LWF Presents: Special Event : LWF World Heavyweight Title Tournament January 1, 2000 St. Louis, MO The Kiel Center Announcers: Gordon Solie and Buddy Colt Interviewer: “Mean” Gene Okerlund Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR Opening
Solie: Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to a very special event for the start of what should be the greatest wrestling promotion that North America has ever seen. We have without question the top stars ever to appear in the squared circle right here. Which makes it all the more appropriate that we are the Legends Wrestling Federation. I am your host and voice of the LWF, Gordon Solie and with me is my very good friend the great Buddy Colt.
Colt: Hello fans and hello Gordon. I can’t tell you how exciting it is to be a part of a historic event. The best wrestling stars in the best wrestling group ever, the LWF.
Solie: Indeed. Tonight is a very special event that is taped for LWF home video. We will crown our first World heavyweight champion in a sixteen man two day invitational tournament. We will have all the action right here in the historic Kiel Center in beautiful St. Louis, Missouri. But before we get to the pairings and the action. Let me throw it out to our eyes and ears backstage, Gene Okerlund.
Backstage
Okerlund: Thank you so very much Gordon. I must agree with my colleagues that we are a part of history. I will be a special part as I will be right here in the locker room giving you all of the sounds of the stars of the LWF. I’ll be here all evening and into tomorrow. Back to you,Gordon.
First Round -15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Nick Bockwinkel (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
The patriotic Duggan had the crowd into it from the start. Bockwinkel was able to overcome Duggan’s hot start and use his wrestling skill. Bockwinkel trapped Duggan in a Sleeperhold and held on until Duggan’s hand dropped a third time. Winner: Nockwinkel by submission @ 4:35
Solie: An impressive display of wrestling skill and technique by Mr. Bockwinkel. He has to be one of the favorites in this tournament. Colt: No question about it. He’s not “Tricky Nick” for nothing.
-15 Minute Time Limit- Bobo Brazil vs. King Kong Bundy
The massive Bundy squares off against the massively popular Brazil. This was a close match with Bundy setting up for his Atlantic City Avalanche. Brazil was able to alertly move to the side and delivered two thunderous Coco Butts to stun the big man enough for the pinfall. Winner: Brazil by pinfall @ 13:55
Solie: Bobo Brazil looked to be outgunned in this one but used suprior smarts and know how to get the better of Bundy.
-15 Minute Time Limit- Mil Mascaras vs. Frank Gotch
This was highly anticipated as a scientific clinic. Gotch tried to keep things grounded and his strategy worked for a brief time. Mascaras was able to ascend to the top rope and hit a Flying Body Press to advance in the tournament. Winner: Mascaras by pinfall @ 8:30
Colt: Listen to that crowd, Gordon. It’s hard not to like the “Man of a Thousand Masks.”
-15 Minute Time Limit- Harley Race vs. “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
A highly anticipated match between these two legends. A few minutes into the contest, Bobby Heenan made his way out to the ring and appeared to be scouting the match. Solie mentioned that he may be scouting the competition for the later rounds. A great match with many near falls. Race was able to hit a Neckbreaker into his Piledriver finish and got him in the three count in a thrilling match. After the fall, Heenan smiled and nodded his head as he left for the back. Winner: Race by pinfall @ 14:05
Solie: I guess Bobby Heenan saw all he needed to as he prepares for the later rounds. Colt: Maybe so, but I don’t trust Heenan. Maybe there was more to that than meets the eye. Solie: He seemed to give a nod to Harley Race and we will have to keep an eye on that situation if one develops. Let’s go to Gene Okerlund.
Backstage
Okerlund: The first round continues to move forward and the action heats up. Right now I have with me a true legend and the first wrestler to use his skills to distract opponents. I’m talking about Gorgeous George.
(George is wearing a purple frilled outfit as his valet Cheri Dupree quickly combs his hair.) Okerlund: Gorgeous One you have dreams of becoming the LWF Heavyweight champion but first you must go through the Japanese legend in his own right, Antonio Inoki. George: Oh gracious me. I only have one thing to worry about and that’s making sure that Ms. Cheri has yours truly looking fabulous. I am not concerned with this Inoki. Okerlund: Supreme confidence from the one and only Gorgeous George. George: I am the best in every way and I intend to show these trailer trash in the vieing audience what a true gentleman can do. Okerlund: All right gentlemen, back to you.
-15 Minute Time Limit- Gorgeous George (w/Cheri Dupree) vs. Antonio Inoki
Inoki was like a buzzsaw. He was unconcerned with George’s antics and was all business. Even a last ditch attempt from Ms. Dupree to distract Inoki fell flat. Inoki used an Enzugiri to get the three count. Winner: Inoki by pinfall @ 3.10
Solie: Antonio Inoki is a supreme wrestler and he would not allow the theatrics of George affect him. Colt: Inoki looked really impressive Gordon.
-15 Minute Time Limit- Masked Superstar vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka
Superstar attacked Snuka before the bell and continued his onslaught. Snuka had trouble recovering and missed a chop off the ropes. Superstar leveled him with a Lariat and then slapped on a Spinning Neckbreaker for the victory. Winner: Masked Superstar by pinfall @ 4:05
Colt: I was a bit surprised that Superstar got the win so easily. Solie: Very impressive against a top notch wrestler in Snuka. I feel that the Superstar is a dark horse in this tournament.
-15 Minute Time Limit- Brusier Brody vs. The Destroyer (w/ Capt. Lou Albano)
Not much wrestling in this match as Brody turned things into a brawl and Destroyer was willing to oblige. Late in the match, Albano tried to swing things towards his protégé and tried to toss white powder into Brody’s eyes. Brody ducked and Destroyer caught the brunt of the substance. Brody then whipped his opponent off the ropes and hit a Big Boot to get the win. Winner: Brody by pinfall @ 7:40
Solie: Lou Albano’s plotting has cost he and his man a chance to advance. Colt: No doubt. But when you face Brusier Brody, you better have a machine gun and not just some white powder.
-15 Minute Time Limit- “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase (w/ Virgil) vs. “Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt
A very competitive match between these two. DiBiase outwrestled his foe and had things under control until the match spilled outside the ring. Hackenschmidt used his great strength to toss DiBiase into the cornerpost and the threw him in the ring. He clamped on a Bearhug and had DiBiase gasping for air. The Lion released the hold and went for a whip on the ropes. DiBiase grabbed the ropes and turned towards Virgil and began walking down the aisle. He continued walking all the way to the locker room. Hackenschmidt was surprised as the ref counted ten and awarded him the match. Winner: Hackenschmidt by Countout @ 11:20
Solie: What an unusual development as Ted DiBiase just leaves the ring. Let’s see if Gene Okerlund can get us some more information.
Backstage
(Okerlund is running after DiBiase and Virgil as they head to their limo.)
Okerlund: DibIase! Ted DiBiase! DiBiase: What do you want Okerlund. I’m in a hurry. Okerlund: Well, why on earth would you leave the ring and give up a chance at the World Title? DiBiase: If there is one thing that I can’t stand is incompetence. That official in there let so many things go in that match that I was in danger of serious injury. I had the match won. So I refuse to get myself hurt due to someone else’s stupidity. As for the World title I will have it soon enough, my talent can not be contained. Now if you will excuse me I have a plane to catch. (Virgil shoves Okerlund to the side as DiBiase gets into the limo and Virgil gets up front.) Okerlund: There you have it. DiBiase cries foul and didn’t want to get hurt. Sounds odd to me.
Solie: I have know Ted DiBiase for many years and have always known him to be a competitor. But it seems that this money has really gotten to the heart of who DiBiase is. Colt: We have seen a lot today Gordon and I never thought I would see Ted DiBiase just leave the ring tonight. Solie: Indeed. That completes our coverage for this evening. Make sure to join us tomorrow night here in St. Louis to see the conclusion and who will be crowned the LWF World Heavyweight champion

