I've explained it a few times, but I don't know which threads...=)
On a regular Arena show and the two tournaments (for now), pinfalls and submissions are +/- 5 points for the winner/loser. Countouts are +/- 3 and DQs are +/- 1.
At Collision of the Stars, the point values/penalties are doubled. At the end of the year, I divide everyone's point totals by two, "leveling" the playing field a bit. Clearly, some guys still rise to the occasion (Omega, Caelum and Keller, for instance).

I'd be up for a POW set but it wouldn't make me want to restart or anything.

Dateline: Feb. 2080
Morpheus defeated Hechilles to retain the title.. next up for the champ, the red hot Caiman, who already has win over KO Keller and Omega this year.
Lots of DQs lately, including Ricken Prince no less than three times in a row (none of them for the Bow). Word is the Prince is pretty annoyed at management.
The Gamemaster squeaked by their first title defence with a DQ victory over Defiance.. definately a rematch coming.
The Estorian have lost some steam, losing to Defiance after dropping the belts, perhaps a dose of humility will get rid of their attitudes.
Grogan has won his first to matches.
Next up, Man of Iron qualifying begins. Interesting groups this year, with Omega and Star Warrior in the same group, as well as Caelum and Mimic (who are tag partners)
thats all for now

I have my fed storylines on Fed Forum as Old Beginnings EC 2074.....I don't run it like others I've read...shorting the timeline so I can get to the regular game....so I get some "Dream" matches...I'm in the third year (a half a year is like a full year in booklet time)....I haven't lose Dorado just yet and the Glads are on the scene...Some of the originals have left thought...My first single champion was Hechilles and Ricken Prince was the first to beat him...Screw and Prince was the first tag champs...Morpheus and Omega was the first to beat them....I had Jack Hood as a important storyline....The way I got rid of him was sheer genius...Lately I lost Cosmos until...Vice and Polarity did him good.....Krakan just damaged Dragonfighter...so I filled out the needed plot from the booklets now I can slow up for a while and character build some...

Man of Iron is my King of the Ring-like tournament... I run it sorta like the world cup.... During the two months before the event, the top 16 guys are divided into 4 groups (by ranking, sot he top two and bottom two are in the first group, etc), and each group has a round robin style tournament. Anyone that wins two of the three matches qualifies for the Man of Iron tournament. (so far, the 1st two tournament had 10 guys each.. this year is looking like less) The man of Iron tournament itself is a single elimination tourney, with each match being 2 of three falls, so its a true test of endurance and wrestling skill. The first two winners were Caelum (in 2078) and Keller (in 2079) I'm currently in the midst of qualifying for the 2080 man of iron tournament. its gonna be interesting, since so far Tantalis, in a huge upset, beat Omega (for his 2nd win) to qualify... leaving Omega to fight GWF champ Caiman in his third match, with the loser left in the cold. Star Warrior is already out, and Grogan also needs a win, so the tourney could well be without Cetans this year. Since I seem to have drifted into a fed update, both title changed hands since last time. Caiman is on fire, and beat Morpheus to take the Title, while the Gamemasters got obliterated by Defiance. The tag scene has been kinda ugly lately, with no clear top contenders, since the Grogan has cooled off considerably, but had a nice series of matches with Hechilles. Meanwhile, Commander Sam has finially strung a few wins together(including Morpheus) , and will be getting a title shot at Caiman next card. Ricken Prince has challenged KO Keller to a POW rules match at this year's Retribution, swearing to show the GWF he's the toughest guy around when the referees don't hold him back (my other PPV, started last year, with all special matches), with the loser leaving the GWF. Keller quickly agreed. That's all for now (we could use an update from you Tommy .. its been a week at least

Fed Update:
Man of Iron is in the Books... this year qualifying was brutal.. with both Omega and Morphues being eliminated!
The champ Caiman made it to the finals to face his partner Hechilles. In an excellent match, Caiman won two falls with the Handicapper to become the Man of Iron for 2080.
In other news, Defiance had a wild brawl with the wind riders, leading to Blood getting injured. He'll have to fight hurt to defend the tile in the rematch.
Caiman has been completely dominant the last couple cards, it's looking like it will be a good title reign.. new up for him, Torin Caelum (whi gave him a great match in the Man of Iron Semi-Finals.
Star Warrior defeated both Estorians singly, but kept their battle in the ring, rather then looking to avenge their attack on Cosmos. Rumor has it Cosmos is making his own plans for when he returns, but Omega is trying to make sure the conflict stays in the ring.

