Well I wouldn't go as far as to say their board is flame free as I was and still happen to be the focus of much flaming (and sometimes even photo shopped pics)... it's more of a place for them to flame people and not get flamed back...really, their discussions are the same as ours here... kind of like emo kids who hang out in packs and then complain the whole world doesn't understand them when their problems are usually the same as everyone elses... all in all, from what I read over there they are happy and I'm happy for them. Each time I register over there Tafgata bans me for, well, just being me so now I just sneak around and read stuff if I feel like it... Far as I can tell it's working out well for everyone involved. Like the old adage says, "if you can't beat 'em, make your own board."

Yeah, as of right now, it seems that everyone is happy. Let's hope it stays that way.

A lot of people post and read both Boards, just like I do. I will continue to do so, since it really doesn't matter to anyone else whether I only post here or there.
I am also a Commish here, as well as being the one to suggest these Boards to begin with, so I will be around for awhile at least.

I Post on both boards, I will post anywhere COTG is being discussed. I hope it doesn't get "out of hand " with the newer boards popping up though.

I've been mainly posting to the new boards, why?
Because, thus far, there seems a real committment to keep discussions civil, and not degenate into the pointless bickering and personal insults that were becoming commonplace here.
As far as flaming people goes, there hasn't been ANY of that, with the exception to the occasional reference to Swarm by those who left this board due to what they felt was his poor behavior (I'm not condoning, just presenting the facts.. but his post here is exactly why many of them left)
I'll read and post wherever the best discussion is... right now, that's the Deuce. If that changes again, I'll move again.
I agree that massive fragmenting of the CotG community would be bad, but I don't think that will happen, at least not in the short term.

I agree with almost everything Wildfire's said, and I thank him for saying it a little more eloquently than I probably would have. Because, thus far, there seems a real committment to keep discussions civil, and not degenate into the pointless bickering and personal insults that were becoming commonplace here. This was the problem for me. Not that people disagree, but rather the manner in which it was too often done and the fact that the bickering overcame and destroyed every thread it was started in. There's a way to disagree and to have a debate without forgetting how to treat people. As far as flaming people goes, there hasn't been ANY of that, with the exception to the occasional reference to Swarm by those who left this board due to what they felt was his poor behavior (I'm not condoning, just presenting the facts.. but his post here is exactly why many of them left) This is the only thing that I disagree with. There WAS some of that on the Deuce, and it made a lot of us over there unhappy. There is no more of it now as board policy, the majority of what there was has been deleted, and any new posts that pop up with that kind of nonsense in them are swiftly deleted.

As the founder of the Deuce I feel obligated in some way to speak on this topic.
1. The Deuce was not formed to smite nor flame other people. As Swarm Indicated that yes he was a target and had a pic of him. I was away for the holidays and was not aware of these things until I got back and quickly corrected them making sure flame's are not erupted. I have no personal issue with Swarm nor anyother person in the Filsinger community but there were a few people who were leaving here and talking about leaving the Filsinger community and not continue to support the product whatsoever. I felt it necessary to make a board to accommodate those people.
2. Many of the Deuce's members are members of this board but there are a few that had major problems here and decided to leave. This was on their own account and not mine. If I had a final say both boards are great and everyone should go where they want to as long as they read all things on both boards
3. The Swarm Situation. As I said I have no personal issue with Swarm, Payback or anyone who has be deemed his buddy. I however did ban Swarm from there because the exclusive people to the Deuce came there to get away from the "Antics" (And I quote those because as I said I dont have the main clue or information) and said that around Swarm they feel pushed away, cant post without being targeted and what not. I felt it was better to keep the majority of Filsinger fans happy and ban Swarm and I have PM'ed him and talked about it. I also apologized to him and told him when I found out about the pic and the flames I put a stop to them and made an announcement.
3. As for the mod powers. I am not a hard man to get along with and I run a casual gaming board. I do not however take lightly to flames and personal attacks as it brings down the board as a whole and hurts the community. Flame get in trouble. No flames be happy.
4. I in no way feel a separate board bad just like anything else different people have different views and need places to express them.
There was more I wanted to post but it eludes me at this moment, I may return to post more.
Thank you for the space and the time.
Todd Holland Loyal COTG fan, Founder of The Deuce, and member of both communities

This is just a symptom of the problem I guess.People don't like someone else so they think they shouldn't be allowed to post . So they bail. It's like complaining about what you see on TV, yet still watch it. I still post on both boards, so i didn't really feel the need to comment except to point out that this seems like a backwards metaphor. Sitting still and not changing the channel is a very passive thing to do. To actually do nothing and remain here arguing all the time would be more like "not changing the channel." For an entire group of people to leave (regardless of their reasons) is more like: Hey, my cable provider isn't carrying NFL Network so I'm cancelling and ordering from a satellite provider, because I really want NFL network, even though I know I'm missing out on some other stations. Also, I seriously doubt either board will splinter the COTG Community because there's the underlying commonality we have of all being fans of COTG and/or LOW. As long as there's that unifying thread, the COTG community will be fine..