LWF Presents: Special Event : LWF World Heavyweight Title Tournament January 2, 2000 St. Louis, MO The Kiel Center Announcers: Gordon Solie and Buddy Colt Interviewer: “Mean” Gene Okerlund Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR Opening (Footage of last night’s opening round action.)
Solie: Good evening and welcome to day two of the historic tournament to crown the LWF Heavyweight champion. We had a very exciting first night of action and with me here is Buddy Colt. Buddy, who do you see as being the odds on favorite to win this first championship. Colt: So many great wrestlers are in this tournament Gordon. It’s very hard to call. If I had to pick one guy I’d have to say Nick Bockwinkel. Not only is he skilled but also he has Bobby Heenan in his corner. Solie: Fair enough, we shall see. Let’s go to the ring.
-Second Round- -30 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Bobo Brazil vs. Nick Bockwnkel (w/Bobby Heenan)
Brazil was able to thwart many of “Tricky Nick’s” foul tactics. He used his power and his hard head to put Bockwinkel in trouble, Heenan sensed this and was able to slip his man a pair of brass knuckles. Brazil grabbed Bockwinkel and was blasted with a knuckle shot to the face. However the ref was able to see the infraction and called for the disqualification giving the match to Brazil. Winner: Brazil by Disqualification @ 8:35
Solie: I can’t understand why a wrestler as talented as Nick Bockwinkel would resort to such underhanded tactics. Colt: Well, justice is served as the referee caught not only him but his manager as well.
-30 Minute Time Limit- Mil Mascaras vs. Harley Race
The wily veterans put on quite a wrestling display. Race hit a Falling Head butt from the second rope and got a two count. He then set up for the Indian Death lock but Mascaras was able to block it and reversed it into one of his own! Mascaras had it applied in the center of the ring and Race had no choice but to submit. Just then, Nick Bockwinkel and Bobby Heenan came running out to ringside. Bockwinkel attacked Mascaras from behind and both he and Race began to double team the Mexican star. Bockwinkel mounted the second rope and grabbed Mil’s legs as Race dropped him on his head with a Spike Piledriver. They went to apply another but Bobo Brazil came down to ringside to stop the attack. LWF officials came out to assist Mascaras to the back and check on his condition. Race and Bockwinkel shook hands as well as they left the ring. Winner: Mascaras by Submission @ 7:30
Solie: What a disgusting display as Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race appear to be on the same side. Colt: I knew that Bobby Heenan was up to something. It now appears that he has another man in his family stable. Solie: We will keep an eye on the condition of Mil Mascaras and if it will affect his standing in this tournament. He took a serious blow to the back of the neck and he had trouble getting to the back.
-30 Minute Time Limit- Antonio Inoki vs. Masked Superstar
Both men went toe to toe for the first few minutes with neither man gaining an advantage. Inoki ducked a Flying Bodypress by Superstar and then went to work keeping the match on the ground. Inoki then used an Enzugiri to stun his opponent enough to get the win and advance. Winner: Inoki by pinfall @ 9: 55
Solie: Quite a contest between these two game competitors. I feel that many have overlooked the Japanese legend and he could be the man to claim the heavyweight title.
-30 Minute Time Limit- Bruiser Brody vs. “Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt
Any match where Brody is involved and you can expect a brawl. The Lion tried his best to keep the match focused on wrestling and used his strength and knowledge to get a few two counts. Brody turned things violent after a smash with a chair outside the ring. Once inside Brody hit a Big Boot to the face and then a Jumping Knee Drop to gain the victory. Winner: Brody by pinfall @ 15:25
Colt: Bruiser Brody is just an animal, Gordon. He looks unstoppable at times in the ring. Solie: No question about that. Bruiser Brody is one tough customer. We have just received word from the locker room and we will go to Gene Okerlund. Gene Backstage (Gene Okerlund stands with Bob Brazil to his one side.)
Okerlund: Gentlemen I have an important announcement regarding Mil Mascaras. Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel attacked him earlier today and he has a slight stinger to his neck. He will not be able to compete and as a result, the man next to me will advance to the finals, Bobo Brazil.
Brazil: Yes, Gene. Mil Mascaras is a good friend of mine and he is a class individual. It was sickening to see two men like Race and Bockwinkel attack such and honorable man. If I am lucky enough to win the title here tonight, Mil will be the first man to get a title shot. Also I will be happy to help Mil in any way to extract some revenge on those two.
Okerlund: You heard it here fans. Bobo Brazil in the finals tonight and he is looking for gold as well as Race and Bockwinkel. -Semi – Finals- -30 Minute Time Limit- Bruiser Brody vs. Antonio Inoki
A classic battle of Brody’s brawling and Inoki’s scientific style. Neither had an advantage until Inoki missed a dropkick and Brody quickly jumped off the ropes and hit his Jumping Knee drop to gain entry to the finals. Winner: Brody by pinfall @ 11:45
Solie: Well, the finals are set as it will be Brusier Brody against Bobo Brazil and the winner gets all the gold, the LWF World Heavyweight title. Colt: That’s right. It was so difficult to try and choose just who would get to the finals and now we know. I can’t wait to see who wins this one.
-Finals- -60 Minute Time Limit- Bruiser Brody vs. Bobo Brazil
Brody charged the ring and looked fresh even though this would be his third match in a row. Brazil was too smart to get caught up in a brawl and used science to keep Brody down. Later in the match, Bobo hit three Coco Butts and only got a two count. Brazil then went off the ropes and Brody side stepped him on threw him into the guard rail. Brazil was dazed and was pummeled on the outside by Brody. Once back in Brody hit a Boot and then a Jumping Piledriver. Brazil could not answer and Brody was declared the new champion of the world. Winner: (New LWF World Heavyweight Champion – Bruiser Brody by pinfall @ 18:20)

