Heya Ty...Hmm...I actually got on no problem, I was waiting more for them to put the servers back up than for the download...I understand Dial-up would be a pain though, the Download size is in the low Gigs, but even then, you should be able to get a decent speed out of it...There's a chance that it is actually download volume...I know I had that problem with Issue 6, and I was pi***d about it...
I'm so not a tech guy, so I can't really say how to proceed...I hope you do get on soon though...If it is indeed volume, it should have cleared up by now, or should soon at least...
Let me know though...Issue 8 was worth waiting for in my opinion, and the complaints about bugs are not yet apparent in my experience...Like I said, I hope you get in soon...

I hit the internet cafe yesterday and got the game downloaded in less than an hour. So I'm back playing. I did find a bug in a mission, six of us cleared a building but couldn't find the last bomb to disarm. It was timed so I failed that one, no xp bonus.

Aww... that sucks... Glad you're playing again though...Check out Faultline when you get the chance...Can't remember offhand how to get there except through pocket D (Kings Row, it's a little sewer entrance through the corridors)... There are a few other glitches that I've seen but none serious so far...Invisible Ice in the Frostfire Missions, and my level 50 Stone tank keeps losing his Granite Form animation (meaning he still has Granite on, but he looks normal)... Overall though, I'm a huge fan of issue 8...  |

Haven't gone to Faultline yet. Have been reading some on the boards about lots of bugs and problems, most of which seem centered in Faultline. I made a new defender today to run around with a friend of mine who is using the free trial I gave him. My new girl's name is Ultra Help! He doesn't think he will keep playing though.

I am gonna start this game back up as an alternative to my Lord of the Rings Online fixation (I am only 8k xp from lvl 36, and I now have a horse!!).
Anyways....I will be on the Pinnacle server.

I have got my defender Ultra Help up to lvl 50. First character I've done that with. I'm close to hanging it up though, just isn't keeping my interest even with issue 10 out now and the alien invasion stuff. I should at least try out the other types I haven't played yet before quiting. I haven't made a Controller for heroes and a Mastermind, Stalker or Brute in villains.
