You know I'm not getting that much hype off posters around the net around the new ufc card, (i keep forgetting it's comming up soon). I wonder if Joe D. actaully has a chance against Matt, that should be pretty good. I can see Jeremy Horn is getting another shot in the Ufc, I wish him luck (hope he keeps it a ground game this time, I wonder what he was thinking trading blows with Chuck, his name isn't Rampage). GSP match looks top notch, the guy he's facing has only lost to Matt Hughs and no one else (I forget his name right now but I saw him fight last monday during ultimate fight night).
After I relized how small the guy was I'd say it's a lock for G. St. Rush, He managed to defeat karo because of his size, and I can't see the new guy having more talent than the Heat. I'm not adressing Rich A. F. Match because it'll take a miracle or a work for Rich not to win, (I mean Diego beating Diaz was a shock but this would be even beyond that).

I almost forgot that MVA/Horn was changed. Horn is now fighting Prangley at 185, which is a better weight for him. I have heard from some people that Horn stands up more for the fact that people have labeled him a boring fighter (I never really got why he got the label), and that is why Horn was only able to get a once-a-while booking with a major MMA company while fighting on smaller shows once a month.
GSP/Sherk is something I am looking forward to. This will be a true test to see if GSP can challenge for the UFC WW Title. Sherk is going to present a bigger challenge than Trigg did. If Sherk can get a takedown early, then GSP's bully-esque striking might not be as effective since he'll be worried about gettng taken down again. If Sherk can't get the takedown, then he will be done in R1. I am predicting GSP, but I think Sherk can pull off the upset if he can take it to the ground.
I never really got Nate saying "Rich has a weak chin", unless he was just trying to hype up the fight. Rich took a good shot from Evan Tanner, but was able to compose himself enough to not get KO'ed. I know Rich got KO'ed by Lyoto Machida, but Machida is also a heavyweight who has great punching power.

I really think that Hughes' next opponent is a gravy match.
What happen to Parysian? I thought he was set to fight Hughes?

I think Matt's next opponent is a better pick in that Karo would have been fun to see him face Matt, he did seem over matched size wize, while there abilities seemed about equal. Joe has punching power.. and I think the key to defeating Matt is in the stand up game.

Some pretty big news about tomorrow's show is that Hughes vs. Riggs will be non-title now. The reason is that Riggs did not make weight by 1 pound the first time he weighed-in, and the next time he weighted in he was actually 2 pounds over. The fight will happen as Hughes camp still accepts the fight, but it will probably be a normal UFC fight under 3 5-minute rounds. Riggs will be fined 10% of his earnings for not making weight.

You should see how bad they beat this subject to death at Sherdog.. There's at least a half dozen threads on the damn thing. I think it opens up the doors for a rematch one way or another (unless Matt flat out owns Joe in record time). If Matt hands Joe his A$$ then no fuss no muss right? If Joe manages to come close we're left wanting more and that'll lead to another great show down. I'm cool with that. The deck feels stacked against Riggs but that's only because he's facing up against a man who's at the top of his weight class. Riggs has had to cut a lot of weight and it's unfortunate that it ended so close but the man is only human. I'm hopping to be surprised tomorrow (and part of me wants to see GSP go down in flames.. not because I hate him, it's just people think he's going to cut right through his opponent.)

I seriously doubt that if Hughes loses, he will complain about Riggs being 2 pounds over.
Hell Huges fights at 190 anyay.
Those guys on the Sherdog forums are really sorry.

Well I saw the ppv.... I can't but help and feel I wanted more some where. But on the up side (Spioler warning)
Tito, Ken and BJ Penn are back baby! I heard a rumor at S dog about Ken and Tito.. but Penn.. my jaw hit the floor. Hay Duce! Give Dana White some credit finally! He got Penn back! (and Tito.. that's pretty out there by itself). You felt that Dana should sqeezed every last drop he could out of Ken and now he is. One last fued with Ken is brewing in the works. And that should be a great season.

Like I said: Riggs= gravy for Hughes. Did Matt even break a sweat?
Too bad about Quarry. I was rooting for him, but knew Franklin would kick his ass.
I am getting new respect for Franklin. He truly is one tough SOB.

I ordered it too, and it was a decent ppv nothing toogreat. Seeing St.Pierre win was great, the announcements were awesome. Ultimate Fighter 3 is gonna be so crazy with those coaches. Franklin's KO of Quarry was absolutely brutal. Can't wait to see a Franklin-Losieau title fight.

If Dana can pull off all of these promisses then he deserves respect... GSP vs. BJ PENN Tito Ortiz vs. Forest Griffin This card is coming.

Now I'm realistic and all and I knew that Nate never had a chance against Franklin.. but I'm really rooting for Forrest. God I would giggle my ass off if Tito went down in flames to a UF kid. I know it's along shot, but hay maybe Tito has a great deal of ring rust.

Forrest is no kid. He fought in the same tournament as Renato Sobral, Jeremy Horn, and Mauricio "Sho-Gun" Rua two years back( Horn KO'd him with a kick). I wouldn't underestimate his ability. He could very well upstage Tito. I think its more of a 50-50 shot. IFC -Global Domination www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?search=yes&eventid=1796

Yeah, Griffin's 2 losses are to Horn and Dan Severn (Griffin's first fight, via decision).
I would certainly take that resume!
When he was talking about having his arm broken and continuing to fight and beat his opponent, I figured he was a tough kid.
Tito does not fare well against top competition.

I caught the ultimate show last monday night, after seeing all that build about Jeremy Horn I'd love to see him fight Babalau.
