LWF Superstars May 5, 2000 Kansas City, MO Kemper Arena Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of Buddy Rogers capturing the United States championship from Bobo Brazil from last week’s program.) Gordon Solie: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another edition of LWF Superstars and as you saw Buddy Rogers is the new United States champion having bested Bobo Brazil here last week. We will continue with the first round matches in the LWF Television tournament as we try and round out the field for the second round action. We also hope to recap some of the action from our arena show just a few days ago in Houston, as we had some interesting developments take place as well. In particular on half of the World tag team champion, Hawk of the Road Warriors was carried out on a stretcher and from what we understand is ok but may be out of action. Let’s show you what happened.
(Video of The Road Warriors-Midnight Express match from 5/3/00 in Houston,TX. Hawk gets the pinfall after using Jim Cornette’s Tennis Racket on Bobby Eaton. A surprise occurs when Cornette orders Killer Kowalski to attack Hawk and injures him up against the ring post. Hawk is later carted off in a stretcher.) GS: At this time Jim Cornette has joined me with apparently his latest charge, Killer Kowalski. Jim Cornette: (Smiling) That’s right Solie and I guess we’re all going to stand here and you’re going to ask me why Killer Kowalski is with me and why we put Hawk on the shelf. Right? Am I right? GS: Well, yes. What plans do you have for Mr. Kowalski and your Midnight Express? Why did you have Hawk attacked? JC: I’m glad you asked that. But before I answer those questions, I have one for you. Do you know why February 13, 2000 is an important day for me? GS: No. JC: Well I’ll tell you on that day Animal after our match at Genesis power slammed Bobby Eaton clear through a table. He darn near broke his back. Bobby hadn’t been the same since and was anyone crying about that? Was anyone upset about how Bobby had to take pain pills and suffered through thinking every night that his career might be over. So I did the smart thing, I took my team off the road. I gave them time to heal and every day I plotted about one thing, our return and how we would pay back those two gorillas. So as I sat up every night I began to realize one thing, that money can buy happiness. I went home to momma and I asked her who the toughest man on the planet was and after we went through a list from everyone from Steve McQueen to Godzilla I came up with one name, this man right here, Killer Kowalski. So momma wrote the check and he is now not only my personal bodyguard but also he does what ever I want. So once Bobby and Stan were ready and once the Killer was under contract we were prepared to do whatever it takes to not only destroy the myth of the Road Warriors forever but to wear the LWF World tag team titles. So brother let me tell you, rest up real good boys because we’ll be ready to do it again and I assure you that next time you won’t walk away from it.
-LWF Television Title Tournament – 1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- The Destroyer (w/ Capt. Lou Albano) vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
The masked man wrestled a clean match and refused help from Albano several times during the match. He ducked a clothesline by Duggan and nailed him with a Shoulder Smash that dropped his foe. The Destroyer then applied his Figure Four Leglock for the win. Albano attempted to raise his man’s hand but Destroyer would have none of it. He turned to his manager, said a few words then turned his back on him. Albano simply looked towards the back and snapped his fingers. Suddenly Greg and Johnny Valentine hit the ring and attacked the masked man. The both beat him down and then held him as Albano applied paintbrush slaps to his face. The Destroyer was left in a heap as Albano led out his new charges. Winner: The Destroyer by submission @ 6:33
-LWF Television Title Tournament – 1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Brutus Beefcake vs. “Ravishing” Rick Rude (w/Bobby Heenan)
A back and forth match. Beefcake applied the Sleeperhold but Rude was able to escape by slamming back into the turnbuckle. Rude quickly spun around and hit the Rude Awakening for the win. Winner: Rude by pinfall @ 11:25
VTR (Video closeup of Konnan.) K: That’s right Konnan is ready to test himself against the greatest wrestlers in the world. I am coming to the LWF and I will make sure to conduct myself in the long tradition of great Mexican wrestlers from Mil Mascaras, Pedro Morales, the Guerreros. Only the best to beat the best. Get ready I’m on my way
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Steve Corino & Justin Credible vs. Bobo Brazil & S.D. Jones
The hardcore duo was all over Jones and cut the ring off so he was unable to tag out. A few double team moves set up Corino to land the Old School Expulsion on Jones for the win. After the match, Corino grabbed the mic; He demanded that they get their tag tem title rematch next week. He mentioned that they have never been beaten by the Road Warriors and are claiming that they are running scared. Winners: Credible & Corino by pinfall @ 3:45
-LWF Television Title Tournament- 1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs. Masked Superstar (w/Bobby Heenan)
A hard-hitting encounter. Superstar hit the Neckbreaker for only a two count. He whipped Snuka off the ropes and was caught with a Flying Headbutt that drove Superstar out of the ring. Snuka quickly went to the top rope and landed a beautiful Flying Body Press onto Superstar knocking him to the concrete. Snuka rolled back in as Heenan fanned Superstar hoping to bring him to as the ref counted. Finally the ref counted ten and the match was awarded to the Superfly. Winner: Snuka by Countout @ 12:05

LWF Superstars May 12, 2000 Phoenix, AZ Veterans Memorial Stadium Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of The Destroyer arguing with Lou Albano and the beat down that occurred from Albano’s newest tag team, Johnny and Greg Valentine.)
Gordon Solie: Hello and welcome to LWF Superstars and we have quite a program for you. You will see the final opening round match in the LWF Television tournament as Gorgeous George takes on Konnan. Plus we will update you with the rest of the bracket and when we can expect to crown our first TV champion. Before I go on I must bring in our head promoter MW Jergs who has some other exciting announcements about today’s show. MWJ: Thank you Gordon, first today we will have a number one contenders tag team match as The Midnight Express will face Steve Corino and Justin Credible and the winner will receive a title shot and I am told that Hawk is ready to defend his half of the tag titles. Also I received a demand from Road Warrior Animal to get Jim Cornette’s new man, Killer Kowalski in the ring and that will happen today and finally the biggest news that I have scheduled a rematch for the LWF World Heavyweight Title as Bruiser Brody will face The Crusher here on television and I am very pleased to bring this to you and our fans. GS: Incredible. As we know Brody has been close to unstoppable as champion but The Crusher did not fall victim to Brody and did get a disqualification win over him, so they lock up again today
-LWF Television Tournament – First Round – 15 Minute Time Limit- Konnan vs. Gorgeous George (w/Cheri Dupree)
A rather even match between these two. George tried to keep the young star off balance but Konnan stood his ground. He hit a flurry of moves that included a sit down face buster that caused George to roll out of the ring. As he took a breather, Buddy Rose bolted from the ringside crowd and attacked the human orchid. He then delivered incredible DDT through the ringside table! George lay in a heap as Dupree tended to him as Rose left through the crowd he came from. The official had no choice but to disqualify Konnan and award the match to George. Winner: George by Disqualification @ 8:25
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Animal vs. Killer Kowalski (w/Jim Cornette)
This was a special challenge match issue by the Road Warrior. Both men used great power and vicious maneuvers on each other but as usual Cornette could not resist interfering. This brought out Hawk who sent Cornette running and then he turned his attention in the ring. Kowalski was set on the top rope and Hawk pushed him off and sent him to the mat. The ref had no choice but to ring the bell and a double team ensued that sent Kowalski over the ropes. Winner: Kowalski by Disqualification @ 7:10
-1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- Buff Bagwell & Brutus Beefcake vs. Johnny & Greg Valentine (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
This was the Valentine’s first match under new management and they looked fairly solid. However it wasn’t until The Destroyer came to ringside and distracted Greg that it set up Bagwell to take advantage and hit a Double Arm DDT to score the win for the popular duo. Winners: Bagwell & Beefcake by pinfall @ 12:32
VTR (Video rolls of Dan Severn in UFC and in the NWA. “War Machine” by Kiss is playing over the footage. After a look at Severn’s skills, the text on screen reads, “THE BEAST IS COMING!!!!)
