Anyone else trying to recoup losses by betting on Art of War 3 in order to have some dough for the next UFC without having to reset? I just threw all my money on Monson hoping to pick up a few bucks. I wouldn't completely count Rizzo out. He always has a punchers chance...and Monson's stand up is pretty weak. I went all in on another fight on that card. I felt it was the safest bet and would give me more room to work with going forward. Take a guess which one. Well... most people have a puncher's chance. Rizzo has good hands, but Monson is a good, smart, superior fighter. He'll take Rizzo down and keep him there IMO.

I decided to go easy on this show as my MMA knowledge only goes as far as UFC and Pride (fat lot of good that promotion will do to me now). If I drop because of this then hopefully I'll bounce back with UFC 75 next week.

This thread has my personal endorsement.
I was asked to join but declined because I really didn't think I knew enough about UFC (although they often have shows here in my home town of Las Vegas) to be really competitive.
Good luck to all those involved!

(walks away...head down...mumbling to himself in shame) Here in the court house The whole town was there I see the judge High up in his chair Explain to the court room What went through your mind And we'll ask the jury What verdict they find -Johnny Cash 'I Hung My Head'[/b]

Your lack of knowledge would clearly not hinder you.... otherwise, how can you explain my current 3rd place standing? For the record, Monsoon's loss burned me for a couple of bucks too.

I never entered. Most sportsbooks here in my home town (Las Vegas) are called the Race and Sports book and it's really not unusual for horse racing to take up over half of the sportsbook. But in over 8 years of living here I have never bet on a single horse race because I know very little about it. BUT I do have over $100 to pick up at one casino after putting my money on Idaho because I correctly thought USC defeating them by 49.5 points was a bunch of bulls**t.

I'll throw in a few small bets for the WEC show and already have some down for the UFC.
