LWF Superstars March 3, 2000 Richmond, VA Richmond Pavilion Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of last week’s show with The Iron Sheik taking it to Nick Bockwinkel. The sudden arrival of Bobby Heenan’s latest protégé, Rick Rude turns the tide and chases off DiBiase’s men.) Gordon Solie: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to LWF Superstars and as you can see Bobby Heenan has upped the ante and called in for reinforcements in the form of “Ravashing” Rick Rude. We will see Mr. Rude in action in our tag team main event as he teams with fellow Heenan Family member the Masked Superstar as they square off against King Kong Bundy and the leader of the Corporation himself, Ted DiBiase. Also I must announce that we have a new United States heavyweight champion in Bobo Brazil as he defeated Johnny Valentine a few days ago and he will be in the Hot Seat with Bill Apter. This and much more coming up.
-15 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall “Cowboy” Bob Orton vs. Ox Baker (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
Baker attacked Orton from the bell and had things going his way. Orton reversed an Irish whip and caught Baker with a Powerslam. He continued this momentum and caught the big man with a Piledriver and got the three count. After the match, The Sandman and Crusher quickly rushed out to ringside. Crusher distracted Albano as Sandman used his Singapore Cane to whack Baker in the head. He then hit a DDT on a chair thrown in by Crusher. Baker was out and needed assistance to the back. Winner: Orton by pinfall @ 7:32
Backstage: (Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch look agitated as Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell are sharing a laugh.) Candido tells them to listen up. He finally feels well and is ready to take out his frustration on the man that put him out, Antonino Rocca. He wants to know if they know what to do. Bagwell wasn’t listening and responds with a “yeah sure.” Sytch gets angry and slaps Bagwell. She is beet red and goes on a tirade saying that this is not a joke and that unless he and Beefcake start pulling their weight they might need to make some EXTREME changes in the Triple Threat.
-30 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall Chris Candido (w/ Tammy Sytch) vs. Antonino Rocca
Candido started off quickly as he was ready to repay Rocca for putting him out. He got two near falls but couldn’t get it done. Rocca then put on a wrestling clinic and had Candido in grave danger in the Argentinean Backbreaker. Sytch made a motion to the back and Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell came out to the ringside. Bagwell started posing for the fans as Sytch was yelling at him. Ref, Nick Patrick saw both men and ordered them to the back. Rocca reapplied his hold and Candido had no choice but to submit. Winner: Rocca by submission @ 8:22 The Hot Seat w/ Bill Apter BA: Hello wrestling fans, I’m Bill Apter and this is the HOT SEAT and my guest today is the new United States Champion, Bobo Brazil. Congratulations on such a tremendous accomplishment. BB: Thank you Bill. I must say that I am very happy to have had the opportunity and I made the most of it to claim this championship. I beat one of the greats in Johnny Valentine. (Johnny Valentine comes out to interrupt.) BA: Johnny Valentine? Why are you here this is Mr. Brazil’s interview time? JV: I just wanted to make sure that Mr. Brazil heard what I told him after our match. BA: Yes, we did notice that you shook hands after the match and that you pulled him in and had a few more words. JV: I just want to everyone to know that I should be the first man to face him and I will invoke my rematch clause very soon. BB: Johnny I certainly will be happy to wrestle you but I don’t make the matches. Yes you will get your rematch. JV: (Looking annoyed) Ok. But I will get the first rematch and I will get that shot. BA: Okay Mr. Valentine please. You will get the shot now if we could finish the interview. JV: Fine. If I could ask one favor and just touch the title one more time. BB: (Looks oddly) Ok I guess. (Brazil hands the title over and Valentine clutches it. Brazil puts his hands out and Valentine rears back and slams the belt in Brazil’s face knocking him over. He then drops the belt on his chest and walks away.) BA: We need to get some help out here. See you next time on the HOT SEAT. -15 Minute Time Limit –1 Fall Road Warrior Hawk vs. Nikolai Volkoff (w/ Virgil)
A great match between two powerful superstars. Late in the match, Hawk went to the top rope and landed a Flying Clothesline and went for a cover. This brought out the iron Sheik who immediately attacked Hawk and began stomping away. Road Warrior Animal was soon behind and all four men were brawling. The Warriors got the better of this one as Volkoff and Sheik headed to the back. Winner: Road Warrior Hawk by Disqualification @ 10:11
-Main Event- 30 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall “Ravashing” Rick Rude & Masked Superstar (w/ Bobby Heenan) vs. Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy (w/ Virgil )
Another intense match to add to the Heenan Family-Corporation feud. Late in the contest, DiBiase had the Superstar in the Million Dollar Dream. Bobby Heenan jumped on the ring apron and DiBiase let go and grabbed Heenan by the jacket. Superstar kneed DiBiase in the back and tagged in Rude. They executed a Double Neckbreaker and then Rude hit his Rude Awakening to get the three count. As Rude tried to celebrate, the Iron Sheik was out again and attacked Rude from behind. This brought out Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race for Heenan’s side and Nikolai Volkoff for DiBiase. A hug brawl breaks out as all hell has broken loose as LWF officials try and restore order as the camera fades.

LWF Superstars March10, 2000 Las Vegas, NV Showboat Sports Pavilion Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of the “Hot Seat” interview with new United States champion, Bobo Brazil. Johnny Valentine interrupts and slams the title belt into Brazil’s face.)