LWF Superstars January 7, 2000 Boston, MA Boston Garden Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR Opening (Highlights of LWF World Heavyweight Title Tournament)
Solie: Good evening, Ladies and gentlemen and welcome to LWF Superstars our weekly program to showcase the stars of the LWF. As you saw in that video taped segment, we have crowned our first LWF World Heavyweight champion and I will bring him out in a few moments. But we do have quite a program here today; our Main Event is a special challenge match as Harley Race will face off against Bob Brazil and Mr. Brazil asked for this match as his friend Mil Mascaras was injured at the hands of Race and Nick Bockwinkel. He wants revenge and I feel that he will get it. Right now let me bring in the new heavyweight champion, Bruiser Brody.
(Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” blares over the P.A. system as he makes his way towards Gordon Solie.) Solie: Well, Mr. Brody I must say how impressive your performance was in that you wrestled three matches straight and came out the new champion. Brody: Huss! Huss! Solie I love two things, money and beating people up. Last Sunday I got to do the second one an awful lot. Now because I have this piece of tin, I get paid just a little more than all the rest of these punks and that makes me happy. Solie: No doubt you will become a marked man, as everyone will want what you have. Brody: Anyone who wants to try and take this from me would mean that it would cost me money and no one is going to cost me money. That I guarantee. Huss! Huss! Huss!
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- “Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. S. D. Jones
Jones surprised his opponent with a few hip tosses and punches to the gut. Rose was able to rebound quickly and hit a Bombs Away from the top turnbuckle to get the three count. Winner: Rose by pinfall @ 6:20
Solie: Quite a win by the “Playboy” Buddy Rose as he was able to get by Special Delivery Jones. Right now joining me is a man who has become quite wealthy through his out of the ring endeavors and I have some questions for him, Mr. Ted DiBiase along with his bodyguard, Virgil. (DiBiase is dressed a a suit with Virgil at his side.) Solie: Mr. DiBiase I must say that I was quite surprised that you left the ring in your tournament match against George Hackenschmidt. DiBiase: Well I’m not sure why your surprised but like I told Okerlund. The official left so much go in that match that I was afraid for my safety. I had that man beaten as I am the better wrestler and after he let Hackenschmidt throw me into the ringpost I had trouble seeing and I will not risk anything. I have a lot to live for Solie and I plan to get things right in the LWF. Solie: What do you mean by that comment? DiBiase: I’m a very wealthy man Gordon and as the old saying goes, “Everyone has a price.” -15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Ox Baker vs. “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
Baker attacked Rogers before the bell and used a variety of dirty tactics. Rogers was stunned by regained control. He ducked as Baker charged into the cornerpost. As Baker hit his back, Rogers stepped in and locked in the Figure Four Grapevine. Baker had no chance and chose to submit. Winner: Rogers by submission @ 9:22
Solie: Quite a tough win for the Nature Boy, as Ox Baker was no easy mark. Joining me now is Bobby Heenan and his men, Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel. Gentlemen you said that you had some things to address.
Heenan: That’s right Solie. First let me say this that I have two important pieces of the Heenan family in Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race and I am not finished adding to my elite group. Let me turn our attention to Bobo Brazil. It’s a shame that you have to stick your nose where it doesn’t belong. Mil Mascaras was in our way and he tried to get one over on us, well where is he now? In a bed somewhere in Mexico City, eating soft foods. So Brazil you are going to get the same if you feel that you’re just going to step in and take care of business. You’ll learn just like the rest.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & Antonio Rocca vs. Brutus Beefcake & Buff Bagwell
Snuka and Rocca worked quite well as a team and used frequent tags and high flying moves. Late in the contest, Beefcake tossed Rocca over the top rope and Bagwell slammed Rocca on the concrete. Ref, Tommy Young had seen enough and called for the bell. Snuka made his way over and a brawl erupted. Snuka used chops and head butts and drove Bagwell and Beefcake back and was able to help his partner to his feet. Winners: Snuka & Rocca by Disqualification @ 7:05 -Tv Main Event- -30 Minute Time Limit- Bobo Brazil vs. Harley Race (w/ Bobby Heenan )
Heenan distracted Brazil enough to have Race land a few cheap shots in on Brazil. Race hit a Pileriver and got a two count. Brazil was spurred on by the crowd and began his comeback. He used lefts and rights and then a Coco Butt to stun Race. Bobby Heenan then distracted ref, Bronco Lubich and Nick Bockwinkel came out to ringside and tossed a steel chair in the ring. Race picked it up and went to hit Brazil who blocked it and clocked Race instead. Race fell down hard and Brazil made the cover and hooked the leg for the pin. Bockwinkel then slid into the ring and he and Race double-teamed Brazil. They then went to set up the same Spike Piledriver that put out Mascaras. Jimmy Snuka, Antonio Rocca, and Hacksaw Duggan all hit the ring and drive off Heenan and his men. Winner: Brazil by pinfall @ 12:55

LWF World Tag Team Title Tournament January 9, 2000 Houston, TX Houston Civic Center Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
Solie: Good evening once again and welcome to the Legends Wrestling Federation. I am your host, Gordon Solie and we are ready to crown our next champions in an eight team elimination tournament. As many of you know, Bruiser Brody was crowned the World Heavyweight champion by virtue of his victory over Bobo Brazil. We have some exciting matches planned in the first round and by the end of the evening we will have our first tag team champions.
-First Round- -15 Minute Time Limit- The Road Warriors vs. Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon
Animal and Hawk used frequent tags and extreme violence to gain control of the match. Animal held Mad Dog on his shoulders as Hawk flew off the top rope with a Clothesline. Vachon flipped over twice and was easy prey for a pin. Winners: Road Warriors by pinfall @ 6:35
Solie: I think that many of you would agree that The Road Warriors would be many people’s odds on favorites to take the titles home. You would be sure to ask the Vachons and I’d think they’d agree. -15 Minute Time Limit- Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff
A back and forth matchup. Heenan’s constant distractions provided his team with a slight advantage but the foreign team had their moments too. Late in the match, Volkoff grabbed Race by the leg to the outside of the ring and slammed him into the ringpost. As ref, Bronco Lubich tried to get Volkoff back into the ring, Volkoff shoved the vet official and knocked him to the floor. He then quickly disqualified Nikolai and the Sheik and gave the match to Race and Bockwinkel. Winners: Race & Bockwinkel by disqualification @ 8:05
Solie: Volkoff let anger get the better of him and he and his partner paid for it. I’m sure that they thought they would make it to the final round.
-15 Minute Time Limit- Greg & Johnny Valentine vs. Giant Baba & Rikidozan
The Japanese team was on a roll early and didn’t let up. Baba caught Greg in a Back Suplex and hooked the leg to get the three count. Winners: Baba & Rikidozan by pinfall @ 11:25
Solie: Baba and Rikidozan worked very well this evening and could be a dark horse in the running for these titles -15 Minute Time Limit- The Midnight Express (w/ Jim Cornette) vs. Jimmy & Johnny Valiant (w/ Capt. Lou Albano)
An exciting contest between the two teams. Many near falls for both sides and distractions from both managers. Johnny whipped Bobby Eaton into the turnbuckle but was surprised as he vaulted up and hit a Flying Cross Bodyblock. He hooked the leg and grabbed the surprise pin to advance in the tournament. Winners: Midnight Express by pinfall @ 12:40
-Special Challenge- -15 Minute Time Limit- Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka vs. Brutus Beefcake
Beefcake attacked Snuka before the bell, and used a Flying Knee off the ropes. He was only able to get a two count. Snuka rebounded and hit a Head Butt off the ropes and then ascended to the top rope and came crashing down on Beefcake’s chest. The ref counted three as , Brother Bruti was the next victim of the Superfly Leap. Winner: Snuka by pinfall @ 6:30
-Semi-Finals- -30 Minute Time Limit- The Road Warriors vs. Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel (w/Bobby Heenan)
Race and Bockwinkel looked overmatched at times and had no answer for their opponents superior strength. However, Bobby Heenan continually frustrated the opponents and late in the contest tossed a pair of brass knuckles to Bockwinkel. They were scooped up by Road Warrior Hawk who put them to good use knocking out both Race and Bockwinkel. But, the official noticed the infraction and instead of allowing the pin gave the match to Race and Bockwinkel by disqualification. Winners: Race & Bockwinkel by disqualification @ 9:33
-30 Minute Time Limit- Rikidozan & Giant Baba vs. The Midnight Express (w/ Jim Cornette)
A great match. The Express looked like they almost had things locked up after Cornette smashed Baba with his tennis racket unbeknownst to the official. But, he made a quick tag to his partner who used Thunderous chops to stun Stan Lane enough and allow for a quick three count to propel them into the finals. Winners: Baba & Rikidozan by pinfall @ 13:20
-15 Minute Time Limit- The Sandman vs. Chris Candido (w/ Tammy Sytch)
Sandman did his traditional long entrance complete with beer in hand. Candido was not amused and the fists were flying. Sandman tossed Candido to the outside and landed a legdrop across the head. Sandman threw Candido back in and went for an Irish whip. Candido alertly reversed it and caught Sandman in a Power Slam and held on to the tights and got the surprise three. Winner: Candido by pinfall @ 7:10 -60 Minute Time Limit- Rikidozan & Giant Baba vs. Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel (w/Bobby Heenan)
This was a thrilling match that went down to the wire. Rikidozan whipped Race off the ropes and caught a Flying Hiplock. He could only get a two count. He tried again and this time Race blocked it and landed a stunning Piledriver. Race made the cover and new champions were crowned. Heenan was smiling from ear to ear as he lead his champions to the back as the crowd was upset. Winners: Race & Bockwinkel by pinfall @ 22:35 (New LWF Tag Team Champions

