MAEW House Show Syracuse, NY 6.9.06 Taz destroyed Mike Knox, finishing with the Tazmission Balls Mahoney upset RVD with a Chair Shot after RVD missed a Van Daminator. The Dudleys def, FBI in a classic tag team match after putting little Guido through a table with the 3D. The crowd was on their feet for most of the match, which saw both teams really take it to one another. Kurt Angle def. Raven when he tapped to the Angle Lock. Angle seems more interested it talking about he future opponents, rather than Raven, which enraged him. Angle wisely took advantage and kept him on the mat for most of the match. Test/Big Show def. Tommy Dreamer/Sandman when Sandman went down to the test drive. Dreamer was in control of Test early, while the champ sat tamely on the sidelines. When the action spilled outside, CW Anderson hit the ring and distracted Sandman enough for Show to slam him into the ring steps. Show then tossed him in for the pin I love the result of Tazz destroyed Mike Knox! That is soo great!

DUDE, awesome!!!!!! Haha yeah Reyes and Rave together would be like a kitten and a.... well, Rottweiler haha. I don't know if you saw, but I re-did a bunch of guys for balance.... I made Strong and Aries a real tag team (with a tag finisher and a couple tag moves). Everyone is more like they should be... sorry I didn't get to it sooner. But I added like 4 guys too! AWESOME STUFF! Kenta/Joe sounds great... crap, I want to play so bad! Cool idea having the Dudleys return to ECW!

I figured the Dudleys (and Rhino) both are ECW originals, and they both recently cut promos that makes you think if Vince wasn't involved, they'd be there. Kenta, who I didn't really know much about, is fast becoming a favorite of mine... he may well change my plan to have Daniels and his minions as the top heels. I'm probably gonna start using the updated cards after the tournament... seems wrong to swtich mid stream. the additional guys are great, looking forward to using them

MTW Honor Cup Round 2 6.10.06 Dayton, OH
Christopher Daniels def. Delrious with Angel's Wings. The Fallen one's acolytes were in full force, and help distract Delrious for the victory
Jay Lethal def Bryan Danielson with Lethal Injection. Huge Upset. Lethal proves he belongs in the tournament with a win in a fantastic back and forth match!
Colt Cabana/Amazing Red def. The Fallen (Jacobs/Whitmer) with Colt 45: The spooky long black robes didn't do it for Jacobs and Whitmer this time.
CM Punk def. Samoa Joe by DQ Punk when to the outside for a chair as the crowd hostility toward him built, but when Joe kicked it back into him, the referee called for the bell.
Kenta def. Nigel McGuinness with Go to Sleep: Before the match, Kenta explained to McGuinness that the official here were biased towards Americans, since no self-respecting Japanese referee would have DQ'ed him last week. McGuinness responded by starting the match.. it was the only offense he would get in, as Kenta took him apart!
The Briscoes def Roderick Strong/Austin Aries with Crucible: The two teams shook hands before the match, as the two tournament favorites hooked up. The Briscoes were in control early, until Jay nearly had to tap to the Stronghold. He made the hot tag and that was all she wrote.
Christopher Daniels is the only man who won his first two matches, so it looks like this tournament is going to be a dog fight to the end! The Briscoes look like the team to beat, with two impressive wins so far.

C'mon American Dragon!!!! Tough loss for him.
If you didn't know, KENTA'S Go 2 Sleep is Awesome! He does a fireman's carry and stands so the opponent is draped over his shoulders. Then he tosses them up and knees them in the face! Really dope.

I actually found a youtube of go to sleep (I went hunting a bit to see some of the guys on the cards in action) I agree its an awesome move... pretty unique too.
I'm planning on running the 1st MAEW show, Extreme Explosion, tonight! Big Show will be defending his MAEW title against Rhino, while the Dudleys take on Test/Know for the vacant Tag Titles, should be good!
I got 3 more ROH cards in the books too, but I'll probably post them as I go, so that things will stay in date order.

