If you are so very clever as to create that picture, then you are obviously smart enough to know how ridiculous you are being. Obviously you can read, so that tells me that you are misreading and misinterpreting intentionally. I therefore won't even bother arguing with you. If being a jackass and insulting others is your idea of fun, then it does not matter that much to me.

What does amaze me is that people here could accuse me of having been insulting when I had no intention of being so and would carry this thread on for so many posts over defending someone against a non-existent insult, when you post idiocy like you just did all the time and no one sees it as worth mentioning. Answer what question? The only one I can see that you asked is "Yeah I did. You did say it's not about the money...then what is it...? " If that's what you're referring to, I have answered it several times. Chewey got it after I responded to him. You could just read back a bit. But if necessary, I will re-post one more time:

That was the whole point, apart from the title of the thread--simply seeking an explanation, as I did not know the story behind the card. Don't make this into something that it is not. It is not a complaint. It is not an insult. It is not some deep analysis of Neil's art of of Tom's business practices. It was a question and an observation. That's it.

I also said that I probably would have bought the cards anyway, so I was pretty obviously not complaining about the money. I'm not sure why this needs any further explanation. Like I said, try reading the whole thread before jumping in.

I said I was surprised and that I think it would be good business to let people know what they are getting. I did not say I would not buy it; I said the opposite. I did not say it was not worth the money; it was $5, for crying out loud. Who cares about five bucks? I make enough in a month to not worry much about the price of a single beer. I was simply talking about my surprise at what I got. I am using the card. I was not complaining. I was making a suggestion regarding what I think would be a responsible decision. I honestly think your reading comprehension has to be better than you are showing here.

Your preface of, "I like the character" and "It's only 5 bucks" is one of those things you say so that nobody thinks you're being mean when you basically say a 14 yr old's drawing is not up to par.

From what I've seen, Tom goes out of his way to encourage this community to participate and truely be a part of his creation. Some of the ways he has done this is through Promoter Madness, Create a Character, the development of COTG online, and his support to the bootleg community.

Most of us understand this and support those who put themselves out there and add to the COTG Universe. I have a Rush card and I hold it in the same regard as any other card I have in my collection, and I appreciate the effort that was put into it. I've gotten a lot of enjoyment from playing a game that has storylines and characters created by people much more creative than me and drawn by artists much more talented than me.

I guess what I am trying to say is that maybe you didn't insult anyone in your posts. It doesn't change the fact that some of us find some of the sentiment expressed in those posts insulting.