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit - #1 Contenders Match- The Midnight Express (w/Jim Cornette) vs. Steve Corino & Justin Credible
This match got ugly very quick. Credible was able to use his Singapore cane with great effectiveness without the ref seeing him. Cornette was able to toss his racket to an irate Stan Lane who bashed both men with it. The ref did pick up on that infraction costing the Midnights their chance at the tag champions. Winners: Credible & Corino by Disqualification @ 12:54
-LWF World Title Match – 1 Fall – 45 Minute Time Limit- Bruiser Brody (c.) vs. The Crusher
Crusher was able to match power with the larger champion. But he had a harder time matching his violence outside the ring. Brody used weapons, like a chair and the ringpost to open a cut on the Crusher. With the sight of his own blood, Crusher was enraged and took the fight to Brody. He slammed his head on the ring steps and used a chair of his own. When ref, Tommy Young stepped in, Crusher tossed him aside. He continued to battle and had Brody heading for the exits as the bell rang. Winner: Brody by Disqualification @ 18:22
-LWF Television Tournament – Second Round
Jimmy Snuka vs. Nick Bockwinkel The Destroyer vs. Rick Rude Buff Bagwell vs. Iron Sheik Gorgeous George vs. Greg Valentine

LWF Superstars May 19,2000 San Diego, CA Cox Arena Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR: (Video of the brawl between Brody and The Crusher. Crusher begins to get the best of things and Brody escapes to the back with Crusher in hot pursuit.)
Solie: Hello and welcome to another edition of LWF Superstars. As you just saw The Crusher continues to push LWF World Heavyweight champion, Bruiser Brody to the limit. He is no doubt the stiffest challenge to date for the champion. Today we will have second round action in the LWF Television tournament, this and much more on our program. (Ted DiBiase arrives with Virgil, Iron Sheik, and King Kong Bundy) TD: Get lost Solie. I paid good money to have this time and I don't want to be interrupted. GS: (Suffling papers) I didn't see anything about an interview segment. TD: Check my reciept. Now beat it because the Million Dollar Man wants to speak and when I speak, people listen! (Solie retreats to the back.) TD: Now there are a lot of people out there who have been laughing at the Million Dollar Corporation, and at me, Ted DiBiase. I'll have to admit that the War Games was not our greatest moment. But in those times when greatness should be grasped and some do not measure up it reveals something about you. As good organizations do, we identified our problems and fixed them. So let's look to the future. Bobby Heenan consider this my pass to you and yours, we have bigger fish to fry. Understand that The Iron Sheik is the greatest mat wrestler in the world and he will capture the Television title for the corporation. The largest man in the LWF, King Kong Bundy and myself will capture the tag team titles if those painted baboons ever give us our rightful shot. So listen good, we haven't gone anywhere, and know that the Million Dollar Man is always looking to bolster his position and make a new acquisition. Everyone has a price for the Million Dollar Man! Ha Ha Ha Ha ha!
-1 Fall - 15 Minute Time Limit- Killer Kowalski (w/Jim Cornette) vs. S.D. Jones
Jones put up a good fight but Cornette was able to distract Jones enough to allow Kolwaski to secure the Claw for the win. Winner; Kowalski @ 5:10
-LWF Television Tournament- Second Round- -1 Fall - 30 Minute Time Limit- "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka vs. Nick Bockwinkel (w/Bobby Heenan)
A back and forth contest as Snuka was able to elude Heenan's distractions. After Snuka hit a Headbutt he went for the cover which prompted Heenan to jump on the ring apron. Snuka stood up grabbed Heenan by his collar and leveled a stunning chop that sent him to the outside. The crafty Bockwinkel was able to secure his Sleeper and with nowhere to go Snuka was out on the mat. Winner: Bockwinkel by submission @ 12:42
-1 Fall - 25 Minute Time Limit- Brutus Beefcake & Buff Bagwell vs. Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy (w/Virgil)
Bagwell and Beefcake arrived with new ring attire and new t-shirts. Bagwell informed the crowd that they are just too hot for the LWF and those types of things should have warning labels, so we will be known as "XXX". Later in the contest, Bagwell hit the Buff Blockbuster on the massive Bundy and had him in trouble. The Iron Sheik quickly ran out to ringside and distracted the official as Virgil tossed his employer the Million Dollar belt. He clobbered Bagwell with it but luckily ref, Tommy Young saw the infraction and called for the bell. The action didn't stop as Bundy and DiBiase double teamed Beefcake and the Iron Sheik worked on Bagwell's back and applied the Camel Clutch. Numerous LWF officials tried to restore order and chased off the Corporation. Solie mentioned that Bagwell is slated to face the Iron Sheik next week in the TV tournament. Winners: XXX by Disqualification @ 9:33
-1 Fall - 15 Minute Time Limit- Dan"The Beast" Severn vs. Masked Superstar (w/Bobby Heenan)
Superstar was Severn's first real test in the LWF and no one got a clear advantage. Superstar made a real mistake when he angered Severn after he rammed his opponent shoulderfirst into the ringpost. He tried again but Severn reversed him. Then the beast seemed to snap. A wild look overcame him as he applied the Wakitgame on the outside. The ref disqualified Severn as he would not heed instructions. Heenan was desperate as well trying to pry Severn off his man. Severn did let go but began chasing Heenan who ran as fast as his legs could carry him to the locker room. Winner: Masked Superstar by Disqualification @ 12:03
-LWF Television tournament- Second Round- -1 Fall - 30 Minute Time Limit- The Destroyer vs. "Ravishing"Rick Rude (w/Bobby Heenan)
A close match the whole way. Destroyer hit a Bomb Away kneedrop and went for the cover but, Heenan placed Rude's feet on the ropes. The ref admonished Heenan and meanwhile Greg and Johnny Valentine came to ringside. Johnny was badmouthing the masked man. Destroyer came closer but Rude was right behind him. Greg swung a folding chair and caught Rude full in the face as Destroyer ducked. The masked legend quickly snapped on the Figure Four Leglock and the ref spun around and counted out an unconscious Rude for the win. Winner: The Destroyer by pinfall @ 17:31

LWF Superstars May 26, 2000 Fresno, CA Convention Center
VTR (The Destroyer taking advantage of the Valentines interference backfiring and getting a win over Rick Rude to advance in the TV tournament.)
Gordon Solie: Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of LWF Superstars. The LWF Television tournament continues with two matches. We have also recieved word on the next LWF Pay Per View telecast. It will be Sunday, June 11 in Daytona Beach, Florida and it will be BEACH BRAWL. More details to follow.
-1 Fall - 15 Minute Time Limit- "Golden Greek" Jim Londos vs. Virgil (w/Ted DiBiase)
The LWF debut for Londos did not end the way he wanted. Londos was very impressive and caught the bodyguard in a Crotch Lift and Slam and got the easy win. An indigant DiBiase grabbed the mic and quickly challenged Londos to an impromptu match. Londos was ready but he did not see King kong Bundy and Virgil sneak up behind him for a double team. Virgil held his arms as DiBiase paintbrushed him with slaps. Bundy then used an Avalanche Splash to leave the Golden Greek laying. Winner: Londos by pinfall @ 3:10
Backstage: (Gene Okerlund is in the locker room area with Gorgeous George, Cheri Dupree and Danny Doring.) GO: I have many questions to ask gentlemen and I'll start with you, Gorgeous George. It seems that you have a major protege, Buddy Rose. You had this man, attack Rose after a recent match and I want to know what gives. GG: Really? Do you honestly expect someone with such panache and style as myself hope to explain my intellecutual capacity to --you? But I shall try. That ingrate Buddy Rose asked for my help- MY HELP. And Lord knows he needed it. He is a slovenly, poorly dressed baboon. I tried as best I could to help him. But what did he do? He threw it all away.I taught him how to conduct himself as a man. Now he must pay the penalty and I would be happy to do it myself but I do not wish to procure the numerous diseases that he most surely has, so Daniel will do it for me.
-LWF Television Tournament- 1 Fall - 30 Minute Time Limit- Gorgeous George (w/Cheri Dupree) vs. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
A strong technical match that spilled outside. Suddenly a fan dressed in a white mask got too close to the action and nailed Valentine with a chair! The fan revealed his mask and it was Buddy Rose, who left through the crowd laughing. Amid George's protests the ref awarded the match the Valentine. Winner: Valentine by DQ @ 7:44
-1 Fall- 30 Minute Time Limit- The Road Warriors & "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka vs. The Midnight Express & Killer Kowalski (w/ Jim Cornette)
A wild match that never got under control. The ref threw this one out. Winners: No-Contest - Double DQ @ 5:22
-LWF Television Title Tournament- -1 Fall- 30 Minute Time Limit- Buff Bagwell (w/Brutus Beefcake) vs. The Iron Sheik (w/Ted DiBiase & Virgil)
Bagwell was stinging from the Sheik's attack last week. Bagwell wrestled an inspired match and hit his Buff Blockbuster. DiBiase then distracted the ref and used a pair of brass knuckles to cold cock Bagwell. The ref saw the infraction and called for the bell as Beefcake cleared the ring. Winner: Bagwell by DQ @ 12:32
-LWF World Title Match- -CHAIN MATCH- Bruiser Brody (c.) vs. The Crusher
This match was a late addition much to the crowd's delight. Both men bleed as it was anyone's match. Crusher had the chain wrapped around his fist as he pummeled the champion. Brody had the presence of mind to yank up on the chain and crotch the challenger. Brody then landed the Jumping Knee to gain the pinfall and escape with the belt. Winner: Brody by pinfall @ 21:43

AWESOME card mwjergs!
