Who would of thought Jesus and Sting could cause so much controversy. When I saw the bit I didn't think anything of it. Never gave it a second thought. Goes to show you how sensitve people can be.
As far as keeping religion out of wrestling, I don't see the problem with it persay. Depending on the context it is used and how it's pulled off, it can be good. Negative or positive. People tend to look at that sort of thing as an attack on their belief when thats not always the case. if you don't have a problem with the violence and foul language that are inherently part of wrestling, you shouldn't have a problem with the use of religion.
The ECW mock crucifixtion thing, when I saw it, didn't bother me at all. In fact i thought that whole scenerio fit with the Raven gimmick, so I wasn't offended. Although I know some people were.

well i fell a sleep reading this thing.let Sting praise GOD if he wants.heck im proud of the mans values!TNA is now the only wrestling i watch these days because the big "E" just totally turn me from wrestling again.TNA is the best thing going.clear black and white lines.good guys and bad guys no strippers,gay tag teams,no Vince! STING is showing my kids that you dont have to run with the pack and give up your morals.Heck thats why Kurt has joined TNA. think about it.he was going to start his juorny with ecw they played with GOD he left to wwe.later down the line he finds himself in an new ecw and they where playing with GOD and the man had the guts to say no thank you!notice how ecw no longer doing that GOD gimmick.basicly they just do it to alienate christian wrestlers.vince tried it with Shawn but Shawn was convicted to stay .But maybe GOD sent Kurt to TNA to help STING get over and help save alot of wrestlers from doing that 80's let drink and do drugs and have kids we dont know about thing.I SAY LET STING PRAISE JESUS AND GET OF HIS BACK. so um i did not mean to sound tong and cheak but thats the way i feel about.GO COLTS GO STING,SHAWN,AJ,KURT AND GOOOOOOOOO JESUS. LETS GO JESUS(CLAP-CLAP-CLAPCLAPCLAP.) that's all fine and good but what happens when Sting goes heel and your kid(s) start asking you why "Jesus made Sting bad?" let's not forget it's Russo who is writing this crap, not Sting. |

and if he does i'll bet the whole darn farm that he'll ouit before he drags the name Jesus into the gutter.but we'll have to wait and see if man does what man does for ratings.thats why i play LOW AND COTG AND BOOTLEG FEDS.If he does do the wrong thing my kids still can say Daddy wont do that.and thats why i play COTG. in my fed you'll never see an true face turn like you see on tv.and all and all HEY GUYS IT JUST TV.
does anyone know that its JUST TV and nothing more and nothing less.i watch what my kids watch.if i my kids cant watch it i wont .if you like or hated wrestling has changed. i dont like it but i learn to live with it.

I know it's just TV but if you've ever been to a live wrestling event you know a lot of people don't...and not everyone probably raises thier kids as well as you do...

well the only live events i ever go to are the indys.i used to go to the pros and they wasnt all that good.ECW was back in Jan.of 99 that ppv rocked Super Crazy and Tijiri fell on me.RVD wife sat right next to me when her husband came out to wrestle.RVD kissed her and looked at me and my friend and said"whats up leve?".i was shocked that he new my name.later that evening my friend Joel said we were going to the waffel house to meet up withRVD.little did i know my friend knew RVD,Little Guiedo ,Super Nova and Jericho from an Danzig consert 3 years before and they are good friends and the tickets he had scored was from Nova him self.Did ya know Nova has the most comic books and toys i ever seen anyone have in my life.and those are the ones he have on the road.And guido dress the best when not wrestling and funny as heck.RVD can eat the most.(guess his high kelpt him that way.but since then my friend joel said if you want good wrasslin and down to earth guys the indys where its at because there heads havent got that big and you can talk to them man to man. i found that true.i never knew why joel bought them dinner that night.but after the rise and fall of ecw.i know why.those guys that worked pre wwe ecw are very humble.thank GOD for that.,
