Who is worse Kevin Federline or David Arquette? Discuss. Well, Arquette is actually a really funny guy, he seems like he's a really decent person, and he was actually a big time wrestling fan, to the point where he donated his earnings from WCW to the families of Brian Pillman and Owen Hart. The actualstoryline of Arquette winning the tile was a total cluster f*** from beginning to end, but Federline is by far the least likeable.

Agreed, that was a class thing to do. And from all accounts, he seemed genuinely upset about the whole WCW World Title debacle.

And come on, watch Ready to Rumble...Arquette was funny in that one too... "There's a lot of glare coming off that dome of yours, squirrel nuts!"Federline is retarded...The fact that the world knew that before Britney did makes him that much MORE retarded...Somehow... REGARDLESS...He's retarded, he needs to be beaten, and I don't mean in a kayfabe way...I mean in a "he just slapped Paul White and spit in his face" kinda way...

I have hated Arquette for years because of that WCW run... You mean... Wow. My world has just just been shattered. Amazing how a little piece of information can change your whole outlook on something.

1. Incognito claiming to not know who K-Fed was just about as retarded as this whole thread.
2. Funny how we are comparing Federline, who is only famous for being married to Britney, to Arquette who without his wife (Courtney Cox) would be cleaning the Fry Tray at Culver's.
3. The whole point that everyone is missing is this: John Cena has been getting booed lately no matter how hard they try to get him over as a face. Vince figures the only way to change this is to put him up against the most hated man in America, K-Fed. No one likes him so the Cena pop seems even bigger.
4. As far as Federline goes, the old adage is any publicity is good publicity. There are going to be people out there who want to do the exact opposite of the populous and will go out and buy the album.

Could it be he doesn't sit on his couch all day watching E! and reading In Touch magazine? If someone doesn't know who he is...I give them major props. 2) While I'm no fan of Arquette, while he may have not as been as famous, he did have a career before marrying Courtney Cox. Granted, he rode her coattails pretty well, but he did come from an acting family and had name value. 3) I despise white rappers, but to their credit, they've definitely been moving away from it. But I rarely watch WWE, but IMO, his "boos" have been less and less vocal, and it doesn't have to do with K-Fed. It's probably more of getting away from the wanna-be white rapper gimmick

To actually see Mr. Cox in a more serious role check out The Grey Zone. I haven't seen it in quite while but I remember thinking it was quite good and thought he did very well in it.

Okay, let's get this back on base... It's KEVIN FREAKIN' FEDERLINE..!!! Regardless of whether anyone knows him (and it's sad that people even do), what the frell does he have to do with pro-wrestling.. What business does he have in the WWE..? Honestly, why are they wasting their time..? At least David Arquette was actually in a movie about wrestling.... WWE is REALLY reaching...This is sad....

Hey, don't include the Beastie Boys with no talents like Federline and Vanilla Ice. ;D

Where was the big uproar when the morons from jacka$$ were on? There were people who actually supported it because they liked those tools (why, I don't know).
Trav, for someone to claim not to at least know who he is means they're either living in a bubble or can't speak English because the Ross and JR mentioned it and Cena did so in his rap. I didn't say he was retarded just the fact of claiming to not at least know who he is was retarded. You don't have to read E! to know who he is. All a person has to do is turn off the X-Box 360, get out of their mom's basement, and watch something other than cartoons and wrestling. I do agree wtih Splattercat, however, that it is sad people do know him.
Unfortunately, I predict this won't be the last time we see Mr. Spears.

The uproar over the Jackass guys probably didn't exist because they came on, got beat up by Umaga, and then left. Federline came back for a second helping, and was on three or four segments of RAW in a program with the World Champion. It's a waste of time and space that could get someone over who might actually draw something.

Plus...I missed the Jackass thing...
You want to bring someone mainstream onto WWE programming and get a ratings spike..? Give us the freakin' Rock...Don't slap us in the face with this piece of trash...
And congratulations to those who don't know who Kevin Federline is...WWE has just lowered your social status, and probably your intelligence by introducing you to this Fekkik...

Interesting points being made here. Some dumb ones as well.
First off: Cena has been getting his normal face reactrions for quite a while now. Mainly since "The Marine" nonsense started.
KFed really is such a part of popular cutlure that I really do find it hard to believe that someone has "no idea" who he is. He is so universally acknowledged as a loser, no-talent poser wannbe that he is the opunchline of at least a dozen jokes on various TV shows literally on a daily basis. He may not be famous for anything good, but he's famous. Like Paris Hilton.
Also, as to the question why he's a part of the storyline: well, to be fair Nitro and Melina's characters have been dropping name sof their famous friends since they debuted. So having them have a famous ally makes sense in a way. Maybe the E was just wainting to do it until Nitro was ina World Title program. Also, Nitro is HORRENDOUS on a mic so in a weird way Federline cutting promos on Cena is an improvement.

Oh..and finally: Federline helping the ratings is debatable.
RAW this week scored a 3.6 this week which was down from a 3.7 last week which was down from a 3.9 the week before.
Now, to be totally accurate, ratings during football season are always low and this weeks Giants-Cowboys games was a monster. And at least in both weeks where he appeared the highest segment was a KFEd segment (@ a 3.9).
The lowest segments the past two weeks have been the DX segments.

Kfed in some tag team matches with Nitro? God that reaks of bad WCW angles.

Well, honestly, its wrestling. What level of celebrity would you expect them to get? Tom Cruise? Matt Damon? Historically C list celebrities are about the best the E can hope for.
Plus, a no-talent social climber who is known for being a club scene junkie fits with Nitro & Melina.

It doesn't matter how you slice it, the stuff with Kfed has been bad. And probably forced a lot of people to turn the channel in favor of MNF. WWE isn't helping their cause.