Extreme Xplosion! Broadcast from Elmira, NY 6.10.06
Dark Matches:
Little Guido quickly finishes Brother Runt with the Sicilian Slice
Raven def. Stevie Richards with a cross body block. Raven tried to fire up the live crowd, and asked them if they wanted to see him on TV, to a mixed reaction. The match took place mostly outside the ring, with Stevie splitting Raven open with repeated shots into the ring steps. He went to the well once to often and Raven took over after a drop toe hold into the post.
Paul Heyman heads to the ring, backed by his enforcers, to start the show. There was a very strong reaction, mostly boos after his attack on Tommy Dreamer and co. early in the week. He welcomed the crowd, and promised that never again would Extreme Wrestling be sullied by the touch of WWE. He praised the his new champion the Big Show, and the soon to be crowned tag champs, Test and Mike Knox. He promised the crowd a far better product now that the losers and hacks like Dreamer and Sandman were on their way out (big boos) He then announce Taz for his match as the 'greatest hasbeen in ECW history' Taz give a good long stare down, but refrained from attacking.
Taz def. Balls Mahoney after tapping to the Tazmission. Fantastic Match! Balls really pounded Taz on the outside with a chair, a trash can, and everything else he could get his hands on.. but Taz kept focused on the ring action, wearing down Balls for the Tazmission.. Balls got to the ropes twice before Taz suplexed him into the center of the ring and locked it in for good.
Taz called out Kurt Angle after the match... promising he could out suplex him. Angle responded by saying he would be happy to fight him again once he was back in shape. Taz stormed down the ring at the crack when Heyman's security held him back, allowing Angle to go back to the locker room.
Sandman def. CW Anderson after a DDT: totally wild match which could have gone either way
RVD def. Tommy Dreamer with the 5 star frog splash
Heyman came out with his security, and clapped at RVD's win, and offered him to join his enforcers.. RVD, sounding a bit, distant, asked Paul how he was doing. Disgusted, Heyman told him he'd better clean himself up, or he was going to be out of a job, then stormed back to the locker room.

RVD def. Balls Mahoney with the 5 star frog splash -- RVD looked more focused that he has since the MAEW's inception, and won easily
Sal Rintaro and Brother Runt fought to a no contest when a wild brawl erupted between FBI and the Dudleys! All six men fought thought out the arena, with neither really getting the upper hand. Heyman's security had to break the fight up to get the card back on track.. he promised the Extreme faithful a six man match on the next Extreme Explosion!

