All I can think to say is, wow! That would be the scariest zombie movie ever. You think a sprinting zombie is freaky. Imagine a zombie throwing buses and climbing walls. Nas-tee!
I also want to say I liked that Hulk better then the Ang Lee Hulk.

That was really good. Personally I could see Marvel actually doing a Marvel Zombies movie, what with the zombie genre making a big comeback lately.
And that is still the creepiest comic I have ever read. A zombie with remorse....that's scary.

I need to pick up the comics. Don't think they'll ever do a movie though. It would be too hard to explain to the kids about Spider-Man being a cannibal.

I don't see why the movie wouldn't happen. I mean Punisher wasn't a "kid friendly" Marvel movie and neither where the Blade films. Just cause it has the Marvel heroes in it doesn't mean it is for kids...kind of like Pro Wrestling at times, just cause kids like John Cena doesn't mean they should watch everything on the show. Personally I would just make the film, go all out to make it one kick ass zombie flick, slap a giant neon flashing [glow=red,2,300]R[/glow] rating on it and slap the responsability straight on the parent's heads. And trust me, being a new dad and all I realize that the responsability of raising my kids is MINE and just because I don't want them to see something doesn't mean that something shouldn't exist. So comeon Marvel, give us the Zombies!

Not saying it shouldn't be made, just saying it probably won't be made. Spider-Man is an icon known across the world. A hero that kids get into comics over. He has an image. If they made a zombie movie that image would be tarnished a bit I think. It would be like making a Bugs Bunny or Micky Mouse slasher film. The comics stay in their own little niche market. A full blown movie would get mainstream attention.
John Kricfalusi redid Ren and Stimpy for an adult audience and it didn't go over very well. Even though his vision of the characters were a little more risque to begin with and the new shows aired on Spike, it still got a lot of flack. I'm sure if Marvel put out a zombie hero movie they'd get a lot of flack too. This isn't to say I wouldn't love to see a movie like this though.

Odd you bring that up because I liked the Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon mush more then the mindless Nicktoon. Of course that could just be me, I like South Park and the Simpsons, hate Family Guy....
And to put the topic sort of back on track, I think the creepiest thing about the Marvel Zombies was Spider-Man. But I said that already...

Not to take it back off track, hehehehehe I liked the party cartoon too but some of the things people complained about was that it was an original Nicktoon, one of the cartoons that helped nickelodean get it's cartoon run started. (Maybe I should start a topic on it ) Comics have been through a lot over the years but a lot of people still see them as kid's stuff. Spider-Man was creepy, Hulk was scarey, and Cap was pretty spooky. The people who made the trailer did a bang up job. Osk needs to chime in on this one.

I don't see why the movie wouldn't happen. ! It's guaranteed it won't happen live action since most of those characters are under contract to a variety of different studios (thus why Kingpin can never appear in a Spider Man movie since his rights was contracted to the Daredevil franchise) However, it could definitely be a cartoon like many of the ones Marvel has been putting out in the last 2 years. I'd love that!!!

Animated zombies just don't seem nearly as cool to me. There is something visceral about seeing them "alive" so to speak.
And just so everyone knows that while I do love zombie movies and stuff they are easily the "movie" monster that scares me the most. Vampires as depected in popular media can't exist, neither can werewolves, mummies or invisible men. Zombies on the other hand are totally within the realm of current scientific understanding and could be real. There are ways to reanimate dead tissue...

First of all Adam, not liking Family Guy makes you truly awesome...Our kind is sadly rare...
if you haven't read any/all the Marvel Zombies stuff, the hardcovers are tres cool....And the story is actually way creepy...and if you don't know what you're getting into, kinda disturbing...I also find the fact that they exist in actual Marvel canon (as an alternate dimension accessible by mainstream Marvel characters) to be an added bonus, so it's not just more "throwaway" material...
And on the Zombie fear subject, first time I had to work a midnight shift at my store (which is quite large really) when the power failed for an extended period was....Well, it was rather uncomfortable...I think we'd just watched the 2004 Dawn of the Dead, so when the whole town is pitch black, at night, and you see the odd silhouette/s running by down the street, it's kinda freaky...
Finally, the Marvel Zombies series does manage to be quite funny in parts...A very Dark humour of course such as (spoiler):
Zombie Spiderman perched in the Daily Bugle's window of J Jonah Jameson's office...JJJ is terrified of course and Spiderman says "Oh I'm going to enjoy this!"