Gordon Solie: Good evening and welcome to LWF Superstars. It appears that Johnny Valentine is not willing to give up his belt so easily as he is first in line to get a shot at Bobo Brazil. We have an exciting program as always for you but I do have word that the Road Warriors are headed to the ring and they have some words to share with all of the LWF. (Animal and Hawk storm to the ring and grab a mic.) Animal starts first and demands that Bobby Heenan get out here right now. Heenan is out and appears annoyed. Animal says that the Warriors are ready to cash in their number one contenders victory and want Race and Bockwinkel tonight. But, they know that if they won’t get a fair fight, so they want a Chicago Street Fight here in Las Vegas. Heenan responds that the challengers don’t make demands and he says that it won’t happen. Hawk then adds that they are so confident that of they don’t win tonight they will leave the LWF for 30 days. Heenan is interested but says no deal. Hawk says fine, sixty days. Heenan smiles and says they are on.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs. The Destroyer (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
Snuka was fairly dominant in this contest. He used his Superfly Death Leap to secure the three count despite Albano’s attempts at interference. Winner: Snuka by pinfall @ 5:55
-Locker Room- (Gorgeous George is getting prepared by Cheri Dupree and Buddy Rose is trying to get ready himself. Rose is trying to get on a new robe but isn’t having much luck.) George reprimands his new protégé and says that a gentleman doesn’t dress himself. He asks Buddy where his valet is or his manservant? Rose thinks and says that he has someone in mind but he hasn’t gotten a call back yet. George just sneers and says that he must get a new jacket that fits and he must get that mop of hair trimmed properly. Rose agrees and says that he will have someone here soon. George says that he better or this arrangement is over. -15 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall- The Killer Bees vs. Gorgeous George & “Playboy” Buddy Rose (w/ Cheri Dupree)
George and Rose work well together early in the match. George applies his Gorgeous Grip on Blair and has to release the hold when he slams back into the turnbuckle. A hot tag to Brunzell and the match turns. A few double team moves and a Bee Sting by Blair and the Bees get the win. Winners: Killer Bees by pinfall @ 9:11
-15 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall- “Ravashing” Rick Rude (w/ Bobby Heenan) vs. The Iron Sheik (w/ Virgil)
Rude and Sheik didn’t wait for the bell. Rude was all over the Iranian and it was all offense. The Sheik sidestepped Rude and tossed him outside and followed him. Bedlam broke lose as chairs and tables were used. The ref lost all control and threw this one out. Winner: Double-Disqualification @ 2:25 -LWF World Tag Team Title Match – Chicago Street Fight – 1 Fall to a Finish- Nick Bockwinkel & Harley Race (w/Bobby Heenan) (c.) vs. The Road Warriors
Gary Michael Cappetta gave the rules for the match. There would be no one at ringside and no one would be allowed to interfere. This sent Heenan into a frenzy as he was ordered to the back. There will be no disqualifications and no countouts and there must be a winner. Race and Animal started out first. The champs had the early advantage until the match was taken to the floor. Hawk did the most damage as he took Bockwinkel through the exit door and slammed him up against a parked car. Bockwinkel was never the same after that. The Warriors worked the injury and Animal used a vicious Powerslam to get the pinfall and to win the titles much to the delight of the crowd. Bockwinkel was still prone on the mat and had to be helped to the back. Winners: (New LWF World tag team champions) Road Warriors by pinfall @ 13:24

LWF Superstars March 17, 2000 Milwaukee, WI The Mecca Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of last week as The Road Warriors capture the LWF World Tag Team Titles from Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel.) Gordon Solie: Welcome to another edition of LWF Superstars and as you saw we have new LWF World Tag Team champions as the Road Warriors were victorious in a Chicago Street Fight. A quick note in that it seems that Nick Bockwinkel as a result of that match and other lingering injuries will be out of action for at least 2 months. No word as to how this will affect the Heenan family. We another outstanding show for you but it seems that once again I’ll let the superstars do the talking. The World champion is headed to the ring.
(Bruiser Brody walks to the ring with his title belt across his waist.) Brody says he never realized how easy it was to be a champion. You come out, knock some little weasel on his back and collect a hefty paycheck. No one seems to want to really challenge me and I guess that means that the wrestlers here are a bit smarter because I am the wrecking machine. So I figured to make things interesting, tonight we will have what I call, the Bruiser Brody Invitational. And the winner, I guess you could call him that gets a title shot against me at the UIC Pavillion in Chicago, Illinios next week. That seems to be the only way that I can get anybody to step in the ring with me. (Brody storms off , stomping and giving his signature “Huss!” to the crowd.)
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- S.D. Jones vs. Virgil
A back and forth match between these two. Jones reversed the Sleeperhold on Virgil and got the win. Winner: Jones by submission @ 10:43
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- Crusher & The Sandman vs. Jimmy & Johnny Valiant (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
Albano made it clear that he thought that the Sandman was a bum, to attack Ox Baker when his back was turned showed what a pathetic drunk he is. Baker will be back to deal with you but for now I’ve told my boys to win one for Ox. A wild brawl ensues between the two teams. The ref has trouble keeping things in order, as all four men are in the ring, Johnny leaps from the top rope with a flying press on Sandman that catches him off guard for the three. Winners: The Valiants by pinfall @ 14:32
-In Ring- (Chris Candido, Tammy Sytch, Buff Bagwell, and Brutus Beefcake are in the ring. Bagwell and Beefcake are clowning as they make their way into the squared circle.)
Candido starts first. He says that he wants to meet the challenge presented by the LWF, the best wrestlers ever competing in the ring. He wants to prove that he can wrestle and that he is not some kind of joke. But that is hard when you have a couple of screw balls like Bagwell and Beefcake. I’ve tried my best but you guys are nothing but dead weight. Wrestling is serious business, and I told you that there some extreme changes to be made so, you guys can leave and do whatever it is that you do. You are fired. Bagwell starts complaining and gets in Candido’s face and Beefcake starts arguing with Tammy. Sytch motions to the back and Steve Corino and Justin Credible emerge, each with a weapon in hand. Both men decimate Bagwell and Beefcake and leave then laying. Sytch says that this is a new chapter in their careers as they are NO GIMMICKS NEEDED.
-1 Fall- 15 Minute Time Limit- “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs. Nikolai Volkoff (w/ Ted DiBiase)
Another great brawl here in this one. They fought in and out of the ring. Finally Volkoff nailed Duggan with his Russian Flag and threw him into the steps. The ref had no choice but to call for the disqualification as Volkoff left the ring laughing. Winner: Duggan by disqualification @ 6:05
-Bruiser Brody Invitational- 12 Man Battle Royal-
Order of Elimination: 1) Harley Race by Mil Mascaras 2) Mil Mascaras by Ted DiBiase 3) Chris Candido by Bobo Brazil 4) Buddy Rogers by Johnny Valentine 5) Jimmy Snuka by King Kong Bundy 6) Cowboy Bob Orton by King Kong Bundy 7) Bobo Brazil by Johnny Valentine 8) George Hackenschmidt by King Kong Bundy 9) Ted DiBiase by Antonino Rocca 10) Johnny Valentine by Antonino Rocca 11) King Kong Bundy
Winner: Antonino Rocca
Brody was providing commentary at ringside and looked at Rocca and made a slashing signal across his throat and told him to get ready for Chicago.

mwjergs,
As usual, this was another good card. I liked the Bruiser Brody Invitational battle royal. I also use Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell as a tag team (I call them the Heart Thrashers) in my Major League Wrestling fed- it will be interesting to see how they do for you now that they are no longer associated with Chris Candido and Tammy. I think Beefcake and Bagwell need a match against Steve Corino and Justin Credible to settle the score. I am eager to see what happens next week in the LWF in Chicago when Rocca takes on Brody!