You had lots of great things take place at Fresno's Convention Center. The chain match between Crusher and Brody was cool and I thought the developments in the feud between Buddy Rose and Gorgeous George were well played out. I am also looking forward to seeing how Londos responds to his ambush by Ted DiBiase's henchmen.

Thanks so much. I have to comment on some of the other great stuff promoters are doing out there. I've been really busy and have fallen behind a bit in my cards. Hoping to catch up with my next PPV scheduled in a few weeks.
Brody and Crusher aren't done yet. Another great match in their feud. Rose and George still have more to offer and you may see some changes to them at some point.

LWF Superstars June 2, 2000 Detroit, MI Joe Louis Arena Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of the LWF World Title Chain match between Brody and The Crusher. A bloody encounter where Brody escaped with his belt intact.)
In Ring: (Justin Credible and Steve Corino make thier way to the ring with their newly won LWF World tag team belts and a chorus of boos from the crowd.) Steve Corino: Yes, yes, I know that you are all upset that your heroes have been exposed for what they truly are - frauds. It has to hurt knowing that the Road Warriors are NOT the most dominant tag team in the LWF but, rather the men that stand before you, double trouble, Credible and Corino. Justin Credible: That's right. It's hard when everyone is against you and no one wants you to succeed. But, you dig down deep and find the fortitude to get the job done and beat people at their own game and it feels--- INCREDIBLE! (The Midnight Express and Jim Cornette interrupt. Cornette shakes hands with the new champions and speaks.) Jim Cornette: Well, I must say that I am estatic that two fine men such as yourselves are the new face of the company and the Road Warriors deserve everything they got. But, I am out here for business purposes and even though I like you boys you do realize that my men, "Beautiful Bobby" and "Sweet Stan" are the number one contenders and you will have to face these men real soon and well I'm sorry we will have to take those belts from you. Nothing personal, it's just the way things are. ("Iron Man" blasts over the speakers as Hawk and Animal hit the ring while everyone scatters.) Animal: Hey. You have some nerve coming out here and talking tough about things everyone knows you didn't do. Hawk: I'm not surprised to see all of you weasels here together because that's how many of you it took to steal those belts away from us. There is no team that can beat my brother and I , two on two and that's a fact. (MW Jergs appears with his own mic.) MWJ: Hold on please. Before things get really nasty here. I 'd like to explain what the championship committe has decided. First, we have a match for BEACH BRAWL, where the new tag team champions, Steve Corino and Justin Credible will face the former champions, The Road Warriors but, there will be no interference because it will be in a BARBED WIRE CAGE! Now, Cornette I see that indignant look on your face and I will say that the committe will honor your team's title shot at the TV taping on June 16th and you will face the winners, whomever that may be.
-15 Minute Time Limit- Ox Baker (w/Capt. Lou Albano) vs. "Cowboy"Bob Orton
This was a very physical match and Orton had a few near falls until Albano distracted the ref. Baker was able to land his HEART PUNCH and secured the victory as Orton was out. Baker wasn't finished as he continued to attack the prone Cowboy. This brought out the Destroyer who landed several blows on the huge Baker and drove him from the ring. WINNER: BAKER by pinfall @ 10:25
-15 Minute Time Limit- "Playboy" Buddy Rose & Brutus Beefcake vs. "Gorgeous" George & Danny Doring (w/Cheri Dupree)
Rose had been trying to find a partner earlier in the program and was able to get Beefcake to agree to team with him. They worked very well together and kept Doring isolated most of the match. Rose locked in a SLEEPERHOLD and that was all that was needed as Doring went out. George left disgusted as Beefcake and Rose celebrated in the ring. Beefcake imitated the pose celebration of Hulk Hogan and got Rose to flex to the fan's delight. WINNERS: BEEFCAKE & ROSE by submission @ 2:15
THE HOT SEAT (w/ Bill Apter) (Bill Apter is seated with his guest , DAN SEVERN) BA: Hello, wrestling fans and welcome to the HOT SEAT. I'm Bill Apter and this week we have an extraordinary athlete. He is a former Ultimate fighter with extensive background in judo and martial arts, as well as a former World champion wrestler, Dan 'The Beast" Severn. DS: Thank you Bill, I looked forward to speaking with you. BA: You have numerous accomplishments and now you are here in the LWF. What are your long range plans? DS: I simply want to compete and compete against the best. It doesn't matter if it's Buddy Rogers or Bruiser Brody . I'll be ready. (Masked Superstar runs out.) MS: Hold on a second Apter. Are you serious? What is it with you? Do you know that you have never interviewed the greatest masked wrestler of all time before- the Masked Superstar. And yet you sit here and interview some guy who throws a couple of kicks and illegally chokes people and wants to be a big shot. DS: All I can say is that any time you want to get in the ring, I'm ready. You should know what I can do. MS: Oh, ok. Here's what I can do (Superstar lunges at Severn and headbutts him. A brawl ensues LWF officials attempt to break it up.)
-LWF Television Tournament - 1 Fall - 30 Minute Time Limit- Buff Bagwell vs. Greg"The Hammer"Valentine (w/ Capt. Lou Albano)
Bagwell's hot streak as a singles wrestler came to an end as Valentine worked him over and hit the FALLING ELBOW DROP to secure a spot in the finals. WINNER: VALENTINE by pinfall @ 11:05
-LWF Television Tournament- 1 Fall - 30 Minute Time Limit- Nick Bockwinkel (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. The Destroyer
A very good match between two vets of the squared circle. Midway through, the masked man had the Figure Four sinched in and Heenan grabbed Bockwinkel's hand and dragged him towards the ropes. The ref called for the break but, also ordered Heenan to the locker room. The match restarted and the Destroyer was ready to finish things off until Ox Baker and Johnny Valentine came out. Johnny distracted the ref as Baker slid under the ropes and nailed Destroyer with a Heart Punch. Bockwinkel then applied his own figure four on a limp Destroyer and advanced to the finals. WINNER: BOCKWINKEL by submission @ 17:33

VTR (Video of the TV title semi-finals – Bockwinkel vs. The Destroyer. A fantastic match marred by interference and Bockwinkel comes out on top.)
