You got that right Trav, this is wrestling fan heaven,I don't know some of the legends but through game play and looking them up i have learned a great deal about the guys who have paved the way for todays wrestlers.Tom has done and will contiue to do a fantastic job of singing the legends.I to played diffrent games one called Pro Power Championship wrestling. This game was ok at best but no out or the ring or interferance. In LOW COTG you got all this and 3 bags of chips.Keep up the great work Tom and the rest of the gang at Filsinger Games.

From here on in any card error's we can just put the blame on Hoffa. He doesn't know wrestling and wears hubble telescopes for glasses and as an added bonus I don't think he know how to work a computer so we can bash him and he will never find out. Kind of like mocking the Amish on line they will never ever know.
As for Tom being greedy I can say he is, I have been flown in on his private jet to his 12,000 ft house on the aptly named Lake Filsinger. When you have an ego as big as Tom's why not name a lake after yourself.
I hope this helps sort things out.

I just read this whole thread. Great stuff in here by Tim and Chad. I think anyone who makes bootlegs should copy and paste the ch chart post Tim made and save it. I know I did.

Here it is again:
From Tim Dalton
Regarding the (ch X) question:
A, B, C, F are only attached to level 2 type moves: dropkick-2 (ch C) is good brainbuster-3 (ch F) is no good
D, E, G, H are all attached to level 3 type moves: cross body block-3 (ch E) is good arm wringer-2 (ch H) is no good
G, H appear only on Level 3 Offense.
I believe there are a few rare instances of a D or E appearing on Level 1 Offense (usually on #6).

Chart situations and the (ch X) discepancies are the biggest problems with bootleg cards.
People may say they've "play tested" bootlegs that don't follow the rules, but it's still comparing apples and oranges. It is possible to put together competitive and creative characters within the established guidlines and have them perform to your expectations. (Here's another chance for Swarm to plug Promoter Madness!)
Obviously, there have been some deviations over the years, but (for the most part) there have been reasons for them (ie Frank Gotch not having a deathjump).
Maybe there should be a "Proper Bootlegging 101" class at GalactiCon!

Well, one thing is that I know alot of people don't even use the chart situations so they probably don't pay as much attention to those rules. Honestly I have never understood their point. Because of that I don't use them at all.

I don't use them either. I think they get in the way of the match flow. Although I do sometimes use them in big title matches just for more momentum shifts.

I usually don't worrya bout the choice situations when it's an unimportant match. In a big one though, I'm sure to use it.

I actually do this. Roll a (ch) move and just refer to the number. Roll the same (ch) a second time and I go to the chart. And so on. Sometimes to me the choice chart just slows down the flow.

I roll one die. EVEN- I use the move listed on the card. ODD- I use the Choice Situations Chart.
Simple...yet effective.