Polarity sucks.
Salvation's got a pretty good card, and Sin's finisher is nice, being a +3...but his chart weaknesses, bad Power and Agility and weak PIN Rating combined with Salvation's refusal to perform PIN Saves just REALLY kills that team against all but the bottom of the barrel.
Just wanted to share that.

I don't recall them sucking when I played the classics before ec came out, but I have to say I can't see them troubling the gamemasters after their 2083 updates at all.

They're a great concept, and Salvation's talented...but that "no PIN Saves" thing just KILLS Sin.

I posted this on my fed thread but it's too good to keep back...here it is...let me know what you thing...need background read the fed.. Conversation on Aldebaran
In a secluded hill country of Aldebaran. An immense mansion behind a high walled gate looms. A large hover limo approaches the gate. Security guards come out from the near by guard house. Looks inside then waves them through the opening gate.
Morpheus comes into the training. Cosmos is working out in the ring with a couple of unknowns.
Morpheus: “Hey Lord, Looks like your ready to get back to work.”
Cosmos: “Yeah! Working the kinks out. These guys know their stuff.”
Morpheus: “With the looks of the GWF lately. They will be needed. Omega is running the Fed into the ground. But I am too old. That is why you have to step up.”
Cosmos: “I can do it. Those Cetusians are sanctimonious jerks. Pretending to help me until the odds go against them.”
Morpheus: “It’s that damn code of theirs. It’s a joke and so shallow. They hide behind it like mommas apron.”
Cosmos: The thing you have shown me make perfect sense. I am ready to take the next step.”
Morpheus: “That’s good to hear. I’ll sett up a meeting with the good bishop. The ceremony is simple but effective. You’ll go through it with flying colors. What about your scars? You know they can be erased.”
Cosmos: “ No...They are a badge and a sign for all those jerks. They will be more fearful and that will work to my advantage.”
Morpheus: “ I guess if your OK. I’m OK with it. Got to go make a few calls...” Talking to himself as he walks out: “Let’s see the Bishop...That money grubbing Colby...and that doctor for those others...They will need a edge against those Gladiators...I feel like that character from the old movie “Wizard of Oz”...Corny, but I love those flying monkeys!”
Three weeks later:
In an old Gothic church like building. A ceremony is about to commence. The smell of sulfuric incense wafts though the air, that is heavy with the heat of a large furnace in the background. Giving a glow of red, orange and gold to everything.
Acolytes lining the walls dressed in pink and purple pointed cowls and ropes. Lowly chanting in ritual voice. The Bishop is at the tall impressive rostrum. Standing before group of men. Cosmos is in the midst. Stripped bare to the waist. We notice the muscle development since his attack months ago. He is looking up at the holy man with glazed eyes. The Bishop’s cowl is embroidered with a skull like symbol. He cants in a very ancient tongue. It seems he is glowing with pyro-energy. He walks slowly down the steps of the rostrum, in front of Cosmos.
“Now you will become one of us!” He raises his left hand high as the palm glows bright red, going to white hot. He reaches down and palms Cosmos forehead...Cosmos screams in pain as the smell of burnt flesh gag the group...”Now! You are no longer Cosmos...Now! You are no longer weak...Now! You are strong...You are THANTOS!”
He removes his hand and burnt into Thantos forehead is a skull that glows briefly red then cools quickly...Thantos asks: “Who are you?”
The Bishop states: “ I am of the one as you now are...I am called Bishop Hell!”
Thantos: “I will remember you that is true and as of the one. We will reign. That we promise.”
Hell: “Beware of promises for you may be bound by them. No go and be strong and vanquish the weak!”
Bishop Hell raises his hand and emits a fireball that is launched into the rafters. That explodes into a starburst showering down glowing embers. The Acolytes break into dance. Strips off their ropes revealing male and female. The ceremony becomes an orgy of terrible debauchery...If you have ever envisioned Dante’s inferno it would look like that.
Thantos, Morpheus and the others walk out towards their destiny...

