Nah. It's for my daughter for Christmas. Though I did manage an extra remote and nunchuck for the multi-player games.
I found a post on Amazon.com that had some shipment dates in it.
Best Buy- December 17th: Walmart- December 6th: EB Games/Gamestop- December 8th: Target- December 10th: Circuit City- December 10th: Toys'R'Us- December 10th:
I knew UPS hit our Gamestop between 10:30 and 11:00 from past experiences. So, I strolled over about 10:40 and was 5th out of 6 to get one.
I am most excited just for the sheer amount of energy I put into this. I can finally close this chapter.

grats Paul that must be very relieving to finally get that stress done. Interesting that you walked in and not very many people were there waiting. Like I said our gamestop got 6 as well yesterday, but people were lining up at 5-6 a.m. for the 10-11:00 shipment. grats man.

I got my [glow=red,2,300]Wii [/glow]today and it's so freakin' freakin' awesome! I had to wait for 13 hrs to get one at EB Games but it was worth the wait. The WiiSports game that is included even kicks ass (especially the boxing game). Highly recommended. Nintendo has really outdone itself with it's gaming innovations in recent years and I hope that this is the start of Nintendo's big comeback and not their last hoorah.

that's pretty sweet. i hope they keep that updated regularly as I'll keep checking back. I was out of town last week and i picked up zelda for GC today so my Wii anticipation has waned, but I'd still pick one up if i found one.

I don't believe any games currently out are online competitive. The first such title will probably be Pokemon Battle Revolution, but that uses a more DS-oriented approach than, say, whatever Mario Kart game will eventually be given to Wii.

One of these days people are going to be able to get into multiple player franchise on-line leagues on Madden and that is the day I will pee my pants with excitement.

I missed ONE heart piece, and I think it was in Zant's castle. Also: I think three bugs went uncaptured; I know one of the dayflies in the desert was driving me mad. I didn't so much "miss" the forg lure as I went "to hell with this!" once I reached stage 6 or 7 and abandoned it.

You're not alone; demand is still outpacing supply at the moment.
