wow...i don't think Holiday got any piece of the plate at all.
Here is what i told my wife...the only good thing about the rockies making the playoffs is that i might get to see one or two more games this year depending on how long they hang in there. I am really hoping the beat the Phillies and get to face the Cubs...i will be there if that happens. And if by some chance these guys make it to the Series, i will be going for sure...not every year you are in a town in the Series. And if hey are playing the Angels it will be great!
hard to say it, but the Rockies have really played some good ball and deserve to get in.
AND MOST IMPORTANT...don't have to hear about the pukos in the news!

Great game.
It sucks that the ump blew the call on the winning run, though.
I think COL would've won eventually as they had other men on base and only 1 out but you never know.
Big comeback by the Rockies.

Yeah, it was a flawed call....but human error is human error. The Rockies deserve the wild card.

Let us also keep in mind that the Rockies may have lost a home run on that double that hit off (or above) the yellow line in center field.

I'm all for replay in football, but hope they don't add it to baseball.....we don't need another reason to drag out baseball games. They get long as it is. |

The replay of the play at home would've been inconclusive. With the dirt flying and Barrett's foot partially raised you could not tell whether he absolutely did or did not touch home.
If there is anyone in Texas, please check in on Knapik to make sure he's OK.

aquinas the decision should be left to the umpires only.not by replay.

well too bad Knapik. Who would have thought both our teams would be behind the rockies and d'backs. Did you see those hats and shirts? "wild card champions". Um i thought Colorado got made fun of 11 years ago for this. There is no wild card "champion". What about these celebrations too? Give me a break. 8 teams get in the playoffs and they all act like the won the World Series. you don't see this in football.