My Thanks, Mr.Vegas. I need to post comments to all the promoters more often. It's nice to get some feedback.
I thought about stealing that name (Heart Thrashers or Heartbreakers) for Buff and Beef. I think they will be more of a DX type team, lots of joking around. They are not done in the LWF and will try to give NO GIMMICKS NEEDED a run for their money.

LWF Superstars March 24, 2000 Detroit, MI Joe Louis Arena Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of Antonino Rocca winning the Battle Royal for a shot at Bruiser Brody and the LWF Title.) Gordon Solie: Good day and welcome to another installment of LWF Superstars and as you saw Antonino Rocca was to have the next chance to become the LWF World Heavyweight champion in Chicago. Mr. Rocca did not become the champion in fact as a result of a post match attack he will be out of action once again. This begs the question, who will stop Bruiser Brody? He has been unstoppable during the title reign. More news out of Chicago as the disabled list continues to grow as the Heenan Family and the Million Dollar Corporation intensifies in their war with no end in sight. We have quite a bit of action for you today as Bobby Heenan has invoked his rematch clause and the LWF World Tag Team champions, The Road Warriors will face Harley Race and Masked Superstar. Also in Bill Apter’s HOT SEAT will be Rick Rude as well as a host of others.
-1 Fall- 15 Minute Time Limit- Crusher vs. The Destroyer (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
A very competitive match. Crusher moved out of the way of a kneedrop attempt and scooped the masked man up into a Bearhug. Destroyer had no way out and conceded. Crusher’s partner, The Sandman came running to the ring with beers and his cane. He walloped Albano from behind and then smashed Destroyer for good measure. He tossed Crusher a beer and the two left the scene. Winner: Crusher by submission @ 13:10
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers vs. King Kong Bundy (w/Ted DiBiase)
Rogers wanted to revenge from their last encounter when Bundy put him through a table. Rogers tried to stay away from the big man and outwrestle him. Bundy’s power was too much and he whipped Rogers into the buckle. Bundy built up a head of steam for the Avalanche but Rogers ducked at the second and Bundy missed and went face first into the pole. Rogers cradled him up for the three count. Winner: Rogers by pinfall @ 7:01
-VTR- (Backstage with Gorgeous George, Cheri Dupre, Buddy Rose and Sherri Martel.) They are discussing strategy for their upcoming tag team match. George is all over Rose about his ring robe and that there are only four buttons on it when there should be six. George says maybe if your help were better, as he cast an eye towards Sherri. Martel rolls her eyes. Dupre is berating Martel as well talking of how a proper lady dresses and acts during a match. Martel is wearing a full-length dress up to her neck that she is clearly uncomfortable with. Rose tells them both that they will try harder and asks for some time alone to get things straightened out. George and Dupre leave as George mentions he has time for a facial before match time. Sherri is visibly upset and says that she didn’t sign on for this. She is happy to be back and helping Rose out but there is only so much of this I can take. Rose assures her it will all work out, he says it isn’t often you get to learn from a true legend and he’s making the best of it, so should Martel.
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Chris Candido (w/Tammy Sytch) vs. Buff Bagwell
Bagwell attacks Candido as he enters the ring and the match is on. Good action in this one. Late in the contest Bagwell hit the Buff Blockbuster and goes for the cover. Sytch jumps on the apron and pulls the straps of her dress down. Bagwell is buying it and rubs his hands together. Steve Corino and Justin Credible hit the ringside area. Corino talks to ref, Scrappy McGowan, while Credible smacks the Singapore Cane on Bagwell’s head. The ref sees it and calls for the bell. A three on one ensues until Brutus Beefcake arrives with a chair to clear the ring. Winner: Bagwell by Disqualification @ 10:33
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Gorgeous George & “Playboy” Buddy Rose (w/ Cheri Dupre & Sherri Martel) vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & “Cowboy” Bob Orton
Orton and Snuka dominate the matchup. They look very good teaming for the first time and it appears that the ladies must try and step in. Dupre tries to distract the official but to no avail. Martel decides to rip off her dress revealing a leather low cut outfit. She mounts the top turnbuckle and while the ref is trying to get George out of the ring she lands on Snuka. All four men now are in the ring, and Snuka recovers to hit George with a Flying Headbutt for the win. Winners: Orton & Snuka by pinfall @ 15:42
The HOT SEAT w/ Bill Apter BA: Hello wrestling fans and my guests today on the HOT SEAT are two men that are never strangers to controversy, Bobby ‘the Brain” Heenan and “Ravishing” Rick Rude. Hello gentlemen. BH: The pleasure is all yours, Apter. BA: Let me ask you, your war with Ted DiBiase’s Million-Dollar Corporation seems to have no end in sight. What do you hope to achieve from these ongoing battles? BH: Hey, DiBiase and his buffoons stuck their noses where it didn’t belong. He tried to buy the greatest tag team in the LWF and when he couldn’t get his way like most rich boys he cried about it. So we intend to finish what he started with me, until he’s left bankrupt. BA: And now you your family no longer holds the LWF Tag team titles. BH: Of course you bring that up. I hold DiBiase directly responsible for that loss. If Nick Bockwinkel weren’t such a courageous man and listened to doctor’s orders we might still have the belts. But all in due time, first we owe DiBiase. BA: That leads me to Mr. Rude. Why are you here in the LWF? RR: Bobby Heenan is a close friend of mine and he said that he needed help I responded. And I know how to get the job done. Just ask the Iron Sheik. Ha Ha. BA: Yes, it appears the Sheik is out of action as well. BH: The payback I referred to. (Ted DiBiase and King Kong Bundy walk out to the broadcast area.) TD: Listen up boys. I’ll make this quick so you can understand. This started out as business but you’ve made it personal. Next week, myself and the largest man in the LWF, King Kong Bundy will face you Rude and anyone else you have left in that family of yours. BH: You’re on. You will regret ever thinking that you could put anything over on the Brain. BA: May I finish the interview, please. TD: That’s fine I’m done. (DiBiase and Bundy leave.) BA: So I— BH: I have nothing left to say! Come’on Rick. (Heenan and Rude leave.) BA: No end in sight to this one. I’ll see you at the matches.
