every show sold out here... made it to the 10:35. Really fantastic film. Ending was unexpected and awesome like Matt said. THey could have called the movie "300 One-Liners", but every one-liner is killer! 4 stars!

Totally psyched to see this, regardless of mixed critical reviews. Trying to catch it in IMAX, actually.
If anyone's interested, Rotten Tomatoes rated as only a 61% (83 "fresh reviews"/53 "rotten reviews").
The general consensus from RT was: "A simple-minded but visually exciting experience, full of blood, violence, and ready-made movie quotes."
F*ck it, I'm still gonna see it...and probably love it.

Wow, it's on IMAX? That would be AWESOME. Yeah, it's also on IMAX over here in Las Vegas. When I went to see 300 last night, I just went to the theater at the casino (Green Valley Ranch) that is closest to where I live at. But I think I might go see it again- but this time on IMAX.

after seeing this and comparing it to COTG...I really want to see a new GWF guy with ties to the ancient times...more of a warrior though not just a wrestler like Actagon, Proteus and Heracles. Someone who was bred to be a fighter.
Good call on Riddick, Osk i can definitely see ties with the worlds of Riddick and aCe
