Huh? I dont see why you just don't just start another forum ... thats me ... but whatever. It really depends on the amount of aCe "traffic" we generate. If the fed's a one-shot deal, than I can't really see justifying making its own area..

If you want the aCe discussions in here then moving the other threads in the GWF forum would probably help some.

Get ready for the new section, Mr. Ingersoll. I think we have a long-term winner here!

The only thing that is a minus to me in the centra set is what happened to Trisis. However, the book hinted at a posssible cure that Shepard has for the plague. So my question to all the promoters is this: does anyone feel that Trisis can have her humanity restored?

Call me a lover of tragic movies ... I kind of would be dissappointed to see Trisis's humanity be restored ... I think the perfect ending would be Aegis defeating Murdok and then killing Trisis to save her from future pain. The story ends with a sad Aegis walking off into the sunset, winning the battle but losing the war.

Hi,
I got aCe 2119 today. It´s one of the best editions ever.
Now about Trisis. I hope she will get her humanity restored. Maybe in aCe 2120 or aCe 2121?

Does Aegis really deserve to have Trisis back as a human? I mean the guy is being tormented in that his wife is infected...but it doesn't seem like he is suffering enough from it yet. If he was sooooo worried about her he would have left the GWF when she disappeared, he deserves to linger in missery for a while longer for not protecting her in the first place and then for not going after her sooner!
If i could talk to this guy, here is my advice...it might even save you some face and let the people he is protecting look at him as more of a hero becasue he really does care about what he is fighting for.
Go after your wife, get her back, get her cured, and then take care of revenge and protecting the dimension. You look like a fool moaning about her, but you sure do one heck of a job being high and mighty defending Centra. Come on...the first card that Trisis appeared at ringside, you should be leading you team in a "rescue" mission and take her back...but no...you are fighting for the essence...Is that going to get her back? Go and TAKE your wife back! Murdok is always going to be one up on you if you let him parade her around like he is...
...who said this was just a game...

WELL...at first his only clue that was was missing was that Murdok may have been involved...sooooo, beat it out of him.
That, and heroes are always stupid...=P

I always think its much more 'realistic' if wrestlers are fighting for more than just a 'Title'. In the case of aCe, the situation is so serious that a 'Title' takes on more importance...and in the case of Aegis, Pete makes a very good point about him just going and getting his wife back, but he could always use The Essence as 'trade' or a lure. Sometimes you've got to bring your enemy to you.
I can't comment on Aegis' situation, but heroes need to have some 'weakness' to compensate for their incredible gifts. In his case, it might be vanity, ego or neglect of his loved ones. It may be too late for Trisis, but he can at least 'go down swinging', so to speak...

As of the opening of aCe he does not knwo where his wife is-they even mention on the book that you need to think how Aegis will react when Murdok brigns her out on Display. Personally, knowing Aegis, he would have the CWF arena scouted out and when he finds out,he wil take steps. It took Murdok the better part of almost what...five years or more before he decided to kidnap Trisis and mutate her? Murdok is not an Evil Genius-that role belongs to Godsend and Rankor, but he is crafty enough to use whatever he can to get the essence. If I were Aegis, I would either order his men to capture her the moment he sees her or, let Murdok THINK he has the upper hand and take my time and have men ready at each AcE card, that Trisis is attending, then take her back. Either way,I don't think it will take hinm long once he finds out. And once he has her safely returned, Murdok is going to wish The Ravagers motehrship took him down because Aegis will annhilate him!

So the key for Murdok is to keep his ace (Trisis) up his sleave until the time is right. Plus...that's a great storyline building twist with allowing the promoter to decide when to reveal the secret. You could have all sorts of build up before the secret comes out any number of ways. I'd be interested to see how different promotors do it.

Is there any possible way of getting the cards needed for ACE, without getting the other sets? I'm guessing not. I'm playing 2119, and I would love to play ACE, but I only own up to 2109 at this point.

that would be kind of hard to get all the cards for AcE w/o getting the other sets. There are a few that are special editon cards like Warfare and Lance at-las. My suggestion is to send an e-mail to Tom Filsinger himself aand Ask him. In the meantime, I would liek to pose this question to all the Centra promoters. First of all, there will be a Galactic title and Tag team Title belts but would you run with others for Centra. Also, since the roster is so small, do you feel it would cheapen the results to mix in a few bootlegs, just to even out the numbers?

heck to get Ventross you have to buy the whole 2111 set.
Grovel and Rouser can be purchased individually the rest I think are in 2117.

I don't have a problem with this small roster, since I have an Early Classics fed and the roster was even one less than that.