Gordon Solie: Good evening and welcome. We are just days away from the next pay per view event from the LWF – BEACH BRAWL and we will have a full lineup of the evening’s card for you at the conclusion of this program. We have a very exciting main event for you as we will have a 10 Man Invitational Battle Royal and the winner will get a shot at the United States Heavyweight Title currently held by Buddy Rogers. We also- (Solie is interrupted by The Crusher.) Crusher: Solie. Sorry for doing this to ya. But, I got a lot to say. Brody get your miserable, lowlife, scumbag self out here right now. I need to tell you a few things. (Brody slowly makes his way out to the ringside.) Brody: This better be good you idiot, your lucky that I’m even in the building today. I’ve got better things to do than listen to you murder the English language. Crusher: Well, I want you to know that you are NOT the toughest man in the LWF. You may look tough and act tough but you aint as tough as the man who made Milwaukee famous. My mother was a hurricane and my pappy was a typhoon. What does that make me? Dangerous. So I got a challenge for you, tough guy. There’s already one Cage Match scheduled for BEACH BRAWL, I say let’s make it two. Brody: Why should I get in the ring and get you again? I don’t need it. Crusher: Fine. You put your title against me and if you can beat me, I’ll leave the LWF! Brody: (Smiling) Really? Well then let me sign up right now, you got it. Crusher: Ok. Here’s all you need. (Crusher nails Brody with a right hand and a brawl ensues. Solie is trying to help restore order and we go to a commercial break while officials try and separate the two men.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase (w/ Virgil) vs. Antonino Rocca (w/ Jim Londos)
Londos came out to support his good friend Rocca and help to stop any attempts at interference. The match went back and forth until Rocca locked in the Argentine Backbreaker. This brought Virgil to his feet and Londos running after him on the outside. DiBiase was able to break the hold with an eye rake and slid off the shoulders. Virgil was able to catch Londos with a powder in the eyes that temporarily blinded him. The ref wasn’t sure where to look, outside or on the match inside. Virgil used the distraction to slip his boos, the prized Million Dollar belt and DiBiase put it to good use. He landed a heavy blow and the ref was in position to see the infraction and call for the bell. The action didn’t stop there as Virgil and DiBiase began to double team the helpless Rocca. This brought out crowd favorite, Bobo Brazil, who chased the heels away with a series of Coco Butts. Winner: Rocca by Disqualification @ 8:33
-15 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall- Red Bastein vs. “Dastardly” Danny Doring
Bastein was a whirlwind of activity and dominated Doring from bell to bell. He finished things off with a series of ATOMIC DROPS and got the pin. Winner: Bastein by PIN @ 2:05
-15 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall- Harley Race (w/ Bobby Heenan) vs. Konnan
Race continued his impressive streak in singles competition. He fought off a stiff challenge from the Mexican star but was able to reverse a cross bodyblock off the ropes and with a handful of tights was proclaimed the winner. Winner: Race by pinfall @ 12:51
-TV Main Event- 10 Man Battle Royal- Winner gets a shot a US Champion-
The champion, Buddy Rogers and his managerial assistant, Sherri Martel were at ringside to provide commentary for the event. Order of Elimination:
1) Gorgeous George by Buddy Rose @ 1:45 -What happened next was quite unexpected. George upset at the indignity of being eliminated, went ballistic. As Rose was close to the ropes, George used his valet’s hairspray can and sprayed in Rose’s face. He then flipped him over the top rope and started beating away on him. He then produced a pair of scissors and started clipping Rose’s hair. LWF officials came out and dragged George away and got Rose medical attention. 2) Buddy Rose by Iron Shiek @ 3:21 (with Buddy Rose’s help) 3) Bobo Brazil by Johnny Valentine @ 5:02 4) Rick Rude by Bob Orton @ 5:34 5) Jim Londos by Killer Kowalski @ 7:22 6) Iron Sheik by Bob Orton @ 8:32 7) Johnny Valentine by Jimmy Snuka @ 8:55 8) Jimmy Snuka by Killer Kowalski @ 10:03 9) Killer Kowalski by Bob Orton @ 11:32
“Cowboy” Bob Orton wins the Battle Royal and the shot at the United States Championship. Buddy Rogers had a few parting words, “You may think you’re the winner now, Orton but after Sunday you won’t feel like one.”

LWF: Special Event: BEACH BRAWL June 11, 2000 Daytona Beach, Florida Daytona Beachfront Center TV Announcers: Gordon Solie & Bill Apter Backstage: “Mean” Gene Okerlund Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
(VTR) (Montage of all the participants in the important matches on this card. Close-up of Gordon Solie and Bill Apter at ringside.) GS: Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the third special event brought to you by the Legends Wrestling Federation- BEACH BRAWL. We have at least twelve matches signed for this evening and we hope to settle some scores and compete for some gold. BA: That’s correct Gordon. This card is jammed packed with action. The Double Main Event – first the LWF World tag team championship is on the line as Justin Credible and Steve Corino face off against the former champions, The Road Warriors and then the LWF World champion, Bruiser Brody takes on his nemesis, The Crusher and if the Milwaukee favorite loses he is out of the LWF. The hook is that both of these matches will be inside a Barbed Wire Steel Cage. No doubt this is a very dangerous match and there will be injuries. GS: No question about it. Those matches on everyone’s mind, as well as the LWF crowning its first Television champion and a special Hair vs. Hair challenge with Gorgeous George and Buddy Rose. But enough talk our first match is in the ring.
-1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- Killer Kowalski (w/Jim Cornette) vs. The Sandman
The match was fairly even as the Sandman took all Kowalski could dish out. He applied a WHITE RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP and JIM CORNETTE was able to put the Killer’s foot on the rope to break the count. Sandman jumped the ropes and chased Cornette around as he grabbed his Singapore cane. Kowalski followed and he was nailed by the Sandman’s cane several shots. The ref could not control the wild man and called for the bell. Sandman continued and surprised Cornette as he spit a full can of beer in his face. Winner: Killer Kowalski by Disqualification @ 9:33
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & Konnan vs. “Ravishing” Rick Rude & Harley Race (w/ Bobby Heenan)
Both of these teams had not been together in the ring before, so it was interesting to see how they would work together. Late in the match, Jimmy Snuka was ready to try and finish Rude off after a head butt. Heenan jumped on the ring apron and distracted Snuka who grabbed him by the collar. Rude recovered and rushed the Fijian but he alertly moved and Rude smashed his manager to the ground. Rude, was shocked and didn’t see Snuka mounting the top rope. He sprung off with a modified SUPERFLY LEAP that was enough to get the cover. Winners: Jimmy Snuka & Konnan by pin @ 12:10
-Backstage Interview- (Gene Okerlund is in the locker room with the Iron Sheik and Ted DiBiase.) GO: Gentlemen, we are almost ready for action as Iron Sheik you face the pride of America, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. IS: You know, Gene Mean, the Iron Sheik is the best wrestler in the entire world. I am an Olympic champion, and I will be a World champion if that cheap jibroni, Brody ever sign his name on the line against me. But I will be happy to put that Duggan to the mat as a warm-up. Iran, number one, U-S-A – acht – puh!
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- The Iron Sheik (w/Ted DiBiase) vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
Duggan was a tough customer and had the Sheik in trouble several times. It wasn’t until the Iranian reversed a whip and landed a FLYING BODY PRESS and hooked the tights to get the victory. Winner: The Iron Sheik by pin @ 6:55
-Backstage- (A limo pulls up to the backstage area and Gene Okerlund is there to see who it is. COWBOY BOB ORTON Is first out of the limo.) GO: Bob Orton, tonight you get your shot at the United States Heavyweight champion, “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers. What do you think your chances are? BO: Well, Gene. I know that I have what it takes to be a champion. But I figured that if I was facing a Nature Boy and that I needed to talk to one. (RIC FLAIR emerges from the limo next to the shock of Gene Okerlund.) RF: Whooooo! Mean Gene. Ric Flair is here to see his good friend take the United States title and then we will hop in this limousine and paint the town red. GO: What a shocker! I can’t believe it. RF: Hey, I’m just here as a fan and I know that Bob Orton can get the job done. Hey, Gino if you want we got a seat for you too. Whoooo!
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- The Midnight Express (w/ Jim Cornette) vs. XXX (Beefcake & Bagwell)
An exciting tag team match with many near falls on both sides. All four men were in the ring and Stan Lane was able to catch Buff Bagwell with a SUPERKICK as Bobby Eaton went for a drop down and got the three count. Winners: Midnight Express by pin @ 13:43
-Tag Team Elimination Match- 30 Minute Time Limit- Ted DiBiase, King Kong Bundy & Virgil vs. Antonino Rocca, Jim Londos, & Bobo Brazil
This match would be under Survivor rules, where the team to have all its members eliminated would be declared the loser.
FIRST ELIMINATION: BOBO BRAZIL used three COCO BUTTS to almost knock out a helpless VIRGIL and get the three count @ 7:42. SECOND ELIMINATION: ANTONINO ROCCA mounted the top rope and used a spectacular FLYING BODY PRESS to pin the massive KING KONG BUNDY to the mat @ 14:02. THIRD ELIMINATION: TED DIBIASE seeing that he was at a three on one disadvantage left the ring to be counted out and headed to the locker room @ 15:30. Winners: Rocca ,Londos, & Brazil @ 15:30
-Backstage- (Gene Okerlund is trying to stop Ted DiBiase o get a word with him.) GO: Ted DiBiase, what is the meaning of this? We’ve seen this happen before when things don’t go your way. TD: Yeah. And I could care less what you think you little worm. I have to look out for the most important person in the Corporation and that’s me. If my workers continue to fail me, then I have to look to downsize or- (Out of nowhere, NIKOLAI VOLKOFF comes into frame and begins pounding away on DiBiase. Okerlund is shocked as LWF officials and KING KONG BUNDY and VIRGIL help DiBiase as the scene is cleared.)
