Do you care to make a ridiculous prop bet on that, Aquinas? I wish I had Werner-esque drawing skills....I'd take my favorite all-time COTG star, Janus the Overman, and draw him with a "I love the Cubs" shirt and a "Brewers suck" helmet

Do you care to make a ridiculous prop bet on that, Aquinas? Whoever's wrong has to wander the streets of Gary for an hour as part of the road trip to Havoc-Con, I mean Galacticon 2008.

I don't know if I'd want BDS to have to do that. He'll be stung enough when they get swept right out of the playoffs.

You on?

I'm still holding out hope for the Crew. Admirable. Foolhardy, but admirable. ;D

I'm still holding out hope for the Crew. If only they didn't have to face the Padres

HOLY COW! CUBS WIN!
The Chicago Cubs are in the playoffs! Congratulations BDS! Here on this board a few months ago I correctly picked the Cubs to take the NL Central. But I still think it would have been awesome for Aquinas' Brewers to at least get the Wild Card and end their long playoff drought.

I will suspend my vitriol for the Cubs long enough to congratulate BDS for his team's division capture. What a long road this has been....and it ticks me off to no end that the Brewers had it in their sights and blew it. I'd say, "There's always next year", but that doesn't give much comfort. Especially if they bring dipsh*t Ned Yost back.
Congrats, all the same.
I'll throw my playoff support to the Diamondbacks....I kinda dig them, if for no other reason than former Brewer pitcher Doug Davis.
