Well, all other arguements aside, I don't see how it is complaining to offer your opinion when at the beginning of all this the development team said, "we want your opinions."
They did not say, "we want your opinions, but only if they fully agree with ours."

Your opinion was supposed to be about the COTG Online. Not if we could make every guy a pdf format so you could buy each guy separately.
That wouldn't make sense.
I don't know what else to tell you.

No one has said anything about buying every card seperately. Just offering an alternative to making editions online exclusive, which is an opinion about online.

No it isn't. Your attitude is worse with complaining about something so trivial and the fact that you can still print out the cards anyways makes your arguement even more ridiculous. You just don't want to buy the game you just want to buy the cards and you can't. If you could it would be called COTG PDF and not COTG ONLINE. C'mon. Just because in the current model they are one in the same does not mean that this is the best or even only option. We are still in the development stage if I understand correctly, which means that there is room for suggestions and debate. All I am saying is that I don't see the current model as the ONLY way to do things, and options should still be explored at this early stage. And as far as my arguments go, I could give you the JR response of "change the channel" and "don't listen", meaning you can simply ignore my posts and arguments. Or you can engage them. The choice is really yours. We must disagree about the relation of politics and social issues between artifacts of popular culture. I see a very strong relation between the two. Remember, "The Personal IS Political".

Why would that not make sense considering you could charge a price where the creators make just as much from an edition on paper but without the printing costs.

I still think the pdf file for card purchase that Pride originally stated is a good idea if Tom goes for it. It means monetary gain from those like Hedge that are just stuck at "No" when COTGonline concerns. I also understand that this is the only lifeblood for aCe and CPC and the inclusion of 21 to be a selling point for Online and have no arguements with it. I also understand that this is a big step forward for Filsinger games which can only be a good thing and as long as it continues to go forward I am welcome to go along for the crazy ride! :-) but the pdf file idea is a good one!
I have no idea how civil rights got involved in the convo or why but that simply goes over my head as far as its relevence so I will not comment on its looneyness. :-)

No, I'm gonna tell you that your arguments are wrong. That's all.
I know your heart is in the right place. But I think Tom and Kris have pretty much decided on how the Online will work.
Politics have no place on this board in the COTGOnline section.
You seem to not be able to separate your political views from everything and think that everyone else is the same.
When none of my political views are a part of this discussion.

Are you getting the option to buy just the PDF files? No. It's been said several times. That's it. And womens rights has nothing to do with it so sorry if you're offended.

This could always be settled with a match at Galacticon. How about a Titan Death Tag Team Match with Swarm & Payback vs. Hegemony & a mystery partner. Let's settle it once and for all.

This whole thing reminds me of my day to day battles with a lot of my clients:
Me: Your closing costs are this...
Them: That's too much...
Me: Well that's what they are...
Them: Well then I'm doing the loan...
Me: Ok that's fine...
Them: That's really what they are?
Me: Yes...
Them: Ok. Let's do this.
And Hegemony and Talison will both buy COTG Online in the end I'm sure just like all my clients do their loans, If you want it and/or need it you'll pay for it. Such is life. It is what it is.

Ok I'm going to have a match right now between Hegemony (since I have the cards) and Swarm and if you win I will talk to Tom and Kris for you about buying PDF files like the people at the post office who stand in front of you in line forever to buy a few stamps when you could have gotten a roll and not be wasting everyone's time...
but if Swarm wins you have to knock it off.
Bee right back with the results...

(Big heel response from the crowd) ;D But I will thrash you in the upcoming match just for fun.

This match meant nothing since no stips were agreed upon.
But let's raise the stakes a bit. At Galacticon, me and my mystery partner face you and Payback in a Titan Death Tag Match, and if I win, you guys have to agree with me for two straight weeks on these boards no matter my argument.
If we lose, which we won't, I will talk about how great Umaga is for two straight weeks on these boards.

Okay here is my suggestion: Whatever the cost is for Online we will now call it the cost for the aCe 2121 PDF files, and you get to try out COTGOnline for free!!
That way you're not paying for Online you're paying for rhe PDF's and no one has to complain.

And since all of this started because of my post, I would like to name myself to be the special guest referee... and anyone who knows me will verify that I can call things right down the middle.
Here's my suggestion - Payback and Swarm vs. Hedgmony and a mystery partner (although Talison would be a good choice) in a Cosmic Cage elimination tag match at Galacticon 2007. The losing team buys the winning team one year of CotGOnline.
As far as the wrestlers involved, CotG offically released product rule applies, but just to make this more interesting, I have a suggestion. Each player gets two wrestlers, making it a four on four elimination match.
HOWEVER...
Each person gets to pick one wrestler of their choice, and each person gets to pick one wrestler to be on their opponents team. In other words, Swarm, Payback, Hedgmony and Wrestler X get to pick one wrestler for themselves, and one wrestler to be on the other side of the ring.
What do you think?
