Mid-South Impact! 7.4.06 Memphis, TN
Dark Matches:
Sonjay Dutt def A-1 by DQ when Alex Shelley attacked him. Dutt was pretty lethargic, and missed several spots.. definately not ready to return yet.
Shannon Moore def. Johnny Devine with Bottoms Up in an excellent back and forth battle.
<Start of Show>
Backstage, Sting and Christian are arguing, while Jeremy Borash tries to get a word in..
Borash: Gentleman, Can I just have a word.
(Sting and Christian turn to him in unison)
SHUT UP, BORASH!
Christian: That just proved my point.. .the only way we're gonna get rid of these guys is to take them out before they get us... winning in the ring doesn't mean anything!
Sting: Winning is everything! Without their pride, they have nothing. If we beat them in the center of the ring, despite all their cheating and interference, they'll turn tail and leave.
(Christian seems to think for a minute, then answers)
Christian: alright, I'll try it your way tonight, and we'll see.
Borash: And there you have it, back to the ring!
Coach D'Amore came out with Bobby Roode, demanding a title shot for Roode. He was about to run down NWA management when Lance Hoyt came to the ring.
Hoyt: The last thing we need today of all days is you damn Canadians ranting and raving, lets get in on, Roode.
Lance Hoyt proceeded to demolish Roode, finishing him off with the Texas Tower Bomb.
The Naturals def Diamonds in the Rough after hitting "Primetime" Elix Skipper with a double dropkick. Andy Douglas looking great, and the Naturals were dazzling in their teamwork. Primetime made a brief comeback by exploitng Douglas' knee, but it was short lived. Just after the pin Simon Diamond tossed a set of brass knuckles into the ring, and David Young flattened Chase Stevens with them. While Diamond took a chair with him to the ramp to meet Shane Douglas, Skipper and Young worked over Andy Douglas. Injured knee, hanging it off the ring apron and wrenching it toward the ground. By the time The Francise was able to make the save, Douglas's leg was bent the wrong way. He had to be carried off in a stretcher.
Kevin Nash vs. Christian Cage - No Contest ; So much for Sting's talk! This one never made it to the ring! Christian attacked Nash on the entrance ramp, and the two battled back to the locker room, fighting off security as well as each other. Christian was about to get the upper hand, and had picked up a cinder block when Sting grabbed it from him. As Nash scurried to safety, Sting shook his head at Christian and walked off.
Petey Williams/Senshi def. Chris Sabin/AJ Styles when Williams pinned Sabin after the Canadian Destroyer. While Williams and Senshi didn't work all that well together, then were united in purpose, to beat down the champ. While AJ looked SLIGHTLY more beatable this match, he was able to shrug off most of the offense the two top contenders threw at him. The match turned when AJ missed the frog spash, and had to tag out to Sabin, who got caught in the wrong part of town. Senshi softened him up the brought Williams in for the Destroyer. While Williams seemed to want to chat, Senshi when to the back right after the match
Monty Brown : Ok Mr. "Monster" now is the time for you to come to the Serengetti. You'll see you're just a cute little teddy bear compared the the Alpha Male (Brown is interrupted with Abyss' chain to the back of his head)
Monty Brown def. Abyss by DQ (Abyss keeps the Mid-South Heavyweight Title) Brown recovered from the sneak attack as the mean brawled toward the ring. Just after the referee called for the bell, Abyss wrapped his chain around Monty's neck, and seemed to be starting to string Brown up when the referee called for the bell. After the bell James Mitchell came to talk the helpless Alpha Male, and promised him soon it would be... Doomsday (fade out)
Programming note: The Mid South tag title match was unable to be aired due to time constraints, the rematch between Champs AMW and Maverick Matt/Frank Kazarian will take place at the next house show in Louisville.

Great show Wildfire!
Poor Roode!! I was hoping to see him take a win, even put up a decent fight! But to be demolished. Yikes! Hope he gets a rematch.
Solid show from top to bottom. Now if only we could get you working for TNA and showing their booking committee how to put a show together!

Roode was definately suppose to win, CPB... sometimes the dice just don't co-operate... could be Hoyt gets his push, we'll see. I excited that Sabin and Dutt are about back from their injuries (next TV show they'll both be set) definately left a bit of a hole in the X-division. Thanks for reading, and any time you want to pass my thread along to TNA management, you feel free

Neither team was able to get much of an upper hand before security separated them

Rhino couldn't beat his mother they way he's been wrestling... this may have been his last match in MAEW... maybe a change is scenery will work. Mikey losing again was bad news for my booking too, those crazy dice Show has been totally unstoppable, which has been fun.. just one of those things, his card isn't THAT good.

