Yes, this board does RULE!!!!!!
From a personal standpoint, I have had nothing but outstanding and very encouraging contacts with the quality people on this board. The amount of well-wishes I have gotten regarding my mom was amazing and means a lot to me. I even got a PM from Neilybob just to get an update on my mom. And Swarm has gone out of his way to help with some questions I have regarding my mortgage. SO yes, this board is full of GREAT people who do indeed RULE.

Guys and Gals, I really, really hope Chris doesn't delete this post as I am not trying so slam anyone with it, but this is an expert from a really good friend of mine who posts on the deuce and of all the things that have been said about the rift I think this statement is about as good as is gets...to respect my friends privacy I will not disclose his name but this is what he said... I remember them scrambling to get Tom to put a link to their page on the official website and being very happy when that happened. Tom's positive response to them was even pasted into a thread somewhere. So he was willing to give them recognition and support their effort. All well and good.
Now you've got at least three of the mod staff (Holland, Tommy, and Trav) who are saying they're not going to support Filsinger Games anymore because of Tom's supposed favoritism of people they don't like. It's a free country and they can think what they want, that's not what I have a problem with.
But if they were real stand-up guys, they'd write to Tom and request that he take down the link to their site, and give their reasons for it. If they're not going to support his product financially anymore, why should he continue to provide an endorsement? If I were him, I'd drop them. Newbies should be directed to a board where they're actually going to get an admin staff who supports the product that the members are talking so much about. Makes me wonder what they're still doing there.to add to that, to give an idea of what a bad guy I am, through Splattercat (a great guy and a great member of this board) I offered to make peace with a few of the guys by offering to buy them each a copy of PROMOTER MADNESS signed by me (ok I made that last part up but it's funny...) and they out-right refused... so I don't really have a way to wrap this post up other than to say I love this game, I love this board, and I love Tom like a father figure and nothing anyone could ever say could ever make me turn my back on it, this, or him...if others can then that is their decision and I wish them the best. I really do. Peace. Swarm This is a great point, and I actually mentioned it to someone yesterday. I don't know how you can have a discussion board dedicated to a product and having the people who run the board basically saying, " Fuck the product, and fuck the guy who puts it out." I didn't see the thread that was deleted, but the fact that it was put out in public is obviously an attempt to hurt Tom's business. I agree that Tom should remove the Deuce from the home page. |

Hell I have about a hundred PMs from people saying various things about other people...Do you see me throwing them around..? No, because I was under the impression that it was a ban-worthy offense... Well, nothing really....Nothing's changed...Everyone remembers that Splattercat and Swarm don't get along...Well, we still don't...The main reason we haven't been at odds lately is because I haven't been around...I just felt like setting the record straight as far as the little PRIVATE discussion that Swarm and I had...By the way Chris, just so I and everyone else knows...Tell me again how that works..? Anyway, my work threw me a curveball and although I'm secure and doing awesome, my co-workers aren't, and I'm fighting an uphill battle with upper-management...It's not easy, and I haven't been in a good mood for the last couple weeks... The only reason I even came on was to say hi to Neilybob, and because Pittbull told me that Trav made a big post on the Deuce...I came back here to see any feedback, and I missed it...But I did happen to get an interesting PM from Swarm asking me...ME of all people...for a favour...What a great guy that Swarm is...In retrospect I should have gone with my instincts and just ignored the whole thing...I didn't even post in Trav's thread... Anyway...Sorry to all of you that I had to break my silence in this way...It sucks...You guys were having such a good time too....Oh well, 'all good things' and all that... By the way, Thanks Dukedave, for asking about me...That was cool...  Oh one last thing...I noticed recently there was a thread with some favorite sayings...Here's one of mine: "Those who matter, know...Those who don't know, don't matter..."

Anyhow, it seems like you are jumping the gun with these "Swarm's trying to make himself look good," accusations. Hell, maybe he just wanted them to come back to the fold. Maybe Rob feels bad that these diluded, issue-ridden clowns would quit playing COTG and place their blame for him. And before you start taking up for your brother, I don't think I'm even talking about him. But, if he's one of those who is no longer going to purchase from Filsinger Games and has made a public spectacle about it simply because they had some arguments with someone over comments posted on an Internet discussion board about a wrestling game or federation then I am referencing him, too. |

Joe...Please...try to give me a bit more credit than that...I told Swarm the same thing: If someone is tired of a product for whatever reason, offering them more product is not going to make a difference...Beyond that, if I'm not mistaken, all 5 of them had purchased everything Tom put out...What difference would Promoter Madness make..? You're smarter than that....I'm smarter than that, and I guess Swarm has us both beat because we were both fooled...

