Attention Moderators, It has come to my attention that this thread is full of hilarious jokes and witty banter all directed squarely at me. Since we established a long time ago that a sense of humor and the ability to laugh at ones self is unacceptable on these boards, I demand immediate bans be levied against MFT, CC, and DMK. And LWPD, because even though he didn't participate in this thread, he goes by initials also. Guilty by association brother. If these guys are not swiftly and severly punished, I shall be forced to delete my account, but not until I buy a pair of jeans from Swarm. That is all. Goodzilla loves Ed Davis and the Soulwatcher is their love child!

Getting back to the topic at hand (no puny intended...teehee)... 300 was awesome! Loved the Persian temptresses...swing..."tell me your secrets baby" they would say...I would reply...."well when I was 3, I had an accident in my pants...when I was 4...and so on...."
Oh man, they were hot!

I saw 300 and it lived it to the hype for me. I had see the original the 1952 version. A cool flick when I saw it back around 1980 and that movie had me lovin history.
I have read a few of the books and I bought the Miller books when they came out. If you liked 300 and the story, you should look up Xenophon. It is another true story about a Athenian army going to battle in Persia. The Persians called a truce and asked all the Greek officers to come to a peaceful meeting, the Persians then killed all the Greek officers hoping the Greek army would fall into disarray and be easily delt with. To make a long story short a soldier Xenophon stepped up took command and marched the army back home.