-Hair vs. Hair- Lumberjack Match – No Time Limit- “Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. Gorgeous George (w/Cheri Dupree)
The rules of the match were simple, each participant had four lumberjacks at ringside and the man who either was pinned or submitted would have his head shaved. Rose was out first with his seconds, Brutus Beefcake, Buff Bagwell, Red Bastien, and Jim Duggan, while George came out next as his valet sprayed the air. The Gorgeous One was accompanied to the ring by Killer Kowalski, The Midnight Express, and Danny Doring. The human orchid controlled the early match and locked in his Gorgeous Grip to no avail. Later on, as Rose rallied Doring attempted to attack him but he instead nailed George. This set up the final blow as Rose landed the BOMBS AWAY for the three count. The fans went wild as BRUTUS BEEFCAKE grabbed the razor and was ready to give George his shave. As others held him down, George’s entire head was shaven bald! After the work was done, BUFF BAGWELL held up the mirror to let George look. He was so shocked that he fainted. DORING helped his mentor to the back as ROSE celebrated with his seconds. Winner: Buddy Rose by pin @ 18:33
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- The Destroyer vs. Ox Baker (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
The match was all action and back and forth with neither gaining a clear advantage. The Destroyer caught his opponent with a back suplex and this brought Albano to cause a distraction as he grabbed the referee. The masked man quickly ran towards him and this allowed Baker to dip into his tights and produced a small chain. As Destroyer turned around, Baker swung wildly and his opponent ducked and then slapped on a Sleeperhold. Baker struggled but, could not escape and slumped to the mat. Winner: The Destroyer by submission @ 15:05
-Ringside- (Gordon Solie and Bill Apter) GS: Tremendous action so far with a host of surprises, with only more to come. BA: Indeed Gordon, but if I could tell the fans that the excitement doesn’t stop here. Our next pay per view event has been scheduled and it will be over two days, in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 19th and 20th and the highlight will be an Invitational Tag team tournament and the winners will receive one million dollars and it will be called the LEGENDS INVITATIONAL CUP. Tickets are on sale now. GS: No doubt there will be teams from all over the world hoping to get a shot at that million dollars.
-Submission Match – 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- Dan “The Beast” Severn vs. Masked Superstar (w/Bobby Heenan)
This was a match between Severn’s Wakigatame and Superstar’s Cobra hold. Superstar attacked Severn before the bell in hopes to get some kind of advantage. Severn was able to rally and slipped out of two attempts by the masked man to get him in his hold. The beast was able to secure the WAKIGATAME in the center of the ring and he had no choice but to tap out. Winner: Dan Severn by submission @ 11:45
-LWF World Television Title Match- Finals – No Time Limit- Greg “The Hammer” Valentine (w/Capt. Lou Albano) vs. Nick Bockwinkel (w/ Bobby Heenan)
An excellent match between these two but the fans were unsure who to root for as both were rule breakers. The match continued and Bockwinkel reversed a suplex attempt into a BACK SUPLEX of his own and he grabbed the tights with the ref noticing and captured the championship. Winner: (New champion) Nick Bockwinkel by pin @ 23:27
-LWF United States Title Match – 1 Fall – 45 Minute Time Limit- “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers (w/Sherri Martel) © vs. “Cowboy” Bob Orton
Buddy Rogers attacked the big cowboy before the bell and stayed on top of him. He controlled most of the match but Orton fought back and hit a Power slam but only got a two count. Rogers was able to reestablish control and locked in his FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE and Orton was forced to submit. The match did not stop there as Rogers continued to assault and kept the hold on as Orton writhed in pain. The fans were soon on their feet as RIC FLAIR hit the ring and attacked Rogers. He delivered a volley of thunderous chops and sent Rogers from the ring. Winner: Buddy Rogers by submission @ 16:33
-LWF World Tag Team Title Match- Barbed Wire Cage Match- Justin Credible & Steve Corino © vs. The Road Warriors
The type of cage match was sure to have injuries as the rope were replaced by barbed wire. The champions used white powder in the eyes and foreign objects to get a quick start. This didn’t last long as Hawk and Animal would not be denied. The end saw a bloody Corino get hoisted into the DOOMSDAY DEVICE and flipped over for the three count as the Warriors regained their titles. Winners: (New Champions) Road Warriors by pin @ 10:24 ***** STEVE CORINO INJURED for 8 cards*******
-LWF World Heavyweight Title Match – Barbed Wire Cage Match- -If Crusher loses he must leave the LWF for 60 days- Bruiser Brody © vs. The Crusher
Both men were bleeding from the head rather quickly. The match went back and forth until Brody dodged a reckless Crusher who went into the wire. He stepped back and Brody landed a vicious CLOTHESLINE that he could not recover from and Brody retained the belt once again. Winner: Bruiser Brody by pin @ 12:53

LWF Superstars June 16, 2000 Atlanta, GA The Omni TV Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta Backstage: Gene Okerlund
VTR (Still shots of BEACH BRAWL- Cut to Gordon Solie at ringside.) GS: Welcome to LWF Superstars and we have a host of items to rundown for today’s program. As you just saw, BEACH BRAWL was a supreme success and we have so much exciting news to tell you. First let’s start with the Double Main Event. BRUISER BRODY is still the LWF World Heavyweight and as a result, THE CRUSHER will be barred from the LWF for a period of 60 days. Also THE ROAD WARRIORS have regained the LWF World Tag Team Titles inside the steel and one of the former champions, STEVE CORINO has sustained an injury that will keep him out of action for at least two months. But if I may please speak to the man who is the new LWF Television champion, Nick Bockwinkel with his manager, Bobby Heenan.
(Heenan and Bockwinkel enter smiling with the Television title around the champion’s waist.) GS: I must congratulate you sir on your recent victory. NB: Indeed, Mr. Solie. Greg Valentine was a worthy adversary but as you know the cream always rises to the top. I am now the only man to ever hold two separate titles in the LWF and I plan on adding many more to my collection. GS: I see. It is my understanding that you will be defending this title on every television program the LWF airs and your defenses will begin next week against BUFF BAGWELL. BH: It doesn’t matter who faces Mr. Bockwinkel and that muscle head Bagwell is going to realize that having a suntan doesn’t mean you are a wrestler. He’ll find out soon enough. GS: Thank you gentlemen. We have so much to get to but let’s go to the ring.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- The Iron Sheik (w/Ted DiBiase) vs. “Golden Greek” Jim Londos (w/Antonino Rocca)
Rocca made sure to accompany his tag team partner to help combat any interference by the Million Dollar Man. The match was fast paced and a solid wrestling contest. Late in the match the action spilled out onto the floor and as Rocca was trying to keep DiBiase at bay, his henchman, VIRGIL cam to ringside and leveled the Golden Greek with a steel chair. Londos was out and this allowed the Tehran native to slide back in the ring and get the countout victory. DiBiase quickly started to leave the scene with all of his men. As they left a large hulking figure grabbed at DiBiase from the front row. It was NIKOLAI VOLKOFF who began to pound away on his former employer before VIRGIL and the IRON SHEIK were able to escort him to safety. Winner: The Iron Sheik by countout @ 12:07
-Backstage- (Bobby Heenan is reviewing instructions with Nick Bockwinkel before he sends him off in his limousine. HARLEY RACE and RICK RUDE are behind their manager with arms folded both looking upset.) HR: Bobby, there you are. I need a word with you. BH: Well, sure I was just getting some things taken care of. HR: Yeah, I can see old Nicky is all set up. But I need to know when my title shots are coming? BH: Well. RR: Yeah, I have some questions too. Why am I booked in a tag team match at Beach Brawl when I should be wrestling for gold? BH: Well.- HR: Hey, I’ve already worn tag team gold. We agreed that I would be a singles champion. BH: Ok. Ok. Just listen both of you. You will both get what you want. I can’t help that a crooked official sabotaged our chances of a win last Sunday. You have to be patient. But let’s make this a sporting competition. The prize is the LWF World Heavyweight champion and a shot at Brody. Harley, today you have a chance to smash that doughboy, Buddy Rose and Rick next week you have that barefooted islander, Jimmy Snuka. The first man to get to three wins, I will personally guarantee that you will get a shot at the World belt. You have my word. (Both men smile and then glare at each other as they leave a fumbling Heenan.)