-TV Main Event- LWF World Tag Team Title Match- 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit The Road Warriors (c.) vs. Harley Race & Masked Superstar (w/Bobby Heenan)
The Warriors looked very strong with crisp tags and double team moves. This didn’t last long as all four were in the ring and Animal came flying off the ropes with a Flying Shoulderblock to get the win over the Superstar. As Heenan’s team came out of the ring DiBiase’s clan attacked them as they came out of the crowd. Volkoff hammered away on a dazed Superstar and slammed him into the ringpost. Bundy layed out Race and slammed him on the concrete, while DiBiase hammered Heenan with a right hand. Volkoff then set up Superstar on a ringside table and Bundy mounted the ring apron. He came off with a Big Splash that sent Superstar through the wood. Rick Rude then hit the arena and chased off DiBiase’s men with a baseball bat. The damage was done as the cameras faded to black. Winners: Road Warriors by pinfall @ 5:35
*Masked Superstar is injured for 8 cards (Back injury)

LWF Superstars March 31, 2000 New Orleans, LA Lakefront Arena Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of last week’s LWF Superstars program as King Kong Bundy splashed the Masked Superstar through a ringside table. Rick Rude rushed to the scene with a baseball bat to clear the area.) Gordon Solie: Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of LWF Superstars. You just witnessed the post match attack on one of Bobby Heenan’s family members, the Masked Superstar and you should know that he suffered a back injury as a result of the Big Splash by King Kong Bundy and will be out for a period of time. This war between Ted DiBiase’s Million Dollar Corporation and the Bobby Heenan Family has intensified to unseen levels as each are trying to take out soldiers from the other. Well may I please introduce an important man; he is the head of the LWF, MW Jergs. (A man in a three-piece suit emerges and shakes hands with Gordon.) MWJ: Thank you, Mr. Solie. Yes, I am the president of the LWF and I am always watching what goes on in this federation. It is very rare that I make television appearances but I felt that I needed to make a few important announcements and for these I would like to bring out Bobby Heenan and Ted DiBiase. (Both DiBiase accompanied by Virgil and Heenan who is seconded by Rick Rude appear.) MWJ: Gentlemen I must say that the level of violence in your competition has gotten a bit out of hand. The injuries on both sides accumulate and there needs to be a way to settle this feud. I have the solution. The LWF will be holding it’s second Pay Per View event, LWF: Night of Legends in Orlando, Florida on April 16th. You will each select four members that will represent you and we will have a match – the match beyond – WAR GAMES!!! Now I understand that we have a challenge match from last week and that match will take place here tonight but I will add a stipulation. It will be Ted DiBiase and King Kong Bundy versus Rick Rude and Harley Race and the winner will get the Coin Flip for the War Games matchup. So you will maintain the advantage. Also, there will be NO one allowed at ringside for tonight’s match, anyone interfering in the match by doing so will be suspended immediately. After this evening there will be no more matches between wrestlers in either’s employ against each other until April 16th. This should give some time to heal and have your men fresh and ready to fight. Do you both understand? (Both men nod.) MWJ: Good. Mr. Solie I am late for a meeting for I must excuse myself. GS: The next LWF Pay Per View has been announced and it will be headlined by WAR GAMES. Let’s go to the ring!
-1 Fall- 15 Minute Time Limit- Greg “The Hammer” Valentine (w/Johnny Valentine) vs. S.D. Jones
Jones more than held his own during the match. It wasn’t until Johnny tripped up his legs that Greg dropped the Hammer elbow and locked in the Figure Four Leglock. Jones quickly conceded and the match was over. Winner: Valentine by submission @ 6:34
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Steve Corino (w/Tammy Sytch) vs. Brutus Beefcake
Not much wrestling in this match as Corino inflamed Brother Bruti when he used a ringside weapon on him opening a cut above his eye. Beefcake tossed Corino to the outside and used everything he could find on his foe. The ref tried to restore order and Beefcake accidentally slammed him with a chair. This brought out Justin Credible, Chris Candido and Buff Bagwell in a wild brawl. LWF officials came out to restore order and when the smoke cleared the lead official had disqualified Beefcake for the chair shot. Winner: Corino by Disqualification @ 11:41
-1 Fall – Last Man Standing Match- No Time Limit- Ox Baker vs. The Sandman
Ox Baker had returned with a mic in his hand and was calling out the Sandman. He said that he was ready to fight and challenged him to a Last Man Standing Match. Sandman’s music cued up and he staggered out with his Singapore Cane over his head. All others were banned from ringside as the fight began. This was surprisingly one-sided as Baker took the fight to Sandman. Baker was able to finish things off with the dreaded Heart Punch that sent Sandman to the concrete. After the match was over the Crusher came out and poured beer over the Sandman’s face. He slowly got up with a small smile on his lips and grabbed another beer and limped off. Winner: Baker by knockout @ 14:52
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit – Winner gets Team Advantage at War Games- “Ravishing” Rick Rude & Harley Race vs. Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy
No one would be allowed at ringside or could interfere under penalty of suspension. Both sides were cautious to start and then things loosened up. Late in the match all four men were in the ring and Bundy reversed a whip by Race and then smashed him with the Avalanche into the turnbuckle. Bundy demanded the five count and got it as Race was out. DiBiase quickly slid back in after throwing Rude to the outside and began pointing out instructions. DiBiase held Race’s legs and Bundy threw himself off the ropes once, twice, and then a third time. Race was motionless as the camera faded. Winners: DiBiase & Bundy by pinfall @ 10:17
*Race is injured for 6 cards (Chest injury)

LWF Superstars April 7, 2000 East Rutherford, NJ The Meadowlands Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of the tag main event and the finish that saw King Kong Bundy splash Harley Race and cause a chest injury as they camera went to black.)
Gordon Solie: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to LWF Superstars. Last week we had some major news as the head of the LWF made some stunning announcements. LWF: A Night of Legends will be held in Orlando, Florida on April 16th and it will be headed by the first ever War Games between the Heenan Family and Ted DiBiase’s Million Dollar Corporation. We also know that the Corporation by virtue of their victory last week will have the coin toss advantage. We also have another injury to report as Harley Race was splashed repeatedly by King Kong Bundy and will be out of action. We only hope that the edict handed down that no member of the Heenan Family or Corporation would tangle before the War Games match. So things are shaping up for our second pay per view event. On today’s program we have a very special tag team match as well as the Valentines square off against LWF United States champion, Bobo Brazil and Special Delivery Jones.