Interesting take Frank.. It almost makes Thantos seem to have been manipulated into being the evil leader.
I never really though about the skull having any big signifgance, very cool that

Just a little fed update....
Retribution is in the books! This is my PPV that's all POW rules (or cage matches) on Pleides...
Gamemasters got pwned by the Estorians... The Estorians had put Cosmos on the shelf, and he was looking for vengeance, while Star Warrior was happy with beating them in the ring... neither happened. The Gamemasters have been much more effective in singles for me lately.
The biggest grudge of the card was Sam Vs Morpheus... Sam was very upset when a couple months back he finially got a title shot, only to find he had a man of iron qualifier(my other PPv, explanation is above)match early in the card... Morpheus came out and told him to quit whining, and a feud was born. The two have had some good brutal matches, but in this one Morpheus totally overpowered Sam, all the while lecturing him on how to be a true tough guy... Sam left furious and humbled.
In the Title scene, the Wind Riders surpised Defiance by beating them at their own game to keep the tag titles. It seems these guys stuggle for a lot of people, but I gotta say they're one of the best teams ever for me! This is their 2nd title run, their first being the long in my history (granted, the tag belts are pretty volatile, so it wasn't THAT long, but still)
For the big belt, Mighty Grogan talked his way into a title shot against champ Torin Caelum. A few cards earlier Grogan had a match with Omega that was a really snoozer, and Caelum accused Grogan of taking it easy on his fellow Cetan.. Grogran was furious, and challenged (and beat) Caelum both in a tag match with Omega and a non-title match, but Caelum came through when the belt was on the line to retain.
I'd absolutely LOVE for Caelum to have a nice run and retire as champ, but we'll see...

I've been thinking about EC guys staying around too...
I have definate plans for the Wind Riders (or one of them at least) to tag with Pulsar in 2088, I'm trying to come up with something for Caiman as well.
Fed Update Dateline; Mar 2081
KO Keller became the heavyweight champ for the 3rd time, but under dubious circumstances. The hottest feud going right now is Sam-Morpheus. After Sam felt Morpheus was treating him like a jobber, and Morpheus beat him soundly (see my last update) it looked as if things were sort of settled, when during a match between the two Mangus came down to ringside, Sam went after him and caused the DQ. Omega evened the odds, but while Morpheus and Omega were battling, Mangus got a sledge hammer from under the ring and shattered Sam's elbow. Strangely, Sam blamed Morpheus for orchestrating the attack, claiming it was just another ploy to keep him away from the title, and vowed revenge.
The revenge came at Morpheus' last title defense against Keller, Sam came down to ringside (with his arm in a sling) and got up on the apron, screaming at Morpheus. The distraction allowed Keller time to recover from a Trip to Hades. Sam saw Keller back up and left without getting involved, as Morpheus turned around into the Ten Count!
Meanwhile, Paladin Power is feuding with Hechilles and Caiman, with the Titans getting the best of things for the time being (both Hechilles and Caiman have been recently injured by Moonstrike). Hechilles has been beginning to hear whispers that he just can't win the big match, and its seems to have left him with a shorter temper then when he first arrived in the GWF.
The Estorians have the tag belts, and have handily beat Defiance, the WInd Riders, and Paladin Power in recent weeks. The Gamemasters (unranked) promised they could take the belts, and even beat the two Estorians in singles matches. Omega stepped in and dis not allo the title shot however, and the Gmaemasters were unable to win a non-title match to prove their mettle.
In other news, Torin Caelum has announced that the Man of Iron tournment will be his last GWF card. He said he plans to train young wrestlers on his home planet, and looked forward to the day when his first pupil wrestled in the GWF. Following in the tradition of the Mensans and Screw, he be leaving while still competing at a high level, and is in fact currently the #1 contender for the GWF title. Omega did not comment when asked if the retiring star would get a last shot at GWF gold.