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Johnny Valentine (w/Capt. Lou Albano) vs. The Destroyer
The Destroyer looked very impressive in this contest and has the fans on his side. He had the former U.S. champion in trouble and hit a Bombs Away kneedrop but as he went for the cover both GREG VALENTINE and OX BAKER hit the ring. The ref had no choice but to immediately disqualify Valentine as the 3 on 1 began. They continued to work over the masked man as JOHNNY VALENTINE hit three ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHERS that left him prone the mat. LWF officials were out to check his condition. Winner: The Destroyer by disqualification @ 7:34
-RINGSIDE- (Gordon Solie is ready to interview the World champion, Bruiser Brody.) GS; I’d like to speak to the man that has held the World Heavyweight championship for the last six months and he just came off a brutal feud with a very tough man in his own right, The Crusher and that is Bruiser Brody. BB: Solie. You’re right; The Crusher was a tough man. But as you can see here, I am the toughest. And you know what, for most of my career these so called champions always ducked me or got themselves disqualified when they got in the ring with me. But I got my chance in the LWF and look here, I am the champion. I know one thing I fear no man and I will duck no one. Those fancy suits can put me in the ring against anyone and I will come out on top. GS: The list continues to grow of men that want to get in the ring with you – HARLEY RACE, BUDDY ROGERS, NICK BOCKWINKEL, RICK RUDE and so on. BB: Like I said it don’t matter to me and the fans can boo me or cheer whatever they want or me. I got no time for them. I don’t intend on losing that fat paycheck that comes with this.
-20 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall- Harley Race (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. “Playboy”Buddy Rose
Rose wrestled an inspired match but interference marred the outcome. Bobby Heenan had the ref’s attention diverted when Gorgeous George’s valet, Cheri Dupree came out to ringside and while Rose came towards her she sprayed her hairspray in his eyes. This set up an easy PILEDRIVER from Race to get the three count. Rose rolled on the ground ad BRUTUS BEEFCAKE came out to help him to the back. Winner: Harley Race by pin @ 9:52
-LWF World Tag Team Title Match- 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- The Road Warriors © vs. The Midnight Express (w/Jim Cornette)
MW Jergs prior to BEACH BRAWL ordered this match and the new champions were ready for the challenge. A very even match until, HAWK went to the top rope and hit the DOOMSDAY DEVICE on BOBBY EATON. He appeared to be out but JIM CORNETTE rushed over and grabbed Eaton’s leg and put it on the ropes. The ref saw this and ordered Cornette to the locker room despite his protests. The match continued and the Warriors continued to gain momentum. They hit a double clothesline on STAN LANE and appeared ready to end the bout when JUSTIN CREDIBLE ran into the ring with his Singapore Cane and nailed both champions. The official called for the bell as Credible smashed away. Eaton hit an ALABAMA JAM on both men as LWF officials cleared the ring. The Road Warriors were out on the mat as the Express and Credible left separately. Winners: Road Warriors by disqualification @ 14:26

LWF Superstars June 23, 2000 Jackson, MS Jackson Convention Hall
VTR (Video of the Road Warriors defending their newly regained LWF World tag team championship against The Midnight Express. Justin Credible hits the ring with his Singapore Cane and causes the disqualification as the Express beat down the champions.)
GS: Good day wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of LWF SUPERSTARS. As you just saw the tag team title situation is still as heated as ever and it appears that JIM CORNETTE and his MIDNIGHT EXPRESS will stop at nothing to gain the tag team gold. We have an exciting program for you with the first LWF Television title defense by NICK BOCKWINKEL scheduled for our main event but I am told that the current LWF United States champion, “NATURE BOY” BUDDY ROGERS has demanded interview time, so let’s go to the ring.
IN RING (Buddy Rogers dressed in a suit with the belt over his shoulder is lead to the ring by Sherri Martel. Rogers looks serious as he grabs the mic and appears impatient.) BR: Needless to say I am not pleased. (Fans Boo) First of all I’m in Jackson, Mississippi and second of all I need to address a very large problem and that is a man that calls himself, RIC FLAIR. Now, Flair I realize that I am, just like many people out there, your hero. I mean and I can hardly blame you. I am the epitome of style, class, and humility. You have done everything you can to copy me in every way. But you understand that at BEACH BRAWL you made the mistake of a lifetime. You put your hands on me. I can’t help it that I slapped around your drinking buddy, that wannabe tough guy, ORTON. It’s not my fault that I am just that talented in the ring. So, let me say right here on national television that I am calling you out. Any place, anytime, when I’m ready for you and I’ll teach you another lesson about what it is to be the Nature Boy. I only wish that you were here right now. (“2001: A Space Odyssey” cranks over the loudspeakers as the fans erupt. Ric Flair walks down the aisle to the ring.) RF: Was I just dreaming or did you just call me out? You realize what you’ve just done. You’ve given yourself the worst problem you could ever dream of and that’s having to wrestle me. Just understand big man, that when it’s all said and done, I’ll take that gold strap and that pretty lady on your arm quicker than you can say, “Happy Hour”. Whooooooooo! BR: You know I’d love to get you in a ring but you do realize that you broke the law in Florida. You are a criminal. You stepped in that ring and you were not a wrestler in the LWF. So until you can do that it would be like me beating up any one of these toothless goons in the audience. RF: Oh. Ok. You want to know why I was here in Mississippi? Let me take this out. (Flair produces a piece of paper from his jacket.) You know what this is? This is a contract to wrestle in the LWF and I just signed it. So, what’s your excuse now? Let’s get an official and do it right here. BR: Hold on. You have to understand something. I am the champion and I decide, not you, when and who I wrestle and although I’d love to embarrass you right here. I have nothing to prove to you or them. You are a blatant copy of me and we know that sequels are always worse than the original. Let’s go sweetheart. (Rogers and Martel leave as the fans boo.) RF: Hey, Rogers. Just understand that Ric Flair is here to stay and you will have to deal with me at some point. Just know this, that when we finally meet you won’ t just call me Nature Boy, you’ll call me champ. Whoooooo!
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Masked Superstar (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. The Destroyer
A battle between two of the sports greatest masked men. The Destroyer reversed things and went lock in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK when BOBBY HEENAN jumped on the apron. The Destroyer was quick to leap up and grab Heenan by the collar and thrown him down off the apron. Heenan fell back and grabbed his neck. Superstar went for a clothesline and missed and the Destroyer clamped on the SLEEPER. Superstar could not escape and had to give up. After he came to, he helped Heenan to the back, as he looked shaken and perhaps hurt. Winner: Destroyer by submission @ 11:42
--THE HOT SEAT w/ Bill Apter- BA: Hello, wrestling fans and I am here with a man that everyone is talking about. We haven’t seen him since the WAR GAMES match back in April. But, he is here and is making his presence known and that is NIKOLAI VOLKOFF. Welcome Mr. Volkoff. (A man dressed in military garb grabs the microphone.) NB: Do not speak to this American slime. I will take care of this. BA: Excuse me, but that hardly seems necessary. Who do you think you are? NB: My name is General Nikita Breznikov and I will do all the talking for this interview. BA: I see. Well could you explain where Mr. Volkoff has been for the last several months and what his plans are in the future in the LWF? NB: Certainly. We are here for one reason and that is to eliminate the very essence of capitalist decadence, Ted DiBiase. Nikolai was under the employ of that pig DiBiase and he served him well but, when he was hurt doing his work, what did he do? He kicked him to the gutter like a dog. Typical American. Unfeeling and uncaring. For this he and those around him will pay a heavy price. BA: Do you have any final thoughts for our viewers? NB: Just this. First, I must address the man you know as the Iron Sheik, but Nikolai and I know him by his true name, Koshrow Varizi. You must choose, my old friend. If you lie with dogs, you will get treated like them. You must do the honorable thing and join your old comrades to rid the world of these types of scum. I expect your answer shortly. And DiBiase, understand this- A fool and his money are soon parted and you seem like the biggest fool around.
