I checked the link out...looks cool enough...I will join the forum and see what I can get for info...will probably buy this one too...lol...

SPW is Superstar ProWrestling Game...it was back in the 80's and awesome...i had the NWA version that came with16 guys (i might have chosen differnt guys) and a steel cage match, rules, etc...was $19.99 i think back then...but i logged thousands of hours on this one....lol...was before i found cotg...
i ended up (like most ) making my own set of guys and had a few hundred when i was done...much like cotg, eveyone with their bootlegs and all...
I haven't seen this brainbuster yet, but i posted in the bloodngutz forum today and the guy who made brainbuster posted there...maybe he is here too...i am waiting to get a reply from him to see wha his is like.

Looks more roleplaying that COTG format. Man, that gives me flash backs to the WWF roleplaying game from White Publishing back in the early 90's. That was one of the weirdest RPGs I ever bought. Then for some reason I bought the Comic Images D20 WWE RPG too. . .

Ok...I'll be the test subject (and sucker for new material)...lol...I just ordered a package off of them, I got one called The Works and Tourny. They say it should take 10 days to arrive (i asked because they post 4-6 weeks delivery on the site) and I will miss the cut off for the January tourny, but they emailed me and asked for my shirt size as they are sending me one free to show appreciation.
I am eager to try this...as long as it doesn't cut into my cotg time...lol...or spw....lol...or...

For those into Wrestling RPGs, Eden Studios' All flesh Must Be eaten has a sourcebook out called Zombie Smackdown...It's got a lot of fun in it...I mean really, If Rey Mysterio got turned into a Zombie, do you think he'd be as slow as slow as the other shamblers..? Hell no...Picture a Masked Zombie doing a suicide plancha off a building into a terrified crowd of fleeing food... The opposite end is, how do you kill a zombie..? Crush the brain of course...Best way to crush a zombie's brain..? Piledrive his a**...!!!! ;D Anyway, I guess you have to be a wrestling, RPG and Zombie fan (or at least two of the above) to really enjoy it...But really...Wrestlers and Zombies...Zombie Khali anyone..?

Eden Studios eh? I have never heard of them...do they do a lot of RPG's? I might have to try them, not really into the zombie thing but if the game is cool and play runs well, what the hell.

They ae a smaller RPG company which uses their own Unisystem...Basically the way the system works is, roll a D10, add any modifiers, if you get 9 or higher it's a success, the higher you get over 9 means greater success...The system on a whole is very nice and fits virtually any genre...In addition they have a lighter rules set (Unisystem-lite or Cinematic) for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Army of Darkness ("Gimme some sugar baby.")...The cinematic rules work so well that people have converted other systems to it as well, such as Farscape (a D20 game)... Their main game is All Flesh Must Be Eaten (their dedicated Zombie game, which has books featuring other zombie settings, such as "Pulp Zombie", "Enter the Zombie", "Dungeons and Zombies", "All Tomorrow's Zombies" a forthcoming "Arr, Thar Be Zombies" and the aforementioned Zombie Smackdown Aside from the Zombies there is Witchcraft (basically Eden's 'Beyond the Supernatural' or 'World of Darkness') Armageddon (near-futuristic conflict setting featuring magic/psychic humans, Gods, Angels and hybrids therein facing off against the forces of Leviathan, an extradimensional force of corruption similar to H.P. Lovecraft's Old Ones) Conspiracy X (X-files style game) Terra Primate (Mutant animals and such, especially monkeys and Apes, as in Planet of the-) Check it out at www.edenstudios.net

I'm a sucker for RPG's of all variety. Favorites as far as Wrestling go are, FTTM, SuperStar Pro (a knockoff called Pro Wrestling Superstar on the web), and I even bought this Blood'N'Gutz to get into their online tournaments for that belt after meeting the creator (I live in Calgary where they operate). I have to say that the product they gave me is pretty decent quality, despite what people seem to be thinking. I got the basic set which is a binder with the rule set, the listed special cards and a bunch of Blank wrestling cards. I got together with the usual group and we had a blast once we figured out the system to build guys. We went with an early nineties WWF federation, made the more popular guys and set up a PPV type event. I think I'm going to order more of their Wrestler cards and do a more modern TNA/WWE crossover soon...bring the new and old together. It was a discussion on their forum that I read about CoTG and got to searching it out which brings me here. I'm surprised I never heard of CoTG before, seems to be one of the bigger ones. I'm looking into ordering this game as well, spending more time on the forums and seeing what its all about. Well if you think that pile of crap game is a "blast" you'll probably lose your freaking mind playing COTG. Compare it discovering fillet-mignon after years of eating hot garbage. No not even hot garbage but the hot garbage juice that drips from the bags in the hot sun and maggots are all up in it and maybe some dog came by and took a leak all over it and it smells a lot like a nine week old rotting monkey - that's what that game is compared to COTG.

Well if you think that pile of crap game is a "blast" you'll probably lose your freaking mind playing COTG. Compare it (to) discovering fillet-mignon after years of eating hot garbage. No not even hot garbage but the hot garbage juice that drips from the bags in the hot sun and maggots are all up in it and maybe some dog came by and took a leak all over it and it smells a lot like a nine week old rotting monkey - that's what that game is compared to COTG. I'm confused too, which game are you referring to? Your Rotting Monkey is intriguing though... I do have CoTG now, it was the reason I joined the forum. It's interesting, and quite similar to the others, but of course they all seem to have their own individual benefits and differences that make them stand out. I love the box CoTG came in, and the futuristic aspect is definitely unique, but lose my mind? No. I also recently bought Kayfabe from Errant Knight, and its so much like the old RPG's (like D&D) that I can't convince anybody to try it with me! Lots of prep work involved in playing it, but really detailed and cool illustrations in their book. Now checking out Eden Studios, looks promising, thanks for the link! Anyone else played anything good?

lol...I just bought the Kayfabe one a week ago, then got the email with the download thing. But I gotta say I agree...It does say right in the rules, I think on page one or two that you need at least 3 people to play, so for me it really is a no go...I travel too much with my job and need a game I really can do alone most of the time.
I do like Kayfabe, but it was just too detailed in the RPG build up...and there was a section all on steroids...lol...it just seemed like a lot of paper in the end. I like the over all idea of it, very creative, but really all stuff we can do here at cotg if you are even a little creative.
...so i guess my list of currents needs updating...lol...COTG/LOW/SPW/Kayfabe/...and soon (hopefully) Bloodngutz...
Vunderbar...how long have you been doing the blood one?

I got BloodNGutz last ...September? I think I got it right when they released it. Its one of the better systems I've tried. Me and the guys are trying all these different games trying to find one thats catchy and quick enough to do if we get together short notice. Both the BnG and CoTG are good for it, but we're more into the classic wrestlers. I haven't ordered LoW yet, but wish I'd bought it instead of CoTG for the sake of having the real guys instead of the SciFi angle. To each his own though. You getting into the BnG Tournament Gamelover? They have belt pictures on the site now www.bloodngutz.com/Prizes.htm and www.bloodngutz.com/BeltShowcase.htmWe should do an email PPV with the Tournament program, might be fun! Send me a PM if you're interested.
