I do have a question about he pts though for you guys. It appears you get some "rebate" points for the purchase of certain games. How does that work? Is it only for DS games and you upload or are there some Wii games as well that come packaged with points? ? That's news to me...

so is the wii better then other systems or not ? I think that largely depends on what you're looking for out of the systems and what kind of games you like to play. If you want an inexpensive system that's easy to pick up and have fun with, the Wii's an excellent choice. If you want something with higher definition graphics and better online capabilities, you want to look towards a PS3 or a 360.

I was tired of playing the same old way, the Wii brings a new way to play... I can't wait for these two games to come out, ANIMAL CROSSING and FIFA SOCCER '08. IMO it's a worth while system, buts that my view.

Does that involve those codes you get with the game that are meant to be typed into the Nintendo Club site?

What i meant to say was do you get pts from the purchase of games or do you have to buy them outright?

You have to buy them outright. You still get star points from the games and consoles but their only for the star catalogue, which I believe is pointless until they let you convert stars into Wii points.

And before this confuses anyone, "Star Points" don't exist in the US. This is PAL (Europe)-only thing, I believe, although it could very well exist in Japan too.
