Hey sorry so late for a reply. Thanks for the encouragement to say in the art field. I decided not to become a cop and I am very happy as a art director web designer. I also love Photography and plan on building a photoshare type of site. I have tons of High res photos from all over the country and the world for that matter. I will let you know when I get things started on that. Kevin

I am a full time mommy and design all of the bookmarks for www.customizedbookmarks.com, my small business under the corporate umbrella of BDS' business. Oh, and I am BDS' official (and unpaid) office manager, because if I wasn't, nothing would get done.

I counted up over 36 diffrent places I have worked. They include everything from painter, bouncer, demolition crew, crane operator, store manager/owner, substitute teacher to my current employee and job I will never leave. Lift truck operator at Sleeman's.
We make beer, currently we make 8 diffrent brands of Sleeman beer, Sapporo, Old Milwaukee, Pabst and Upper Canada for about 30 diffrent brands. And I only pay 10 cents a beer mmmmm beer good.
Plus I have travelled all over Ontario and the southern U.S. wrestling for the last 12 years.

I am (was, I will back working in September at the absolute earliest, probably January '08) a Special Education Teacher at Community High School in Milwaukee Public Schools (not as dangerous as you may have heard, but not safe earlier). Prior to that, I spent 8 years in banking (which I hated), as a Branch Manager and Mortgage Lender.

I was looking for a new job and saw jobs teaching ESL in other countries (at the moment, Korea has the highest demand). Has anyone every done this or heard about these? I've heard some horror stories about people getting burned so I'm a little iffy about it. But if I can find a legit company, it'd sound like a cool thing to do for a year.
Take care,
Jay

Take care, Jay Yeah, I've met some teachers who teach over in South Korea and they don't get "burned." Also, I have a cousin who is Korean and she has never had a problem going back to South Korea. But if you want to teach ESL, you don't have to go to Korea to do that. To teach ESL in my school district, you can almost pick your school (ESL is one of the subjects in my district that is always in high demand for teachers).

Thanks, Vegas,
The thing about teaching overseas (at least according to the web sites) is that you don't even need to speak the language well (which is good because I don't know any Korean, only some Spanish, Japanese, and Norwegian), since they'll teach you.
I'm still thinking about it, though my fiancee pretty my bugs me every day to sign up, saying she'll have our bags packed in an hour.
Take care,
Jay