There is no "you guys" in this situation, just me. I'm the one who called them diluded, issue-ridden clowns. I have made my thoughts about their constant obsessing over and bitching about Swarm, even several months after they banned him from being a member of, or even viewing, their site. I have also said that you(Splattercat) seem like a pretty cool individual. That said, I am sure you would find something wrong when there has been more than one person who has said they feel unwelcome on the Deuce because they have basically said they don't feel that Swarm is some kind of anti-Christ when he is being talked about. Seriously, what the hell could they have to say about him? He hasn't had any direct communication with them in months. Do they really care that much about his existence that they must bring him up every so often just to express to new members of their board that they don't like him? I didn't see Trav's farewell thread, so I cannot speak about that one. I did, however, see Tafkaga's check-out speech where he made the toilet paper in the store analogy. Is it that fucking serious, people? How pathetic must your life be that you could post in a public forum how much you love a game (a game!) but you must now give it up because someone you don't like volunteers to help edit and promote a product the game company is putting out? For real, the guy sounded like he was crying on his keyboard. Even you have to admit that sounds like the actions of someone who is not altogether stable. |

CURRENT: Bickering over retardness which I believe is why people left no? No I don't have all the inside scoops on why people think Swarm is inhuman, nor do I care, I just wish we could get along but if we can't lets cry somewhere else. k?

Damn, 'Cat way to make an entrance... I got a couple things: It seems to me the majority of these 'issues' are based around PMs (going all the way back to when those guys left).. maybe we ALL should try to remember PM stands for PRIVATE message. I'm not going to presume to know what's in another man's mind (as I have enough trouble with my own), but I think I'd disagree with both sides on the Promoter Madness set thing.. I think as a peace offer, it was a good one though, and I'd have taken it if I was mad  Some of those guys have had ALOT of issues, and if personal issues with people on a message board make it so they can't enjoy a great board game, that's their perogative. I do wonder why they participate/moderate a message board to a game they don't play anymore, but, again, I don't presume to know what's in another's head. @ Joe - you often have good points to make, but the name calling SERIOUSLY lowers your credibility, IMO.. there's no need for airing that sorta thing in public.. . you can have personal opinions about people without sharing them. |

Joe...Newsflash...Up until Trav made his post, There hadn't been mention of Swarm over there in a long while...But I see Swarm has been slagging the Deuce non-stop...I saw a lot of guys over here saying "Why have two boards? They're basically the same board"...Well, it's true they are...People over here bitch about them as much as they supposedly bitch about over here...And you know, this whole thread up until I walked in and ruined it had a very touching "I love you guys, this place rocks, so much better than that other place" vibe to it...Yeah, the very same one that was slagged to death when it came out of the Deuce...Guess that makes me some sort of Anti-Christ too eh..?
By the way, who was it that brought up the Deuce anyway..? Oh yeah, Swarm...

When the chat room got shut down there was a lot of referencing about how people were getting pissed that they were not allowed to use it as a bash Swarm room. Holland went on that homophobic rant about Swarm in a thread over here, then later started that stupid "State of the Community" thread. Don't fool yourself and think that none of the Duece guys have talked about Swarm or this board. By your own admission, you have been away from the boards for a while, and you may have noticed the Deuce guys have a penchant for deleting two types of threads pretty quickly: The ones they don't agree with and the ones that, after thinking about it, make them sound like jack offs. You're right, though, I don't understand why you are so upset. Furthermore, I really don't get how you feel used. |

I don't see why you are so upset. I could have easily posted a new thread with the same offer to those guys as I sent you in a pm but I sent it to you in a pm because you are brothers with Pitbull and I thought my offer would be easier accepted without asking for those guys address'.
To turn on me like this and make it as if you feel I could have ulterior reasons for being so kind just makes me throw my hands up in the air... Is is so crazy to think that I have a heart too? Do you always have to look for a fight?
