What are you talking about? this is a wrestling message board. If someone offers up an opinion that is seen as being "ridiculously" anything it gets shot down.
Or did you not see that thread where about 10 posters criticized bigeasy for saying Nash had had more quality matches than Bret Hart?
I criticized his point based on what I understood him to have said. Now, because he's actually said some things in the past that really were a little out there..or so pro-TNA as to fall in the stupid category..I probably jumped the gun.
But I still don't think the post is 100% clear as to whether he's talking about the booking of the title or the image in general. I also said he had a point based on an alternate explanation. Also, if he had said what I tohught he said, I'm not the only person that would've called that "stupid."
And once again, since the entire thing was cleared up and was obviously not apersonal attack but more a misinterpretation, i have no idea why you felt you needed to get involved.
Should I have said "CPB has a point" in bigger font?

There's nothing wrong with liking everything TNA does any more than there's something wrong with hating everything they do. It's an opinion. Who cares if CPB thinks TNA is the best wrestling product of all time and that the NWA title holds more weight than the WWE, ECW, WCW, IWGP, Triple Crown and all other titles combined? That's his right and I'm sure he has reasons for why he might think that IF he really does think that. There's nothing wrong with being a fan of something and enjoying it without picking it apart and analyzing all of its parts.
Ridiculously pro-TNA posts are no more common on this board than ridiculously anti-TNA posts IMO. You want to come down on people for being pro-TNA, you need to do the same to the anti-TNA'ers. I don't agree with either of them. I think it's a mediocre product with some good points and some bad, but if people love TNA I say good for them. Let them love it and stop telling them that they shouldn't.
You want to say TNA is the best wrestling product in the history of civilization? That's fine, give intelligent reasons for why you think it's true. You hate TNA? That's fine too. Give intelligent reasons for why it's not as good. This "TNA sucks" garbage is repetitive, immature, and not condusive to any sort of decent discussion.

I actually was having a discussion. I made a point. When BDS offered an other explanatio I clearly said there was a valid argument there and moved on. What I don't appreciate is the fact that, having had a totally non-flaming intelligent discussion where I didn't attack anyone, Splattercat acting as if I had personally attacked CPB and I REALLY don't appreciate CPB implying that I'm stupid since I had misinterpreted his first post. It was unnecessary and it's exactly the kind of thing that they've tried to get Swarm banned for countless times. |

Alright then...My post wasn't intended to p*** you off PH (Can I still call you PH..?)...To me it seemed a one-sided deal...Pittbull says something Ridiculously pro-TNA and you say it sounds stupid, and yet all around us we have TNA hate for the sake of TNA hate, and it glides by unopposed...Also once again, I've been holding back on smileys (For the last frelling time do people understand why I use them so much now???  ... So...I'm cool over here in Canada... |

Considering CPB is one of the most blatant thieves of Tom's COTG design with his bootlegs it really doesn't surprise me he continues to steal from me and trolling. the most interesting point will be to see after seeing this and other recent post from CPB trolling me, if Chris Ingersoll will stand by his word and ban him for good. I'm anxious to see! now that's strong. |

You're always the victim, right? You've never actually started any of the problems in the TNA forum, have you?

Swarm... Hate is a little strong, I would say Dislike most of what the WWE delivers, but hey you never know that could change one day... it has in the past, the same went with the WCW. I'am a wrestling fan and just like wrestling my views will change too or not, it all depends on whats going on... anyway.

To be totally fair here I think CPB's response was a defensive one more than it was intended as an offense. PH as well made as your points are most of the time, they do OCCASIONALLY come off in a rather caustic tone. Just as an observer and someone who really doesn't give a damn who likes TNA, I think that MAYBE CPB read that into your initial response and got defensive. With all of the "TNA sux u lozers" garbage that I read in here, it's not hard for me to understand why CPB might get a little sensitive about being interrogated for his feelings about TNA. If I'm wrong so be it but that's my interpretation.
I've talked with PH and CPB and Splat a lot in the chat room lately and you all seem like cool guys who would get along just fine outside of your wrestling tastes. So everyone take a step back and breath I say.
