have an exciting show lined up as HARLEY RACE defends the United States championship against JIMMY SNUKA, as well as members of the RED FACTION, as they will take on a group that has been purchased by TED DIBIASE. As you know, Mr. DiBiase’s CORPORATION is empty of active competitors and he has made the challenge to NIKITA BREZNIKOV to a tag team match here today. That and much more.
-1 Fall – 15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT- “Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich vs. The Iron Sheik (w/Gen.Nikita Breznikov)
Von Erich had the crowd behind him an applied the IRON CLAW several times during the match. Breznikov jumped on the ring apron and got Von Erich to release the hold. This distraction allowed the Sheik to load up his curled boot and as Von Erich turned around he kicked him in the ribs, which led to the victory. Winner: The Iron Sheik by pin @ 12:20
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW (GENE OKERLUND is with RIC FLAIR and COWBOY BOB ORTON) GO: Ric Flair, congratulations are in order, as you are the new LWF World Heavyweight champion. RF: MEAN GENE! I could not be happier. This is truly Ric Flair’s day and night, isn’t that right Ace. Ric Flair, your world’s champion has put to the rest the issue of who the real Nature Boy is and that’s me. GO: No question but you have to be concerned that BUDDY ROGERS will not go quietly as he will be after that title. RF: Is this the face of a man who is concerned about anyone? I say, bring in on jack. I am suntanned and read to roll. If Buddy Rogers or anyone else for that matter wants to test themselves against the best. you know where I am. WHOOOOOOOOOO!
-LWF Television Title Match- 1 Fall - 30 Minute Time Limit- Antonino Rocca © vs. Masked Superstar (w/Bobby Heenan)
This was a very even contest. Superstar had the champion in trouble with a SWINGING NECKBREAKER when NICK BOCKWINKEL tried to enter the ring. The ref and BOBBY HEENAN tried to hold him back as Superstar yelled at him from inside the ring. This gave Rocca time and he hit the ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER and forced the masked man to give up. Winner: Antonino Rocca by submission @ 16:43
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW (GENE OKERLUND with BUDDY ROGERS and SHERRI MARTEL) GO: Buddy Rogers, quite a turn of events that lead you to losing your heavyweight title, your thoughts. SM: I’d like to say Gene that- BR: What did I tell you?! You are lucky that you’re standing here. In fact, get out of here. Get lost. I don’t need you screwing things up for me again. Go! (Sherri leaves with her head down and trying to apologize.) BR: It’s your fault that I’m in this mess. But, Okerlund I intend to fix it. I am a true champion. I will not just leave quietly and understand Flair that you may have your time in the sun now but realize that I will be hunting you and you cannot escape. I will be champion again. Mark my words!
-Tag Team Challenge – 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- Ivan & Nikita Koloff (w/ Gen. Nikita Breznikov) vs. Ron & Don Harris (w/Ted DiBiase & Virgil)
The Harris twins hit the ring and the match was on. It was a wild encounter that the official had trouble keeping order. Eventually all four men were on the outside and finally the ref called the bell and threw the math out. Winners: Double-Disqualification @ 6:42
-United States Title Match- 1 Fall- 30 Minute Time Limit- Harley Race (w/Bobby Heenan) © vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka
Snuka was in control and ready to mount the top rope for his SUPERFLY LEAP, when MONA bounded down to ringside to distract the official. Snuka sprung off the ropes and to chase her back to the dressing room, when RICK RUDE jumped out and landed chair shot right between his eyes. The ref called for the bell but now Rude hit the ring and attacked Race. He delivered a RUDE AWAKENING and tried to take the U.S. belt from Bobby Heenan’s hands. The struggle continued until LWF officials broke up the scene. Winner: Jimmy Snuka by Disqualification @ 18:20