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs. “Dastardly” Danny Doring
Doring could muster no offense in this one. Snuka made quick work of him and hit the Superfly Death Leap for the win. Winner: Snuka by pinfall @ 2:03
Interview with Gordon Solie (Jimmy Snuka joins Solie at the podium.) Snuka says that he’s ready to move on from the feuds that have kept him from pursuing the titles that he should. He hopes that he will be the one to get the title shot at Bruiser Brody at A Night of Legends. Solie says that that announcement should be made next week and says that he should get one. “Playboy” Buddy Rose and Sherri Martel interrupt them and Rose claims that he hasn’t even started with Snuka yet. Rose calls Snuka a savage and says that he’ll talk slow so he can understand. Snuka has had enough but says that he has nothing left to prove. Rose laughs and challenges him to a match at the Legends pay per view and Martel slaps Snuka in the face before they leave. Snuka is excited and says that Rose is on.
-1 Fall- 15 Minute Time Limit- Chris Candido (w/Tammy Sytch) vs. The Crusher
The match went back and forth as Crusher hit a backdrop on Candido and then a Bolo Punch. Then Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell came out to ringside and harassed Tammy. She tried to slap Beefcake who blocked her hand and Bagwell then tossed her over his shoulder and then took off back to the locker room. Candido was tossed into the buckle and flipped over the ropes. He looked around and saw that Sytch was missing and took off to the back. He ignored the match and paid for it as the ref counted ten. Winner: Crusher by countout @ 10:24
-1 Fall- 15 Minute Time Limit- “Cowboy” Bob Orton vs. King Kong Bundy (w/Ted DiBiase)
Bundy used a variety of power moves to put the hurt on Orton. The tide turned when Bundy mounted the second buckle and went for a splash. Orton recovered and gouged his eyes and then in an amazing feat of strength delivered a Superplex for the three count and continued his undefeated streak in the LWF. Winner: Orton by pinfall @ 5:45
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- Greg & Johnny Valentine vs. Bobo Brazil & S.D. Jones
The Valentines used double team moves and Johnny hit a Skullcrusher on Brazil to hurt his foe. Brazil mounted his comeback on Greg and hit three Coco Butts and went for the cover. Johnny hit the ring and Jones cut him off as all four started to brawl. The ref lost control and threw this one out. Winners: Double Disqualification @ 11:32

LWF Superstars April 14, 2000 Norfolk, VA The Scope Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of Chris Candido leaving the ring during his match with The Crusher as he looks for Tammy Sytch.)
Gordon Solie: Hello wrestling fans and we are just days away from the LWF: A Night of Legends and we will give you a full rundown of the action at the conclusion of this program. You saw that the top of the program as Chris Candido’s manager, Tammy Sytch was for lack of a better word, abducted by former members of his Triple Threat group, Buff Bagwell and Brutus Beefcake. We hope to hear more on that situation. In the meantime, Mr. Candido will get a shot at the United States Title held by Bobo Brazil in main event. We have that and much more as we gear up for the LWF’s second Pay Per view extravaganza.
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- The Crusher & The Sandman vs. The Destroyer & Ox Baker (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
Before the match began the Sandman addressed his opponents. He said that he was tired out getting one upped by his drinking buddy and that he wanted Ox Baker in the ring one last time, in a First Blood Match. Albano responded saying that they were tired of beating on him but Baker grabbed the mic and said that the Sandman has been nothing but a stone in my shoe and it’s about time to get rid of you for all. If this is what it takes, I’ll do it. The match quickly degenerated into a four-man brawl with Baker attacking Sandman on the outside. Baker threw his foe into the ringpost and as the ref tried to get the action inside Baker tossed the ref to the ground. With Albano urging him on, Baker slammed a chair on Sandman’s skull as he opened up a gash. Winners: Crusher & Sandman by Disqualification @ 5:25
-Backstage- (Gorgeous George is getting his nails done by Cheri Dupree as Buddy Rose and Sherri Martel were listening.) George was saying that he thinks he made a mistake trying to help Rose out. He demands that his help be better controlled and that he must make sure that he overcomes the savage, Snuka. Martel wasn’t happy with his comments. Dupree and George left as George gave his ultimatum that if he brought shame to him he would have to find someone else to help him. Martel was upset and couldn’t understand why that guy was bossing around Buddy. Rose said that he had learned so much and that he was ready to put Snuka in his place. Martel said that was great but that he would do it without her. Rose tried to stop her but she said that she couldn’t keep being something that she wasn’t, she advised him to do the same.
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. Brutus Beefcake
Rose wrestled an inspired match and reversed Beefcake’s attempt at a Clothesline and hit a Bodyslam of his own and then went to the top rope and nailed his finisher the Bombs Away. After the match, Justin Credible and Steve Corino attacked Beefcake. Rose stopped and looked at the situation and slowly walked away. Chris Candido came out to join his stable mates and he was ready for answers. Winner: Rose by pinfall @ 12:52
-In Ring- Chris Candido started screaming at Beefcake while he was being held. He demanded to know where Tammy was. Beefcake was playing dumb and refused to answer. Candido just nodded as Credible lashed Beefcake across the back with his Cane. After two more lashes, Gene Okerlund made his way to the ring with a note for Candido. Candido snatched the note from him and quickly sprinted away as Okerlund followed him. Corino and Credible left Beefcake in the ring and tried to follow Candido but Chris simply said that he would handle this alone. Candido went around a few twists and turns in the backstage and came to a door. He entered the room and saw a second door that he opened and walked in. Tammy Sytch was sitting in a chair with tape over her mouth. She said, “Don’t come in.” Just as she said it the second door slammed and locked. Buff Bagwell emerged laughing as he locked both doors and left laughing even harder.
-1 Fall -15 Minute Time Limit- “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs. Greg “The Hammer” Valentine
Valentine was on the attack early but Snuka changed things with his vicious chops. He used a headbutt and the Superfly Death Leap to put away the Hammer for the win. Winner: Snuka by pinfall @ 7:36
-Interview- (Gordon Solie was his desk with Ted DiBiase, Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, King Kong Bundy and Virgil surrounding him.) Solie: Well, Mr. DiBiase it seems that judgement day is soon upon you and your men as you enter the War Games. TD: Solie, I can’t wait until the cage door locks and we get a chance to extract what we want from Heenan’s men. My only problem is that Heenan himself won’t be in the ring so I could get a few shots in on that weasel. Solie: This rivalry has been built up over many months and we can only hope that the differences will be settled. TD: It will all be over and mark my words someone will get hurt. Heenan, you should have listened to be and been a smart man and let me have my way. They will all find out that everyone has a price, for the Million Dollar Man!
