Anyway, the way I see it, the belt has to be as much torn from the hands of the champion as it is won. For me, a disqualification now only occurs due to outside interference. That is equal to an ally running out, taking out the compitition, and helping the champ(Murdok) get away with the belt. There are storyline ways around this, like having ROC, for instance, put up something of signifigance to get a title match in a cage or a cell match. Basicall, the story I'm running with right now is that Murdok has gotten his hands on the Essence belt and he will stop at nothing to keep it. It is making it very hard for anyone else to get a clean shot at it, thus leading to possible drastic measures on behalf of one of the others teams to try to make a clean grab at the belt. As soon as someone else manages to win the climate will shift a little. If Nicodemus were to win the belt, for instance, he may use it to make a run AT his compition, instead of a run FROM them. I can kinda see that. Paganax is my current champ and Resurrection are my tag champs, but the factions all agreed to certain ground rules when aCe was formed...such as, a champion must defend his title every month, against a ranked contender (I only use a top 5). So if say, Paganax decided to give Rouser a title shot, good for him, but he still has to pony up to the plate against Aegis, Murdok, Godsend, Ventross or Rankor. For whatever reason, though, this hasn't been a problem in my fed as the two aCe champs have been Aegis and Paganax, and neither one seem like the type to run from a fight. Resurrection have shockingly dominated the tag ranks, only losing one match (via countout) and that was to Darkness Falls...who had yet to come close to winning a match yet, so they agreed that it must be a fluke and have put the titles on the line in the rematch (next show).