LWF Superstars January 14, 2000 Baltimore, MD Baltimore Arena Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR Opening (Highlights of LWF World Tag Team Tournament)
Solie: Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to LWF Superstars. I’m your host Gordon Solie and we have quite a program planned for the next hour. As you saw the new World tag team champions are Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel, both managed by Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and we will speak with them shortly. On the program today we will crown our third and final title as we will hold a twenty man over the top rope battle royal and the final survivor will hold the LWF United States Heavyweight Title. We have all of that plus, LWF World champion, Bruiser Brody will defend against Bobo Brazil in a return match from their contest in the tournament finals. But if I may please bring in Mr. Bobby Heenan and the new tag team champions, Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel for a few words.
(Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel enter in street clothes with a belt over each shoulder. A smiling Bobby Heenan enters the broadcast area.) Solie: Well gentlemen I must offer my congratulations on becoming the first tag team champions in the LWF. Heenan: I had absolutely no doubts that these two professionals would walk away with the gold. Every so called expert picked The Road Warriors or the Midnight Express to take these titles. But look who has them, Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel. Race: That’s right. The name on the marquee says wrestling and that’s what we do best and that is wrestle. We are smarter and simply better than anyone else out there, bar none. Bockwinkel: I must concur with my esteemed partner. Not only do we have the physical skills but we have combined wrestling knowledge that is unparalleled in this sport. We will hold these titles for a very long time. (Suddenly Virgil walks into camera view with a sealed envelope.) Virgil; Excuse me gentlemen but I have to deliver something to you. Heenan: I’ll take that pal. Virgil: I’m sorry it’s not for you. It’s for Mr. Bockwinkel and Mr. Race. Oh and gentlemen an answer is expected by the end of the hour. (Virgil quickly exits.) Heenan: What kind of nerve on this guy? I’m the Brain. (Bockwinkel opens the note and shows it to Race. Both seem interested and nod to each other.) Heenan: What is it guys? Race: Um. Nothing much Bobby. Nothing to be concerned about. Come on Nick, let’s go. Heenan: Hey, wait one second let me know what it says there. (Bockwinkel and Race leave the area with Heenan chasing after them.) Solie: It looks as if we may already have a situation developing here. We will have to keep an eye on this one -15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Gorgeous George (w/ Cheri Dupree) vs. Antonio Rocca
Rocca infuriated the Human Orchid with his foot slaps to George’s face. George was able to reverse a whip to the ropes and blocked a back body drop attempt into a stunning Piledriver. The move was enough to get the victory as George wiped his hands on his neckerchief. Winner: George by pinfall @ 4:25
Solie: A nice win for the Human Orchid as he took advantage of a key mistake by Mr. Rocca. With me now is a man that will be attempting to gain the LWF World Heavyweight title later in the program, Bobo Brazil. And Bobo, you not only have to be concerned with Bruiser Brody but also the Heenan family. Brazil: Mr. Solie, being a champion is what every athlete dreams about. I know that if given the opportunity I can become the World champion. And yes, I do realize that Bobby Heenan and his nasty men will be behind me but as I proved before I can take care of myself. And let me say one last thing, Mil Mascaras is almost ready to come back and Bobby Heenan when he does he’s looking for you.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Masked Superstar vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
Superstar grabbed the microphone and was happy to announce that he had just made a deal that would make him a lot of money. He wanted to introduce his new manager, Bobby Heenan. Heenan came out shook hands with his latest charge and went to his corner. The Superstar and his new manager with constant interference and dirty tactics frustrated Duggan. Duggan had enough and grabbed his trusty 2’ by 4’ and started swinging. He connected on the back of the Superstar and just missed clobbering Heenan. Ref, Tommy Young had no choice but to disqualify the American made Duggan. Winner: Superstar by disqualification @ 9:55
Solie: Bobby Heenan has struck again, he now adds the Masked Superstar to his already growing family. No doubt both men should benefit from this new alliance. Jim Duggan wasn’t going to be taken advantage of and he certainly showed it. Right now I’d like to bring in another man who is known as a tag team expert, Captain Lou Albano. Mr. Albano, you have asked for this television time, what’s on your mind? (Albano steps in with his team of Jimmy and Johnny Valiant.) Albano: That’s right baby, all this talk about the new tag team champions and nobody is talking about Lou Albano or the Valiants. That’s their mistake because after today everyone will understand that we should be first in line for those titles. Jimmy: No doubt daddy-o. My brother and me know more about tag team wrestling than anyone else and we’ll prove it today.
-15 Minute Time Limit- -1 Fall- Jimmy & Johnny Valiant (w/ Captain Lou Albano) vs. The Killer Bees
A fast paced match between both teams. Late in the match, all four men were in the ring, without the ref watching Albano tossed Brian Blair into the ringpost and allowed his partner to fall victim to the Valiant double team as Johnny Valiant hit a Top rope elbowsmash. The three count was all but assured. Winners: Jimmy & Johnny Valiant by pinfall @ 6:25 -20 Man Invitational Battle Royal- -Winner crowned United States Champion- Order of Elimination: 1) Buddy Rose by Ox Baker 2) The Destroyer by Buddy Rogers 3) Ted DiBiase by Antonio Rocca 4) King Kong Bundy by Antonio Rocca 5) Gorgeous George by Antonio Inoki 6) Killer Kowalski by Yukon Eric 7) Bob Orton by Johnny Valentine 8) Greg Valentine by Jimmy Snuka 9) Masked Superstar by Jim Duggan 10) The Sheik by Giant Baba 11) Dan Severn by Giant Baba 12) Ox Baker by Johnny Valentine 13) Antonio Inoki by Antonio Rocca 14) Yukon Eric by Giant Baba 15) Jimmy Snuka by Jim Duggan 16) Giant Baba by Buddy Rogers 17) Jim Duggan by Johnny Valentine 18) Antonio Rocca by Buddy Rogers 19) Buddy Rogers by Johnny Valentine Winner: Johnny Valentine (New United States Heavyweight Champion)
-LWF World Title Match – 1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- Bruiser Brody (c.) vs. Bobo Brazil
Brazil was on the offensive early and got a few near falls. Brody took the match to the outside and the tide began to turn. As Brody went back into the ring, the ref admonished him but was unable to see Masked Superstar come to ringside and hit a swinging neckbreaker on the concrete. He then rolled Brazil back in and he was given a devastating Piledriver to retain the belt. Winner: Brody by pinfall @ 14 :50 Solie: I can only hope that Bobo Brazil is okay. It shows that Bobby Heenan will go to any length to get what he wants and it appears that he wants Bobo Brazil out of wrestling. (Virgil comes to the desk.) Virgil: I’ve been instructed to get an answer from my employer. Solie: You mean from, “Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase. (Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel step out to the podium without Bobby Heenan.) Race: We’ve read the proposal and we were both very impressed. Virgil : (smiling) So are we ready to do business? Bockwinkel: Well, let’s just say that here’s our answer. (Race and Bockwinkel both hit Virgil with right hands and continue to kick and stomp him on the ground. Bobby Heenan comes into frame.) Heenan: You tell DiBiase that no one tries to submarine me. I’m the Brain. You tell that miserable punk that if he wants these belts he’s gonna have to get in line and try to beat two of the greatest wrestlers of all time. (Close up of a beat down Virgil as the camera fades.)