-Contract Signing- (In ring- Gordon Solie is seated at a table with MW Jergs and a few legal papers as Bruiser Brody and Cowboy Bob Orton are ready to sign their LWF World Heavyweight Title match for LWF: A Night of Legends. Orton signs first as Brody stares at him. Next, it’s the champ’s turn but, he just picks up the paper instead. Brody says that he couldn’t believe that Orton had the stupidity to try and stop him from taking out another challenger. He’s tired of hearing how Orton’s undefeated, because so is he. He wants more out of this match, there is already going to be a big cage outside the ring, why don’t we use it. Jergs takes the mic and says that he is in control and he will decide. Orton interrupts and says “Yes!” as the fans cheer wildly. Jergs reconsiders and says that if they both want it he won’t stop it. A stare down happens as the camera faded.
-LWF United States Title Match- 1 Fall- 30 Minute Time Limit- Bobo Brazil (c.) vs. Chris Candido
Brazil waited in the ring for his opponent but he did not show. Ref, Tommy Young then made the ten count and declared Brazil the winner by forfeit. Brazil then called out Johnny Valentine and said that his day was now open so he had time to kick him around the ring. Valentine hit the ring and a brawl ensued. Both men pounded each other until LWF officials came out to break up the fight. Winner: Brazil by forfeit
-In Ring- The program was about to close out and Gordon Solie was ready to read the card. Chris Candido ran out to the ring and demanded that everyone listen to him. I am tired to dealing with this kind of sophomoric stupidity. Buff Bagwell at the Legends pay per view, it’s you and me and I want it Loser Leaves Town rules. I want to send you packing out of this area. I want titles. I get a title shot and you screw me out of it. You commit criminal acts and abduct my girl. I should have you brought up on charges. But I rather take great pleasure and pound your face in and then send you out of the LWF! If you have any spine at all you will accept this stipulation. Candido then slams the mic down and leaves.

LWF Presents: Special Event : A NIGHT OF LEGENDS April 16, 2000 Orlando, FL Florida Arena Announcers: Gordon Solie and Bill Apter Interviewer: “Mean” Gene Okerlund Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
-DARK MATCH – 1 Fall – 10 Minute Time Limit- Konnan vs. S.D. Jones
The Mexican star had little trouble with the Philly native. K-Dogg nailed the 187 to get the victory. Winner: Konnan by pinfall @ 4:10
VTR (Video montage of tonight’s lineup.) Gordon Solie: Good evening and welcome to the second LWF Pay Per View event: A Night of Legends. We have a tremendous night of action scheduled and as you can see the double ring is set up and that can only mean that one of the most dangerous matches ever devised on pro wrestling will take place tonight- War Games. We have so much to get to this evening, as always, Gene Okerlund will be backstage for you giving us all the up to date information that we need. But, I see our first match is set to get underway. So, let’s go to the ring!
-1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- The Destroyer (w/Capt. Lou Albano) vs. The Crusher
This match started slowly and soon degenerated into a brawl as Lisowski took the match to the outside. Albano tried to interfere but it backfired and he tripped up his own man instead. This gave Crusher the opening he needed and he used his Bolo punch to stun his rival for the win. After the match, The Destroyer was quite upset and argued with the Captain on the way to the locker room. Winner: Crusher by pinfall @ 10:42
-1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- “Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka
Rose was not accompanied by Sherri Martel to the ring and Rose appeared to show unusual focus for this match. The Playboy was able to beat Snuka to the punch several times and used a foreign object to fell the Fijian star and score the upset win. Winner: Rose by pinfall @ 8:22
-1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- Greg “The Hammer” Valentine vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
Valentine made short work of the patriotic Duggan. Duggan charged into the turnbuckle knee first. This set up the Hammer’s Figure Four Leglock perfectly for the win. Winner: Valentine by submission @ 5:52
-1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers (w/Sherri Martel) vs. Gorgeous George (w/Cheri Dupree)
Rogers surprised the fans in attendance as he walked out with his new manager, Sherri Martel. She took the mic and said that she hated being told what to do, looking at Dupree and George, and that she had no trouble standing up for herself. The match was a tremendous display of wrestling skill with many near falls. Martel spent most of the time chasing Dupree around the ring. Late in the contest, Buddy Rose came out to the ring to talk to Martel. She would have none of it and pushed him away. Meanwhile in the ring, Rogers and George butted heads and both went down. Now Dupree was over trying to get Rose’s attention to get in the ring and help the Human Orchid. Rose hesitated and Dupree slapped him. Rose felt his cheek and quickly grabbed Dupree, put here over his knee and began spanking her! The fans went wild and George was shocked to see what was transpiring as he came to. This gave Rogers a chance to chop block him and lock in the Figure Four Grapevine for the tap out win. Winner: Rogers by submission @ 17:23
-Backstage- (Gene Okerlund spoke to a highly irate Gorgeous George.) George was almost speaking too fast to be heard. He couldn’t believe how a bloated miscreant such as Buddy Rose could ever lay his hands on a lady such as Ms. Dupree. All that he had done for him and Rose had made no progress at all. He told everyone to mark his words that this indignity will not stand
-First Blood Match- No Time Limit- Ox Baker vs. The Sandman
Both men were ready to fight and threw each other all over the arena. They fought in and out of the ring and even in the parking lot. The end came when the Sandman had a metal pipe in his hand and was ready to nail the big Ox with it. He waited a bit too long and was hit with a low blow. Baker grabbed the plunder and nailed Sandman with it opening a gash on his forehead giving him the win. The Sandman didn’t stop though as he made his comeback he continued to pound away on Ox, who was just trying to get away. He nailed Ox with a chair that opened him up as well and then put him through a ringside table with a Flying Legdrop off the turnbuckles. Winner: Baker @ 19:32
-LWF World Tag Team Title Match- 1 Fall – 60 Minute Time Limit- The Road Warriors (c.) vs. Steve Corino & Justin Credible (w Tammy Sytch)
