Is Mike Golic the same one from saved by the bell the college years ?

Thanks for all the positive feedback and attention, folks.
Neilybob, in response, no, the Golic from Saved by the Bell the College Years was Mike's older brother, Bob, who as far as I know has no wrestling connection. Allegedly, based on WikiPedia, Mike (currently the cohost of Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN) was color man for GLOW briefly, though I have no confirmation of this. I though it would be fun to add a celeb to the fed's broadcast team. Besides, when straddled with Craig DeGeorge, a team needs a personality.

U48--Bockwinkle99 presents Herb Abrams' Universal Wresling Federation
"This is the Fury Hour!"
Matches taped at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada
Craig DeGeorge and Mike Golic at ringside
Fury Hour airs on SportsChannel America--2.0 rating
1. Dennis 'Rodzilla' Rodman v. Frank 'the Real American' Stallone ends in a double countout
*) Both men quickly take the fight to the arena floor and ignore referee Holly Hunter's count. As the bell rings, both men grab nearby chairs and a standoff ensues. Present at ringside, Commissioner Herb Abrams orders both men to the back to cool off and tells them he will book them in a match soon against each other.
**) Taped comments from Universal Womens Champion Lexie Fyfe and her challenger tonight, Luna Vachon, are aired.
2. Universal Tag Team Champions the Russians d. Los Conquistadors
*) Nikolai Volkoff p. Conquistador #1 in a squash match.
3. Don 'the Rock' Muraco p. Gary Keyes
*) Herb gets comments from Muraco post match in the ring. Muraco says he wants a rematch to get the title back and won't rest until the belt is back around his waist.
**) CAPTAIN LOU'S CORNER: We never find out who the scheduled guest is as UWF Champion 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams storms the set to respond to Muraco. "Doesn't the Hawaiian Paunch get it? Didn't I get it through his coconut skull that I can't be stopped? If he's stupid enough to want more of the greatest power in the universe, I am more than happy to oblige."
4. Battle Kat p. Rusty Brooks
*) More chaos as after the bell Cactus Jack wanders into the ring. Kat's ready but Herb again rushes into the ring. He issues a warning to Cactus Jack that if he doesn't leave right now he'll be fined. It appears for a moment that he's ready to go at it with Herb but suddenly bolts from the ring, leaving the promoter/commissioner speechless in the ring.
5. The Bruiser and the Crusher d. David Sammartino and Chief Jay Strongbow
6. Luna Vachon p. Universal Womens Champion Lexie Fyfe to win the title.
That's it for now, but tune in next time. Among those who will be featured are Elvira, the Mistress of the Dark, the Brat Pack and manager Andy Kaufman, Iceman King Parsons will battle Cowboy Bob Orton, Mila Kunis will try for revenge against Lucy Liu, and there will be two title matches. Universal Womens TV Champion Sarah Silverman will put her belt on the line against Peg Bundy, and TV Champion Griff will face former champion "Mr. Not So Perfect" Todd Bridges. Until then, we'll see you at the matches.