LWF Superstars January 21, 2000 Orlando, FL Orlando Civic Center Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR Opening (Highlights of Virgil’s message to Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel and the subsequent beat down that occurred afterwards.)
Solie: Good evening and welcome to another edition of LWF Superstars. Quite an interesting development from last week’s program that you just saw as apparently Ted DiBiase attempted to buy the contracts of the LWF World Tag Team champions, Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel. As we know they are both currently under the employ of Bobby Heenan, and after a few tense moments you saw the answer to Mr. DiBiase’s offer. We will have more on that situation as it develops. Also I must offer my congratulations to the new LWF United States Heavyweight champion, Johnny Valentine who bested nineteen other men to become the new champion here last week. We will speak with him as well. We have a double Main Event as both the Tag Team titles and the U.S. champion will defend here tonight. That and much more.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Ox Baker vs. “Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt
Baker attacked his opponent before the bell rang and Hackenschmidt never quite recovered. Ox hit two solid Neckbreakers and made the cover for a relatively easy win. Waiting outside of the ring for Baker was Captain Lou Albano who shook hands with the monster and began having a deep conversation. Winner: Baker by pinfall @ 3:35
Solie: It appears that managers in the LWF are slowly building their stables. Lou Albano is no exception. Is Ox Baker now a part of Albano’s group? Only time will tell. VTR – Backstage- (Solie provides narration as the video rolls from the back. A long stretch limo pulls up and Virgil jumps out of the front seat. He has a bandage by his face and appears worse for wear. He opens the door and Ted DiBiase exits the car with a smile on his face.) Solie: Ted DiBiase has just arrived. He looks a bit happier than I would have expected him to be. We will try and get a word in with him about last week’s offer and subsequent refusal.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall Antonino Rocca vs. Buff Bagwell
Rocca had the match under control. He used his trademark foot slaps and vicious chops to put Bagwell down. As Rocca looked to finish things off, Brutus Beefcake came out to ringside. As Rocca went to the top rope, Beefcake dumped him off and sent him sprawling to the mat. This gave Buff some time to ascend to the top as well and hit the Buff Blockbuster to grab the tainted win. After the match, Beefcake jumped in the ring and Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch quickly joined us. A three on one developed and Rocca was decimated. The final move saw Candido hit a Power Bomb from the top rope as Rocca smashed his head on the back of the mat. Beefcake, Bagwell, and Candido held three fingers high, then beat a hasty retreat as Jimmy Snuka, Hacksaw Duggan, and Bobo Brazil cleared the ring. LWF officials checked on Rocca as we he helped to the back dressing room. Winner: Bagwell by pinfall @ 4:10
Solie: A disgusting display as it appears that Ms. Tammy Sytch has brought a group her own together. I’ve said before that feel that this gang mentality that seems to be pervasive in the LWF has no place in the world of professional wrestling. Everyone seems to be choosing sides and creating alliances for either preservation or attack.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- The Destroyer (w/Capt. Lou Albano) vs. “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
A very even match early on between both men. Rogers had his Figure Four Grapevine locked in towards the ropes. This gave Albano a chance to step up on the ring apron and try and grab Rogers. The ref stepped in and Rogers released the hold and grabbed a hold of Albano and gave his a right hand that sent him to the floor. This gave the Destroyer a chance to hit a low blow on the Nature Boy. He then locked in his own version of the Figure Four Leglock in the center of the ring. Rogers resisted but finally blacked out from the pain. Winner: The Destroyer by submission @ 8:55 Solie: Lou Albano proves to turn the tide in this match, as Buddy Rogers appeared ready to notch another victory and move closer to a title match. The Destroyer instead will get the win.
-20 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall- The Road Warriors vs. The Midnight Express (w/Jim Cornette)
Animal and Hawk used double team power moves to gain advantage on their opponents. Cornette tried to toss Bobby Eaton his loaded racket but the ref intercepted it instead. Animal then whipped Eaton off the ropes and hit a Power Slam to get the win. Winners: Road Warriors by pinfall @ 10:10
Solie: I feel that the Road Warriors are the most dominant team in the LWF and when given a fair match they are almost unbeatable. I’m sure Bobby Heenan and his men have a close eye on them.
VTR- Backstage- (Solie provides narration as the video rolls backstage. Bobby Heenan is talking strategy with Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race. Heenan says that he has to make a phone call and Bockwinkel says he has to step out too. Slowly coming behind Race is Mil Mascaras. Mil calmly pokes Race on the shoulder and then delivers a fist to his face. A brawl erupts as many LWF wrestlers are brought to break things up.) Solie: Mil Mascaras is back and he has unfinished business with Harley Race -United States Heavyweight Title Match – 30 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall Johnny Valentine (c.) vs. Gorgeous George (w/ Cheri Dupree)
George was up to his usual antics and had both the referee and Valentine frustrated. George repeatedly escaped to the outside any time Valentine started to get some momentum. Valentine had had enough and grabbed George by his hair and slammed his head into a ringside table. The ref tried to get Valentine to back up but he refused and pushed the official to the side and continued his attack. The ref had no choice but to disqualify the champion. George was getting battered and quickly turned and left the ring area. Winner: Gorgeous George by disqualification @ 11:25 Solie: Johnny Valentine remains the United States champion but the antics of the Gorgeous One did prove to be quite frustrating and George even though he got the win is the worse for wear in the battle.
-LWF World Tag Team Title Match – 30 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel (w/Bobby Heenan) (c.) vs. Rikidozan & Giant Baba
This was another rematch from the tag team tournament finals. Race and Bockwinkel looked fluid on their teamwork. Race blocked a bodydrop attempt by Baba and hoisted him into a Piledriver. Baba was out as the champions retained their belts. They did not get to enjoy their victory long as the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff came from out of the crowd and attacked Race and Bockwinkel. The champions had no chance as they were left battered and beaten outside the ring. Ted DiBiase emerged from the back with his sidekick Virgil and a mic. “ You made a big mistake by not only turning down my generous offer but attacking one of my employees. No matter. Now I have team that will give me what I want in the tag team titles. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.” Winners: Race & Bockwinkel by pinfall @ 7:30
Solie: What a move by DiBiase! He has employed one of the greatest tag teams ever to win him the title belts. No wonder he appeared so confident today as he had this plan set in motion long ago. We will have to see how this affects the tag team title picture and how Bobby Heenan will react to this power play by DiBiase. See you next week.

LWF Superstars January 28, 2000 Louisville, KY Louisville Gardens Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR Opening (Highlights of Race-Bockwinkel getting attacked by Sheik-Volkoff and words by Ted DiBiase.)
Solie; Good evening and welcome to another edition of LWF Superstars. For those of you who missed last week’s show you missed what we showed at the top of the hour as Ted DiBiase has not given up on trying to get the tag team titles in his possession. He has hired one of the best tag teams in the world in the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff to do his work for him. Also we will see a LWF World title defense by Bruiser Brody against Antonio Inoki. We will also see another grudge encounter involving Harley Race as Mil Mascaras has returned and he is ready to gain a measure of revenge on one half of the World tag team champions. This and much more, let’s go to the ring!
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (w/Ted DiBiase & Virgil) vs. The Killer Bees
Sheik and Volkoff looked tough and used fluent tags and double teams to beat down the smaller Bees. The end saw the Sheik locking in the Camel Clutch and making Jim Brunzell tap for the submission. Winners: Sheik & Volkoff @ 6:35 by submission
Solie: DiBiase’s team looked impressive as the list of contenders grows one longer for the tag team titles.
-15 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall- Chris Candido (w/ Tammy Sytch) vs. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka
Snuka used chops and kicks to put the hurt on his opponent. Snuka missed a second rope headbutt when Sytch grabbed Candido’s legs. As the ref checked on Candido and his manager, Buff Bagwell made his way to ringside. He slipped into the ring and walloped Snuka with a foreign object that had him out on his feet. Candido then came to and hit a Top Rope Hurricanrana to get the win. Winner: Candido by pinfall @ 7:03 Solie: Another member of the Triple Threat causes one of his stable mates to get a cheap win. (Jimmy Snuka walks over to the podium visably upset.) JS: Gordon. Brother. I can’t tell you how tired I am of these so called wrestlers interfering in my matches, interfering in my partner’s matches. Causing people a lot of pain. Well let me tell you and anyone else who thinks they are in a gang. Jimmy Snuka is going to get his boys together to and then we’ll see who the real tough guys are.
-15 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall- The Road Warriors vs. Jimmy & Johnny Valiant (w/Capt. Lou Alabno)
The strains of “Iron Man” blasted over the speakers and the Valiants really had no chance. After some vicious double teams, Hawk hit the Doomsday Device on a helpless Johnny Valiant to gain the pin. Winners: Warriors by pinfall @ 3:45
Solie: I will say this that the Road Warriors appear to be focused and ready to take the tag team titles whenever they want to. They just ran through a very experienced team in the Valiants like a hot knife through butter.
Solie: Joining me know are the Animal and the Hawk and they have demanded some time to talk. RWH: Hey! Race and Bockwinkel it’s real simple boys, shine up those belts real nice cause the Warriors are here. Good for us, bad for you. RWA: All we need is a chance; one chance and we’ll take those titles. Just have the stinking guts to sign your name on the dotted line.
-15 Minute Time Limit- King Kong Bundy (w/Ted DiBiase & Virgil) vs. The Sandman
Bundy was the latest acquisition of DiBiase’s Corporation. Bundy was overwhelming on his opponent who looked punch drunk as it was. Bundy reversed a turnbuckle whip and hit the Atlantic City Avalanche to get the pin. Winner: Bundy by pinfall @ 5:05
Solie: The next acquisition by Ted DiBiase looks impressive as he dismantles The Sandman. The lines are being drawn and sides being chosen. Prepare for the aftermath.
-30 Minute Time Limit- - 1 Fall- Mil Mascaras vs. Harley Race (w/Bobby Heenan)
Mascaras was a house of fire and attacked Race before the bell and had him reeling. Race got in very little offense as Mascaras was dominant. Later in the contest, Mill went to the top rope and landed a Flying Body Press. This caused Bobby Heenan to jump on the ring apron, and Mascaras quickly nailed the wily manager with a short forearm smash. As Mascaras turned his attention to his foe, Race hit a low blow and delivered a Piledriver to get the win. Winner: Race by pinfall @ 6:45
Solie: Mil Mascaras controlled the entire contest but once Bobby Heenan stuck his weasily nose into the encounter he turned the tide for one half of the tag team champions.
VTR- Backstage (Buff Bagwell, Brutus Beefcake, and Chris Candido are talking in the locker room. Tammy Sytch then leads Candido away from scene and Beefcake says that he has a phone call to make. Bagwell starts to change and goes behind the curtain to take a shower. Suddenly, Bagwell is thrown back as Jimmy Snuka attacks him. Snuka chops and smacks away and knocks him to the ground. Bagwell is out cold as Snuka spits at him and says that next time he’ll be looking at him head on.)
-LWF World Title Match – 30 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall Bruiser Brody (c.) vs. Antonio Inoki
Inoki used his superior ability to keep the tempo in his favor and on the mat. He was close to getting the win and the title but Brody reversed the turnbuckle whip and caught the Japanese legend with a Clothesline. Brody then scrambled off the ropes and hit a Jumping Knee Drop to retain the title. Winner: Brody by pinfall @ 10: 55