well...I have gotten my Early Classics fed rolling. I am currently only in January 2075, and have only run 4 cards....
I am pretty much following the books for this fed, as it is my "historical" fed...but, things can and will branch out according to the dice.
the big news, really, is Omega winning the The Tournament 2074 to become the first ever GWF Galaxian Champion. The Tournaments will eventually be the longest running supercard for my GWF fed. It is basically a double-elimination tournament, with the winner getting a shot at the GWF Champion. But, for 2074, the winner was awarded the title. Moonstrike was the break-out star in the tournament, though, making it to the Tournament Finals. But, Omega came back from a loss and beat Moonstrike twice in a row to win the belt
Omega would go on in November to win the GWF Tag Team Titles Tournament with partner, Morpheus. This sets Omega as a true GWF Legend, as he was the first ever GWF and GWF Tag Team Champion...at the same time.
The fed really hasn't gotten started too much, though...but some interesting things have happened.
Torin Caelum is having a very difficult time winning. He finally did win a match....vs. Torpor. Not that big of a deal, really...but, a win is a win.
The Mensans are doing VERY good...and they have a Title shot vs. The Guardians for the tag titles on the next card...which will be for January 2075.
I only hold 1 card per month right now...and that is always at Deimos. I have a "Growth Plan" made out...and I will post that in a bit on this thread.

Here is my GWF "Growth Plan"....a plan for me to expand the number of shows, titles, ect through to the year 2094. This really just gives me an idea of what comes in at what time....
Chris
GWF Growth Plan
2074 (opening year) – GWF works out a deal with Deimos Moon, Mars, for a monthly arena card. The Tournament (a double elimination tournament) is held in October of that year, and is to be held every year in October.
2079 (5 years) – Expand to a monthly show at the Titan Sportatorium, Titan Moon, Saturn. The GWF also adds a secondary title: GWF Deimos Championship
2080 (6 years) – Sign a monthly local HoloNet Deal for shows to be shown on Earth’s local planetary channel (Monthly Deimos Arena Shows).
2083 (9 years) – Sign a Solar System HoloNet Deal, shown throughout the Solar System (Monthly Deimos Arena Shows)…Show name will be called GWF Stars of Mars Wrestling
2086 (12 years) – Sign a Sector-Wide HoloNet Deal, shown throughout this Sector of the Galaxy (Monthly Deimos Arena Shows)…Show will still be called the GWF Stars of Mars Wrestling
Sector includes Arena shows at Mira Ceti War Memorial, Mira, Cetus…Amazon Arena, Bellatrix, Orion…Titan Sportatorium, Titan Moon, Saturn…Deimos InterGalactic Arena, Deimos Moon, Mars (Monthly HoloNet Show), with the Deimos show being a monthly event for the GWF Stars of Mars program (24 Cards Total, with 1 of the 2 monthly shows being the Deimos Show, televised)
2087 (13 years) – The GWF has it’s first PPV in April (Champions of the Galaxy I: “Total War”) plus 3 other SuperCards…goes to bi-weekly HoloNet Shows, rotating throughout the sector…Show name changed to GWF All-Out Wrestling. The GWF renames the Deimos Championship the InterPlanetary Title.
2091 (17 years) – GWF expands to a 2nd PPV (The Great Galaxian Bash in July) AND signs a Galaxy-wide TV Deal, with 1 TV show per week, and a minor SuperCard each month (for a total of 5 cards per month)…show name changed to GWF WarGames. The GWF introduces the GWF WarGames Titles (singles & tag team). The WarGames Title is always defended in Best 2/3 Falls Matches (singles) and Elimination Rules (tag team)
2094 (20 years) – The GWF renames the WarGames Tag Team Title to the InterPlanetary Tag Team Title (and will drop the elimination defense rules). The GWF also continues to use the GWF WarGames Title as its tertiary singles belt, along with keeping the rules for the defense of the belt (Best 2/3 Falls). The GWF also expands to a 3rd PPV (GWF Deimos Perennial), to be held in January of each year.
***The Tournament, the longest-running tradition in the GWF, will remain true to it’s roots, and will stay a free-view SuperCard on the HoloNet, held every year in October, at the Deimos InterGalactic Arena. The Tournament will continue to also be a Double Elimination Tournament, with the winner wining $100,000,000 Inter-Stellar Kredits (or, isk), The Tournament Trophy, and a “Money in the Bank” contract to face the GWF Champion at anytime during the next year.***