-1 Fall- 15 Minute Time Limit- Road Warrior Animal vs. Justin Credible
This was a challenge match made by Animal and he hit the ring and attacked Credible right from the start. He was all over him as Credible was able to muster little offense. Finally Credible ducked and Animal sailed to the outside. Soon, BOBBY EATON and STAN LANE were on the outside double-teaming the tag team titleholder. The ref saw this and called for the bell. The action was broken up hastily as HAWK flew down to the ring with a motorcycle chain. He swung wildly as the Express and Credible scattered for higher ground. Winner: Road Warrior Animal by Disqualification @ 3:55
-BACKSTAGE- (Cheri Dupree is grooming gorgeous George, as he is outfitted with a purple head covering that appears to be quite expensive. Gene Okerlund is standing by.) GO: Gorgeous George you asked for this interview time and what do you have to say to the fans out there? GG: I will speak slowly so you and these miscreants may understand me. I have not recovered from the indignity that I have suffered and I will make those responsible pay. GO: That’s quite a nice headpiece you have there. GG: Get your filthy hands off of me! Understand that I am a man of means, Okerlund. I will do what it takes to extract my revenge on that baboon, Buddy Rose, but his degenerate friends as well. I will pay handsomely to anyone who can perform the services that I require. GO: Are you putting up a bounty? GG: What an ugly term sir. Consider it a cash incentive to make the world a better place and perform a needed public service. Just realize Rose that it isn’t over.
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Ravishing” Rick Rude vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka
Bobby Heenan was unable to accompany Rude to the ring and Rude hoped to make up for this by attacking Snuka before the bell. He pressed the advantage until Snuka was able to rally. He used repeated chops and landed a heavy head butt. Snuka then mounted the top turnbuckle and hit the SUPERFLY DEATH LEAP to secure the victory. WINNER: Snuka by pin @ 9:25
-LWF World Television Title Match – 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- Nick Bockwinkel © vs. Buff Bagwell
Bockwinkel also had to get along without the services of the Brain. Bockwinkel had much more success than his stable mates. Bockwinkel dominated most of the match and put Bagwell away with the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK to get the win. Winner: Bockwinkel by submission @ 8:45

LWF Superstars June 30, 2000 Baton Rouge, LA Cajun Sportsplex
VTR (Video of the match between The Destroyer and Masked Superstar. Bobby Heenan tries to distract and gets pushed to the concrete. He is helped to the back after the match and appeared injured.)
Gordon Solie: Hello everyone and welcome to the next edition of LWF Superstars. As you saw at the top of the program, Bobby Heenan appears to have been injured but, it s hard to feel any sympathy what so ever for the man, as he was about to try and intervene in the match with his man, Masked Superstar. We will find out more later in the program. Also the LWF TV champion, Nick Bockwinkel will defend his title against “Playboy” Buddy Rose. We will also see the debut of Ric Flair. Yes, he is now in the LWF and you can expect that Buddy Rogers will be paying close attention to that one. Let’s go to the ring!
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Nature Boy” Ric Flair vs. “Dastardly” Danny Doring
Flair arrived with his music blaring and the fans going wild. Doring tried to attack before the bell but Flair was too smart for him. Flair dominated the action and applied the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and got the easy submission. As Flair tried to get up he was blindsided by BUDDY ROGERS, who quickly hit the ring and began stomping away. He sent Flair into o the ring post and threw him in shoulder first. Flair was in tremendous pain and lucky for him that COWBOY BOB ORTON rushed the ring to stop the attack. Rogers left the ring smiling as medics attended to a downed Flair. Winner; Ric Flair by submission @ 3:35
-Backstage- (GENE OKERLUND is in the locker room area with TED DiBIASE and VIRGIL.) GO: Ted DiBiase, I must ask you to comment on the recent interview that we saw last week about an old protégé of yours, Nikolai Volkoff. TD: Okerlund, all I know is that man was not fit for the Corporation. He failed me and he failed his team members. I do not accept failure. So I did what any good businessman does and that’s cut your losses and move on. Now if he wants to find me or any other members of the Corporation, we aren’t hard to find. GO: Well I’m sure that you saw that Mr. Volkoff has new representation with t his man General Nikita Breznikov. What do you make of this? TD: It doesn’t faze me in the least. Some guy who wants to play dress up, throw on a military uniform and talk tough doesn’t faze me. GO: On last thing, where is the Iron Sheik? I had hoped to ask him a few questions as well. TD: The Sheik is not here in the building today. He is taking care of Corporation business and just understand that he knows who pays his checks and he works for one man and that’s me!
-1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- #1 Contenders Match- Greg & Johnny Valentine (w/Capt. Lou Albano) vs. XXX (Brutus Beefacke & Buff Bagwell)
The winner of this tag team match would get a shot at the LWF World tag team titles. The Valentines did a nice job cutting off the ring and keeping Beefcake isolated. However, Bruti was able to make the quick tag and Bagwell went to work. He hit the Blockbuster on Greg and only got a two count. Then Albano jumped on the apron and forced Bagwell to take a swing at him. As he spun around, Johnny was now in the ring and hit the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER and got the pin to gain the title shot. Winners: Valentines by pinfall @ 13:40
-Backstage- (BOBBY HEENAN is seated in a recliner in his dressing room with a neck brace on. HARLEY RACE and RICK RUDE enter the picture.) HR: Please, be careful Bobby. BH: Ahh. Easy. I can’t believe that idiot did this to me. HR: Well, don’t worry about it everything is under control. I’ll take care of the Destroyer tonight. BH: Please make him suffer, like I have Harley. (Rude looks annoyed and rolls his eyes. Race turns to leave and talks with Rude away from Heenan.) HR: So, it looks like I’m up one. Only two left and Brody is all mine. RR: Yeah, yeah. Hey I have an idea. Since Bobby is on the shelf, you wouldn’t mind if I came out to make sure that punk gets what’s coming to him. HR: Now, I got it. RR: (loudly to Heenan) Hey Boss, I hate to see you look this way. I’d love to take your place to make sure that the hooded freak gets a serious beating. Please let me do this for you. BH: Yes. Please avenge me, Ricky. (Rude smirks at Race as the two leave for the ring.)
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- The Destroyer vs. Harley Race (w/ Rick Rude)
A very good match between these two men, as they gave it all they had. Race was ready to hit his Piledriver and got a back body drop instead. Rude jumped on the apron and the masked man hit a solid right that floored him. The Destroyer turned around and whipped Race off the ropes and locked in a SENSATIONAL SLEEPER. Rude had recovered and hit the ring and attacked Destroyer from behind. Rude stomped away and hit the RUDE AWAKENING, as LWF officials broke things up. Winner: The Destroyer by Disqualification @ 10:52 -1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Killer Kowalski (w/Jim Cornette) vs. Dan “The Beast” Severn
Severn used a variety of wrestling holds and throws to get the big man of his feet. He seemed to have the match in hand until Cornette distracted the official and tossed Kowalski his TENNIS RACKET. Kowalski nailed Severn full in the face with it and knocked him semi-conscious. The three count was academic as the ref turned around. Winner: Killer Kowalski by pinfall @ 8; 12
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit – LWF World Television Title Match- Nick Bockwinkel © vs. “Playboy” Buddy Rose
Rose was a game competitor and appeared to have Bockwinkel in trouble. He applied a HALF CRAB and wrenched back. Just then, GORGEOUS GEORGE made his way to ringside and motioned towards the back. MAD DOG and BUTCHER VACHON hit the ring and began pounding away on ROSE. They hit a HANGMAN’S NECKBREAKER on Rose and left him laying as BRUTUS BEEFCAKE and BUFF BAGWELL hit the ring and the VACHONS scampered off. Winner: Rose by Disqualification @ 11:50

mwjergs,
I always like reading your results. You have a great LOW fed.
One thing I have been noticing lately is that I think you are one of the only other LOW promoters other than myself to team the Valentines together. The Valentines have always done well for me and they're doing great for you too as your recent results show they've had victories in your fed over XXX (Bagwell and Beefcake), Snuka and Konnan, and Rocca and Londos.

Thanks a bunch. The Valentines are on a tear and will get their shot at the Road Warriors for tag gold soon. My attempt at a Roadies-Mx feud was ok as the Warriors dominated most matches including the cage blow off that ended in about 6 rolls. The fun thing will be trying to put together teams to beat them.

LWF Superstars July 9, 2000 Houston, TX The Summit
VTR (Video of The Vachons vicious double team attack on Buddy Rose. Rose was left prone on the mat in need of medical assistance.)
