Does anyone else wish there'd be more CLASSICS to fill in the years? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! We waited long enough for EC to have a complete fed history. If any more characters were added we'd have to scrap everything we've done with EC and start over AGAIN!!! I don't use bootlegs either, but have used Rafaki from Dimension X Classics and Rune Larrs from Classics 3000 in my EC fed, as well as Jack Hood from the Genesis book. I also plan to bring Terrible Turk from LOW in the early 2080's when the roster dips a little again. Quick fed update... Screw is currently defending the Galaxian Heavyweight Title against K.O. Keller. They've had two matches with no clear winner yet (one was bead officiating and one was a DQ when Santon attacked Keller). Paladin Power is involved in a red-hot feud against the Mensans. Trotarus and Cordsar got screwed over in two title matches, as Trotarus had a foot on the ropes but the referee counted the pin anyways. This has made Cordsar whine even more than usual, as he claims that Commissioner Melesky has it in for him. Omega and Commander Sam might get a title shot soon, as they upset Moonstrike and Solar Flare in a non-title match recently. At last year's Revolution II PPV, Ricken Prince put both members of Defiance out of action. Blood has finally returned after being out for 4 months and has sworn revenge on the monarch. Jammer has had to undergo a complete knee reconstruction and isn't set to return anytime soon. Cosmos has managed to p*ss off Prince, Caelum, Keller, and now Screw since ehtering the fed a few months back. He's got talent, but needs to keep his mouth shut. Thetis went to a time limit draw against Morpheus, only to have th powerhouse destroy him in a rematch, leaving the CrossCurrent with a herinated disk and a concussion as a result. He'll be out for awhile while Vortex attempts to avenge his partner. That's all the headlines for now!

I would have to say No at this time. I already restarted my fed twice, the first time when I lost my record books and restarted with the original classics sets. Then the second time when the Early Classics came out. I am not sure if I would be able to stand starting over again and keep what is left of my sanity ;D

I'm a little hesitant to start at the beginning, because some day there might be another edition.

I'm a little hesitant to start at the beginning, because some day there might be another edition. I am not sure it is possible to create a classics edition that chronologically precedes Early Classics because Early Classics begins in 2074 which is the year when Omega and Morpheus left the POW to start the GWF. However, I am STRONGLY hoping that someday we may get a POW set. But a POW edition(s) would really be a prelude to the GWF and I do not think it would be cause to restart your GWF fed since it would not effect any GWF records. If a POW set is made someday, it will only take me seconds to pre order it. But I really doubt I would consider restarting my GWF fed- I just do not see why that would be necessary.

A POW set is a different animal altogether. I'd have no problem at all with a POW CLASSICS set. In fact, if it was ever going to happen, I'd want it to happen ASAP. But that's just me.

If there was a P.O.W. set, I might just add the characters to aCe or make up a hodgepodge fed with people from Dimension X Classics, Classics 3000, and maybe a few Bash guys.

No interest in a P.O.W. set here.
Back to the Early Classics...Star Warrior and Cosmos have turned into kinda punks for me early on. They started off big, then picked up some bad losses...and have now wound up in a feud with The Wind Riders, which is getting them booed thanks to the Wind Riders being the hometown boys.

Heh, That's kinda happened for me too.... Cosmos injured both Hechilles and Caiman, so the crowd has been getting on their case a bit, especially now that Caiman and Hechilles are back from injury and wiped the mat with them. In other news, I'm trying to figure out how to downgrade my buddy KO I've been playing my other feds of late (did a couple 2120 cards, then a couple LOW) but I'll likely bring EC with me on my business trip to Edmonton next week, so I'll have a big update probably Memorial Day

I am heading into my first PPV. The main event was supposed to be Dorado Sundown vs. The Guardians with the Guardians putting up their shares of the GWF. WInner takes all kind of thing. The problem is that Dorado Sundown had been dominating them every single match. Either in singles or tag team. Now two cards before my PPV, both Omega and Morpheus have been injured by them.
So the question is, do I still have Guardians face them or should I have replacements? Guardians can not buy a win right now and facing Dorado Sundown with them injured scares me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh and one more thing...NO MORE CLASSICS. I am too far into my fed to restart so if any more come out after the years I have passed. I will not get them.
But if they are from a year I have not got to yet. IT'S ON!!! ;D