LWF Superstars February 4, 2000 Chicago, IL Rosemont Horizon Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of Jimmy Snuka getting his revenge on Buff Bagwell. He spits at Bagwell and says that next time he will meet him head on.)
Solie: Good evening and for the next hour I will be your host, Gordon Solie. The battle lines are being drawn in the LWF and it can only mean that a major situation is brewing and it will need to be resolved. Perhaps things will be resolved at the LWF’s first Pay per view, on Sunday, February 13th in Detroit, Michigan called “GENESIS”. We will hear more on that as the weeks progress. Also we have a United States title defense as Johnny Valentine battles Lou Albano’s monster, Ox Baker. As well as you saw at the top of the program the issue that “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka had with members of the Tammy Sytch’s Triple Threat. They attacked Snuka and cost him a match, as well as attack and injure his partner, Antonino Rocca. Well, Snuka has friends too and the Triple Threat will take on Jimmy Snuka and the Road Warriors. But before we start the program Bobby Heenan has asked for some interview time.
(Bobby Heenan steps out with Masked Superstar, Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel.) BH: That’s right Solie I have a few things to say. First let me say something to you Ted DiBiase. You’ve started something that I don’t think your ready to finish. What makes you think that these men would want to leave the best thing that ever happened to them to go with you, just because you flash a little green under their nose. They are well paid, you ask them and they’ll tell you so. NB: Mr. DiBiase although Mr. Race and myself are flattered at the notion that you would want the best under your direction There is no way that we would go with you. We do value the friendship of Bobby Heenan as well as his expert advice. So we must decline. But for whatever reason that wasn’t good enough and to make it worse you go out and hire two men who show nothing but contempt for this country. I am as patriotic as the next man and I refuse to let the Iron Sheik or Nikolai Volkoff get anywhere near these belts. That I guarantee. HR: Everyone wants a piece of the best. That’s what we are. So, Mascaras, Brazil, Road Warriors, it doesn’t matter. We’ll be here for a long time and we’ll be telling all of you why we are the best and how we will stay that way. BH: So let me close with this Solie and Ted DiBiase. Make sure that you really want this because I’ll let the lesson begin tonight as the Superstar beats the tar out of that errand boy Virgil and leaves him crying in a corner. So let this be a lesson to anyone who wants to challenge the best.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs. “Playboy” Buddy Rose
Duggan raised his fist in the air and the fans were on their feet. Rose was never really in this one. Duggan hit a Flying Spear to lift the Vegas playboy off his feet and get the pin. Winner: Duggan by pinfall @ 5:05
Solie; Hacksaw Duggan is victorious and looked very impressive against Mr. Rose. He appeared overmatched in this one. -15 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall The Destroyer (w/ Capt. Lou Albano) vs. “Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt
Hackenschmidt’s power proved to be the difference in this contest. Albano tried to interfere but was shoved off the ring apron. The Destroyer tried to attack the Lion from the back but he spun around and locked in his Russian Bearhug that he him gasping for air and the ref ringing the bell. Winner: Hackenschmidt by submission @ 6:25
Solie; George Hackenschmidt getting in the win column once again. He was able to avoid any chicanery on the part of Alabno and he gets the duke.
-15 Minute Time Limit –1 Fall- Masked Superstar (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. Virgil (w/Ted DiBiase)
Virgil attacked the Superstar before the bell and caught the masked man by surprise. He locked in the Cobra Clutch and this brought Heenan to the ring apron. Virgil released the hold and took a swipe at Heenan who jumped off the mat. He was met by DiBiase on the other side and both men got into a heated argument. Virgil forgot all about his opponent as Superstar kicked Virgil in the gut and hit the Spinning Neckbreaker for the pin. Winner: Superstar by pin @ 4:11
Solie: This only looks to be the first chapter in a very brutal war between these two groups. Here’s to all the fans in the Minnesota area the LWF will hold a card on February 9. You will see US champion, Johnny Valentine defend against Gorgeous George as well as the LWF World tag team champions defend against the Road Warriors. This a host of other great matches, tickets are on sale-30 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall The Triple Threat (w/Tammy Sytch) vs. “Superfly”Jimmy Snuka & The Road Warriors
Snuka and the Roadies were in control the majority of the time. A botched double team by Bagwell and Beefcake led to Snuka jumping off the top rope with his Death Leap for the pinfall. Winners: Snuka & Warriors by pinfall @ 10 :35
-30 Minute Time Limit- Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (w/Ted DiBiase) vs. The Midnight Express (w/Jim Cornette)
Two top contenders square off in an exciting tag team match. All four men were in the ring fighting it out until Stan Lane ducked and the Iron Sheil went sailing over the top rope. This allowed for a double team and the Express to hit the Rocket Launcher for the pin. After the fall, no one noticed that Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race hit the outside and began pounding away on the Sheik. They tossed the Sheik face first into the ringpost and opened a gash on the forehead. DiBiase tried to help but he was ambushed by Superstar from behind. Both King Kong Bundy and Virgil rushed out to chase off the attackers. The damage was done as Sheik would need to be escorted from the ring. Winners: Midnight Express by pinfall @ 12:44 -LWF United States Title Match – 30 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Johnny Valentine (c.) vs. Ox Baker (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
Valentine didn’t appear to have much trouble with the larger Baker. He was distracted by Gorgeous George prancing around on the outside of the ring. George later joined Solie at the broadcast both and commented how good he would make the title look if it were around his waist. He was a bit shocked as Valentine put away the larger Baker with an Atomic Skullcrusher for the win. Valentine then grabbed the mike and challenged the prissy George to come in the ring. George smiled and only said that he would do it if the title were on the line. Winner: Valentine by pinfall @ 9:25

