I actually never had a problem with Jarrett myself, as a wrestler or a owner/booker.

The only match I really like was Joe v. Angle, but the ending sucked IMO. Rahl Funny, I didn't know Joe was wrestling Angle again.

Fat Joe loses when Christian puts his feet on the ropes and pins him. Bad match. Bad show. Terrible as usual. This makes me cry.

I find that if you claim you hate something yet obsess over it every chance you can, you secretly love it.

I'm just saying, for something you despise so much and find nothing good to say about, I think you post about TNA more than anybody.

Just an observation. I think you harbor love for TNA, especially Samoa Joe and his man-teats.

Joe vs Cage seemed to be the only match worth anything but really, it seems like they're never going to pull the trigger on a Joe title reign.

Joe vs Cage seemed to be the only match worth anything but really, it seems like they're never going to pull the trigger on a Joe title reign. From a creative standpoint...after a lengthy mega push, an undefeated streak, multiple X Division title reigns and a considerable amount of television time...'as is' the 'Samoan Submission Machine/Joe's Gonna Kill You' SJ has equaled little in the way of ratings increases or PPV Buys (other than the initial Angle debut). I doubt his main event title match with Christian last night was a home run either. His failure to translate hasn't been for lack of opportunity. For the past year he's been given more air and mic time than just about anyone on the show. He's talented in the ring and has a niche following...but it's meant nothing to the bottom line. It's easy to just blame the booking...but that's ultimately a cop out. The writing will always be what it is...a true talent finds a way to make it work....and Joe just hasn't been a very good return on investment. Given his background I seriously doubt Vince Russo sees much in him. When Fat Joe came out last night he had him do a 'Samoan Dance' entrance. Now that VR is starting to job him out more frequently...don't be shocked to see him completely 'repackaged'....either as more of an 'ethnic' Umaga type Samoan...or maybe even Rikishi style (with dancing, the stink face, etc.) The change can't be any worse from a 'results' standpoint than what he already is.
LWPD (a few weeks back during a Kevin Nash segment they showed a muscular 'cut' Samoa Joe Doll...if TNA marketing was truly 'proud' of him...then why not truly and honestly represent his pear shaped body type?)

The joe vs. Cage match was actually really good...Christian got his a**kicked...joe beat the holy hell out of him, and Christian outsmarted him at every possible turn...My particular favorite was when he made joe kick the ref in the face, and then without missing a beat, he jumped right out of the ring and grabbed a chair... By the way...The ending..? Bret Hart vs. Roddy Piper, Wrestlemania VIII....Look it up...Christian obviously did... EDIT: Of course that also means that Joe didn't actually lose, since, like Piper, he was controlling Christian in an offensive hold and the ref shouldn't have counted Joe's shoulders down...Not that it matters...just saying..

What? Where is that written? If your shoulders are on the mat, and the ref counts to 3.........you lose.

Funny, I was started watching the history of the WWE championship DVD, and they did that same finish with Ivan Koloff Vs. Pedro Morales... I wonder if that was the first time it was done?

What? Where is that written? If your shoulders are on the mat, and the ref counts to 3.........you lose. Not really written...A little tidbit from the Roddy piper DVD...Piper had Hart in the sleeper so the ref should have been checking to see if Bret was going out instead of checking Piper's shoulders... Kinda like, if say Tazz had someone in the Tazzmission, but was on his back instead of his side, the ref should be checking on the guy getting choked to death rather than seeing if the guy applying the hold is in a pinning predicament... I forget how Piper actually worded it, but it was pretty much his excuse to duck his only pinfall loss...Seemed valid enough...

All I know is that Piper lost to Hart and Fat Joe lost to Christian. I know because I watched the matches.
