Heck, the entire reason my wife got it is for Pokemon (though she's recently gone back to playing her old Gameboy SP) Pokemon has been the main reason I've gotten any version of the Gameboy. I never had any intentions of getting a DS, until I saw the new Pokemon was out and immediately began coveting it Although I have to say that I get equal mileage out of Fire Pro Wrestling 2....one of the best games I've gotten.

My wife really wants to play Pokemon, too, but she can't justify the expense for the DS and the game just to play Pokemon while she's waiting in line to pick the kids up from places. I'm trying to talk her into it, but so far she isn't budging.

You can probably pick up a pre-owned DS Phat for under $100, if that helps.

No, she'd want a new one. I'm sure I'd hear something about "other people's cooties" before getting a lecture on hurting the manufacturer by buying it used from Gamestop. ;D

Chuckles.
Well I'm bringing the DS and both my wife's and my games so if anyone wants to do trades for Pokemon, let me know. Don't know how much we'll have to offer (I just beat the 8th gym and she's just coming to the 5th gym) but we'll trade for what we can get.