LWF Superstars February 11, 2000 San Antonio, TX Freeman Coliseum Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race attack the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff and cost them the match against Jim Cornette’s Midnight Express. What will happen this Sunday night when DiBiase’s foreign team gets their shot at tag team gold?)
Gordon Solie: Good evening everyone and welcome and we are just 2 days away from the LWF’s first attempt at Pay Per View and we have quite a card in store for you. We will have a final rundown before we leave you this evening. In fact our main event will pit two top contenders for the LWF World Heavyweight Title and the winner will face Bruiser Brody in Philadelphia. We also will have the a special tag team match as two of the Triple Threat will oppose Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers. This and much more as we head into GENESIS.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall “Dastardly” Danny Doring vs. S.D. Jones
Jones faced off against the flashy newcomer Doring. Doring got in a few high impact moves but seemed lost after Jones landed a couple of Head Butts. Special Delivery then went to the top turnbuckle and landed a spectacular cross body for the win. Winner: Jones by pin fall @ 5:10 Solie: Jones looked very good as he was able to best the newcomer Doring. I certainly hope that this could be the start of a win streak for the popular Jones.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall Brutus Beefcake & Buff Bagwell vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
A solid tag team match that saw the new team of Rogers and Snuka work well together. Rogers had Beefcake locked in the Figure Four Grapevine and looked ready to lock up the victory until Chris Candido hit the ring with a steel chair. Candido nailed Rogers and got him to release the hold. This brought the fans to their feet as Antonino Rocca hit the ring next and chased off Candido and the rest of the Triple Threat with a chair of his own. The ref had lost total control of this one and threw it out. Winner: Double Disqualification @ 8:35
Solie: This feud continues to intensify. Now Antonio Rocca has returned and he will be looking for some revenge on Chris Candido and the Triple Threat.
-15 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall Nick Bockwinkel (w/ Bobby Heenan) vs. King Kong Bundy (w/ Ted DiBiase)
DiBiase did not look happy as Heenan’s men have gotten the better of his Corporation as of late. Bockwinkel kept the big man off balance until Nikolai Volkoff came out and distracted both the official and Bockwinkel. The Iron Sheik took full advantage as he slid under the ropes and attacked Bockwinkel from behind. Volkoff then joined in on the attack as Bundy guarded the aisleway. Sheik then slapped the Camel Clutch on Bockwinkel and wrenched back. Harley Race, Bobby Heenan, and Masked Superstar all ran out and were held up by Bundy, DiBiase, Virgil, and Volkoff. Harley then grabbed a chair and was able to make headway and drive DiBiase’s crew out of the ring. The damage was done. Winner: Bockwinkel by disqualification @ 7:45
Solie: Well I guess you can score one for DiBiase and his men as they have perhaps seriously hurt Nick Bockwinkel. You have to wonder if this will impact the tag team title match this Sunday.
-30 Minute Time Limit- #1 Contenders Match- Mil Mascaras vs. Masked Superstar (w/ Bobby Heenan)
LWF World Champion, Bruiser Brody joined Gordon Solie at the announcer’s desk to help with commentary. This match was to decide who would take on Brody at the “GENESIS” pay per view. A back and forth contest most of the way. This time Ted DiBiase made his way to ringside and distracted Superstar as he had Mil in a Cobra Hold. Superstar dropped his man and then made his way over to the ropes and pointed at DiBiase. Mascaras then nailed Superstar with a Dropkick to the head and then went to the top rope. Mascaras then nailed Superstar with a beautiful Flying Body Press to get the three count. Superstar and Heenan didn’t seem worried about that as they both ran after a laughing Million Dollar Man. Brody smiled and said that he was looking forward to see Mil on Sunday. Winner: Mascaras by pinfall @ 12:35
Solie: Mil Mascaras will take on Bruiser Brody for the LWF World title this Sunday. If I could please give you a rundown of the card this Sunday night in Philadelphia. “LWF GENESIS” -LWF WORLD TITLE MATCH- Bruiser Brody (c.) vs. Mil Mascaras
-LWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH- Nick Bockwinkel & Harley Race (c.) vs. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff
-UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH – FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE- Johnny Valentine (c.) vs. Gorgeous George

The Lion dominated the action in this contest. Hackenschmidt used a Wristlock Suplex to get the rather easy victory. Winner: Hackenschmidt by pinfall @ 2:25
-1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- The Destroyer (w/ Capt. Lou Albano) vs. Bobo Brazil
The Destroyer used some ground based wrestling to gain the upper hand. Brazil was able to break free from a Sleeper Hold attempt and used a few Coco Butts to gain control. Lou Albano tried to distract the big man but he caught a strong right hand instead. Brazil then used a Bobo Slam to put the Destroyer away. Winner: Brazil by pinfall @ 10:45
Backstage: Gene Okerlund is talking with Bobo Brazil. Okerlund congratulates him on a hard fought victory ands asks what is next for the superstar. Brazil says he is ready to get back on track and that means titles. He has some payback left for some people in the Heenan family. They may be worried about DiBiase's crew but they best not forget about him. -1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- Masked Superstar (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. King Kong Bundy (w/Ted DiBiase & Virgil)
A back and forth match between these wrestlers. Late in the contest, Virgil jumped on the apron as Superstar had his Cobra Hold locked in. Superstar let go and swiped at Virgil, which gave Ted DiBiase time to smash Superstar with the ringside bell in the face. Superstar fell back and Bundy scooped him up and them whipped him into the buckle and landed his Avalanche. Superstar was out cold. This brought Bobby Heenan to the apron but Bundy just grabbed him and flipped him into the ring. Heenan begged for mercy as Bundy threatened him. Superstar slowly stumbled to his feet and placed an object in his mask. He spun Bundy around and landed a loaded headbutt that forced Bundy to fall through the ropes. Bundy fell back and hit his head and could not answer the count as Virgil tried to help him back to his feet. Superstar staggered out with Bobby Heenan’s help with a hard earned win. Winner: Superstar by countout @ 11:15
-1 Fall – 20 Minute Time Limit- The Killer Bees vs. Jimmy & Johnny Valiant (w/Capt. Lou Albano)

VTR: Promo is aired to "Beer Barrel Polka" in the background. A closeup is shown of what appears to be an Oktoberfest type celebration and then it zooms in to see the Crusher downing a hug beer. He looks at the camera ,"Hey, listen all you bums out there in the LWF, the man that made Milwaukee famous is on his way and just like I finished off that tall cool one, I'll do the same to any of you. Now gimmie another fresh one."
-United States Heavyweight Title Match- 1 Fall – No Time Limit – FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE- Johnny Valentine (c.) vs. Gorgeous George (w/Cheri Dupree)
The champion attacked George and got a face full of white powder. Temporarily blinded George got a few near falls. Things changed drastically when the match moved to the outside. Valentine slammed George into the ringbell and opened a cut on his face. Valentine did not got for a cover and really laid in the punishment. He landed an Atomic Skullcrusher and went for the pin. Out of the crowd, Buddy Rose attacked Valentine and hit a Leaping DDT and left the ring after putting George on top. The ref was reluctant but made the count but the champ kicked out. Valentine blocked the Orchid’s next move and threw him over the top rope. He followed him out and then whipped his opponent into the soveniur stand and made the cover to retain his belt. Winner: (Still Champion) Valentine by pinfall @ 19:33
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- The Triple Threat (w/ Tammy Sytch) vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers & Antonino Rocca
Rocca was out first and demanded that Candido join him. He tried to stall but was dragged into the ring. Rocca slapped him around and then clamped down on the Body Scissors and wouldn’t let go. Snuka took out Bagwell and Rogers handled Beefcake. Candido was gasping for air and quickly gave up. Rogers and Snuka then joined Rocca inside the ring after disposing of their foes. Rocca continued to keep on the pressure. Rocca then went to the top rope and with the help pf his partners he hit Candido with the same Power Bomb move that put him out. Winners: Rocca, Snuka, & Rogers by pinfall @ 3:25 -1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit- The Midnight Express (w/ Jim Cornette) vs. The Road Warriors
Lane and Eaton attacked the Roadies before the bell to gain the upper hand. It didn’t last long as Animal threw Lane over the top rope and he and his partner attacked Eaton. Hawk went to the Top rope and nailed Eaton with the Doomsday Device for the three count. It didn’t stop there as Animal then took Eaton outside and Powerslammed him through the ringside table. Winners: Warriors by pinfall @ 11:30
-TEXAS DEATH MATCH – No Time Limit - The Sandman vs. Ox Baker
A surprisingly short match as both men went at it. Sandman used his rattan cane until Baker ducked and used a steel chair. Baker then hit his dreaded Heart Punch to get the pinfall. Sandman was down and needed help to the back. Winner: Baker by pinfall @ 5:11
-LWF WORLD Tag Team Title Match – 45 Minute Time Limit – 1 Fall- Nick Bockwinkel & Harley Race (c.) (w/ Bobby Heenan) vs. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (w/ Ted DiBiase & Virgil)
This was the much anticipated match of the night. Both teams had their chance to get the win. Late in the contest, Volkoff sccoped up Bockwinkel and attacked his injured back and slammed him down over his knee. This brought in Race who was promptly attacked by the Iron Sheik. All four men were in the ring and the ref simply lost control and had to throw this one out. The brawl continued until LWF officials broke things up. Winner: Double-Disqualification @ 10:44
-LWF WORLD Heavyweight Title Match – 60 Minute Time Limit- 1 Fall Bruiser Brody (c.) vs. Mil Mascaras