Animal and Hawk were all over the challengers. The Warriors used frequent tags and double team moves to put the hurt on Corino in particular. After a kickout, Hawk threw Corino to the floor and after ignoring the ref landed a Clothesline on the concrete. Animal then followed that up with a Powerslam on the floor as well. The ref had seen enough and disqualified the champs as things got out of hand. The Warriors continued to lay waste to their opponents until through the crowd came three familiar faces. The Midnight Express and Jim Cornette sneak attacked the champions. Lane hit Animal with white powder in the eyes and Eaton nailed Hawk with a chair. The Express took turns hitting double team moves until the champs were on their back as Cornette addressed the crowd. “We weren’t gone long but I couldn’t sleep knowing that these two buffoons were the World tag team champions and look at them now. The Midnight Express will the be the rightful champions when all is said and done, you can bank on that!” Winners: Corino & Credible by Disqualification @ 7:23
-LWF United States Title Match – 2 out 3 Falls – 60 Minute Time Limit- Bobo Brazil (c.) vs. Johnny Valentine
Fall #1 – Brazil was able to rebound from a sneak attack before the ring introductions were completed. Brazil had the momentum and hit a Power Body slam to stun Valentine and gain the first fall. Winner: Brazil by pinfall @ 10:32
Fall #2 – Valentine started to get desperate and used dirty tactics to gain the advantage. Even his son, Greg tried to intervene but he was caugh by ref, Tommy Young and was taken by LWF officials back to the dressing room. Brazil was hit low several times and he had had enough. He landed four consecutive Coco Butts to gain the victory and retain the title in two straight falls. Winner: Brazil by pinfall @ 22:32 (Brazil retains in 2 falls to 0)
-Loser Leaves Town – 1 Fall – No Time Limit- Buff Bagwell vs. Chris Candido (w/ Tammy Sytch)
The first order of business was to ban Tammy Sytch from ringside. Amid the protest of Candido she would be forced to watch from the back. The announcement was made that there would be no interference of any kind in this match due to the stipulations. Candido attacked before the bell with great intensity. He landed a diving headbutt but only got a two count. He tried another but Bagwell rolled away. Buff took control and had a few near falls of his own and the tide went back and forth. Suddenly a collison and both men and the official were down. Candido was able to stagger up first and brought a chair in the ring. He waited too long and Bagwell hit a perfect dropkick that sent the chair into his forehead. Buff made the cover and got the three count. Candido threw a fit, once he came to as the crowd mocked him as he left. Winner: Bagwell by pinfall @ 23:42 -LWF World Title Match- Cage Match – 1 Fall – No Time Limit- Bruiser Brody (c.) vs. “Cowboy” Bob Orton
Orton and Brody engaged in a staredown before the match started. Orton was not going to back down and blocked Brody’s first punch and took the match to him. Orton used his Superplex to get a near fall and then rammed the champion’s head into the mesh to open up a cut. Solie had never seen Brody in trouble like this before. Orton went for a Second rope splash but Brody lifted his knees. He then tossed Orton into the cage. Orton regained control and sent Brody on a whip but Brody reversed things and hit a big boot. He quickly bounced off the ropes and hit the Jumping Knee drop to retain his title. Brody staggered out the door bloody, knowing he had been in a fight. Winner: Brody by pinfall @ 27:21
-War Games: The Match Beyond- Submit or Surrender- Ted DiBiase, Iron Sheik, King Kong Bundy, & Nikolai Volkoff vs. Rick Rude, Nick Bockwinkel, Harley Race, & Masked Superstar
The rules were reviewed and the fans were reminded that the Million Dollar Corporation had won the advantage for this match. The Iron Sheik and Nick Bockwinkel were the first two out in the war games. Neither man got a clear advantage until Bockwinkel slammed Sheik’s head into the cage fence. The buzzer sounded and the next man in was, Nikolai Volkoff. He quickly aided his partner and double teamed Tricky Nick. The advantage was short lived as the buzzer sounded again and the Masked Superstar made his way to the ring. Superstar was able to use his agility to stay away from Volkoff and used his power to deliver a catapult into the cage that opened up the big Russian. The buzzer sounded again, this time signaling, Ted DiBiase to the ring. DiBiase immediately tried to help Volkoff and attacked Superstar from behind and hit a Hot Shot onto the ropes between the two rings. The bell sounded again and Harley Race made things even strength. Race and Sheik brawled back and forth until he hit his Piledriver three times. The buzzer sounded again as the largest member, King Kong Bundy was in. Bundy powerslammed Bockwinkel into the cage several times and hit an Avalanche in the corner. Finally the last member, Rick Rude was in the ring and the match beyond was complete. All eight men battled viciously. Volkoff went for a clothesline and the Superstar ducked and caught him in the Cobra hold. He held on and wrapped his legs around him and wouldn’t let go. Volkoff finally slumped down and the match was over. Heenan’s family emerged victorious as EMT’s tended to Volkoff. DiBiase was beside himself as Virgil led him to the locker room. Winners: Heenan Family by submission @ 48:21

LWF Superstars April 21, 2000 Atlanta, GA The Omni Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Still photos of LWF: Night of Legends while Gordon Solie provides narration.)
Gordon Solie: Welcome to Superstars ladies and gentlemen. We are coming off yet another excellent pay per view that we will be recapping for you during the evening. But, first I must bring out the current head of the LWF, Mr. MW Jergs with a very special announcement. (MW Jergs arrives, shakes hands with Solie and is holding a title belt.) MWJ: Thank you Gordon and I would like to tell the fans of our next great endeavor in the LWF. Over the next few weeks we will crown our very first LWF Television champion. The tournament pairings are already set and we will see two of those matches here tonight, as well as the whole tournament here on TV. We are very excited about this and we hope that this will continue to bring the fans the best in wrestling action. GS: No doubt it should be an exciting time over the coming weeks and we look forward to the conclusion. We have the first television tournament match ready in the ring!
-LWF Television Title Tournament- 1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Greg “The Hammer” Valentine vs. Antonino Rocca
Valentine goes toe to toe with the returning Rocca. The match almost goes the time limit and is a back and forth contest until Valentine locks in the Figure Four Leglock and forces the Argentine star to tap out. Winner: Valentine by submission @ 13:25 -In Ring- Playboy Buddy Rose is in the ring and has a mic. He calls out Sherri Martel to come to the ring. She makes her way to the ring and Rose says that she was right. Everything that she told him was right and he realizes it now. He wants to know if she still would be in his corner. Martel thinks about it and says that she is glad that Rose finally came around, but it was a little too late. I have a man that I know if he listens to me, he will rule of the LWF, he’s a real man, and a Nature Boy. At this, Buddy Rogers joins them in the ring. Rogers puts his arm around Sherri and says, to a nicer guy it couldn’t happen. He laughs as he looks at Rose and tells Martel that she really traded up. They leave as Rose is dumbfounded in the ring.
