I'd have to go with baseball because its the only team sport that allows us to see the players perform on a individual basis and its the only one that doesn't go by a clock. Even if its not your favorite you have to admit its the most unique

Pro football is the only sport that keeps you wanting more, and the regular season games just mean so much more than the other sports. Plus its the best TV sport and that is how most people watch sports anyway. Gotta go with the NFL.

Football would have to be a close second for me. I loved reading about the baseball old timers and going through the record books when I was a kid so thats probably another reason I like it the best. I never watched Hockey and stopped watching basketball when Doctor J retired

I'd have to still go with football. It has the perfect set-up, is the most competitive, and is an "event" each and every week. The (relative) shortness of the season makes everything matter more.
With the at-long-last resurgence of the Brewers, I haven't been more excited about baseball in a long time....but I have to still give the edge to football.

Football is probably the most fun to watch, but I picked baseball. It's the perfect athletic competition.

Soccer is a girls sport and rugby is a lesbian sport. Football, American Football, is the real deal.

NFL football.
Soccer might be the most boring sport ever to watch.

Why is soccer boring to watch ?
NFL everyone smashes everyone to get the ball . Basically legal thuggery . Timeouts , timeouts and more timeouts (Thank god they never brought them into soccer) .
Why do cricket players were pads and helmets ? Come on a willow (wood) ball coming towards you a 100mph , at your head or legs or even worse testicles . Personally I hate cricket its a middle class posh sport with their cucmber sandwiches and pinky cups of tea (What Regal used in his early WCW career gimmick) etc .

I'm with Bazzy. While I prefer American style football, I also like soccer. And anyone who thinks it's boring should break themselves in on an indoor soccer match from the MISL here in the States. You guys in Detroit have a pretty darn good team in the Ignition (they beat the Baltimore Blast back in January when I saw them, and I believe finished the regular season with the best record in the league). There are 2-point goals from outside the arc (basically like a three-pointer in basketball), and the action is super fast compared to outdoor soccer. For instance, the game I saw finished 10-6, and that was low scoring compared to some others I've seen.

Soccer is not an indoor sport. That is a gimmick way to try and get people to watch that lame sport. 2-point goals? Why don't they let them use their hands, put the net on a pole and call it basketball?

Indoor soccer is cool, but it's not real soccer. And real soccer is very boring to me.
I'm not going to say the sport sucks.. I know there's a lot of strategy and grace that go into the game... but I've tried on several occasions to watch and it bores me to tears.

Often, we as americans don't "get" european futbol. It's not just a game, it's a clash of history. I for one, would LOVE to go see Britan vs. Germany. Look at the history on that one...WW II, and back a long way farther... Listen to the crowds, if you think ECW had some rabid fans: "If you won the war, please stand up..." What are the Germans going to counter with? LOL. Nothing against germans, I'm half German myself. its just amazing to see.