Mid-South Impact! Charlotte, NC 6.13.06
Injury Report: Sonjay Dutt will be out 4 weeks as a result of the attack by Kevin Nash.
Dark Matches:
A-1 def. Shannon Moore when Coach D'Amore nailed Moore with a hockey stick
Devine/Shelley def. James Gang in a quick match. BG skipped his usual intro to rage at TNA management leaving out the best team in history from impact. While he was running down Jim Cornette, Paparazzi Productions crept to the ring and nailed him from behind, the Devine followed with a springboard moonsault to get an easy win.
The show starts with Jim Cornette on the video screen. He announces that he's tired of not having a champion, so the Mid-South Heavyweight Champion will be crowned tonight! In the grand tradition of Mid-South's forerunner, TNA, there will be a 6-man elimination match, with the last man standing taking the title! It will be Sting, Christian Cage, and Ron Killings vs. Abyss, Scott Steiner, and Jeff Jarrett. As for the tag team and Southern Cross Titles, both will be settled next week.
"Alpha Male" Monty Brown squashes Bobby Roode... After the 1st pounce, Brown pulled Roode up and Pounced on him again before taking the win.
Brown called for the mike and ran down Jim Cornette, furious he was left out of the title match. He promised whoever took the title would pay a visit to the Sarengetti before Clash of the Champions.
America's Most Wanted def. Kazarian/Bentley when Kazarian tapped to the Sharpshooter... AMW looks like their old selves, with great teamwork and a dominant win.
Kevin Nash quickly dispatches Eric Young with the Jackknife Powerbomb. Alex Shelley had his camera set up, recording the match. Nash promised he would start with the Southern Cross Title, then retire it when he won the Heavyweight Title, and end all the speculation that "little runts" can wrestle.
The Naturals def. Diamonds in the Rough when Andy Douglass pinned "Primetime" Elix Skipper with a springboard Clothesline. Very good match! The Naturals were fantastic, making lightning tags and really working over David Young, but interference by Skipper and Simon Diamond kept him from being pinned. Diamond help swing the tide of the match for a few minutes, but the Naturals would not be denied. AMW hit the ring while the Naturals were celebrating. They tossed Stevens to the ring floor, then dismantled Andy Douglas, cracking a beer bottle across his back, then handcuffing him to the ring post and whipping his back mercilessly with a belt until the Franchise hit the ring to make the save.
Petey Williams def. Chris Sabin with the Canadian Destroyer to advance to the Southern Cross Title Match! Sabin was in control early, and got two near falls, but he couldn't keep the momentum as Williams exploited his injury and hit the Canadian Destroyer for the win.
AJ Styles def Senshi with the Styles Clash Senshi came out on fire, and got a near fall with the Ki Krusher, but AJ battled back to get the tough victory. He'll face Petey Williams for the Southern Cross Title!
Mid South Elimination Title Match
1st Fall: After all six guys kinda felt each other out, Sting and Christan showed some great team work against Scott Steiner. Jarrett was able to save him from the Unprettier, but not the Scorpion death drop. Scott Steiner is Eliminated
2nd Fall: Abyss stormed into the ring after the pin, and went to work on Sting. He tossed him outside, where Jarrett nailed him with his guitar while James Mitchell distracted the referee. Jarrett then tossed him back in and got the easy pin. Sting is Eliminated
3rd Fall: Christian came into the ring, only to run into a Black Hole Slam! He kicked out, but the follow up choke slam finished him off. Christian is Eliminated
4th Fall: The Truth battled back and forth with Abyss, and the action spilled outside. Jarrett watched for a distance as the two men decimated each other outside the ring. James Mitchell tossed Abyss' chain to Killings while the referee was distracted, and Killings was DQ'ed when the referee turned around! Ron Killings in eliminated
5th Fall: While the referee was attempt to get a livid Ron Killings to the back, Jarrett ambushed Abyss with a guitar shot from behind! He tossed him in the ring then dropped him again with the Stoke, but the monster kicked out! The majority of the action was then outside, with the referee letting even a chair shot by Abyss go, trying to let the belt be decided on a clean finish. Jarrett eventually got the upper hand by splitting Abyss' skull open with a irish whip into the post. back inside, Jarrett locked in the figure four, but Abyee powered his way to the ropes. With blood dripping through the tatters of his mask, Abyss staggered to his feet and someehow grabbed Jarrett's neck. JJ was so shocked to see the big man on his feet he didn't respond, and Abyss delivered a mammoth choke slam to get the pin!
ABYSS wins the Mid South Heavyweight Title!
While Abyss hugged the belt on him knees in the center of the ring, Monty Brown came through the crowd and delivered a Pounce to the tired and weakened champ, took the belt for a moment, then left it on his prone body.

I've been surpised at how close the tag teams have been, looking at the cards, you'd think AMW would be way ahead. I realized about half way though this was at least a hour and a half prolly, but I decided I didn't care. I was pretty nervous when Jarrett almost won, but luckly Abyss came though Thanks for the praise... I got big plans. so stay tuned

