Damn it!
I wanted to see this movie last night, but at the theater my girl pulled the switcharoo and wanted to see Wild Hogs instead. I guess she heard a rumor that 300 wasn't really a chick flick.
Wild Hogs was alright, I guess .... but .....
I think I'm gonna have to end this relationship and find myself a KC.

Ive been wanting to see it and am trying not to read or listen to too much bla about it. I didnt even read most of the posts on this thread. But I did see something about Riddick. I drew him a couple years ago and never got a good idea or background for the art... he is laying around somewhere with some of the other art not doing anything and they should be in the COTG universe! I might have some free to time to sell some of my art if there are interested parties.

Very funny Trav! My brother was making fun of me last night too. Here's the joke he told .... "Did you guys hear that when Andy came home from work yesterday he found his girlfriend packing all her stuff into a taxi. She was so upset she was shaking.
He went up to her and said 'baby, what's wrong?'
Between her sobs she said 'I'm leaving you!!!'
With a bewlidered look on his face he asked "why, baby why?"
And she said "because I just found out you're a pedophile you sick F&*K!!!!!"
Then Andy looked at her and said, "woah.......... that's a pretty big word for a 9 year old." .................... yeah, my brother's an jerk. Edit: I should probably mention that I'm not actually a pedophile. Everyone has been making fun of me because the girl I've been talking to is 9 years younger than me. (And no, I'm not 22) But I say screw you guys, you bunch of jealous hicks. |

after seeing this and comparing it to COTG...I really want to see a new GWF guy with ties to the ancient times...more of a warrior though not just a wrestler like Actagon, Proteus and Heracles. Someone who was bred to be a fighter. Good call on Riddick, Osk i can definitely see ties with the worlds of Riddick and aCe I had always wanted to do a Roman Gladiator but could never find a good enough reference pic. Luckily last night I came across a historical minature of one and picked it up. Its the classic gladiator (face mask, 1-arm chain mail, etc). So the art should be coming sooner or later. Was thinking of a Pancration (sp?) move set since the art was formed there...or maybe Im wrong..lol. |

Lucas Arts game that is pretty cool and has all the different types of Roman Gladiators, just mentioning it because I am sure you may be able to find cool ref pics for the different forms of fighters and they would make cool bootlegs. Just an FYI if ya feel like taking the time to surf around and try to find em'. GOOD GAME too. |

Gladius was all right!
It got kind of boring towards the end, but it was pretty good.
A good Spartan based game is God of War. That game friggin' rocks!

Since we established a long time ago that a sense of humor and the ability to laugh at ones self is unacceptable on these boards, I demand immediate bans be levied against MFT, CC, and DMK.
