He was out! Another bad call. Was it Lugo yesterday that was safe at second and got called out too?

Ok what if he was out, they shouldn't even have been in extra innings because the same blind ump staff took a home run away from the Rockies in the seventh. So the universe is balanced and the gods are happy and all is right unless you're a Padreas fan. ;D
But they're beatin the hell out of the Phillies though! Remember Jim, we''ll see. 2-0 Havok's got it right SWEEP!

Dude you can't even spell Padres OR Havoc. Come on. Got me there, I am probably the worlds worst speller I'll give you that . It's ok though, I know you're just bitter your team lost. Anyway, the Phillies would have crushed your PADRES, we just saved you the embarrassment. ;D

Remember Jim, we''ll see. 2-0 Havok's got it right SWEEP! BTW - My broom has absolutely nothing to do with that series. It has to do with the one that should be wrapping up at about 7:50pm central time today.

Hey, at least you spelled everything right!

who had the record before ? Before getting his record 17th Gold Glove this week, Greg Maddux had been tied at 16 with Brooks Robinson and Jim Kaat.

Congratulations to Las Vegan Greg Maddux! One day after resigning with the Padres, Maddux today won his 17th Gold Glove which breaks the record for the most Gold Gloves of all time. I love the Mad Dog as much as anyone else does, but he's nowhere near the fielder he used to be. I think that he gets the award as much on reputation as anything else these days ... especially since pitcher can be an awfully difficult position to judge fielding aptitude at.