U49--Bockwinkle 99 presents Herb Abrams' UWF
"It's the Fury Hour!"
Matches taped at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, NV
Fury Hour airs on SportsChannel--3.3 rating
Craig DeGeorge, Mike Golic, Mike Greenberg, Capt. Lou Albano and Herb Abrams are your broadcast team.
*) The show opens with taped comments from the womens' tag team champions Laura Prepon and Mila Kunis. Mila has demanded and received a match tonight to gain revenge on Lucy Liu of the Angels for choking her out center ring in North Dakota.
*) The Angels, Lucy and Drew Barrymore, respond that Lucy will face Mila but that it's hard to take "that wimpering mass" (Kunis) seriously.
1. Tina Fey b. Elvira by DQ
*) Referee Colin Mochrie calls off the match when he catches Elvira throw powder in Tina's face. At once, Amy Poehler charges out and confronts Elvira, but Mochrie manages to maintain order and gets Elvira out of the ring.
**) In back, Mike Greenberg has the Brat Pack (Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie) and Andy Kaufman at the interview position. Andy says the third member of the Pack, Lindsay Lohan, has been suspended from the team for tonight's match.
2. The Brat Pack (w/Kaufman) d. the Party of Two (Jennifer Love Hewitt and Lacey Chabert).
*) Nicole Richie p. Hewitt
**) Post match, Andy grabs the house mic and announces that these women (the Brat Pack) are the greatest team in the UWF and that Lindsay Lohan can "stay in rehab" as far as he's concerned. When he's asked by Herb Abrams if that means that Lindsay has been fired, Andy says, "What are you , stupid? Do I have to say it slower? OK, then. Y--e---s."
**) CAPT. LOU'S CORNER--Lou's guest is Iceman King Parsons, who explains the simmering hatred between himself and Col. DeBeers and Bob Orton. "It's a respect thing, baby. DeBeers is behind the times. Aparthied is dead, Colonel. Earn respect in the ring if you can."
3. Iceman King Parsons p. Cowboy Bob Orton
*) Colonel DeBeers tries to interfere but he is "Butt Butt"--ed out of the ring.
4. Universal Television Champion Griff (w/Jefferson D'Arcy) p. "Mr. Not So Perfect" Todd Bridges to retain the title
*) Post bell, Herb's post match interview is interrupted by a man who identifies himself as Tobin Bell and that he represents the interests of Mr. Danny Glover. On Glover's behalf, he challenges Griff to a title match. Griff and Jefferson laugh that Glover couldn't beat Bud Bundy. Herb askes then, if Danny could win a rematch against Bud, would Griff give him the title shot. Almost doubled up with laughter, the members of the Bundy Family agree.
5. Lucy Liu (w/ Drew Barrymore) p. Mila Kunis (w/Laura Prepon) after a crescent kick.
*) Outside the ring, Laura is leveled by a Drew clothesline. Drew and Lucy again lay a beating on Mila center ring until Laura recovers and grabs a chair. Referee Ryan Styles grabs the chair as the Angels beat a retreat. With the house mic, Laura tells Herb that she wants a no holds barred match against the Angels as soon as she's cleared to wrestle again by UWF doctors.
6. Peg Bundy (w/ Marcy D'Arcy) p. UWF Womens' Television Champion Sarah Silverman to win the title.
*) Marcy D'Arcy distracts ref Kevin James, allowing Peg to KO Sarah with a spike-heeled shoe for the win.
*) Tonya Harding charges out to the ring to argue with Kevin, but to no avail. Instead, Marcy grabs Tonya from behind, spins her around and right into the path of Peg, who agains uses the spiked heel to knock Tonya out.
Thank you for checking in on the UWF. Come back next time. Until then, we'll see you at the matches."

2. Dennis "Rodzilla" Rodman p. Frank "the Real American" Stallone
**) Cactus Jack airs a promo regarding Battle Kat:
"This is Cactus Jack, and I'd rather hurt a man than love a woman. This is bad news for you, Battle Kat. You beat me once on TV, and the voices in my head don't like that. They're telling me that I have to return the favor. I have to beat you, Battle Kat. In the ring, in the back, anywhere. Name the place, Kat! Name it!"
3. Cactus Jack p. Davey 'the Observer' Meltzer
[glow=red,2,300]Captain Lou's Corner: [/glow] This week's guest is Elvira. She is accompanied by Emma Watson, dressed in black, staring at the floor and silent as the Mistress of the Dark vows revenge on Tina Fey and, especially, Amy Poehler for getting involved last week. The two teams will meet next week on the Fury Hour.
4. UWF Champion "Dr. Death" Steve Williams b. Jose Luis Rivera by countout.
*) Rivera is knocked out by a Doctor Bomb to the arena floor. After referee Jesse Hernandez counts Rivera out, Williams leaves the ring and executes a second on him. An army of wrestlers and referees come out of the back and pull the men apart.
**) Danny Glover and Tobin Bell cut a promo on Bud Bundy and the rest of the Bundy Family.
Bell: "Bundy Family, you have been playing games here in the UWF for too long. It is time for a true gamemaster to come in and deal with you. That is what I am. My game pieces include the man beside me. I have others ready to come in to deal with you, Al Bundy, and your wife and daughter and friends as well if need be. Rest assured, Bundy Family, your days are indeed numbered."
5. Candi Devine p. Lexie Fyfe
*) With this victory, Candi places herself in line for a title shot against UWF Womens' Champion Luna Vachon.
6. The Bruiser and the Crusher d. UWF Tag Team Champions the Russians to win the titles.
*) The Crusher p. Nikita Koloff as the Bruiser dukes it out outside the ring with Nikolai Volkoff.
*) Post match interview between the Crusher and Herb Abrams in the ring. Crusher: "Herb, you need to tell us where the best polka bar in LA is. 'Cause da Bruiser and I are heading out to find that bar, get us some big ladies about 240, 'cause that's how we stay in shape, and really wake up this town."
Bruiser: "That's right. C'mon, Herb, you look like you need some health food like beer and pretzles and some big women."
With that, to the cheers of the crowd, the Bruiser and the Crusher leave the ring with the title belts--and the UWF President--over their shoulders.
Come back next week where there will be some more great UWF action...and maybe the new tag team champions will bring our promoter back.

