Anyone out there tried this one? www.thewrestlinggame.comLooks like ton of posts, seemingly tons of members, course they could just be bluffing that stuff... all in all it looks interesting. I took the plunge and singed up. it's fun. You need to do a lot of stat building in the beginning, but it's fun trying to work out how it all works. There's a ton of customization. I'm in...and proudly lost my first match...I think I need to do something for the wrestling moves...hhhmmm...i may need your assistance.
Anyway, all in all it wasn't bad. Must be a randomized dice engine rolling out moves as most do with commentary.
Here's my match.
Ring Announcer: "The following contest is scheduled for One Fall!"
Ring Announcer: "Introducing first, Konrad1998"!
Konrad1998 makes his way to the ring
Ring Announcer: "and his opponent, Alaskan Bear Jim North"!
Alaskan Bear Jim North makes his way to the ring
The two wrestlers stare proudly at each other
and then engage in a exciting test of strength, trying to overcome their opponent
after a few, seemingly endless, seconds and an enormous effort Konrad1998 prevails
Konrad1998 stares at Alaskan Bear Jim North in front of him
and hits his face with an light Ear Slap showing no respect!!
Konrad1998 prepares to hit the rival
hits the rival quickly with his forearm performing a light Forearm Smash!!
Konrad1998 puts his opponent on his shoulders
and throws himself backward, trampling him with light Samoan Drop!!
Konrad1998 gets close to his grounded opponent
and strikes his forehead with a light Knee Stomp!!
Konrad1998 grabs Alaskan Bear Jim North's hair
Konrad1998 uses the right hand to grab Alaskan Bear Jim North's head, pulling Alaskan Bear Jim North above his shoulder performing a Snapmare
and kneels down, throwing Alaskan Bear Jim North forward, flipping him down, slamming him on the mat back first, executing a light Snapmare!!
Alaskan Bear Jim North interrupts his opponent attacks sequence
Alaskan Bear Jim North stares at the opponent in front of him
Konrad1998 avoids an Ear Slap and takes the initiative
Konrad1998 stares at Alaskan Bear Jim North
and gives him an light Ear Slap!!
Konrad1998 prepares to hit the rival

Konrad1998 charges the leg
and brings it down to hit Alaskan Bear Jim North with an light Angry Stomp!!
Konrad1998 grabs Alaskan Bear Jim North's hair
Konrad1998 grabs his opponent's nape from behind with his right hand
and kneels down, flipping him over his shoulder down to the mat, back first connecting with a light Snapmare!!
Konrad1998 grabs Alaskan Bear Jim North's hair
Konrad1998 grabs one of his opponent's armd and swings him into the ropes
Konrad1998 takes a run-up on the ropes, runs towards his opponent
then he hits his back with his arm taut performing a light Clothesline to Back!!
Konrad1998 gets on the top turnbuckle with a jump and raises his fists to the sky holding them together
and throws himself toward Alaskan Bear Jim North hitting him with a strong Double Axe Handle!!
ALASKAN BEAR JIM NORTH HAS A CUT!!!

Signed up for it from Toasterboy's link (hope that helps you out!) but I couldn't get the pages to display right. I am trying to access it from work, so it might just be their firewalls not letting me in. I'll check it out at home. Free is always good!

Ya know it isn't bad...lol...i now use all my free time on this, Cotg/LOW of course, SPW, bloodngutz...and that's it really. Tried Kayfabe...too much writing, tried SOS...too much rolling...lol...

Closest thing it compares to is SPW. I'd suggest asking this in their forum though as last time we discussed it here all hell broke loose! I like it for it's depth and how you can improve your wrestlers stats. It has more of an RPG feel to it, but not like classic RPG's where you play only one guy. They do tournaments every month and put up a flyer with all the matches outlined. It is pricey but I like it. |

i have often wondered about bloodngutz..... how is that? Chris ya its good, and they promote everything overthere so you won't get chastised for saying you're from here...lol... their forums have tons of info...i think there are a few from here over there now. |