MAEW House Show Trenton, NJ 6.14.06
Kevin Stone debuts by squashing Al Snow with Crucifixtion
Raven get back on track with a dominant win over Mike Knox
Roadkill upsets Taz with an Amish Bomb : This was an excellent match. Roadkill started strong, but Taz answer with a dazzling array of suplexs, getting two near falls. Kurt Angle came down to ringside to interrupted, and seemed by be discussing suplexing with Taz when Roadkill recovered to splash the unsuspecting Taz, then finish him with the Amish Bomb
The Dudleys ruined the debut of the Bashams with an easy victory when Devon "testified" on Doug
CW Anderson def. Tommy Dreamer with tha Anderson Spinebuster in a quick match
Test made it two in a row for Paul E. with another quick win, this one over the Sandman
In a non-title match Big Show def. Kurt Angle when Paul's Enforcers and CW Anderson hit the ring and beat down Angle outside before tossing him in for a choke slam. This was easily the match of the night before the screwjob finish. Show threw Angle around like a rag doll for nearly 10 minutes (5 tokens for Angle) before Angle used a low blow to stop his momentum. Angle used a flying headbutt to take show off his feet, and even delivered a belly to belly suplex on the big man. He just couldn't seem to sink the Ankle lock in, however. Angle was firmly in control when the cavalry arrived.

MLW Tournament of Honor, Round 3 St. Paul, MN 6.16.06
Delrious def. Jay Lethal in a quick high energy match with his clothesline explosion
Kenta def. "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels with Go to Sleep despite his Fallen trying to distract him
Whitmer/Jacobs def. Rave/Reyes Daniels was lurking on the rampway, and planted Jimmy Rave with Angel's Wings before the match, letting his acolytes get an easy win.
CM Punk def. Bryan Danielson by DQ The fans were once again very hostile to Punk, and their chants of "you sold out' and "go back to Vince" were clearly taking their toll. As the action spilled outside, one of the fans tossed his beer in Punk's face. Punk complained to the referee and got the DQ win.
Samoa Joe def. Nigel McGuinness with an Enzuguri in the match of the night. Lots of stiff hits and evil looking submission attempts in this one ( 7 tokens total)
Aries/Strong def. Cabana/Red with Stronghold : Cabana never got into the ring.. Aries and Strong just dismantled Amazing Red, you almost felt sorry for him after the match.
No one is undefeated after the first 3 rounds... with Punk, Joe, Daniels and Kenta all at 2-1. The former RoH title holders are both 1-2
Aries and Strong looked solid, and have a 2-1 record, while the Briscoes lead the pack at 2-0.

Mid-South House Show 6.17.06 Winston-Salem, NC
Shannon Moore/Lance Hoyt def. Team Canada (A-1 and Eric Young) when Hoyt planted A-1 with the Texas Tower Bomb : Moore came out the ring and asked for someone to help him out against Team Canada, and Lance Hoyt answered the call. Moore didn't really work that well with him, but once Hoyt got on offense he dominated the smaller Team Canada.
Senshi def Alex Shelley in a squash with Warrior's Way
Bobby Roode def. Christian Cage by DQ after Cage pounded him into the ground with a chair. Christian was clearly frustrated at the results of the title match on Impact, and took it out on Roode. The crowd was behind him despite his somewhat uncalled for attack.
Simon Diamond/Diamonds in the Rough def. "the Franchise" Shane Douglas/Naturals with Play of the Day: Andy Douglas tried to go in a back brace, but really was unable to do much, and with the Franchise rusty, the Diamonds controlled most of the match.
Sting def. Jeff Jarrett by Count out: After some good back and forth action early, Sting took over and hit the Stinger Splash.. Jarrett slid outside and decided discretion was the better part of valour
Ron "the truth" Killings def "Alpha Male" Monty Brown with Consquence. Brown actually dominated most of the match, and was shocked after the bell that he'd lost.
Abyss def. Scott Steiner in a non-title match with two black hole slams. James Mitchell was at the commentary table during the match, and dedicated the 1st black hole slam to Ron Killings, and the 2nd to Monty Brown. Abyss truly looked like a monster in this one, somehow man handling Big Poppa Pump.
Note: Sorry about the lack of colors.. the buttons don't want to work...
