The kickoff of the DWA!
The wrestlers were drafted into two separate divisions, INTENSITY (my guys) and AGGRESSION (my son's guys).
Tonight: the inaugural card for DWA INTENSITY:
BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN defeated SD JONES
SD started quickly, catching Valiant in a pair of sleeper holds and nearly getting a win before Jimmy went out of the ring and smashed SD into the steel post. From there, Valiant took control and put Jones away with the Wind-Up Elbow Drop.
DAN "THE BEAST" SEVERN defeated JUSTIN CREDIBLE
It didn't take long for The Beast to put away Credible, trapping him in a series of painful submission holds and finishing him with the Bow and Arrow.
IRON SHEIK defeated KOKO B WARE by DQ
A wild match from start to finish! The two combatants got in to a shoving match even before the opening bell, and the animosity continued throughout the contest. Koko controlled the action early, accumulating three near falls before Iron Shiek turned the tables and fought back. Koko nearly tapped out before escaping the camel clutch and leaving the ring. Sheik followed and a wild brawl ensued. Koko was hit with the DQ, much to the displeasure of the partisan Dayton crowd before the two battled all the way back to the dressing room. The DWA's first feud is underway!
YOUSSEF ISHMAELO pinned TED DIBIASE
Backhand Slap, Rib Crusher, snake eyes, PIN!
DANGEROUS ALLIANCE (Rude & Zbyszko) defeated RISING SONS (Inoki & Baba)
A long, hard fought match ended when Zbyszko forced Inoki to tap with the Larryland Sleeper.
THE CRUSHER pinned HARLEY RACE
A surprisingly quick upset! Race took the advantage early, but Crusher took the action out of the ring and got control of the match. Three consecutive Crusher Bolos proved to be too much for Harley to overcome.
MIDNIGHT EXPRESS defeated MIDWEST MAULERS (Crusher & Ox Baker)
The Crusher was fresh after a brief singles match, but never got into the ring in this one. Ox Baker took control of Stan Lane to start the match, but Lane reversed a whip to the ropes and nailed a deadly running clothesline, setting up Eaton for the VEG-O-MATIC and the quick victory.
***MAIN EVENT***
KILLER KOWALSKI defeated NICK BOCKWINKEL by DQ
Kowalski took control early in the match, but could not sustain an offense to catch a pin attempt. Bockwinkel finally turned the momentum and the action quickly spilled out of the ring, where Bockwinkel earned the DQ.

Did you alter Roses card at all? I can't get him to win and yet he is your champion. In one of my old feds he did pretty good but I teamed him up with Cornette as his manager and changed his Pin Rating plus I added a Cornette Interference move. Go figure.

Amazingly... Rose has done it all on his own! Johnny Valentine has a rematch scheduled for Card #10, two out of three falls to settle the issue with Playboy. Dan Severn waits in the wings for the winner.

Update from DWA Headquarters:
At Card #8, Red Bastien suffered a separated shoulder after an attack by Bruiser Brody. Bastien is expected to miss 3 matches.
As a result of his assault on referee Joe Kopasz at Card #9, Billy "Red" Lyons has been fined $1,000.
"Sweet" Stan Lane suffered a fractured wrist at Card #9 at the hands of Road Warrior Hawk. Lane will be sidelined 4 matches.
As a result of the injury to Lane, the Midnight Express will be unable to defend the United States Tag Team Championship. The DWA Championship Committee has ordered the belts to be VACATED. A tournament will be held to crown new champions, beginning at Card #11.
Because of Hawk's role in the injury to Lane, the Road Warriors have been declared INELIGIBLE for the tournament.

Five teams have been entered into a tournament to decide the vacant US Tag Team Titles. Ivan Putski & Chief Jay Strongbow have earned the #1 seed and a first-round bye. First-round matches will include:
Castaways vs. Brainbusters
Rising Sons vs. Adonis / Ventura
The tournament will conclude with the crowning of new champions at Gem City Showdown II.
Card #11 will take place at the Toledo Sports Arena. Matches will include:

Announcement from the DWA Championship Committee:
Ivan Putski suffered a broken jaw at last night's Card #11 in Toledo. The injury occurred when Putski was attacked by Bruiser Brody. Putski is expected to be out approximately four matches.
As a result of the injury, Mr. Putski will be unable to compete in the semifinals of the US Tag Team tournament. Putski and Strongbow will be removed from the bracket. As a result, only two teams remain. The team of Jesse Ventura and Adrian Adonis will face The Brainbusters at Gem City Showdown II to determine the US Tag Team Champions.
The matches for Card #12, to be held in Canton, Ohio, have now been finalized:

Boogie Woogie Man vs. Don Muraco