-1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka
Snuka hit the ring and attacked the dejected Rose. This wasn’t much of a match as Snuka hit a Powerslam to put away the Playboy. Winner: Snuka by pinfall @ 3:24
-LWF Television Title Tournament – 1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Steve Corino vs. Buff Bagwell
Before the match started, Corino had the microphone. He declared that he would win this match for Chris Candido and shut up Bagwell for good. Corino was in command until he missed a Superkick attempt and Bagwell hit the Buff Blockbuster. Corino alertly put his foot on the ropes to break the count. Bagwell was then flipped over the ropes and Corino dipped into his tights and pulled out a small chain. He slugged Buff in the face and kept pounding away. The ref saw this and called for the bell but it didn’t stop Corino’s attack. Brutus Beefcake hit the ring to stop the King of Old school but the damage was done. Winner: Bagwell by Disqualification @ 11:35
-LWF World Tag Team Title Match – 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- The Road Warriors (c.) vs. Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel (w/ Bobby Heenan)
The Warriors were ready to give the former champs their re-match and after it was over they may not have wanted it. Not much offense from the former titleholders and Hawk finished off Race with the Doomsday Device. After the match, Hawk grabbed the mic and said that he was looking for Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express and that if he wouldn’t bring his team out to meet them, he and Animal would go find them. The Warriors left the ring and ran into the back as the cameras faded out. Winners: The Road Warriors by pinfall @ 7:32

LWF Superstars April 28, 2000 Greensboro, NC Greensboro Coliseum Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (The Road Warriors successfully defend their titles and then go looking for the Midnight Express. The cameras went off but they found them and chased then into the ring. A brawl erupts between the two teams and the Warriors drove the Express back.)
Gordon Solie: Good day ladies and gentlemen and welcome to LWF Superstars. We will continue with first round action of the LWF Television Tournament. We will also hear from the LWF World Heavyweight champion, Bruiser Brody as he will be in Bill Apter’s HOT SEAT. And in today’s Main Event the United States champion, Bobo Brazil will defend against Buddy Rogers. We have a lot to get to so let’s go to the ring!
-LWF World Title Tournament – 1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- The Iron Sheik (w/Ted DiBiase) vs. Ox Baker (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
Baker used his superior strength to take the early advantage. The Sheik used superior wrestling skill to put the larger wrestler on his back and locked in the Boston Crab and wrenched back. Baker had no choice but to tap out as the Persian mat man moved on. Winner: Iron Sheik by pinfall @ 9:33
Interview (The Iron Sheik and Ted DiBiase made their way to Gordon Solie’s podium.) GS: Well, gentlemen an impressive win for the Iron Sheik and he would appear to be a favorite. TD: No question. The Iron Sheik is in the Million Dollar Corporation because he can get the job done and he will not fail his CEO. GS: I know that your group has run into some issues as you and your group went through the brutal encounter that is the War Games and I would like to ask about the condition of Nikolai Volkoff. TD: Who? GS: Nikolai Volkoff, he was this man’s partner and a man in your employ and last we saw of him he was being tended to by EMT’s. How is he doing? TD: To be quite honest I have no idea and I could care less. We do not accept failure.
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- The Midnight Express (w/Jim Cornette) vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan & Antonino Rocca
The Express looked very good with many double team moves and crisp tags. Bobby Eaton landed an impressive Flying Elbow Drop from the top rope on top of Rocca for the three count. After the match, Jim Cornette called out the Road Warriors and said how his men would be happy to destroy the myth of the Legion of Doom forever. Winners: Midnight Express by pinfall @ 10:24
The HOT SEAT w/ Bill Apter Bill Apter: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Hot Seat and with me this week is one of the toughest wrestlers in the world, the current world champion, Bruiser Brody. (Brody walks out, his title slung over his shoulder.) BA: Well, thank you for being here and you are still the world champion but you must agree that Cowboy Bob Orton gave you quite a run for the money. BB: All that matters is that I have this. This pays me a lot of money and I will not allow anyone to take it from me. BA: Yes, certainly but wouldn’t you agree that Orton was your toughest test so far and will he get a rematch. BB: No I would not. I don’t really care who I face. I take on all comers. People have asked whose side I’m on and I say mine. BA: Well, I would hope that Bob Orton will get another shot maybe in a more conventional encounter. BB: What is your problem Apter? Why are you asking me about Bob Orton? He’s where all the other challengers are, in a heap. If I hear one more question about Bob Orton, I punch you in the mouth and this interview will be over. (Apter cowers back a bit as Brody tries to intimidate him. The fans get excited, as The Crusher is out to defend the journalist.) Crusher: Hold on a second. You think your tough, well I know something about being tough too. I haven’t lost any matches yet and I’d love to get in a fight with you for that title. BB: Who asked you to come out here? Go have another beer and get out of here. (Crusher turns his head to help Apter and Brody cracks him with a right hand and walks away. Crusher holds his chin and gets up shaking his head.)
-LWF Television Title Tournament – 1 Fall –15 Minute Time Limit- Nick Bockwinkel (w/ Bobby Heenan) vs. “Playboy” Buddy Rose
Rose still looked a bit lost and confused out there. He missed several moves and that was all Bockwinkel needed. He locked in the Figure Four Leglock and Rose tapped out. The action wasn’t over as Rose lay there in the ring, Gorgeous George and his valet, Cheri Dupree attack the Playboy. George has a chair and begins hammering Rose’s right leg. He then applies the Spinning Toe Hold as Rose howls in pain. LWF officials break things up but the damage is done. Winner: Bockwinkel by submission @ 5:21
-United States Title Match – 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- Bobo Brazil (c.) vs. ‘Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers (w/Sherri Martel)
Rogers’s new manager had a great impact on this match. Brazil hit a Coco Butt and was ready to go for the pin but Martel jumped on the apron and successfully distracted the official. This brought Brazil up and allowed Rogers to clip his right knee. Rogers then applies his Figure Four Grapevine and Brazil could not escape. Martel was ecstatic as she embraced the new champion. Winner: (New Champion) Rogers by submission @ 18:45

Excellent card mwjergs!
Buddy Rogers is also my United States (and my MLW) Champion!
I really like the Iron Sheik in the MDC.
Also, the Hot Seat was very well done! Brody versus the Crusher should be an awesome match.

Thanks. I'm having a lot of fun with Legends. I thought about going in order but I'd be way too behind too. There are too many great wrestlers that I want to bring in (The Sheik, Sabu, Muraco, Hennig) but I have to be patient. I just bring them in when I can. I try to introduce one or two new wrestlers after a PPV and I have to remember to trim the roster as well and try to keep everyone involved.