I post on both, albeit, in limited capacity...My participation here has dropped to maybe 2 posts per day (based on 20 in the last 10 days)...I will however be moving my soon to be resumed WWWF Fed over there, since that's where everyone who viewed it now resides...That and, due to overwhelming votes on a recent poll, my World Champion is goign to be stolen by a Deuce-Exclusive Promoter, so keeping it here would be confusing to read...
As far as the Deuce itself; I look at it as an experiment...Much like Chris viewed THREAD...Only this time, I look at as a CotG community without Swarm...
If you would like to see such a place, go to the Deuce, see if you like it... If you're not interested in that, check it out anyway, it's grown beyond simply Swarm not being there... If you have issues with a seperate board, or a board where the reason it was created is not allowed there (because that would be retarded) don't go...Plain and simple... if you find you like the Deuce and want to post on both, you're freakin' awesome...
No-one is telling anyone to leave, and no-one is telling anyone who goes to the Deuce that you can't post here...Whining about people cancelling there accounts here isn't going to bring them back, and dissing them for it is likely to prove their point and possibly make more leave, so really, what's the point of this thread..?
EDIT: By the way DMK...This board split into two groups a LONG time ago...I'm surprised you're just noticing that now...Way I see it, nothing has really changed at all...

All I know is there is no pride in being a quitter. Team sports teaches you that.
So put your kids in sports or they might wind up to be a quitter.
Just my opinion.

There is a heaven. There is a hell. They have different meanings to different people. People take different paths. They are not quiters. Free will my friends. May everyone be happy in their own place.

All I know is there is no pride in being a quitter. Team sports teaches you that. So put your kids in sports or they might wind up to be a quitter. Just my opinion. This comment is so off the mark. By this same reasoning: - people who leave their jobs bcause they feel devalued or underutilized and need a change did not have the heart to stick it out and wait for the sunnier days to approach. -people who leave mentally and verbally abusive relationships are losers because they could not take a little constructive critcism and have thin skin. -people who leave their country due to the oppression of their government or society just suck out loud because they should have stayed and tried to change what they did not like in their homeland.. And just so we are all aware, people actually do quit team sports. I see it everyday. Most of the time it is due to the kid not liking the sport. In our case we members who left like CotG, just not what has developed here. Plus since this is a wrestling game website, and wrestling is an individual sport, I guess we are all in trouble then.

3. The Swarm Situation. As I said I have no personal issue with Swarm, Payback or anyone who has be deemed his buddy. I however did ban Swarm from there because the exclusive people to the Deuce came there to get away from the "Antics" Does anybody else see a problem with this?! The fact that people have split up so badly that they had to start a new board seems extremely silly to me. God knows I disagree and dislike stuff people say on here, but far be it from me to cry and whine, and delete my account just to start a new board and BAN the people from the other board because I don't like what they have to say. You could at least let them join, and then if they step out of line, you can ban them. But I'm sure they'd ban Swarm for the innocent, and ever popular, "That sucks balls" line. ;D We had a situation like this on the egroups years back where a new board was created and people from the old group were not allowed to join because the creators of that board did not like said people. It was wrong then such as it is wrong now. Thats not how you conduct business in an online community, nor how you would conduct business in real life..if of course, you consider yourself an adult. I don't know, there is something about the whole situation that sits with me on a personal level because I saw the same crap happen before. Just like this. It led to me, leaving the game for a brief time. Trying not to piss on anybodies shoes, god knows a few of my buddies have jumped ship to the other board, which sucks.

EDIT: By the way DMK...This board split into two groups a LONG time ago...I'm surprised you're just noticing that now...Way I see it, nothing has really changed at all... This is a very good point, although I think this board really had three groups, the largest (and unaccounted for in Cat's tally) being the "I really don't care about what's going on with those other two" group.

I was aware that people had formed factions within the board..but I never expected they'd take their ball and go home. Like what someone else says is that big of the deal. These People are so fragile emotionally that anything negative thrown at them shatters them into a thousand tiny pieces with no hope of being put back together.

Maybe people wanted to come here to talk about COTG and wrestling instead of having threads regularly ruined by the same pointless bickering time and time again, DMK. One doesn't have to be "emotionally fragile" to not want to have their posts ruined by message board drama.

One doesn't have to be "emotionally fragile" to not want to have their posts ruined by message board drama. You don't see me leaving. If I can deal with the occasional bickering, anybody can. And the fact that certain people are banned from the new board is an indictment of certain people's obsession or inability to deal and coexist with people they disagree with.
