AWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP – Greg & Johnny Valentine 30 MINUTE DRAW Jimmy Snuka & Buddy Rose ****
Summary: The fans in Las Vegas got their money’s worth! Bastien showed an uncharacteristic aggressive streak in the tag match. He got his team DQ’d for bashing Jimmy Valiant with a steel chair. Perhaps the pressure of being World Champion is getting to him. DiBiase & George had a combined 11 PAs in their bout. DiBiase trapped George in the figure four for the submission victory, gaining some revenge for George’s attack on Nick Bockwinkel. Buddy Rogers, in turn, made Virgil submit to his FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. Killer Kowalski got a big win with his victory over Dick Hutton. The Destroyer & Giant Baba showed their teamwork with an easy win over Race & Bundy. Hawk was able to keep his eye on Nikita with him legally in the match. The Valentines brutalized Snuka & Rose, putting 6 PAs on each. Snuka & Rose fought back, with Snuka hitting a SUPERFLY LEAP on Greg Valentine when the time limit expired. Expect a rematch to be signed in the near future.

Neckbreaker Drop rules!
The thought of Gotch vs. Ox is just kind of crazy. Slight clash of styles.

You really need to book Snuka in a Coal Miner's Glove match. Just watch those things though...they've been known to fly off and sail for miles! ;D

Hopefully no one in the crowd would sue if they got hit with the Coal Miner's Glove. Those things are deadly!

If you're interested in a hilarious angle, check out the Coal Miner's Glove match between Snuka & Col. DeBeers from the AWA in '86. Watch for that flying glove!