Gordon Solie: Hello and welcome fans to LWF Superstars. We have so much information to review with you and to do so I must bring out the head of the executive board and head promoter, M.W. Jergs. MWJ: (shaking hands) Thank you, Gordon. That is correct we have so much to talk to the fans about today. GS: Well, let’s begin with the video tape that we just saw as “MAD DOG” MAURICE and “BUTCHER” PAUL VACHON and their brutal attack on a now injured BUDDY ROSE. MWJ: The Executive Board has agreed that the attack was unprovoked and made little sense to anyone. The Vachons have wrestled in the LWF before but why they attacked Mr. Rose is still puzzling. Although it cannot be proven, there is speculation that they were hoping to collect the bounty placed on the head of Buddy Rose by GORGEOUS GEORGE. So, we have suspended the Vachons from competing in the LWF for 15 cards and we will monitor the activities of the gorgeous one. GS: A sound decision indeed. I should also point out that the injury list has increased in the LWF and if I could update that, BUDDY ROSE will be out of action for about 4 cards, RIC FLAIR will be out 4 cards as well due to the attack by BUDDY ROGERS last week, and finally STEVE CORINO should be ready to go in 3 cards. MWJ: We hope that all of these men will be ready to resume wrestling in the near future. Gordon, if I could continue. It was announced that the next LWF pay per view would be the LEGENDS INVITATIONAL CUP in BOSTON on August 19th and 20th and that the winning tag team would each receive one million dollars in they were to win this prestigious tag team tournament. We hope starting next week to announce 5 of the 24 teams that will be competing and will continue to update you all the way up to the special event. Teams from all over the globe have been sent invitations and it will be exciting to see who accepts. GS: No question about it. But, speaking of titles we must hold the greatest announcement for last. MWJ: That’s right. As many of the fans in Texas now, we have a new LWF World Heavyweight champion. He is ---(Interrupted by loud music and the voice of a jubilant BUDDY ROGERS. Rogers is dressed in an expensive suit and SHERRI MARTEL is dress in a red low cut gown. Rogers makes his way to the ring as confetti begins to rain down on the arena.)
BR: Well. I want all of you no class trailer park scum to take a look at how the other half lives. I want all of you to take out your cameras and take a picture. So you can gaze upon it at any time and see, that this is what a champion looks like. (Smiles and poses) Only in the finest suits, perfectly groomed appearance and with a hot little number on his arm, this truly is the champion’s day. I mean, you can’t really expect anyone to take a guy who wears fuzzy booties, and growls into the microphone as a serious wrestler? So I am happy to slay the dragon and show all of you the proper way to act, dress, and talk. I am and always will be your champion! (Fans Boo – “Immigrant Song” blares over the P.A. and Rogers changes his demeanor as BRUISER BRODY hits the ring and Rogers and Martel scurry for cover.) BB: Huss! Huss! Huss! Rogers you have something that belongs to me. You can talk all you want but anyone who was in Dallas a few night ago knows that the only reason you have that belt is standing right next to ya and she’s wearing a dress. BR: Hold on. How can you think about ruining my special day? I beat you right in the middle of the ring and you can make up whatever stories you want but I am the champion. BB: I may not be that bright but I do know that after holding that belt for almost seven months, I do get one thing and that’s a rematch. BR: Cool your heels pal. I’ll decide when you are worthy enough for a re-match, when I decide. Let’s go toots. (M.W. Jergs has made it to the ring.) MWJ: Hold on, Mr. Rogers, contrary to what you believe you do not decide what happens here. I will make this decision right now. Next week on Superstars, Mr. Brody will get his re-match and Ms. Martel will be banned from ringside! (Rogers protests) If you don’t want to adhere to this ruling, you may drop the belt off right here.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall Antonino Rocca vs. Ox Baker (w/ Capt. Lou Albano)
Baker was able to overpower the smaller Rocca most of the match. He had him set up for a CLOTHESLINE but ROCCA ducked and hit a succession of FLYING DROPKICKS that had him in trouble. Sensing trouble, Albano jumped on the apron to distract Rocca and tossed a white powder towards him. Rocca alertly ducked and it hit Baker who had just made it to his feet. Rocca took advantage and used a schoolboy pin to get the win. Albano tried to help Baker up but the big man was furious. He delivered a two handed shove to the pudgy manager and left without him. Winner: Rocca by pinfall @ 10:23
RINGSIDE: GS: I must add one more announcement from the top of the hour. Since BUDDY ROGERS is the new LWF World Champion, he must relinquish the United States Heavyweight Title. There will be a tournament held July 13th in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Here are the brackets for the first round: HARLEY RACE vs. COWBOY BOB ORTON KILLER KOWALSKI vs. THE DESTROYER TED DIBIASE vs. DAN SEVERN RICK RUDE vs. JIM LONDOS
-15 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall- Nikolai Volkoff (w/ Gen. Nikita Breznikov) vs. Virgil (w/ Ted DiBiase)
Virgil charged at the big Russian and was quickly tossed over the top rope. Volkoff grabbed the mic and in his broken English ordered DIBIASE into the ring! DiBiase hesitated but finally after the fans goading him constantly. He stepped in and Volkoff went to work. He used a variety of power moves until he unwisely went to the turnbuckle and missed a kneedrop. DiBiase worked the legs and set up a FIGURE FOUR. Volkoff grabbed the ropes and got the hold released. He then amazed the crowd and his former employer as he scooped him up into a BACKBREAKER DROP. Virgil knew this could be it and leapt to the apron. BREZNIKOV tried to intervene but KING KONG BUNDY who had come out to ringside nailed him from behind. BUNDY and VIRGIL then joined the attack with DIBIASE in the ring on VOLKOFF. The ref had no choice but to ring the bell. The assault continued until DIBIASE waved to the back and THE IRON SHEIK came to the ring. DIBIASE ordered the Iranian to attack Volkoff as he was held wide open. The sheik was unsure and stood and looked at his friend. After a few tense moments, the sheik loaded up his boot and kicked Volkoff in the chest. He continued to stomp away until LWF officials broke up the attack. Winner: Volkoff by Disqualification @ 6:44
THE HOT SEAT w/ BILL APTER BA: Today, my guest is a man that many are claiming had something to do with his rival being injured last week. That man is GORGEOUS GEORGE. (George is wearing a Colonial style wig over his shorn head and Ms. CHERI DUPREE is tending to his garments and hairstyle.) BA: I’d like to begin with the question that many people have wanted to ask. Were you involved in the recent attack on your nemesis, Buddy Rose? (George is ignoring Apter as he is fixing his wig.) BA: Could you please? GG: Oh heavens, it is not my fault that no one likes that insufferable toad. Maybe he just upset the wrong people this time. BA: But, I must bring up that not too long ago you offered what you called a “cash incentive” to get rid of Buddy Rose. GG: I did no such thing. I do not like the tone of your voice and it needs to change this instant. BA: But, we can play the tape if you’d like. (George is out of his seat; his face is red as he advances towards Apter.) GG: What nerve you have? A common pencil pusher and you have the gaul to accuse me of such barbarity. I should strike you and wipe that smug look off of your face. (Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell hit the scene and Beefcake steals George’s wig off of his head. George immediately covers up with two hands and runs for cover.) -LWF Television Title Match – 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- Nick Bockwinkel (w/ Bobby Heenan) © vs. Konnan
Bockwinkel was in control almost the entire bout. He needed only to lock in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK to retain his title after only a few minutes. Winner: Bockwinkel by submission @ 3:33
-LWF World Tag Team Title Match – 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- The Road Warriors © vs. Greg & Johnny Valentine (w/ Capt. Lou Albano)
Greg and Road Warrior Animal started off first for both teams. The Valentines tried to cut in the ring in half and used some double teams to get control. Animal caught Greg on a backdrop attempt and hit a solid piledriver. The Warriors then went to the double team attacks also and Hawk went to the top rope. This brought Albano to the ring apron and he grabbed hold of the official as the Warriors hit the DOOMSDAY DEVICE. The ref was still held up and could not make the pin and this allowed Johnny to enter the ring to break any count. The ref finally got away and ordered Albano to the back before the match could continue. At that point the Warriors were hard to stop as later, Animal caught Greg off the ropes into a ferocious POWER SLAM to retain the tag titles. Winners: Road Warriors by pin @ 8:45.
