Ok, so Joe has lost twice now, we know that...but according to the genius' at TNA he is still "undefeated". whatever.
anyways, who gets pinned/submits first? Umaga, the only undefeated Samoan wrecking machine in wrestling today, or 0-2 Samoa Joe?

I don't think Vince let's Umaga lose until Joe does...but I don't think Joe "officially" loses for a long time, or until TNA goes under.
This is a tough one. Both guys may never lose. But I've got to vote for Joe...he's injury prone and could very well have to drop a title at some point to nurse an injury. So I'm going with him.

Umaga dies to Kane or I stop watching Raw... ;D No but seriously, I'm a Kane mark, and Umaga is in a feud with him...There's NO way I'msaying that Umaga isn't going to get ruined by Kane... I stopped watching Raw when he and Big Show got beat by the Spirit Squad...No way am I going to accept a one on one loss to Umaga, I don't care how many guys Umaga has helping him...

Umaga does look better , the more you see him . I still feel that this match would be about 10 minutes long at least . The longer it went the more Joe , would be favourite ?

Rob, I moved this here to the Pro Wrestling board since there are some who may only play Legends and never check out the COTG side of the board. And I admit, I love the Joe vs Umaga debates! Gotta make sure everyone sees it!!!

This Kane's farewell tour. It's been reported that he'll be retiring soon. Joe loses 1st.

Gotta make sure everyone sees it!!! I actually have no idea why it was in the CotG polls section at all. Did you click on the wrong forum by accident, Swarm? As far as the poll goes, it is a tough call (even given my near-total ignorance/apathy about TNA). I do agree with several points, however: Vince will probably keep Umaga undefeated as long as Joe's "streak" is intact, and that this is in all liklihood Kane's "Farewell tour". I think it will be Joe, ultimately. Being a face (I believe), he is more prone to being the victim of interference and/or cheating.

Has it not been announced in Canada that this is indeed Kane's farwell tour? No way he loses to Umaga. Doesn't make any sense.

Joe's streak may be considered "fake" because he lost in a triple threat match, but Umaga's already lost technically. He has lost in singles matches in WWE before Umaga when he was Jamal. He's still a repackaged character, regardless, and really isn't "undefeated" in the WWE. You could put a mask on Eugene and have him do crazy Mike Whipwreck upsets (by fluke), even if we all knew it was Eugene and call that undefeated? I think Umaga's (even though I like the character) streak is kind of jaded this way. Just my opinion.

This is something that always threw me when CotG would reinvent someone, like Death Knight -> Death Masque in 2090. Does (should) the new entity inherit the (probably incredibly poor) record of his former life? Eddie Fatu, the real person, may not be undefeated, but Umaga, the latest character portrayed by him, is.

Sweet, so they're going to have their second-most consistant name on Raw (next to Triple H) go out with a sound beating by Umaga..? Gee, suddenly I don't want to watch Raw again...

And no, "Umaga" and "Jamal" while they might both be Eddie Fatu, are very much NOT the same guy...Unless they decide to do some wierd Mick Foley thing... The difference is in the packaging itself...Put a mask on Eugene and he's Eugene with a mask...Put a mask on Nick Dinsmore and change his name to Ion Storm, and now he's Ion Storm and Eugene no longer exists...he starts his win/loss record from scratch... Same with Hogan/Mr. America...EVERYONE knew that hogan was Mr. America because Mr. America was an angle, not a character...Conversely, Rikishi and the Sultan were not the same character, nor were Smash and the Repo-Man...Kane never feuded with Bret Hart, Isaac Yankem did...I.R.S was a tag team champion with Ted Dibiase, not Barry Windham etc...And Umaga can't even say 3 Minute Warning... I think that overkills my point nicely...

Nope, I was there for that...What's wrong with having a guy go out with a win...?
EDIT: I recall from that thread, and other readings online that Glen would voluntarily take the fall for Umaga to help put him over...but still, If it's his last Hurrah, is it REALLY going to hurt Umaga if Kane beats him and retires...? I don't see a loss to Kane killing his momentum...