As we all know, the Sheik will make you humble. I will have to revist that one once the Sheik/Volkoff and Race/Bockwinkel feud is over.

We will have one other debut of sorts in Bill Apter as he starts an interview segment called, “The Hot Seat” and in the seat this week is “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers. This and much more on today’s program. -1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Cowboy” Bob Orton vs. Buff Bagwell

He thanked Solie again and left.
-VTR – Backstage- Gorgeous George is getting manicure from his valet Cheri Dupree. There is a knock on his locker room. It is Buddy Rose, who appears nervous, he asks if he could have a moment of his time. George sighs but agrees. Rose talks about what a huge fan he is of the Human Orchid and was really hoping that would have won the U.S. title, so much so he was willing to help. George feigns recognizing that Rose interfered in his title match last week. Rose continues saying that he would love it if George could mentor him, to teach him to be a gentleman’s gentleman. George looks him over and says that he would really have to be convinced. Rose says that he has a match coming up and he would love to show him why he should help him out. Rose excitedly leaves while George goes back to his manicure shaking his head. -1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- “Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. The Crusher
After a few minutes, Gorgeous George and his valet joined the action at ringside. Rose tried very hard to impress his would be mentor. He whipped Crusher into the turnbuckle but Crusher caught him with a boot to the face as he charged in. After that it was all downhill as Crusher nailed him with his Bolo punch and got the win. George just shook his head as he left as very upset Rose in the ring. Winner: Crusher by pinfall @ 6:10
-THE HOTSEAT w/ Bill Apter- Bill Apter: Hello wrestling fans and welcome to a new segment here on LWF Superstars called the Hot Seat. This is where wrestling top performers get asked the tough questions. For our first segment I have a man who is considered one of the greatest of all time, I talking about “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers. Buddy Rogers: Thank you, a pleasure to talk to you. BA: Now we have seen as of late that you have formed a partnership with Jimmy Snuka and Antonino Rocca, would you like to comment about that? BR: Buddy Rogers is a man that handles his own business and I helped those two guys out because Snuka was there for me. I didn’t ask him for it. So I’m a stand up guy I repaid my debt. Now it’s time to move on. BA: What would that be? BR: Titles, of course. You said yourself. I am the greatest of all time and I should be treated a such. I’d love a crack at that overgrown gorilla, Brody and show the people how a real world champion dresses and acts. I certainly wouldn’t mind showing Valentine that he’s been copying my act for years. The real Nature Boy should step forward. BA: I see, Do you have any final words for the fans out there. BR: Just that I will prove to all the nine to fivers that Buddy Rogers rules the squared circle, I just need my chance. -1 Fall – 15 Minute Time Limit- Mil Mascaras vs. The Destroyer (w/Capt. Lou Albano)
Mascaras was impressive but Albano tried to keep his charge in the match. As Mil had the Octopus Hold sinched in, Albano was able to distract him and Destroyer caught him with a low blow. He then went for a kneedrop that missed and Mascaras flew off the top rope with a Bodypress for the three count. Winner: Mascaras by pin @ 7:02
-1 Fall – 30 Minute Time Limit – Main Event- Masked Superstar, Nick Bockwinkel, & Harley Race (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. King Kong Bundy, Ted DiBiase, & Virgil

After all is said and done all members of the Heenan family and Heenan himself are laid out in the ring as DiBiase cackles for the camera. Winners: Superstar, Bockwinkel, & Race by disqualification @ 9:34

I've had Mascaras and Destroyer teaming recently, but I really want to have them feud. Maybe throw the Superstar in as well.
Nice six man tag action. Interesting putting Superstar in there with Bock and Race.

LWF Superstars February 25, 2000 Hershey,PA Hersheypark Center Announcer: Gordon Solie Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
VTR (Video of last week with Heenan’s family laid out and DiBiase cackling in the screen.) GS: As you can see the action between these two factions is really heating up and the LWF World Tag team title hold in the balance. Once again we have a superior show for you and just let--- (Bobby Heenan rushed into view and grabs the mic.) BH: Gimme that Solie. DiBiase you think that you’ve got one over on the Brain. We’ll guess again punk. I know why you got the best of us, it’s very simple. It’s numbers. You have more than we have, well I can easily fix that one. I have a surprise for you I made a few phone calls and I will announce a new member of the Heenan family very soon and then well see who’s counting the lights. But, mark my words you will never get those belts. Never! (Heenan leaves quicker than he arrived.) GS: As I said the action between those two is very heated. On today’s program you will see in our Main event one half of the tag champions in Nick Bockwinkel against one of Ted DiBiase’s men, The Iron Sheik. That and a host of others. Let’s go to the ring.
“Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase (w/ Virgil) vs. S.D. Jones
DiBiase takes a few moves early but establishes himself. He locks in the Million Dollar Dream and Jones goes out. DiBiase puts a few more boots to him as he leaves the ring. He responds to Heenan by saying bring it on and that he and his men are ready. Winner: DiBiase by submission @ 3:05
Bobo Brazil vs. Masked Superstar (w/Bobby Heenan)
Brazil was on fire during this match. Bobo landed several Coco Butts to put the masked man down for the count. After the match Brazil grabbed the mic and said that many people had forgotten about him and that he has been waiting to pay the Superstar back, now he wants to turn his attention to a championship. Winner: Brazil by pinfall @ 7:55
VTR Buddy Rose is getting ready backstage when Gorgeous George and his valet, Cheri Dupree appear next to him. George says that he was somewhat impressed with his attack on that barefoot abomination in Jimmy Snuka and that George sees him as a diamond in the rough. He will help him because he really needs it, but the first step is realizing that you have a problem. Rose ignores this obvious putdown and is so excited as they head to the ring.
“Playboy” Buddy Rose & Gorgeous George (w/ Cheri Dupree) vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & Antonino Rocca
Rose and George worked well together. They frustrated their opponents so much that Rocca tossed George to the floor, then ascended the top rope and landed with a Flying Body splash. He didn’t stop there as he slammed George into the guard rail as Snuka and Rose battled on the inside. The ref had had enough and called for the bell disqualifying Rocca and Snuka. Winners: George & Rose by disqualification @ 9:22
-TV Main Event- Nick Bockwinkel (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. The Iron Sheik (w/Ted DiBiase)
Bockwinkel still looked a bit weary as he favored his back slightly. This was a very good wrestling contest with both managers getting their shots in. Bockwinkel had his Sleeper applied but DiBiase distracted the official from checking. Sheik turned around and slammed Bockwinke into the corner. Bockwinkel slumped over and the Sheik locked in his Camel Clutch. He applied the hold three separate times until he had had enough and tapped out. The Iron Sheik still kept the pressure on even after the bell sounded. Down the runway Rick Rude came sprinting. He jumped into the ring and nailed the Sheik with punches until he released the hold and slid under the ropes.