Kirshner?? Kool! Cacti rules! Nice that the Russians lost and you have new champs!
As for adding pics, you need to open a free account at PhotoBucket. From there, add pics to your account there. Then, copy the IMG Code there. Paste that code here and highlight the link in your message and click the "Insert Image" icon above where you're typing your post. Preview the post and you should see the pic! That should do it! I hope that's clear enough?

U51--Bockwinkle 99 presents Herb Abrams' Universal Wrestling Federation
[glow=red,2,300]"It's the Fury Hour!"[/glow]
From the Reseda Country Club in Reseda, California
Fury Hour airs on SportsChannel--4.1 rating
Your Broadcast Team: Craig DeGeorge, Mike Golic, Mike Greenberg, Capt. Lou Albano, Herb Abrams
1. Tina Fey & Amy Poehler v. Elvira & Emma Watson ends in a time limit draw. Nobody is satisfied as both teams continue to brawl after the bell. Referee Colin Mochrie must call for help from the back to separate the teams.
*) Billy Jack Haynes airs a promo regarding his opponent tonight, Colonel DeBeers. Haynes: "People ask me, 'Billy Jack, how did this thing with you and Colonel DeBeers start?' Well, I'll tell you. I was born in Portland, Oregon, and raised in it's streets. I learned fast that you can't judge a man by the color of his skin. DeBeers, you and your racist attitudes have no place in this world anymore, and if the only way to get you to understand this is to literally beat it into your head, then so be it."
2. Danny Glover (w/Tobin Bell) b. "The Bumblebee" Bud Bundy (w/Jefferson D'Arcy) by DQ Referee Ryan Stiles catches Jefferson trying to interfere. As he calls for the bell ending the match, a man (later identified as Costas Mandaylor) comes to the ring and tackles D'Arcy while Glover continues to pound on Bud. TV Champion Griff comes down and pulls D'Arcy out as Stiles manages to get between Glover and Bundy.
In back, Mike Greenberg interviews the women's tv tag team champions Mila Kunis and Laurie Prepon, That '70's Team, before their no-DQ match with the Angels. Prepon: "Greeny, it's all about the gold right here. Lucy, Drew, it's right here. All you have to do is take it. Just keep in mind that it won't be as easy as you both seem to think."
3. Judy Carne & Go-Go Goldie d. The Brat Pack (w/Andy Kaufman) Judy Carne p. Nicole Richie to get the win. Andy Kaufman tries to interfere, but he gets attacked by Lindsay Lohan! She soon takes off, pursued by Paris Hilton, as Andy screams at referee Colin Mochrie to win the match via disqualification, vowing on the house mic to sue just about everyone involved in the UWF.
**) [glow=red,2,300]CAPTAIN LOU'S CORNER[/glow]: Tonight, Captain Lou welcomes UWF's newest wrestler, Adorable Adrain Adonis. Adonis: "Captain, I'm out here in living color on SportsChannel to take back what's mine, something that a certain man in New York tried to take away from me, and that's my manhood. What you see here is what you get. I don't wear dresses, I don't wear makeup. I just inflict pain. Get ready, UWF, the real Adrain Adonis is back, and the universe will never be the same, baby.
4. Sarah Silverman b. "The Verminator" Kelly Bundy (w/Marcy D'Arcy) by DQ Silverman chases Kelly out of the ring and is grabbed by Marcy from behind. With Marcy holding Sarah, Kelly blasts Sarah with a chairshot that brings the DQ from ref Laura San Giacomo. Furious at the obvious effort to injure Silverman, Herb Abrams comes out and suspends Kelly and Marcy.
*) Colonel DeBeers cuts a video promo: "People of the United States, your corrupt way of life is quickly falling apart. Soon, people such as myself will unite and rid the world of those of you who wish to corrupt the youth of the world. People who preach 'racial unity' and 'religious freedom'. People like you, Billy Jack Haynes. You will be exposed for what you are. And as for you, Adrain Adonis, you are on notice. Stay out of the UWF, you dress wearing freak.
5. Col. DeBeers (w/Bob Orton) b. Billy Jack Haynes (w/Iceman Parsons) by DQ *) As DeBeers ties up referee Jesse Hernandez, Bob Orton clubs Haynes with his cast. Iceman King Parsons charges across the ring to get to Orton, pushing DeBeers. DeBeers is furious and swings at Parsons, who ducks and clocks the Colonel in the jaw. Hernandez disqualifies Hayes for outside interference as Orton now notices this and comes after Parsons. As the crowd cheers, Parsons 'butt butt's him and sends him and DeBeers packing once again.
6. UWF Womens' Tag Team Champions That '70s Team d. the Angels to retain the titles in a no-DQ match. Mila gets a taste of revenge by scoring the winning pin over her tormentor Lucy Liu.
Come back soon for more wild UWF action. Until then, we'll see you at the matches.