I had that same problem before I restarted when EC came out... I had the match, and Dorado Sundown won, but since the cheated (there was alot of out of ring action) the entire rest of the roster stormed the ring after the match. Sundown got pummeled and left the fed, since no one who sign any matches with them. This was also the first tension between Omega and Morpheus, since Omega felt they had wronged teh Doradoans(?) and Morpheus was just glad to see them gone. So see, it can all work out if you're creative. Just have the match

I just finished 2079 (while on a boring business trip)
Morpheus beat Omega, the KO Keller on his way to being named the wrestler of the year. There's no clear #1 contender right now, as the top guys keep beating each other. Keller will likely get a rematch, since he had the best win loss record in 2079.
The Estorians are totally dominating the tag scene, but aren't making alot of friends, the took out Defiance (literally, injuring for Blood then Jammer) and haven't come close to getting pinned... up next the gamemasters... Cosmos and Moonstrike have quite a rivalry going. The Gamemasters won almost instantly in one match, where Cosmos FLOORED Moonstrike with a punch, then locked in the masterlock. Moonstrike claimed his used a foreign object, and demanded a rematch, In the two of three falls match, Moonstrike blasted Cosmos with a chair, giving up the first fall, but winning the next two easily as the kept Star Warrior on the apron most of the match.
A "rubber" match saw a great back and forth contest, with the Cetus Sleeper getting the job done.
I'm looking foward to Grogan debuting, which will happen in a card or two.

Here I am, answering my own posts (someone please respond before I do it again!) anyway, I thought I'd post some W-L records for my fed so far, I'd love to see/hear some comparisions (this is through 2079):
Top Three:
KO Keller (60-23) Omega (56-20) Torin Caelum (49-30)
Big Disappointments:
Commander Sam (37-42) Blood (13-26) Bullwhip (2-9!)
Suprises:
Mimic (32-34.... better than Sam!) Tano (8-6) Solar Flare (17-15)
Bottom: Silvar (10-50) Torpor (7-27)
Tag Team best: Defiance (30-19) Paladin Power (37-25) Estorians (7-3)
Worst: Cross Currents (18-58).. the only team signifigantly below .500!
dishonorable Mention: Dorado Sundown (7-8)
Short Lived but great:
Rock Solid (12-7) Keller/Sam (11-3)

The dice don't lie, its not my fault Keller is the man I'm hoping that at some point that Sam will win a few.. he's pretty much the only major singles wrestler that has never earned a title shot. I'm tempted to give him one just for the heck of it, but then I've gotten some good mileage out of it as a story angle. I'm wondering what's going to happen with Blood when Jammer leaves... I just can't see him as a singles factor.. Moonstrike maybe, but not Blood.

The 2080 landscape hasn't changed like I thought it would when Keller got his downgrade. He and Caelum are each approximately 40 points ahead of the nearest competitor (Omega) in the rankings.

Well, in a suprising upset the Mensans beat the Fight Club (K.O. Keller & Torin Caelum) for the GWF Tag Titles at my Galactic Rumble PPV. It was a typical heel win as well.
Earlier that night the Mensans realized they could never beat the Fight Club decided to take matters into their own hands. While Fight Club was being interviewed the Mensans did a sneak attack with some stun guns and did their damage.
When the match was taking place Fight Club came out very groggy and did not have any offense. Then at the end of the match, Trotarus distracted the ref while taunting Keller, Then Cordsar used the stun gun again and put Torin in the Mensan Lock. When the ref turned around Torin was passed out and the ref called for the bell. Keller did try to break the pin, but got caught up in the ropes.
During the Rumble, Moonstirke came out on fire and put out 6 guys, but lost to Screw, who was the last to come in. So Screw will get a GWF TItle shot at my big April PPV (no name yet).
Suggestion on a PPV name would be welcome.
That's it for now.
Oh, and Blacklash is still GWF Champ!!

You can't just throw something like that out there... How do you do points? (If you've explained on a previous thread, feel free to just put a link) I keep the W-L records, but do the actual top ten by feel and momentum... I've found most point systems just don't change fast enough.

Wow, using Keller and Caelum as a team must be pretty stacked, I can't believe the Mensans won... they're decent (they had a brief title run for me) but mostly did just well enough to lose.
I will miss them though (they just fought their last match in my neck of the galaxy)
In my fed, the Gamemasters stunned the red hot Estorians to take the tag team titles! The crowd went crazy at seeing the guys who took out Defiance just to see them injured get beat at last... I'm sure its not the end of the feud though.
Meanwhile, Hechilles beat Morpheus in a non title match, and will have a title shot on the next card.