Road to World War III MTW House Show 7.7.06
Jimmy Jacobs handily defeated Ace Steel, finishing with a frog splash
Backstage, Colt Cabana confronted CM Punk, demanding to know why he didn't discuss his plans with him. Punk explained he knew that they had each other backs, and told him they had a match tonight, against Kenta and "one of his damn foreigned friends" Cabana looked a little skeptical, but took Punk's hand.
Naomichi Marufuji def. Jay Lethal with a flash suplex.. excellent match that could have gone either way. Lethal was able to fight off the Shiranui on a couple occasions, but it just took too much out of him.
CM Punk and friends came to the ramp after the match, but SUWA and KENTA joined their countryman from through the crowd, and the stand off broke up without a conflict.
Homicide got some payback from Delirious when he nearly broke him in half with Da Cop Killa
Aries/Strong def. Evans/Sydal by Countout. Very interesting match to start, with all four men chain wrestling and showing the full array of their techincal prowess, until the Fallen hit the ring... Christopher Daniels instructed his follower to attack both teams, blind siding first Jack Evans then Austin Aries. Evans got knocked out of the ring, causing the count out as Sydal and Strong fought off the Fallen, but to no avail. The Fallen Angel took the mic in the middle of the carnage.
Daniels: It doesn't make any difference which of you fight for the title. It doesn't matter if you take the titles. It its out destiny to control this territory. We WILL take the titles its only a matter of time.
He then signalled and the Fallen filed out to the back.
The Fallen Angel def. Samoa Joe after a 2nd Angel's Wings. Daniels was firing on all cylinders for this match, and even an Island driver couldn't slow him down.
CM Punk led Colt Cabana to the ring, and they waited for KENTA and his partner... KENTA entered alone, and motioned to the referee to start the match. Just as the bell rang, KENTA's partner came to the ring... Bryan Danielson! Punk was beside himself!
Danielson/KENTA def Punk/Cabana by DQ. Punk was shell shocked at Danielson's appearance, and really just didn't have his head together for the match. Kenta and Danielson worked Punk over, getting several near falls... KENTA was ready to put him to sleep when Steel and Pearce hit the ring, causing the DQ. SUWA arrived to help KENTA and Danielson, and the brawl was on.. they were fighting throughout the arena as the show ended.

Little different format... let me know if you like it
Mid-South House Show Miami, FL 7.8.06
SHELLEY/DEVINE def. James Gang : Devine catches BG with Devine Intervention
Both teams were in need of a win, and it was the Pararazzi that get it! Kip's frustration was obvious (he never got in the ring)
Sting came out to ringside, and announced that his partner for the evening, Christian Cage, would not be in the area tonight (boos) and apologized to the 'peeps'. Kevin Nash came out to a roar of boos, and assured Sting he and Big Poppa Pump were in the house, and ready to beat him within an inch of his life! Nash was about to continue when Ron Killings took out his knee from behind. A brawl ensued, with Killings and sSting running off Jarrett's lackeys. The Truth offered himself as Christian's replacement, and Sting accepted.
ELIX SKIPPER def. Shannon Moore with the Play of the Day
Fun X-Division clash here... Skipper looked very good in this one.
TEAM CANADA (A-1 and Eric Young) def. Shane Douglas/Chase Stevens when A-1 leveled Douglas with a Yakuza Kick in the corner
This was meant as a tune up for the upcoming title shot earned by the Naturals, but Douglas didn't look up to the task here... easy win for Team Canada.
LANCE HOYT def. Bobby Roode by count out in an all-out war when he used the Texas Tower Bomb to put Roode through the announce table! Roode left on a stretcher.
Unbelievable match! Hoyt came out on fire, and it looked like it would be another quick one. Roode refuseed to quit, and survived long enough for Coach D'Amore to help him get control and tried several times without success to put Hoyt down with the Roode Awakening (Hoyt had 6 counters, Roode 5)
Kevin Nash/Scott Steiner Battled Sting and Ron Killings to a no contest.
Jarrett's men were in control early, but when the action spilled outside all hell broke loose! Killings went for a moonsault to the floor, but missed, putting himself out of action. Sting was pummeled by the his opponents until he reached under the ring and got his basebal bat! He managed to nail Nash in the back of the leg putting him down in a heap before security stepped in and stopped the fight.
PETEY WILLIAMS def. Senshi with the Canadian Destroyer
Good match! There was definately some feeling out early, with neither man really able to do much damage to the other. After a series of near misses by both guys on much of their high flying repetroire, Williams took things to the mat and grounded Senshi with the Sharpshooter. Senshi finally got to the ropes, but the damage was done.. it was only a matter of time before Petey hit the Canadian Destroyer for the victory.
BENTLEY/KAZARIAN def. America's Most Wanted by DQ
Bentley and Kazarian had the match won, with James Storm bloody in the center of the ring when Gail Kim got up on the apron and nailed the referee with a low blow, causing the DQ
