It seems so schoolyard in here, the only thing I havn't heard yet is "my dad can beat up your dad". ... sort of sounds like ... I've been asked to show why I like it, well maybe show me why you don't like it Swarm has repeatedly told you why he doesn't like it. He's called you out and you still haven't showed us anything or told us anything else about it. So can we get it over now. Show us or tell us more or just go away.

Show us or tell us more or just go away. Actually, he just finally got around to speaking in sane tones with that last post, and I have to say, he finally makes sense. As far as 'calling me out', Umm, what would he have to 'call me out' about? I'm inclined to agree with him that the artwork is lacking, and without putting up pics (I was asked not to) I can say the cards don't have pictures like CoTG. The only thing they have is rolling areas for your moves. Their cards look almost like these, pws.berlios.de/actioncard.htmlbut two sided. Gameplay is very similar too, but more simple. (I even tried to make a guy with the PWS program developer.berlios.de/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1098to see if it would fit the BNG system, but it really doesn't). Havoc, I asked their guy Havok if he was you in a pm. He didn't respond so I didn't know one way or the other. I did make that assumption at first, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

again you proved my point by missing it...you keep saying replica...a replica can be bought for 300 yes, but they aren't giving a replica away...why can't you understand that...?... as to making posts shorter because nobody reads them...you read them.... but as splattercat suggested, you have turned me off of actually enjoying this forum. I can only hope this has been read by the admins who might say "wow...our loyal fans just managed to turn new money away" Good. Don't buy the game. Guess what...I earned a 22k check last month I'll just send Tom 2k to make up for every time you or some other loser plays this card. You are clearly the guy who made that stupid belt with how you contiinue to defend it like a child. Replica - real - foam whatever - it's a stupid belt. No one here wants it. We want to see the game and how it's played. Unless your next post is pics of the game cards or fed results you're wasting your time. No one here is going to put down COTG to play the pile of monkey crap we see in that link for your game just to win that lame looking belt you made. Time to put up or shut up belt boy. now I'm the guy who made the belt...I'm dave millican?...swwwweeettt....lol...oh, sorry, lol's aren't allowed here.

Well, the links provided seem to be SPW links, but I also looked around on the BNG site from a link I found somewhere in this thread. The SPW looks like poor quality to me. Hard to figure out the gameplay. Seems to be just past wrestlers too. CotG already has that in LOW and CotG version is better, that's not hard to see. The other one, BNG, is extremely awful. I already have blank wrestler cards if I choose to make a wrestler and I already have match types and I can create my own match types that CotG does not have because it's easy to do so with the CotG system. That's all I see there, why I would pay for that. It seems to play like RPG's but that doesn't interest me. I guess if you are onto RPG's that's cool but I'm into wrestling. Original wrestling and that's where CotG comes in. There's really no comparison here. There's a reason CotG has been number one for all these years and the proof is easy to see.

I'm pretty sure Swarm and Co. where asking for examples from 'Blood n Gutz' or whatever... we've all (pretty much, anyway) seen and probably tried SPW... that's been around in one form or another for 20+ years.

I can surely speak to the similarities between COTG and SPW. I have both, have played both extensively . I happen to know that the two are nothing a like. SPW uses full size cards...real people from real federations...two d6's...and no story lines...COTG uses fake futuristic wrestlers...from created federations...and one d6 ea. If it's a matter of what is it more like, without seeing the damn thing i'd have to say SPW...they outright state you make your own guys on their site...the cards as described by vunderbar are full sized....what it the concern. Either way it wouldn't matter if it was similar. Anyone remember a company in the 60's/70's and early 80's (name escapes me) that did 2 minute commercials, selling products that were already invented, but they made them better...it isn't a crime people...dice games are dice games...lol...there isn't much you can change...

As for you wondering why people seem to be on your case around here and thinking you created this game, that's easy to see as well. After posts by such as KevinK and WTIC Promoter (who are highly respected and thought of guys around our parts) telling us this game looks bad and is not worth the cost, you jumped in and defended it. If guys like these 2 are telling us 'Hey I saw this and it looked bad' , you can bank on it that it's true. Then there is you, fairly new here defending it so tightly. That makes you look like you created it. Whether or not this is your game, I could care less. If you did, I'm sorry but almost all of us don't like it . If you didn't that's fine too, but we don't buy in to this other game you play. So if you're staying around I'd suggest quit defending this crapfest ( and I'm being nice here) or expect to continue getting it from some of these guys and for me start.

Actually gamelover CotG can be split into categories. We have the GWF univers, which you refer to when talking about the futuristic characters. There is also LOW. It has real wrestlers from the past. Game cards use the same system I know. How the storylines go, if there are any, I'm not for sure but you can find out more in the LOW section. I play the GWF. Within the GWF world is also the CPC and ACE which both have connections with the GWF in some way.

Man I don't even have this crapfest yet...i came in this post to ask about it, vunderbar seemed to be the only one who had it, i asked him a question or two, then found myself being accused of making this game and the belt....lol.. seriously...I thought coming to the forum would be fun. I bought this game (Cotg) back in 1991...long before most here I am sure of that...I rebought 5 months ago because i craved it...and yes i bought low too...but i didn't expect the immaturity of insecure little boys... guess what, when i get my blood game...if i like it i will play it...if i don't, oh well...i have never bashed cotg...or low...i flat out praise spw because it just rules (just my thing)... I can't waste anymore of my time on this thread...i better not...i was threatened...

I get that you don't have it yet gamelover and that you were just asking questions. So were others here. The problem is there are no answers.

Heys guys so I did some digging around earlier today and just got an email telling me that at least gamelover works for this thing. His *other name* is BNGMaster and he made the game, which explains a lot. Nice try but I will not be buying this game. In fact I will tell everyone I know who likes wrestling and games in mass email to NOT buy this game. It's looks like crap, looks like it plays like crap, and from what my source tells me you have to make all the wrestlers yourself...? Lame.
Sorry but this is just another pile a crap from someone trying to make a buck. In closing, you have to be pretty gay to want that belt.
Props to Knapik for figuring out first these guys (or at least one of them) were the owners.

Yeah, when I checked out their "discussion board" over there I noticed how similar gamelover and BNGMaster's posting styles were. They both use constant "lols" and use alot of ..... throughout their posts. Sometimes BNG Master will make a post and 2 minutes later gamelover answers it. Without them even offering us a chance to see what their game looks like, that place has completely lost credibility with me.

Did Knapik get a picture of these 2 as well. I know this guy who has a sig bar where they would fit in perfect. Perhaps a pic with their title belt.
