As far as nonsense goes, I think Neily just about won, but he seems to fall short on the follow through with every post. Almost funnny.....almost funnny...nope. Lost me. Move on.

This post makes no sense. OK, let me explain it to you then. I'm surprised I have to, you seem like a pretty bright guy. You want me to worry more about myself and less about what you post. Yet you were the one who took a shot at me and Splattercat because we didn't share your opinion. I reply but yet I need to stop worry about what you post. Really it's quite simple. Why the need to play stupid? My apologies, do you prefer Brokeback?? Anyone who has a different opinion should "Go away". I wasn't aware that only your opinion was allowed on this board? My post wasn't a shot at you at all. My post was light hearted in the fact that you guys can have some lengthy posts occasionally, and that you guys actually do read those really long posts, whereas many of us do not. That's all it was. I really don't care what you call me because whatever name you wanna throw is another futile attempt to make yourself look cool and get more attention. Maybe we should start calling you Britney. ;D

Sweet. A new bday party one I see. The self-inflicted DDT is still my fav. Reminds me of Wraith from GWF. That's what it would look like if he went invisible and ddt'd someone. Dude who are these kids? Thanks for the kind words earlier too, Rater R.

but as splattercat suggested, you have turned me off of actually enjoying this forum. I can only hope this has been read by the admins who might say "wow...our loyal fans just managed to turn new money away" This is another ridiculous post trying to "get people in trouble" for disagreeing with you. Nobody cares when people say "I'm not playing the game because of you." That is lame. Nothing anyone ever said could EVER make me stop playing this game. I know you said you just didn't like the forum but it's the same sentiment. Word. If you stop playing the best game around because someone called you out on your BS... then you're a weak mother effer.

Are you ever going to explain more about how this game is played this thread is only ten pages long seriously First off, this isn't my thread. Second, I think Swarm/Payback's point about people not reading long posts can be expanded to say people don't read 10 page threads. Quick answer, see page 7. Long Answer, First, you make a couple wrestlers. still with me? Good so far, then take a couple dice each, Then roll both dice and look at your card to see if you attack or defend, Then you either attack or defend by rolling on a table on the back where you filled in your moves, or a table on the front where you put in your defensive moves. You then accumulate points and do it all over again and again until one or the other is pinned, disqualified, counted out or injured, just like wrestling. There is no predetermined storyline, I do have to come up with the ideas myself. I had a tag team match between the Can-Am connection and a couple no name guys I made. Zenk was in and tagged out like a coward with his first move and sent in Martel who ran in and dropkicked the other guy (based on the Big Boss Man) out of the ring and resulting in a count out. I tried to save the match by rolling on an option card called Outside interference, but the BBM's partner turned on him and gave him a piledriver into the ring stairs. My no name Tag Team was then broken up and I just had to give Martel and the angry guy a match with the BBM as a special ref. I've had quick fights and long fights. This particular little feud lasted for two more events, then petered out. I know people want to 'see results' but we do it all in person with our pencils and dice at a table. Nobody I play this (or any other RPG) with puts it on a website. I am going to join their email league with whoever else jumps in over there, I can put the results here, but would probably get 'Swarm'ed again. (a joke Swarm, take it easy if you read this far) I can't make it any clearer than that. I like it because I find it fun, it allows me to play with people or alone, and lets me advance my wrestlers with a points spending system based on their win loss record. I don't care if any of you like it, hate it, buy it or don't. All I've ever asked is what people are basing their opinions on, but all I hear is 'crappy art' and 'geeky belt'. I don't mind the lack of art, and I am geeky enough (I did make the Can-Am connection my headliner tag team) to take a crack at the belt, even if they send me a replica, it's cheaper than buying one, but if they send me a foam thing from Toys R Us, I'm going to be pissed. Of course I have to win it first. I was asked not to scan pictures in, but the tournament program has the cards right in it. The real cards are full sheets and don't have any of the extra stuff the program has, but page 2 and 3 is the card, except the program has the logo as a background and the real card has a face that makes photocopying hard. I didn't come in here to pick fights about what game is better, I don't know which game is better, I'm new to both. I also do find this place intimidating since you've all been at it for so long and I havn't. I'm not whining, a strong community proves there's something to this game, thats really cool, but I've been attacked from all sorts of angles since coming in here; whoops, I made a mistake and challenged someone to explain themselves. bad on me for trying to engage in discussions! I sent some weak jabs out myself though, so can't claim innocence. I'm done with this thread, thanks for all the links to these other games. I do intend to check some of them out further and see if I can find 'the best game'. CoTG is cool, but not really my thing. When I get LoW in my greedy hands, I'll let you know what I think of it. I'm not giving up on CoTG though, just need to spend more time figuring it all out. I apologize for the petty stuff I got into with some of you, those who still think I'm serving some alterior motive can lick my (fill in the preferred body part)! If you want to know more, ask someone else.

BTW - I think "my" quote in vunderbar's sig is actually a quote from Swarm.

Getting back on topic to the game itself... I think its pretty cheesy that their selling a game with only rules and no characters is pretty lame... even RPG books (which is what this sounds like more than a dice game like CoTG) give you example characters, NPCs, and a story or two.

Look makers of this crappy game sorry if we think it sucks. See, I thought it was Swarm that said this. Good job vunderbar in making it look like I said it. Pretty neat trick, I gotta admit.

Allright. I've stayed quiet for quite some time. It's one thing to try and promote a new product on a discussion board dedicated to the competitor. It's another thing to pretend you're just a gamer when you're most likely the creator and / or marketing the game. It's another thing to get Swarm and Splattercat yelling at each other, or even get Payback and Havoc yelling at each other again(okay that was bound to happen anyway - that's not your fault). It's also another thing to write out long, long, long posts that make Hegemony posts look like Neily posts. I'm even okay with you spelling funny with 3 N's, but don't make fun of Neilybob. Leave Neily alone!!! Seriously, if you love the other game(s) and are loyal to it, and happy with it... than I am happy for both of you! You're entitled to your opinion. However, if you're going to try and insult our intellegence that you're not marketing this product on a discussion board dedicated to it's competitor, COTG, then please stop and don't waste our time. I'll keep my opinion about your game to myself so I don't hurt anyone's feelings. If you're going to market a game and look to get success, best of luck to you. However, please keep it off these boards. I don't believe Tom, Chris, Mark, Tournament Master or anyone else working with COTG go on discussion boards dedicated to a competitor and try to sell COTG. I ask that you don't either. Thank you, and have a nice day
